@scopophobia-polaris asked for some more details on this silly guy and I needed to post the redesign of his scars so I'm gonna ramble!

General "rules" I am using for the Bad Moon AU:

-You cannot change the future. If you saw the future, it happens. Maybe not to you, but it happens. Time travel either involves splitting timelines, temporal loops (see the song of storms), or two extremely similar timelines that collapse together (a dumb child goes to the past to plant beans). What does this mean for Termina? OH GOD OH GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TINY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!

-If you turn into something, you will never entirely turn back.

-Two opposing wishes on the Tri Force will really fuck things up. Also, it happened. Bad Moon is about dealing with the fallout.

Tiny has a series of magic scars from his various transformations. Most of them are benign or beneficial due to Farore's blessing and the Fierce Deity's Mask's intervention, but not all. Believe it or not, this is me nerfing him, because I'm getting rid of all the Terminian masks except for the FD's mask, which gets broken.

-From the Deku mask he has ivy vines. Most are centered along his spine. He uses them to hold stuff. If he sleeps in fertile soil they will grow into the ground and he leaves weird plants that are sort of beholden to him all over the place. Gross. Anyways, remember how the Hero's Shade is covered in ivy? The "missing" eye is also more or less a Deku scrub's pitlike eye now, granting him low-light but otherwise mediocre vision in that eye.

-From the Goron mask he is disturbingly strong now. Most of Farore's blessed are pretty strong to begin with and now he's got Darmani's strength on top of that. His teeth are continuously growing and need to be worn down by grinding them on each other (because he's missing a tooth from that facial scar those teeth are maloccluded and grow all weird). It's definitely inspired by wrathful deity artwork though. He's also extremely resistant to heat. He got the white hair and scales on his shoulders/knees/elbows from Darmani too. Guess what part of his magic scarring the Hero of Twilight inherits!

-From the Zora mask he has some extremely strong scales on his forearms that can be used to defend himself. He can also make nasty electrical shocks, is very resistant to electrocution, is an extremely good swimmer (nowhere near as good as Mikau though), and can hold his breath for twenty minutes easily. His toes are webbed too.

-From the Giant's mask his height just kinda varies. His "true" height is over seven feet tall but it can vary between about 6"/15cm in either direction. He has some control over this but it's more related to his sense of security. He's at his smallest when he's the most insecure but like, that's still 6'10"/208 cm so he's still way too big. Lucky for him the magic also affects his clothes/armor but it takes some time so he just makes/buys things on the larger end and waits for them to shrink to his current size. The effect goes away when removed from his body. Is this so I don't have to be consistent? Yes.

-He turns into a puppy in the War of Eras when he's ten and Zant uses the twilight as a weapon. Specifically an epicyon puppy! A 100lb/45kg puppy! Medli will ride him! I just want to draw the biggest puppy in the world. He can still turn into the big ancient wolf, and thankfully it doesn't do too much to him (unlike Twilink) but his jaw attaches waaay further back than it ought to and he can open his mouth to a scary degree. It's probably influencing those big fangs too. Combined with the Goron bite strength and... yeah.

I'll probably change things because I'm just playing around with him, so don't be surprised when I do!

- hard to get twilight to even be feral. You have to have that man let go of the metaphorical leash he has on his wolf instincts. Even then it won’t ever be pointed at you since he doesn’t want to get violent by accident and hurt you.

- If you did talk him into getting to that point there will still need to be some time before you see it. When you’re lucky he could wake up and in his morning brain let his body take control and just lazy lay on you. Nippling at the nape of your neck maybe leaving a few kisses. He isn’t going to let you go once he gets started but it’s going to be very sweet.

- Now on the flip side Feral Twilight when he is at that state of no thoughts or little thoughts just wolf brain. He is super protective which isn’t saying much since it’s Twi. But I’m talking about having you in his arms and not letting you go sort of protective. He isn’t going to let even other links near you if you were in that much trouble. He basically guard dogging you.

- Feral Twilight might also be a bit… weird because Twilight in such a state of no thoughts that he would start doing things he wouldn’t normally do. He is still a good boy! He will listen to if you say no. But he is gonna only listen to you and like Time or Wild. So handling him might just be up to you in the long haul. As again him getting to an animistic state means probably a lot of danger. So you’re really the only one that can look after him, also being the fact that he is clinging on to you most of the time anyway.

- Most likely Feral twilight would be the result of two things. A monster battle that results in you getting hurt. Which god speed for that poor soul. They will be dead in minutes. Twilight when this happens will almost be unstoppable since all reservations are gone. They hurt you. They will perish.

- The second is if Twilight is Wolfie for too long. If he stays in wolf form he is going to have a hard time breaking habits he did before. So it’s not feral as its wolf brain going BRRRRRRRRRRRR.

