#countless streets in different cities
Text
for very very strange 3 years the name of capital city of Kazakhstan was... Nursultan. Like Nursultan Nazarbayev. The still alive first president(out of 2) of Kazakhstan.
Why only 2 you ask, haven't Kazakhstan gained its independency in 1991 with other countries? Yes I answer you. It is just that every post-USSR country is fucked up in their own way. So.
Nursultan Nazarbayev was president of Kazakhstan from 1st of December 1991(before Kazakhstan even signed official declaration of independency) to somewhere mid 2019. 28 this man was ruling Kazakhstan.
And guess what. After this quickly elected Zhomart Tokaev decided to rename the capital Astana(literally Capital city from kazakh) to Nursultan. Because he was such a good leader:) He needs to be remembered:).
Anyways. They changed the name after Bloody Qantar of 2022. We returned to Astana!

౨ৎ⊹. BOYFRIEND!KENJI HEADCANONS!
── content warnings: F!reader, mention of Emiko, Emi and Mina, Ultraman form, Kenji being a little needy (once again), fluff, a little something to warm our hearts and minds so dreamy.
── word count: 683!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⭑.ᐟ Underneath, and sometimes over, tight-fitting t-shirts and extremely expensive fabrics, wear a necklace; however, there is something special there. — His promise ring hangs on the gold chain; like a talisman, something that surrounds he with luck and passion. — Staying attached and close to you, even with a small object.
⤷ If he needs to think or try to decide something dramatically important and you're not around, Sato will take his fingers to the necklace and hold the ring; looking for guidance. — Oh, and waking up, before him, and contemplating that shiny and significant piece, which rests on his broad chest, is angelic.
⭑.ᐟ It's not uncommon to feel, in the middle of the night, Kenji's face trying, persistently, on your neck; readily, wanting to harness the huge and strong body between your. — He doesn't care about the grotesque difference in size, just at that moment, and he doesn't give up.
“Kenji, be careful…!” — Your voice, fully, drunk with sleep and maintaining stillness, murmured between the boy's black and shiny locks; who only responded with a snore, more like a purr and clinging even tighter to you.
⭑.ᐟ Sato can't keep his hands off you, no matter what's going on, what you're doing or what simple task you're performing; hands on your waist, kisses on every exposed and revealed part of your body, thin and wide fingers catching on some part of your clothes. — Don't be upset with him, this poor man is in love with you.
⤷ One day, Mina compared him to a sloth and obviously got a frown of disapproval and the adorable Emi observes how her “father” remains so attached to her “mother”. — Even laughing and grunting when he saw a completely sleepy and desperate Ken crawling towards you.
⭑.ᐟ Please, we have, we need to talk about all the times Kenji and Emi train together, most of the time, being just leisure moments, you sit in the stands, virtually, scheduled and cheer for them; accompanied by Mina. — The feeling of nostalgia, remembering an incredible part of his life, is exposed in Ken's chest; remembering his mother.
⭑.ᐟ I can easily imagine Ken pressing his nose against your cheek or neck wanting your attention; also, when he wants to show you the way Emi is sleeping, enjoying the baby's sweetness. — And, together, pressing his forehead against yours during countless moments of the day and night, when you get home after confronting some creature and every time he want to say "i love you" to you.
⭑.ᐟ This man knows you like the back of his hand; no one can disagree or dispute this fact. — Kenji pays attention to your gestures, noticing your body language and, for a matter of seconds, he knows that something is bothering you; and, there he is, dedicating himself, with all his attention, to doing his girl well.
⭑.ᐟ Funny situations, for Ken, between you and his Ultraman form are included in your lives. — Once, while chasing Aboras, he ended up finding you on the street, wanting to go home, and clearly he was distracted by wanting to cause a provocation. — Mina gave the boy a long, and rightly so, scolding.
“Go back to the house, young lady.” — The robotic voice filled a part of the city's environment, wanting to convey an authoritarian image. — “You know…” — He pointed one of his gigantic fingers in your direction, then towards the place he was. — “The streets have been very dangerous lately.” — Oh, you stopped yourself from answering him like you really wanted to.
“Thank you, so much, for the advice, Ultraman.”
⭑.ᐟ There are nights — many, many nights — that Ken spends watching, contemplating you sleeping, peacefully; your face remained full, without signs of tiredness, exquisite and messy locks spread out, this was adored by the player's eyes. — Between seconds of fascination, Kenji longed, dreamed, deeply and painfully, of his mother meeting you; this way, she would have the chance to know the light that raised her dear son.
⤷ Kenji prospers, sometimes praying, that one day his mother will return, safe and sound, and be able to achieve what he wants so much in his life.

sam vimes is actually the character ever. when we meet him he's absolutely fucking WASTED in a gutter bc he's grieving a subordinate and a friend. he gets his shit together bc he's an adrenaline junkie. he told the patriarch of ankh morpork to shut up TWICE in like, five minutes (and vetinari let him). he annoyes rich people constantly and consistently. he has arrested two armies (INCLUDING his own city's). he survived being chased by werewolves. he's "vetinari's terrier". he recognizes ankh morpork streets by the feel of different COBBLES under his too thin boots. he's sober but keeps a half empty bottle in his drawer to keep himself in check. assassins have tried and FAILED to assassinate him countless times. he can make armor look rumpled. he HATES kings and gods and journalists and kings and stupid rich ppl. when he's angry he punches the wall outside of vetinari's office and vetinari LETS HIM. he's malewife. he's so so great.

Insomnia
You had always had trouble sleeping.
As a child, you would wander the house in search of something to do, as a teenager you utilized it for spending countless nights painting the town red with your childhood best friend Yuji, but, as an adult, you find yourself spending more and more nights sitting in front of the window, waiting for the sun to rise in a peaceful quiet.
The view was always better from your partner Sukuna’s apartment. Tucked into the very top of a complex that scraped against the sky, the city stretched out before his ceiling length windows like an endless mirage of glittering light. Looking out of them, you would never know it was three o’clock in the morning. The city still bustled, people the size of ants crossed the main streets below you in swathes of different walks of life; business men lost to highballs with too much whiskey, friends on their way to the next nightclub, shop workers calling to anyone with a pulse on the sidewalk. It was a perfect people-watching spot and a perfect distraction from the nightmare replaying in your head like a broken record.
You’re sitting on the cold tile floors of his living room, curled up in a blanket you had taken from the arm of the couch. You’re positive Sukuna had never used it before and that it’s always been a decoration before you had arrived. Now, it was part of your nightly routine when Sukuna had you over to unfold it and curl in, while you spent countless hours drifting off in your own mind waiting for morning.
It wouldn’t be long before Sukuna was up now, he had a meeting at seven o’clock in the morning that day. The two of you hadn’t gone to sleep until around midnight, naked and content. You wished you could sleep as deeply as he had been when you carefully crawled out of his bed half an hour ago, but you had accepted your insomnia by now. You found ways to live with the burden of it, and you had long since made friends with the silence and peace of nightfall.
You always did feel guilty when Sukuna was affected by it. Like tonight, when your ears catch the door to his bedroom clicking open and you hear his bare feet against the tile approaching the living room.
Your heart momentarily skips a beat. You think about hiding- sprinting into the bathroom as an excuse for your late night absence from his bed, but he makes it into the threshold of the living room before you get a chance to decide.
Despite the guilt washing over you like a bucket of cold water, your heart still warms at the sight of him. He’s slipped into a pair of sweats to come find you and is still in the middle of putting on a tank top when he appears, sleepy and squinting against the light of the city signs glaring in. His hair is still a mess from your fingers pulling on it before bed, which somehow makes him even more heart wrenching to look at. Even when his eyes find you on the floor, and he immediately frowns you’re still starstruck by his sleep drunk appearance.
“Why are you so good at that?” His voice is thick with sleep, but he talks to you as though you were just in the middle of a conversation.
You tilt your head at him, peering over your shoulder in confusion. “Good at what?”
“Leaving without waking me.” He scratches at the back of his head, yawning as he makes his way across the room to come stand beside you. One of his hands sweeps down his face, like he’s trying to wipe away his clear exhaustion.
“It’s no easy task.” You admit, hoping your innocent smile is enough for him not to push any further. He stares down at you for a moment, searching your eyes reflecting in the neon of the city line.
He huffs through his nose when he doesn’t find what he’s looking for, muttering to himself as he plops down beside you and folds his legs into a cross-legged position. He’s close enough that his side is flush against yours, his knee resting over top of your own, grounding you. “So stubborn.” You hear him say.
As if it were second nature, you immediately rest your head against his shoulder and his arm comes around your waist in turn, scooting you even closer to him. The two of you fit together perfectly by now. Constantly trading off between who was yin and who was yang, but always in equilibrium when you were side by side.
“I need to get you a bell.” He murmurs against the shadows of his living room.
You chuckle, “Yeah? Gonna collar me?” You’re just poking fun, but when you peek up at him expecting him to be chuckling too, you find his eyes honed in on your neck, like he’s considering it.
He doesn’t give you an answer to that one, but you can see it in his eyes that your joke has been taken as a suggestion to be logged away for future use. You bury your face into his shoulder, feeling your cheeks burning in embarrassment.
You don’t take it back.
The two of you sit like that for a while, allowing Sukuna’s presence to diffuse the unease from your haunting dreams. He doesn’t have to do much to comfort you. When Sukuna was beside you, comfort was a given. He joins you in silent people-watching, his hand protectively curled over your backside as though he can feel the nightmares lingering just out of his sight.
After a while, he squeezes you to catch your attention, but doesn’t ask you to pull away from your resting place against him.
He turns his head to press his lips into your temple, and the way he whispers your name then has you convinced you’d tell him any secret you promised you’d take straight to the grave.  “Why are we awake?” He asks.
“I couldn’t sleep.” You whisper back,  as though you were afraid that the nightmares would hear you and realize they had won.
Sukuna takes a few seconds breathing in your scent, patiently waiting for you to give him more information. He hums in disappointment when it’s clear that that’s all you were willing to share at the moment.
“Suppose I didn’t work you hard enough last night.”
It’s a joke. Such an obvious one that you can’t help but let out a laugh despite your thoughts weighing heavily.
“Please,” You plead in a groan, “I barely made it to the living room without crawling on my hands and knees.” This was not a joke. Your legs shook like jello the moment you were on your feet and they ache with the memory of overexertion even when you're sitting.
“I do love you on your hands and knees.” Another suggestion that you can tell he’s logged away for future use. At this point you were doing it to yourself.
You still don’t take it back, though.
“Let’s see,” He clears his throat and his voice takes a different cadence now, no longer conscientious of the time of night… or day rather. “The last time you had a nightmare and I caught you out here, you asked me to make you pancakes. I think I still have the mix in the cupboard…”
You freeze up against him, your head moving mechanically upwards until you’re face to face with him. The man who reads you like a book. When you’ve tried so hard to stay shut up. When you’ve worked your entire life at achieving the perfect poker face. Time and time again he proves to you that it’s useless when he’s got your soul tucked away in his hold, yet, it never stops surprising you.
Sukuna tilts his head, smiling like you’ve confirmed his suspicions with just one glance. “What? You think I don’t know that much, at the very least? How aloof you are~”
He takes the opportunity to scoop your hair away from your shoulder and tuck a few strands behind your ears so that he can see your sleep deprived face clearly. At the same moment, his free hand reaches over and finds yours in the blankets.
He's smug with your shock.
“How long are you going to try to hide from me?”
“I’m not hiding…” You whisper, even your own voice cannot bear to lie to him. He makes a warning noise, leaning closer like he can tell.
“One day I’ll know it all. Every secret you want to keep from me. Every dream you’re too shy to tell me.” His mere proximity is enough to scramble your mind. The way his lips play just out of your reach, the way his nose brushes yours ever so slightly, the way his thumb presses into your ring finger, all of it has your focus split into too many incapacitating directions. “Your burdens. Your nightmares. All mine to bear.”
You don’t doubt him. It’s yourself that you find apprehensive to trust. Convinced that your own mind was going to torture you with him there or not. You had spent years battling insomnia alone, and while you hated to deny him, you hated to get your own hopes up too.
“You can’t scare away all my nightmares, my love.”
"Hmm, is that right?” Sukuna lifts your hand to his face, presses it against his lips, and places a kiss to the very center of your palm. It's almost as sweet as his next words, “Sounds like I'll just have to give you so many good dreams you’ll forget about the bad ones, then.”
You wonder if you looked as awestruck as you felt in that moment.
He’s won. He knows he’s won. You can tell by that prideful toothy grin you feel him hiding behind your hand, the one you can see in the curve of his eyes.
The way your heart climbs into your throat, like it’s desperate to be home in the palm of his hands, has you instantly knowing that you were truly a hopeless cause at this point.
“When did you become so soft and sweet?”
Sukuna laughs under his breath, “When I found out that’s just how you like it.” He answers easily, like he’s asked himself the same question before.
“Now, do you want the pancakes or not?”
Before you can remind him that he has a meeting in only a few hours, before you can assure him that you weren’t thinking of food at three o’clock in the morning, your stomach releases a growl that’s begging for Sukuna’s undivided attention.
He snorts, not even bothering to wait for a verbal answer before he’s maneuvering to his feet, still grasping your hand gently in his own.
“Come sit pretty on the counter for me.” He tugs you. “It’s cold out here.”
You don't think you've ever felt warmer.

