Blurb: One where after a Saturday night out you and mason spent a Sunday morning together filled with love.

Warnings: None.

Small rays of light project down harshly through the tinted windows in the back of the black cab you were currently crammed in. The light loosely reflecting shapes onto the side of your face, highlighting your most prominent features.

The sounds of his small giggles into your neck were warming your heart as you placed your hand in the short length of his hair, the other caressing his back. However, one of his hands had reached around your stomach and settled around your hip as his lips were placing barley thare kisses to the crease of your collar bone.

The light tickling sensation mixed with the alcohol in your system meant you couldn't contain your fits of giggles as you threw your head back in the leather seat of the taxi.

Your giggles. Your smile. He loved that laugh.

Mason wanted to bathe in the sound of your giggles, he loves when he makes you laugh. That obnoxiously loud sounding laugh that you always apologize for. He loved it when you couldn't control it.

In attempts to meet his wishes his hand that was gently snaked around your hip to hold you down inched higher. To the point where it was resting right along your stomach and now around your torso.

It was almost like you knew his next move as your knees came up in the air, your hand fighting his fingertips away from your side. But mason had the upper hand as he leaned into the warmth of your body more, dragging his fingertips up the sensitive skin of your side. His heart panged out of his chest when your chest erupted with fits of giggles, your back arching slightly as you fought to throw his hands off you.

He fawned over the way his name gently dropped from your lips, begging him to stop through giggles.

Mason pulled his face away from the warm crook of your neck, placing his forehead on yours as he watched the street lamps illuminate all his favorite colors in your eyes.

He couldn't wipe away his smile as he gently leaned forward, placing a sloppy kiss to your upper lip. Quick gentle one, full of warmth and love. The love that he felt the need to give to you every time he saw that goddamn smile and heard that stupid giggle.

Mason's eyes shot up to look at the recognisable street that he called home. When he moved his gaze back down all he saw was your loving smile, he loved this kind of love.

Sure it looked new, it looked fresh, it was the honeymoon stage as most would say. But it had been a couple years since he had met you and Mason was one hundred percent that this stage would never end, he wouldn't let it.

He relished in the feeling of you bringing your hand up, carseing the small stubble on his cheek. Before leaning forward and pecking the tip of his nose. God he is so incredibly in love with you.

It was a cold saturday night, you had stepped out of the taxi onto the cold floor of masons drive way. You stared down at your bare toes on the dull gray concrete floor. Your arms sheltered from the cold breeze due to the warmth of your boyfriend's helpful jacket.

You watched as mason said thank you to the driver shutting the door with one hand, your heels in his other hand as he turned to smile at you just standing there. He couldn't stop himself from feeling giddy at the way you looked. His jacket was almost longer than your dress, your bare legs on show as well as your white painted toes. He admired your lopsided smile and clearly tired eyes. He smirked at the way your hair was messy and out of place only on the right side from where you had been resting your head on his shoulder in the taxi, and how your lipstick was smudged from all the secret sloppy kisses you had shared in the club.

He wrapped his arms around you from behind, his fingertips gently resting on your waist as you both walked over to his front door. You heels that he had been carrying all night still in his hands as he gently grazed your stomach.

When Mason opened the door he stood back, ushering for you to walk in first. You stumbled through the door, watching Mason lock it behind him. The last of the warm breeze blew through the door, swaying his blown hair in the way you loved the most.

When he turned around you could see him now in a better light than in the taxi or the club.

His hair was a mess, he stank of the tequila that you had both been drinking all night. HIs eyes were bloodshot from the hours they had been open. You smiled at how his top button was undone, exposing his upper chest slightly. But your favorite was the small smudge of red around his cheek, the first kiss you had placed on him that night, not wanting to ruin your lipstick on his lips so soon, so you planted a soft kiss to kiss cheek. Little did you know the red stain and faint outline of your lips had stayed on his cheeks all night.

“I think I need some water.” You blurted out, you were sure you were standing still but the ground underneath you was spinning.

Mason giggled as he took you hand in his, pulling you through to the kitchen, he grabbed one of his glasses from the cupboard, walking over to the fridge to fill it with some cold water.

You pulled his jacket off, placing it down on one of his bar stools before you somehow managed to jump up on to his kitchen counter, sitting there waiting for him to bring you your water.

You were watching your feet dangle over his lower cupboards before mason walked over, placing his hand over your thigh, separating your legs so he could stand in between them. He gently held the small of your back as he took his own sip of your water before passing it to you.

He smirked at your frown before you bought the glass up to your lips, your throat itching at the cold sensation. When the glass was almost empty mason walked back over to the fridge, filling the glass up once more.

“Go up to bed love, I'll be up in a second.” He whispers in the quietness in his house.

You can't help but think about how lonely it must be for him in this large house on his own. Especially compared to your small apartment in the heart of london.

You never felt lonely in your own company until you met him. You body aching to spend every waking moment with him.

You gently nod your head before standing on your tiptoes, placing a peck to his cheek, wisping away out of the kitchen and up the carpeted stairs to his bedroom.

You make your way to his bathroom, staring at your reflection for a moment, motifited. You looked awful with your smudged lipstick and messy hair.

You try to pull the draw out under the sink, the draw mason had confirmed was yours.

You pulled the handle again but the draw wouldn't budge. You huffed out a groan, one that could be heard from where Mason was standing on the steps of his stairs. A smile crawling on his lips as he knew straight away you were struggling to open the draw again.

He placed the two glasses of water down on each of his bedside tables before walking into his bathroom where he found you, sat on the lid of the toilet seat, a pout on your face as you had been unsuccessful in opening the stuff draw.

“Need some help?” He smirked, crossing his arms as he lent into the doorway of his bathroom.

Your silent glare was enough for Mason to know you did need his help, you were always too stubborn to ask.

He walked forward, bending down his knees, pulling the draw open with ease before he looked up at your annoyed face. He reached in the drawer, pulling out what he knew you were exactly looking for, you make up a remover and a few other bits for your skincare routine.

Your heart thumped as he pulled out every single product that he knew you needed. He stood up for a second, pulling you up by your hand, gently placing a hand under your thigh as he hoisted you up onto his bathroom counter.