- Lastly and this is the most extreme case. FD Twilight is dangerous. He is probably the most feral Twilight can get and will chase you down if you run away. It’s a hunt and your his prey.

- I fully believe Twilight won’t even remember what happened when he was put under that much pressure. Nor should he know, he will get guilty and ashamed of it. Being a wolf isn’t something he really sees as something worth boasting about. So Feral Twilight might be a secret until someone asks about it. Then he will piece the pieces together and have to explain in better details.

4-24-24 WIP Wednesday | Fluent Freshman (FD)

I mean he would like to see Kevin Day score while Captain Neil is saying that right next to him in a language he can understand.

He holds his tongue though since that retort would have a bit too much ‘understanding Russian’ implications for him to voice it out loud.

He is careful about which team bonding events he lets himself be dragged to after a particularly rough movie night where Captain Neil and Andrew sat next to him and he has absolutely no idea what happened during the movie, couldn’t even say what movie they’d been watching since he dedicated himself entirely to shutting off his entire brain and trying to convince himself it wouldn’t be weird if he got up and failing.

So Smith decides to take up a few habits. If he’s not with the rest of the team to go shower then he waits until there is a 0% chance for Andrew and Captain Neil to be in the locker room at all. If there’s a team event, he waits for Captain Neil and Andrew to be seated and then he takes a seat. He makes sure to be quiet when he enters a room so that if he hears something he can just do a 180 and leave without anyone the wiser.

All good things come to an end though.

Okay I read the leaked script pages (not on purpose, someone posted them on here without anything blocking them out, so thanks for that… really… super cool, dude. You suck really. You’re an asshole. Fuck off forever)

And based on my working knowledge of screenwriting and the industry, here’s what we know.

They seem legit. I have a copy of an earlier season script that was generously shared with me as a writer (no I will not be sharing any more details about that or the script), and based on the style… Yeah, it’s real. I think some of the dialogue is clunky, but not in a “it’s fake” way, but just in a “that’s a weird way to write that,” way. Like the word yes instead of yeah. The scenes though, yeah, I’d take them with 99% truth.

Whoever leaked them obviously rewrote it. All scripts will be watermarked by show, name of actor or crew member if the crew member is given a script (not all do). Also, it says pink revision without a date. They date all their scripts. Mine is a full color revision (also known as a 2nd) production draft with a date, meaning that’s when it was finalized.

Their script not having a watermark means the leaker retyped it all on their own personal writing software, my guess is Final Draft since that’s the most basic and common, and the unchanged revision line is the same formatting. Also, if this were a production draft, which it seems to be, it would say production draft. Pink is earlyyyy. According to another script I have from 911 Lone Star (again, will not be sharing any details on that), pink is their very first revision. 911 would be the same. So since this seems to be the production draft based on what we know of how it lines up with the stills, it’s incredibly likely that the leaker, when rewriting it, didn’t change their settings. Meaning that they had pink revisions turned on as their go-to for the script when typing this out... Was it because they were using a file that had previously been written in (since FD’s go-to is blue first)? Or do they always have pink turned on?

Also, weird that they used (beat) when (then) is more commonly used by professionals, especially writers in both of the 911 rooms. With there not being a single (beat) in my 911 script, which was co-written by someone who likely would’ve been training/supervising all the current writers and someone who has more intimate knowledge of 7x05. That seems like a mistake. That would not have been what it was by the actual writer of the episode. The leaker typed that wrong

Also, the page set-up on 911 scripts at the top read:

“Episode title” “Revision type” “Date”

Which means that the leaker didn’t care to make it look like the actual script, just wanted the info out. This proves they retyped it.

My guess: the leaker is or was a PA or getting the intel from a PA. Someone who would have been around full copies of the script, and has lofty ambitions for the show and their own career (which is why they or someone they know has FD), but they don’t care enough to not leak the script, meaning they don’t think they’d get caught.

They’re likely male, younger. But are they a writer’s PA or a set PA? Based on the one thing I know about this leaker, they seemed annoyed at the Buck storyline, but weren’t certain if it was actually going to happen. A PA in the writer’s room would have more access to scripts, but would also know how to format things on a software… unless they purposely didn’t format correctly to not be caught. But a writer’s PA might be more likely to have their FD settings turned to pink already, since that’s what the room would have as their first color and they’d likely be emulating them. Or they’re a set PA. They might not know how the exact scenes go if they aren’t working that set, but they’d know what was going on overall. Also a writer’s PA would be able to get their hands on a pink rev, but this script isn’t a pink rev, it’s clearly a production draft and retyped anyway since no date/watermark.