I got my first salary in my new part-time job today and after paying my debts I had a small amount left so I donated £5 to @mohamedmoner1994 and Rewaa's gofundme. Please consider matching my donation.
I haven't been able to boost and push Mohamed's and @yousefmoner's fundraiser because I've been sick for a few days and took a break from tumblr. I'll try to send out messages again to look for people who can match even just my £5 donation.
Please don't be mad or annoyed if you receive my asks; my goal will be to look for people with the ability to donate a minimum of £5 because both Mohamed's and Yousef's fundraisers are still so far from their goal nearly 5 months since they started their gofundme.
Please be assured that this is a vetted fundraiser. Mohamed's is number #66, line 70 and Yousef's is #65, line 69 in the vetted Gaza fundraisers spreadsheet. I also have countless of posts with updates from their family on my blog, tagged with their tumblr urls. Mohamed, Yousef, and Rewaa are also on instagram - pls consider following them, interacting with their posts, and sharing and collabing with their reels because the family have been struggling to promote their content on the platform. They've been asking people to help them reach a wider audience and they can really use everyone's help:
Mohamed's insta: mohamed_moner1994
Yousef's: you2.ef_
Rewaa's: rewaaamohamed
Layla, their gfm organizer: only_one_lulu
Mohamed has also started an account on tiktok, please do follow him there as well: mohamedmoner79
Mohamed is still only at £11,275 / £45,000 with only 2 donations so far today:
Yousef is at £7,794 / £50,000 with only 1 donation 1 day ago:
They have another brother, Karam, with a different fundraiser for himself, his wife, and their newborn son. I haven't been posting about him a lot because I tried to focus on Mohamed and Yousef's fundraisers first, but they also badly need donations. Their fundraiser is very new and is still only at £1,461 / £25,000 with the last donation being 3 days ago:
The last update I read from Layla was that their sister Sahar and mother Nadia went and joined Mohamed and Rewaa in Deir al-Balah, along with Karam's wife, Maram and their son, leaving behind Yousef, Karam, and father Munir in Azdaa, where there were intensified clashes and shelling that reached their encampment. Yousef, Karam, and their dad had to flee from their tent several times and sleep on the streets. When they got back to their tent, most of their belongings had been stolen.
Please help match my donation to any one of these fundraisers. If you can donate to all three, please do so. I can only afford to give £5 because of the high exchange rate here in my country, but if you have the ability to give more, your donation would go a long way to help these people and their family.

hello!!!
can you do a one shot/ fanfic that Lando has been dating Y/N since they were 15/16, so for a long time, and she just found out she’s pregnant. you can come up with how they would react and how lando would react but i’d love if they were unsure of it in the beginning, but it grew on them as time went by.
thanks!!!!
| OUR WORLD IN YOUR HANDS ( lando norris. ) |
Tumblr media
ꕥ pairing: lando x reader
ꕥ summary: they hadn't planned for pregnancy, but it changed their life.
ꕥ authors note: enjoyed writing it more than I thought I would honestly. tried to make it so she was more unsure than he was and in the end, I liked it. working on incorporating more dialogue in the future because it is definitely not my strong suit. I'll also alternate between requests and my own ideas so if you requested something, keep it in mind <3
ꕥ warnings: mentions of alcohol, sex, barely mentions thoughts of abortion
TWO RED LINES. her heart had skipped a beat, more like several as she stared at the dark red line and a faded pink one next to it. she couldn't believe her eyes. it couldn't be possible, it repeated in her mind.
but it obviously was. they hadn't been very careful, they're young and dumb and in love. two people so deeply in love that they couldn't care less. at least she thought they did at the time.
staring at the test in front of her shook her whole world, an entirely different branch of her life she'd never expect to take this soon. it was right in front of her.
despite being together for a year or two shy of a decade, it felt too soon. they were still young, had plenty of parties lined up in the near future. plenty of drunken nights running through the streets of monaco barefooted, hands intertwined as the world was focused on them. how they'd escape to the farthest rooftop, drunken makeouts leading to more as they came together under the stars.
they still had time. time to be what they'd missed as teenagers, to make memories. they had time to spend countless nights, wrapped in each other's arms under cold skies on balconies across countries, discussing their future. when they'd get married, where they'd like to live, if they ever left monaco which seemed unlikely, the places they've yet to see, how many kids they'll have and their names.
time for reckless driving through the streets of monaco with the wind crashing against them, hands raised as they cheered. he always drove to the most beautiful sight in the city, but always claimed it would never come close to the beauty she possessed.
time for runs across the beach in tiny bikinis and swim trunks as they raced on the sand. his arms capturing her waist as he tossed her around, feeling the vibrations of her laughter and screams against his skin. a feeling he'd forever cherish.
it all disappeared with a single faded line. everything she knew about their future collapsed with the test barely bigger than the length of her hand. it would affect everything.
it was conflicting. becoming a mother was all she ever dreamed and talked about, when she became older. she'd mention to her curly-haired boyfriend countless times of her dreams of having the mini versions of him running around the house they shared. the longing to see his eyes and curly hair with features of her own on another warm body. their child.
but she wasn't ready. in her mid-twenties, with years of life left to live child-free. tens of grand prix's to attend in support of her mclaren lover, watching 10 feet away from his car. nights to catch up on hours of sleep she lacked from keeping up with lando's lifestyle.
having a kid swept it all off the table. no more late night dalliances, or getting so drunk to the point where lando would have to pull over the car to hold back her hair as she threw up in the bushes.
no more parties at ungodly hours of the night, watching drunk lando stumble his way to the dj booth, giggling over a glass of alcohol at his actions.
no more sleep. she knew she'd be woken up numerous times in the night from the cries of her child, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to give up sleep yet.
and she wasn't sure lando wanted to give up formula one either. obviously, a balance between the two worlds is possible, but she knew he would want to be there with her, and she didn't know if he could.
it scared her. the thought of this changing the dynamic of their relationship on levels she couldn't even begin to think of. she's seen countless videos of how having a child completely changed the way couples worked, good and bad, and she didn't want that fifty-fifty.
she'd sat staring at the test between the tips of her fingers for a solid twenty minutes before she heard a patterned knock she grew familiar with from her beloved boyfriend.
the door muffled his voice just slightly, "darling, you 'right in there?" his hand wrapped around the now cold door handle and twisted it, but it failed to turn as it pressed into his palm.
it was unusual for her to lock the door, she knew he would question it. and she knew she couldn't use the excuse of that she's changing or showering because lando simply didn't care whenever she was. he'd sit and keep her company till she was done with whatever she was doing because it was often what they did. sit in silence, enjoying the presence of one another.
"yeah, I'm fine!" she called out to him in a rushed tone, flinching enough that she nearly dropped the test. she watched as the door knob shook, shoving the stick into the bottom of the trash temporarily. she'd remember to remove it eventually.
she turned on the sink as she hid the box of tests in the depths of the cabinet under the sink. looking at herself in the mirror, she'd wipe away the tears that built in her eyes. she didn't want him to notice, but like always he would.
from the locked door to the second she opened it, he'd watch it. she'd see him leaning on the wall just outside the door, patiently waiting for her to come out to him. he wouldn't question it, he trusted that she would eventually come around to tell him. she always did.
with the frequent trips to the bathroom and the slimmed selection of foods in the fridge, he'd suspect something, but he wouldn't know for sure. not without her word.
because for the time being, it was a secret she kept to herself, as much as she despised secrets. she felt like she was guilty to be hiding something from the person she trusted most in the world.
times when she thought the room was empty, she'd be pacing long ways back and forth with her arms crossed and her face solid. he'd watched her from the doorframe with his arms crossed against his chest, mirroring her position slightly.
times when she'd drop whatever she was doing to rush into the bathroom and spill her guts into the toilet as he held her hair and ran his fingers along the nape of her neck. she claimed it was a stomach bug, but he knew better. he also knew better than to question her words so he said nothing, but made a multitude of soups for her to sip on, taking notice of her now acute taste.
times when she'd cry over the tiniest of things, comforting her in his arms while she sobbed against the fabric of his very worn hoodie that happened to be her favorite.
it wasn't a great shock when she first told him. stuttering over her words as she fumbled with the sleeves of his long-sleeve shirt that went well past her fingertips, he could see tears brimming her eyes with her heightened sensitivity.
so when she muttered the words, "i'm pregnant," his world stopped, restarted, reloaded and stopped again when he finally processed the words. though he knew he could've expected it, hearing the confirmation leave her lips left his world tipped sideways.
but he wanted to hear it again, needed to, words breathlessly escaping his lips, "what, love?" he heard her the first time, but he wanted to hear it again. and again and again.
she choked on her words, sobbing out again, "I'm pregnant, lan," he pulled her into his chest, his hand finding it's way to the side of her head as he cradled her, pressing his lips against her hair.
as they swayed, it finally dawned on him, muttering unsure and excitedly against her head, "I'm going to be a dad?" his breathing deepened, his tongue gliding across his lips, then biting at the sensitive flesh. he felt his heart hammer in his chest, nearly comparing to when he first asked the girl out all those years ago. he reminisced the time when the biggest deal he could think of was rejection. now the girl he had crushed on when he was just a teenager just told him she's pregnant. with his kid.
part of him couldn't be happier, they had spent countless nights in bed, lying on their sides facing one another with stupid grins on their faces as they pondered their future together. whatever they wanted, it always had the other in their thoughts and plans.
this was just their plans manifesting faster than they might've hoped, and sure, he wasn't totally certain that it was the right timing after all. but this was their dream, and maybe they just needed time.
time to accept how greatly their life would be affected. he thought about how he'd have to leave her for days, weeks for his career, the few outlying times when she'd travel with him. he knew that would change, leaving her home with a new life to take care of besides her own. he hated the thought of leaving her.
they needed time to think, whether it was together or just by themselves. they needed to figure out how they'd make it through, if they could. which was a question in itself.
they needed to talk because part of her didn't think he would be so accepting of the change life threw them, permanently altering their course of life and the years to follow.
deep inside, they're scared. they knew they would've been, planned or not. it didn't make it any easier. but when he asked such a simple question, it lifted a massive weight that had been carrying on her shoulders. part of her knew he'd always be so accepting. everything is an experience after all.
with every month passed, every growth of the life within her body, he'd mention. he was the nerdy type to compare the size of the baby with fruit. he'd goggle each week with every new development she'd create. it shook his mind to even comprehend. she could make bones, organs and the tiniest lashes of their soon-to-be kid all within the confines of her body. to him, it was sacred.
and of course, he'd tell just about everyone from every team. all the drivers, mechanics, pit crew, team principals, the list goes on and so does his rants about her.
countless photos of appreciation for her on his social media, after all she was carrying his child and he was ecstatic. he'd spent every waking moment he could with her, his hands always somewhere on her, prodominantly on her growing stomach.
when he felt the first kick, he pulled his hand away sharply, looking at her with a dropped jaw and wide eyes, "it kicked me!" he'd exclaim and she slapped his shoulder, scolding him.
"don't call the baby an 'it!'"
"what else am I supposed to call it?" again, earning another slap to his bicep, and he'd look at her with a growing confused look.
"stop slapping me!" he held up his arms in defense as she scowled at him, her arms crossed over her chest. she pursed her lips before sighing as he'd replace his hand on her stomach.
"babe, I don't think this baby likes me," he looked between his hand and her eyes, feeling the movement under his palm. it was a weird sensation, something he'd never expect to feel so soon, or at all.
all she could do was laugh at the stupid expression across his face as he looked back and forth in bewilderment. the warmth from his hand, and the small calluses sent goosebumps across her skin. it incited a smirk to take place on his face, but she slapped it off. he'd expect to feel more of those as the months went by, especially with all the sly comments she'd hear slip past his lips.
with every ultrasound appointment, he'd be there. he'd make sure of it, no matter where he was or what he was doing. she also scheduled them in accordance to his race and where in the world it took place.
every time, his eyes would be locked on the screen that projected his child, a part of him in another life form. a smile always creeping into his face as he held her cold hand. more often than not, he'd get curious and try to become the technician, stealing the equipment out of the professional's hand. his girlfriend would scold him like he was some sort of dog. in response he'd groan, rolling his eyes at her.
he'd still try though, and the technician laughed it off. he'd make comments to her in reassurance, "babe, i've got this," he'd tell him as his hand with the wand came closer to her stomach.
"where's your degree then?" she snapped back, giggling at his sudden pause before he shrugged, waving it off his other hand.
" 's at home."
when the time finally came to birth their new life into the world, god did lando panic. everything he had prepared himself with went out the window when she'd mutter the words he'd been waiting to hear.
"lando," she mumbled as she sat on their couch, turning to him with wide eyes, "I think it's time." her sleeve-covered hands were at her face as she bit nervously on her nails.
he'd stutter over his words, hands in his hair, "you're joking." he'd say repeatedly as he rushed around the apartment, grabbing things. he was the type to grab everything and forget her still on the couch.
she'd call him on her phone when she sees him in his car from the window, through the pain, she laughed at him, "forget something, norris?"
"no, darling, I've got everything-" she'd see his movement pause, his hand returning to his hair, "fuck!"
when he'd come back to help her, she was nearly collapsed with laughter despite the pain she felt through her body.
"stop laughing at me!" he whined but he was laughing with her. nonetheless, they'd get to the car.
she was in labor for hours, crunching on ice chips that he'd fed her carefully. he'd massage her shoulders, hold her hand when contractions got particularly unbearable. he knew not to mumble bullshit words of encouragement, a word of advice from his mum, advice he'd gladly listen to.
instead he'd show her he was there by doing everything she asked until it was time to actually deliver their child they've been waiting 9 months to finally meet.
with a pale face, lando would comment, "I think one kid is fine after all." she'd roll her eyes at his words as she held their daughter in her arms, already seeing themselves in her. she was exhausted and he knew. he put her hair up, cooing words of appreciation to her now that all was done. he took care of her.
he'd remember call his mum later to tell her thank you.