He knew exactly what he was doing. He placed the micellar water onto the cotton pads, as one of his hands then came to the back of your neck as he placed it gently over your eyes. He was gentle with the wipe, making sure he had used enough water and had enough wipes to take your makeup off fully.

Your heart swelled as you watched the tip of his tongue dart out of his mouth in concentration. Your hands gently wrapped around his waist as he slotted himself further into your legs.

When he had taken all of your makeup off he grabbed a damp towel, wetting and drying your skin once more before pulling away and placing a simple kiss to your cheeks and forehead.

Mason then placed a small amount of your favorite night cream in his hands, gently spreading the moisturizer around your skin, tapping it in just like how he had watched you do in the mirror most nights.

And once he was sure you were ready for bed, he grabbed your hair brush from the draw, gently brushing the back of your hair. As you leant forward, placing your head on his shoulder. He hasn't quite mastered the art of tying your hair up yet, and if he was being truthful he didn't want to. He loved waking up in the morning to find your hair sprawled out on his pillow, it was a gentle reminder that you were real and you were his.

And last but not least he grabbed the two toothbrushes from his pot, the blue one that belonged to you and the red one that belonged to him. He placed a small amount of water and toothpaste on your rush for you before handing it to you. Watching as you turned around to see yourself in the mirror as you brushed your teeth.

When you and mason were both done he then grabbed you off the counter, carrying you into the bedroom and placed you down. You pulled your dress over over your head, parading around in your skimpy little lingerie set before grabbing one of your favorite shirts from his top drawer. A draw he had also designated to you.

On the left side of the draw was some of your stuff, the other side was masons stuff that you had claimed to be yours. All of your favorite hoodies and t-shirts of his.

You put the shirt over your head before borrowing a pair of his boxers and climbing into his bed.

Mason hadn't long joined you, laying on his back so you could place your head on his chest, listening to the fast pitter patter of his heart beat. His arm wrapped around your shoulder, gently grazing the naked skin on your arm. You legs hanging over him for more warmth as you also placed your hand under his shirt to feel the warmth of his skin.

“Thank you for a really lovely night, mase.” You whispered, tucking your face into him more.

Mase. He loved it when you called him mase.

He leant forward, placing a kiss to your head before he pushed his nose into the mess of your hair. “I had a really good night too, y/n/n.”

“Tired?” He asked you.

“Knackered.” You mumbled into the warmth of his chest.

Mason smiled as he wrapped his arms around you more. He loved it when you stayed the night, he loved falling asleep with you in his arms, then waking up in the middle of the night, nuzzling back into your body when his sleep had dragged him away, holding you all through to the morning.

“Tomorrow we can make breakfast together, then catch up on love island?” He mumbled, the sleep evident in his voice.

“I'd love to, baby.” You whisper before you fall into a calm slumber, wrapped up in the warm arms of your boyfriend.

You loved nothing more than a late Saturday night, full of drunken kisses and giggles, making it all the way through to a Sunday morning tired kind of love.

You woke up in the morning by the slight russaling of Mason's body, you inched closer to him, wrapping your hands around his torso, acting as the big spoon.

Mason moved his head slightly, turning back to look at you, your eyes were shut, your breathing was shallow, but he knew you were awake by the small smile that toyed on your lips.

“Morning.” He mumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

He rolled over in hopes to plant a kiss to your lips but you pulled back.

“No, I have morning breath.” You giggled, “I need a shower first, mase.”

Mason groaned out his nickname before he flopped his body on top of yours, his face finding its favorite place, in the crook of your neck.

“My head hurts.” You moaned out, wrapping your arms and legs around your boyfriend like a panda.

“Awe, my poor baby.” Mason moved up to look at you, “Don't worry I'll look after you.” He smiles, pulling you on top of him for another hug.

You both lay there for a moment, appreciating the fact you both have a day off and can spend the full day in each other's company.

After what felt like hours of cuddling you jumped up to get in the shower and mason said he would wait downstairs for you with a cup of tea. You shower off any trace of last night off of you, throwing your damp hair up in a bun and running back into his bedroom to steal one of his hoodies.

When you get to his staircase the smell of cooked food runs along your nostrils. And the sight you see when you get to the bottom was just hot.

Mason was standing over his stove, frying some eggs, his hair was still messy, his boxers were loosely hanging over his waist, his toned chest on show as he held out a metal spatula in his other hand.

You walk over to him, gently wrapping your hands around him from behind, placing a gentle kiss to his shoulder before leaning around him to see what he's cooking.

“Hey you.” You smile up at him once he turns around, placing the spatula on the end of the pan.

He doesn't reply, he just brings his hands down to meet yours, holding them tightly and bringing them up to wrap your arms around his shoulders as his fingers gently trace back down to your waist and back up to the small of your back, bringing you in for a tight hug.

He spins your slightly, leaning forward, mumbling the lyrics of the song that was faintly playing over the alexa he had put on. You knew straight away that the music was one of your playlists that he had chosen, and once again your heart beated out of your chest at the attentiveness of this man. He pulled you in then span you out, dancing with you to the faint sound of 60s love songs in his kitchen on a cold Sunday morning.

You giggle into his shoulder as he continues to hold you close, swaying with you for a couple more songs, trying to get you to laugh as much as he can.

God he loved that laugh.

“Mase.” You mumbled into his shoulder as you held him close.

“Mhm.” He mumbled into your hair, one of his hands held in your has you both continued to gently sway.

“Mason.” You push off of him, a smirk on your face as your mouth gapes open, you try to move your head around him but he stops you.

“What?” He furres his eyebrows at you, caught up in the moment.

“Is that burning smell your eggs?” You giggled, your lips pressing into a fine line as you tried to suppress your laughter.

Mason pulls away slightly, a confused look on his face, “My what- oh my god. My eggs!” He shouted, turning around to see his now burning eggs.

You can't help but giggle as you watch him scramble to move the pan off of the stove, giggling himself as he had just managed to save his eggs from burning.

“It's okay, it's okay. I saved them just in time.” He smiled at him, as he pretended to wipe the sweat off his forehead.

