Stop saying Tomura's entire character is because of afo's meddling. He literally managed to become someone despite that much interference. Despite being treated as a puppet he found allies he could trust. Despite it he truly loved them and fought tooth and nail for them. Tomura would flatten a mountain for spinner, he promised toga he'd protect what was dear to her, he took revenge for Magne and motivated Twice. He trusted all of them.
