One thing I need the fandom to drop when it comes to Wu is them thinking he never talks about the ninja’s parents to them. It was never his information to disclose to Jay that he was adopted if he was even aware of that, it was up to Ed and Edna. If Jay’s mom had to make the tough decision of leaving her child behind and was never seen or heard from again despite being married to a movie star I don’t think she would’ve ran up the mountain to tell the Bros what just happened. I’m 75% sure he hardly even knew Dr. Julien or that Zane was a robot (poor guy probably couldn’t comprehend that robots could exist and be so human). Somewhere in the comics he holds a baby Cole and he was good friends with Lilly. Cole would’ve been surprised or confused when in S13 Wu says she never had a necklace like, “What do you mean? You knew my mother?” I feel at some point Cole either realizes he knows Wu from his childhood or Wu’s cryptically like “I remember you used to fight your parents on bedtimes constantly” and giggles

(Disclaimer: this is all my opinion, if anyone reading this doesn’t like Wu or disagrees with me ur valid to do so. Love u all really)

Yeah I’ve had a bit of time to think over the “Wu didn’t tell the ninja about their parents” and my blanket statement response would just be Wu couldn’t have told the ninja about their parents before their parents have even been conceptualised as characters.

The reason the ninja are continuously interesting for this many seasons is partially because their backstories weren’t told right at the beginning and they have room to develop and grow. Their parents characters are only introduced when it’s relevant to the plot, and are only canonically conceptualised right up to the season they get released. Which does make sense considering how many times the show was going to end. There’s no point planning seasons ahead of time if you aren’t sure those seasons will exist, otherwise you end up with unfinished and unsatisfying story arcs. The price of this is that the retcons contradict either Wu’s integrity or knowledge. Or do they?

Yeah I agree 100% with you on Jay’s mother. Wu probably doesn’t even know what happened to her, and considering what Nya said in s5, that elemental powers can skip generations, Wu may not have been sure Jay was her child. But even if he was, if Ed and Edna hadn’t told Jay, then it’s not really up to Wu, or at least he shouldn’t be held accountable more than Ed and Edna.

With Cole, I don’t think Wu really withheld any information about Lilly. I haven’t seen anyone debate this yet so maybe Cole doesn’t apply lol, but yeah I think Wu has been transparent about her probably. I mean considering how Wu and Cole were close, and Cole told Wu about her death as seen in s8/9 in his flashback. I haven’t seen the comics so idk how true this is (I don’t really consider the comics truly canon anyways) but I sometimes hc that Lilly kept her identity as master of earth from her family as sort of a way of dividing her work and home life, which is why Cole’s dad was originally against him being a ninja.

I also think that Wu knew Dr Julien (not very well) but didn’t know he died or got kidnapped afterwards and when he discovered Zane as a loner, and realised he didn’t remember, Wu told him that Zane had a family and that they’d look for him (which was a fruitless search bc dr Julien was at a lighthouse at sea) BECAUSE LOOK

…anyways. I think this argument is strongest with Kai and Nya’s parents. In my personal opinion I still think maybe they didn’t want Wu to tell them due to them feeling as if their parents abandoned them on purpose? Idk that’s just a theory based on how quick Kai was to turn on his dad and how much beef Nya had with her mum. Although I still think that Wu offscreen told the siblings what he knew if they asked, or that he’d make off hand comments about how cool their parents were (they were friends). Or maybe he didn’t out of fear of pressuring them. I’d feel like he’d relate considering his own father. Maybe that’s the whole reason why he didn’t tell Nya about her water powers. Because she was doing so well as a samurai and didn’t want her to live through that pressure.

Idk I think there are so many cool options when trying to make sense of Wu that I feel like it’s a shame no one sees that potential. On that note, thanks anon now I have generated more ideas about Wu and I really want to make something out of them now :P

Ship Tag Game!

First ship: I don't really know, to be honest. Maybe Percy and Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series?

First OTP: Probably have to go with Finnrey.

Current favorite ship: Zeb and Shulma from Findswoman's Lasan series.

Ship(s) you wish had become endgame: Finnrey again, and um... I know there's a couple more. Suddenly I'm forgetting every piece of media I've ever watched. I used to ship Sabezra, but sometime before or maybe after the finale I decided I was fine with them not becoming a couple, so I can't really say I wish that one was endgame. Oh, um... I also think Clover should have ended up with King Julien instead of Sage Moondancer. I realize they married her off to explain her absence in the Madagascar films, but frankly, the character development in All Hail King Julien is so good that it retroactively destroys the lemurs' characters in the main films, which is quite the accomplishment considering the films came first. That scene in Madagascar 3 when Maurice cracks a hopeful smile at the prospect of Julien having fallen to his death hits very differently after watching the Netflix series. The show is supposed to be canon compliant with the films, but the lemurs were only supposed to be 2-dimensional characters and when you flesh them out their original characterizations become weaker for it. I do think it's funny that I can say that I don't consider the original films canon in the Madagascar franchise. Um... this is only tangentially related to ships. Back on topic.

Ship you wish were canon: Hm. That's a tricky one. Most of my ships are canon. I'm actually not going to say Finnrey again, for reasons I'll explain later.

Ship that most of the fandom hates but you love: Let me see... Unpopular ships I ship... I really can't think of a ship the majority of X fandom outright hates that I either don't also hate or don't care about. Am I really that basic? I don't know. Most likely an interracial pairing (you know how fandoms are.) I think a lot of people were opposed to Miles Morales and Gwen Stacey ending up together when the first Spider-Verse movie came out, but the trailer for the new one seems to have won a lot of people over to it. (I mean, come on. He drew her in his sketchbook and was embarrassed that she saw it. That's cute.) Still not sure I'm going to forgive the fandom just yet for making the most popular ship in the fandom the one with the cartoon pig in it, but this isn't about what I hate. Oh! I know. Maiko and Kataang from The Last Airbender. Everybody's always dunking on them. It's not like I don't see their points, Zutara's a good ship too, but I think they pulled the canon ships off, despite what the fandom may think.

You don’t even watch the show, but you ship it: Oh, I know I have a few of these, but it's so tricky to remember couples from shows you don't watch... um... Okay, I'm definitely basic for picking this one, but Adrien and Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug. Peak Idiots to Lovers content

Ship you wish had had a different storyline: Any ship where the characters start act out of character towards the end. Like, what was up with Kanera? "Must be the truth serum talking?" You've known each other for like over a decade and she's pregnant with your child and you don't believe her when she says she loves you????? And then there's Finnrey.

Even though there were several Finnrey moments in The Rise of Skywalker, Rey turned into a real jerk for no real reason, her personality functionally identical to a door-slamming teenager who yells that no one understands them and belittles everyone around them. Rey treated Finn, her best friend in the universe, like absolute garbage, because he "didn't understand." (And it turns out he did understand, because he was Force-sensitive this whole time and never got around to telling her!) She was rude to him, she bodily threw him backwards with the Force when he tried to help her, showing disregard for his safety when he had nothing but the most fervent regard for hers (oh, and in the novelization, Rey mind-tricks Finn into letting her go off alone, which is so condescending and gross and makes her Force-throwing him even worse,) healing the person who gave Finn his enormous back scar while having never bothered to heal said enormous back scar, and then making out with that same person who gave Finn his enormous back scar. Talk about a betrayal. Finn should be absolutely pissed at Rey, but he's too busy being insignificant to the plot and taking a back seat to a story he should be at the forefront of.

So yeah. Finn deserves way better than Rey and honestly the fact that they're still even friends makes me want to throw up a little, but then again, Rey probably hasn't even told Finn about half the things he should be mad at her about. Yada yada yada, the sequel trilogy is an utterly pointless waste of time, everybody already knows this. (Apologies for basically turning this entire post into a rant about a ship/trilogy I haven't been invested in since 2019, but I really haven't been invested in many popular or controversial ships since then. This is probably why. That or the fact that I kinda just consume less media than I used to, and the media I do consume isn't ship-heavy these days.)

Favorite ship that’s endgame: I'm going to say Chidi and Eleanor from The Good Place, since that's the most recent endgame ship that comes to mind.

Dandelion

Billy never thought that he would become a dad. Besides believing that it wouldn’t be possible for a person like him, he also was scared shitless. He’d seen first hand what happens when the wrong kind of person became a parent, he knew how screwed up things could get. He had this huge fear that he would ruin a kid’s life. And even though Steve had assured him countless times that Billy would be a fantastic dad if they were to have a kid, he also accepted that Billy wasn’t ready for fatherhood and he may never be. So Steve never pushed the idea.

Then Max had a baby.

Out of the pair, no one expected Billy would be the one hit with baby fever.

