The Monarchal Summit

So, the summit

Warning for very messy structure, imma try to keep it in a somewhat chronological order, but I’ll most likely mess that up half way through. And I’ll also issue a warning for incorrect english and very bad grammar. And these are MY opinions and observations <3

First off, babe and Milo needs to take Asher shopping. Babe also needs to teach their man how to cook. ALSO Aggro has been mentioned, thank you Erik. Completely unrelated, but fuck Asher is hot. I’m a sucker for guys with messy hair

Where is William!? Why has he left poor Vincent to deal with this on his own. I’m not a Vincent girly, never have been, but I feel very bad for him. At Least Lovely is there for him. And his music choice, immaculate. Chefs kiss. Giving Lovely a crown, and made by the same craftsmen that made his, top notch boyfriend behaviour. “It’s such a privilege that I get to stand at your side” GOD DAMN 

Moving on to Sam, he is probably the realest character ever. “When this is all done, we’re getting ice cream” realest shit i’ve ever heard except it’s practically Winter where i’m at and it’s cold af here

And going from one vamp to another, Porter is a menece and I love him sm. Ash is and always will be number one, but Porter is a close second now. But can we talk about the fact that Vincent straight up called Treasure “your human”... like sir, isn’t that a bit weird? Idk, maybe it’s just me. But I do like that Vincent genuinely tries to be civil with Porter, and for the most part he succeeds. So some part of me thinks it’s a little bit mean of Porter to add the extra stress of saying he’ll be bringing an empowered human to the summit, and then pretend Vincent is crazy for doing something about it, (the seating arrangement and such). Then again, the part of me that grew up with 3 brothers, one of them being my twin (love him with all my heart but when you have to share room with a teenage boy for 7 years you grow a tad bit tired of it), thinks Porter is fucking hilarious. Cause he is funny.    

Wolfpack, by beloved. One again though, where is William, and why is he leaving Vincent to 1. “Extend his gratitude”, and 2. Do this all on his own.  And ofc the Shaw pack is going to be enjoyable to be around, they’re amazing (i¨m very biassed here but still) “Blink twice if you need a way out buddy, we’re pretty good at distractions” I literally love Asher so much, muah.

I’m gonna make a jump here, and go to Alexis and Darlin’. Ew, just ew. She reminds me of one of my uncles ex wifes. She was a nasty person, just really mean. And Alexis gives me the same vibes. Like the whole “when your old” bullshit, just straight up nasty. And love Porter for stepping in, and love Sam for being protective and still so good to Darlin’. They both very much deserve each other.  

ONCE AGAIN WHERE IS WILLIAM and why is this random guy bashing him to David. He has a point though, or several points. He does have a tendency to turn a blind eye to questionable things. And we would all like to see Quinn burn

Back to the wolfpack, and my finance Asher. We know you love food puppy, you make that very clear. Also Porter is right, food needs to taste good if it doesn’t serve any other purposes. I love how Asher asks Babes opinion before making a decision. (I could go on and on about them and their dynamic, but that will have to be a separate post) Porter getting right to it with Sweetheart is brave, and it really gets the lore going. 

Now, getting into the heavier stuff. I said it before and I’ll say it again. Poor Vincent, and where is William???? Okay… the inversion was planned. That explains a lot, and at the same time makes the whole thing so much more tragic. I remember something either Asher or Milo said about close nit and their propaganda after the inversion “it’s like they had this ready to go” and they did. Because they planned it. Cruel. And that they got funding for it makes it even more disgusting.  And I’m also worried for Sweetheart, like what happened to them?? And who killed the king of Bennet? His progeny? For money and power? Or Sweetheart out of self defence? Are they a powerful enough stealth to pull that of? Like what happened there?  Erik does love to leave us hanging. 

Alright that’s it for now, I might come up with something new later and add that, or write something more detailed.

This may be odd to say. But it is clear (to me!!) that you care about the sauce boss a lot in your art and find a lot of comfort in who he is. The way you draw his eyes & hair specifically really calls to your attention to detail that's present in all of your art. It doesn't come across as parasocial in the slightest either - you just genuinely like what he does and play with the idea of the dude and aren't weird about his personal life. Idk maybe I'm not making sense but it's nice to see.

