kayyy this is gonna be long sorry
Alright. Rewatching Good Omens 1 and realizing that Aziraphale says brings up forgiveness repeatedly when they argue. But is it a personal sort of forgiveness, like forgiving hurt feelings, or like forgiving a moral transgression? Does Aziraphale mean it sincerely, or is he judging Crowley and doesn't want to admit it?
It comes up three times:
a) The Bandstand (reporting their networks' findings; Aziraphale has the book and hasn't told Crowley)
b) Outside the bookshop (Crowley is in big trouble; tries to convince Aziraphale to go to Alpha Centuri with him)
c) the Big One (season 2 finale. too sad not explaining it but if you know you know)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the bandstand, Crowley curses the Great Plan and Aziraphale says, "may you be forgiven". That's a pretty clear moral wrongdoing and it's a disagreement they've been having since the Garden of Eden. Really it's kind of what separates them in the first place - Crowley openly questioned the Plan and Aziraphale didn't.
More importantly, it isn't Aziraphale doing the forgiving, he's just expressing the hope that Someone (God, probably) will forgive him. Crowley reminds him that he's a demon and he'll never be forgiven, "that's the whole point."
Fast forward an episode to outside the bookshop - Aziraphale is just sure he can fix things if he just reaches the right people and Crowley is just sure that he's being naive -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
in the script book it says something along the lines of "Aziraphale decides not to be offended." This isn't moral, this isn't really talking about any particular SINS. Aziraphale is personally forgiving Crowley for insulting him but also for not supporting him, for disagreeing with him, for trying to get him to give up when he has a duty to set things right. He's feeling hurt but making a conscious decision not to be upset at Crowley for it.
Meta though it's also significant to me that Aziraphale has made the switch from "I hope you are forgiven" to "I forgive you" because it's like he's saying "yeah, maybe Heaven won't ever forgive you. But I disagree. No matter what Heaven says, I see the good in you and I'm not going to judge you for your flaws."
Of course, Crowley sees none of this. He probably hears that and thinks it's the same thing as before, the angel taking the moral high ground over the demon and refusing to even consider his option. It's the angel taking Heaven's side over him. Which is tragic.
The season 2 finale "I forgive you" is just a dreadful mishmash of both of those, and also worse than either. Unlike the bandstand where Aziraphale can only hope that Someone forgives Crowley, he's an archangel now. He can do it himself. Like outside the bookshop, Aziraphale is feeling hurt that Crowley not only disagrees but is actively trying to dissuade him from doing the Right Thing.
And on top of both of those, Crowley also just kissed him and he's going INSANE and he can't think straight and he's never felt so tempted in his LIFE but he has to do the Right Thing. It's an impossible decision and if he even lets himself think about what he's feeling he won't be able to go through with it. So he takes refuge in moral high ground, but he also loves Crowley and doesn't judge him and says the nicest possible thing one can say on the moral high ground: "I forgive you."
(Crowley absolutely does not take it that way *sobbing*)
(season 3 had better fix this SO HELP ME)

I mean there are all those reasonable reasons but also I imagine Hux is the type to hold The Plan and The Way Things Work as nearly sacrosanct. And then Kylo & Knights come along and they just couldn't care less, they walk all over the Order of Things like it's nothing and that's threatening to his entire worldview, both that they don't care and that they have enough power that they CAN not care, seemingly without trying.
So yeah you could look at it from a logical standpoint, but there's definitely more than that going on. It's either rework his entire worldview or hate Kylo's guts, and the latter is easier.
sometimes i wonder if part of why hux hates kylo so much is because not only do kylo's tantrums cost time, money, and work to repair, but also because THEY LIVE IN SPACE.
can you imagine being an astronaut on board the ISS and your coworker keeps like. destroying equipment and slashing up the walls whenever they get mad. the vacuum of space is fatal within minutes and causes permanent damage in less than that! the finalizer isn't just a warship, she's a city. and a sort of walled city where going outside the walls without the right protective equipment means almost-instant painful death, at that!
on top of that, you'd think hygiene/sanitation matters a whole lot more on a spaceship. not just because there's no fresh air to clear out the stench if someone smells like BO and blood all the time, but also because anything infectious would sweep through the ship real fast for the same reason, and even a mild epidemic could spell disaster.
sure, the common cold isn't gonna kill or permanently disable anyone, but imagine if the entire population (or even the majority) of an entire city (a city with a 0% unemployment rate!) all got a cold at the same time! one guy (or seven guys) tracking mud and filth from all sorts of different planets everywhere isn't just gross, it's a potential threat; they can't possibly know there's nothing infectious to humans in all that grime!
i'm just saying, if i was a citizen of a space nation, and i had to deal with this one guy who (a) has zero regard for cleanliness and (b) has violent outbursts that potentially threaten the functionality and/or structural integrity of the floating city i live and work in, i'd probably hate the guy's guts too.

