Thanks to a random burst of inspo, I had to submit these two to be a part of the Edgewave crowd, especially if it involved the amazing Alice + the Madness. It was so fun to give them "music festival outfits" too, the funniest part is how Ada's outfit is her signature "orange shirt and blue denim" 😆

A little bit of backstory/info just for fun: Ada and Mory have grown up bonding over music. After getting into several of the same metal and rock bands in high school, they started attending concerts together. Eventually, this became a tradition for the siblings, and even though Mory's more often than not off travelling the world, they still meet up for their annual favorites.

Neo Metal Sonic still calls Sonic their "loathsome copy" but at the same time, he's the one who gave himself the ability to copy other's biodata and mimic their abilities. It feels more like Neo actually leaning into her identity as a copy or at least taking advantage of that.

ME TOO!!!!!!! and very fair, hes mostly like ^_^ so we dont see it as much!!!!!!!! but i do like how it adds to his charm, most people know him as the ^_^ guy but then flashbang by his beautiful eyes when theyre actually open

#also i just dont draw him enough and thats on me #need to use the sketchbook as an excuse to draw other characters besides mochi and lime #interesting to note that oscars design is split down the middle where one half is very interesting and the other is normal guy #if you see him from the right he has those very light eyes + patch/scar on cheek + metal arm #but from the left he just looks normal #thats gotta mean something i just dont know what yet #being a detective on my own brain and storyline #i didnt intend on his design becoming this interesting at first he was just a normal dude with a patch on his face #and then design elements slowly started to accumulate #in all honesty though the heterochromia is still a beta idea #i havent 100% settled on it yet #im more a fan of very focused designs that go for a specific vibe and have less fanciness #so i might make both his eyes brown again #the arm is already pretty fancy #i havent decided yet though

i usually just post about reassassination and ultimate excalibur alongside less developed stories/universes but brother i have a LOT of stuff that i either hardly talk about or never talk about at all publicly ,,, mostly because they don't have any character designs done yet 💀

#like let me dump a few of the ideas that will probably never actually become real here:#1. story about two vampire hunter girls and one goes missing and the other has to go find her and fights various vampires along the way #(i actually did finish a few designs for this but scrapped it and now a lot of the plot aspects are in reassassination #such as a coven of 7 vampires based on the deadly sins - now the 7 assassins of the clear crucifix organisation in RAA)#2. darkstalkers-ish fighting game that i was really convinced i could make once i learned how to code -#- where the guardians of love and heartbreak fight to prove which love is real #there were multiple characters planned - puppy love which was like a cute girl with a big ass scary fuckin hellhound #sweetheart love who was a chocolate themed magical girl (her gimmick being that she could transform and her fighting style would change)#fake love who was like a scam love doctor old lady called dr.diva #pure lust who was a super tall vampire guy etc etc the list goes on #i kinda want to go through with that one. one problem! i cannot code fighting games #and the one that was pretty well developed - metallic miracle which had a pretty complicated story #basically the world is being attacked by alien creatures that can only be killed by children (never decided why tho)#so the fucked up government takes a bunch of 5-8 year olds and put them into comas and then turns them into cyborgs #to go on suicide missions to kill these aliens. mira's mother is the scientist who created the technology that can send them into comas #and keep their bodies moving n shit and she takes mira onto a different planet to try and save her but theyre found after a while #mira's mother is killed and mira is drafted in the kids v aliens war BUT she is immune to the coma technology #she fights fully aware of what is going on for around a year? and eventually the aliens are driven out and mira is super traumatised #and is one of the only survivors of this 'greater good project' - so they put her in a coma that actually works this time #and send her in a space capsule for years to give her some peace (didnt develop why shes in the space capsule)#anyway 50 years later mira is woken up and taken back to her home planet to help these other guys against smaller-scale threats #and the whole thing is about mira recovering from what happened to her learning to trust others and stuff #looking back the story is kinda edgy n doesnt really make sense and stuff but i think it could be interesting idk #is this oc rambling if its only in the tags?#whatever #oc rambling

event preview character finally lined up to see what a 5 year gap in art looks like

#They struggled with perspective a bit (a lot sometimes) in the past but have gotten pretty good at it recently + hair flows better #But I feel like the hat looks a bit more flat? Like there should be more reflexion coming off of it on account of the (assumed) metal on it #Ive also noticed a trend of faces looking a bit more soft and round (moe even) slowly getting more common but I can’t rly decide on whether #I like it or not all that well

I feel like it should be said, cuz some people are mildy stupid, but we do not owe you any explanations as to why certain alters exist or split off . We may give the explanations on our own accord, sure, but just because you don't get why an alter exists doesn't mean I have to hold your hand.

Even if the alter seems incredibly stupid to you. There's a fucking reason

Like, why would we ever have a MARIO KART FICTIVE? because it's our biggest escape in times of severe anxiety and a fragment developed himself solely to do nothing but play Mario Kart to keep us from having panic attacks.

Why do we have a BEATLES INTROJECT? Because he needed to exist so that we wouldn't kill ourselves at the end of one of our worst psychotic episodes of our life - The Beatles was what we clinged to for any grounded sense of reality, and an alter based on the one we looked up to most is what our brain needed so we didn't fucking die

Why do we have SO MANY WOLVES? none of your business.

Why do we have CRINGY FICTIVES EVERYWHERE? none of your business.

Why do we have alters that you personally don't like? Surprise surprise, it's trauma. And I'm not sharing that shit with you.
