"Yes." You shyly answered. He leaned in ever so slightly and gently cupped your face. Seungcheol realized what he was doing, and leapt back. You scooted closer to his embrace. "Do I make you nervous, Cheol?" The nickname sounded sweet from your mouth.

"How can I not be nervous, when you're so cute?" God, being your fake boyfriend was the hardest thing he's signed up for. It was harder than the night he crammed for his microeconomics final. It was harder than when he had to break up with his girlfriend. Then when he learned to cook for the first time.

But you were perfect, and his time was yours to spend, regardless of how difficult it is to compose the inner feelings ripping at the seams.

Seungcheol stood right outside your door, holding a plastic bag. A quick peek inside revealed pre-made ramyun and orange juice.

"We'd be lying to her even if you weren't sick and went to dinner," Seungcheol made his way inside and took out the ramyun packets on the counter. "Besides, I didn't want to ignore you if you were sick." A hint of warmth in his voice distracts you from the suddenness of his intrusion.

You clear your throat and close the door. Seungcheol fiddles with the stove's control panel to get the water hot enough.

"Our contract says you can't be in my apartment."

"Our contract also says no physical touch," Seungcheol plainly remarked, the sting of the kiss coming back once more. How were you going to tell him that you subconsciously touched your bottom lip to remember how soft he was?

"Touche."

Seungcheol switches the conversation topic. "Why didn't you call?" He didn't turn to you, but in the short span of knowing him, Seungcheol was trying his best not to seem weak.

"I thought you hated me."

"Y'know that's impossible for me to do," Seungcheol turns to you. "Pass me the scissors," you nod and quickly take a pair out of a drawer. Seungcheol takes the scissors and snips off the plastic. Even when you two aren't talking about much your chemistry is palpable. Those scissors you gave him probably would have broken in an attempt to cut the tension.

"I just, I feel so ashamed of using you," You sighed. "One second I wanna keep things professional, putting all my effort into a lame Word document slash contract. But the more I got to know you, it became harder to contain myself," You notice the ramyun is lacking spice, so you bring over a Buldak sauce bottle to squeeze in. "You're nothing like other guys in my life. You're dependable, I can trust you even when things go bad. "You wanna know why I said yes when you asked me this whole thing?" You nod. "I like you. I wanted an excuse to be with you. Even if we were gonna be just friends,"

"But I made you miserable in the process!" You raised your voice. "I was so desperate to make my parents happy I didn't take into consideration what you felt."

"And that's your biggest problem, sweetheart," Seungcheol finally got away from the pot and laid out two bowls. You took over and cracked an egg into the red broth. "You were so caught up in your whole desire to look perfect, to your parents, to me, that you forgot about yourself."

You feel a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist and Seungcheol's face rests in the crook of your neck. "You never called because you were afraid you'd look stupid, right?"

"No," You shook your head, the spicy mixture wafting in your face and causing tears to prick. "I was worried because you make me feel safe. So safe I lose control. I'm not used to feeling safe, most of the time I focus on making others feel safe," Seungcheol kisses the tears that roll down your face. "You should have kissed me for longer,"

"I know." You laughed. "I should have made you my actual boyfriend,"

"It's not too late for that."

You wanted your relationship with Seungcheol to be true. Having somebody as reliable as him as your boyfriend? It would be a dream come true.

"The question is, do you want it to be my real boyfriend after how I treated you?" "Let's give it a shot. We did do well as a fake couple, so why not as a real one?" You took a spoonful of broth to Seungcheol's mouth and he gingerly slurped on it.

Psych Abolition Chat Sessions- Fall 2024

As many of you know, I have been hosting Zoom meetings for psych abolitionists or interested parties to come together, chat, collaborate, etc since the beginning of this summer. Over the last several weeks, those chats have taken the form of informational sessions regarding harm reduction on various topics. I have been so delighted to be able to share my thoughts about these issues with you all, but I'm equally excited to transition back into a more collaborative format for the next set of sessions.

