David Duchovny live in London, a review, by me:
Orange juice is his stage drink of choice ?
He also has the most unhinged stage presence i've seen in a while ?? This man RUNS like I have never seen a 60 year old man run in my life ??? he was literally LEAPING from one side of the stage to another,, in all my photos all you see of him is a Duchovny Blur
I SAID I'D LOVE YOU FOREVER COME HELL OR HIGHWATERRRR
Actually he had quite a nice stripy vest on ??
He was talking about covering a song by his favourite artist and someone from the crowd shouted: 'Mark Snow????' Incredible. No notes. He laughed and then hummed a bit of the txf theme cause he still hasn't learnt how to whistle.
Tell me why Half Life had everyone screaming along like we were watching a contemporary boy band ?? Stranger in a Sacred Heart was an unexpected DELIGHT. Sea of Tranquility goes just as hard as it did the first time I heard it.
Never in my life have I seen a man vibe quite as hard as him. Still no idea what any of those vibes were. I was nowhere near drunk or stoned enough. But this man had a VISION.
Basically it was like spending two hours trapped in that scene from Babylon where Mulder takes magic mushrooms and ends up dancing in a nightclub.
Would I go see him live again? ....No. Should you ever meet your heroes? Probably not. Was it an insane evening that I will remember with vague nostalgia every time I listen to one of his records? Absolutely yes. <3

Clark grows up on Amity
So! When Clark's shup landed on the Kent Farm, it unfortunately started a bit of a Fire. It was pretty bad, and by the time it was put out most of their Crops had been burned up.
Using their Savings, the money from the remaining Crops, and some goodwill from their neighbors, the Kent's managed to get enough money together to move to a new Town to start over. It also helped that in a new town nobody would question them suddenly having a Baby despite Martha not being Pregnant.
They Move to a small farm on the Edge of Amity Park.
Clark Kent grows up in Amity Park, goes to Casper High, and befriends Danny, Sam, and Tucker as his childhood friends.
When his powers come in, they are the first ones to know. When Danny has his Accident, Clark is there to help him control his new abilities. When Clark has to move away for his new Job in Metropolis, they are all there to wish him good luck and throw him a Going Away Party.
As Superman, Clark is more open to joining a Team since he used to be on Team Phantom.
When Justice League Dark is formed, Superman is a Suprise Member, since he actually had a lot of experience with the Supernatural.
When Kon is born, he turns to his best friends for help and advice on his to deal with the situation. Danny had Ellie in very similar circumstances, so he is more open to the idea of adopting Kon since he has personal experience with Clones made by Madmen.
Thoughts?

I’m seeing a weird uptick in people commenting nasty stuff on people’s non-cat/dog pet stuff again and not so gentle reminder:
Your phobia or dislike of certain animals does not give you the right to harass and bully people who love and share them.
Use the blacklist tag like a normal human being, and leave people who love rats or snakes or bugs etc. the fuck alone.

Something that I personally appreciate in MDZS is how WWX's fear of dogs is shown and handled.
Like so many stories, irl and in fiction show dogs as totally harmless uwu beings that will only protect you and lick your face, so personally for me it's nice to see a story where it's acknowledged that some dogs can be very vicious and violent, that they can and will bite you at any provocation, and that they can be very dangerous, especially to a young child, and in the end it's completely fine if you don't like them.
And no one who truly cares for WWX tells him to just get over it either; LWJ goes out of his way to protect him from them, without or without WWX requesting it (and he never makes fun of him or ridicules him for his fear), JL too (begrudgingly but firmly) gets Fairy to leave the scene when WWX is shown to be near catatonic with fear around her.
Just something that I think personally validates my own fear of dogs.