Max was only able to get three weeks of leave from her work, so Billy volunteered to help out with little Julien. Julien was precious: He slept for long hours and rarely cried, he loved playing peek-a-boo and was easily entertained by crinkly paper, and when he got especially fussy, all Billy had to do was put him in his swing and Julien would knock right out.

Billy would come home from Max and Lucas’ and gush to Steve about whatever him and Julien got up to that day. It was usually the same sort of stuff, babies don’t really do that much, but Steve would listen fondly to Billy’s report while they cooked dinner together. Eventually Max found a sitter and changed her work hours, so Billy didn’t spend as much time with the runt.

A few years passed and Billy mentioned having kids of their own. Steve and him were in bed, the light on the nightstand casting enough light for Billy to read but not too much that Steve couldn’t doze off.

“Steve.” Billy ruffled Steve’s hair gently, letting his hand wander down to rub his back. Steve blinked over at him sleepily, his eyes a little unfocused without his glasses.

“What’s wrong?” He asked, frowning.

“No, nothing’s wrong. I just… I’ve been thinking lately, maybe we could look into adoption?” Billy wrung his hands together nervously. When Steve didn’t answer immediately, Billy interjected, “Only if you want to, of course! Fuck, nevermind. It’s stupid, I shouldn’t have even brought it up.”

Billy picked his book up, not able to look back at his partner. Steve hadn’t seen him this nervous since Billy had asked him to marry him. This conversation caught Steve off guard- and not only because he was half asleep. They’d talked about kids before when they were freshly married (technically unofficially, but whatever), Billy said he didn’t think he’d ever want to go down that path. And now, Billy was bringing it up.

“Babe, it’s not stupid.” Steve said seriously. “I want to do that with you.”

Adoption for two gay men in 2000 wasn’t easy. They were basically at the bottom of the ‘list’ of candidates and they’d been through multiple near adoptions that eventually fell through in just the past two years. Steve was beginning to lose hope, but Billy stayed determined. He called the adoption agency every week and he stopped by in person once a month. Steve told him he was probably bothering the agency, he said that they had their application and when the right kid came along, everything would work out. Billy’s perspective wasn’t quite as rose-colored as Steve’s: He realized that the agency didn’t want a same-sex couple adopting a baby. They may not outright say it, but he could tell. Billy wanted to show them that they were just as serious as any other couple.

In November of 2001, they got the call from the agency. The weekend before they brought their daughter home, Billy and Steve prepared the second bedroom for their new addition. Steve excitedly put up a fresh coat of paint while Billy struggled through assembling furniture for the bedroom. When they finished, they stood side by side in the doorway, misty eyed and excited for their daughter’s homecoming.

“We’re going to be parents.” Steve sighed, he let his head fall to Billy’s shoulder.

“Fuck, I’m so scared.” Billy admitted. He took a deep breath and tried to ease the panic creeping in. Steve gently wrapped his arms around him, pulling Billy in to hold him. Billy sagged into the hug.

“I am too, but I know it’s gonna be okay.” Steve said.

“How could you know that though?” Billy asked fearfully. So many things could go wrong, what if this was a mistake? Steve tightened his arms around Billy and leaned them against the doorframe.

“Because I know you. I’ve seen you grow into the man you are today and I know you’re going to be an amazing dad.”

Billy knew that for every developmental milestone that Abby passed, he should be excited. Don’t get him wrong, he was beyond happy to see his daughter growing and becoming a little person… but he also got sad? Abby was growing up so fast, one day she was crawling around on the carpet and the next she was racing around the apartment wreaking havoc. It felt like only a few days ago she drooled and needed to be spoon fed, now she was talking in barely formed sentences. Sometimes Billy would just curl up next to Steve in bed at night and have to cry about how big Abby was getting. Steve would rub his back, comforting his partner as best as he could. These breakdowns started happening more frequently as Abby’s 2nd birthday got nearer and nearer. Billy was aware that he was being dramatic, but his little girl was growing up way too fast. He felt like he was going to blink and then she’d be gone, old enough not to need her dads anymore.

“Billy, stop worrying about the future, Abby’s barely two! You have got to just live for today.” Max scolded him during one of Abby’s and Julien’s playdates after he had opened up to her. It was a sunny June day and Julien was happily keeping Abby occupied on a blanket in Lucas and Max’s yard. Lucas had been called out of town for a work emergency and Steve had gotten stuck covering a late shift. The step-siblings watched the kids from the porch, periodically bringing out new toys and snacks.

“Yeah, that’s what Steve keeps telling me. That’s what everyone keeps telling me, shitbird.” Billy huffed, rolling his eyes. “I can’t help it!”

“Listen to me, I felt the same way. Every time I had to go into work, every time I left Julien with you or Lucas, or the babysitter, I was so afraid that I was missing out on his childhood. Even when I was with him, all I could think about was how I could never get this moment back. But it’s useless to think that way! I realized that I couldn’t stop time from passing so I needed to enjoy it while it lasted!” Max insisted. She grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. Billy squeezed back. Even though Max was younger than him, he appreciated the wisdom she occasionally provided. He was happy that their days of fighting and heated arguing were left behind at the house on Cherry Lane.

Billy looked out at the yard, he watched the way Abby would giggle when Julien ran circles around her with his toy airplane. She made grabby hands at him and squealed, “My turn!” Julien passed the toy plane to her and she zoomed it around. Max gave his shoulder a hard pat and announced that she was going to get food ready. Billy walked over to the rainbow blanket and sat down beside the duo.

“Daddy attack!” Abby jumped up, discarding the airplane to wrap her arms around his shoulders and climb onto his back. He held onto her chubby little legs and she laughed into his ear. He tried not to dwell on the future, let himself enjoy the moment. “Down.” Abby instructed him and he helped her back to the ground. She plucked a nearby dandelion from the ground and held it to Billy triumphantly. “Present for you.”

“Thank you baby, I love it.” He smiled at her, taking the dandelion. She beamed at him, clearly happy that her gift was well received. He tucked the yellow flower into the breast pocket of his shirt. Julien came bounding up to them excitedly, hiding something behind his back.

“I have a present for you too, Uncle Billy!” Julien grinned and offered him a wiggling pink worm clasped between his fingers. Billy chuckled and took the worm and Julien bounded off - probably to find more worms.

Abby went back to playing with the airplane and some of Julien’s matchbox cars. She pretended that Billy’s arm was the road and rolled the cars over it, back and forth. Every so often, she would show Billy a new car, telling him which color it was or if she liked it or not. Steve had been working on colors with her a lot recently, and Abby had gotten into the habit of pointing out the colors of things frequently. It was really adorable and she always looked proud when she got the color right. And when Billy would catch those intrusive thoughts about the future, he gave it his all not to dwell on them and instead focus on Abby rolling her car over his arm. Max rejoined them with a big plate of fruit and sandwiches to share for an early dinner, calling Julien over to eat.

Before Billy knew it, a few hours had passed and the sun was beginning to set. He helped Max bring all the toys back in the house and the kids savored the last few minutes of light while they cleaned up. Billy caught a glimpse of the clock on his trip inside; It was nearing 7pm and Steve would be arriving soon to pick them up. Billy and Max tried to coax the kids inside with the promise of a movie, but Julien had other ideas.

“Five more minutes? Please? Momma, I wanna see the fireflies!” Julien tugged at Max’s pant legs, giving her his best puppy dog eyes. “I promise I’ll be good for bedtime!” For a five year old, Julien was quite the negotiator. Of course Max caved which meant that Abby also got to chase the growing number of fireflies blinking around the yard. Billy couldn’t help but grin watching the cousins running around- and periodically jumping up- to try and catch the glowing bugs. After struggling to jump high enough to reach any of the fireflies, Abby pouted at Billy.

“Hold me?” She asked and how could Billy say no? He lifted her up in the air and she swung her little hands around, attempting to catch at least one bug. Billy could tell that she was getting frustrated when each time she came back fruitless. Abby got distracted by Julien showing Max all of the bugs he had captured, a faint green-ish yellow glow coming from his closed fists. “Daddy! Want one.” Abby’s chin wobbled - one of her tell tale signs that a meltdown was coming.

“Okay honey, I’ll get you one.” He smiled and moved her so that she was propped on his hip. They walked slowly around the yard together and Billy caught one for her. He helped her get it in her hand and her eyes widened. “Now you’ve got to be real careful, you don’t want to squish it right?” Abby shook her head no, wanting to keep her new friend forever. Billy watched the way she would peek into her fist to catch a glimpse of the small bug, finding it sweet how gentle she treated it. She kissed the top of her hand and said “I love you” to the tiny insect hidden within. Billy was so transfixed with her that he didn’t notice Steve’s arrival; It startled him when a hand met the small of his back. Abby lit up even more once she saw Steve.

