Said it before, saying it again.
Azriel was not mated with the third Archeron sister, not because he didn't deserve a mate like his brothers did. Like he assumed it was meant to be. Three brothers, three sisters.
He wasn't given an Archeron sister for a mate because he's looking at the wrong trio. It's not about Rhysand-Cassian-Azriel ending up with the Archeron sisters. It's about Cassian-Azriel-Morrigan ending up with the Valkyries while Elucien serves the most angsty pining known to mankind.

"Something about Starfall disturbs her, she claims."
This part makes so much sense if Amren really is the missing Asteri and the stars are first and second light

getting my hair done when it occurred to me . . .
imagine how badass it would’ve been if Amren was non-binary/asexual?
think about it, a creature who comes from a completely different world where gender simply does not exist. not to mention the fact that her personality isn’t mostly feminine nor more masculine. the plot of that is literally right fucking there.
and don’t tell me you weren’t surprised too when AMREN found romantic interest in someone. don’t get me wrong, i think Amren and Varien do make a handsome couple, though the storyline of her being aesexual would’ve matched so much better imo.
let not forget the way SJM describes Eris her boys’ style. imagine how immaculate and breathtaking Amren’s androgynous clothing would be.
“i will still kick you ass in these heals” business woman one day.
sexy yet lethal mafia boss the next day.

Just doing my favorite thing and micro-analyzing everything Rhysand does
You know a lot of people dislike Rhysand and think he was wrong for what he did to Feyre Under the Mountain by having her drink the Fairy wine, but Rhysand had very good reasoning for the whole thing.
First, it keeps up Rhys' façade that he is cruel and has completely embraced life Under the Mountain, and if he really wanted to be Amarantha's whore I think he would start acting like her and what better way, than to get a harlot of his own. Second, he knew that everyone would soon know about the bargain and this way he could solidify that he healed her for his own gain and amusement instead of helping her or defying Amarantha. (though I think Amarantha probably guessed) The dress and body paint adds to the whole scheme by making her seem even more like property, which is done so well that Feyre does in fact feel like property. Another reason for the skimpy dress is it shows off the body paint. Rhys uses the body paint so that he could see where she had been touched to help keep her from being molested because Rhys was not always with her the whole time, as seen when her and Tamlin sneak off.
These parties that Amarantha throws are not pretty, this is a very debauched court that famously has no morals. I believe that it was just like the parties in the Court of Nightmares, as Rhysand later says. Feyre never describes what's going on in them as she is drugged the whole time which is a mercy. there's probably sex going on in every corner, torture and who else know what. Now imagine how much more traumatized Feyre would've been if she had seen all that, and she was even forced to participate in a manner of speaking; even though she was on the edges of it and fully protected. Also Feyre has been on edge this whole time, with good reason of course, but she is overthinking and trying to process everything subsequently overloading her mind. She is also sleeping very fitfully, that is inevitably only going to get worse. So the wine gives her time to decompress and give her overburdened mind a break.
Thirdly, three months is a long time to sit in a cell and do nothing which is basically what she did before Rhysand took her to the parties. So sitting in a cell for that long definitely could've caused her muscles to atrophy and she would've been useless for months after that. Knowing how Rhysand was he more than likely gave her food so she wouldn't be extremely malnourished. Tamlin famously has major anger issues. He accesses his power through his anger, therefore the angrier he is the more powerful he is. So Rhysand is using that to his advantage by doing all this to Feyre (he admitted it in chapter 42)  and taunting Tamlin because Tamlin is going to blame most of it on Amarantha.
Barring all that except the last point, angering Tamlin is worth all that trouble, getting back at Amarantha is worth all of it. Rhysand is giving up, he’s just trying to get as much satisfaction out of pissing Amarantha off as he can. He doesn't think he’s going to get out of this alive, Feyre is the first thing that's changed in 49 years; the first thing to throw Amarantha off kilter. It’s not all about Feyre, Rhys is doing the first thing for himself. He’s finally claiming something, he’s finally taking action. You have to think about it from Rhys’ point of view, for him this is it, this is his moment to do something. For the past 49 years, maybe even his whole life everything has been done to him, and he’s let it happen. He’s felt useless and used all his life, his father used him in the war. the other High Lords used him in their own way, and Amarantha has used him in the most vulgar of ways.
This is his time to take revenge, for Prythian, for his people, for himself. This is his shinning moment to take back his people, his lands. His moment to take back his life, no mater how fleeting it may be.
(also 42 is my favorite number as  it is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. and chapter 42 is like favorite chapter in this book)