Given my capacity for the semester, my goal is to hold chats similar to the first set of sessions: open spaces to discuss psych abolition + provide community for abolitionists, as well as inspiring collaborative work amongst us all. While people are encouraged to come + contribute, 'lurking' (aka camera off, no speaking) is also encouraged! Any way that you want to show up is okay- we regularly have people attend who do not engage at all, or only engage in the chat. Chat messages are read aloud by me to ensure that chat participants feel equally included in the group.

A reminder to anyone who wants to attend that under no circumstances may anyone contact the authorities as a result of anything spoken about during the Zoom. Free discussion of self-injury + suicidality + substance use are expected without fear of being “crisis” intervened upon. That being said, the goal of these chats is not necessarily to be a support group but more to talk about psychiatric abolition, build community, + increase knowledge.

You always make sure to do something where everyone is enjoying the date.

Kaito and Luca are the ones around you the most during school hours. They are always so protective of you and don't take shit from anyone. Someone insulted you? Lucas will defend your honor. You feel lonely? Kaito is currently running towards your location.

Jin and Tohma though, they are both on another level. They act and treat you mostly the same as they always did but if you look closer, you'll see small things that they'll do for you. For example, You just returned from giving papers to the chancellor and there they are, sitting at a table with your favorite snacks and tea/drink you like.

- Vagastrom -

Date planning is mostly picked out by either Leo or Sho. Alan has attempted but poor sweet himbo has no idea what he's doing. Leo usually takes the lead on what to do but Sho picks out food spots. Alan just likes to tag along and enjoys seeing the three of you happy. If you all somehow get separated, please hope Alan isn't alone otherwise you all have to decipher his texts on where he's at.

Leo and Sho are menaces to society. They love teasing you separately but together? Different story. Leo of course loves flaunting online about you two dating(he already was but now it's true). Sho is a secret sweetheart. He loves when you stop by his food truck and even makes sure to save you your favorite drink when you order.

Poor Alan. I imagine that even in a relationship, he still berates himself and holds back because he's scared to hurt you in any way. It takes you, Leo, and Sho to get him to see that it's okay. Other than that, Alan looks scary but he cares a lot about you. Please hold his hand, he will turn into mush if you do-

Dates are always different. Sometimes you're enjoying having a picnic and sometimes you're watch movies. Once it was too late to go out and do anything so you all(Mainly you and Haru)built a blanket fort. Ren picked out a few movies you all could watch

Towa koala clings to you or makes you wrap your arms and legs around him. Personal space? What's that?? Sometimes he'll drag Haru into the mix too. You can't even step foot into Jabberwock without getting tackled by him. Ren on the other hand likes his one on one time with you and shows his affection privately. He'll make small gestures like saving you a spot at the restaurant or showing you the best ways to level up a character.

Haru is a big sweetheart. He'll still ask for your help but on occasion, he'll zoom past you and give a quick smooch on the cheek. He secretly loves watching you be around Towa and Ren, It makes him feel very happy seeing you all interact. Be prepared to raise a round rabbit creature with him! Peekaboo is now your son and you must raise the round boi with Haru.

SWEET. DATES. I can not stress enough how relaxing and mundane their dates would be. If you ever need to destress, they are right there for you. If you're ever feeling stressed, head over to Hotarubi and they will pamper you. Going on walks around the dorm or just sitting eating snacks seems, they love it and spending time with you on top of that? Perfect.

Haku is as flirtatious as ever, that won't ever change except now he's more touchy. You'll be focused on writing and he'll just stare at you before playing with your hair or running a finger over your cheek. He'll just smile at you while you sit there confused. Zenji, the sweet romantic, has so many things planned for his dear. He will stop by your dorm once in awhile to make sure his dear partner is doing okay, of course he'll give you space when you ask too! Be prepared to be romanced by song

Subaru, oh sweet Subaru. He is so scared of you. He adores and loves you of course! But he is terrified to mess things up so please be ready to remind him at times you love him too. The first time he accidentally read your thoughts, he felt so bad that he kept his distance for a while. But when you told him it was okay and to listen again, he heard that you cared for him and all he could do was hug you tightly.

