Eret tweeted on the day of the lore that "I would never have betrayed someone who trusted me" or something meaning that cEret didn't GIVE Michael_B to cSam he was taken. But like. Day four of fixing the chicken run fence (which is why I haven't been posting anything. I'm the only one who can actually do anything while my mom just sits and watches my chicks.)

Just a note: Hitting your head on the corner of a metal roof hurts like absolute hell and I'm surprised I didn't bleed because I'd hit it when I stood up directly under the corner

But anyway, metal posts you need a driver for and then you need to make sure there's no rocks under where you're driving. You'll know if there's a big rock because you will feel the vibrations in the ground. Drivers are pretty heavy

Chicken wire can scratch you at the ends. But it'll also hurt when you tension the wire, and its unwieldy to do with work gloves. You want to pull on the wire and make sure its nice and tight before you hook it to the posts (Comparatively, you usually need a tractor and a tensioning bar, or another person who wouldn't mind possibly face planting and one of those is much more effective)

For chickens, you want to bury the wire, usually to keep predators from digging in, but in our case to keep the chicks in the run. For bigger animals this step isn't needed, but with sheep you usually want a strand of barbed wire at the bottom, and with cows you want one at the top

And fun fact: Cows can jump fences