Regardless, they’re not someone high up in any crew channel. They feel confident in leaking stuff because they don’t think they’ll get caught, because they don’t think anyone would notice. So this is a person people wouldn’t expect or care about. Someone who likely keeps to themselves, a loner, someone who wanted Eddie to have Buck’s storyline. Someone who leaked through another user because they don’t want to be traced back to, but are too sloppy to not type a production draft into a non-production draft copy.

I should say, it’s illegal, and they can be sued by Fox. Each script is copyrighted and it states: “no portion of this script may be performed, published, reproduced, sold, or distributed by any means or quoted or published in any medium, including web site, without prior written consent of 20th century Fox. Disposal of this script copy does not alter any of the restrictions set forth above.” Technically by revealing this, I’m infringing on copyright, but this is educational and reveals nothing.

As promised: Part two of VM Holding Hands-

*A (not by any means exhaustive) collection of VM handy holdy moment:

I’m sure I’ve seen this before but I only really took it in for the first time the other day and boy were my tear ducts put to the test! This is after their FD at Worlds 2011- only their 3rd competitive skate of the season and their first time competing this FD. It was so good! Like nothing ever seen before (as with basically every program of their- always innovative both in themselves and as leaders of the sport). The lifts were insane, the skating was deadly good, the DANCING they were doing. They get a score of 107.something- the highest so far that season was 103. Something. They were in the lead after the SD and basically all the commentators on this said how near impossible it would be for their skate to be beaten. It was THAT good.. yet.. somehow they were. As they wait for the score to come up here, they look so nervous, exhausted, almost pleading for it to be a high score. And in a way- well the way I’m interpreting it, they almost look a bit defeated already. The score comes up and he goes to find and then squeeze her hand without even looking at her. This feels like another one of those moments of S physically saying/expressing to himself ‘thank god I didn’t let her down’ and also a bit of ‘we did it kiddo, no matter what happens now, we did it, and I’m so freaking proud of you’ a little bit of that protecting her through reassurance. Then as they squeeze that look to each other.. I have so many feels about this but I don’t even know if I can put into clear worlds what I’m feeling.. so I’ll just leave it there. If you know what they were going through at this point in their lives you know what that hand squeeze means (and it means literally everything to them in that moment).

On a lighter note.. this is just super cute. As I said in the original (part one) post, during their final competitive season they almost completely abandoned using dance hold, for what exact psychological/emotional/competitive reason I don’t know. So this is almost like them being in on their own thing, that ‘hey we don’t do that silly proper dance hold anymore like those inferiors do, we’re cute and let our hands cuddle as we skate around bc we love to hold hands!’ They make a big thing of the it between themselves that they aren’t gonna use dance hold. He goes in and changes like a little ‘tricked ya!’ But no bc of course she knows and changes immediately.

An “I know, I’m here, I’ve got you” last lil squeeze. T in her beautiful, quiet way protecting him with the simplest of connections.

2 in 1: holding out his hand for what feels like a really long time for her to get to centre to take their bows, followed by a switching to handy holdy to go thank the person playing music -(as they so often would bc they are previous lil angels).

You can’t actually see the handy holding here but you know there are. The last few moment on warm up before leaving the ice, her cuddling his arm and him reassuring her that everything will be ok bc they have each other.

They switch so softly and so naturally. Like it just happens. They don’t even think about it. Earlier in their career.. like it was still natural, but it was maybe that there was something to intitiate them holding hands this way, but here it was just, it was like some kind of magnetic force that drew them to hold hands properly. Idk, but isn’t it beautiful??

i don't think Lilah and Lewis's Rocky program is a dance, really. the music is like a cue that symbolizes success or winning, not like they're listening and expressing the music itself. they're miming a story, which makes it more like a soundtrack, doing elements with the music playing. does the Rocky theme, Gonna Fly Now make you want to dance? this just has no substance for me

i can appreciate that they work hard, that they've improved in some ways, that they're savvy about presentation, but being rewarded with up to 9.5 in skating skills and 9.5! in composition for this program when there are teams putting real emotion and beauty, both in a dance and skating sense, on the ice just makes me queasy. sorry, i don't like being so negative, but i don't think i've ever felt this negatively about a program before

for a positive, the brand new Swedish team, Ruitan/Majorov, did so well - he's an Olympic singles skater who just switched to dance, she's only 17, and they've been training together since May. he has a ballroom flair, their programs are fun

the German team, Janse van Rensburg/Steffan- this tango works well for them - hopefully someone will put the video up. the lifts were really good. (they're a team who sometimes sorely need costume help, but this fd was fine) and all the skaters should get to bring their cocker spaniels to the kiss and cry ☺️

i really like this program for Turkkila/Versluis - it feels contemporary and kind of fresh and clean in the vocabulary of shapes and arm movements throughout but still keeps what's willowy and balletic about them