One word. Chaos. 2 of them know how dates are supposed to go and one doesn't even know what a date is. Besides that, it's quite the adventure when it comes to going out with the three of them. Rui is the expert here so most of the dates are planned by him. Most of the time it's Rui and Edward watching you and Lyca run around but they don't mind.

Rui is a simp for you. Period. Having someone who cares about him, curse and all, is all he could ever ask for. He's still flirty of course but only for you, he's your number 1 fan(He would say that). Lyca has no fucking clue on relationships but he doesn't care. He is so protective of you that he'll growl if anyone even looks at you funny. He tries to carry you places and he says it's because you're slow but really he likes holding you and having your smell close

These 2 have no idea what they're doing so you're going to have to be the one to suggest any sort of date and even when you do, you get a flustered Yuri and a confused Jiro. Yuri has even dragged Jiro to help him pick an outfit while Jiro is already ready to go. Dates remain mostly small and relaxing. A museum or an aquarium is the main spot for these 2, Be ready to get an earful of knowledge though.

At the times you are at mortkranken, you basically follow Yuri and Jiro around the whole time. If you get sidetracked or lost, Yuri panics where you could have gone. While he panics, Jiro has already texted you asking where you went. Jiro still loves scaring you but you'll get a kiss on the forehead afterwards at least, He loves teasing you. He holds your hand every chance he can get.

Yuri demands attention from you all the time. Be ready for the biggest tsundere ever because even when dating, this man will still act like he isn't looking at your stupid adorable face. You once wrapped your arms around him and he lectured you about it but when you tried to pull away, he tightened your arms around him and huffed.

Sho spends his lunch break with you and Subaru. Sometimes Leo and/or Lyca will join.

→ → → i've got an ask a while ago asking about my editing process so here it is! my 07-step tutorial for editing sims screenshots 💫

01 → preparing your canvas

i always take my screenshots in 3 seperate images like shown in the picture above - it gives me a bigger canvas size to work on.

i extend the canvas and line them up on top of each other - decreasing the transparency and zooming in helps to see where each image has to go.

erase all the visible hard edges with a soft round brush and you're good to go.

02 → liquify

under filter > liquify fix any hard edges that are meant to be smooth. i really take my time with this since this makes a huge difference!

03 → skin & shadow smoothing

i duplicate the layer and use the noise > dust and scratch filter with a layer mask

you can also go in and use the blur > surface blur fliter if it's not smooth enough. next i create the layer mask:

afterwards i tend to add a tiny amount of noise on the smoothing layer - i feel like it makes everything blend together a bit better.

you can also obviously lower the opacity if it's too smooth for your liking. i feel like the smoothing wasn't really nessecary in this screenshot but sometimes (especially using relight) the shadows can look a bit pixelated. using this technique helps fixing that issue with little effort.

04 → painting highlights

next i paint highlights onto the skin. i create a new layer and start painting by using a soft round brush that's around 5-20 px big, on 1-2% opacity and 100% flow. i paint the highlights matching the existing light source:

to pick the right color for my highlights i usually pick the lightest skin color on the screenshot and go a little bit lighter and warmer. it all depends on your screenshot and your lighting though!

05 → painting shadows

occasionally i also paint shadows onto the screenshot! first i select the area i want to paint in and then use a black soft round brush, that's around 100-500 px big, on 5-10% opacity and 100% flow. i just do a couple of clicks and just roughly add shadows where it's nessecary

06 → optimizing your image

the last step is to resize your image to a fitting layout using a tumblr image size guide.

07 → end!

For the most probably outcome in this situation, with the Four of Wands I was drawn to look up the astrological correspondence of the card and I got Venus in Aries, which is quite funny since Venus is currently in Aries until April 29th 2024 (writing this on the 23rd). I don't necessarily think this means everyone will find an outcome within the next few days, however, it does point out at changes happening presently, or as a direct result of this Venus in Aries season. Which again puts the idea of acting and stop wasting time.

