Kurogane & Fai: *loud sex noises*
[in the next room:]
Mokona: *bouncing around giggling* Kurogane and Fai are very happy!
Syaoran: *with his head buried under a pillow* oh come on! it's been 3 hours!

ritsu is so funny to me. he says shit like "I'm a completely normal middle schooler, I'm the utmost case of plain and simple" which is clearly something normal people say. he keeps a spoon in his pencil cup. and in his pocket. he got up in the middle of the night and did weird poses around the sink to try to make water float. he's a rude and judgy bitch but only in his head. when asked if he has friends, he responded with "I talk about the weather with pretty much anyone, so don't worry about me." he canonically doesn't listen to music. his brother thinks of him as his calm and collected little brother who always knows what to do, when in reality he's the most neurotic kid on the planet. he saw teru wearing a giant wig and thought "wow his brain must be so big." when he and shou first met, they beat the shit out of each other until he was knocked unconscious, and then when they met the second time, it was when shou came to his house unannounced and was like "hey do you want to help me kill my dad" and ritsu was like "okay. btw I think we have similar family trauma." he tried to zap a bug with psychic powers and then screamed for his brother's help when he couldn't get it. he used to cry as a child about spoons. his first instinct when seeing a spirit for the first time was to slam it repeatedly into his knee. he is the thirteen year old of all time.

ok I think the liberals overestimate the degree to which this is prevalent, but it absolutely is a problem in some leftist circles that people think “everyone who opposes the US = good.” unironically saw someone say something like putin is an important leader of the global anti-imperialism movement.
like idk what to tell you. the russian federation is not part of the imperial core yes but it still engages in imperialism. most principled leftists from former eastern block countries will tell you so. most principled russian communists (≠cprf types) will tell you so. sometimes there are conflicts between different imperialist capitalist states, a shock to some of you, I know. I just don’t understand this whole thing.. it seems contrary to what these people claim to believe. do you lick the boot of any far right anticommunist fascist as long as he opposes the US?

While Toshiro obviously had a good reason to leave the party and get back up, I think it would have been insanely funny if he stuck around
Like imagine the girl that you have a big fat crush on and literally proposed to got eaten but her brother insists that if they immediately go back they can save her, but instead of being like "we will have to use our rations sparingly" insists on eating monsters and recruits a guy who's main skill is cooking monster food. And after a long journey you find your crushes skeleton and then her bestie gal pal is like "yo I know necromancy" and starts arranging her skeleton and uses dragon flesh to bring her back. Despite all the tribulations your crush is finally back and when you admit the things you've done in order to bring her back she's like "wow that's so cool"
Like you don't understand how much money I would pay to see Toshiro's reaction to that

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*

WAIT A MIN WAIT A MIN- Has Peter ever gotten a *Beyoing-* whilst being tied up by a villain?? Bondage seems like an unfortunate fancy considering his job atm JAFVAJA
i think 1) peter's fortunate in that really, it is actually pretty difficult to restrain spider-man because of, you know, super-strength. that's kind of why he's into it, actually. because he has so much strength that it's really hot to him when he actually can get restrained. rare occurrence. takes a whole lot to pin him down.
2) spider-man gets boners all the time and the villains are just in agreement to be polite about it.

Is the reason why Optimus is such an unstoppable fighting force against Megatron because nerdy archivist Orion Pax spent so much time watching Megatronus’s every battle/move in the arena despite the fact the notion horrified him? The reason why we see Optimus often doing so well is literally because his old nerdy self took 1000s of mental screenshots to nerd over, and because Megatron wouldn’t think to fight against his own moves because he’s so often blinded by rage to even comprehend the idea…at least at first. This makes sense, right :’) ?? It really pays to be a nerd apparently.
Megatron: After all this time, Optimus, still at the top of your game!
Optimus: I’ve always been at the top of your game.
PAUSE
Megatron: …
Optimus: …
Megatron: You didn’t top me?!
*Meanwhile Ratchet’s dying in the corner by a mountain of zombies*

I feel that there’s a world of difference between “fandomizing real world politics and tragedies” (in my understanding - applying ‘fandom’ to, well, real world politics and tragedies eg. shipping war criminals or writing rpf for victims of traumatic events) and “making fandom art which acknowledges real world politics and tragedies” (in my understanding - political cartoons/art with a particular flag/etc.).
I’m not saying that the latter can’t be insensitive or in poor taste depending on execution but also…idk it’s weird to see tumblr activists freaking the fuck out over art of dunmesh senshi bringing food to Gaza. I can’t believe that’s the hill you want to kill (your own allies nonetheless!) on. We have people writing smut for about specific IOF soldiers or shipping Palestinian journalists, like, is the comic imagining a fictional character showing up to help people in a horrific situation really what you want to call tone deaf and insensitive?