I genuinely think that Hollyberry Cookie always talked so lightly and cheerfully about her clear addiction to Berry juice (they call it juice, but we all know it's alcohol) is because, if she's lighthearted and treats it as "just a way she's having fun and letting loose", her friends and other cookies won't worry about her, and then she could ignore that she actually has a problem.
Hollyberry Cookie has MAJOR avoidance and coping issues. She only became an alcoholic after one of her closest friends died, and it also gave us the scene where people who weren't insane about analyzing her went "Oh shit, this is actually a problem", where she was continously drinking and her son was trying to get her to stop. I didn't grow up in an alcoholic household, but I know that scene must've resonsted with a lot of people. But, she turned to alcohol because she had no other way to cope.
She couldn't handle dealing with queenly stuff, so she passed on the kingdom to Royal Berry while she went off to Beast-Yeast to avoid her issues. Even when she heard that one of her granddaughter's was taken by a dragon, she didn't go back, even though she was heartbroken, because in her mind, the best way to cope is to avoid it and distract yourself.
Even now in the game, she still chooses to avoid and drink. It's become a joke on how much Wildberry has to stop her from drinking, but he really must be worried about her. She took him in when he was young, right? Do you ever think he had a moment similar to Royal Berry? Where he had to watch his caretaker get blackout drunk instead of dealing with her issues? But, she doesn't pay any mind to this because, to her, "It isn't a big deal."
Tldr; Hollyberry doesn't take her drinking problem seriously bcuz that would mean admitting she actually has a problem, and she doesn't want her friends and family to worry.

I noticed some interesting parallels and similarities between Eternal Sugar Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie
Firstly, even design wise, Eternal Sugar Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie are the only bare-foot characters in their respective ancient/beast groups. (Look at the way they present themselves too, one hand raised and the other holding their significant object as their hover/fly)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both are capable of flying, albeit one without wings and one with wings (cuz features of the beasts got swapped with the ancients and GC got the wings)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both come off as the "Friendly/Easy to approach" ones of their respective groups
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both their kingdoms are floating
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both wear almost fully white robes/dresses (often associated with purity)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both have been shown dealing with babies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We all know Pure Vanilla Cookie is based off on Jesus + Moses, Eternal Sugar Cookie has heavy influence from Biblical Angels
Tumblr media
Even in their title screens, they hold things very similarly
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perhaps better seen here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both their kingdoms were regarded as "Paradise" in their own way
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now this is a bit speculative BUT even Eternal Sugar Cookie has heavy incorporation of snakes in her design just as Pure Vanilla Cookie is big in white lilies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Snakes in Eternal Sugar Cookie's association:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perhaps a reference to a certain Jester hmm? (It even has blue colours incorporated!)
White lilies in Pure Vanilla Cookie's association:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And we already know Pure Vanilla Cookie loves White Lily Cookie, could it be that Eternal Sugar Cookie loves Shadow Milk Cookie?
Basically if PV x WL is Robstar from Teen Titans then SM x ES is basically RobRae. Or a verse where evil PV and evil HB fell in love... And RobRae is canon in the evil verse of TT03 (Teen Tyrants verse) so could it be a similar situation? Just like them PV and HB see eachother platonically but maybe when evil they date?
Highly speculative ik but very interesting I believe as idt this is a coincidence
They even have angels in eachother's design
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What do y'all think?

