for very very strange 3 years the name of capital city of Kazakhstan was... Nursultan. Like Nursultan Nazarbayev. The still alive first president(out of 2) of Kazakhstan.

Why only 2 you ask, haven't Kazakhstan gained its independency in 1991 with other countries? Yes I answer you. It is just that every post-USSR country is fucked up in their own way. So.

Nursultan Nazarbayev was president of Kazakhstan from 1st of December 1991(before Kazakhstan even signed official declaration of independency) to somewhere mid 2019. 28 this man was ruling Kazakhstan.

And guess what. After this quickly elected Zhomart Tokaev decided to rename the capital Astana(literally Capital city from kazakh) to Nursultan. Because he was such a good leader:) He needs to be remembered:).

Anyways. They changed the name after Bloody Qantar of 2022. We returned to Astana!

Alright, I have to admit that it was a pretty decent TLSQ. 

I still don’t think it makes a lot of sense for Tulip to randomly be worried about it, though. Yes it’s totally understandable that it’s all about her parents after all. However, I just wish there was some specific trigger that caused Tulip’s doubts right now. But… it’s not the most out of character somebody was in a TLSQ, so it’s not a big flaw.

Also, the story could’ve been a little more subtle. Like, it wasn’t really necessary to talk all the time about how Tulip is curious, how she likes to learn, and study, and read, how she needs her notebook etc. Then again… TLSQs are usually not very subtle in general, so I guess I can’t complain again.

That being said, there were some rather odd logistic decisions within the story I’d like to address. For example, when it’s time for the Hufflepuff test, Hagrid tells us that it was Chiara who prepared the test, but… Chiara is not there. And it’s not even explained why exactly she’s not there. And I just don’t really understand why… Was it that hard to put one more character into this scene? Or at least a sentence of explanation: “There’ s an emergency Chiara had to attend to”?

Another issue of similar nature: Tulip is surprisingly passive, considering that she’s the main character of the quest. MC goes to Dumbledore to talk about Tulip, but Tulip doesn’t join us for some reason. I mean, it is addressed once: she’s reading at that time. But still. It feels weird. I can say the same about our final conversation with the Sorting Hat. The whole adventure was about Tulip’s doubts and her wish to talk to the Hat, but in the end, it’s only MC who puts the Hat on. I understand that Jam City wanted to show the conversation “from the inside”, and that’s fair. However, I believe that Tulip should’ve put the Hat on as well, so we’d simply watch it from the side.

But overall, it definitely wasn’t the worst ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i love when words fit right. seize was always supposed to be that word, and so was jester. tuesday isn't quite right but thursday should be thursday, that's a good word for it. daisy has the perfect shape to it, almost like you're laughing when you say it; and tulip is correct most of the time. while keynote is fun to say, it's super wrong - i think they have to change the label for that one. but fox is spot-on.

most words are just, like, good enough, even if what they are describing is lovely. the night sky is a fine term for it but it isn't perfect the way november is the correct term for that month.

it's not just in english because in spanish the phrase eso si que es is correct, it should be that. sometimes other languages are also better than the english words, like how blue is sloped too far downwards but azul is perfect and hangs in the air like glitter. while butterfly is sweet, i think probably papillion is more correct, although for some butterflies féileacán is much better. year is fine but bliain is better. sometimes multiple languages got it right though, like how jueves and Πέμπτη are also the right names for thursday. maybe we as a species are just really good at naming thursdays.

and if we were really bored and had a moment and a picnic to split we could all sit down for a moment and sort out all the words that exist and find all the perfect words in every language. i would show you that while i like the word tree (it makes you smile to say it), i think arbor is correct. you could teach me from your language what words fit the right way, and that would be very exciting (exciting is not correct, it's just fine).

i think probably this is what was happening at the tower of babel, before the languages all got shifted across the world and smudged by the hand of god. by the way, hand isn't quite right, but i do like that the word god is only 3 letters, and that it is shaped like it is reflecting into itself, and that it kind of makes your mouth move into an echoing chapel when you cluck it. but the word god could also fit really well with a coathanger, and i can't explain that. i think donut has (weirdly) the same shape as a toothbrush, but we really got bagel right and i am really grateful for that.

grateful is close, but not like thunder. hopefully one day i am going to figure out how to shape the way i love my friends into a little ceramic (ceramic is very good, almost perfect) pot and when they hold it they can feel the weight of my care for them. they can put a plant in there. maybe a daisy.

it's my personal belief that Vil hasn't been in love before this

so when you enter the picture it kinda throws him off balance

and with the exception of Rook, no one can even tell

he is an actor, after all, he can play the part of "totally platonic friends with room for Jesus"

but Vil isn't entirely emotionally repressed

he keeps things to himself, yes, but he's quite conscious of his own wants and needs

so when he realizes he's been craving your presence more than usual he does acknowledge it

the truth of the matter is that Rook Hunt can be just as reserved with his feelings as anyone else

for reference: you catch his eye at orientation, and do not have a single conversation with him until after winter break

on the other hand, he's completely lovesick about you and it's almost cute

(you'll have to ease him into the idea of being soft and romantic together, but he'll get there)

but, to his credit, he'd be the first out of all the above to confess

super suddenly and out of nowhere (and he ends up shouting it cause he didn't want to sound chicken) but it's sweet in its own way
