Review:

The quest continues as a Bone gatherer must find bones, a journey recorder must deal with getting their memories back, and complicated relationsihps and secret. Ash is a journey recorder who has lost her memories but is gaining them back, she is also dealing with the fact that she is in love with Kayling, her swash buckling sailor who is hiding his own secrets and the fact that she has to hide their relationship while on her journey with Marcus her friend. Marcus is the Bone gatherer who must journey to find the bones before it’s too late, he’s also heavily crushing on his best friend Ash and is jealous of Kaylin. Kaylin is actually part of the sea kingdom and was sent to kill Marcus, Ash and their crew but has saved them instead and has not told Ash the truth of who he is but he does know one thing, he is in love with her and willing to do anything for her. This is the second book in the series and honestly, it went absolutely nowhere and dragged on, I found myself not caring at all about any of the characters or the plot besides the one about Ash and Kaylin and even then it was SUPER SUPER light on the romance between them, like 2 moments tops in a 400+ page book.  The story definitely had a lot of unanswered questions and while I absolutely loved the first one this one fell flat and sadly made me disinterested in it. The story didn’t feel like anything happened despite it being so long and I really didn’t care for Marcus at all. While the first book had a great moving plot and interesting characters, this one just kind of did nothing and really just had me wishing it was over. This one did not feel like a romance read at all more like two moments happen and the rest of the book is Marcus just pining over Ash while Ash and Kaylin act like adults in their relationship.Sadly this one missed the mark for me, and suffered the issue that many sequels do: moving plot, character development, and just growth overall.