König walks late at night along the busy city streets to blow off steam. People watching is something he enjoys doing, curious how others live their lives so…simply. There is a heavy weight on his shoulders, the lives of other people in his hands to protect or to take. In a way, he envy’s these people to live without true knowledge of what the world's governments do behind closed doors.
A woman in a black baggy shirt and jeans catches his eyes, you. You move as if you’re trying to blend into the darkness, your eyes darting to everyone studying them the way he is. Who are you? Why are you acting so odd?
As he walks on, his icy blue eyes move from you and continue to people watch. Your eyes fall on the tall man in what looks like a basic black shirt, but you have a keen eye for designer things. The watch on his left wrist hinting at the gold mine inside his wallet. When he gets close enough, you turn out of the storefront you were lingering in, passing König.
The feeling of your smaller body bumping his snapped his eyes in your direction. You look up at him with a warm smile. “Pardon me.” Your voice and demeanor are extremely bubbly, different from the vibes you were previously giving to him.
König looks down at you with no emotion and ignores your words. A few steps later, he stops, putting his hand in his pocket. Empty. He quickly spins around to see you trying to blend into the crowd. A smirk plays across König’s lips as he realizes he’s been robbed. He quickly turns, following you at a distance.
Thinking the man was none the wiser, there was a cocky arrogance in the way you moved. The wallet was safely secured in my satchel. You quickly turn to an alleyway that leads you back towards your tent.
König stalks closely behind without you noticing. For being a thief, you lack spatial awareness. Someone could easily follow you, come up behind you and grab you. Such easy prey. He reaches his massive, calloused hand out, grabbing you by your arm, and spinning you to face him.
“Wallet. Now.” He towers over you by well over a foot, his eyes piercing into your own. One hand extended to accept the wallet back.
“Let me go! I don’t have your wallet.” You struggle as if you’re truly innocent, hoping he will just think that he is mistaken and go away. What you don’t know is that you picked the wrong target.
“I’ll demand nicely once more. My wallet. Now.”
Once you realize he isn’t buying your innocent act, you try to stomp his foot to run away. It worked countless times before. You lower the heel of your boot down as hard as you possibly can and prepare to run. The man didn’t even flinch, his eyes still gazing deeply into your own when you look up.
“Let me go!”
“Give me my stuff!” He shouts, his booming voice causing you to give up the hold on his wallet.
You dig into your satchel for his dark brown leather wallet. With an attitude, you slam into the palm of his hand. König feels a heat growing in his loin. This tiny little feisty thief isn’t scared of him? He looks at the defiant look on your face and takes in how attractive your features look this close up.
“You have your wallet, now let me go!” You try to pull your arm away from his hand but his grip is unpleasantly firm.
“You know I could have you arrested right? You just robbed a military Colonel.”
“I gave you your shit back!”
Even with the knowledge of his status, you’re still disrespectful. A deep laugh rumbles from König’s stomach as he looks down at you. “I like you. You’ve got spirit. How about I make you a deal?” König walks into you, forcing you against the brick wall behind you. “I won’t report you if you come home with me.”
A playful smirk pulls at your lips. “You want to fuck me?”
“Is that a problem for you?” König’s voice is low and sensual as his eyes drop to your pillowy lips. “Just one night. I’ll even pay you.”
“I’m not a whore.” You say defensively.
“I never said you were; I’m just offering a gift. A gift for allowing me to have you… if you will.”
“How much?”
“More than you would have gotten from my wallet.” König’s tone is playful as he sees in your eyes that you’re actually considering doing this.
“Fine. You’re not going to try and kill me, are you?” You ask half joking.
“I don’t hurt innocent delicate creatures such as yourself.” König moves his masked face to your neck, slowly breathing in your sweaty musk. “I’ll return you safely, and a few thousand dollars richer.”
Thousand piques your interest. You take a few seconds to think about it before looking around you. “Fine. I’ll entertain you for the night.”
“Perfect.” König smiles down at you. “Come with me.” His hand slides down from grabbing your arm to intertwining his fingers with yours. He turns away from the alleyway and begins to walk towards his home.
“What’s your name, Liebling?”
“Y/n. You?”
“I’m König.”
It takes about a twenty-minute walk to get to König’s home. You gaze around at his home, simply decorated but you can tell it’s all high-end luxury. This man really is wealthy. You feel König’s hand on your lower back as he guides you to the staircase, up to his bedroom.
“What are you wanting?” You ask him, unsure of how to go about this transaction.
“Just a normal night. As if we are truly lovers.”
You stand and watch as he undresses. He takes his boots off, pulling down his snipper mask, exposing his face to you. His blonde hair is messy with an angular face scarred and aquiline nose. Taking in his rugged appearance, you admit to yourself that he is quite attractive. Your eyes follow his hands to the hem of his shirt, his body sculpted and powerful.
König drops his pants last, stepping out of them as they drop to his ankles. “Come here.” He holds his hand out for you, pulling you to him. His free hand reaches for the hem of your shirt, putting his hand underneath to feel your soft skin. Your muscles tense at his touch, his tenderness surprising for you.
As his eyes meet your, he pulls up your shirt. You lift your arms up as he slides your shirt off of your body, his hands quickly wrapping around your waist, caressing your silky-smooth skin. His hands gently glide up your back until he feels your bra, unhooking it and slowly guiding it off of your body. The way your breasts naturally fall when your bra comes away from your body is simply perfection.
König’s leave a trail down your neck to your breasts, holding each one in his hands as he drops to his knees in front of you. His mouth hungrily latches to your nipple, sucking a licking, taking his time on each one. “You have such lovely nipples.” He groans into your skin.
Slowly, his hands drop down from your breasts, caressing your stomach before undoing your jeans. He pulls them down to your knees, moving one of his hands between your legs. There is a wet patch on your panties already forming.
“Mien Gott, you’re so wet. I have to taste you.” In almost a rush he pulls down your underwear and drops lower on your body. He shoves his face between your supple thighs, flicking his tongue out against any part of your pussy he could reach. Once he got a small taste of your sweet creamy cunt, he needed more.
König pulls back, grabbing at your shoes and tossing them to the side before pulling your jeans off completely. He grabs one of your legs and pulls it over his shoulder. You fall off balance, reaching out for him to stabilize yourself. His hands reach behind you and grasps your ass, squeezing as his tongue flicks over your cunt again.
Tiny moans flow from your lips as your head drops back. Your hands hold his head to your pussy as your feel his tongue move in circles and twist around your clit. You allow yourself to truly relax and enjoy the pleasure you’re receiving.
“I want to feel you, bury myself deep inside of this pussy.” He groans as he pulls back to gaze up at you. His eyes portray how in lust he is with you right now. It’s been nearly six years’ since he’s touched a woman and here you are; an angel from heaven simply fell into his lap.
König stands with your leg still over his shoulder, carrying you as if you weighed nothing, his hands holding you firmly by your rear. A surprised gasping giggle leaves your lips as he walks you to the bed. He places you down gently onto the bed, pulling down his boxers once his hands are free.
With your body pulled towards the edge of the bed, he grabs your thighs and pulls your legs back. He moves his hips to line his cock up with your vagina. His cock next to your cunt make you look so small. The rush of excitement that flows through him is unmatched by anything he’s felt in a long time.
Slowly, he pushes forward. His eyes focused on your face, watching the way your eyes widen slightly as the head of his cock parks your folds and slips into your tiny little cunt. A soft moan escapes you as your hands grab your legs, assisting in pulling them back.
König’s eyes watch your stomach and breasts before going back up to your eyes, watching as the pleasure floods your body. Your pupils expand, covering the color of your irises almost completely. Such a beautiful sight.
His hips roll slowly into you at first, letting you get adjusted to the size of his cock. He’s aware that he’s above average and doesn’t want to push you too far. Dropping his gaze, he watches the way his cock stretches your pussy lips apart, your walls hugging his cock tightly.
“König, yes.” You moan as your fingers dig into your legs, struggling to keep it together as he fucks you.
“Such a pretty voice.” He says breathlessly as he begins to pick up his pace, the small slapping sound of skin on skin being added to the beautiful melody of your moans. The feeling of you clenching around him drives him mad. “If you keep that up, I won’t last long.” König warns.
“Please don’t cum yet, your cocks so fucking good.”
König looks down at you with a low groan, his eyebrows pinch together, and he shakes his head. “Your cunt’s too tight, so fucking wet.” His hips move more rapidly as one hand moves to cup your breast, pinching your nipping between his fingers as he squeezes.
The fat on your thighs ripple as he slams into you. Your stomach and breasts look soft and inviting. You can feel your own wetness drip down from your pussy to your ass, wetting the bed sheets beneath you. König closes his eyes and drops his head back; a strong buildup of ecstasy takes over and he can’t ignore it.
He pulls out, to your disappointment, and pulls your legs more so that you're almost off of the bed. Grabbing your breasts, he rests his wet cock between them and begins to thrust forward. You spit on your breasts to add lubrication for him. His hands squeeze your breasts almost painfully tightly together.
A loud growl leaves his throat as he looks down at your breasts, completely swallowing his cock. One of your hands drops to your pussy to rub your clit in quick small circles. “Fuck!” König groans as he picks up his pace.
“Open your mouth.”
He steps back, jerking his cock quickly, focusing on the tip of his cock. A few small moans leave his lips before a spurt of his warm cum shoots out and lands in your mouth, dripping down your bottom lip. A few more land across your breasts and on your face.
You lean forward and suck the tip of his cock, swallowing the rest of his cum. König’s muscles twitch as your mouth wraps around his head, your tongue circling it and making it clean.  “God, y/n. You’re driving me crazy. Get on the bed, bent over.”
An excited look appears in your eyes as you realize he isn’t done with you yet. You stand, cum still on you, and bend over his bed. König walks up behind you, gazing at the heart shape your ass makes when you bend over like this. His large hand caresses the plumpness before he lines himself up with you again.
“I want to feel you cum on my cock.” König says before shoving his cock back inside of you.
The next morning you are waken up by the sun peaking through the curtains. You feel König’s muscular arms holding you close to him still, his head resting on your own as he breathes deeply. From where you lay, you can see his expensive watch resting on his dresser, you slowly start to take in everything in the room and think about how much money you could get from pawning all of it. But then your eyes land on König peacefully asleep and feel guilty for wanting to take form him. He’s been surprisingly…kind.
Your eyes go back to his watch, then back to him. With a deep sigh, you push his arms away from your body gently and sneak out of bed. Still naked you wake to his dresser and grab the watch to look at it more closely.
König feels you move so he opens one eye slightly to watch what you’re doing. He sees you holding the watch, inspecting it. His heart sinks slightly at the fact that he’s trusting you in his home and yet you are doing this. Instead of stopping you, he just pretends to sleep still, seeing what you would do.
He can feel the weight of your small body joining him back in bed. You move slowly so as to not wake König up, but his arms grab you, pulling you back to him. “I can buy you your own Hermès, if that’s what you’d like.”
You can feel your stomach drop, he saw you looking at his watch. “I wasn’t going to take it.” A lie, and you know he knows it’s one.
“I’m just letting you know; I can take care of you. You don’t have to steal anymore.” His sleepy voice is low and raspy. He reaches out and caresses the side of your face as you gaze at him with a guilty look on your face.
“We can go shopping before I drop you off.” König insists as he stretches, sitting up.
A small smile spreads across your lips as you realize you’ve landed in the lap of luxury. König is happy to share his wealth with you and you’re happy to accept it.