“Papa look! Bug!” She opened up her hand to show Steve the bug, but the firefly took the opportunity to make its escape and flew off into the night sky before Abby could close her hand. She gasped and tried to reach for it in a futile attempt. Here comes the meltdown... or so Billy thought.

“Oh Abby, it was such a beautiful firefly! Looked like it was a really good flyer too huh?” Steve smiled and Abby only pouted a little. “Now it’s going to go home and tell all of its friends about you. And we gotta go home too sweetheart, it’s getting pretty late. Let’s say bye to Julien and Aunt Max, okay?” Steve was great at de-escalating a situation, he always knew exactly the right thing to say to stop Abby’s tears. Billy put Abby back down on her feet so that she could go over to Max and Julian to say goodbye. Steve turned to Billy and gave him a quick peck on the lips before taking his hand and walking them over to the trio waiting for them.

“Seems like you were able to get out of your head today, I’m glad.” Max said to Billy during their hug.

Once their farewells were said and done and they were all loaded up into Steve’s car, the small family made the short drive back home. Steve’s hand rested over Billy’s atop his thigh, periodically giving it a light, reassuring squeeze.

Back home, Steve carried a sleepy Abby in from the car and straight to her bed (he hated for her to miss brushing her teeth, but made an exception because of the long day she had had). While Steve helped Abby get settled in, Billy headed into their bedroom. He picked one of the heavier hardcover books off the bookshelf and pulled the dandelion out of his pocket. He tucked the wilting flower between the pages, saving it so that he could remember the day. Steve came into the bedroom as he was reshelving the book, he walked straight to Billy and wrapped his arms around him.

“Had a good day?” Steve asked. Billy twisted in his grip, turning to face Steve. They shared a few slow kisses, with no intention to escalate, only to be in each other’s space after being apart for the day. Billy pulled back, hands still holding onto Steve’s waist securely.

“Yeah, it was really good.” He smiled. Sure Abby was growing up, but they had so many years ahead of them, so many warm summer days just like this one. Although Billy didn’t expect he could completely quell his anxieties about the future, he was ready to start enjoying the moments as they happened.

Little green riding hood

This was going to be Kai but Lloyd fit better

Oh my gosh like the fandoms expectations for the green ninja

Lloyd was told by his Uncle Wu to go pick up some tea from Mystake

On his way back, he keeps running into Akita, who’s trying to warn him of danger, but Lloyd can’t understand her

The danger is Harumi is following him. Lloyd doesn’t see her

When Lloyd reaches the monastery, Harumi is there, pretending to tend the place

She says that she’ll take the tea to Wu, and Lloyd is give her the tea, when Akita comes and scares Harumi off

Akita sniffs out Wu and after she finds him, reveals herself as a human

Then they all live happily ever after (except Harumi) the end

Snow White

Zane is the son of the oh so famous Dr. Julien, the royal inventor, but the King (ice elemental from the elemental alliance) takes a liking to Zane, and adopts him when Dr. Julien dies

Now Zane is the prince woo

The King also takes a liking to the ice emperor, but that was a mistake, because he sneakily kills the king and takes the throne for himself

“Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the coldest of them all?”

It’s Zane

So IE tells Vex to go kill Zane, but Vex doesn’t actually know how to kill a nindroid so he just tells him to run into the forest

That’s where Zane meets the 7 dwarves

Hungry (Cole) Chatty (Jay) Confused (teen Wu) Flirty (Kai) Grumpy (Morro) Happy (Echo) and Sleepy (Lloyd)

Later he meets P.I.X.A.L. who immediately catches his heart

The IE finds out that Zane is still alive, and decides that since Vex didn’t help him, he was going to have to kill Zane himself

He disguises himself and goes into the forest

He gives Zane an apple that gives him a fatal virus, but Zane doesn’t realize it’s bad so he dies (wow shocker)

Then the IE falls off a cliff

The 7 dwarves hold a small funeral and invite P.I.X.A.L.

P.I.X.A.L. realizes that Zane isn’t dead dead, so she kisses him and he comes back to life

They go back to the kingdom and Zane is crowned king, and P.I.X.A.L is queen. The dwarves are advisors

Then they all live happily ever after the end

Echo

Dr. Julien didn’t want Zane to know he was building a little brother for him, because he was getting sick, and thought he was going to die soon, and he didn’t want Zane to be sad at his brother and his father not being around

So he struck up a deal with Samukai the Skeleton

Samukai would give him a private place to build Echo, and a potion to help him get better if Samukai got to keep Echo

Not having much of an option, Dr. Julien agreed, hoping that Echo and Zane would find each other on their own

Echo was built and Samukai kept him in a lighthouse

Dr. Julien tells Zane of his missing brother

Events of Snow White (seen above) ensue and now Zane is king yay

Morro is a wanted thief and while getting away, he runs into what he thinks is an abandoned lighthouse

Only to find a rusty nindroid

Echo explains he’s always wanted to see the real world but he never got to

Morro sneaks him out and they head to the kingdom to celebrate the king’s birthday

Echo realizes that he’s the king’s brother, and he a Morro go back to ask Samukai questions

Samukai does an exposition dump, and stabs Morro, before Morro simply blows him away

Morro dies but he’s a ghost so it’s okay

They return to the kingdom and Echo FINALLY meets Zane

Morro and Echo start dating

Then they all live happily ever after the end

The Little Mermaid

Jay was always fascinated with little toys he found from human shipwrecks

He would often go on and on about what he thought they were all used for

His father may have been King Cliff, but Jay was practically raised by Ed and Edna, who taught him about the human world

His mom is dead rip

He goes to the surface and finds Nya, who he immediately falls in love with

He stays hidden, but sings Nya a little song

The ship almost wrecks, but Jay saves Nya. She’s barely waking up to his song again before he swims off. She wants to know who that voice was

Jay finds a locket with Nya and her brother in it, and he wants to take it to Nya, so he tells his dad

His dad isn’t happy that Jay fell in love with a human

After another fight with his father, Jay goes off and gets lost, but is found by Nadakhan

Nadakhan says he can make Jay human, all he has to do is wish, and Jay gets 3 wishes total. After the third wish, Nadakhan gets something of Jay’s

Jay’s first wish is to be human, his second is that he won’t be able to speak because he wants to save his 3rd wish

Nadakhan grants Jay’s wishes and Jay goes to learn to become human. He gives the locket to Nya

Nya tells him about her brother’s romantic escapades (see below) but she also tells him that she has to get married soon or she might not be able to support her career in technological advancement

She has her sights (or rather ears) set on the lovely voice she heard that night, but Jay can’t tell her that that was him

They meet Nadakhan who has come to get Jay’s third wish, but Jay won’t use it

Nadakhan says that if Jay doesn’t use his third wish by sundown the next day, he was going to kill Nya

Nadakhan uses magic to sound like Jay, and Nya has to marry him (she’s under a spell)

The next day, Jay still hasn’t made his third wish by sundown and Nya starts dying

Jay wishes her to stay alive, and says even if Nadakhan takes his legs and he never gets to see Nya again, he’ll be fine, just as long as she lives

Nadakhan grants the wish, but the spell on Nya fades away and she falls in love with Jay

I don’t know what to do with Nadakhan, I think I’ll have him just take the boat and leave

Then they all live happily ever after the end

Flirty and the Beast

Kai is the biggest flirt in their village

Everyone knows he’s just a blacksmith who likes fighting, but men and women alike can’t get enough of his flirtatious exploits

Though he’s never actually known what real love is. He also wants to go out on an adventure, but the closest he’s ever gotten was books

One day, Nya wants to take her samurai x project to ninjago city, and Kai tells her to have fun

While Cryptor (literally couldn’t find a better villain please work with me) is trying to get Kai to date him, Kai receives a message from Nya that she’s in trouble

Kai runs off to try and save her and that’s when he finds out that Nya’s been taken prisoner by an anacondrai looking person

She introduces herself as Skylor, and she says she’ll let Nya go if Kai stays with her

Kai agrees and Nya goes back to their village to get help

Nya tells Cryptor about Kai, and he just laughs it off, because Nya’s a women, and all women are crazy, but he decides that if Nya is going crazy, he could hold it against Kai

But he can’t find Kai

Back at Skylor’s mansion castle, Kai gets curious and finds the staff making Skylor a snake

After she scares him, he runs into the woods and is attacked by wolves, but Skylor saves him

They star falling in love after that

Kai asks Skylor if he could visit Nya, and Skylor reluctantly lets him go for good, thinking he might like that most

Kai also tells them of Skylor, finally realizing he loves her, and Cryptor decides to get rid of her, because “if I can’t have Kai, no one can”

They fight

After stopping Cryptor (Nya was able to shut him off) Kai shucking finally kisses Skylor and she turns into a Normal human