ive said this once and i will say it again, grady is the most nuanced character in KOTLC. Purely from just how he is written in canon- there is so much we can draw from his character with little inference.
On the one hand, you have a walking tragedy: he manifested one of the rarest and most dangerous abilities in the lost cities at a young age, he lost his daughter to her fiance, (if we're talking theory, he may have been in the neverseen), you can't help but feel sympathy for him.
But then- you realize something terrifying.
Gisela and Vespera are right.
Grady is the most ruthless elf in the lost cities.
But he's also one of the kindest.
Despite the danger it poses, he and Edaline adopt the Moonlark, they put themselves at risk. Despite everything been through, they willingly give their love to a girl who needs it. That is one of the kindest acts someone can pull off.
However, as alluded to earlier, there's another side to him. Despite how concerned, kind, and thoughtful he is; he is also vengeful, impulsive, and distrusting.
Let's look at Everblaze again. Partially because it's the best example of his darker nature, partially because I have it on hand right now, partially because it is my favorite book in the series.
In Everblaze, Grady's vengeance and impulse is seen in full. Take King DImitar, for an example. Sophie was going to be taken away; and Grady jumped in. He believed it to be the right thing to do; and believe me it was, but there is a dark tone to it. A feeling of impulse; that he wasn't truly thinking at the moment. And he almost violated the treaty, if it wasn't for the Councillors coming to his defense.
This scene serves as subtle foreshadowing for later and sets up something very important about Grady:
He could kill someone if he wanted to. And he knows that.
But what could push him that far? Well, there is an answer to that, an answer we later find out:
Jolie's death.
When he finds out the true circumstances to Jolie's untimely demise, his sheer ruthlessness is demonstrated. There's a deeper level to this however, it is his underlying fear of being taken advantage of showing to its surface.
Brant took advantage of Grady and Edaline, and that is the biggest injustice to Grady. Because it's what he has been fearing, it's why he had closed himself off to the world.
That fear causes the sheer level of terror that is caused in Grady. Terror that builds into his impulses, which causes him to go out to find Brant, with intent to kill.
That's why he doesn't want Sophie to come with, he doesn't want his daughter to see the monster he was about to become.
The monster he believes himself to be.
It's not just Everblaze, but a feeling that permeates his character and his choices.
His distrust of Keefe stems from two things:
The similarities he sees between himself and Keefe (the sense of humor, the blond hair, and later in the books; the ability of control).
How that, in a way, is all Grady has ever known.
Elves manifest young. Meaning that he has spent a majority of his life being distrusted by his peers, as well as distrusting the world and fearing someone would take advantage of him.
So when there's a talented but terrified young kid that needs his helps; whether through adoption or through training, he obligies.
Why?
Because he sees himself so much in that situation. Because of that deep feeling of kinship, he feels a need to take care of people in that situation.
Grady's empathy trumps his distrust.
And that's why he starts helping Keefe. That's why he adopts Sophie.
tl;dr: grady's character absolutely FUCKS why does no one talk about this???
also he is hotter than hell and i will fight people on this

YOU GUYS. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but... look at this.
Magnum Opus:
MC: It's a work of art. Whoever created this must be a true master of their craft. Sylus: That so? Surely the virtuoso is fond of her magnum opus?
Beyond Cloudfall Ch 4:
MC: You have no intention of disguising yourself? Sylus: No need. No one would believe a fiend would wander around a market. Besides, everyone sees a fiend differently--some see ugliness, others see horror, cruelty What they see isn't me. They only see their own hearts. I hold up a mirror from a stall. It reflects the face of the dragon. MC: Can you guess what I see when I look at you? He lowers the mirror as if he heard a childish joke. He leans closer. Sylus: At the very least, I'm a lot more handsome than I was depicted in that Fiend-Slaying God mural.
Sylus may be implying that MC is literally responsible for him looking the way that he does. In the main story timeline, Sylus seems to have a stable appearance as we see him through multiple POVs in main story content and World Underneath stories.
It doesn't seem like a stretch that when MC curses him to live on, this curse "locks in" his appearance as... the way she sees him. 🥹
Even if it's not literally true, he knows on a deep level that if she sees him as beautiful, it's a reflection of her own heart. Seeing him how she does? That's her own creation.
I WILL NOT RECOVER.