You lean into him once again, your arms around his torso as you lean up to give him a kiss, “You're cute.” You smile on his lips, pecking him a couple of times.

“I try to be.”

Mason forces you to go sit on the sofa and turn the tv on while he prepares some toast and avocado for you both, knowing it's your favorite.

When he finally joins you, you sit with your legs crossed on the sofa, a blanket over your legs and your plate resting on your knees as you and mason turn on some of the last few episodes of love island that you had both missed.

“I keep telling Woody he should go on this show.” Mason says with a mouthful of eggs, pointing at the tv.

You snort slightly at imagining your friend on the show, “We could totally look after his instagram for him.” You smirk.

“No, he would bottle it. He already shits himself around girls.” Mason laughs as he places both of your empty plates on the table in front of him, leaning in to cuddle you.

“He can't be that bad at talking to girls.” You smiled, watching as Mason laid his head down on your lap, closing his eyes for a moment as your hands found their way through his hair.

“Once me and Ben went through his instagram dms when he passed out drunk, y/n it was bad.” Mason said in a serious tone, you let out a little laugh and continued to watch the tv, your fingers gently tracing shapes around the back of his ear.

“You know I applied for love island a few years ago.” You smirk, you can't see his face but by the way you felt his eyelashes flutter on your leg you knew he was shocked at the new revelation.

“Wait, really? When?” Mason moves his neck around, looking up at you from his position in his lap.

“Yeah, back when the show first started to get popular. I think I applied for season four or five maybe.” You smiled down at him.

“You're having me on.” Mason smirked at you, he knew you were a bad liar.”

“What no, I'm telling the truth!” unfortunately your smile had given it away, as well as your ability to not be able to look into his eyes.

Mason let out a loud laugh before turning back to the tv.

“You know I totally believed you then for about thirty seconds.” He giggled at your little attempt to prank him.

You both cuddle up onto the sofa more, eventually the episode ends and you are all caught up. You take the dishes into the kitchen to be washed.

Mason follows you into the kitchen like a lost puppy, smiling sheepishly as he helps you place all of the bowls into the dishwasher.

He loved days like this, seeing you so comfortable in his house. It was days like today or when he had been away for a while and he came home late at night and you were already asleep in his bed, he wondered why you didn't live with him yet.

“Move in with me.” He blurted out, he couldn't stop himself, but now he had said it the fear of rejection was kicking in. He knew you hated how he left dirty glasses in his room, or how he would never wipe the floor when he got out of the shower. He was over thinking how you might actually hate how clingy he would be with you, or what if you couldn't agree what to watch on the tv.

“Okay.”

“Wait, really?” He watched as you closed the dishwasher, putting it on before you turned to stand in front of him where he was leaning on the wall.

“Was I supposed to say no?” You mocked his shocked attitude.

“No, no-”

“Mason, I would love to move in with you.” You smiled at him, wrapping your arms around him for what felt like the millionth time that day, but he didn't mind as he always managed to melt into your touch.

“But I'd like to decorate first.” You placed your chin on his chest looking up at his putty face as you just offended the decor of his home.

“A few plants, and I think my pillows would look really nice in the living room.”

He smiled as he thought about having your yellow plates in his kitchen cupboard, and your blankets over his bed. He just held you tighter to let you know he was okay with that, it would be both your home too.

“I'm not taking the model of stamford bridge on the coffee table though.” He smirked, knowing your thoughts on the small model placed in the middle of his front room.

"You just want me here so I can't do your dirty washing for you!" You joked at him, mason leaguing because he cant deny he has always been awful with the washing machine.

He couldn't wait to live with you. To live every single day like he did today. To wake up and make you breakfast, knowing you will always be here when he got home from away days, he couldn't wait, and neither could you.

Another Moth info post.

What got you into G/T? This info will date me. ./// . For me it was the book "Castle in the Attic" (with this cover)

Really only the first part. Where the tiny knight comes back to life. The last half is going into the knight's world and saving the kingdom. At the time I created my own "OC" knight named Erdrick (Yeah from Dragon Warrior... I was like... 7~8 at the time) Then there was the Nickleodeon shows like The Lil' Bits (A show about tiny elves/fairies/gnomes) that went and had adventures with their animal friends. I always wanted them to meet a human but they never did to my knowledge. IT WAS ALSO AN ANIME. (Mori no Youki na Kobitotachi: Berufi to Rirubitto [Little Pixies of the Forest: Belfie and Lilbit]) And thanks to Unico, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Little Prince, Noozles and Lil' Bits... it was my anime awakening. This was also done by Tasunoko Productions of Speed Racer, Gatchaman and SDF Macross <- (more later)

Around 1985~1990 on TV it was The Littles, which I was very opinionated about at the time as I like my tinies being fully human and not "With tails and buckteeth". Thanks children's media for maligning buckteeth to me. Seeing it now I've been told this was basically "OC Borrowers"

You can watch the show on Pluto TV now and there was 2 DVD re-releases. Today being an adult the teeth and tails don't bother me. Also Dinky is the best. From 1995~1999 was kind of a wasteland for me. I had to rely on my imagination! (Yes I know Robotech was a thing, but I didn't see it on TV). I didn't know what I was looking on the internet for so I wandered around for a bit. Everything I saw was aimed at men and was... kinda gross and a bit misogynistic. (Yeah I would have ~16 at this time)

Come 1999 I was told about Chiisana Kyojin Microman (Small Giant Microman). A show about 8cm tall super"humans" (They are really aliens) that save the world from evil tiny aliens. Lest to say I was sold for life! G/T content and IT'S ANIME!