Reed/Ambrulevicius-- both their programs this year are so good- they always have their own pov, a different vibe from everyone else. i’m not sure what the hand gestures at the start are about, but i like how this FD evolves throughout, and there are these great little moments choreographed to hit on accents in the music like the transition to the spin. different costumes and hair would really add visually to this program - they need packaging that's better than ok, because what they're putting on the ice is better than that

CPom skated really well here - they got level 4s for lifts, twizzles, spin, level 2+3 for the one foot, 3+2 for the circular step - they came close to maxing their base value (considering you almost never see level 4 on steps). so the score being good but not great means the GOE and PCS were meh. i think that's why Scott was frowny in the kiss and cry and staring at the screen after the score, if i had to guess

by contrast, T/V left points on the table and still scored higher than CPom in the FD. i don’t want to see judges pushing their teams more than they deserve, but the US judge gave CPom 7.75 in skating skills, for instance, which seems like less than they deserve

this program is growing, though- both step sequences are beautiful- starting with the circular step, where you notice their speed, the program really builds to the end until the choreo slide releases the tension. i love the first spin position and how the music kind of swoons then. there are so many musical details and strong points in this program, i think it's their best yet. there were small moments where they weren't in control - like right at the start of the program, when Christina goes into a lunge, her front foot wobbled. or Anthony at the end of the 1st curve lift didn't look steady on one foot - i don't know if that gives judges reason to be iffy. but it's weird wondering if small instabilities account for the ok scores when they're so strong in much larger ways

If you had to rank the books purely by plot progression, how would you rank them? Which flow best and make the most sense? Which book(s) are nonsense, plotwise?

Okay, maybe controversial opinion, but I think Eclipse is the most coherent in terms of a plot. 

That doesn’t mean I think it was always handled well (it’s so weird she builds up to this giant battle and we don’t see it!), but there’s a clear progression of story in this one. And really, it’s the last one she wrote so it makes sense that she got better at this. 

By that I mean we’re introduced to the idea of mysterious murders in Seattle. We find out about Victoria, we put the pieces together along with Bella, everyone prepares for a battle, the battle happens, Victoria dies, and the story ends. Low bar, but it clears it. 

Breaking Dawn is a hot mess. She described writing Forever Dawn as writing lots of ‘epilogues’ about E/B and it grew into FD, which became BD, and yeah, I can see that. It feels like “ooh let’s write about their wedding!” “ooh their honeymoon!” “ooh what if they had a baby?” It does feel like a series of vignettes kind of strung together. There’s no real plot. Until Irina just happens to see Nessie and tattles to the Volturi, but that feels like a whole NEW story and not the story we started in Twilight about Bella and Edward falling in love. And then even THAT plot is not resolved in a satisfying way because they just delayed the inevitable showdown with the Volturi rather than solved the conflict. They’re still in power; Aro still wants Alice (and Edward and Bella?). Nothing is resolved. 

And there’s glaring fact that it just doesn’t feel like a follow-up to Eclipse at all, because there’s no fallout from the newborn battle or the Bree incident. Never mentioned again, just straight to wedding planning. 

Twilight and New Moon fall in the middle here. They also suffer from the sudden appearance of plot out of nowhere, but don’t feel quite as disjointed as BD. They’re romances, really, so the “plot” in the first part of each book is the falling in love in Twilight, and the healing from the break-up in New Moon, until suddenly in the last part of the book there’s a new, more active plot--James in Twilight, the trip to Volterra in New Moon. New Moon also had the sort of ‘mystery’ of the wolves that helps create a through-line, so I guess in that sense it’s “better” plot-wise than Twilight, but still the wolf plot doesn’t really end up having much to do with the Volterra climax. 

So I guess:

Julius’ view of Ludger could have been so sinister if it weren’t for the fact he hates himself too much not to be self-aware about it. Especially when you think about how eerie it is for Ludger to look after Julius and cook for him when Julius loved Claudia for that exact same caring role in his childhood and that doesn’t even get into Julius using Ludger’s watch and keeping him in the dark about literally everything about their family.

If Ludger were even just less willing to mother Julius or if Julius was more overtly controlling I think Bisley would have discovered Ludger’s existence a LOT sooner after Ludger finally snapped at his overprotective paranoid older brother and ran off.