Wanting to help Kai go on and adventure, Skylor takes him, and Nya on a trip to visit a beach (queue previous story)

then they live happily ever after the end

Noir locks

Cole never wanted to sing and dance, but he loved watching the lumberjacks

One day he followed them out to a part of the woods he was unfamiliar with

He explores a bit more and finds a house. There seems to be fresh food, he didn’t eat breakfast and was starving, so he sneaks in

There’s cake

After eating the vanilla cake instead of the chocolate or strawberry, Cole decides to take a nap. He woke up super early to catch the lumberjacks, and walking for so long made him exhausted

He finds the most luxurious bed he’s ever slept in

He’s woken up to a high pitched scream

He sees an ivory and gold colored bear and starts screaming too

Two more bears come up the stairs

After they all calm down, the bears introduced themselves as Vania, Seliel, and Kataru

Kataru says his sister is usually here as well but she was out doing something else

Cole asks what the heck is going on and why there were talking bears sleeping in beds and eating cake

Vania explains that her father cursed her and Seliel, and Kataru was just a bear formling

Cole decides to see if he can do anything about it, so Vania leads him to her fathers mine

Cole try’s to reason with Vangelis, but the king won’t have it

Vania explains that Cole needs to shave Vangelis’s beard because that’s where he stores his magic

Cole does, but Vania and Seliel are still bears

Vangelis later explains that his magic is actually from a magic skull and he just tells people that it’s in his beard because he wants to throw them off

Cole tries to steal the skull, and Vangelis catches him and turns Cole into a bear

After fighting Vangelis and ultimately getting the skull, Cole runs off

He takes the skull back to Kataru who destroys it

Vania, Cole and Seliel turn back

Not having any real magic anymore, and just being a horrible person, Vangelis is knocked off the throne and Vania takes over

Then they all live happily ever after the end

A/N: i'm gonna respond to this in sections bc it's quite long so bare with me.

Howdy y’all, 🤠 again. Yes, I didn’t in fact die. I’m sorry though that I kept getting sidetracked and couldn’t submit this until now, my boss decided to keep dumping her work into my lap. So I just wanna preface this by stating that I’m going to try and say what I want to as coherent as possible, but I have pretty severe ADHD so I’m not always as easy to understand as I think I am in my head, and I often go off on tangents, over explain things and circle back to topics randomly without realizing. Im basically going to go over their relationship over the years as I said previously (I’m not gonna go into detail about every single scandal and shitty thing Juliet did over the years, because we’d be here all year. so I figure I won’t cover them here, but rather let people ask specific questions if they want to. Remember, I was present for pretty much everything so feel free to ask.😊), but I’m also going to do kind of a mini deep dive into Andy’s behavior and actions (because although the snakes will hit you with every excuse in the book, and tell you that you’re looking too far into things and that it doesn’t matter, it does. The way a person acts in general and towards people around them is very relevant when talking about someone’s health, happiness, and well-being.) To start off, let’s take it all the way back to the time before Juliet’s reign of terror, when Andy and Scout were still together. In all honesty from what I saw of them together (and I saw pretty much everything they posted, I’m only a year younger than Andy, and I was quite into him when he was on MySpace and such, and I always watched anything with him and Scout together because they were fucking adorable lol) they had a really healthy relationship. Not once did I get weird vibes from them. The way Andy acted toward and with Scout, you could tell they really loved each other and were happy together. They had nothing to prove. It just was normal. (For any of you who are younger, or didn’t come into the picture until Andy was already post-scout and would like to see some videos of them together, you could generally search on YouTube for it, but also there’s a specific channel on there called like bring the milk tea or something that has videos of old Andy blogs and also Andy and scout on stickam and such. Worth a look if you’re curious) They weren’t constantly all over each other like possessive pack dogs *ahem Juliet ahem* and whenever Andy mentioned scout he didn’t need to shower her in compliments. They both seemed very secure in both themselves and the relationship. Super cute. Initially when they broke up it seemed quite odd. I didn’t really expect it. It got even weirder when he states that he and Juliet are together. It didn’t feel like they fit together at all (and no I’m not talking about from a fame or success perspective. At least not yet lol) As I’ve said I got bad vibes from Juliet right from the get go. Andy already seemed to be acting not like himself. (Also snakeys have argued that it’s just that he’s more mature now and that’s why he acts nervous and constantly looks Ike he wants to die. 🙄 maturity doesn’t mean losing your fucking personality and being unhappy most of the time. Jesus Christ.) it seemed like they got possessive of each other and constantly needed to show people how in love they were. Pictures, videos, and fucking public love paragraphs to show they are, in fact, in a super real relationship and they love each other. It also felt like Andy’s family was in on this whole weird charade.They (Chris honestly) started to defend her degenerate behavior and attack anyone who had even a whisper of negative things to say about her or their relationship. It was like watching a group of awkward, pretty mediocre actors put on a play about them being together. (I’ve hit the text limit now, but there will be more that I will write just after I submit this one though, fear not haha. N, you can either post this now or wait until I submit the rest, it’s up to you.) 1 / ? -🤠

A/N: i was here for a lot of it as well so i do remember some of this. although i did join the fandom shortly after him and juliet got together (i joined like around the time she was on the voice) i literally remember hoping that him and scout would get back together bc juliet just rubbed me the wrong way and i didn't know why at the time. & side note i actually do recommend people go look at old videos of andy and scout they were really adorable. there is this one video of them singing (i think a carrie underwood song lol) in the car and it's really cute. but yeah just bc he's older doesn't mean his whole entire personality changes. you can be any age and act however you want. i could even use jenna marbles & julien solomita (a youtube couple) as an example, they've been together for i think like 8 or 9 years and are about the same age as A&J (julien being around andy's age & jenna around juliet's age) & although they can have mature adult conversations and all of that, they still act like idiots and joke around together. neither of them look uncomfortable or are afraid of saying certain things like andy is around juliet. so andy aging doesn't mean shit in regards to his personality doing a 180.

🤠okay, so part two here we go. (Also I apologize if I get the chronological order of anything I talk about incorrect, I’m a bit scattered sometimes and the next ask I make will be the one where I talk about the domestic abuse and I tend to get quite heated, which only makes my brain function worse lol) so the point at which Andy was trying to get fans to go vote for/ support Juliet when she was on the voice seemed really fishy. I’m all for supporting the work of the people you love, but it’s kinda strange how hard Andy was pushing this at the time. Too hard in my opinion. I’m obviously aware that it was helpful in the end and he more or less got what he was asking for. But it was like he absolutely needed people to vote for her. As if he would get in trouble if they didn’t. So around 2012 or 2013 it felt like things really went down the shitter from there and just got progressively worse. (I never knew why for the longest time, but after they revealed that Vegas wedding that happened in about that time frame, it made a lot of sense.) Andy’s behavior began to change towards his fans. There are a lot of accounts of this happening from fans themselves and a lot of people said that 1. It was worse with Juliet around, and 2. a lot of the time it would happen towards females especially. ( I think more towards the “pretty” fans but don’t count me on that, I don’t know for sure.) This was completely night and day. Especially coming from the same man who used to always defend his fans and once stated something along the lines of he would never have a crazy or awkward fan story because he loves and is grateful for all of his fans and he won’t get upset if they’re just really excited. I would understand if these fans crossed the line in some way (like the later incident of fans finding his address and harassing them, which is unacceptable no matter who the people are) but from most if not all of the fan stories I’ve heard, they didn’t. They were being respectful and didn’t do anything to warrant this happening to them besides showing up. Which brings me to my next point, a lot of these negative experiences were caused by Juliet. Either she was the one being mean to people, she was causing Andy to be mean to people on her behalf, or her presence was upsetting Andy to the point that he was angry and started being rude and irritable. What scares me the most are the accounts of Andy having a whole Jekyll and Hyde thing, depending on weather or not Juliet was present. Happy when he’s free of her and miserable when he isn’t. In videos of him where Juliet is behind the camera he always seems nervous and strange. Like he’s afraid to mess up. That’s fucking alarming to say the least. You would think that the last thing one would want to do if another person brings them this much anger, stress, and anxiety, the LAST thing they would want to do is fucking marry them. Right? He literally started barely smiling at one point and really doesn’t anymore. I mean for Christ’s sake look at his wedding photos. What’s suppose to be one of the happiest moments of your life and to quote another anon with a different ask, he looks like he’s being dragged to the gallows. (And I get really fucking Angry honestly when snakeys tries to pass it off as “oh he’s awkward he doesn’t know how to smile” or “omg he’s being dramatic for the aesthetics” in some pictures, yes. But why the fuck would you look like that in pictures with the “love of your life” who you now regularly write cringy paragraphs publicly professing your love and complete adoration for? Andy knows how to smile genuinely. Ffs he used to. He smiled genuinely when he was a kid, he smiled genuinely with scout, and he smiled genuinely when Juliet wasn’t around. He doesn’t smile when she is there, and if he does, it is pretty much always visibly fake.) So I may backtrack a little later, but right now I want to talk about the fact that Juliet IS an abuser. More specifically, the plane incident. (Word limit. TBC.) 2 / ? -🤠

A/N: yes. 100%. when it comes to the wedding photos i will never understand people (specifically snakeys) writing off his behavior as him "just being dramatic for the aesthetics". is that something he would do in photoshoots? yeah. is it something he may do on stage? sure. something he would do in an interview? maybe. but candid shots of him on one of the "happiest days of his life"? wtf no. & idk why people think that.