This show was remake/reboot of the late 1970s~1980s toyline "Microman" that ALSO was the origin of Transformers! (People claim it was Diaclone and really Diaclone was dragged into the whole thing that was to be Transformers in the US) It was known as "Micronauts" in the US and THAT became something else in comicbooks. I'm not a comicbook fan. So I had to buy the toys and stuff and try to get any info about the show. They even had repros of the 70s stuff as well as a PSX game based on that. (The PSX game is alright.) Then the anime got a PSX game (Generation 2000) After the 1999 series died off (No thanks to bad marketing decisions) there was a re-reboot around 2003 that was aimed more for collectors and adults where they were no longer from space and were instead genetically engineered. It has some pretty men, but the story is kinda meh. However there are now Microwomen so I guess that's the trade off. Now it was after this point around 2005 where I was introduced to SDF Macross. SDF Macross of course has the opposite of Microman with giant aliens (That are trying to take back the SDF and conquer Earth)

Kamjin the really only hot Zentraedi from the series until Macross 7

So of course I watched it, however not really into SDF Macross and more into Macross 7 where they keep the Zentraedi and even have some G/T stuff with Mylene and Basara. Where the butchered Robotech just.. makes them all human as they had to cram 3 different series together. I don't really like Macross Frontier as it injected a "genetic problem" in the way of Klan Klan for Zentraedi where she's either a giant large breasted woman or pedophile pandering. (Of course it's only a woman we see this affect) They also kill my fave character. We do get Ai-kun which is the only good thing.

Macross Delta seems to have just.. gone away from the whole G/T completely and now panders to the idol otaku fully. And then the wasteland continued until really around now as again, looking up macro/micro would only bring up furry stuff (not really my thing) and GTS (GianTeSs?) was only for horny men and I couldn't find the GT stuff as again.... only stuff for men popped up.

So it's really cool that I tried again (on tumblr) and found stuff. Currently the only G/T anime I watch is Sugar Apple Fairy Tale that has the tiny fairies. Mythril Lid Pod is the best wingman.

And that's where I am today. Also finally indulging my fantasies and writing about them. I can do so many words!

Edit: Oh and I got into EDF (Earth Defense Force) after watching people play #5 and they had some giant aliens in it and OH the camera is so good at making your soldiers look tiny.

I'm new to your blog and would like to know your personal thoughts on ACOSF. When it first came out literally everyone on my Insta feed was raving about it and saying it was "Sjm's best book" but it's funny to me because now, the majority of readers think it was poorly written/developed.

ACOSF is very polarising, even to me, in my own head.

As someone who identifies with Nesta, I needed her journey and I wanted to walk it with her.

As someone who loves Cassian above all other characters, I needed him to be part of that journey as well.

ACOSF came out at a tough time in my life and every time Nesta climbed one step, I climbed with her. Every time she made it through some obstacle, I was there too. She gave her hand and pulled me through the crap that I was experiencing.

Viscerally, the book made a very strong impression on me, from a psychological standpoint. But that's my own personal head space. Perhaps I identified with Nesta just like SJM did, when she was in her own funk.

But it's a bad book. It's not well-written, underdeveloped, with a weak plot.

Do I think fondly of ACOSF and do I go back and reread some parts? Absolutely.

But the book is still probably one of the weakest ones that SJM produced. It felt like a collection of thoughts and ideas and lacked cohesion. It left too many loose ends. It left numerous things unexplained--like what's Power of Death?

But it also has some of the best scenes that SJM ever put out. Nesta and Cassian in Prison, meeting Lanthys, will always remain as one of my all time faves. The Solstice ball was a great scene.

But ACOSF followed ACOFAS, which remains probably my favourite SJM book. That much shorter book managed to cram a lot more important and interesting stuff than the behemoth that was ACOSF. So longer isn't always better.

What can I say? ACOSF is a bad book that is dear to my heart.

What you said about festivals is so true. They are super risky and super expensive. I looked into attending Hallyu in London when Chen was announced to be there but the 'cheap' seats were also 180 pounds with decent view ones even more expensive and alongside a flight to London and finding accomedations there it was just entirely too much money to just see this one guy for less than half an hour. Like I can somehow justify that for a full concert maybe (even though every non kpop concert I have ever been to was a lot cheaper than that!) but for a festival where he could drop out and then I would be stuck with all that money wasted and most likely no way to resell a ticket again. Nah I hate it I really do. Especially coming out of a pandemic where we still have idols catching covid and then having to cancel appearances can you imagine taking the whole risk of a festival only for your fave not to show up at all when it was already ridiculously overpriced for the amount of stage time they would be having? And you not being elligble for a refund when the festival still happens just without the reason why you wanted to go. Absolutely awful. Give us tours. If a tour gets postponed or cancelled cause the touring artist can't come i get my money back so I mind that way less. And if you have to give us tiny venues fine but then give us more than Paris London. Like Portugal or Poland exist too. We can't cram all of continental europe into one Paris venue if the Paris venue has a 6k capacity limit. The less stops you give the bigger the venues you should offer to accomedate for all the fans arriving from other countries who cannot afford to fly to Asia or America but will jump at the chance of seeing their faves somewhere that is more reachable and affordable for them to go to. I remember attending Music Bank in Berlin and it was packed with people even coming from the northern parts of Africa because EXO showing up in Berlin was the closest they had ever been to them at that point in time.

yeah, that’s pretty much it! like, i went to mik festival last year for junmyeon and pentagon, and i would have probably gone for either of those artists alone but was lucky enough that my two ults were part of the line up. the thing is, thought, billie was part of that line up as well and they had to cancel their appearance like A DAY PRIOR or something. it was so ridiculously short notice and i met people in the queue who were there to hand out billie freebies because they only came to see them. like, it’s just so crazy risky and it’s honestly the worst.

and like stated before, the matter of the fact is that kfans have WAY more leverage than european fans because what do they care if we don’t show up to one (1) festival? that will just show them that there is no demand and we won’t get anything anymore. while i do agree that we should be more organized, i think it would simply help more to directly message companies or in some other way to signal that european stans, for example, are very much interested in tours and more dates. because withholding our money is one thing, but that on the other hand shows that there is ZERO interest and that will just backfire.

it’s tricky. because on one hand, we don’t get much of anything so of course we jump at the chance to go and see an artist, but on the other hand we want more than that and we don’t have as much leverage as kfans. and, additionally, the european market is simply not a focus point right now, not for most companies anyways.

Shadow and Bone: Season 2 Review

Now that I’ve sat with my s2 feelings for a day, I want to put something a bit more coherent together.

Second seasons are always tricky. They tend to fall victim to a major quality drop; very often, a first season manages to be mindblowing and the second season falls completely flat. With how much I loved season 1, I spent the past year very afraid of what kind of quality season 2 might have.