You mentioned that you were all for black women divesting, and it reminded me of something I've stumbled upon once. I was lurking on FDS and found this woman who always was making very wise or funny comments on threads. So I clicked on her profile and started reading the comments she left on other subs. She was a black woman, and she made a thread in this subreddit that was speciafically for black women and their issues and discussions. It was about how she went to a party, and she mentioned that she was dating an asian man, and that the people there questioned her and were pretty critical of her deciding to date an asian man over a black one. She obviously made that post looking for support, but most comments were literally like "those people at your party were pretty rude, but you shoud examine why you prefer to date asian men over black men". Like it was so weird. I don't get it. Like it's fine if you prefer black men and decide not to date outside of your race, but why would you judge other women for not doing the same? Like if he loves her, and she's happy, why would you care she's with an asian man?? Plus the way she described him he was very much a high value man (and she herself a very high value woman). I also remember her mentioning in other comments even her family wasn't very happy with her dating a korean guy (specially her grandmother), but ultimately came to accept it, kind of...

If she landed on a Black female sub I am not surprised they found "questionable" she was dating an Asian man because many Black women are unfortunately stuck in the "race loyalty" shit. Like women of other communities, they naturally cling to their community male for protection, but this cannot work like for Black men....

Black men started to go after White women to climb the career ladder. Black men in the USA are known to have never built any (economical) structure of significance for their community, like you'd expect from a decent patriarchy (that's basically one of the perk of patriarchy - men building structure for their community). That's why they cling to White women in a way to suck up to White men who hold the real power. It's very embarrassing when you really think of it and show how WEAK Black men are.... lol

Generational trauma overturned the gender dynamics, that's why Black men are the one to move as hypergamist - not Black women (who are statistically more prone to marry down than any other demographic). Because of baby mama culture and wide widespread single motherhood, Black women had to leverage their masculinity (being the main provider of the household instead of being provided for), which is precisely what Black men reproach to them to elevate other non Black women (more feminine, light-hearted, etc.) . And that's pretty is ironic because Black men are equally responsible for the problem is single motherhood in the Black community.... But Black men refuse to acknowledge is and will instead accuse White supremacy LOL

Black men are typically those to be like "what do you bring to the table?" to a Black woman (they are usually more forgetting with non Black ones), forgetting that they, as men, are supposed to be the providers... It wouldn't be a problem if they didn't consider themselves as masculine and...."traditional" LOL They'll call themselves "Black king" but behave like peasants, expecting to be hand-fed stuff by women they date... Such behavior is so repulsive and that's precisely one of the reason why I can't bring myself finding Black men attractive LOL (it's a different story in Africa because men are still traditional and will naturally provide for their spouse though).

Even still to this day, dating a White woman is still a social achievement status for Black men. Most famous/rich Black men (in the West) are mated with non Black women - especially in the sports world.. (I mean look at the new gen of NBA players who are all mixed lmao).

Black women naturally grew some resentment but also some sort of desperation, because Black men got cocky and started dunking on them as some sort of twisted way to get acceptance from the whites (the whole fetishism with "snow bunny" etc) and started telling them that no other men would want them. For so long Black women got stuck clinging to their men out who rejected them for a come up, but it's fortunately changing, and Black men are seething lol

Unlike Black men who leveraged their apparent masculinity to atrtact women from all races ("tall dark and chocolate"), what's new is that millennial and zoomer Black women are openly stating they are open to dating non Black menand are learning to leverage asset to attract all kind of women. That's why Black feminity channels are popping. And also that's why Black men are shook and go even harder to clown us saying "White men don't want us" (as if there was only White beside them lol), calling us undesirable and desperate for daring to *gasp* open their options.... Of course, when they take their passport to go to whole another country abroad it totally not desperation.... 👀

Black men feel threatened because that's the first time a significant amount of Black women decide to leverage their feminity to attract men who will appreciate them regardless of their race- and not solely focus on Black men. They say that White men don't like Black women but the truth is....Black women never really bothered trying to date outside their race. It's just a gaslighting technique to scare us off from flaring better than in the relationship with bums. That's why they hate Serena Williams btw. Dragon au part 4 of 4 (finally)

Four:

- Another serpent boy. But he is a noodle with legs. Four’s scales are a pale yellow color but because of the Colors™️ you can see their respective colors reflected back in the light. Four’s dragon form has four sets of horns the second pair grew in later in life thanks to the four swords.

- Four comes from a family of Earth Dragons with metal ties. Meaning they are metal benders ATLA style. He can also infuse elemental powers into his weapons through the uses of gems. Everything he owns has been updated for him as he went through. Anything he wants to test or experiment he tries on his own weapons and. Equipment. Though I am sure Wild would lend him a few things. Four can also shrink on command and split.

- His scent gland is on his forehead, and honestly his scent is basically a berry medley with a bit smoke. He doesn't tend to rub his scent on things as he doesnt care about claiming much. His family has a lot in their horde already, he also isn’t the type to claim family.