🤠 Just before I start, again, with the pictures, I really don’t think that Andy is enough of a self absorbed egotistical dick that he would actually sit there and put on the whole “miserable tough guy” act in every fucking photo he takes. Ah yes, the infamous plane incident. So straight up, Juliet exposed herself as an abuser, and brought out every bullshit excuse in the book (and made Andy go along with them) to try to cover it up. 1. She was drunk. Honestly this is total bullshit. I say this same thing when people defend cheating or any other degenerate behavior with the excuse of intoxication and I will say it now. Being drunk does not make you a different fucking person. It does not change the thoughts in your head. What it does do is impair your ability to make decisions and judgement skills in general. It’s the same reason why people drive drunk. It’s routine. Its what they would normally do. And because they’re drunk, they can’t see any reason why they shouldn’t do that. Juliet gets drunk, she and Andy fight, she wants to hit him, and because she’s drunk she doesn’t think that she shouldn’t fucking put her hands on him. 2. She hit him in “self defense” and he broke her ribs.(There’s several points I have debunking this) first of all let’s get this out of the way, no one on that plane (including the very real witness who just so happened to be an adult film actress (I think?) who you so love to discount because of it) saw him strike her or even touch her at any time. Two, you are in fucking airplane seats sitting right the fuck next to each other with an armrest in between. It would be pretty fucking hard to break your ribs unless they were made of actual glass, or Andy’s real name is Bruce fucking banner. Bones are surprisingly strong and I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it’d be damn near impossible for him to do that to you, which brings me to three, if he had broken your ribs you would not be fucking standing up, thrashing around, whining like a little bitch, and oh by the way, continuing to abuse your husband for the second time on that flight. Four, you had a miscarriage. (When I was trying to conceive with my husband it was very difficult. I had two miscarriages before I finally had my son. I’m fully aware of how devastating having one is.) which is why if you are not lying (which I fully believe that Juliet would stoop that low just to get sympathy, especially with this big of a scandal. But I don’t actually have proof of this so I will say that it is just speculation on my part) I don’t fucking care. I am not unsympathetic to her if this did actually happen as I said, however, You do not get to make any excuse for putting your hands on another person out of anger. Ever. I don’t care who you are, I don’t care what kind of stress you are under, I don’t care if you are inebriated in any way and I sure as hell don’t care what the fuck you have between your legs. You do not hurt anyone. Point blank period. Five. You are a woman, you can’t hurt him. This one, actually enrages me. We all know your crusty ass pulled this one out (and threw around trump supporters a few times for good measure) because you know damn well how society and the media views and deals with abusive women. Women can abuse. Women who are shorter or weaker than their target can abuse. The fact that there are people who either don’t know that or don’t agree with that is absolutely baffling. Six. The same (I believe) porn actress. Literally saw you beating your own face with the restraints you had to be put in (which by the way flight attendants only ever use restraints as an absolute last resort when someone becomes a danger to the others on board, so she had to be acting absolutely deranged) to give yourself a bloody nose to claim Andy hit you. Then you proceed to act like a child and tell Andy to call your fucking dad. (Which kinda proves that whole Scientology thing honestly) what in the hell. I stg as long as I am breathing I will never let this go. This is actual fucking domestic abuse. (Word limit TBC.) 3 / ? -🤠

A/N: yeah her hitting him "bc she was drunk" was never a good excuse not only for the reasons you mentioned but, also bc let's be real at no point are you ever going to get served enough alcohol on a plane to make you that drunk i don't care what anyone says. also when it comes to the excuse of him "breaking her ribs" does she forget that andy actually did break his ribs a while ago? i think she even visited him when he was recovering so she should know what kind of pain he was in. & if he actually broke her ribs, there's no way she would have even been able to stand bc i know andy sure wasn't able to. he said it was one of the most painful things he's experienced. (i don't think i need to comment on the rest of this. it would just be redundant. you hit the nail on the head with that.)

🤠 I don’t care if it happened just that one time ore more likely is an everyday occurrence. Abuse is abuse and should never be tolerated. Kind of getting away from the plane thing. Andy always seems, as it’s been said on here before, afraid to mess up. Like he might mess up, and make her mad. A common behavioral pattern in abuse victims. He also at this point and for a decent amount of time before, doesn’t seem like he loves her anymore. Like he keeps up appearances and pretends, but it’s like it’s a job he’s forced to do. He’s tired and burnt out but was probably manipulated into staying and juliet is probably clinging for dear life. Also I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks this, but I swear, the veganism and sobering up was just a cover up, most likely formed by either Juliet herself or her fucked up family, after the plane incident to hide their tracks and regain some public favor (because you know, if you advocate for animal rights then you can’t abuse your husband 🙃) Andy never gave a shit before though. Even though it was unhealthy he loved to drink and smoke and was very outspoken about that. And he used to never give a fuck about eating meat or consuming animal products like leather. I mean they’re still selling leather goods ffs. I would get having minor fuck ups because you don’t know any better, but it’s fucking leather. And now Andy is unhealthy and miserable as ever, but the culprit is malnourishment and Juliet rather than cigs, alcohol, and Juliet. My final thoughts: I do definitely believe in the Scientology theory, but if not that than I definitely believe that Andy was and is being manipulated for his fame. On several occasions it really looked like they broke up, including the time when they did, and then said it was a joke. It really doesn’t feel normal. Also, Juliet doesn’t really care about Andy that much. She never wears her wedding ring, she sells all their shit, including sentimental items, and now that she’s gained more popularity from being with him, suddenly doesn’t want to put him in her bio or write him the same creepy ass paragraphs or anything. It’s fucked up how shes so keen to say she did it all herself when really she’s been riding dick for fame since before she even met Andy. It also always kinda seemed to me that Amy was kind of uncomfortable around Juliet. We all know that Chris loves to kiss her ass night and day (most likely to do with the Scientology thing “if” it’s true), but Juliet and Amy always seemed to have a weird relationship like it was tense and forced. Also I just want to mention the time that Juliet talked about screaming at the woman over what I believe was a game night and brushed it off as being competitive and no one gave damn. Fucked up. To finish off this already way too long little series, I think Andy is a very vulnerable insecure person who got manipulated by several people (not just Juliet) some of whom he probably really trusted, and they helped to get him in Juliet’s (equally if not more insecure) hands so she could hurt him as she pleases. I truly hope that even now both he, and his parents (even though Chris really grinds my gears) can get out of this whole shit show, relatively unscathed. I know this is probably pretty unlikely, but hope springs eternal I guess. As I said feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will try to answer them best I can. I'm gonna ramble about my characters for a bit because I love them and I'd die for them and y'all can just ignore this if you want but I want to talk so y'all are going to get at least five character breakdowns so strap in if you're reading this, scroll past ig if you're not.

This is 3th 3l, or Ethel, a third generation Android built for some long forgotten war that has since faded into irrelevancy, as wars fought mainly amongst luxatroci are want to do. It used it/its for quite a few years after it was found, decaying and basically dead in the woods, but also uses she/her.

It has replaced the fake skin over its right eye, as the plating wasn't too damaged, but it's the wrong shade and it has a weird seam. It's missing an arm— she has it, it just didn't work so she removed it— and her voice box doesn't work half the time, and sometimes she gets overwhelmed with sensory input and shuts down for a while.

It doesn't remember anything and its main goal is to figure out its past, because it can't live with a mystery, so it goes to a magical college to track down someone who knew it. This, of course, doesn't work, because the person who conceivably knew her is old as shit and really rude.

It's her. General Iraraziel. She's a luxatroci. Often called heralds of death, war angels, abominations, any number of names, luxatroci are soul conglomerates and secondary afterlives. They are immortal if they take lives, consuming the energy left behind after death— and also the soul.

Ira is Very Old, about two millennia, and almost all of that was spent in some unending war or another. at the moment she's a security guard at a prestigious university for a really important political figure, though, because in between wars she takes just about any violent job she can get— mercenary, gladiator, assassin, bodyguard, ect.

She's doing her best and her best isn't great but it's something. Her long-time partner, Cassiel, wants to get married, Ira has commitment issues, and their other partner, Mai, tends to mess up a lot and it makes their relationship tense at times, but they really do all love each other.

