"It's a relationship, you have to build it before it can set sail" is absolutely 100% my favorite line from episode 1 of 'And Back Again', thank you so much Christian 🙏

I am SO behind on And Back Again (I'm only listening to episode 2) but listening to Dillin playing the absolute Silliest Little Guy as Petaur after playing literally Thee Most Stressèd Character Ever as Atelut is the funniest fucking heel change and I love it
The funky little voice? The mirror pronouns? The CARD TRICK? It's so beautiful I knew I was right to be excited

Hi everyone, ready for a theory that made me shit bricks when i thought of it?
I posted this on the uc discord already but i figured i should tell the hellsite
SPOILERS FOR EP 1 OF ABA AND ALSO ARC 5
So i think i figured out what the "edge of the world" is.
This arc takes place in the whispering woodlands, which are next to the city of solaris. You know what else happened in solaris? That's right, a city-wide time loop! And if you recall, the number of loops they did didn't sync up to the time in the outside world, so until someone fixes that, Solaris is stuck like six hours behind the rest of the world.
Whoever was talking about stepping into the edge of the world (i think that was Myrm the anteater) said they stepped forward and it was night, then backwards and it was day again. That's what would happen if you stepped into solaris from the outside, because they're basically in a different timezone!
(yes i just copied and pasted my discord message lol)

Story. And Back Again
Previous | Next
[12 digitally sketched panels in b/w]
[Panel 1: Dee (hair still messed up from falling down the stairs previously), grimaces and says, "… Don't…"]
[Panel 2: Dee curls in on herself and away, one arm over her stomach and her "knees" (the caging below her mannequin body) drawn up. She continues, "Don't hurt me…"]
[Panel 3: The Jack worriedly puts his hands up in front of him, palms out placatingly. He quickly says, "I-I-I wouldn't! Please, don't be scared! I-I --"]
[Panel 4: The Jack turns away, lifting one hand toward his chin, fingers partially curled. He says, "I should go find Hare for you--"]
[Panel 5: Dee suddenly leans forward, toward The Jack, and points back up the stairs. She says, "Him! Yes! He's upstairs-- but he won't wake up."]
[Panel 6: Shot from up the stairs, down through the door and into the hallway. The Jack leans slightly as he looks up the stairs and says softly, "Ah… So that's where he went." Dee, still laying on the ground at the foot of the steps, asks, "Will you help him?" The Jack pauses, with a "…"]
[Panel 7: The Jack turns his head to look down at Dee and says, … Of course. I'll go up and--" Dee interjects from offscreen, "NO!"]
[Panel 8: Dee lifts herself and sits on the stairs, gripping the edge of the one she is seated one. She glares at The Jack and says firmly, "That's MY space! I'll go up FIRST!"]
[Panel 9: The Jack stands aside and says, "Oh, um, OK!" Dee scoots herself up the stairs with SFX: *tump* *tump* *tump*]
[Panel 10: Same shot. Dee has progressed around the corner of the steps, only her stand visible. SFX *tump* *tump* *tump* continues.]
[Panel 11: Same shot. Dee has disappeared but SFX *tump* *tump* *tump* continues in smaller font. The Jack turns his head to see Tatters, who has wandered back onto the scene. The Jack says, "Oh, hello." Tatters says, "mmrrr"]
[Panel 12: Same shot. Dee calls from the top of the stairs, "Alright, come up now!" The Jack responds, "On it!" and starts going up the stairs, Tatters running ahead of him. End ID]

Alert to the Gwyd/Achren shippers... ((nd honestly, even if you aren’t, give it a read, because if Zosia can convert me she can convert anyone.)
Chapters: 3/?
Fandom: Chronicles of Prydain - Lloyd Alexander
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Relationships: Achren/Gwydion
Characters: Achren (Prydain), Gwydion (Prydain)
Additional Tags: Pre-Canon, Alternate Universe (although I aim to convince you it isn't), Enemies to Lovers (yes it's a trope but I try to go deeper I promise!)
Summary:
You know that scene in The Book of Three, that showdown between a desperate, fallen queen and a defiant hero? Well... what if that wasn't their first meeting after all? What if the real story was more tangled, more nuanced, more tragic? Boundaries can be crossed and instinct overridden, but it's impossible to truly leave oneself behind...

new and back again theory: the song was the snowdrop festival. the “edge of the world” is the border of the time loop where it’s out of sync