Also, your art really does reflect the same type of feelings as Sachiko Kaneoya's captures, in my opinion. Your use of line work and shadows also speaks to the ukiyo-e prints of the Edo period of Japan, though I'm not sure if that's intentional!! Specifically, the Takiyasha the Witch print is what the shadowing reminds me of.

Lastly, the dedication to your projects and work as a whole is so impressive. I've been here for a while following your art and watching the progress has been so cool. Your colors have become a little more cohesive and pull pieces together - they always have, but the grasp on color theory is clear there. Seeing that you're going to college to pursue what you put so much work into is the dream and I really hope it works out!!

I'm so sorry for how long this is and if it's weird, absolutely don't feel the need to respond especially since you can't shorten the post and I can't get it under a readmore. I also understand that having an anonymous person do a mini-tour and discussion of your art could be uhh possibly odd. If anything, keep being cool and doing what you love!!! It's awesome!!!!

thank you for appreciating my art of vincent, i usually mention this but a lot of times i mostly draw inspired by his music rather than him as an internet personality which is why i end up making these edgy pieces but in general he does mean a lot to me in the most normal appreciate way possible both as a musician and as a streamer, i try not to streamline the way i draw him too much so im glad the small details are noticeable

i can confirm i get inspired (and always have been honesly) by kaneoya sachiko's works if it wasnt obvious enough but i am also happy to hear that i can give off a similar vibe, not because i want to give off the exact specific vibes of her artwork but rather some of similar tones and types; as for the other thing that actually isnt on purpose, id have to look into artwork from that period but thats one hell of a compliment tbh

im really happy to hear that you have been around for a while, i cannot know since when but either way it means a lot that someone would take the time to not just point out my improvement but also to just stay around because they like what i do, i personally feel like ive improved especially in colors like you mentioned but its always better and helpful to hear it from someone else too, i hope that with college i can become better at art too

This entry was very interesting to me /pos I had inklings, I had leanings, I was percolating, but what really got me thinking was your difficulty with being appreciated and how Sam Collins would nip that shit in the bud.

Sam is an aggressive man in notable ways- he’s quiet but he’s not subdued, you feel me? He can be polite and introverted, but he wouldn’t entertain something that doesn’t make sense or devalues the people he cares about. Like, “You think you’re undeserving? What, you think me and mine don’t have the good sense to decide that on our own? That’s a load of horseshit.” He’s an aggressively loving mother hen of a friend and lover, and he would not tolerate that.

There’s also some lovely, lighter notes that make me think y’all would be cute together. Your love of true crime amuses me because I think Sam Collins hates that stuff but in a fun way. Like, he watched the Netflix documentaries with you and makes little faces the whole time, questions your sanity as affectionately as possible. Your daydreams of ballroom dancing also works in that favor because man is a Duke; he can make those dreams real at the Summit.

David was in my top three picks for the poll and I was gutted that he didn’t seem to get very high - but i think that’s coz it was the first video, so maybe people had forgotten about it/it wasn’t as much in the forefront of the majority’s minds by the time the poll was released. Pretty much no negative thoughts.

WE NEED MORE CUTE 7/11 DATES OKAY PLEASE ITS SO SWEET. Ofc the snack puns coming in Clutch ugh i loved those. My only issue (“issue”) was literally the same as why i wasn’t over the moon when sam was voted for the ba (sue me. i liked it anyway) and that was just that we had a vincent one a few months ago, and also a pretty pre-sexual vid after that. Not too much to say considering I started this post as a way to lightly complain about the poll results, and Lasky wasn’t on the poll, obviously. Regardless, I’m glad this video went the way it did, I think we’ve seen a lot of lasko being quick to jump the proverbial gun in the last few years, with his non-canon vids, and hooking up with gavin, etc, so it was nice to see him break away from that and ask to move slower coz hell yeah dude, progress and growth!! and i think it shows how much he wants the relationship to be more natural, and not racing ahead, even if he does in part want that - it was sweet as hell.

