Even though as George Lucas said, Jedi Knights are not "celibate", I believe this quote from the great Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk and teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh could be useful when it comes to the Jedi practice of avoiding marriages, and can shed a new light to the overall story of Obi-Wan & Satine and Anakin & Padmé.
"As a monastic you lead a life of monastic celibacy and community, and if the one you love realizes that, she will not suffer and you will not suffer, because love is much more than having a sexual relationship. Because of great love you can sacrifice that aspect of love, and your love becomes much greater. That nourishes you, that nourishes the other person, and finally your love will have no limit. That is the Buddha’s love." - Thich Nhat Hanh
It might worth to examine those love stories from this perspective, considering that Obi-Wan said to Anakin in Clone Wars: "It's not that we are not allowed to have these feelings. It's natural." even though he said, the relationship between Anakin and Padmé must not go beyond friendship, and what Lucas had to say on this: "Jedi Knights aren't celibate - the thing that is forbidden is attachments - and possessive relationships." and "So you have to learn to give up everything. And ultimately for a Jedi Knight, it’s very easy to give up. One of the things they give up is marriage. They can still love people. But they can’t possess them." and "A Jedi is never lonely. They live on compassion. They live on helping people, and people love them. They can love people back."

If everything in the revenge of sith didn’t happen and Padmé and Anakin had a second wedding to celebrate with their family:
Rex walking over to Ahsoka: Enjoying the ceremony commander?
Ahsoka eating her slice of cake: Hm?
Rex: The ceremony.. You know the.. uh… romance between General Skywalker and Senator Amidala..
Ahsoka: Oh. Nah I don’t get the romance. [Eats a piece of her slice]
Rex:
Ahsoka still eating her cake: I’m here for the cake.
Rex:
Rex: Oh thank force me too. I’m so confused on half of what’s going on. It’s just General Skywalker and Senator Amidala ogling at each other.
Ahsoka: Yeah. For some reason Obi-wan is sobbing like one of those mom’s at their daughter’s wedding in those holomovies.
Rex:
Ahsoka:
Ahsoka: Want to get some more cake?
Rex: Yes.

We have an Anakin and Obi-Wan novel, and I love that, really.
But now I need as much a novel about Anakin and Ahsoka. I don't know, some missions that went wrong and Anakin had to cheer her up, or Ahsoka showing unintentionally to Anakin that he is like an older brother to her, or him being overprotective when she is in danger at the beginning (we all know he was), until he learns that she is capable of doing all of it and more.
I need the intimate part of the relationship, even some parts of her with Padmé since they were really good friends and the Senator loved her so much.
Some interactions with Obi-Wan as well, she learned so much from him too.
It could be great to read the moment in which Anakin remembered her after becoming Darth Vader but when he wasn't fully on the Dark Side yet. Seeing her mourning him.
I need THAT BOOK. If I can't have it, I will write it ☠.

Captain Typho: You trust General Skywalker?
Padmé: I absolutely trust this man.
Captain Typho: He’s not some sort of madman, is he?
Padmé: I absolutely trust this man.

Okay but do you think that when Ahsoka found out Padmé died she assumed Anakin had died trying to save her/avenge her because that’s what the Anakin she knew would have done for the woman he loved and that was pregnant with his child (because Ahsoka definitely knew about Anakin and Padmé?)
And since she hadn’t seen anything about Anakin she assumed he died in the process and the empire swiped it under the rug?

Head cannons about…Padmé 💜
Part 1
Padmé.2008 🧚‍♀️
- Padmé loved to read in her free time.
- Padmé’s love languages are quality time, physical touch, and words of affirmation.
- Padmé used to get homesick when she stayed on Coruscant for long periods of time. However, when Anakin was at their apartment, she would feel more at home.
- When she had free time and Anakin was away, Padmé would organise ‘girl’s nights’ with her handmaidens.
- Whenever she had a speech, meeting or other senatorial event that she had been anxious about, Padmé would wear her beloved japor snippet

I've been overthinking Star Wars and chess, here, have some random headcanons:
Anakin learned to play as a child on Tatooine in the slave quarters, it was one of the only games they had. He plays really aggressively and makes a lot of sacrifices and risky gambits in the opening, doesn't know what to do when they don't pay off. He's good at chess in the sense that people are almost never prepared for such an aggressive opening and if he wins, he wins quickly. If the game drags on, he flounders.
Padme learned to play as a child on Naboo with a bunch of super bougie chess tutors, and she knows the classical openings and traps, but she's completely flabbergasted by Anakin's style which is very much "by the seat of my pants" and initially loses badly to him. But she learns to adapt, and they really like playing together and learning from each other.
Leia and Obi-Wan play on their way away from Daiyu. Obi-Wan initially thinks Leia plays like Anakin - she opens aggressively but instead of folding like Anakin when she loses a couple of her major pieces in failed gambits, she just keeps pushing and wears him down. This girl doesn't care about unbeatable odds.
Leia teaches Luke how to play on Hoth.
Add your own, if you like.

Anidala extracts from Brotherhood (2022), Mike Chen
Notice whenever Obi Wan reflects on a/p’s warmth, ease, tenderness, passion it’s mediated through his association of a/p with what was there, what is here & what could have been between him and Satine