✍️Tommy Kinard: Speculating His Rank in the LAFD (Canon + Structural Analysis) 📊📋🧵
Tumblr media
📍TL;DR: Based on canon clues and real-world LAFD structure, Tommy Kinard is most likely a 🎖️Fire Helicopter Pilot V—the highest pilot classification. His career path is unusual: he started in suppression at the 118 before transitioning into Air Ops using his Army flight experience.
-----------------At your own risk- Lets Spiral-----------------------------
While the show hasn’t explicitly stated his rank, there are enough visual, behavioral, and contextual clues/crumbs to build a solid case for where he fits within the LAFD—especially given the real-world structure of Air Operations.
Similar to Tommy’s military-to-LAFD career timeline, this is meant to be both canon-compliant and grounded in how the real LAFD operates, in order to build a plausible theory around Tommy’s role, rank, and seniority. It’s part character study, part structural breakdown.
🔍 Canon Facts/Clues (What We Know)
Tommy is introduced in S2 as a ground firefighter at the 118, and reintroduced in S7 as a helicopter pilot at Harbour Station.
In 7x04, he tells Buck that he used to be a pilot in the Army.
He has over 20 years of service in the LAFD (stated on-screen based of begins episodes).
He has taken helicopters out without formal clearance (7x03, 8x15). While reprimanded afterward, the fact that he has the access and autonomy to do so is notable.
He is seen launching without escort, clearly trusted to operate independently and justify his decisions after the fact.
He casually offers to teach Buck how to fly (7x04), suggesting he holds—or is qualified for—a trainer or flight instructor designation.
In 7x06, Tommy arrives at the hospital in turnout gear, soot-covered, after a fire at Angeles Crest. Raising questions about whether he was working suppression or Air Ops.
In 8x15, Tommy performs evasive maneuvers while being pursued by military helicopters—diving low, climbing high, and weaving between towers—as part of an aerial diversion to buy time and deflect pursuit.
In 7x03, Tommy helps Hen bypass red tape by taking a helicopter without official approval, offering only a vague line about Central Bureau and brushing off objections from Melton.
🚁 How Most LAFD Pilots Get There
In real life, becoming a helicopter pilot in the LAFD follows a specific and highly competitive path:
Most candidates begin with military flight experience or are already civilian-rated pilots (e.g., with commercial or instructor licenses).
However, even military pilots must first complete four years of full-time suppression duty within LAFD before becoming eligible for Air Ops roles—there are no direct-entry exceptions.
That said, their military flight hours and FAA qualifications do count toward pilot certification requirements, making them strong candidates once they transition.
They are hired into pilot trainee roles (Fire Helicopter Pilot I or II) and must pass rigorous evaluations.
Air Operations is a separate track—pilots do not typically come from suppression (ground firefighting) units.
As a result, most LAFD pilots have never served on engines or trucks.
Pilots usually work 12-hour shifts (day or night), typically on a 4-on, 4-off schedule, and remain on-call at the airport rather than responding on the ground.
🧩 Real-World LAFD Air Operations Structure
LAFD helicopter pilots are classified under the following civil service ranks:
Fire Helicopter Pilot I or II - Pilot Trainee Roles
Fire Helicopter Pilot III – Entry-level pilot
Fire Helicopter Pilot IV – Senior operational pilot
Fire Helicopter Pilot V – Training/lead pilot (sometimes informally called “chief pilot”)
These ranks are lateral to suppression-side ranks like Firefighter, Engineer, or Captain. While pilots typically don’t carry the "Captain" title unless cross-trained—but senior pilots often operate with comparable authority within their unit.
🧭 Why Tommy’s Path Is Unusual
Tommy’s trajectory breaks the mold in several important ways:
He began his LAFD career in suppression, working as a firefighter at the 118.
Only later did he transition to Air Ops, requalifying based on his Army flight experience.
This kind of cross-track shift is rare—most suppression-side firefighters never move into aviation roles, especially after years on the ground.
🔄 Update (Post-Publication): As clarified by a kind commenter, all LAFD helicopter pilots must begin in suppression roles. So Tommy’s path actually aligns with departmental requirements.
What still makes him stand out, though, is how long he remained in suppression—over a decade—before switching tracks. That kind of deep dual experience is rare.
He’s probably one of the few who might have earned credibility in both areas: the fireground and the flight deck.
This dual-track background probably makes him a unique versatile asset with extensive experience to the department.
🧵 What That Tells Us About Tommy
Tommy’s military aviation experience likely included high-risk flying, tactical decision-making, and possibly training roles—skills that directly translate to LAFD Air Ops.
He entered the LAFD through standard firefighter routes—like all Air Ops pilots must—but instead of transitioning to aviation early, he stayed in suppression for over a decade before requalifying as a pilot. (But why?! 💭🤔)
That makes his path both rare and earned.
His ability to take out helicopters independently, despite the fallout, signals a level of seniority and operational trust only afforded to top-tier personnel.
His offer to teach suggests a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) license or LAFD-equivalent designation, reinforcing that he may also serve in a training or mentoring role.
Tommy might still be dual-certified (implied by full turnout gear after the Angeles Crest response. (Or the show forgot he’s a pilot?!)🫨🤐)
His evasive flying during the diversion mission —dodging military helicopters —points to tactical or combat-style flight training. Possibly special ops. (So sexy.😘)
He’s senior enough and holds enough field authority or just bold enough to fake it to casually override protocol with a “You didn’t get the call?” deflection.
🧠💥 Conclusion: Most Likely Rank 🎖️
Tommy Kinard is almost certainly a Fire Helicopter Pilot V, or at the very least, a senior Pilot IV on the cusp of promotion. He’s not formally titled “Chief Pilot,” but functionally operates as one—with over two decades in LAFD, firsthand suppression experience, and the kind of authority and autonomy that reflects a deeply trusted position and seniority to push limits.
He may not wear Captain’s bars, but between his dual-track career, leadership instincts, and ability to push protocol when it counts, he clearly stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the station’s most senior personnel. 💬 If I missed something or misread a clue, feel free to correct me (kindly)—or share your own version. Always open to digging deeper. After all… the writers clearly aren't worried about consistency. 😌
📎PS: 🤷‍♂️ All of this is, of course, pure speculation—built off canon clues/crumbs, real-world LAFD structure, and my completely healthy, not-at-all obsessive need to spiral over every background detail the show refuses to explain. I know 9-1-1 isn’t always that deep (and sometimes barely tries). Don’t worry, I’m seeking a therapist. 🙃👩‍⚕️ learning to chill.😎🪭
if you read till the end 🫡 & don't ask why we needed to know all this!
✨ Update: Added more canon evidence from 8x15 and 7x03 that reinforce Tommy’s seniority + elite training 👀🚁 (That somehow got lost in my Excel-to-Tumblr exchange. Damn. I need to stop. I’m putting myself in a time-out. Bye.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- PS 2: Okay, so I did mess that up🤣—turns out all LAFD pilots need to start in suppression for 4 years, and someone kindly pointed that out (thank you!! 🙏). Just to clarify, this post isn’t absolute fact—I don’t have a firefighting background, just sharing what I could find. Also, I am not from USA. please take all of this with a grain of salt. this is just a fun exercise. I've now learned even more about fire department structures than I ever planned to.
Seriously guys, stop enabling me 😭 I should be updating my resume, not drafting municipal org charts for fictional men.

