What if after eating their dinner she grabbed him and told him she noticed a thing going on between them.

What if Dean denied it first (because it's Dean) but then admitted what he felt for Cas (because it's Charlie).

What if Charlie encouraged him to talk to Cas.

What if Dean said he was scared to lose him, either because Cas wouldn't feel the same way or because Dean thinks he loses everybody he cares about (maybe both).

What if she sort of convinced him to do something about it anyway.

What if her death just proved him right, that indeed he loses everyone he cares about, so he never said anything.

What if then?

i think it’s so nice that marie included adam in her little play. i haven’t seen the episode in a hot min so i cant remember if she really believes that sam and dean are sam and dean but it’s really funny to think about her accepting and processing that her favorite characters are actually real people and then remembering them being confused about adam in her play. who’s that, they asked, and she’s like damn! he wasn’t even ignored because the series ended! he was Forgotten forgotten!! au in which marie and some teenagers stage a jailbreak because if sam and dean won’t save their brother, someone has to.

I hustled and grinded so hard today!!!

#I wrote a lot of my personal piece im writing #and I had like 3 different meetings #I think im going to add a creative writing minor to my academic plan !#me blabbering in the rest of the tags:#so I really really hated writing once I got to highschool because im not good at academic writing #and last fall semester I took a composition class and it was my first time being told to not write something academic but rather tell a #story from our personal lives #so I wrote a piece on female friendships and I got a perfect score on it and it was like a gateway drug into me enjoying this process again #the female friendship piece got submitted for a deans writing award last semester (didnt win) but I still keep contact with that prof and #she was like I need you to take a creative writing class because I think you could thrive!!! so im in one right now and im rlly happy with #everything im doing :)#I really only laid out the outline for my professor and she cried which feels good not in a I made her cry way but just the outline of my #story made someone feel something!#and shes pushing me to submit it to a journal when its all finished up and its exciting and it makes me feel good #I dont think I exactly thrive in writing fic in this way either unfortunately #like I dont think fiction is my forte ig #idk idk rambling #but if you read this I LOVE YOU!

I saw you are reading the Emily books by LM Montgomery. Have you read them before? I like them so much. They have a very fall-like feel for me. 🍁🍂🍃

Yes!! I read them once eight or so years ago so there’s a lot about them that I’ve forgotten and am now rediscovering. They have a fall-like feel to me as well, there’s just a certain cozy coming-home vibe that I think characterizes so much of L.M. Montgomery’s writing. I recently finished rereading the Anne series and I kind of think the Emily series feels like the Anne series’s older, slightly more melancholy sister. Have you read any of Montgomery’s other books? I haven’t yet, but The Blue Castle is next on my list!

#for some reason with this second reading the character i have fixated on is dean priest #i am equal parts fascinated and horrified by him #i think he’s one of the most interesting characters in the whole series #complex mysterious imaginative intelligent melancholic kind of bitter and also a little pathetic #the friendship between him and emily is lovely and sweet and interesting but it is also weird and creepy as heck at the same time #because right now she is fifteen and he is her father’s age #and you know he’s just waiting for her to be ‘’old enough’’ to pursue romantically #and then there’s dear sweet personality-less teddy #i want to like him so bad but there’s just nothing there to like!#although i really enjoy the whole each-comes-when-the-other-calls thing #teddy by whistling like a bird #and emily by straight up using the Force #i kind of love the dynamic between ilse and perry #perry just repeatedly does embarrassing things without knowing or caring #and ilse gets very embarrassed on his behalf and it makes her so angry that she has to yell at him just to let off steam #she’s so mean to him! but it’s kind of funny #i can’t remember if they get married at the end of the last book?#anyway thank you for giving me an opportunity to ramble stupidly about these books 😆