The short of it: I was pleasantly surprised, I don’t think there was a quality drop, I think that quality-wise it was pretty much en-par with season 1.

Sadly, that does include the major flaw - cramming too much plot into too few episodes. Eight episodes are just not enough for just how much they make happen, watching it all is so overwhelming in how quickly everything happens and how nothing is allowed to breath because we have to rush to the next thing because we just don’t have the time to sit with anything. And that’s a shame.

At the very least they could have given this 10 episodes to allow it all to be loosened a little bit more, though I still think that this would have been the perfect jumping off point for a Six of Crows spin off and splitting the two major plotlines this season - the Shadow and Bone season 2 focusing on Alina’s story and giving the Crows their own spin-off. Simultaneous release and make them crossover, when Zoya and Tolya go visit the Crows and when the Crows come join SaB for the season finale, those interactions could have still happened, but I think there would have been less whiplash and more focus if the rest had been allowed to happen in two separate shows.

My favorite thing about this show has been and still is that it has great characters. The plot’s... questionable - I’m not gonna lie, I’m very happy they mixed the book series (despite what I literally just sad; I think it served s1 very well to mix them) - but the characters are so amazing? I’m the type of person who usually really latches onto one characters, that’s mine, and the others become secondary characters to my fave. I don’t think I’ve ever latched onto as many characters before.

I love and adore Aleksander so much, I don’t think I’ve ever felt this feral about and attached to a villain before in my life. Alina is the most compelling female lead I’ve met since Buffy Summers, honestly - she is strong, capable, soft, beautiful, amazing. I fell for Inej so very hard so quickly, she is so amazing. Jesper is absolutely brilliant, that balance of snark and soft coupled with canon bisexual. And I even latched onto Kaz in my own way, because his trauma-response in regards to touch made me project my asexuality onto him and there aren’t many characters that I headcanon as ace so I have a very, very soft spot for those characters in particular too.

That’s already more characters than usual and I genuinely that that would be it. I knew that season 2 would bring new characters and I had hoped they’d be nice additions but I actually grew unreasonably fond of them too.

Tolya and Tamar are absolutely amazing. I wish we could have had more focus on Tamar and particularly her romance - I didn’t like that the Tamar/Nadia basically only happened in the background, like I get that we are pressed for time, I do, but you are wasting so much time on so much straight relationship drama because this show is playing Noah’s Arc to degrees that are very rare to see outside of CW shows honestly, so it would have been nice if I had gotten at least a little focus on the one wlw ship on this show, especially since they did have great chemistry on their scenes together. And Tolya is adorable, the big, strong guy and then he loves poetry and I’m gone.

Nikolai actually makes me feel like someone tailor made that guy for me. The snark! The jokes! The insistence on not remembering Mal’s name! The high levels of chemistry with Alina and the fake marriage trope with Alina! He’s a pirate! He’s a prince! He’s handsome! He’s amazing! What can’t he do! Gotta love him.

Genuinely my favorite part really was on Nikolai’s pirate ship. I would have absolutely watched an entire season of Alina and Mal as parts of Nikolai’s crew. Just. Pirate stuff with Nikolai, Tolya, Tamar and Miradi.

I really thought I would be... disappointed this season. Maybe that’s why I’m not. Because I set my expectations incredibly low so they were hard to beat, but honestly? I genuinely enjoyed the season.

The costumes were absolutely stunning this season, the costume department went all out!

The new characters were great. The plot is still whatever to me, I have thoughts on that that may be worth a separate post at some point but the thoughts aren’t changes from season 1 so it’s not really impacted by season 2. Nothing in season 2 really did anything drastic that disappointed me plot-wise. Well, that’s maybe untrue, but... nothing disappointing in an unexpected manner, perhaps, would be a better way to put that?

Aside from maybe the book spoilers I knew, like that firebird thing. I read about that. I was expecting some epic shot, with an actual firebird, some cool reveal. Not an info-dump from Baghra, of all people. That was... anticlimactic. And it also honestly made no sense? In the books, Alina and Mal went and found the actual firebird, because they were looking for the firebird. Because Alina wanted to use the firebird as her amplifier. And then realized that Mal was the amplifier that would work for her. The show kind of... muddled that together and decided that Mal couldn’t find the firebird because he was the firebird. But he... he wasn’t? He wasn’t a bird, he may have been the amplifier, but he wasn’t the actual firebird. That was... weird, boring and also kind of illogical.

I do think the show’s biggest issue is its pacing. It’s like we’re running a sprint, but it’s actually the length of a marathon. I feel out of breath. Please slow down.

I liked the ending. The ending surprised me in a positive way. I did not see a corruption arc for Alina coming at all. I really didn’t. Been advocating for this since like episode 3, nobody told me there would be actual Alina corruption in canon so that’s a nice surprise. I like how this could be a final ending that would leave things open for interpretation while still wrapping up all major plotpoints, but it definitely invites season 3. A very sensible way to end a season when you write for a Netflix show and never know if you will be allowed to live or die.

Of course all the songs are great. Right now (subject to daily changes), my faves in order, and I'll link to yt in case you want to listen, too, right now haha:

"Dear Theodosia" - The way they are singing to their babies!!! AHHHHHHHHH. I could die. It's SO soft. and SO heartwarming. omg. I just. love love love this. the line: "You will come of age with our young nation." and "If we lay a strong enough foundation, we'll pass it on to you. We'll give the world to you, and you'll blow us all away." Seriously, is there anything more important than this 😭😭 And finding out that the original actor for Aaron Burr was praying for his yet unborn daughter when it wasn't his part to sing, and that by the end of the run, he had prayed around 500 times for her ugh 💓

"The Story of Tonight (Reprise)" - idk, no real explanation, it's just a funny, touching song. The line: "Raise a glass to freedom, something you will never see again." and John Lauren's "What are you trying to hide, Burr?" is so funny. Also, Alexander Hamilton's "Oh, shit" when he finds out that Aaron Burr is having an affair with a married woman. Just a feel-good song. Out of context, I now see that those lines don't sound funny or feel good.