Lots of people (including me, ngl) wanted more of the dragon - but erik’s not about to do weird fantasy not-fully-bestiality-esque stuff guys - and i’m pretty sure I only liked it coz cmon it’s erik doing another hot voice, im gonna be down horrendous BUT NOT FOR AN ACTUAL DRAGON. i am Not donkey from Shrek. And yeah, i know Eli’s powers can be kinda limiting with what they can bring to the (pun not intended) sex-table, but does all of his spicy stuff have to be in a Dreamscape? idk.

My Second Favourite Hands Down. How people picked Sam over riding Ash in the front seat of a rental, i’ll never understand /lh the horn may make me jump every time, but it’s okay, there’s repentance in the tongue kissing, and i stand by that, it was the best bit (or one of the best bits), No Criticisms (except Ash please don’t have sex in a RENTAL. wait until you get to a bedroom at least PLEASE-)

GUY:

Again, i liked it but not as much. I love Guy, he’s one of my favourites, i can’t really say why i didn’t like this video as much as I normally would, maybe the concept just wasn’t rolling with me as well - the whole idea of post-concert seemed vaguely random, but you could argue that about all of these, so it doesn’t count. did anyone else see this or was it just me, coz if it is then i will quietly wave my flag of solidarity from my hole in the ground where nobody can see it.

ANTON:

I voted Anton. It was the sadness with the feelings and the horniness spicyness towards the end, ugh I loved it, Anton come home from war soon please (im terrified he might die because despite everything, nothing Death Related had happened in project meridian yet, and let’s face it, it’s gonna.) - it was nice seeing a different but also soothing take on the “your lover is leaving for an indefinite amount of time” thing, and how it changed in comparison to James’ video on it. Anton deserved the continuation okay. No aggression though.

SAM:

This is where I might get more argumentative because I was so disappointed that Sam won the poll, even though I love sammy. It seemed slightly out of character?? with everything we know about Sam, it just seems so unlikely that he would go to a club, let alone start getting, uh, “busy” n shit while at one. he’s not a big fan of PDA because of his past, in my opinion, and i think overall he’s very private, so the setting and stuff just seemed out of place, it would’ve made more sense for Milo’s or smth to be set there - but hell I can’t tell erik how to write his own characters lmao - and still, the ba was Great. with a capital G.

MILO:

I fell asleep listening to this the first couple of times, which says a lot already. The sensual massage trope has been used as a gateway to presumably spicy off-screen things before (Aaron’s HBW ‘21, Asher’s HBS ‘22) but idky it wasn’t hitting as well as it normally does, maybe it’s wearing thin on my brain. ofc it’s redacted content so i’m gonna eat it up like it’s ass (crude but true) but i listened to it through without falling asleep and was like “yeah it’s good, i like it, but also eh,,,” - like i mentioned, it would’ve made more sense to me if Milo’s and Sam’s were swapped around - anyone agree?

On any area of the body. The most common areas were private areas, and even in 3000bce pubic hair was seen as uncivilized.

1800s it seemed like only wealthy women could bother with it, which I'm going to assume was the same case for 1700s

Less body hair shares that you had money. But in most cases bc of the kind of clothing, it's how we view shaving our eyebrows

Napoleon has probably never considered the thought. But he will 100% not stop feeling your legs after you shave

Speaking of Ms. Peter Lorre fish, Slippy Lotte. I have some ideas for her:

- Is the local sea weed dealer. Probably grows her own sea weed. Botany is her thing after all <3

Probably gives Slappy cat nip tho. She knows his tastes very well.

- I REALLY want her to be friends with Squidabeth. They'd be besties and Slippy would often stop by The Night Patty restaurant to get a night patty but also to see her pal Squidabeth. If it's a slow work day then they'd chat. They get along very well and she finds Slippy a very cute silly little thing. I can also see them hanging out gal pals style whilst also getting high as a kite. Squidabeth really gets her into the night life of Bikini Bottom <3

I think Leonard has a massive bias towards her. Slappy doing something weird - somewhat horrified but accepts it. Is polite about it and tries his best to be open minded about it.

Slippy does something weird- ✨💞💖 Loves it with his WHOLE HEART✨✨✨ will literally die from it.