Se eu me senti assim antes acho que faz muito tempo que não acontece. A maior parte do tempo eu só quero me libertar chorando até me desidratar. E quando não estou chorando, quando acho que não tenho mais lágrimas elas surgem num estrondo como um tsunami no deserto. Mas a água salgada não me fertiliza. Eu sempre usei o choro para me aliviar mas agora eu me sinto ainda mais fraca  e nao tiro a agonia dentro do peito que sufoca. Eu acho que eu tô sentindo o que você,  minha melhor amiga disse e o que o tarot disse, insegurança. É tão devastadora que me consome e eu não consigo segurar eu tenho medo como eu nunca tive. Talvez seja porque parece que amo como nunca amei. Acho que a distância, o isolamento, e mais o Pânico que cobre minha família agora fazem com que eu me apegue ao medo específico de te perder, além do medo te perder alguém que amo não especificamente pelo vírus mas pelo coração. Todo dia é o mesmo assunto em todos os lugares, nas redes sociais, tv, em casa e com ele. E mesmo se não tivesse, seria impossível esquecer o porquê de estar presa aqui. Acredito que todos estejam no Pânico maior que o necessário no momento mas mesmo assim posso ser influenciada por ele muitas vezes. Pessoas tem jeitos diferentes de interpretar as coisas como diz você. E tem jeito diferente de sentir a dor também. E acho que por isso seja difícil entender a dor do outro. Eu acho que eu já disse que eu não aguento mais a palavra saudade. E na verdade eu tô pouco me fudendo para todas as outras coisas. Seja bar, faculdade, trabalho ou até mesmo um dogão. A minha saudade se concentra nele. Às vezes eu posso expressar isso me estressando também como acontece com ele mas a maioria das vezes é chorando muitas e muitas vezes longe ou numa ligação. Quando vem eu não consigo me controlar. E a cada dia a esperança diminui. Eu sei que eu o amo tanto que eu nunca tive tão segura disso na minha vida. Isso que dá mais medo. Parece que é o eterno que eu nunca acreditei. E se é eterno, não consigo imaginar outro igual. Mas ele sempre me fez confiar que seu amor também é irredutível mas mesmo assim agora sem muito o que fazer eu só consigo pensar e se não for? E se essa distância nos afastar? E quando não tivermos mais o que falar numa ligação? É tão angustiante que acho que estar interpretando tudo agora nesse meu ver. Qualquer estresse seu que seria compreensível já que está confinado também, eu só consigo pensar na minha insegurança. Eu sei tenho consciência que talvez isso não esteja me fazendo ser compreensiva com o que ele deve estar sentindo também. Eu sinto culpa, tenho medo de fazer errado e por isso ando me desculpando por tudo, mesmo querendo ter razão e talvez eu tenha alguma porcentagem dela mas eu engulo qualquer o orgulho.  Talvez eu esteja piorando as coisas por isso. Talvez eu não esteja sendo eu. Quanto mais eu me desculpo mas ele parece se inflar de razao sempre com seus argumentos bons que me calam. Mas então o pior é o silêncio que me faz pensar que pode ter começado. Será que aos poucos você pode deixar de me amar. Será que de tanto conviver com meu choro não esteja se acostumando com ele ou melhor se irritando com ele. Até que é compreensível, porque até eu estou. Tudo isso Por quê hoje Ele veio aqui no portão entregou o chocolate e eu entreguei o meu, queria ter me programado mais escrito uma coisa bonita como: "Pode comer. pode engordar não precisa ser sarado para eu te amar só quero que seja feliz um pouquinho mesmo sem mim até contigo eu poder estar". Mas não fiz, só chorei. Antes de o ver. Enquanto eu o via, e agora depois de lembrar do fracasso.uro que tudo que eu queria era seu abraço. Mas tive medo, me sentir egoista. Nem tive tanto medo de você ter o vírus. E sim de me verem ali tão perto e não gostarem ou depois ficarem preocupados especificamente meu avô que anda tão  alterado que nem os remédios tarja preta adiantam mais. Tenho medo da pressão dele ou do coração falhar por tanto Pânico no ar.  Mas parece que ele não entendeu assim parece que ele viu como se eu não o quisesse ter por perto. Mesmo dizendo que eu o amo tanto e que na hora eu tive medo mas tudo que eu queria era estar nos seus braços. Tentei descrever meu medo mas ele não pareceu entender. Ele disse se os outros tem problema ele também tem. As vezes até os mesmos. Então desabafou de alguns traumas de infância, do medo que sentia, do sobrepeso que também lhe causou problemas na pressão. E eu ñ sei oq pensar só me sentir mais mal só sentir mais medo de estar fazendo tudo errado e ele estar deixando de gostar de mim por isso. por culpa minha oque seria muito pior pro meu ego frouxo...... Além do desespero de querer chorar tudo que parece corroer dentro de mim. Eu sinto a agunia, a vontade de me humilhar mais e mais dizendo chorando no telefone que o amo e preciso que dele. Mas o pingo de amor proprio e senso que existe em mim sabe que é melhor esperar me acalmar por que pode piorar, então prefiro ouvir a voz da pessoa que mais confio (mesmo que seja fofoqueira as vezes). minha irma e amiga. e obrigada. vc diz coisas sabias mesmo que lembre de quase nada agora. É. eu posso nao estar de todo errada mas posso estar interpretando mal. Talvez ele só não queira conversar agora mas ainda me ama e por me amar doe nele tambem no mesmo jeito que doe em mim. E interpretaçoes sao feitas de maneiras diferentes como você disse. Eu não "querer" abraçá lo pode ter o deixado mal, e não adianta dizer que com certeza foi mais desesperador pra mim por que alem de ser egoista, nao se pode medir a dor. E agora pensando bem como sempre penso melhor quando escrevo. talvez ele esteja sentindo um pouco do que eu estou sentindo e qualquer reaçao ele ache que posso deixa lo de amar tambem oque eu acho incoerente por que eu que to ali quebrando meu orgulho pedindo desculpa e chorando que nem nenem. mas talvez eu so esteja parecendo um louca e trouxa. ou talvez seja mais um egoismo meu pensar q ja que ele nao chora ele não sente o mesmo que eu. Retomando a consciência agora. Consigo até comer um bombom, ou seja, a garganta abriu. A leve esperança pode me arrebater denovo e um pouco da minha consciência pode ser renovada. Preciso ser forte, eu acreditar que posso perde lo, pode fazer com que eu faça com que ele acredite também. Esse deve ser o grande problema de um relacionamento com um pessoa insegura. Esse deve ser um dos motivos da minha mae não dar certo com ninguém ainda. Preciso, Precisamos do amor próprio. Sempre pensei que já tinha o bastante e era bobagem quem não tinha, como exemplo eu nunca pensei ou pensaria em me matar, sempre vejo esperança depois de chorar um pouco. Mas não ter tendências suicidas não quer dizer que temos amor proprio. Agora como fazer isso sem precisar que o grande amado me ligue agora sendo o fofo que ele sempre foi comigo denovo? Essa é difícil. Bom Maria Mendonça e Adele com sofrimentos piores fizeram musicas que lhe renderam milhoes. Talvez eu não chegue a tanto mas posso imaginar que um belo diário estilo Anne Frank eu posso fazer e, o melhor, isso tudo pode vir a me fortalecer também. E caso o meu amor e o dele se mantenha firme depois de tudo isso, com certeza, ele também sera mais forte. Não to dizendo que a gente tenha que arranjar problemas num relacionamento pra testa lo ou amassia lo como a carne. Não. Simplesmente temos que buscar ser firmes no que naturalmente surge. O amor é como a Terra. Alguma poluição há de ter. Os vulcões pode emitir toneladas dela mas há a sua função de ser. Há eras e eras foram os responsáveis  por haver continente. Agora uma poluiçao antrópica, inserida ali sem contexto, só pode dar ruim.

On n’a pas dit « non » à Dieu, mais pas non plus un « oui » catégorique ! La Bible raconte : « Amassia fit ce qui plaît au Seigneur, mais sans grand enthousiasme ». Dans un mariage, la passion ne s’éteint pas du jour au lendemain. Elle s’érode lentement à force de négliger l’autre et de croire que tout est acquis dans le couple. On s’imagine sans doute qu’un manque de zèle est anodin. Hélas non ! Jérémie prévient : « Maudit soit celui qui fait avec négligence l'œuvre de l'Éternel » (Jér 48.10). Comment tout ça peut-il arriver ? La Bible nous répond : « Le cœur de ce peuple est devenu insensible ; ils se sont bouché les oreilles et ils ont fermé les yeux » (Ac 28.27). Devenir insensible, c’est se retrancher derrière un grand bouclier, se créer un solide blindage pour ne plus avoir à souffrir. Voici ce que Jésus dit à deux des églises de l’Apocalypse : 1) « J'ai contre toi que tu as abandonné ton premier amour. Souviens-toi donc d'où tu es tombé, repens-toi et pratique tes premières œuvres » (Ap 2.4-5). 2) « Je connais tes œuvres : tu n'es ni froid ni bouillant. Si seulement tu étais froid ou bouillant ! Ainsi, parce que tu es tiède et que tu n'es ni froid ni bouillant, je vais te vomir de ma bouche » (Ap 3.15-16).