craziest thing about jayvik to me still is how anyone, after spending circa 6 months in pure hell, would have grown to resent whoever put them there. But Jayce? He saw it was Viktor and melted on the spot and swore his devotion instead. I wonder if a part of Mage Viktor expected resentment, wanted it even. What if he did all this also so Jayce would have the motivation to kill him and make sure this future would never happen. But no, every single time, Jayce chooses love in the end.
There's always a choice, and Jayce made his the moment they met.

"The Visit" - Little Nightmares Short Comic
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyways, I love batshit insane, bastard Thin Man. It's my favorite interpretation of him, and is actually what I believe him to be as in Little Nightmares 2. Let me explain.
At first, I liked the interpretation of the Thin Man wanting to save himself from repeating the same mistakes, only to be trapped in a time loop. This paradox is cool, but that's too hopeful for a game like Little Nightmares.
The world of LN is twisted, and cruel. Innocents turned guilty. Victims becoming abusers. Regular people becoming monsters. Children becoming Adults. And I think... The Thin Man is no exception to this rule. I think, he is most definitely a bastardized version of Mono.
A twisted view into what kind of monster Mono becomes, if he doesn't let go of his grievances; which, spoiler alert--he doesn't.
That older, more selfish version of the little paperbag boy who becomes so obsessed after his betrayal, that he was willing to kill his younger self for even trying to take his "friend" away from him. Similar to The Lady who hungers like her Guests', I think he is under the influence of the transmission's broadcasts like his own Viewers as well, in order to distract himself from the betrayal that happened to him.
After all, how do you sit in a chair for so long? The answer is by being distracted and preoccupied, of course. I think he doesn't allow himself to think about it entirely, because it'd make him spiral badly.
And when Mono finally opens the door to his room, that distraction is interrupted.
And while yes, I believe that he isn't even known to be real by the residents of the Pale City, I think he still influences them somewhat via the Transmission, and he is the blueprint on what makes every adult so monstrous and so one-track minded. His influence is just THAT strong.
Besides, he is the big bad of LN 2. You should feel sorry for the circumstances that lead him to why he chooses to remain in his seat, but not for the atrocities he commits because he's an adult that's purely powered by his instincts: which is to retrieve his long lost companion at all costs. Which, he doesn't even succeed at, seeing as to how he keeps snagging the wrong kid every damn cycle.
It's this neglectful nature that spurs on the generational abuse, and in turn, keeps the cycle going. Getting physical isn't the reason abuse exists, it's always been neglect; Physical only comes next either on it's own, or an after effect of neglect. Which is also why I've began to dislike the idea that The Thin Man has good intentions, the moment he is "set free" from his prison.
You can't expect a person to stay sane and clean after spending a lifetime in the belly of a huge beast that's constantly consuming him. And that, I think, is the case of The Thin Man; He is no longer the sweet little boy who just wants to keep his friend safe as much as possible, these intentions of his have been twisted to the utmost extent that he becomes obsessed. Possessive. Isolating.
Keeping his friend safe is no longer the priority, it's just keeping his friend by his side for as long as he can, whether she wants to or not.
As for the relevance of the topic to the comic? This comic is actually just a concept scenario of "What if, he knows who his friend really is, and knows where she lives". But I don't think The Thin Man canonically--nor fully-- is aware of the fact that The Lady might actually be the very person who he's looking for.
He is a paradox caused by his own actions, and his inability to break free from this toxic mindset. After all, the adults of LN are all monsters in their own way. And the most normal looking ones? They're typically the most depraved.
Tumblr media
Well, that escalated quickly. Sorry for low quality ✌️