This is the face he dreams of when he sleeps at night.

- Slippy thinks Leonard is a very nice friend <3 she likes him a lot. Leonard thinks of himself as that depressed 19th century poet type and he's just writhing with his feelings. He adores her but also doesn't want to betray his dearest friend Laszlo. So he's stuck in this state of suffering while eating ice cream and being comforted by his 6 snails when he's alone but also losing his shit from adoration when she does anything weird. Don't mind Leonard. He thinks he can telepathically let her know what he feels through longing gazes. In other words, he's dumb. They all are. Just a different flavor each. Slippy and Slappy love and value him a lot as a friend and neither suspects a thing of him.

- that being said, Slippy and Leonard hang out often. He likes taking her to events. She always manages to mess up at events and cause chaos. Which is also something Slappy does. But in Leonard's case he LOVES IT so much he might die from it. He probably did die once or twice from it. Don't worry she revived him. Slappy taught her some necromancy.

- probably does enjoy bug eating with Slappy. She doesn't need to. She isn't undead like her bf but sh sees he likes it very much and wants to try herself. They have dates enjoying fancy maggot cheeses and beetlejuice wines. It's the height of luxury for them. She gifted him chocolate covered beetles before.

- I know most folks liken Slappy being into arson but that feels more like a Slippy thing. She plays with matches. She burnt an opera house down when Leonard brought her along. She finds fire quite entertaining. Her home is covered with candles. Its very much a fire hazard.

- Slippy's neighbors are a vampire couple. The ladies often ask Slippy to run errands for them. They claim they have a medical condition where they're allergic to the sun or that they're allergic to crowds or whatever. So Slippy helps them out. They need sugar? She gets them sugar! They need some evil magical amulet? She gets them said amulet! They need a new blood from the local blood drive? She gets it for them! She never suspects a thing <3 she just thinks they're a very cute and kind couple and so she's always happy to help! She probably house sat for them. Might have came across their room where they do ritual sacrifices. She thinks the room is so pretty and she applaudes them for their tastes in interior design :) she admires them so much and she has immense respect for them.

- probably is the one teaching Slappy about the modern world. I like to imagine Slappy has been alive for a loong time but is often kept up in the castle so he isn't exactly familiar with technology. She helps him and teaches him. She teaches him to drive (he can never learn) she drives him whenever he needs it. She teaches him how to use a computer and how to play video games. He never really ""gets it"" but slippy's alright with it. She's a pretty ideal teacher for everything except swimming.

- Fellow clown enjoyer. She ADORES clowns and finds them so cute <3 she's always asking Slappy if she could adopt one! Leonard would probably get her some. Slippy sets them free once she realizes they're sentient beings. I think after that, Leonard would opt to paint pictures of clowns for her which decorated all over her house.

- Slippy's car is a clown car (that she stole). Its pretty nice. She decorated the inside with snail themed things. Imagine her driving Leonard and Slappy to the opera house in this cat themed clown car.

- fellow enjoyer of 80s bubblegum pop. Idk why but I see it.

- somewhat of a kleptomaniac. I dont think she'd steal things from stores. That's too easy. She'd see random things left outside. Road signs or traffic cones or fences. That's her thing. She'd be like "oh why is this left out here? Its still pretty good.. Oh well I'll give it a nice home". I feel like she almost gets in trouble for it but Leonard always ends up paying off the owners so she doesn't get in trouble. This is also how she ended up with so many pets.

I think once Leonard was a little sad about a painting he couldn't buy (too pricy) so Slippy looked at it like "oh but its here. Nobody here seems to own it" she ended up stealing it and giving it to him. Unless said unattended object has a CLEAR and distinct price tag, she just assumes its trash that nobody wants so she takes it. Why waste perfectly good items.