I wonder what would happen if Manon Blackbeak met Amren? 🤔
They would probably get along well. Unfortunately for Manon, Amren has lost her appetite for blood.

Thinking of all the females of ACOTAR fixing something they hadn't broken.
Of Rhys jerking awake in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat and tears streaking down his cheeks, still wondering if all of this is a dream. Of Feyre who'd hold his face in her hands and kiss those tears away like he had so long ago, holding him close and letting him use her as his anchor to keep him afloat.
Of Cassian flinching at sudden movements no matter how hard he tries not to, no matter how much he trained the warrior in him. His body was conditioned to think of everything as an attack, a killing machine who served a sole purpose. Of Nesta learning not to startle him, never keeping her steps light around him, to make sure he was completely attuned to her in every possible way.
Of Lucien never turning his back to Elain to spare her from the wounds that never healed, scars that never faded. Of Elain tracing each one lovingly, kissing them tenderly reminding Lucien over and over that there was nothing about him she found short of exquisite.
Of Azriel feeling ashamed of putting his hands on Gwyn, of touching her with something so broken he couldn't help apologize for it. Of Gwyn crying in sorrow that he felt that way, bringing his scarred hands up to her face to cradle them, guiding him to wipe her tears and hold her, turning her face to kiss the same hands he loathed putting on her if only as a reminder that she would never turn away.
Of Morrigan who would never dare step out of the house if not dolled up properly but couldn't look into a full length mirror. Of Emerie who always, always held her by the waist to gently rub those scars Mor wouldn't even look at but ones that Emerie worshipped anyway, just to show her that having those scars meant she had survived, that they only highlighted her beauty rather than take anything from it.

The beauty of Feyre?
She loves unconditionally. Truly and absolutely unconditionally.
Feyre with Rhys: Loves him with all his past, understands him and makes sure he’s loved when he drops his several masks in front of her.
Feyre with Nesta: Loves her sister, is there for her sister even knowing that her sister apparently despised her. She cares for her well-being, she defends her at every turn.
Feyre with Elain: Makes sure that Elain is happy and has the time and space to do as she loves. She knew that when Elain finally came out of her stupor and finally started being herself (baking cookies with Nuala) she had to give her time. She had to give her sister her own time and made sure that when Elain was finally ready to approach her, she would be welcoming.
Feyre with Cassian: She truly loves and adores him. She opens up to him and he opens up to her. She knows that physical touch is something he loves, so she makes sure she bumps his wing, holds on tight when he gives her bear hugs (and when she gives them back).
Feyre with Mor: loves and encourages Mor to be herself. Even when Mor fights with her mate or sister, she still shows compassion and understanding to Mor.
Feyre with Az: Understands his darkness and quietness, his very worldly thoughts (when he first flew her, when he taught her to fly, when they went to save her sister together). Listens to him, respects him. She understands his humour and shows her concern for him every time he sets out to do something dangerous.
Feyre with Amren: Shows her love for amren the only way she knows Amren will understand and accept it. Respect (and blood of course). She listens to her counsel, respects her opinion and laughs herself hoarse with Amren when they almost drown to their deaths.
Feyre is a BEAUTIFUL, beautiful character. She loves wildly and wholly and she deserves the absolute world (which rhys is obviously set on giving her)

We always talk about how Nesta would react if Cassian cut his hair, but think about this.
How would Cassian react if Nesta cut her hair?
NO WAIT-
How would Cassian react if Nesta volunteered to cut his hair?