Yes those are all eyes. Yes she sees out of all of them.

Ethel's best friend, Julien, is a werewolf who quite literally can't die. He was the one who found her, and he has healing magic so strong he's gotten hit by a train and walked it off. He's young and vibing, but to heal, his magic condenses the pain the wound would cause to heal naturally and condenses it to anywhere from thirty seconds to ten minutes. The only limit is that it can't bring someone back from the dead and it can't regrow limbs. He knows this because he cut off his own toe.

His pain tolerance is insane, and he really wants to help others, so he's becoming a doctor, but healing strains him a lot and he has pretty bad chronic pain. He's also really awkward, tends to come off kind of annoying, and has about half a social skill.

He's kind of a disaster but he's a very endearing one. And yes his ears are like that on purpose, he thinks they look cool.

And finally for tonight's episode of mic rambles about their characters, Lucifer "Lucy" Morgenstern (I was eleven when I named him cut me some slack here), the oldest Morgenstern, and he's been doing his best.

He grew up in an out of control magic ward, because nobody was quite sure what he was or where he came from, and he's been the oldest forever, so he took on the role of being the adult here, even at five years old.

He's 20 now and his siblings resent him for his parenting skills— he's only three years older than the younger one and a year older than the older one— and he's doing his best to exist as a person outside of caring for people, but he's not very good at that.

His siblings both hate him because one views him as stifling and the other as uncaring but he was trying to juggle his own everything with theirs and one of them was far more outwardly destructive than the other, though he tried to give them equal attention, while also caring for the other kids in the ward.

Lucy is having a time as an adult honestly.

Also he's Julien's boyfriend.

Seriously, What the Fuck Did I Just Watch? - Emily in Paris, Episode 8 Recap

I literally cannot believe everything that happens in this episode happens. I honestly may not be able to even write this blog; that's how insane it all was. The episode begins with Emily leaving her apartment at the same time that Gabriel and Camille are leaving theirs, but Emily hides to avoid running into them, meaning we don't get to start our drinking game just yet. Camille then texts her asking if they can meet for lunch and talk about "something important."

At breakfast with Mindy, Emily is sure Camille knows that she and Gabriel kissed (for the second time). Mindy gives Emily some pretty good advice, "just don't kiss Gabriel," but Emily insists that "it's not that easy." It literally is, though? Like, just don't put your lips on his? It's really not that hard? You see tons of other people every day, and you don't kiss any of them, right? Or is Emily just going around and kissing literally every person she sees? I highly doubt it. The conversation moves on to Mindy, who has friends from her old life in China visiting because one of them, Li, is getting married. Mindy is nervous about seeing them again because they don't know that she's a nanny now.

For lunch (did she go to work at all or just out to eat?), she meets Camille at a sushi restaurant, clearly following Mindy's advice to avoid anywhere with steak knives. It turns out that Camille doesn't know about her kiss(es) with Gabriel and just wants Savoir to represent her family's champagne company. Emily says she will pitch it to her coworkers, and Camille invites her to her family's chateau for the weekend to learn more about the company. Gabriel will not be coming because he has to work and is still upset with Camille for asking her mother for a loan to help him buy the restaurant.

When she finally does go to the office, her coworkers are not very interested in the champagne company since it's so small. They then begin to roast Emily about the love triangle she's in with Gabriel and Camille. Without Sylvie, Luc, and Julien, this show would be completely unwatchable.

In the morning, while loading her belongings into Camille's tiny car, Gabriel shows up, and it's revealed that he is coming because he got the weekend off work. Emily is less than happy since she is still trying to avoid him. In addition, due to their bags, the three of them all have to squeeze in the front row, making Emily sit on Gabriel's lap. As they're driving, Camille asks, "everyone okay?" in a weirdly suggestive manner, and I again have to wonder if there's going to be a threesome at some point. It almost feels inevitable. But then, Camille also says she wants to set Emily up with her brother, so who knows.

At the "chateau", Emily meets Camille's mother, Louise, who is extremely cold to her and speaks French despite being fluent in English, and Camille's father, Gerard, who is naked by the pool, his genitalia covered by a very well placed champagne bottle. Louise sends Gabriel to the market, and he tries to get Emily to join him on the bike ride. Emily says no, as a bike ride on the French countryside to a farmer's market is way too romantic to do with someone who you are trying to avoid kissing, and then Emily and Gabriel get into a fight on whether they can be friends, Gabriel saying it's no big deal and Emily insisting it's best if they keep their distance.

Emily decides to go on a tour of the winery instead, where she chugs champagne like it's a natty light and she's an 18-year-old named Brad pledging Kappa Sig. She hits it off with the hot tour guide and discovers that he is Camille's brother, Timothée. Every Timothée is hot; this is only the second I've ever seen, but my point still stands. I also must point out how much he looks like Gabriel. But they're from France, not Alabama, so I won't say what I am thinking.

Gabriel cooks dinner for the group, and I have to say that making your girlfriend's chef boyfriend cook you dinner, in your home, on his weekend off, is rude. Let the boy have one night where he's not working. Gerard makes a lot of uncomfortable comments about the taste of Gabriel's coq and eggplant, and Louise lectures Emily that women aren't supposed to touch the champagne bottle at the dinner table, and you shouldn't talk business there either. Then Camille's parents start telling Gabriel that he should accept the money they've offered him, and it gets even more awkward than when Gerard was implying he sucked off his daughter's boyfriend. Emily posts a photo of her and Camille to Instagram, and we learn that her account has grown to 21.7k followers, which is only a 1.6k increase in 3 episodes, so it seems her meteoric rise is beginning to fizzle out.

Mindy texts Emily that they look very "cozy" and then tells her to check out her friend's livestream because she's about to surprise the rest of the bachelorette party. We then cut to Mindy in a jazz club with her friends, who announce that they're there so she can sing again. They reveal that they know that she's a nanny and don't care; they just don't understand why she's given up on her dream of being a singer. They finally convince her to get on stage. She insists she can't and tries to give the microphone back to the MC, but when he tells her no, she starts belting immediately.

Emily watches through her phone, and when the livestream ends, she can hear through the wall that Camille and Louise are fighting in French over the loan to Gabriel. To get away from it, she goes outside to sit by the pool. Timothée comes out to join her with a bottle of champagne. They have a heart to heart, and Emily says she left the US because "there were no decisions left to make, not even wrong ones."

Just when I was thinking this show is actually pretty good, the craziest thing that's ever occurred in the history of television happened. Emily asks Timothée about the difference between a Champagne flute and a coupe glass, and he tells her the coupe was designed using the shape of Marie Antoinette's breasts. Emily then takes the coupe glass and puts it up to her own boob. Timothée, without moving any closer or saying even a single word, reaches out and grabs Emily's other boob. Emily then guides his second hand to her tit that originally had the glassware on it. Seriously. This happened:

There's then a jump cut to Emily and Timothée having sex, and Timothée is bad at it. I mean, rapid jackhammering and weirdly intense concentration bad. Emily actually tells him to stop and repeats his own advice about drinking champagne back to him, "slow down. You're supposed to savor it." I threw up a little in my mouth.

The next morning, Emily wakes up with a hickey and then joins Camille's family for breakfast. There is a new man there, and Camille introduces him as the brother she wanted Emily to meet. Confused, Emily asks about Timothée, and Camille says Timothée is her younger brother and is 17. Just then, Timothée joins them, kissing Emily and apologizing for her hickey before sitting down. Everyone at the table realizes what happened, and Gabriel has to get up and leave to keep from laughing. Emily repeatedly insists she "didn't know," but I'm not sure how well that would hold up in a court of law. (For those curious, as I was, France currently does not have an age of consent but has a bill waiting to be passed that would set it at 15.)

Louise asks Emily to speak privately in her office. Emily immediately begins to apologize profusely, thinking Louise is going to yell at her over the whole accidental-statutory-rape thing, but Louise says she "doesn't care about all that" and just asks if her son is a good lover. I think Emily's face says it all:

Emily lies to Louise and says Timothée was sweet and gentle. She then uses the opportunity of having Louise alone to finally talk business since Louise had been dodging her all weekend. Emily comes up with an idea to get rid of their excess inventory, based on an Instagram that Mindy posted of her friends spraying a bottle of champagne over themselves in a club. She pitches the idea of "a bottle to sip, a bottle to spray," and says their champagne could be "the official 'spray' of Paris." I have to say; this is actually genius. Maybe Emily isn't completely terrible at marketing after all? Louise is worried about the legacy of her family's company since it's a little tacky of a pitch, so Emily proposes they create a second label and name it after Louise's husband's nickname, "Champére". Louise agrees, and the episode ends with Gabriel, Camille, and Emily piling into Camille's car to head back to Paris and Gabriel mocking Emily for being a cougar.