Saving Lives
Tumblr media
Summary: It was supposed to be your one day off, working tirelessly as an EMT earning you a well deserved rest day. But what happens when a last minute emergency leaves you worried about the person you love the most? Natasha Romanoff x Reader WC: 1,481 Warnings: EMT/Ambulance mentions, burning buildings, gun use, injuries, medical talk
Tumblr media
Natasha sits in the passenger seat of your car, the two of you driving through the city on your way back to the compound. Finally, you have the day off from your grueling job as an EMT. Although it’s incredibly fulfilling saving lives, there’s no denying it takes a lot out of you.
So, you’re glad to spend your day off having lunch with your closest friend, now heading back to the compound where you both reside. The Avengers took you in a while back—and even though you didn’t feel a desire to join their team, you found a similar passion for saving lives in a different way.
The quiet drive is suddenly interrupted by a loud alarm sounding from your phone, making you jump in your seat. “What is it?” You ask Natasha, keeping your eyes on the road. She flips your phone over to see what the ear-splitting notification is about.
URGENT: Requesting EMS 57th and Meadowdale - ALL AVAILABLE RESPONDENTS
“Shit, you’re being summoned to a call. On 57th and Meadowdale.” Natasha is well aware of your passion for saving lives and connecting with those through crisis, but she can easily see your frustration as you merge to head in the opposite direction.
“So much for a day off… I guess I’m glad we got some time together.” You give a disappointed smile, picking up your speed as there’s no time to waste in an emergency call.
Nat nods, but suddenly becomes preoccupied by her own phone. “Well, it looks like we’ll have a little more quality time.” She seems concentrated as you quirk a brow in confusion. “I’m being sent out on an emergency rescue too, on 57th and Meadowdale.” She smiles, holding up her phone to prove it.
Sure enough, there’s a request for her presence at the same scene. You move your gaze back to the road as red and white flashing lights appear in the city square. Your heart flutters nervously at the idea of all available EMS and superheroes being summoned. It must be bad if they’re in dire need for all this help.
You and Natasha waste no time hopping out of your parked car, the two of you still dressed in street clothes as you approach the scene.
“We’ve got multiple explosions up on the fifth floor. Dozens of people are wounded, and they keep coming.” A fellow EMT on the scene reports as he tends to a wounded civilian. You and Nat both nod as he explains. “We need someone to find out what’s causing the explosion, it’s all hands on deck here.”
Natasha exchanges a knowing glance with you. “I’ll go see what’s happening up there, wish me luck.” She voices before heading through piles of debris and shattered glass. You take a deep breath before rolling up your sleeves and diving right into action, beginning to work on a handful of victims at a time.
It’s hard to deny the growing nerves in your chest, the unknown of what lies in that building making you weary for what Natasha’s headed into. But there’s only so much room to think when countless lives are at risk, and you need to have ten hands to keep up with it all.
Suddenly, a loud bang ripples through the city as a cloud of flames erupts from the same building. You can’t help but wince, knowing Natasha’s already inside. What if she ends up like one of these other victims?
The urge to make sure she’s alright overtakes you, especially with sight of all these injured civilians. Any one of them could be Natasha right now. “I’ll be right back.” You tell the other EMTs, quickly peeling off your latex gloves and running through the growing debris.
“Wait! You can’t-“ The sounds of your coworkers are muffled as you enter the eerily quiet building. Your footsteps crunch as the glass beneath your feet shifts. The elevator is right in front of you, but you opt to take the stairs. Maybe it’s a gut feeling, but there’s no time to hesitate right now.
As you ascend all five flights of stairs, you hear yet another loud explosion. After taking cover while the ground shook beneath you, you’re finally on the fifth floor. Smoke floods into the stairwell as you exit, the entire floor shrouded with the effects of numerous explosions.
“Nat?” You call out, beginning to cough as the warm fog fills your already winded lungs. No response, just the sound of shuffling debris. There’s almost too much silence… “Nat!” You call out louder this time. The sound of gunshots makes you flinch, but the fear of who they’re directed at causes your anxiety to heighten.
Turning the corner into more thick smoke, you see a handful of figures moving through the dim hallway. There’s barely time to react as the smoke festers inside your chest, your vision blurring and mind becoming hazy. You’re an EMT for goodness sakes… get it together! You tell yourself, trying to swallow the emerging dizziness. But there’s no use, the effects of the explosions have rendered you powerless as you hit the hard floor.
“C’mon… please…” A violent cough escapes from your lungs as you hear a voice close by. You blink your eyes open, now feeling the cold floor beneath you. It takes a moment to regain your senses, all the while you notice a hand laying on your cheek.
“You seriously came up here knowing there would be smoke!” It’s easy to tell that Natasha’s the one right by your side, now taking your sudden consciousness as a chance to scold you.
Your only response is another cough. Natasha sighs, brushing your hair out of your face before lifting you up. It’s hard to tell what’s happening, but there’s obviously no immediate danger if Nat is acting this way.
The cool breeze that hits your face out on the street makes you finally take a deep breath. You don’t realize just how much oxygen you were missing until your lungs greedily suck in the fresh air. “We’ve got another casualty.” Nat tells someone across the way with a smirk.
You expect to be handed off to another EMT, but instead a crowd of faces you know even better file around. The Avengers stand inside the quinjet, seemingly waiting for something as Nat climbs aboard. That’s when you realize they’re waiting for you.
“Guys, I’m fine, please.” You voice, attempting to stand up as Nat places you on a medical exam table. But a loud cough interrupts your movement, the air in your lungs still trying to catch up.
Natasha guides you back down onto the bed. “Yeah, you’re not going anywhere. Just let us make sure everything’s alright first.” You roll your eyes, but still heed her words as you sit back down on the table.
Bruce does his usual check-up, the same routine you’re used to doing on so many people every single day. But this time, you’re the patient. It’s hard to shake the weird feeling of being on this side of things; if it weren’t for your attempt at being a superhero, you wouldn’t be in this position.
But at the end of the day, you wouldn’t change what you did. As Bruce finishes his once-over, you spot Natasha happily chatting with her teammates without a scratch. She glances back at you, a soft smile on her face. You return the expression, watching as she steps forward.
“Feeling better?” Natasha asks as Bruce finally packs up his first aid.
“Feeling like I could take on all those assailants.” You remark with a smirk, hopping off the table.
Natasha feels your forehead playfully. “Oh no! I think all the smoke went to her head,” she teases. “Bruce, we need to bring her ego down!”
You scrunch your nose, swatting her wrist away. As you look into her eyes, you can still see a glint of something behind Natasha’s eye. Like she’s still watching your every move—on edge, prepared for anything to happen.
“Hey, Nat. I’m sorry I went in the building… I just got worried and-“ You attempt to speak, but not before a certain someone interrupts.
“No, don’t apologize. I get why you did it, but I promise I can handle my own. As much as I love to save you from a burning building, you scared me pretty bad there. I’m glad you’re okay.” She voices. There’s no doubt you’re feeling guilty about your impromptu rescue, giving Natasha more work instead of less.
You sigh, nodding as Natasha pushes a stray strand of hair out of your face. “So much for a day off huh?” She comments. You chuckle, the original lazy day long forgotten now.
“After all that, we’re going back home and watching a movie.” You decide, linking your hand in hers while the jet engine roars to life.
“Deal.”

Hii ! I wanted to ask if you could do more yandere gangster.
A/N: here's a ramble that is similar to so many other fics/imagines but its ALL I CAN THINK OF RN...
CW: kidnapping, yandere themes, murder, illicit substances mentioned, weaponry, some suggestive thots, general dark content shtuff.
Tumblr media
Gangster! Yan who’s the right hand man to one of your city’s oldest gangs, the bosses family operating it since the prohibition era. Their main source of income back then was smuggling alcohol to different speakeasies and clubs, now mostly dabbling in the occasional shipment of opioids or small arms that they can get their hands on. Your gangster! Yan doesn’t handle that side of business, though. He’s been tasked to oversee deals, and the protection of the boss and whatever sweet treat he has on his arm for the evening.
When a ‘project’ goes haywire, he’s there to settle things. When someone needs to be taken care of, he oversees it while his boys do what they need to. And when there’s a witness to a particularly unsavory part of business, he personally sees to shutting them up.
That’s why he didn’t have a choice but to watch you, to learn your morning routine and stare intensely when you perused the grocery isles indecisively. The boss put him up to it, to dispose of every flaw in their seamless operations; countless times he entered your backdoor, breaking the lock you had just replaced due to his previous endeavor, watching you curl up in warm white sheets and smush your face against your pillow. Standing outside wasn’t an option anymore, his shadow from the window disturbed you, and it blocked the trickle of moonlight on your dewey skin.
Even with the small pistol in his hidden coat pocket, the crowbar he ued to pry the door open, the compulsion to rid you of what you had seen to appease his leader could not overtake the complete desire to rub his face into your chest, to have your thighs wrapped around his head like a sea of warmth, needing that earthy scent of your skin that somehow calmed his screaming heart to completely surround him.
What drew him to you was how alone you had been-- at home, at the scene of the crime, when you were out and about. Who would miss you? Who was there to take care of you? What would be the purpose to killing you? You hadn’t even gone to the police yet, despite the millions of questionable asks you submitted to reddit and looked up online for what to do after seeing a man’s murder.
The roughly edged gangster found it endearingly cute, so foreign to the life he had led. You had no way of stopping him if he completed what he was supposed to, no one to turn to if you suddenly found yourselves at the hands of a shady group of men who used you as a drug mule.
Gangster! Yan knew the kind of underlings his boss employed, easy men on probation or past druggies who wouldn’t think for a minute to stop from gobbling you up on the side of the street if you just so happened to walk down the wrong alley. Seeing as you had stupidly yet to make a distinct change your route after witnessing his gangs work, it could happen any day now.
He couldn’t let you fall prey to the men he didn’t have a leash on, nor let you continue to live in such suffocating solitude with that neutral look on your face forever. Even if it was only filled with fear from now on, from him-- he’d give you a better life than what you lived.
It was too easy to take you, too easy to drag you to his car, too easy to put you in the decent condo he had been paying for the past decade and barely came home to. Now, he had just realized, he’d have a real reason to come back home. He couldn’t just sleep the night away in shitty bars just to wake up to the next day of work. He had to take care of you, feed you, make sure you bathed.
Gangster! Yan was almost as surprised when he gave you the cold shoulder, heartlessly teasing you for your stupidity in walking down a known drug-trade neighborhood, for not having realized that he had stalked  you every. single. Day. as you were blind to his heavy, broad shadow of scars and grimaces.
You were so quietly willing to appease him, to scoot to his lap when he demanded it with a threatening hand over his pocket, pretending as if the empty space was a weapon. “Please don’t kill me” you asked neverendingly, every meek breath expecting a slap or a shove off. But the criminal held onto you tighter, hating the reminder that you weren’t a willing pet.
Even when your eyes faded back with ecstasy, your arms thrown around his shoulders with a grip that only a lover could offer, he saw the flinch you gave when he bent down to kiss you.
Even with his harsh spats that he throws at you for your mistakes, his belittlement, you are his comfort doll when he’s deal with hardships for the day. When the horrible things he’s done starts to get to him and the alcohol doesn’t drown it out,  or when one of his drop-offs go to shit, you’re the one he bee-lines for for to rant to, to make you stroke him and nod at how hard he’s worked. But his possessiveness is soul-crushing. His grip is painful when he holds you at night, his kisses rough against your mouth with his chain-smoker breath and chapped lips that haven’t been touched in ages.
But with you, he’s learned to take better care of himself. He already has you, wants you in every way, but he needs you to want him, to need him. So, coming home to shower, geling his hair back like he did as a young rookie, shaving his 5 o’clock shadow, he’s made himself into the perfect, respectable man-- or wannabe bad boy. But no amount of grooming could change your perception of the blood stained gangster that kept you in a cage before you were trustworthy enough to be chained to the bed.
“I’ve killed for you, who else could say that?”
“Been thinkin’ bout you all day, waiting here for me. Came home as fast as I could so you wouldn’t be lonely. A nobody like you can’t be left to your own devices for too long.”
“Won’t let no other fucker get a hold of you, you’re mine-- through and through. I’ll kill us both before something seperates us.