It's also fun because it points at a very fiery approach to love, much like what the Knight of Wands was suggesting. Instead of worrying whether they love you or not, whether you should move on or not, you're being advised to go and find out. With the 4 of Wands as this placement in the tarot, there is an idea of celebration and coming together. For the month of June, I want to celebrate love and the beautiful women of our most loved franchise. I spent some time thinking about not only how I could do it, but how I can encourage others to join me. For the month of June, I will be posting a short something daily celebrating WLW love. I want to make a book which will look like a master list. You will write a one shot, drabble, or create a moodboard, and post it on June 25th. I do, every day. I was shooting a commercial the other day, and one of the staff members recognized me. During the early stages of the broadcast, I wasn't recognized much, but now there are crowds of people wherever I go. It's definitely a new experience (haha).

You're currently in the 78th rank. Do you think you'll reach the top 20 soon?

Thank you for putting it that way. I would like to reach the top 20, but I'll leave the choice to the audience.

You have many titles, do you have a favorite?

I read in a recent article that I was the "Blocell brand reputation ranking #1" - that's my favorite so far, because it makes me feel like all those days of shooting wasn't for nothing.

What do you think is your charm?

I can't really think of any, because I think I have more flaws (haha), but... hmm, I suppose the fans mention my snaggletooth a lot. I think my looks are quite average, but many of my fans remember me by my teeth.

Do you have a special secret for taking such perfect photos in your shoots?

I like to read up on the brand the day before the shoot. That way I can understand the directions clearly during the shoot. I think it's a basic requirement for a model to have an understanding of the brand. I also think it's important to take care of myself regularly.

What are your recent interests?

I'm only thinking about the next round. I can't stop, really. I try not to get too emotional... but thinking about how I'll be on stage for the first time with a childhood friend makes me want to do my best. I'm sure he's worked hard to come this far, and I hope he feels the same way.

What is your ideal type? Many segyein fans want to know!

I don't really have a type. I've never thought about it. But I guess there is one thing... No, never mind. (haha)

What does your normal day look like?

It hasn't changed much since my time in Anakt Garden. I guess I have a schedule now instead of classes. I work out in the mornings, and I like to read classics during my free time between shoots.

You must've been quite popular at Anakt Garden.

Not really, no. I've been asked out a couple of times, but I wasn't that popular. I did have a lot of friends, though.

Are you close with Till?

I'm not sure what defines "close." (haha) We were fine, I guess. That's about it.

What is your favorite part in round 3?

Towards the end of the chorus when the camera zooms in. I was actually quite startled, but thankfully it doesn't show in the clip. I always tell myself that I need to get used to the stage, but running simulations in my mind is never the same as the actual thing.

Did you have any memorable instances while preparing for this round?

I remember when I first tried on the costume. You know that belt on my thigh? It was quite heavy, so I thought to myself, "can I really wear this on stage?" I'm thinking of asking them for a lighter costume next time.

Speaking of the next round, how are you preparing for your performance with Till?

I'll have to do my best somehow... and do a good job. They say Till's a genius, so I'm sure it won't be easy to beat him. But I'll try my best anyway, like I always have.

Do you think you'll win?

How is your relationship with your guardian?

Not bad. It's more of a business relationship, really. But I'm always thankful that they took me in. I try to be careful wherever I go, since they're quite well known (haha).

Hey! I really adore the way you draw textures, as they usually fit with the vanilla art style flawlessly, and wanted to ask for advice. I want to make addons/mods, and maybe a full texture pack someday, but my textures always end up looking kind of flat, lack depth, and look weird when next to vanilla stuff.

Thank you so much :3 as far as advice, I'm afraid I've been doing pixel art for ~15 years now so unfortunately a lot of it is just experience... I do have some tips though! but I am in no place to do a full tutorial at the moment.

