I think we as a fandom need to talk more about cale's lack of reaction to his ancient powers. Like one day one just started speaking in his head and he just was like. okay this is happening now. And over time the number of ancient powers speaking grew. And cale was just like wow ok new family members only in my mind this time.

I feel like an idiot.

It's only today that I understood— the reason all of Cale's ancient power owners are connected isn't a coincidence. It was Nelan Barrow's doing.

Nelan Barrow wrote a detailed description about wood, vitality, wind and fire powers. He must have also written about rock and water powers after volume 5. He probably did it because he wanted the last trace of his family to end up in good hands and not in the hands of WS.

Forest of red flags

After the last chapter I have to say this. From the beginning of part 2, Cale should have sat down and seriously thought about what he was trying to do. First red flag, getting divine artifact from GoD, which allows you to travel between worlds. You have a diary that talks about variables. Did you forget what it said?! There's a reason why single lifers or Immortals are sent. Let me remind you, you're human, there will be consequences.

The second red flag, taking the temple of the God you have sealed. It's a really great idea to have temples for the future.

Another red flag is conversations with Gods. No one normally has a conversation where they see the appearance of a God, and you've met 4 Gods plus you saw God of Protection from the distance. On top of that you have normal conversations, behaving disrespectfully towards them. In addition, one of the Gods asked him if he wanted to become a God himself, another demanded that he become one, and another warned him of the possibility that Cale would replace him.

And another flag is the fact that two of the previous owners of the ancient powers are Gods. Additionally, his Dominating Aura can even rival God, and he has said more than once that his aura is equal to God. Later, DA even managed to copy the power of an ancient God. While we're on the subject of Dominating Aura, it's worth mentioning another crazy power, Sky Eating Water. During the fight with the dragon, SEW decided to imitate the chains that God Of War put on her. While they were helping the World Tree, the Sky Eating Water destroyed the chains that were created by God. Later, DA and SEW worked together to absorb the power of the Saint of the God of Chaos. On top of that, all your powers want to fight the Gods!

Another red flag, Cale officially has a Church and probably with a large numer of the followers, since they used old temples that worshipped dragons.

Another flag, talking about divine artifact like it's no big deal, even mentioning creating your own divine artifact.

Another flag is a conversation between him and Aurora, where she mentioned a way to become a God. He should realize how many criteria he meets.

Another flag, Cale wants to gain all the abilities from the scrolls, power belonging to a God, powers even a Saint doesn't have.

And what did he decide to do now?! Visit the Demon Realm, along with Clopeh dressed in a priest outfit. Create a festival and use the power belonging to the God of Chaos to save Choi Jung Gun.

How many more red flags do you need before you realize it's too late?!

I have this fanfic idea:

So Cale got hit by a Mind Reading Spell/Power that was supposed to broadcast his thoughts out loud. But instead of his thoughts, it broadcasted the voices of his Ancient Powers that were inside his mind. Everyone around him just felt dumbfounded at this.

Bonus, the voices of Wind Elementals also got broadcast when Cale held the top whip. The voices of the Dragons spoke into his mind also in the same boat.

Random TCF-Related Thought

So you know how Cale is canonically an avid fantasy novel reader? Hear me out, Cale's Ancient Powers also has access to his Records. And since Cale has a habit of Recording the things he likes for later review when he's got the time, imagine this.

Crybaby, Super Rock, Crazy Kid, Cheapskate, Thief, Glutton, even Jour Thames and Nelan Barrow all do a read and react over the cheesiest, most cliché-and-trope-filled selections in Cale's mental library of fantasy novels.

The roasting, the over-the-top voice-acting, the long pauses between different lines because they can't stop laughing for about 8 minutes over how this villain's monologuing is just like the White Chuunibyou's conspiracy theory rants about Cale.

Every time Cale uses an ancient power and then gets confused when people react in worry I laugh and want to shake him because Cale, CALE YOU NEVER EXPLAIN WHY YOU'RE VOMITING BLOOD.

And here's the thing, vomitting blood, regardles of colour is a sign of serious internal problems, and you know what signs and symptoms you should definitely watch out for afterwards?

Dizziness, especially after standing.

Rapid, shallow breathing.

Or other signs of shock.

So everyone around him makes the very valid assumption the Cale using an ancient power = severe internal bleeding and then Cale goes and usually displays some symptoms of shock (I.E shaky limbs, dizziness, weakness in limbs) and just never explains that he's actually fine. Instead, he tries to get up and keep moving unless he's already fainted.

OF COURSE THEY'RE FREAKING OUT CALE! They think you need serious medical attention and you keep refusing to see a healer or a doctor! (Yes we know you don't want them figuring out how many powers you have and that they can't do anything anyways, but your friends don't!)

Since we don't see what the others are doing every time Cale falls into a coma as a response, I imagine that they're all frantic, trying to figure out what went wrong, how injured he is and how to get him the proper medical care. And then Cale wakes up and is just confused as to why they made it such a big deal.

Like Cale, please, for at least the first few times, they probably thought you were DYING.

(Also; I know that Cale has 7 Ancient Powers, and I know I did not include the Dominating Aura or "lust". ...But even connecting DA with "bloodlust" is a big stretch, it doesn't with with the other APs regardless, and finally:

Summary

Cale Henituse was suddenly struck down by an attack in the middle of a battle with the White Star. The Arm mage in question had cast a vicious curse on him. The curse will now reveal Cale’s every thought. Every thought, every opinion, every plan. Nothing is hidden.

“Now let’s see how your allies react to your true colors,” the White Star laughed maniacally.

“...Ahem, testing, testing, one two three.”

TLDR: The White Farmer’s Market Reject thought he had a big brain idea to expose Cale as a transmigrator with a curse that broadcasts his thoughts for everyone within hearing distance, but all he accomplished is giving Cale’s Ancient Powers the power to provide background music to everything.