all of your replies from last chapter really made me chuckle, glad to see that the writing hit like it was supposed to lol
Tumblr media
Miguel refuses to let you go anywhere without getting checked out by somebody. A Spider-Doctor looks you over, poking and prodding at you. She asks you a bunch of questions, some miniscule and some strange.
“Does it hurt when I press here?”
“Is your vision blurry?”
“Does your body feel different on an atomic level?”
She deems you good to go. Your friends are all waiting for you outside the office. Miguel immediately hands you a Web-Watch before stalking off somewhere (grump, you swear). It feels heavenly in your grip. Man, how you missed it. You quickly wear it, placing it just under your web-shooters. The weight of it is reassuring.
With a glance at your friends, you feel a surge of gratitude for their unwavering support. “I should…”
Peter smiles, waving you off. “Go, kid.” The rest of them nod encouragingly. You almost want to cry at their understanding expressions. The watch beeps as you put in your destination. That familiar hum of the universe greets you as the portal opens up. With one last wave to them, you enter it.
Earth-143258
Queens, New York.
Home. You’re finally home.
You breathe in the air. It’s night time now. Avengers tower stands tall, a lighthouse providing a way home. The cool night air swirls around you, carrying with it echoes of past memories. You decide you’ll walk there.
As you walk through the familiar streets, the city feels simultaneously unchanged and yet subtly different. The sounds of the city—distant traffic, people chatting, the occasional siren—blend with the comforting hum of all that New York is.
The familiar sights and sounds evoke visuals, reminding you of the countless times you've swung through these very streets, fighting crime and protecting the innocent.
Passing by old haunts and familiar landmarks, your heart swells with a mix of nostalgia and determination. You catch glimpses of everyday life—families out for an evening stroll, street vendors closing up shop, and the occasional patrol car passing by. Each step feels like a reunion with a part of yourself that you've missed during your time away.
Avengers Tower looms ahead, its imposing silhouette against the night sky serving as a beacon of hope and security. With each stride, you feel more grounded, more connected to this world than ever before. As you approach the entrance to the main lobby, you pause for a moment, taking in the scene before stepping inside.
“Welcome home, [Name],” greets FRIDAY. It sounds like she’s smiling. The warmth in her voice is noticeable, almost as if the building itself is happy to see you return. The spacious, modern interior of the lobby feels like a sanctuary, a place where you've spent countless hours.
“Where’s… where’s everyone?”
“Would you like me to tell them you’re here?”
You swallow. “No, can you just. Can you tell me where they are?”
FRIDAY's voice, smooth and comforting, responds immediately, "Of course. Tony is in his lab, working on a new project. Natasha and Clint are in the training room, sparring. Steve is in the gym, and Bruce is in the kitchen.”
You nod, feeling a mix of relief and anticipation. It’s been too long since you’ve seen them, but you need a moment to gather yourself before facing even one of them. After a few moments of reflection, you stand up, feeling more grounded. It’s time to reconnect with your team, your family. You decide to head to the lab first. You have to see Tony first.
The lab is a hive of activity, filled with the hum of machinery and the soft glow of various screens. The familiar sights and sounds embrace you like a well-worn glove. Tony is hunched over a workbench, tinkering with what looks like a new piece of tech. For a moment, you simply watch him, the flickering lights casting shadows on his face.
“Hey, Tony,” you call out softly, your voice carrying a mix of emotions.
Tony freezes, pausing his work. He turns around slowly, and for a heartbeat, his expression is unreadable. “I’ve officially gone crazy. I’m seeing things.”
You step further into the lab, your heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and excitement. Tony's gaze remains fixed on you, his eyes narrowing slightly as if trying to discern whether you're real or a figment of his imagination.
You chuckle softly, trying to ease the tension. "If you're seeing things, then we both are, because I'm definitely standing right here."
Tony sets down his tools, his eyes scrutinizing. "Well, I'll be damned. Look who decided to drop back in from the multiverse." His sass seems infinite.
He strides over, and before you know it, you're enveloped in a bear hug that speaks volumes of relief and genuine affection. "You’re here," he murmurs, his voice gruff and wavering. “You came back.”
You smile, eyes watering. “Miss me?”
“Every damn day,” he replies fiercely. “It’s been months, kid.”
Your heart tightens at his words, and suddenly the dam breaks. A choked sob escapes you without your permission. You bury yourself deeper in Tony’s embrace. Tony only holds you tighter. The weight of everything comes crashing down on account of you finally letting go of everything you’ve been holding in for far too long.
Tony feels like a lifeline, grounding you in a flood of emotions built up. You’ve longed to feel this safe since you first landed in the other universe. His silent reassurance speaks volumes. There is no need for words in this moment, only the warmth in familiarity.
Tony doesn’t pull back until you do, brushing a hand down your face to wipe away your tears. “You wanna go see the others?”
You nod, feeling a rush of gratitude for Tony's understanding as you sniffle. Tony asks FRIDAY to gather your folk into the common room. He fills the silence with mindless chatter about what’s happened since you’ve been away—small little missions here and there, new tech he demanded Miguel to learn about.
“Oh, I’ve gotta let Wanda and Strange know you’re back. Wanda especially has been a little restless.”
“You asked them for help?”
He looks at you. “You were suddenly stranded in the multiverse. Why wouldn’t I?”
Your legs feel so numb you’re not sure how they still work. “Right.” A realization overwhelms you with a sense of belonging. It’s a feeling you haven’t felt in a while.
When you enter the common room, a wave of nostalgia hits you. You just want to sink into the comfy couches and take a three year nap. It feels like stepping back into a cherished memory. Natasha and Clint are already there, looking up as you and Tony walk in. Natasha’s eyes widen imperceptibly, you’re surprised you catch it. Clint’s usual expression breaks into a warm smile.
“Hey, stranger,” Clint says, voice barely above a whisper. His smile is warm, genuine, and it feels like coming home.
“We were starting to think you were avoiding us.” Natasha’s steps toward you are careful and coordinated, everything about her is. But her eyes are softened.
You manage a watery laugh. “Missed you guys too.”
Natasha is the first to move, closing the distance between you with her characteristic grace. She wraps you in a hug that is both gentle and firm, conveying unspoken words of relief and joy. It surprised you greatly, her willingness to openly show affection like this.  Clint follows suit, patting you on the back with a warm hand.
“Steve’s on his way,” Natasha says, stepping back but keeping a hand on your shoulder. “He’s been worried sick.”
Bruce arrives next, hair messy. His eyes dart around the room, landing on you. He breathes a sigh of disbelief, crossing the room to get to you. Bruce's hug is tentative at first, as if he's afraid you might disappear. But when he feels the solid warmth of your form, his grip tightens.
“Hey, kid.” It’s all you need to hear. You smile and wrap your arms around him.
“Hi.”
Before long, Steve bursts into the room, his expression a mixture of disbelief and joy. His eyes widen slightly when he sees you, and for a moment, he seems rooted to the spot. Then, with a few long strides, he closes the distance between you.. “You’re really here,” he says, pulling you into a hug that almost lifts you off your feet.
You return the hug with equal fervor, feeling the tension and weight of your absence melt away in the embrace of your friends, your family. “Where’s Bucky?”
“Currently breaking several traffic laws to get here,” he chuckles, letting you go reluctantly.
“And Pepper?” you ask Tony, looking over Steve’s shoulder at him.
Tony blinks. “FRIDAY, please tell Pepper [Name]’s back.” You roll your eyes, not really surprised. “She’s out right now,” Tony says, giving a winning smile. “Nevermind that, let’s throw a party.”
Chuckles fill the room as Tony rounds behind the bar. Typical Tony, ever the partygoer. “Can I drink too?”
Tony squints at you, so you pull out the puppy eyes. “Come on, I deserve it. I was so far from home,” you pout.
“One drink. One,” he points at you, turning to grab you a bottle to pour.
“They’re not legal, Tony–” cuts in Steve, because of course.
“Don’t be a party pooper, Cap.” Tony passes you your drink. You grin at Steve as you sip it. “You’re a bit of a rule breaker yourself.”
Steve chuckles, shaking his head in mock disapproval as he takes a seat nearby. You imagine a warm blanket settling on you after a long night. Everyone gathers around, sharing stories and catching up on what has transpired during your absence.
Sam shows up with Bucky, walking towards you with a grin and his arms out. You don’t think you’ve ever received so many hugs in one night before. Bucky awkwardly pats your head, then pokes it for “leaving us so long.”
Wanda shows up next, dragging Vision behind her. She smiles widely upon seeing you, looking a little wistful. You kind of wish the drinks you’d been sneaking could take effect. Cursed super metabolism. Too many emotions have been felt tonight.
"Wanda," you say warmly, reaching out to embrace her. She returns the hug with a heartfelt squeeze, her voice tinged with relief. “I’m so glad you’re alright.”
Vision nods, a faint smile on his lips as he greets you warmly. Wanda’s eyes shimmer with unshed tears as she embraces you tightly, whispering how much she missed you. “Strange sends his regards,” sniffles Wanda, fondly brushing her fingers against your forehead.
The doors to the common room slide open again, and this time, it's Pepper who walks in. Her eyes widen as she takes in the sight of you standing there, and she rushes forward, enveloping you in a tight hug. "I can't believe it," she murmurs, her voice trembling with emotion. "Welcome home."
You feel your heart squeeze. You would’ve thought she wouldn’t be able to meet you tonight, since she had prior plans, but here she is. For you.
Throughout the night, amidst the laughter and shared stories, you find yourself reconnecting not just with your friends (read: family), but with a part of yourself that had felt lost. Tony asks FRIDAY to play your favorite song.
Tony's eyes study you carefully. "You sure you're okay?"
“I’m home, Tony,” is all you say.
He seems to relax at that, nodding slowly. “You are, and we’re not letting you out of our sight anytime soon."
The night outside is calm, New York’s lights twinkling like stars. The moment feels precious. You wish you had your camera to capture it.
Your camera that was gifted to you back in the other universe.
Hm.
You're fingers start to fidget with your green and blue bracelet.
Eventually, the revelry winds down. Everyone bids their goodnights, and you find yourself standing on the balcony of Avengers Tower, gazing out at the cityscape that stretches before you.
The night air is cool against your skin, carrying with it a sense of peace and contentment. You take a deep breath, letting the moment wash over you. In the quiet of the night, with the city bustling below, you feel a renewed sense of self.
You will all your worries away. You’re right where you need to be. You’re heart must truly lie here.
You find that your room is the same as you left—comfortable, familiar, and filled with reminders of your life here. Pictures litter the walls, ones of you, of your friends, you with your friends. The bed is inviting, and you collapse onto it, exhaustion mingling with the exhilaration of being back home.
You reach for your Web-Watch, now resting beside you on the bedside table. It's a tangible reminder of where you've been and where you are now. In the other universe, you felt like you were constantly flying. Never a moment’s rest. At the very least, you were flying with people you liked.
But here, in this room, surrounded by mementos and the quiet hum of the city outside, you feel grounded. This is your home, your family, and they've welcomed you back with open arms.
No matter, now you just want to sleep. You nestle into the softness of the pillows, allowing the weariness of your journey and the emotional release to finally catch up with you. Your thoughts are a jumble of faces and voices, memories and new beginnings.
Sleep comes easily, cradling you in its embrace as you drift off into a deep, restful slumber.

Gwen’s Earth has always been pretty. Soft hues captivate you. It’s a world where the sky seems perpetually painted in pastels, casting a serene glow over the city below. Since you dipped on them last time to go home, they’ve decided that today is hang out time.
It’s always a sort of dance, swinging with the others. You and Gwen are more effortless in your grace, Pav comes close. The two of you twirl around each other, feeling the rush of wind and the freedom of the swing. The cityscape blurs past, a vibrant tapestry of lights and shadows.
“Show offs!” yells Miles, a ways behind you. Gwen's laughter rings out beside you, a melody of happiness that lifts your spirits even higher. The two of you share a glance, matching grins under your masks.
Miles zips past with a playful whoop, joining in the aerial dance with his own unique flair. He’s getting faster with his swinging. Hobie passes by as well, bumping you with his shoulder teasingly. You all swing through the cityscape, weaving between skyscrapers and navigating the intricate web of New York's skyline.
As the night winds down, you find yourselves perched atop a familiar rooftop, looking out over the city sprawled beneath you. The lights of the city twinkle like stars, a breathtaking sight that never fails to inspire awe.
"I missed you guys," you admit, the words carrying a weight of sentimentality. "Being here, with all of you."
“Awe,” coos Pav, hands squishing his cheeks.
Miles grins, nudging you playfully. "You’re the one that disappeared on us.”
You laugh, feeling a surge of gratitude for these friends who have become your family across dimensions. "I promise, no more disappearing acts without warning."
With a final glance at the city below, you feel a sense of peace settle over you. In this moment, you’re surrounded by friends who care about you. Who could ask for more?
Together, you watch the sunrise paint the sky in hues of orange and pink, a new day dawning over the city that never sleeps.
“So…” hums Gwen, hands behind her back. You raise an eyebrow at her. “What was it like?”
You shake your head good-naturedly at her. Pav nods at her, looking at you. “Yeah, what did you do there?”
“Well for starters,” you clap your hands together, turning to face them all. “You guys got DC comics in your universe?”
“Like, Superman and stuff?” ask Miles.
You nod. He blinks. “No way.”
“Yes way,” you chuckle at their reactions, enjoying the disbelief on their faces. “Yeah, and guess where I landed.”
“Central City?”
“Themyscira!”
“Metropolis?”
You suck in air through your teeth dramatically. “Gotham.” They share a wince. Seems about right. "It's like someone took the grittiest, darkest parts of New York and turned them up to eleven," you explain, gesturing animatedly. "Never a dull moment. You've got Batman and the whole Batfamily running around. Don’t go to a carnival because Poison Ivy will attack it.”
Gwen raises an eyebrow. "Wait, you hung out with the Batfamily?"
You nod. “Yeah, I got like, initiated. I got myself enrolled in school, and Damian Wayne got involved. That snowballed into me getting involved with their superhero world, ‘cause you know, I wasn’t gonna stop being Spinnerette.”
Hobie fist bumps you in agreement. “Met Superboy, he’s a real sweetie. Consequently met his parents, and holy shit, Lois Lane is so cool.” Gwen nods hard in agreement. “I also technically made history when I remade Tony Stark's new element.”
You shrug at their stares. “I was trying to build a watch to get back home!” you defend, then turn to Hobie. “Which, by the way, you have to teach me how you did it. I’d rather not get stranded again, thank you.”
“Sounds like you had a blast over there,” teases Gwen, hooking her arm around you.
You scoff. “Once I got past the looming realization that I could be stuck there forever and never see my friends and family again, sure.” It’s a joke, but not really. “It was a bit unfair, I guess. I knew just about everything about them and they knew nothing about me. But I did… make friends there.”
“Just friends?” Pav leans in. You gulp, remembering what happened just before Miguel found you.
“Just friends,” you huff, shoving Pav back playfully. “Damian’s about as complicated as you’d expect, but he’s a good friend. Touchier than I thought he’d be. Intense, blunt, but still kind. And Jon’s… Jon’s Jon,” you continue, thinking back on your life in Gotham. “Real sweet, like I said. Earnest, kind, and desperately needs some brown contacts,” you chuckle fondly. “They’ve got a dynamic going on. But they’re also… just people. Like us.”
“Sounds like a really crazy telenovela,” hums Miles.
“Trust me, it was,” you agree, thinking of the rollercoaster of emotions and events you experienced. “But it was also… eye-opening. I learned a lot about myself, about what I’m capable of, and about what really matters to me.”
You lean back on your hands. “I just hope everything's okay. I kind of just… left.”
“You wanna go back?”
You hesitate, considering the question carefully. “Part of me does. I left things unfinished. But another part of me…” You glance at your friends, feeling a swell of warmth in your chest. “Another part of me knows that this is where I belong. With you guys. With my family.”
“Damn right,” says Gwen, punching you lightly in the arm.
“They don’t need me, anyway. I just hope they’re not too worried.” The sunrise bathes the rooftop in golden light, casting long shadows and warming the cool morning air. You take a deep breath, feeling at peace with your decision. For now, in this moment, you’re exactly where you need to be.

gachapon machines with bokuto was a small mistake. upon walking around the streets of the bustling city, your aimless journey with each others company somehow landed you in front of an array of different wind up machines, all filled with an assortment of different capsuled collectables. ranging from plushies, can badges, keychains— all the sort. the two of you deciding to take closer inspection of every wind up machine to see what was available to randomly receive in exchange of a few coins.
“kou, this ones cute!” you called out to bokuto, who turned from the machine of nostalgic mini figures of some childhood animation he once enjoyed. he stepped close behind you, large toned body against your much plush and softer one. large hands firmly squeezed around your pudgy hips to stabilize himself as moved forward to observe the selection of keychains inside the machine you were looking at.
a variety adorable little mascot keychains were displayed, your voice amused as you exclaimed, “this one kinda reminds me of you!” he glanced over to see your expression, an intrigued look of awe exhibited onto your features as you looked at cute assortment. especially at the little owl keychain you were specifically eyeing. a light breath of a chuckle bubbled from bokuto, and without question, he pulled out a few coins from his wallet, and already placing them into the gachapon, winding up the machine.
he nodded for you to take the capsule now sitting idly for your taking. a small exchange of gratitude was conveyed from your lips, before popping open the keychains plastic confinement.
a little cat appeared, to which, bokuto snickered. reminded of an old friend instantly, a mental image of said friend flashing his mind. though, it wasnt the owl you wanted, so he pulled out more coins for you— another attempt to keep going.
though when it still wasnt it, he kept going. and going… and going…
you told him to stop countless of turns ago, but each time he kept insisting, “just one more time…”
eventually, he did get the little owl that reminded you of him so much. a small exclamation of victory exchanged between you both, and the glimmer of happiness in your eyes was well worth the efforts to bokuto. even though he drained the machine of all its contents until you got what you wanted. still, it was well worth it.
maybe he’ll just hand out the extra 30 keychains he rolled to his teammates and volleyball fans…