- collector of rocks! She collects all sorts of rocks. And plenty of things that are very much not rocks. Pieces of bones, teeth, paper clips, shards of glass, broken pieces of porcelain, expensive jewels, evil enchanted amulet. She thinks they're all rocks and she loves them very much. She very much has a crow thing to her so she ends up collecting anything shiny. She could be a master jewel thief if she really wanted to. Sometimes Slappy gifts her rocks. They're actually pieces of bone. Sometimes Leonard gifts her rocks but they're expensive jewels. In her heart rocks are rocks <3 they're all special to her <3

- fellow lip gloss eater. She just does it. Slappy also does it too. They taste test lip glosses together. Fun time. Probably got kicked out of Lady Upturn's department store for eating the lipsticks.

- can give fortunes but for very mundane things. She has dreams of the future but nothing of interest. Your fortune is like "oh you'll burn a krabby patty on Tuesday the 15th" and it ends up happening. Nothing special but somehow she does it. She doesn't think she's telling the future. She thinks they're just dreams but she likes telling the people who shows up in her dreams about them. Its only after the fortune happens when said people realize she was actually telling their fortune and they try to ask her about it. She doesn't get what they're talking about. She'd like "oh that's nice :)".

Once in a while she might see someone walk into her pet shop and she casually says "you're going to die :)" and they won't understand until it's too late. She doesn't undedstand it at all herself since she said it on autopilot but her bf is standing outside looking for food for his master.

- can't cook. You will be poisoned. Unless you want to dine on toxic sludge, then never accept her cooking. Slappy doesn't mind since he's already undead and a garbage disposal. Leonard is immune to poison on the sheer power of LOVE (he suffers later in the bathroom, small sacrifice for her tho)

- eats food in illegal ways. Eats kitkat sideways and all that sort of horror. Eats bubblegum too. Doesn't help that Laszlo encourages and copies her. They're a trouble making duo.

- probably has eaten grass before. She uses it like herbs. Out of cilantro? When grass grows for free outside? Smh

- probably forages. Doesn't really care about which plants are safe and unsafe to eat. Plants are plants to her so uhh prepare to be tripping on mushrooms later. I think that's part of the appeal of her cooking.

- grows her own food too. She's good at botany and taking care of plants. The problem is, she's not growing any vegetable you've heard of (if they are vegetable in the first place). The plants will likely try to eat you first tbh.

- Has a pensiont for smelly weird and exotic plants. She thinks they're neat. Leonard gets her more rare species of plants. Her plants really like chum for some reason.

- probably has a book club. Her book selection is incomprehensible. She's probably the only person who understands Ulysses but she won't answer your questions about the book.

- her clothes are second hand. She ""thrifts"" them. You probably know how she actually acquired them.

- all this makes her sound frugal. Nah she splurges on her pets. She just finds random objects she collect to be more interesting than stuff she finds in stores. But her pets live like kings 👌

- I feel like she does know about Slappy's thing for nosferatu. I don't she actually knows Nosferatu is a vampire. She assumes him to have special needs similar to her vampire neighbors. Sun allergies and all that. Still she gives Laszlo lessons on how to woo Nosferatu and how to impress him. Somehow I think she's fine with laszlo not being so affectionate with her. Its just his thing and she respects that. Or she views it as him playing hard to get. Or both.

Tbh I don't think she 100% gets that he ditched her in Slappy Daze. Poor thing.

- enjoyer of slapstick and black and white romance movies. Best of both worlds when combined. Of course slappy is probably an enjoys the same movies so they enjoy going to the movies together a lot <3 I think they like it too much and they start quoting the movies together and being the most annoying couple alive <3

They drag Leonard along which is just TORTURE for him. Particularly the romance movies. Moments that feel like a knife in the stomach for him. But he enjoys it. Probably bawls his eyes out and slippy and slappy are like "oh he must really like it :) " very clueless about what's actually going on.

- slippy doesn't pick up on social cues at all. Can't read the room at all. Says things she shouldn't, touches priceless objects she shouldn't. Unless given very clear and straight forward instructions sometimes she doesn't get it much. That's alright because her friends are either already like that or are accepting of that traits and politely helps her out when she needs it.

- can scale buildings like a lizard. No particular reason for this one.