"Guns and Ships" - My favorite character is the Marquis de Lafayette. I was so enthralled by the actor's charisma, I read the entire Wikipedia article on Lafayette and have been info-dumping this guy's whole life story on anyone who is a captive audience for me. Which has happened 4 times already. Did you know he was only 18-19 years old when he snuck away to America against King Louis XVI's orders because he was so sympathetic to the American cause and hungry for war glory? Did you know he was a war hero by the time he was 24? Did you know this? And Hamilton was like about the same age as him. Also did you know Lafayette picked up English fluently within a year of his travel to America? Shall I keep going? I can tell you more!

"It's Quiet Uptown" - This song gives me really emotions, I cry.

"Satisfied" - "From your sister who's always by your side." Anyone else has a loving eldest sister who's the wittiest, funniest, smartest, most charismatic in the family? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Honestly, Angelica Schuyler does NO wrong, and I am convinced based on the info in this musical that she did nothing wrong her entire life haha. Facts. Did you know she and her husband organized to help Lafayette escape from Austrian prison? (Which succeeded, except Lafayette got lost and recaptured).

"Helpless" - This song was my top fave after watching the musical. The actress sings so well. I love how absolutely gone she is in love with him, and that's basically how I aspire to write my NaruHina fics haha. This line: "I'm trying not to cry cuz there's nothing that your mind can't do." Just, the absolute faith she has in him!!! The admiration she has for his intelligence and the belief she has in his worth and capability!!! I love it.

"A Winter's Ball" - This song is very short. It also does the best job at showing that these guys were like. 19-20 years old. College age bros forreal.

"What'd I Miss" - Undeniably Thomas Jefferson has the most charisma of any character in the musical. I love the jazziness of this song, too.

"Non-Stop" - whoever said that this song is the entire musical crammed in 6 minutes is so right.

"Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" - Since this idea is basically the theme/lesson of the musical, it left an impact on me at the live show. Also, yeah, I'm a sucker for recording generational history and making sure that the sacrifices of the past aren't forgotten.

"Cabinet Battle #1" - This rap song convinces me I would've learned better in AP Gov if this musical had been around 13 years ago.

"The Election of 1800" - Hamilton's drag of Aaron Burr is such a burn. Ouch.

"Cabinet Battle #2" - These lines: "We signed a treaty with a king whose head is now in a basket. Would you like to take it out and ask it? 'Should we honor our treaty, King Louis’ head?' 'Uh… do whatever you want, I’m super dead.'" lol, point made.

i wish billy was in supersons. well he isnt a son (fatherless behavior. depends on the series whether or not he has daddy or mommy issues. just general parent issues. in the movies he has mommy issues) but he is a teenage superhero just slightly too young for teen titans. depends on the series again his age changes a lot. hes generally somewhere from 8-16 which is a really wide range. in the 40s he was a ten year old with a full time job and an apartment. i havent read enough of his comics to make accurate generalizations but hes usually a kid. i like how theyre going back the seperation of him and the captain. i think thats really important but hard to grasp. like theyre the same person but also different. the legacy of marvel crammed into one random kid. i wish the movie put more emphasis on him being good of heart. the movie was def based on. what was rhe run. i know exactly which kne it is i just dont know the name theyre all jyst valled shazam. fun with copyright laws! maybe instead of batgirl ill catch up with my good buddy billy. i want to see tawky twany i need to see him. i like how hes back in the newer comics. you can see now that hes my fave character i could write paragraphs on him

sooo what are your favorites? unless i missed your post. i haven't listened to the anthology enough times to have faves from the +15 songs yet but rn my favorites are florida and guilty as sin!!

i'm a little disappointed though? i felt like the original album was kinda mid like i was doing mental work trying to get through that first half what a snooze fest 😭

I totally get what you mean by being slightly disappointed, because I am too? I just think this album could've been produced better, and I think it just came out too soon enough for the craft to be perfected. I remember someone said that it feels like creatively Taylor is at a low, and I lowkey agree. While I love the fact we got a lot of new songs, I felt I was getting bored near the end. I was relistening to the whole album yesterday, and I didnt finish listening to the last two tracks because I was already bored by then and tired since this was last night. I literally found myself yawning 😭 I'm a bit sad at that, but I think overtime I will start to enjoy them more, perhaps.

Some of the songs feel a bit wordy, like she had to cram in a lot of words in it, I felt this with songs like, "I hate it here". But with that being said I do love some of the songs on it, so I'll list some of my stand out favorites here, the ones with stars I REALLY enjoyed:

Overall, for right now? I rate this a 5.5/10 album. Definitely not my favorite, I wish it was, like I wanted to be gagged so bad, but ultimately I wasn't at least for the first 3 listens, but this could change. I rated Ariana Grande's 'enternal sunshine' a 6 as well when I first listened but now I absolutely LOVE that album, it bumped up to a 7.5 for me!

So who knows in the future maybe this will turn into my favorite, but as of now, not really.

So @staidwaters u inspired me to attempt reading practice in Japanese again (u can ignore this long post tho friend lol i just wanted to let u know u motivated me o3o)/

So I grabbed my Reading Japanese and A Japanese Reader textbooks. Did not read them, cause intimidated and unmotivated. Instead? Opened up Clozemaster app Japanese.

Clicked Fluency Fast track (last time I only did "most common 100 words" and crammed 600ish example sentences cause I needed the grammar exposure tbh).

Well fun news everyone!

1. Clozemaster has updated the app so it now labels grammar parts of sentences if you click the ^ button (which is a nice feature to check our sentence word order), and now if you click the cloze words link it shows an in depth page with information about the word, origin, Kanji, pronunciations, and several different translator links. I'm not sure if they added these features to the other languages yet, but for a language like Japanese it's much appreciated. Also there's no hiragana in parentheses for all words after you click to reveal answer which helps with practicing pronunciation. So yay, one of my fave apps just made some even nicer quality of life improvements! (OK I just checked - chinese does have the changes in its Fluency Fast Track which is GREAT to see, korean does have the new grammar labels and added definitions).

2. I may be cheating perhaps because it seems to be giving me way easier Grammar than last time, but I found the sentences I just did easy to read and words easy to guess so I'm hopeful that means my Japanese has improved a little bit since the last time I did Japanese clozemaster.