Yandere Gojo Satoru
TW: non-con, stalking, obsession, out of character Gojo, rushed fic.
In the labyrinthine sprawl of Tokyo, where the city breathed in neon and exhaled shadows, there was a girl named Darling.
Her name, though simple, carried with it a resonance of warmth and affection—a name that mirrored the essence of her spirit. Darling was a young woman of unassuming charm, a tender blossom amidst the concrete jungle, oblivious to the darker currents that surged beneath the city's vibrant facade.
She had come to Tokyo in search of knowledge, her heart brimming with dreams and aspirations. Yet, in her naivety, she remained unaware that her every step was being traced, her every movement observed by a pair of eyes as blue as the boundless sky. These were the eyes of Satoru Gojo, the most formidable sorcerer of his time, a man whose power transcended mortal comprehension. But power alone had never captivated him— until he saw her.
It was a chance encounter in Shibuya, or so it seemed. Darling, with her soft smile and gentle demeanor, had been perusing a flower stall, her fingers brushing against the delicate petals of lilies and roses. In that moment, she had unknowingly ensnared the attention of a man who could bend reality to his will, yet found himself powerless in the face of her innocence.
For Gojo, it began as a curiosity—a fleeting intrigue. He had seen countless people, their lives mere blips in the vast expanse of time, but Darling was different. There was an ethereal quality to her, a purity that stood in stark contrast to the corruption he had witnessed in the world. Her very existence seemed to beckon to something primal within him, something possessive.
As days passed, Gojo found himself gravitating towards her, orchestrating
"coincidental" meetings with a precision that only he could master. He engineered moments where their paths would cross: a shared ride in an elevator, a brief conversation at a café. Each interaction was a thread in the intricate web he wove around her, binding her to him ever so subtly. And Darling, in her trusting nature, saw nothing but serendipity in these encounters. She laughed at his jokes, blushed at his compliments, and began to think of him as a guardian of sorts-an enigmatic figure who appeared whenever she felt the slightest bit lost.
Yet, for all her innocence, Darling was not a fool. There were moments when she felt a strange disquiet, a sense of being watched even when she was alone. But whenever she tried to voice these feelings, she found herself silenced by Gojo's reassuring presence. His charm was undeniable, his concern for her genuine-or so she thought. What Darling couldn't perceive was the darkness festering behind those cerulean eyes, the way his affection had curdled into something far more dangerous.
Gojo's desire for Darling had grown into an obsession, a consuming need to possess her wholly. The idea of her with anyone else, even in the most innocuous of interactions, filled him with a rage that he struggled to contain. He began to view the world through a distorted lens, seeing threats where there were none, and enemies in those who merely existed near her. In his mind, Darling was his, and his alone.
One evening, after a late lecture, Darling found herself walking through the dimly lit streets, the city's usual hum subdued by the encroaching night. The air was heavy with a sense of foreboding, though Darling, lost in thought, barely noticed. Her mind wandered to Gojo, to the strange magnetism he seemed to exude, and the inexplicable comfort she felt in his presence. Yet, beneath that comfort was a growing unease, a flicker of something she couldn't quite name.
As she turned down a quiet alley—a shortcut she had taken many times before
-Darling froze. There, standing beneath the weak glow of a streetlamp, was Gojo.
His tall figure cast an elongated shadow that seemed to stretch out towards her like a spectral hand. His face, usually lit with a disarming smile, was now a mask of inscrutable intent.
"Darling," he murmured, his voice a soft caress that sent shivers down her spine.
"I've been waiting for you."
There was something in his tone that unsettled her, a possessiveness that she had never noticed before. It was as though the gentle flirtations and casual conversations they had shared were stripped away, leaving behind only the raw, unfiltered truth. She hesitated, taking a small step back, but Gojo was already moving towards her, his presence overwhelming in the narrow space.
"Gojo-san," she began, her voice faltering. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to protect you," he said, his words laden with a weight she didn't understand. "You don't know how dangerous this world can be, Darling. You need someone like me to keep you safe."
The intensity in his gaze, the fervor in his voice, struck her like a physical blow. This was not the man she thought she knew.
This was someone else entirely, someone whose affection had twisted into something dark and suffocating. Panic began to rise in her chest as she tried to take another step back, but Gojo was faster, his hand reaching out to gently-but firmly-grasp her wrist.
"You don't need to be afraid," he whispered, his breath warm against her ear as he leaned in. "I won't let anything happen to you. I'll always be here, Darling. Forever."
Darling's heart pounded in her chest, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and fear.
She had no idea how deeply Gojo's obsession ran, how far he was willing to go to keep her by his side. To him, she was no longer just a person-she was his, a possession he would guard jealously, even against her will.
As the night closed in around them, Darling realized too late that she had become ensnared in a web.

A/N: I'd just like to say that I'm in absolute awe about the reactions to FALLING, really! I was very hesitant to post something that I've wrote but now I can't help but to be super excited laknkdns Seriously, thank you guys SO much for it! Here's part two, I hope you enjoy it <3
PART 1 - FALLING
PART 3 - US
After a couple of years living the best and worst of her life, Alexia promised herself a break. A year where she would be one hundred percent focused on football and herself. She had a lot to catch up with her family and with being comfortable with herself after her injury.
Everything had been going fairly well on that front until Y/N arrived in Barcelona. Alexia remembered the bright-eyed teenager, far too young to be playing in the u-19 team, being playing great, nonetheless. Watching the teen leave absolutely everything even when they were down 4-0 made Alexia respect her immediately and to keep up with her career whenever she could.
The Y/N was far from the shy teenager that Alexia first met, but still so terrifyingly similar. Her first few weeks in Barcelona passed in a blur, but not a good one. The midfielder and the rest of the team barely interacted with the newest signing and when it happened, which was strictly at practice since she didn’t join them when they spend time together, it was mostly through the shortest sentences possible.
Alexia realized the smallest flinch from Y/N whenever someone spoke to her in Spanish. She didn’t mean to and was honestly certain nobody else, even yourself, realized it. Then every downed on her.
Her time playing with Espanyol and Levante was weird. She was still in her home, still in her country, still in her city, but everything was just so different. Her teammates, the team culture, everything made her doubt herself for the first few months. A new country, a new city, a new language, a whole new culture? Alexia could not fathom that.
Settling in making Y/N feel home, Alexia now spent most of her time dedicating herself to her. They were partners in every training drill, spending their time together doing the heavy speaking in English. When she was home, countless of hours on YouTube were split between watching highlights of Y/N through the years and on tutorials about the best ways to make someone feel welcomed.
She wasn’t sure why and at that point she didn’t care enough to ask, but she needed Y/N to feel at home in Barcelona. When her attempts were going well, but too slowly for her liking, she was running out of patience.
Walking Nala down the streets was something she was doing a lot lately, lost in thoughts about Y/N. The little furball got tired after twenty minutes of their walk, making Alexia pick her up, only then realizing where she was.
In front of her stood her favourite chocolate store, the best in the entire Spin if anyone asked her. Deciding to buy a bar a pick-me-up for the moment, she walked into the store, greeting to small family that owned the business and making small talk.
Picking the small bar of milk chocolate, her hand unconsciously hovered on a second one, for Y/N. With her own bar clutched in her hand, she stood in front on the chocolate bars display, not knowing which one was your favourite. After a few minutes of contemplation, she grabbed one of every single chocolate the store held, giving the owner a sheepish smile as the old man raised his eyebrows at her purchase.
It was a Thursday when she got the guts to approach Keira to ask such a random and somewhat personal question. The Englishwoman responding very confusedly, making Alexia bolt before she could ask any follow up question on why.
Going to her car to retrieve the precious bar on a break from practice, Alexia slipped it in her locker before any of the girls could see and went back. When training was over, she managed to catch up with Y/N on an empty hallway by the pitch, telling her that it was okay to be with the team even if you weren’t in “Spanish Mode” yet, they just wanted your presence.
When she sees the realization down on Y/N eyes, she confirms that she didn’t even realize what was happening. Knowing that, if you were anything like herself, a whole moment of self-reflection would follow the realization. Alexia slips that chocolate bar on her hands and squeezes her shoulder as she leaves.
The unknown feeling growing in her gut through the rest of the day and the next one too, unsure if she overstepped or not. It was the team’s first Friday off since preseason and she was so desperately uneasy about it, unsure if she made things worse.
Walking into their usual restaurant, Alexia felt her heart skip a beat as she hears Y/N laugh at something Frido said, the smile brighter than everything around. Settling herself in the seat in front of her, being greeted with a smile and a warm gaze, a silent “thank you” written all over it.
It wasn’t long until everything was fitting together. The team quickly welcoming her into the family and their routine stronger than ever. It wasn’t until she refused the invitation to hang out with her friends for the sixth week in a row and got called out on it that Alexia realized that Thursdays had became their day.
She was fine with sharing Y/N with the team the whole time but was so deeply grateful to have her for herself on Thursdays. Sharing their passion for football, exploring the city, and cooking together had quickly became the favourite part of Alexia’s week.
Days bled into weeks, which bled into months, and everything was perfect. It wasn’t far from Winter Break when she went to lunch with the Putellas, this time without Y/N, and got asked where her girlfriend was that Alexia realized her feelings.
Loving Y/N was disturbingly easy, Alexia though laying in bed later that day. She’d been doing it for months now. Every moment of her days she wanted her there and every moment of her night she dreamt about her.
The warmness of her discovery was slowly cooled by the realization that had already broken her promise to herself. The heartbreak of her past relationships sucker puncher her into choking down a sob, knowing that she could not take that once again, not from Y/N.
The next month passed in a haze. Alexia felt like the biggest liar, and she smiled, making sure no one could see past it. It wasn’t until she reached home that she allowed herself to crack, suffering from a paralyzing fear of having her heart broken before she even gave it away once more.
It was on their Thursday that she felt herself cracking, knowing she couldn’t be alone with Y/N, cuddled up on a couch, being surrounded by her. Texting her asking to go out instead was easy, choosing Sala Apollo came unconsciously because, even if she could be alone with Y/N, she still did not want to share her on their day.
Breathtaking. Jaw dropping. Beautiful.
Words only came to Alexia brain a few beats after Y/N opened her door or them to go out. A stutter complimenting her was the only thing the Catalonian managed to slip out before she was dragged out of the apartments complex by hand and getting in the Uber.
The decision to drink that night was a well though out one. On one hand she felt like she needed a couple of drinks to function near the younger woman that moment, but she was well aware that her inhibitions lowered considerably. She chose to drink.
Dancing with her, Alexia felt every single part of her on fire. Whenever the touched, for the briefest seconds, her heart skipped a beat, and her breath was taken away. Hands slipping on Y/N waist, pulling her closer, was a necessity.
When Y/N perfume hit her nostrils, Alexia knew she was gone. Losing any shred on self-control, Y/N was the entire world right now. Hands roaming, lips finding the skin on her neck, sucking, and biting like her life depended on it. Maybe it did. Y/N turned around to kiss her and when their lips met Alexia was sure she was in heaven.
Going home, staying up the whole night, discovering each other in so many ways was everything Alexia ever dreamed of. The warm, sweaty tanned skin against her, made her overflow. She was everything.
Waking up on the next day to a cold bed made her choke. Reality crashed down, eyes glassing as she though she was being left once again. Minutes passed, with Alexia trying desperately to not cry before she heard the noise in the kitchen.
Slipping a shirt in, she stopped on the threshold, watching Y/N happily making them breakfast. Somehow, that made her hurt more. The thought that she could have left, that she the worst of you for just keeping their routine. It made her feel sick.
She knew then that she was not ready. The feelings she held for those tortuous moment where far worse than any previous heartbreak. Just the thought that Y/N left almost broke her. Alexia knew right then that she could not be with Y/N right now, no matter how much she ached for her.
Alexia was not enough for Y/N right now.
When she turned around, spotting her tucked in a corner of her own apartment, Y/N looked at her like she hung the sun, the moon and everything else. Her breathes came out ragged as Y/N came closer, warm smile and sparkling eyes still in place.
“This was a mistake.” Alexia choked out before she came any closer. The Spaniard knew that any poor excuse that she came would never be enough.
Y/N steps haltered, no more then a couple of meters away from her, lips parting and heart breaking. Alexia could see the younger woman opening and closing her mouth, frown in place, trying to come up with an answer.
“Oh.” The word came out in a breathless sound, after what felt like a whole eternity. “I’m sorry. I’ll get out of your hair now.”
“Y/N” The blonde called, holding the other woman’s wrist, desperately not wanting her to go, despite messing everything up.
“It’s okay, Alexia. We will be okay. We are okay.” She said, slipping her wrist out of Alexia’s grasp, shutting the door after her.
She took her heart with her. Any will to do anything and joy left right after them. Falling to the floor, on the same corner that everything became a mess, Alexia let herself be mess too. Sobs wreaking her body for hours, only getting up to crawl to bed when night came.
Days came and went, turning into weeks, and Alexia was still broken. She could not look at Y/N without breaking. That was reserved for the privacy of her place, where she didn’t have to be the Alexia Putellas, where she wasn’t a symbol of strength. Strong was the last thing she felt in those months.
Months passed by before Alexia even saw anyone after practice. She missed team bonding, birthdays, media duties, her own family. A knock on the door broke her out of the pit of misery of the day, making her drag her feet through the floor, feeling like her legs weighted a thousand kilos.
The grinning face of her childhood best friend greeted her when she opened the door. The grin quickly lost the place when Ana actually saw her. Pushing past her and settling down on the couch after opening a bottle of wine, the woman looked at her with an expectant gaze.
Alexia knew she could tell her the truth. Ana was her friend enough to just call her stupid and tell her to beg for forgiveness. But she didn’t know Y/N, didn’t know Alexia’s feelings. So, the blonde settled for a lie.
Maybe the lie was too good, because the very next day, she showed up with her girlfriend and another woman. A surprise double date, she said. The woman was great, there was nothing wrong with her. In fact, Alexia was sure that if she did not love Y/N so deeply she would have giver her a chance. But she was not her.
The next day, a Friday, Mapí and Marta coaxed the date out of her. Not that it was much to tell, Alexia herself was only half present for it, but it was enough. Enough because Y/N arrived in the locker room just as the defenders teased her about it. Y/N lips trembled when she heard the word date and that was enough to bring tears that were never shed to Alexia’s eyes.
She cancelled lunch with her family again on the weekend. She hadn’t gone back ever since they asked her about Y/N, too scared that they would see her, that they knew. Preparing herself for another day the bare minimum for herself, her door opened. Alba standing on the doorstep. Alexia never saw her baby sister look so angry.
“What the fuck is wrong with you, Alexia?” the younger sister growled, entering the apartment. “Mamá is pit of worry because you look like someone has been running over you with their car everyday for the past year!”
“I’m sorry.” Alexia choked, flinching away from her sister.
She didn’t even realize that the tears, her current best friend, has already spilled out of her eyes and found home running down on her cheeks until Alba cradled her face, holding her in a hug. They laid on the comfortable couch for hours before Alexia managed to stop crying, her sister not laxing her hold for any second, whispering quiet reassurances at her every few moments.
“Ale, what’s going on?”
“I fucked it up.” She breathed out, before telling her everything.
That day was months ago. Surprising her, Alba didn’t judge her, didn’t jump the gun as usual, she held her, reassured her and gave really good advice. Which brought her to now.
Alexia spent the last few months talking extensively to her therapist about it, about everything. Her heartbreak, her injury, falling in love again. She wasn’t better yet, but she was in a much better place than before. More than wanting Y/N to love her back again, she needed her in her life, even if she had thrown away her only chance of them spending their lives together.
Today marked a whole month that Alexia came every day to Y/N doorstep, looking at the piece of wood that stood between her and the love of her life for hours, too much of a coward to knock. Finishing the cup of coffee that the awfully familiar doorman gave her from his on stash, she got up, standing in front of the door.
She had been in that exact place far too often, never knocking. Lifting her fist, she banged against the door before loosing her courage once again, like she had done far too many times.
Y/N opened her door and took Alexia’s breath away. She stood there, with a little black dress, light makeup coating her face and heels that put her just a little bit shorter than the Catalonian. The blonde felt her mouth dry at the sight of her, hands trembling away, tucked into her hoodie.
She felt like she had stood there, forever, just taking Y/N in, appreciating her, breathing her in. The younger woman was everything. She had always been everything. Her impossibly soft gaze, even now, asked Alexia what she was doing there.
“I was hoping we could have our usual Thursday? I have a lot that I need to say to you.”