- slappy probably comes to her for blood for his master. As in Slippy can easily steal blood from the blood from the blood bank. She doesn't think of it as stealing. Shes just borrowing. Slippy and Leonard are the only people Laszlo wouldn't sell out to Nosferatu. But he avoids them making such an acquaintance with Nosferatu just to be safe. Nosferatu does already know of them and find the trio humorous. He spares them because they're funny to watch.

- is banned from several establishments. She just is.

- slippy gives Slappy shrooms so he can meet his sleep paralysis demon daughters again <3 she joins in too! :D

The Selected Poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay by, well, her (I love the simplicity and sharpness of her voice, two of the three long-form poems at the very beginning made me SOB and then the rest were just very solidly good and precious to me)

Babette's Feast (beautiful luminous never been done before)

Ponyo (rewatched after many years, still brings me unending light)

The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness (what I consider the better of the two Ghibli docs on HBO, and it may only be dear to me because it covers the development of The Wind Rises, but it left me with a weird sorrowful achey peace in my heart)

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (I saw this with friends and I very much think you should see this with a buddy, I had a great time cackling and gasping with them over it)

Games:

Crystal Project (an as-open-world-as-you-can-make-it spiritual-successor-to-classic-JRPGs game that I was enveloped by for the better part of January and the beginning of this month. It has a great deal of quality of life things that are great for me who just likes to climb cliffs and fly over the sea, and the story was just spare and sweet enough for my taste 4.5/5)

The Last Campfire (a short and sweet puzzle-y game about the process of letting go and learning to say goodbye that is very well suited to the state I'm in currently 3.9/5)

A Space for the Unbound (a little indie that's heavily story-based; I watched a playthrough of this and unfortunately was already miserable enough that it didn't quite devastate me as normally it would have but I truly have been thinking about it constantly ever since 3.75/5)

CrossCode (for full clarity, I'm still in the midst of playing this, but I adore the main character and I think the friendships in it are so so so sweet and the conversations that they have about the game they're in get to me because I'm like hey I'VE said that!!! Issa little ARPG about a fictional MMO and the players in it and the art is GREAT 4/5 so far I'm deeply invested in it)

It took me 7 years to find out why am I drawn towards melancholy!

Yes I got a hint around mid 2016 that i kinda like grief. I eventually forgot about it but around 2018 it was hence proved.

I thought maybe something is wrong with me. Like why would I like mourning or you know sadness? But i did like tho.

That's why I never searched about it, thinking I wouldn't get any answers or if I ask people will call me stupid!

During the lockdown, hearing all the news got me scared but it was kinda like peaceful? Idk tbh. But it was damn dangerous. I was scared of myself, my thoughts but I loved them at the same time?

I took a test, a yr ago or so, what you are made up of or smth like that, my results was- Melancholy! I found the explanation relatable & tbh i was happy that that thing, that word came for the result?! I took the screenshot of it.

Last month while going through my gallery, i found that ss and read it, again finding some kind of relief like yeah that's me! But then i tried stopping my thoughts, like no I don't wanna go back in that phase again! BUT I WANT TO! WHY? i was so confused ・⁠～⁠・

Recently I finally found the courage and wrote down all my feeling & thoughts & weird strange words which i feel like are mine! Or like I'm those! Like that's so me!

The words are : Melancholy, grief, death, gloomy, dark, heavy rain, thunder, black clouds, sadness, cry, pain, mourning, dense forest, white lotus.

There were many art forms which captured me as a whole but they were not bright or happy ones- i kinda find those boring no offense, I liked Vincent Van Gogh's work but after finding out the state he was in while he created those masterpieces, I loved them! Related to it like never before! No, I'm not crazy. Sorry not sorry but even i don't know why I'm like this cue the given screenshots!

And it's not like I'm all those words, no I'm much more than that and I love seeing people happy and think good for them too! This is just a part of me, my personality, which i hv never talked about before to anyone, as maybe i myself was ashamed of myself but ig it comes with being a highly sensitive emphatic introverted person:)

I don't remember what my personality type is but these above ss are of INFP & INFJ personality. But they have also mentioned that not all FP's & FJ's experience this, and many others do who are not FP's & FJ's.

P.s. I came to know a word like melancholy even exists in 2017 doing Merchent of Venice. So, thanks Shakespeare;)