Ever wonder what the “traditional” heroes before Cale were like? I imagine them like this:

Cale Tattos

Why does nobody talk about Cale’s tattoos?! It’s canon that Cale has tattoos, and nobody mentions it! (＃＞＜)

Why didn’t Ron ask anything? It’s safe to say that Ron knows when the shield tattoo appeared because he helps Cale get dressed. So why didn’t he say anything when it’s obvious that Cale didn’t go to a tattoo shop? After all, if he had, the rumors would go wild (＾＾＃)

And when does the heart appear? And the swirls? And the lightning bolt?! With the latter, it’s obvious that they are ancient power marks, so why is it never mentioned? ＼＼٩(๑`^´๑)۶／／

I understand it’s for plot convenience and all, but how the hell does nobody comment on it even once? ヽ(`⌒´メ)ノ

Here’s a list of Cale’s canon tattoos up to chapter 1045:

Silver shield + Heart + Lightning bolt (disappeared after the battle at Mapple Castle and the appearance of the golems) over the heart.

Swirls on the ankles.

Eight water droplets on the collarbones (four on each side).

Cale's mind must be really rowdy and caiotic even without the APs. Many many records goes through his mind most of the times, his ability that with time made him able to discover complicated codes (without even having to use it) within seconds, and enables him to count normally-uncountable-by-eye quantities (like the books for example when he entered the mercenary's records library or the rocks in the last arc of part 1).. The amount of stuff that he processeds in his mind is unbelievable , like how he crates plans from A to Z on the spot to be able to survive, even his dreams are past records! (Trauma ofc...).

He sure will get a headache very often if he was a normal person with all this added to it the APs conversations and comments on every situation and let's not forget the dragons who are always ranting inside his head ... Poor little main character who has to suffer ⁦⁦(⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)⁩⁦

White Star

I know the fandom often makes fun of White Star. However, when it comes to power and influence, it is a terrifying opponent. It cannot be forgotten that in the original timeline, White Star first appeared 20 years after the beginning of the war in front of Choi Han. Nothing happened only thanks to regressor. We also saw the diary of the God of Death, a lot of people should have died. In the original timeline Roan kingdom would be destroyed, the Whipper kingdom would lose to the Empire. Jungle would be under the rule of Elisneh. It's likely that many places would be destroyed by dead mana because of the Empire. The dragons we met would be dead. Bud would probably have been killed too, after all, White Star was hunting him. The whales had a war with the mermaids, but it is possible that they later lost. White Star would have the most powerful ancient powers. After all, he was trying to obtain Sky Eating Water and we know how powerful this power is. It's better not to mention the balance of the 5 attributes. Additionally, it has races with a dark attribute on its side. He managed to gain a lot of sacrifice, so his Sky attribute would be more powerful than what we have seen. He has its own kingdom, and Kingdoms that work with him.He also got rid of two dangerous people, Saint and Holy Maiden. There is no one who can use the artifact left by the Sun God. The corrupt Church would realize too late how dangerous the enemy is, it is impossible for them to sacrifice their lives to purify dead mana. It was obvious what their reaction would be after we already seen their reaction when Prince Valentino asked for help. There is also no one who can use fire of destruction, because the person who took this power was an elf, a person with no money and without correct acquired power. The world tree would be destroyed and replaced by a new tree controlled by him. There would also be no weapon capable of completely destroying his soul.

There is something that seems interesting to me. The proposal the God of Death gave to Choi Jung Soo. Nameless 1 already had Choi Han, since a second Single Lifers is needed. That could mean Choi Han lost. It's possible that he didn't die, but something worse happened to him. From being controlled by illusions to becoming a Half Blood-like monster or becoming a demon. It is possible that hunters could have killed him later. CJS preferred to sacrifice his life to his closest family. KRS has become someone whose future cannot be predicted. Thanks to this, KRS has become someone who can change the future of others. KRS read the book with the necessary information. Besides, he had the power, intelligence, experience. It's not that WS was an idiot, this person was terrifying. He managed to guess that Cale was a transmigrator, that the person in this body wasn't the real Cale. Even if the other theories were wrong. We have to remember how unlikely it is that he is someone from another world. After all, he had too much information. While it is laughable to say that Cale works with the Gods, he was actually partly right. Cale was sent to this world by the God of Death, and the God likes him and offered him the position of a saint. Even thank to God he gained the power that allowed him to imprison White Star. White Star lost because Cale had help from God and was loved by nature. And so Cale is someone that nature likes, elementals are part of nature, the world tree has lost branches for him many times, even gave him the oldest root. Dragons liked him because of his power and character. Elves were interested in him many times because of 5 attributes, so different from each other. He did not discriminate against any race, so even the necromancers and dark elves cooperated with him. Of course, Cale is also someone who survived the apocalypse, he managed to become someone strong even in such circumstances. Even White Star who lived for 1000 years couldn't compare to how many difficult and demanding missions Cale completed while he was still in his old body. Because White Star has always had the power, he never had to fear that the monster would eat him, that if he lost, the people he protected would be next. I can say with confidence that Cale has a lot more experience even if he didn't live as long. Compared to White Star, Cale never took the easy path. I would also like to talk about the powers of these two, but that's for another time.

Sometimes I feel like people misunderstand about the fact that Ancient Powers do talk or not.

Like yeah, Cale is special in the case that their voices remain even after he got their Powers.

But before that? During the trial to get the Ancient Power? The voice of the previous owner does talk. So other people who have Ancient Powers do hear their voices during trials. Not counting Choi Han ofc since he force Syrem to give them to him.

So the fact that Ancient Power does talk is not weird. But they still talk after the new owner receives the power? Yeah, now that is weird.