Your stay in Penacony thus far has been an..interesting one.
After entering the dreamscape, you were transported to a place known as Golden Hour, a bustling city district where shops and food vendors flourish with countless dreamchasers flocking to see their merchandise. Surprisingly, you had stumbled into the Trailblazer while walking down the street, making small conversation before the two of you parted ways. They seemed to be muttering something about ‘origami birds’ when they scurried off..how strange…
Nonetheless, you continued weaving through crowds of dreamchasers, eyeing the different stores with their bright and..lively advertisements. You found the little creatures strange but intriguing, chuckling at the way they would hop around and follow you. But to your horror, as you crossed the street so did the little billboard, getting run over in the process. You went to help it back up but by the time you got to it, it had already picked itself up and left.
“All of this feels like a weird fever dream instead of a dream… People should really be cautious when driving here even if we can’t get hurt.” You muttered, shaking your head before walking up a flight of stairs.
The place you were now at was called Aideen Park. Casino machines were lined in circles with a bigger one as a building, a small bar and lounge area, and a band playing in the middle of it all. You stared at the scenery in awe, taking a small stroll around the park and using the few Aideen coins you had to test your luck with the slot machines. Despite your dull luck, you still had a fun experience with the huge slot machine that towered above you.
“Better luck next time, I guess...” You sighed, sulking over to the mini bar area they had for dreamchasers. Taking a seat at one of the stools, the bartender had come over to you to take your order.
“I’ll take–”
“Personally, the Classic Soul Glad isn’t that bad of a drink. You should try some, friend.” A voice interjected, coming from the seat beside you.
Turning to your left, you were met by the same blond bastard who stirred some trouble up at the reception desk.
“We meet again, _____,” Aventurine smirked, his glasses tipped forward while swirling the contents of his glass.
Before you could politely decline and order the drink you were going to order, the bartender had already walked off to start making it. With a sigh, you turned your gaze to the right to eye the suddenly enticing exit.
“Come now, don’t treat me like a stranger. We’re friends after all!” He gave you a shit-eating grin, leaning forward to wrap his arm around your stiff shoulders. “If I recall, friends don’t just ignore each other.”
“Neither do friends stalk one another on their way to their hotel room, but here we are.” You grunted, shrugging off his arm. Aventurine held up his hand to his chest, a big frown on his face.
“You wound me, _____.” He dramatically cried, slumping against the counter.
“Don’t be such a drama queen Aventurine.” You rolled your eyes, bringing up the glass of Soul Glad the bartender slid over to you.
“I’d rather be a drama queen than a boring one.” You heard him mumble, taking a sip of his own drink. Rolling your eyes, you chose to look at whatever the TV was displaying. Not to your surprise, it played a bizarre advertisement for the Charmony Festival, bright colors and patterns fluttering across the screen. Looking at its dizzying display started making your head hurt, so you turned your attention to something else. Anything but the man that was sitting next to you.
“How are you liking the festivities so far? Anything caught your interest?” His voice snapped you out of your thoughts, reluctantly turning to face him so you could respond.
“Mm, I’ve been looking at some of the stores… Other than that, nothing else really. I saw a billboard get run over today.” You hummed, leaning against the counter. You held your drink with one hand, watching the ice clink to one side as you rolled your wrist to stir it. You had to admit, the drink did loosen you up a bit, making you feel a little warm inside. You couldn’t put your finger on it, but the drink had reminded you of another from a distant planet…
When Aventurine heard the last part of what you had said, he almost choked on his drink in surprise at the bluntness. “I’m sorry– what?” He coughed, covering his mouth with the back of his fist.
“What?”
“...Nevermind.” He waved it off. “Anyways, those were the only things you saw today? Nothing else caught your eye?”
“No? I was going to continue looking around later, why do you ask?” You eyed him suspiciously, watching as his grin grew a little wider. With his fingers drumming against the counter, he spoke.
“Why don’t I show you around? It would be quite a waste to not explore.”
Aventurine playing tour guide? Now this couldn’t be good.
“I think I’ll pass.” Standing up from your seat, you fish out some cash for the bartender. “I’ll be taking my leave now, thanks for the drink.”
“W-wait–!” Aventurine sprung from his seat, chasing after you after he paid for his drink. You were quite the fast walker, he noted, finally managing to match his pace with yours.
Making an attempt at losing him was futile, proven by the fact that no matter what you did to get him off your tail, he was always right behind you. Through large crowds of dreamchasers, confusing paths, and many stairs, he was able to navigate through it all to keep up with you.
Eventually, you gave up trying to explore in peace, opting to listen to the gambler speak about some of his favorite spots in the dreamscape. From the casino he frequently visits, to expensive designer clothing stores, and even fancy restaurants or bars that have a refined taste for food and beverages. It was no surprise that Aventurine had an expensive palate.
As of now, the both of you were checking out a clothing store that had multiple floors. From silk pajamas to leather coats, the store was huge and contained all articles of clothing that caught both you and Aventurine’s eyes.
“What do you think about this one?” Aventurine asked, striking a small pose as he flaunted a magenta button-up with gold trimmings. He had a pair of slacks to match accompanied with his usual belt. You had to admit, it brought out the colors of his eyes perfectly.
“It..suits you.” You finally replied after eyeing the outfit. Aventurine grinned at you. Pausing, you spoke up before you could think.
“It really brings out your eyes.”
Aventurine’s grin faltered, taken aback by your blunt compliment. He knew that the tone of your voice and expression held genuine, yet it was odd seeing you expressing your true thoughts other than shrugging him off. His grin came back, yet this time, it seemed a little bigger.
“I appreciate the compliment, friend.”
Aventurine went back in to change into his regular clothes while you wandered around, checking out clothes that piqued your interest. It wasn’t long before Aventurine popped up right next to you, startling you.
“Sorry for scaring you,” he laughed, “Did you find something you liked?”
You put back what it was that you were holding, not really wanting him to see what style you were into. “..No, there’s not much that matches my style.” You lied. He stared at you for a moment but shook his head.
“If you say so.”
As you two started walking away, Aventurine made a mental note to come back at a later time, glancing at the hanger you were just holding.
Exiting the store and back onto the busy streets of Golden Hour, you were about to speak before Aventurine interrupted you. It seems he always beats you to it…
“There’s..a place that I want to show you. I’m certain that you’ll enjoy it.” Aventurine tugged you along by the arm, navigating through dreamchasers and vehicles. You had no other choice but to go along with him, but you didn’t mind as you were curious as to what he was going to show you.
After slipping past some Bloodhound guards and Dreamjolt Troupe members, the two of you finally made it to a small lookout overseeing some construction going on in Golden Hour. Although you wanted to question Aventurine’s methods of getting here, you couldn’t deny the scenery the place had to offer.
The view was breathtaking. The Penacony Grand Theater was in the far distance, stars streaming through the sky before ultimately fading out. The soft glow of the sun permeated the dark sky, mimicking the sunsets you’d often see in the waking world. There was a light breeze, expected as the two of you were quite high up, pedestrians and vehicles just specks beneath your feet. Walking towards the railing, you rested your elbows and gazed out at the horizon.
“This..place… How did you find it?” You turned your head to Aventurine who took his place next to you, his arms crossed over the railing. Somehow, he looked more ethereal than before. Blond locks swept past his face in tune with the breeze, the lighting from the sun dancing across his skin which almost made it seem like he was glowing. You would never in a million amber eras want to admit it but… Aventurine was truly captivating.
Unbeknownst to you, he had thought the same.
“I stumbled across this place when I was scoping out the different dreamscapes.” He answered, eyes sweeping over your face. “The scenery here was.. beautiful so I figured that I’d show you this hidden gem.” Aventurine didn’t know whether he was talking about the place or you, but he shook his head to rid those thoughts.
“…Thank you, Aventurine.”
“My pleasure, _____.”
Both of you lingered there for a moment longer, engaging in conversation with small pauses when either one of you was lost in thought. His presence was comforting, allowing you to bask in the moment and reveal smaller details about you. Naturally, he did the same, but still maintained his own distance as did you.
You forgot how much time passed as you were lost in conversation, exchanging small banter with Aventurine which would end up in laughter. When you pulled out your phone to check for any missed messages, you noticed that there were a few urgent matters that you needed to attend to. It seems this small “tour” session would have to come to a close… You felt a pang of disappointment hit you.
“My crewmates are worried about me, I should get going…” You sighed, turning so your back was against the railing. “Thank you for playing tour guide.” Aventurine snickered.
“No problem, I had fun.” He paused. “If..you’d like, would you like to meet up again for dinner sometime?” You noticed him adjusting his gloves and clothes, eyes meeting yours with a nervous glint. With a smile, you pushed yourself off the railing and started walking off in the direction of the exit.
“Sure. I’ll see you soon, Aventurine.”
“See you, _____.”
Aventurine stood where he was, watching your figure slowly disappear. With a satisfied hum, he figured that he should get going as well before his colleagues got on his case. As he started walking, however, he noticed a small slip of paper hanging halfway out of his pocket. Unfolding it, there was a string of numbers with your name on it.
‘Your contact info? How lucky of him.’ He patted himself on the back.
With a delighted smile on his face, he walked back to the main streets of Golden Hour.
Aventurine could not wait to see you again.