Meanwhile, I played and beat Yakuza 0 this past week. And did so much listening to Japanese. Yes I had English subs so I know it hardly counts. But I feel like it refreshed me on a LOT I'd been rusty on. And warmed me up to a lot of less formal versions of grammar/words I am not as familiar with. It's also motivating tbh when I hear a whole sentence i understand. (To be fair though kiryu and some others say そうですか、そうだ、なんだよ、あんた何が aka a lot of real simple stuff).

Teasing Master Takagi-san - S2 OP2

If I don’t talk about this OP no one will! It’s not the most spectacular OP ever, but it doesn’t need to be. For an OP so soft, it’s hard hitting with the foreshadowing, such as the joke box Nishikata makes and the rubber Takagi lends him. I think this OP is so sweet, and I remember I used to get butterflies during that dance scene and that scene at the end where Takagi writes on Nishikata’s back. I don’t know the singer AT ALL, but her voice is so lilting and sweet! She really captured the essence of a childhood crush in 90 seconds. I can’t wait for S3!

9. Demon Slayer - S2 OP2

“Zankyou Zanka - Aimer”

Demon Slayer is a simple shounen, and the OP fits that; there’s no grandiose foreshadowing to events that happen seasons from now, but god take a look at this stunning OP.

LOOK! AT! THE! FUCKING!! ANIMATION!!! THE MUSIC!!!! THE FORESHADOWING!!!!! This OP is CRAMMED with sakuga! My poor heart BROKE when I saw Rengoku’s hilt guard at the start. Poor Uzui’s backstory is hinted at, but they get you so hyped up for the upcoming action and BOY DID THEY DELIVER THIS SEASON! I want to kiss Aimer on the mouth for giving us such a good OP, I didn’t think LiSA could be matched.

8. Kaguya-sama: Love is War? - S2 OP2

“DADDY ! DADDY ! DO ! - Masayuki Suzuki feat. Airi Suzuki”

AHHHHHHHHHHH I DIDN’T THINK THIS WOULD BE A FAVE BUT HERE IT IS! The music! The animation! The subtle details! Mwah mwah mwah! Brilliant! They fall in love with each other more every season! Their battle for love in the first season was fierce, unapologetic in its brutality, deadly! Here, it’s blossoming into something gentler, but not losing its intensity in the slightest. Also we get to see the side characters up to their antics at well, which is never a problem.

Btw this song is a MASTERPIECE, seeing the name of the song has you singing along already, I am dying to see what they do for S3.

7. Ranking of Kings - S1 OP2

“Naked Hero - Vaundy”

I already did my analysis on this ahah! Wow, I didn’t think you could pack so much emotion and foreshadowing into an OP but boy was I wrong! You can feel the love pouring out of Hiling’s gaze, and the love that went into making this superb OP. I love Vaundy, and I was so ecstatic to see them doing the OP for one of my now favourite anime ever.

This OP will definitely have the same nostalgic effect in ten years, where you burst out singing as soon you hear it. There’s a few like that on this list too. Oh yeah, and this may be the only OP on here to make me cry upon its first viewing. I would love to give it a higher ranking — I would’ve based on Vaundy alone — it could easily sit in the Top 5 any day, but we’ll see how the season ends first :D.

6. Attack on Titan - S1 OP1

“Feuerroter Pfeil und Bogen”

YEAAAAAAAAH!!! FIRST ANIME BABY!!! And I used to skip the OP WPEOSKDMSOEN. Still, this OP is utterly ICONIC!!! We all scream “JAEGER” at the top of our lungs, there’s no denying it.

The ~cinnamontopography~ 😩. The organised ranks of soldiers in almost blinding monochrome against the chaotic titans in splotchy neon colours. The way Annie, Mikasa and Eren move is so goddamn satisfying and beautiful to look at. That’s some REAAAAAL nice sakuga, straight from Studio Wit themselves. This OP was really the best first OP for a series like AOT, they knocked it outta the park!

5. Nichijou - S1 OP1

“My Ordinary Life - Kataomoi”

If that zooming shot isn’t the coolest thing you’ve ever seen in your life shut up with your butt up. The OP is so funny and the song is such a FUCKING BOP!!! They instantly set you up for all the gags that might take place over the course of the show and let you know you’re in for the craziest “slice of life” you’ve ever seen. Get ready to dance your ass off when this comes on, I’m making sure your feet leave the floor!

4. Neon Genesis Evangelion - S1 OP1

“A Cruel Angel’s Thesis”

ICONIC!!! GODDAMN ICONIC!!!! I love everything about how this OP looks and sounds. All that religious imagery and symbolism. Whatever could it be foreshadowing :0. Seeing flashes of the monstrous Eva 001 sends a thrill up your spine, and those frames of text let you know this ain’t your average mecha. I love those long sweeping shots, this anime really killed it with its editing. I’m glad the song is so iconic— it should be with such a sexy name. If you’re not singing along when you hear the lyrics, I’m gonna cause the third impact on your ass.

3. Beastars - S1 OP1

“Wild Side - Ali”

The minute I saw stop motion I was hooked, there was no doubt this was going down as one of my favourite openings. I love the chase at the start, the foreshadowing of the fountain, the confusion between lust and hunger in Legoshi's mind, THAT BEAUTIFUL DANCE SCENE? I got butterflies for like the first 30 times I watched it over and over. The song is an absolute bop as well, I hope ALI keep making music for a long time to come.

2. Mob Psycho 100 - S2 OP2

I nearly orgasmed every time I heard that damn bass riff at the start. Down bad for that bass. This OP is so creative visually, like it’s jaw dropping in the execution of all these different styles and mediums. That 3D spinning Lego animation at the start is fucking AWESOME! My favourite shot would be where all the layers that make up Mob separate and then hit him all at once, that shit gave me goosebumps. S2 went to new heights and the second OP definitely outdoes the first.

Anime fans are weeping knowing that something belonging to FMAB is in first place. It’s a good OP!!! It slapped me in the face with it’s foreshadowing and I failed to notice, smiling demurely like a fool!