- Unfortunately he does have cat tendencies despite his fear of them. But even then that isn’t something he has clued in on and I don’t recommend pointing it out as he would get pouty.

You honestly didn’t know that Dragons can purr. To be fair only the only ‘purring’ you have heard was Twilight but his was more of a low growl. Four has been cuddling into your side purring. He was a bit sick and being the other medic of the team. He has been rubbing his face on your shoulder for a while now. A fruity aroma was getting stronger and stronger.

You put your hand on his forehead. Still warm… well you don't have the heart to move either. Not when he is suffering this much.

- It honestly doesn’t even process that Four claimed you by accident. He probably just thinks it was temporary since he was sick and is kinda in denial about it all. Claiming isn’t something he was going to do for a while even though he is a slightly hopeless romantic. It’s not the end of the world.

- He honestly is pretty up front about what he did and his feelings. He understands if you don’t want to date him but Four wont let you down. This man is polite and respectful and will spoil you. What more do you need?

- I also feel like he wouldn’t be that subjected to his dragon instincts. He has been around enough treasure and making enchanted weapons enough not to get gold fever. So top tier in terms of semi normal.

Fierce Diety:

- A god in his own right Feirce Diety is of course the strongest dragon in the group. He is built similar to Time, bulky and strong. Similar to Time, FD’s Scales are marbled but instead of just the gray and black tones you find in white marble there is also red, blue and gold. Though on his face you still have his signature markings.

- Fierce Deities powers are weird. He has the ability to affect gravity in the sense that he can make his sword slash go down harder, he can make himself move faster and he can jump higher. He can also make himself stronger in general and change how he looks. Given that so many people wore his mask he can shift into them borrowing their image. Sort of. There are differences between what fierce looks like and whoever he is stealing from looks like.

- I actually don’t know what god would smell like. But I do know he probably has a scent gland on his sides. Making it so when he is protecting you his scent gets all on you as your tucked into him safe and sound. By the end of it would probably smell like dried herbs, sage is probably the highest note there is. But it’s warm and old and comforting to you. Maybe not to others.

The War God doesn’t understand how he was in this situation. Not that he was complaining. It just was so long since he was outside of that prison of a mask that he wasn’t used to so much physical touch. With one of the children cuddled into one of his sides, then the other side was you. The person he went into battle to save. You unfortunately were hurt but not too much. Fierce Deity sighs as he relaxes not really knowing if he should move or not.

But as your arms around him tightened gave his answer. Fierce Deity was trapped here. There was no moving here.

- Fierce deity is another person that honestly will tell you outright and might give you no choice. You are his that (might) be final. I say that only because FD is a god. I would imagine even with him being in the seal he would have the largest horde as it includes people. So if you’re not also courting him, you’re still in his horde and will be in his protection. But uh… I wouldn’t suggest saying no to courting.

- Either way he is more subtle but also the most extreme with his dragon instincts. Like out of all the boys in the chain FD will be the most traditional in his belief. He will not mark you out right but he will be pushy unfortunately.

my reincarnation au is... exactly what it sounds like. sksw link is reincarnated with all his memories. (unfortunately, it rapidly grew far beyond what I expected)

this is my most romance centered fic (easy feat. I dont write it) after fots, which means link spends half of his time missing groose and zelda, and also maybe the one with the heaviest topics

I hit Link with the Comedically Large Angst Hammer™️ several times (fun fact: this was the fic where I started using parentheses for angst! fun for me, anyway) while also making jokes every five seconds, because link is, at his core, kind of stupid. He's close to having a breakdown every ten seconds at the current point in writing

I get through minish cap and four swords fairly quickly (stopping only for worldbuilding and angst, as one does), and then ocarina of time, which currently has 6k words out of 7k and is only growing (help me)

oot and mm happen much the same (but fi is there), and then it seems like it's over! time for twilight princess!

fd travels with link for a while, and then we reach the part I call "forgot I dislike [spoilers], remembered it, and then immediately made him the asshole he is"

(this is a good thing, actually, because link acknowledges (some of) the negative emotions he's been holding in for 30 years! then he goes back to shoving them all down immediately.)

I continue dragging oot out for an unnecessarily long amount of time, which is what I'm currently doing right now (the end is close, i can feel it. I will probably get distracted again.)

brief explanation of the split timelines: adult and child are normal, Hylia-sanctioned timelines, downfall is what happens when you fuck around with the triforce and kill one of its bearers in already unstable situation

Hello! I was curious to know about if the “cheating” situation in FD has been brought up in recent issues?. I had always thought about it like it wasn’t a big deal, because, for me, Clea and Stephen weren’t really together. I mean is weird, because in some comics you can notice, thanks to some dialogue, that they’ve broke up and that Stephen felt so bad because he lost the love of his life!. I’m really confused by all this situation lol. I really just think that Cullen wanted to rewrite Clea and Stephen’s relationship to create unnecessary dramma or w/e.