Imagine… Feitan Stealing a Bouquet of Flowers for You
Fluff
Feitan Portor x gn!reader
Warnings: small mention of violence
It was a warm sunny day and you and Feitan were walking side by side through the busy city streets. It looked like a market was being held, booths and their vendors lining the pavement, and you fought the urge to stop and take a long look around because you knew you’d be left behind if you did. The mission you had just finished a few hours ago left you both exhausted and ready to hide out for a while and recuperate. Feitan was adamant about not making any unnecessary stops on the way back to base but you couldn’t help yourself as you slowed down your pace, your eyes landing on an especially appealing cart to your right. It was like your legs had a mind of their own as you left Feitan’s side and changed course to satisfy your desire of seeing the beauty that caught your attention up close. You stood in front of a vendor who was selling the most gorgeous bouquets of flowers. They were absolutely ginormous and each one contained a different type of flower a person could ever ask for. As you ogled the vendor’s creations, you felt a menacing presence behind you and you knew your partner had found you but you were completely unbothered. You didn’t even notice Feitan’s eye roll or huff of annoyance, too enthralled in the sickly sweet smell enveloping you.
“You finished?” Feitan asked from behind his cowl.
“Not yet. One more minute, please,” you replied dreamily. Another sigh left his mouth as he crossed his arms and watched you with his deadly gaze. He had never seen you this happy before and he wasn’t sure why he liked it so much. It was totally unlike him to relish in the joy of others and it almost made him sick when he realized that he didn’t want to see the smile leave your face. When you turned away from the booth and began your trek back to your original destination, both of you felt tugs at your heartstrings for different, but still related, reasons.
“What wrong now?” he asked, taking notice of your dejected aura.
“Hmm? Nothing,” you replied. The man in all black stopped walking and grabbed your arm with an iron grip.
“Don’t lie to me. You never this quiet.”
“It’s silly, just forget about it.”
“No.”
Feitan was never this unyielding when you brushed him off, usually opting to not press further when you said you were fine, so this was a bit of a shock to you.
“I just… wanted a bouquet, that’s all. I’ve been all over this country and I’ve seen countless people presented with them and I… it’s something that I’ve always wanted. It’s trivial, really, forget I said anything.”
You waited with bated breath, expecting a harsh cackle in your face and some name calling about how juvenile you were being, but none of that came. Instead, you watched in awe as Feitan ran over to the vendor and came back in a blur. His speed never failed to surprise you, but what surprised you more was the bouquet of flowers that he thrust into your unsuspecting hands.
“Here,” he said, “for you. Now stop frowning.”
You didn’t know what to do or say. This was something you’d never expect from the Phantom Troupe’s most macabre member and the gesture made your stomach do flips.
“Feitan!” you cried out, the short man now many steps ahead of you now due to your stupor holding you back, “I don’t know what to say. Thank you.”
“They’re just plants,” he replied, but you saw the way his eyes softened when you came into view with the flowers he stole.
“You tell anyone about this and I cut out your tongue,” he tutted, shoving his hands in his pockets and ripping his stare from you as you just chuckled a bit.
“Deal,” you said, opting to go with the story that you stole them yourself, if anyone asked. Feitan knew they wouldn’t speak a word, though, as the whole Troupe (minus you) were privy to his growing affections toward you.
Two weeks later the flowers in the bouquet eventually died and you decided to preserve one of the flowers in a notebook (also stolen and left on your bed by Feitan). Finished with your work, you closed the book shut and leaned back in your chair. You gasped in surprise when pale fingers reached around you and took another wilted flower from its vase.
“I like dead things,” Feitan shrugged as you gave him a look. You wouldn’t know this until much later but he saved that flower in a notebook too (along with some hair that he had plucked from your head).

Soft Confessions (ft. Megumi)
Tumblr media
You and Megumi find yourselves navigating the delicate line between friendship and something more, unraveling unspoken feelings. (A/N: Last time i posted was Feb 20.... ANYWAY, here's some megumi fluff ‹𝟹)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s a lazy Saturday morning, the kind where the sun spills through the window just enough to make you want to stay in bed a little longer. You blink awake, stretching under the soft weight of your blankets, enjoying the rare peace of not having anywhere to rush off to. For a few moments, you lie there, content to bask in the quiet until your phone buzzes on the bedside table.
Reaching for it, you see a message waiting for you—a single text from Megumi.
“Morning. You free today?”
Your heart skips, a familiar warmth blooming in your chest. You bite your lip, fingers quickly moving across the screen to type a reply.
“Yeah, what’s up?”
The response is almost immediate.
“Want to come over?”
Your eyebrows raise in surprise. Megumi inviting you over wasn’t out of the ordinary, but there’s something about the simplicity of the invitation that makes your stomach flutter. You push yourself out of bed, already feeling the excitement bubbling up inside. Grabbing a cozy sweater and your favorite pair of jeans, you get dressed quickly, wondering what he’s up to.
You step outside, greeted by the soft embrace of autumn air. The sun hangs lazily in the sky, casting a warm, golden light that filters through the trees. It’s the perfect day—cool enough to justify the cozy sweater you threw on, but not so cold that you regret not wearing a heavier jacket.
The familiar crunch of leaves under your shoes as you walk down the quiet streets is soothing, and your mind drifts, thinking about Megumi.
He’s not one to text you out of the blue like this—at least not without a clear plan in mind—so you can’t help but wonder what’s on his agenda for today. The thought makes your heart flutter, a tiny ripple of excitement in your chest. You shove your hands deeper into your pockets, trying to ground yourself as the cool breeze picks up, tousling your hair.
The path to Megumi’s place is one you’ve walked countless times before, but today it feels different. It’s not just the weather, or the quiet calm of the streets—it’s the sense of anticipation that builds with each step, as though something significant is waiting for you at the end of this walk. You can’t quite place the feeling, but you don’t mind it. If anything, it makes the walk more exciting, like you’re heading toward something special.
As you turn the last corner, Megumi’s apartment comes into view. It’s a modest place, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but it’s one that feels comfortable and familiar to you. You approach the door, your fingers tingling slightly with nerves as you knock lightly.
A few moments pass, and then you hear the soft shuffle of footsteps on the other side. The door swings open, and there he is—Megumi, standing in the doorway, looking like he just rolled out of bed, his hair slightly messy and his hoodie hanging loosely on his frame. His dark eyes meet yours, and for a second, he looks surprised, like he wasn’t expecting you to actually show up, despite being the one to invite you over in the first place.
“Hey,” you greet him, a small smile tugging at your lips as you feel your shyness creeping in.
“Hey,” he replies, stepping aside to let you in. His voice is casual, but there’s something in his expression—something soft—that makes you feel like maybe he’s just as nervous as you are. “Glad you could come.
You step inside, kicking off your shoes by the door and slipping out of your jacket. The familiar warmth of his apartment wraps around you, and you instantly feel at ease. It’s quiet here, save for the low hum of the heater in the corner and the distant sounds of the city outside. The place smells faintly of something warm—tea, maybe, or the faint scent of the laundry detergent Megumi always uses.
You follow him into the living room, where he gestures for you to sit down on the couch. The cushions are soft beneath you, and you settle in, feeling the quiet anticipation of the day ahead. It’s not like you haven’t been here before, but something about today feels… different. Maybe it’s the way Megumi seems a little more relaxed than usual, or the fact that he invited you over without any particular plan.
“I made tea,” Megumi says, his voice a little quieter now as he disappears into the kitchen for a moment. You hear the clink of mugs, the quiet whistle of the kettle being turned off, and a few seconds later, he returns with two steaming cups in his hands.
He hands one to you, his fingers brushing yours briefly as you take the warm mug from him. The contact is brief, but it’s enough to send a spark of warmth up your arm, and you quickly pull the cup closer to you, letting the heat sink into your hands.
“Thanks,” you mumble, taking a small sip. The tea is perfect—not too hot, just the right amount of sweetness. It’s comforting, much like the quiet presence of the boy sitting beside you.
Megumi settles down next to you on the couch, his leg brushing against yours as he gets comfortable. You notice the way he sits slightly closer than usual, his shoulder almost touching yours, but you don’t mind. In fact, you welcome the warmth that radiates from him. There’s something comforting about being this close to him, like you’re both in your own little world, separate from everything else.
“So, what’s the plan?” you ask, trying to sound casual even though your heart is beating a little faster than usual. You glance at him, watching as he takes a sip of his tea before shrugging.
“I thought we could just hang out,” he says, his voice low and unhurried. “Watch something, maybe.”
It’s such a simple suggestion, but the thought of spending the entire day with Megumi, doing nothing but being in each other’s company, makes you smile. You nod, feeling a sense of calm settle over you. “Sounds good to me.”
For the next few moments, you both sit there in comfortable silence, sipping your tea and exchanging quiet glances. The TV hums softly in the background as Megumi flips through streaming options, not settling on anything in particular. You don’t mind; it’s the kind of silence that doesn’t need to be filled with words. It feels natural, like this is exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Finally, Megumi settles on some random movie—something light-hearted that neither of you has seen before—and you both lean back into the couch, letting the soft glow of the TV fill the room.
At first, you try to focus on the movie, but your mind keeps drifting to Megumi. You steal quick glances at him out of the corner of your eye, noticing how relaxed he seems.
His arm is draped lazily over the back of the couch, his expression focused on the screen, but you can sense that he’s aware of you just as much as you are of him. Every time your arms or legs brush, you feel a tiny jolt of awareness, like there’s an invisible current running between you.
You shift slightly, leaning into him, and your shoulder gently presses against his. For a split second, you wonder if you’re being too bold, but then you feel him relax even more, his body– not moving away– instinctively leaning into yours. It’s a small gesture, but it feels like the most natural thing in the world.
You can feel the soft rise and fall of his breathing. The warmth of his body against yours is comforting, and before you know it, you’re resting your head on his shoulder.
Neither of you says anything, but you can feel the shift in the air, the quiet tension that wasn’t there before. It’s not uncomfortable, though. If anything, it feels like the unspoken promise of something more.
Time seems to slow as the two of you sit there, shoulders touching, legs barely brushing. The room is quiet except for the faint dialogue of the movie and the soft, steady rhythm of your breaths. You can feel your eyelids growing heavier, lulled by the warmth of Megumi’s presence and the soothing atmosphere of the room.
Without really thinking about it, you let your head rest on his shoulder, the soft fabric of his hoodie warm and familiar beneath your cheek. Megumi doesn’t flinch or pull away; instead, he shifts slightly, adjusting so that you’re more comfortable. His hand drops to the space between you, fingers brushing lightly against yours in a way that feels both casual and deliberate.
You close your eyes, the quiet rise and fall of his chest beneath your head calming your racing thoughts. You can hear the soft thud of his heartbeat, steady and reassuring, and for a moment, you wonder if he can feel how fast yours is beating.
Neither of you says anything. There’s no need for words right now. The comfort of being close like this, the quiet intimacy of the moment, speaks louder than anything you could say. You don’t know how long you sit there, resting against him, but you don’t want it to end.
The movie plays on, but your focus is entirely on Megumi—the way he’s so still, yet completely present beside you, the way his warmth seeps into you like a soft blanket. It’s moments like these that remind you why you’re so drawn to him—why you cherish these quiet, stolen moments of closeness that seem to happen without any effort at all.
You can feel the subtle tension in the air, though. It’s not an uncomfortable tension; rather, it’s the kind that makes your heart beat a little faster, the kind that makes you wonder if he’s thinking the same thing you are. You don’t dare move, afraid that even the slightest shift might break the spell that’s settled over you both.
And yet, there’s something unspoken between you, something that lingers in the space between each quiet breath. It’s as if both of you are waiting for something—some invisible line to be crossed, some acknowledgment of the feelings that have been building beneath the surface for so long.
The afternoon fades into evening, the sky outside turning shades of pink and orange. You’ve switched to watching random videos on your phones now, passing the time in comfortable silence. But there’s something lingering between you—something unsaid.
You glance at Megumi, you can’t help but study his face in the soft light. The way the shadows play across his sharp features, the slight furrow in his brow as if he’s lost in thought. He’s always had this quiet intensity about him, but right now, he seems different. More relaxed, maybe. Or maybe you’re just noticing things you hadn’t before.
“Megumi?” you say his name softly, almost hesitant to break the calm.
He turns to look at you, his gaze steady and thoughtful. “Hmm?”
He looks up, his eyes meeting yours. “What is it?”
You hesitate, suddenly unsure of how to phrase the question that’s been on your mind all day. “Why did you ask me to come over today? I mean, we hang out all the time, but… I don’t know. Today feels different.”
He blinks, clearly taken aback by your question. For a moment, he seems to be weighing his words, and you brace yourself for his response.
“I just… wanted to see you,” he says finally, his voice quiet but steady. His gaze flickers away, almost as if he’s embarrassed. “Is that a bad thing?”
Your heart skips again, and you can’t help the small smile that tugs at your lips. “No, not at all. I’m glad you did.”
There’s a beat of silence, and then Megumi shifts slightly closer, his leg brushing against yours. “Good,” he murmurs, his voice barely audible, but the sincerity in it makes your chest tighten.
The sun has completely set now, the room dimly lit by the soft glow of the lamp in the corner. You’re both sitting in comfortable silence, but the tension from earlier has grown, lingering in the space between you like a question waiting to be answered.
You’re the first to break it.
“Megumi,” you say softly, your voice barely louder than a whisper. “I—there’s something I need to tell you.”
He turns to look at you, his expression unreadable, but there’s something in his eyes—something soft, something vulnerable—that makes your pulse quicken.
You take a deep breath, gathering the courage you need. “I think… I like you.”
The words hang in the air, and for a moment, you think the world has stopped turning. You can feel your heart hammering in your chest, your palms growing clammy with nerves.
But then, Megumi reaches for your hand, his fingers brushing against yours in the gentlest of touches. He doesn’t say anything at first, just looks at you, his expression softening in a way you’ve never seen before.
“I like you too,” he finally says, his voice low but sure.
Relief floods through you, and before you can stop yourself, you’re grinning like an idiot. Megumi’s lips twitch in a small smile, and he squeezes your hand gently, grounding you in the moment.
Neither of you moves for a while, just sitting there with your hands intertwined. It’s quiet, peaceful, but there’s a buzzing in the air that you can’t ignore—the awareness that something between you has shifted.
Then, slowly, Megumi leans in. You can feel your breath catch as the space between you closes, your heart racing as his lips brush yours in the softest, most tentative kiss.
It’s brief—barely more than a whisper of contact—but it leaves you breathless. When you pull back, Megumi is watching you with a look that makes your heart stutter in your chest.
“Was that okay?” he asks, his voice barely audible.
You nod, your face flushing as you manage a soft, “Yeah. That was perfect.”
And in that moment, everything feels right.