i just love love and deepspace so much because the writers inadvertently subvert what is arguably the most popular trope in romance right now that is absolutely plaguing the genre: the callous, cold, (borderline) abusive mafia boss/bad boy/criminal of some kind. sylus is, at first glance, expected to follow all the ten booktok commandments of this trope, like he looks like what you’re supposed to picture when these books are brought up. he comes into the story mysterious, curt, domineering, almost to lull you into an expectation of where this is going. you’ve seen this before, it’s the most popular romance trope of the decade after all, the red flag booktok biker bad boy.
but instead, within literally a few chapters, he is so fucking tender. he is the most emotionally secure out of all the love interests. he looks at our character with nothing but absolute softness and warmth in his eyes. he is ruthless and he is a killer, but our character will know absolutely nothing but gentleness with him from here on out. even canonically in the bedroom, too, what you would expect from this booktok bad boy archetype is a dominant man who relies on violent and/or misogynistic sexual beliefs to fulfill his pleasure; but instead he submits, maybe not in the way you’re thinking of, but he truly gives himself over to our character, all of him on a silver platter. he’s a one woman man (for centuries), constantly asking for confirmation, going slowly with gentle hands, taking the time to imprint nothing but love and care with them. he’s secure in his masculinity, not possessive, protective yes but still knows and trusts that his lover can handle herself. in fact, loves the fact that she can handle herself, especially when up against him. (the man is canonically a bratty sub and i will die on that hill but that’s neither here nor there.)
sylus is the breath of fresh air that the heterosexual genre of romance media desperately needs.

"oh, you're an angel. I don't think you can do the wrong thing." hits different when you remember that Crowley was an angel. He was an angel and he was just curious, he wanted to know why, he was so happy about his lil nebula and sad it wasn't going to get to reach its full potential
and now he's a demon. Clearly, an angel can do the wrong thing and he DID. and he still doesn't understand why and here this angel who didn't fall is worrying about a little thing like a sword.

IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME THAT HYUNA, who was presumably forced to be an Idol for the alien stage and definitely suffered in her past for it, stills wants to sing for other humans even after escaping. She wants to spread music purely for music's sake, to get people hyped up and cheerful, because she loves singing and wants her audience to love singing and see it as smth fun and not just a talent the aliens abuse for sadistic entertainment. She's redefining singing despite how it's treated her and it's kinda beautiful and wholesome.

I noticed something about the Eah into and I don’t think anyone has talked about it yet?
First the old intro: The background is made to like an book (for obvious reasons) with old writing and yellow/brown color crumble old paper
Like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now the “new” intro: the background in this one is more clean, with no writing and new white paper. Lines to to be written on like an notebook!
Again like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notice how this first intro is when the plot was about royals and rebels? Or when the rebels was fighting to be able to choose they own destiny? And the second is when it’s all over and the book is destroyed? A lot of people don’t like the new one because it more simple but I think there’s a meaning to it
The first is meant to symbolize that they story is already written, it’s done it’s set in stone (in paper?) much like all the adults around them is saying as well as the female narrative. As soon as raven has disproven that and destroyed the book that Binges them to it the intro changes. It’s now new and unwritten pages, showing that there’s room for them to write they own story, that they don’t have to follow the old but to write something new for themselves. Idk just a small analyzation