Thankfully, it was forgotten and ignored by pretty much all writers. Mostly because Clea wasn't featured in other comic books, and FD received tons of criticism by both male tears and people with taste.

I've delved into this matter just recently, but there is no canonical answer. It was a consensus between Clea and Stephen that they'd go separate ways even though they still loved one another back in the 90's.

At some point, Clea asked for a divorce in Doctor Strange v4 Annual, but Jed pretty much ignored the fact that she just wanted to be friends with Stephen in that story. So here we are.

My personal opinion is that Cullen Bunn went full "men are bad, my comic book is super feminist", and honey, that is not it :/ because even the other characters were portrayed poorly. All the exes reunited to invalidate a group of female-only super-heroes is just so stupid. I mean, even Hercules, who was commonly known to be a sexist piece of garbage had character growth and became a true himbo, one of my favorite tropes ever (also he's currently dating a guy, Noh-varr!!)

You don't have to go that low to praise women by demeaning their male exes and portraying them as asses, especially when they don't have a history of behaving as such.

Anyways... In short? Sometimes writers are just like us. They ignore bad writing and fix stuff just like we write fix-it fanfics 😅

Favourite Photo Series

Part 3:

📍SCI 2017 FD Practice

What I love about this picture is it’s a snapshot of a really lovely moment in time, I.. surprise surprise (probably) have a very different take on then maybe most would. There’s a lot of emotion in this one still photo but I find it it’s entirety to be even more poignant.

To help explain this I’m gonna use some gifs and talk more generally about this whole moment because it’s all important in relating back to this one moment in the photo.

So during their run through of MR, they break just before where they would start their step sequence. S throws T’s arm and lets her skate away in place of the first step in the sequence. This is quite common-in other practices, whether they are breaking at this moment or others, to do a bit of a ‘flourish’ as they finish the section they have just practiced.

The camera angle then changes to the left side of the rink and they catch up to each other. Where they would usually hold hands and continue skating around, T holds out her hand thinking he is going to take it (either in dance hold or more likely their hand hold) but instead he grabs her wrist quite ‘aggressively’ - not hard or in a way that would hurt her- but.. and this is the important part for me, does it in character.

He then slides his hand round her back to her side in their little side-hug position and so gently caresses her in such a comforting and affectionate way. He drops his head and after the second one T looks to him, in a way I interpreted as her asking him, ‘hey, what’s the matter/you alright?’. He his stays dropped and he’s kinda slumped over as he pats her back (YES her back don’t make this into something it’s not) and his hand falls into hers and they continue stroking round holding hands.

As they reach the back of the rink to start their short diagonal, the music is becoming louder and more dramatic, they let go of hands and Scott quite obviously starts to get himself worked up emotionally, then gradually physically to go into the next moment of chore. He mimes burying his head in his hands and silently screams along with the vocals in the music before he, again, aggressively grabs T’s wrist and kicks furiously as she drops into her lunge.

This post is another shrine to Scott and his acting abilities. I’ve talked about it many times I think, and I certainly still have more to say.

I can’t say what others thought/ think of this moment- specifically the little hug moment. I assume many thoughts were it’s a very sweet moment and I’m sure there were some creeps who thought he took and opportunity to ‘feel her up’.

What my thoughts were the very first time and quite frankly still, is as they met up to hold hands again, Scott was still in his character and grabbed her as such. T wasn’t expecting it, but at the same time wasn’t phased at all. He often has ‘random moments’ that she is never phased by and knows it’s just him being so passionate and getting to *play - [*explore movement and their story] with her. What she maybe wasn’t expecting, after realising he is still somewhat in character, for him to then wrap his arm around her in a hug and caress her..

He’s kinda saying to her in that moment (physically) ‘I’m sorry I hurt you, I didn’t want to, I’m gonna hurt you again in a moment (the next bit of chore), but you’re gonna be ok, we’re gonna be ok’- apologising on behalf of his characters actions’. He’s mentally still within his character, as himself he is kinda making sure she’s ok. She looks to him as if to say, ‘what do you mean, of course I’m ok’, or as I said before, simply ‘what’s the matter?’.