Prerequisite: Use paint dot net. It's super beginner friendly, since it's based off of Paint, and it's what has been used for Minecraft textures since the very beginning.

First off, you want to have a block-out palette! For me, it's these 5 colours here:

From here, you'll want to go darkest to lightest; use the darkest tone to outline, then fill in with the 4th tone. Eventually, you'll want to make it so that there are 2-3 outline tones, from darkest to lightest, in accordance to however you're shading. Anything overlapping with the main shape should not use the darkest two tones!

Then you'll want to hit the bright spots not with your mid-tone or your highlight, but with your second lightest tone! This way, you leave room to highlight And shade your highlights. You've effectively made 5 different palettes to use to shade different parts (1-2, 1-2-3, 2-3-4, 3-4-5, 4-5). Whenever you feel like you're ready, switch out this palette for something more in line with what you're doing- depending on what material you're going for, this can happen super early on or way late. Whenever I do something Metallic, I like to switch to a gold palette as soon as possible.

Another thing to keep in mind is minecraft's palette limitations! Generally speaking, try to keep textures to 5-9 colours, filling in between as needed. If you use more base colours, feel free to expand, but do not go over 15 if you can help it. A good rule of thumb for adding additional colours is that you should try to limit them to 3 tones.

When choosing a palette, there's no problem with going with any pre-existing item's colours! In fact, this can be super helpful even when you want to use your own colours, just as a reference.

When you do want to make your own palette, my advice is to choose a strong colour, any hue, saturation in the 60-80 range, value in the 70-90 range. To get strong shading in your palette, drop the value by ~5, increase the saturation by ~5, and shift the hue towards blue by ~5. Do this each time from your base colour. Go in the opposite direction to Increase the perceived brightness. Here, I started with the 5th tone.

Obviously, you can tweak these to your liking; your outline colours should end up a lot darker than this generally speaking, and you might want to ramp all the way up to white for your highlights. You'll also generally want your outline colour to end up with like, max 30 Value & at Full Saturation, with your highlight colour at 100 Value & ~50 saturation if you aren't going for Full White. Lets see what that might look like after changing the most extreme values & then blending accordingly.

At the end of the day, my biggest tips are 1) to look at references constantly in both minecraft's existing sprites and other people's sprites! Take what you like, improve on it where you think it could use improvements. & 2) always zoom out! Even if a texture is perfect, if you've been staring at it too long so up close, it's going to feel weird. Minecraft's most common GUI scale is 2x, so scale the image on your screen somewhere where each pixel is exactly 2x2 and you'll get a good feel for how it'll actually look in-game.

One last tip on a more advanced level: if you're using multiple different base colours, always shift to grayscale very often. Your tones should look indistinguishable in grayscale so that you know that the shapes themselves are strong enough to warrant the multiple colours. This is also very good for accessibility!

while this episode focuses on bua, we still get a lot of glimpses into Fou4Mod x Chian relationship and babbin feelings. the scene in internet cafe lasts a bit over 2 mins and we only get to see that babbin is also with them too only in last 10 or so seconds.

camera has to move to allow babbin into their world and even then he is still alone in the framing.

even when he decides to leave, he is barely visible because chian covers significant amount of framing (something something about how much space chian takes up in 4mod's life, the space that babbin used to occupy).

one thing that GB does and i absolutely love it, is allowing the characters to be full body on screen and taking up little fragment of it. they are dominated by environment around them that is out of their control.

