Mmm... both are part of modern AUs that could coexist, albeit with different YN. In both universes, robots are naturalized, although in Gamma Code, their intelligence or emotions are not fully recognized. That's because it would be set in a time-space a bit further back than Skatepark!AU, just before robots were free

Anyway, yes, I think both universes could exist at the same time :)

ok. listen. the last thing i need rn is more projects. but: phone tree you need to navigate through, in the shape of a maze, with dead ends and turnarounds. audio clips for each and a menu with numbers for which path to take. but as you move, an invisible minotaur is also moving through the maze. as it gets closer, the audio clips start to pick up noise and distortion. the end goal is to speak to a real person, but dont let the minotaur get you!!

The stripes in the photos are from fairly light hits with it. They don't bruise at this stage but they stripe really pretty for about 10 minutes. It stings a whooole lot, theres this hot burning welt that springs up immediately after. Like a cane but deeper because it is less flexible. A great way to elicit lots of short little yelps from a pet. It's short and great as a single tool to use during training. We think if someone strong hit us full force it'd absolutely deliver cane shaped bruises and welts. But currently we don't have anyone very strong near us to hit us :(

This implement is made of a high density delrin roundstock, is between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch thick, and 18 inches long. It used to be sold under the model name ever ready by caneiac but is discontinued now I believe. You can make your own by sanding the edge of the cuts on a piece of delrin roundstock and wrapping the grip in bicycle handlebar tape.

"its free if i get to spend the rest of the day here. with you." she finally broke the silence and kerry smiled but before he could reply he was cut off "and i get to use your pool. naked." "no, absolutely fuckin not." he finally looked at her again and she also lowered her gaze to him, trying to give him the puppy eyes but it never worked for her - she didnt have the right eyes for it, or mouth, or general face. I know I may be the only one in these thousands of notes saying this, but I think we need to be real careful about getting emotionally attached to these anthropomorphic robots.

Thinking critically beyond the movie plot itself, is there a benefit for big Hollywood studios to selling the idea that AI can be akin to humans? Who benefits from us getting accustomed to and even comfy with the thought that AI people can be like real people?

I just forsee the possibility of more foolishness like people who cry over the suggestion of taking a bat to a police robot, just because it is vaguely dog-shaped. It's a robot, and it was designed to hurt you and not care about your feelings. Your hesitancy to fight it gives it an advantage. Your empathy is being used against you.

I just...need people to think a bit bigger picture.