It’s weird I know, I’ve re writing this so many times to try and make sense of my thoughts, but that’s what I got from this, that’s how I read it. Because he grabs her then immediately after that becomes this soft and gentle moment physically while still kinda refusing to look at her. I see it as like this split between just himself and his character. I talked about this recently and as I always stress I have no definitive confirmation of any of this other then jumping off what they themselves say about their process and the kind of people/athletes/artists they are both together and individually. It’s not necessarily method acting (it’s not, he’s said that) but I think he likes to, once he gave himself the permission to, and knowing T encouraged it, exist in and explore those characters on a deeper level- and not just strictly confined to doing chore, and not strictly together on the same level- they may be deeper in it then the other at times like this for example. The way I read it is that T just seems more relaxed and quietly strokes round to the next section, where as S, in one of his random moments, interacts with her more so in the physicality of his character, but because it’s him and it’s them, at the same time exists this beautiful moment of comfort and, kind of apology.. I don’t quite think it’s that , I just can’t find the right word for it. That little pat just had this feeling of.. it’s like they just had a whole conversation in those 3 seconds, silently, without words and it ends with this pat of ‘alright, that’s my girl’ coz he knows she’s ok, as they continue on just like normal, completely aware of everything and their understanding of where each other is- mentally, physically, what they are thinking about.

I hope this doesn’t sound like an over reaction or anything. OF course she’s ok, OF COURSE he isn’t hurting her. It’s just what this moment on such a subtle level screams to me, I immediately saw it and thought how beautiful it was that they were having one of these moments, that he was checking in with her but they were still staying so quiet and within their story, and his physically to her was maybe a little unexpected in that moment because she doesn’t need him to “apologise” for anything, but it was just so moving thinking that’s maybe what it was. Whatever prompted that little moment, then get ready for the next section and- specifically S, what I feel supports this whole rant is the way he gets himself worked up emotionally again- that gradual transition into then somewhat out of, then fully back into character again. I would give anything to be able to talk to them and get them to explain their process. It’s more fascinating then anything else and because of their trust and connection and history it’s amplified to such an intimate level of understanding.

It’s not showy, it’s not performative, it’s for them and their process in a deeply honest way of understanding their characters and their story. It’s not copy paste the same expressions from another program, it’s all so essential to the story they are telling in the moment.

This still picture seems like just another one of their supportive moment, but the moving picture behind it I think tells so much more.

When T posted this picture she had the caption ‘I’ve got your back’ on it. She loves her tongue-in-cheek captions and quite literally he was holding her round her back. But pairing this with what was happening either side of this picture, it has double meaning in that she has his back- she encourages him to feel comfortable in exploring his characters. I don’t say that to make S seem weaker than T in this respect, I only say it because it’s exactly what S said and that it gives him so much strength to know what she loves and wants from him. I’m sure he did the same for her at a time or twenty- what ever she needed encouragement with he gave it to her, he was there for her unquestionably.

So the result of all that is it creates a moment of visually, he has her back, but in so many other invisible way she has his. They have each other’s backs. That’s what makes this image so beautiful.

(I hope I’ve said enough times throughout this that this is purely my interpretation of the moment and without being there or hearing them I don’t know anything for sure and this is based off what evidence of that they have said previously and do both in this moment and many others and there’s a common thread of how I interpret their artistry and interactions in this respect. It is the very nature of what they do to interpret it in an artistic way removed from any larger presumptions. An inconsequential moment where it could’ve had any number of meanings for them or simply none at all).

Oh weird question what queer headcanons have you utilized in ILP-🖌

not 100% sure what you mean by this! essentially all of the characters in ILP are queer, and arguably none of that is canon, so that would make them all queer headcanons... the most obvious is that cú chulainn is trans (as per @finnlongman's readings) bc i wanted to explore that alongside my own gender feelings and ballet feelings - if a character's skills are very connected to their body, how does a change in their relationship to their body affect that? ballet, like fighting, is all in the body

also it's a cú chulainn/fer diad fic although i will be honest, it is nowhere near as shippy as i think i might have originally planned for it to be (though it's been so long i don't really remember). i started it back when cc/fd was my medieval irish otp and i didn't ship cc/láeg at all which is why its vibes are the way that they are, but by the time i got to the end, my relationship to those characters had changed somewhat. obvs i stuck with the relationship dynamics i'd set up for the fic (changing them would not have worked, esp with how strongly i'd leant on parental!láeg) but that's kind of a factor in why it wasn't more shippy

although it was always intended to be more Group Shenanigans than romance, hence the whole group chats of the ulster cycle setup

(you can see that the vibes are quite different in my recent oneshots, on every level)

láeg is gay but also probably demisexual based on some of what he says in this fic and in valentáin's day. cormac is also gay. fergus is bi, and kind of a slut (affectionate). conall is bi and in a committed long-term relationship. naoise is straight but everybody is mystified by that bc it's so unexpected given his general vibes