What was Tabris’ relationship with their family like? (Cyrion, Adaia, Shianni, Soris…)

Julien confides in his father. He loves the man, and he respects him even more. As Adaia died when Julien was rather young, Cyrion had to raise him throughout his early teens all the way up until the events of the game happen. He knows how hard his mother’s death impacted his father and he appreciates the fact that Cyrion did his best to stay strong and raise him in a loving, stable home. There was a solid week after Adaia’s death where Julien all but refused to get out of bed and Cyrion was there to take care of him, whether that meant getting him some soup or just being close enough to be a comforting presence. Although Julien isn’t as talkative as his father is, you can clearly see his father’s influence when he chooses to say a word or two. As you may be able to tell, he was very, very pissed off upon seeing that a bunch of slavers caught his father.

As mentioned before, Adaia passed away when Julien was a child. He still remembers her, of course. Sometimes he misses the way that she would give him a cup of honeyed milk before sending him off to bed. She was in charge of making him laugh and drilled the fact that he doesn’t need to take anybody’s bullshit into his head. He is also grateful that she decided to train him to be a rogue--it’s not easy being an elf after all, and he needs a way to defend himself. He hopes that he’s making her proud, wherever she is.

He sees Shianni and Soris as his siblings. Though, there are times where he finds Shianni to be irritating and Soris to be sorely lacking a spine. Still, he admires Shianni for being headstrong and appreciates Soris for standing behind him in almost anything he does.

He loves his family. He would do anything to keep them safe.

How did Tabris handle being told of their arranged marriage?

He wasn’t... the most excited about it. He would much rather find and marry someone that he loves (yes, he’s a secret romantic, sue him), but he knows that it is his duty. Any negativity was kept to himself; there’s no reason for him to put up a fight and throw a tantrum after everything that his father has done for him. Plus, he knows that this marriage is particularly favorable for him.

How did Tabris react to meeting their betrothed?

Nervous, as anyone would be. He’s proud of his calm demeanor and tempered nerves, but he’s sure that even the steeliest of warriors would falter upon meeting their supposed wife, especially if they didn’t know much about her. He’s naturally quite quiet, so he had to make an effort to talk to Nesiara lest she think that he’s rude and uppity.

Did Tabris have any knowledge or ideas about the Dalish? Did they believe they were real, or a myth?

When he was younger, Cyrion would regale him with tales about elves who would live happily away from humans, not having to deal with the rampant racism and abuse that they suffer in the city. He would tell him that they kept to the old ways, that they were the last remainders of what the elves used to proudly be.

Julien had... conflicting opinions about this. For one, he can’t really imagine that there are elves out there that haven’t been called “rabbit”--or worse--brazenly to their face. For another, that means that there are others that haven’t been through what they have. There are children whose mothers weren’t taken from them because human guards decided to be extra loose with their swords that day. He hopes that there are other elves free from the pain that they experience, but he doesn’t think that there are.

(And then he meets Zathrian and his clan and he’s like “...I guess father was right.” However, he also finds that what his father has told him isn’t true. There’s still pain there. Hell, the entire thing that they’re dealing with is due to lingering pain. They are still elves, after all.)

Did Tabris stop to talk with the children playing? If so, how did they handle the children saying they didn’t know any elven heroes?

He did. He’s quiet, but that doesn’t mean he’s not sociable. Plus, his father taught him it was only good manners to talk to the others around the Alienage.

When they told him that, he tried to scrape his mind to think of any elven heroes so that he could prove to them that they exist, but... yeah. He couldn’t help but wonder if there were any elven heroes that were struck from history because of a couple of irate humans.

After slaying the Archdemon and becoming the Hero of Ferelden, he hopes that he’s given all of the children in the all the Alienages around Thedas someone to relate to--someone that they could play on the streets.

How did Tabris respond to Vaughn harassing the elven women? To he and his men crashing the wedding?

Oh, he wasn’t happy at all. He has his mother’s fire in him. Even if Soris told him to step down, that it wouldn’t be worth it to step up to Vaughn considering that he’s both a human and a noble, he couldn’t let it be. He wasn’t afraid of getting in Vaughn’s face despite being a whole head shorter. All he felt was the blood boiling in his veins.

‘Course, he was knocked out for all his troubles. Things never go as planned.

(He did respond favorably to Shianni knocking Vaughn out at first, too lol. But he was worried for her as he knew that Vaughn would more than likely retaliate.)

If Tabris was kidnapped, what was their plan before Soris showed up? If Tabris launched a rescue mission, what was their motivation to do so like?

His motivation was to get the women back first and foremost. He knows that it’s too much to ask for them to not have been hurt by the time he gets there, so the second part of his motivation was to inflict some pain on Vaughn as revenge. He also thought that it’s what his mother would want him to do.

Did Tabris kill Vaughn or accept his money? Why?

Killed him. Didn’t even hesitate. He knows that Vaughn has done this kind of stuff before as Valendrian told him before he went off to save Shianni and the rest. It’s revenge for everyone that Vaughn has ever hurt as far as Julien is concerned. Hell, even if Vaughn hasn’t hurt anyone before, he still would’ve killed him. Anything for his people. Anything for his family.

What was growing up in the Alienage like for Tabris? How did they feel about having to leave?

It was... complicated. There are times where he’s dreamed of running away and becoming a famous adventurer (childhood dreams, right?), and there are times where he couldn’t even think about living anywhere else.

They were poor. His closet was mostly composed of things that his father used to wear when he was Julien’s age. Sometimes his parents would forego eating their own dinner just to make sure that he had enough to eat. For a few years, his blanket was nothing more than a thin piece of cloth that was frayed at the edges.

And he hated that people saw them as second-rate citizens at best. Sure, there may be some good humans out there (he remembers his mother talking about one with red hair that saved her from a dungeon once), but so many others were just... they were terrible to him and his people. Every disparaging word you could use against an elf? He’s heard them all. He’s had them yelled at him. He’s had them whispered as he walked by.

At the same time, though, the Alienage had this sense of community that Julien is glad for. They all shared in their struggles. They all went through the same things. They were a close-knit bunch. He could remember a couple of his father’s friends scrounging up what money they could spare to buy him a cupcake for his 16th birthday. He could remember another child sharing their toys with him when they saw that he accidentally broke one of his own while playing around the vhenadahl.

Going away... he felt glad that he could climb out of poverty, that he could be at least mildly respected as a Grey Warden, but he didn’t want to leave his people behind. He didn’t want to leave Shianni--he’d miss her waking him up with a cup of cold water to the face. He didn’t want to leave Soris--who else was going to teach the guy how to properly swing a sword? He didn’t want to leave his father--Julien worries for his health.

But he couldn’t exactly stay, could he?

How did Tabris feel about returning to the alienage, and finding slavery?

Gossip Girl Reboot 2x10

OMG every episodes became more and more nonsense. In a way, I’m very glad that the show is cancelled, at least it couldn’t be worse at this point.

Finally, Audrey looks for the first time great (cloths, make-up and hair) in Rome at the end of the episode.

The only thing I will miss is Audrey, Aki and Max (apparently they were supposed to be end game...)

And good for Luna!

So out of boredom and for @sunset-and-periwinkle I decided to go into more (ish) details on how the other Operators in Rainbow feel about Tachanka and Skylar’s relationship. And after a little thought I realized their relationship could cause some controversy for some people within Rainbow because of the 26 year age difference. I will be doing it by the CTUs and most of them didn’t really care so some won’t have a big answer to them

FBI:

Ash - She’s happy for Skylar and happy that she found someone who cares for her as much as Tachanka does. She’s one of Ash’s closest friends in Rainbow and she wishes her the best.

Thermite - He low-key doesn’t like it. Skylar is like a little sister to him and he doesn’t want to see her heart broken in the long run. But at the end of the day he knows she’s an adult and can make her own decisions, and if Tachanka makes her this happy, than he can deal with it.

Pulse - Jack was quite happy for Skylar and didn’t hesitate on supporting her relationship with Tachanka because she did with his relationship with Hibana.

Castle - He’s happy for them both and wishes them all the best. Miles knows in this line of work, life can get cut short, so why not make the best of it.

Spetsnaz:

Glaz - He’s happy for them, and wishes them the best. But he was kinda shocked Tachanka actually liked Skylar as much as he did. He never saw his fellow comrade so...in love before. It was interesting and nice to see. And Skylar? Well she fit right in.

Kapkan - Maxim was happy for them, because they’re both his friends and he thinks all his friends deserve happiness. But at the same time he was a little weary of the relationship. The age cap and different backgrounds could cause issues, but he’s happy to say he was wrong.

Fuze - He’s happy for them, but also doesn’t care. Their relationship is their relationship, leave him alone to work on his cluster charges.