Babbin would go unnoticeable, yet another teen sitting on staircase despite the beanbags available, we all had seen or been there but he exists in a series and the staircase leads our eyes into him.

early into the ep we get to see bua outside of social media and making tiktoks with chian. the camera it's not in usual field of view, it's zoomed in creating really specific looks that aren't often seen in films let alone dramas (top of my head i can think of intro to kdrama D.P.). Because of said camera zoom the scene looks dreamy, slightly off.

the staircase is usually full of people, it's inside of siamscape and it's basically a mall from what i checked out quickly.

bua is not in typical composition framing, he is slightly off what would rule of 3rds suggest (same with his shoes) an this is what creates the slightly off energy in this scene.

would you look at that another scene with bua and sianscape stairs:

here he is even smaller part of the screen. emptiness of the place is overwhelming, further emphasising his loneliness. in opposition to babbin scene on different staircase, here the lines don't lead us to bua but to babbin who came to comfort him (the parallels, no one came to him but he does go out look for bua).

scenes with bua's moms really hit the nail to coffin with how abandoned bua feels. he tries to do a tik tok with one of his moms. we are yet to be informed of existence another mom. there is quite a lot happening in the scene visually, so the other mom literally is just a background character, even in bua's life, despite (as we soon learn) her being main parent since they are divorced.

she crashes into only thing he seems to be enjoying and it leads to yet another fight. sheer lack of emotions on bua's face lets us know it's not the first time it happened.

during the fight we get to see such smart use of rule of thirds. we start of with jaded and slouched bua, crosspoint gives us focus on bua's eyes. composition also leaves space for his moms' argument, it's part of his life whether he wants it or not.

after that the scene is filled with bua's face, fitting beatifully into the composition boxes and cross point gives us important focus on his eye. which moment later becomes clear why.

once again she is secondary character. he tries to get her attention but even the bar guests give him more eye contact than her.

last scene of the post, i admit i had to educate myself a bit but here it is, the silliest scene in whole ep, the big stack of meat:

what we have here is called the pyramid composition, altho a classic concept in academia paintings, here it is used rather untypically.

usually the scene would be written into the pyramid composition like here:

(Rembrandt van Rijn, Storm on the Sea of Galilee)

the pyramid composition is used to avoid stagnant, one for each eye type of composition (composition where two similar object exist on same or similar plane). if we were to imagine this scene without the comically large meat stack, we would have an alright scene, properly set in rule of thirds.

but since the triangular meat is in the middle, acting as a foreground, we gain dynamic lines and keeps our eyes moving around and not just ping pong between boys.

or p'boss was feeling very silly that day and saw opportunity of big stack of meat between boys and went with it :P

How do you make your color palettes?? theyre literally gorgeous, I've been trying to do more bright "clashing" colors but they always clash too much

hi!! i may have posted this before so sorry if i sound like a broken record. i have three different ways i find palettes for my art.

method #1: sample from my own art is it because im lazy? yes!! a little bit!! but does it also work and give me a jumping off point for my art while keeping my art looking cohesive?? also yes!! i know of 4 recent paintings that all sampled and referenced each other. i'll post them below

if it aint broke dont fix it! also if youre experimenting with color and things just arent looking great go find an artist you like and sample from them. i dont condone copying or tracing art but drawing inspiration from your favorite artists by eyedropping their paintings so you can learn from them is in the okay zone for me.

method #2: just straight up using my favorite colors CONFIDENTLY i created this palette and i literally sample from it every time. i think a big part of making color look good is just being confident. if you zoom into some parts of my art there are definitely instances when things clash but i actually try to lean into those instances bc it creates a sort of unique eyestrain look. colors dont have to always play nice for a piece to work

i always use at least three colors from this palette to start (feel free to sample from this if youd like)

method 3 is kind of a last resort but it does the trick in a pinch: i take my reference picture and pump the colors WAYYYY up then sample from that. for this painting in particular i wanted to include a lot of green. admittedly green palettes are my worst enemy so i relied on this method to help me out here:

i like this method especially with my ref photos of nature because often i find that natural colors hardly clash and there are many harmonious undertones hidden beneath what at first glance looks like "just green" or "just brown" . pumping up the saturation with a photo editing tool brings all those hidden colors to the surface while keeping them somewhat harmonious

i hope this helps a little bit! ive never taken a color theory class or anything so i wish i could give more technical advice about color relationships and stuff like that but mostly i just.. use the colors that i love most, which may be a good place to start ⚡