SAS:

Thatcher - He found out when it was a rumor going around the base. He didn’t think much of it, as long as it wasn’t affecting how they worked than Skylar could date whoever the hell she wants.

Sledge - He was a tad shocked at first because he never saw Skylar falling for someone like Tachanka. If anything he expected her to date Blitz at some point. Either way he’s neutral on the relationship, they’re both mature adults and can date who they want.

Smoke - Made a joke that he figured Skylar was into older men and asked how good the sex is. Other than that, he’s fine with the relationship.

Mute - Mark doesn’t really care because it’s none of his business and he has more important things to worry about. But he does think Skylar could do better.

GIGN:

Montagne - Doesn’t really have an opinion on their relationship.

Twitch - She doesn’t understand why Skylar, the youngest person in Rainbow went for one of the oldest members and not someone more around her age, like Rook or even Glaz. Either way she doesn’t think it’s any of her business.

Rook - Julien wonders why the youngest in the team went for one of the oldest and what did Tachanka say or do to persuade her to date him. Even though he’s not that close with Skylar as he would like, being only a few years older than her, he can’t help but feel somewhat happy that she’s happy. Something he hasn’t really seen.

Doc - Also doesn’t really care about the relationship, he has enough on his plate being the head medic.

GSG-9:

IQ - She’s not really close to either of them to feel like she should have an opinion on what they do with their lives.

Blitz - He found out way before (almost) anyone else did when he walked in on them kissing in the hallway before Skylar had to leave for a mission. He’s happy for them and thinks she deserves all the happiness in the world.

Bandit - Doesn’t have an opinion, but wishes them the best.

Jager - All he said on the topic was “huh, okay” and continued on about his day.

JTF2:

Buck - He may not get along with the Russians but he does get along with Skylar and he may think she could do better, he would never admit it to her.

Frost - She’s wary of the relationship. She knows how reckless the Russians can be and she doesn’t want Skylar to fall down a hole she can’t get out of. Also the age difference kinda rubs her the wrong way.

SEALs:

Blackbeard - A little shocked at first, never expected Skylar and Tachanka to get together. Shrugged his shoulders and continued on with his life.

Valkyrie - She doesn’t really care.

BOPE:

Capitao - Doesn’t have an opinion.

Caveira - Doesn’t have an opinion.

SAT:

Hibana - She’s happy for them. Hibana is pretty close to Skylar and it’s only fair to be just as happy for her and she is for her and Pulse.

Echo - He doesn’t care, like at all.

GEO:

Jackal - He has enough problems of his own to deal with than worry about whose dating who.

Mira - She’s pretty close to the both (more so Skylar) of them and was pretty ecstatic when they got together. Elena thinks they go well together and that she wishes them a long happy life together.

SDU:

Ying - She doesn’t like it, then again she’s not very fond of the Russians and she thinks Skylar can do a whole lot better. There are so many other, sweet, kind and considerate people in Rainbow that she could date.

Lesion - He doesn’t have an opinion, if the relationship lasts, it lasts. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.

GROM:

Zofia - She’s not as close with Sky as her sister is, so her opinion would be unwarranted and she has her own problems to worry about, not two specialists she works with.

Ela - She joked that she knew Skylar was into older men. She’s happy that Sky found someone who makes her happy. Ela will also be the first person to tell people off if they don’t like their relationship.

SMB:

Dokkaebi - She doesn’t care but at the same time wants to know everything. Grace will never ask though and try to learn from other people around base who are more close with them.

Vigil - Could care less. And isn’t close to either of them to really care or have an opinion over the matter.

CBRN:

Lion - He’s close with Skylar, almost as close as he’s with Montagne. Olivier made enough mistakes in his life and doesn’t want Skylar to anything she’ll regret. So he told her that even if people don’t like their relationship it shouldn’t deter her away from it.

Finka - She hates it. Her and Skylar don’t get along at all and for her to come along and date (eventually marry) one of her comrades boils her blood. It also doesn’t help that Tachanka, someone she used to flirt with on occasion will now call her out in a heartbeat for even mentioning Skylar’s name in a tone he doesn’t like. Lera learned very quickly that Tachanka was very protective over her and that put a rift in their relationship. Skylar said good riddance.

GIS:

Maestro - He’s pretty neutral on it.

Alibi - I honestly don’t know how Aria would react to it. Maybe she just wouldn’t care.

GSTUR:

Maverick - Doesn’t really care.

Clash - Also doesn’t really care.

GIGR:

Nomad - She’s not on base enough to really care whose dating who.

Kaid - Doesn’t think it’s his business and as long as it’s not interfering with their work, than he doesn’t see it as a problem.

SASR:

Gridlock - When she first met Skylar and Tachanka, she thought they were pretty opposite, but in a good way. He’s boisterous, she’s a bit more reserved, nothing that could really end a relationship. But what really caught her eyes was how well they worked as a team, both as a couple and on missions. Only so many can be that close both on and off the field and that made her quite fond of their relationship.

Mozzie - Max didn’t really care because when he joined they’ve already been together for a while and knew neither of them. But as they grew closer over the months he couldn’t help but feel fond over their relationship, because it felt so much like his with his wife.

JGK:

Nokk - She doesn’t really care because when she joined they were already together.

USSS:

Warden - Even though he’s considered a ‘ladies man’ when he found out about Skylar and Tachanka it rubbed him the wrong way. Hypocritical? Maybe.

APCA:

Amaru - She didn’t expect it at first, it was kinda like those couples who seem so different but at the same time work really well together? Yeah it was kinda like that. But once she got to know them she understood.

FES:

Goyo - Same thing as Amaru.

NITEHAV:

Kali - She doesn’t like it, then again she doesn’t like either of them anyways. Before they were pretty neutral and could work okay together but then Kali pushed Skylar too far and an altercation happened that made Tachanka completely bitch her out. Since then, nope they became ‘enemies’.

Wamai - He really just doesn’t care. No opinion what-so-ever.

It’s very late at night and I know, I should be resting-I’m having a small bout of insomnia lately, and I’ll go to sleep soon. It’s 4:39am and I’ve been...thinking a lot lately about community and fandoms, supporting writers and artists.

I’ve been posting new works and editing old ones (my old formatting was a blocky mess, apologies for that.) and yes, while editing has taken partial priority over new works (I feel compelled to fix things now that I’ve learned better formatting) it’s been making me think back to the way my writing used to be and how friends and other things can help us learn and grow as people and as creators. They help you on your way, no matter if you write and do art as a hobby, or you plan on working your way up to be a professional creator someday. (Storyboard artist, animator, author, script writer, etc)

These people help us grow and shape ourselves, while still helping us retain our individuality. They help us learn new techniques or help us learn what helped them learn in order to help US. So we aren’t left searching for some source of assistance that isn’t readily available.

Learning can be a long, arduous process that puts stress on us, but having friends and other resources can immensely help along the way. (Especially friends for helping pull us out of deep pits we find ourselves in for one reason or another, or art or writers block.)

I know this sounds deeply sentimental and very...not what I usually post, but lately I’ve been looking back on where I used to be before I met my current friend circle and came to tumblr.

I had fallen out of love with writing back then and truly believed my own ideas to be worthless, and I was sinking again.

Meeting my friends and being on tumblr (I had actually never been on this website before) was one of the BEST things to ever happen to me. I had some fear at first, as one can have when exposing their ideas to the masses, yet...something inside urged me to stay. Perhaps a speck of the writer I had been before I lost the spark.

I’m glad I stayed.

I met people in a fandom I was only a couple years into (Ninjago started in 2011 and my well meaning friend introduced me to the series in 2015 with the episode ‘The Titanium Ninja’.) And though I was slightly afraid, I showed them my oc. I described her as best I could (past....issues with a parent I no longer associate with left me with nerve damage so bad my wrist aches when I brush my teeth, so I had difficulty even holding a pen to attempt to produce art of her.) She quickly became loved, and involved in a world I will always be grateful for, and part of so many projects and aus and other things I have lost count of. I love them. They are my friends and they helped drag me out of a chasm I feared I would never climb out of to see the sun again.

My love of writing surged and I quickly began to adapt to storytelling once more. Ideas come rapid fire now, new ocs and other characters form from inspiration strong enough to knock me down.

I will admit, I do get overwhelmed with my own projects sometimes, but I tend to have a problem with pacing myself, and I’m working on that.

These people have sent a surge of inspiration and friendship so strong that even my husband was surprised, (he was around for the fall, we met in 2012 and were married by 2014, so he witnessed me fall out of writing, but he understood and helped me work through it as well, so I am just as grateful for him.) This inspiration is infectious, to the point where he’s considering asking for my help with a writing project he abandoned years ago because he thought it wasn’t good enough.

Take the time today to thank those who have helped you grow. (If you can.)

Remember and look back on the creator you were, think about how far you’ve come.