It is a perfect OP, you hear this shit and you’re already singing. It’s such a beautiful OP as well, with plenty of sakuga, emotional beats and hype moments. Of course, every time you hear Yui start singing you just know things are gonna be good. Starting with the transmutation circle that started all this shit, and ending with Ed throwing his arm in the face (eye?) of GOD??! Wow, I implore you to check out Mother’s Basement for more in-depth analysis of this masterpiece of an OP.

yessssss ways to be wicked is a favorite of mine too, and all of the marlos 😌 i hadn't expected those marlos moments when i first started to watch descendants 2 but now they're some of the most iconic parts of the movie. i totally vibe with mal's wardrobe too. hmm do you have any favorite tropes or such for descendants characters? one of my favorite tropes is anything to do with magic, like witch evie.

Yasssssss, you have excellent taste Anon! WTBW appreciation time is upon us folks! I think it is one of, if not my actual favourite, group number. The vibes are just *chef's kiss* and exactlyyyyyy, the Marlos really snuck up on us and I think it really opened my eyes to all of the Marlos interactions, it definitely hooked me in and I think from just looking at my blog and my fics everyone can see how much I love the Marlos dynamic.

I love SO MANY tropes honestly, it's hard to pinpoint specific ones but I'll try my best. (Note, I think these are more headcanons and thoughts than tropes so sorry :']))

- Jock!Mal is a beloved of mine, I firmly believe that if Lonnie can join the fencing team then Mal could've joined the tourney team, because I would've loved to see Carlos and Evie bonding over chemistry y'know.

- I mean, I do love a good best friends to lovers...and I think that fits super well with many of my descendants faves honestly. All of the "and they shared a bed" but it doesn't faze any of them because they're so used to all cramming into one bed that it doesn't make a difference to them.

- Anytime they're sharing clothes, like borrowing Jay's hoodie, Jay giving Carlos his beanie, Evie draping a scarf around a grumpy Mal. Mal or Carlos wearing an oversized sweater or hoodie gives me such life, it's such a soft and perfect image But also I think it's because here are these kids that have only ever know to take and to only be out for themselves, that having feelings and caring about people is wrong. But here they are wanting to share something for these people who are the most important to them, wanting to share it. I just...I can't articulate what I mean properly but this!

- Character A: Yeah, I can’t make you do *thing,* but they can - character B: *smirks* - it works with any of them, I just. One pout from Evie or Carlos and they're done for.

- Evie playfully reprimanding the others for swearing but then she cusses ALL THE DAMN TIME. Like she mutters snarky shit under her breath and one time after a conversation with "King" Adam she told him to fuck off and then ran away. Just Evie being allowed to swear and be rude and be bitchy, I love bitchy!Evie. Because for most of her childhood she's been made to act a certain way, she's not been allowed to be angry, she's been taught that she must act a certain way and then when getting to Auradon she is forced into remedial goodness and she is stopped from acting the way she wants to act without consequences. And, I am not a fan of constantly shoving Evie into this "mom friend" role, when clearly that belongs to Jay, like Evie isn't always repremanding them - she can also cause chaos and be a bitch, whilst also being one of the nicest people you will ever meet. It's the duality she deserves.

- Always a sucker for protective Rotten four, especially protective Carlos because people seem to write him off as "weak" but when Carlos is mad? Like he's canonically the only one who stood up to their parents in the video chat scene?! Also how he is with Mal in D2, like if looks could kill RIP ben :'))) but also, I just love the idea of Carlos reigning hell fire on people for hurting the three people he cares about most

- That weapon trope where the person is like "hand over all of your weapons" and then keeps glaring at them until they've handed over ever weapon including the little piece of barbed wire in their pocket and taking out hairgrips. I'm sorry but Evie would have so many places to hide her weapons, all the pockets!!! Jay straight up trying to sneak weapons into his hat and everybody shrieking when Carlos pulls a dagger from his boot.

- All the magic! Mal has magic, Evie has magic, Jay has magic. EVERYONE GETS SOME MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just like the ideas of them all exploring their magic and my precious magical beloveds and Carlos supporting their magical endevours by encoruaging pranks and experiments with magic!!!

- Dragon Mal! But also, like her skin glittering and her being able to fly even when she's not fully transformed, her having little horns and scales along her arms. More of Mal and her dragon qualities and exploring those sides of her even, like partial transformations. Can she shapeshift into a smaller dragon? Do her scales change colour when her emotions do? When she's mad do the scales on her arms get more prominent? All of the dragon lore.

- Similarly, all the fae lore too. Like, I recently wrote a thing where I mentioned that Mal, being a fae or part-fae; doesn't get cold like the others, not that she doesn't get cold, but that it doesn't affect her as much as it does the others. like Mal's teeth being like little fangs, and her exploring her fae roots and what that means for her.

376,879 (but that’s gonna jump WAY UP as soon as I get my Big Bang posted! *rubs hands together*)

Well, if we’re being honest, many. I may or may not have a couple pseuds gathering dust somewhere. But there was a minute where I wrote SPN fic. Now I’m just writing HP.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Criminal, Stupid Love, Chasing Dragons, Intention, Sweet Indulgence

5. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I… usually don’t. HEAR ME OUT. I have reasons: 1) I don’t know how to reply to compliments because on the inside I’m screaming in joy, but on the outside, I’m grinning awkwardly with too many teeth in the sort of way that makes you want to back away slowly. 2) My natural response of Asldfjsoleijfaj thank you :sobbing face emoji: doesn’t come close to expressing the actual gratitude I feel when people take time out of their day to tell me their favourite lines, the places where their hearts stopped, the way they stayed up all night to finish a story. So no, I don’t respond to comments. But I do read them. Multiple times. I carry them with me and reread them when I’m feeling low or questioning why the hell I ever thought I was any good at this writing thing. My heart goes pitter patter every time I see that little AO3 notification in my inbox, even if I never know what to say in response.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

NONE. ONLY HAPPY ENDINGS IN MY HOUSE.

7. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve ever written?

No, not really. I guess I did write a Drarry Clueless AU called ‘Tis a Far Better Thing, but I wouldn’t call it a crossover. More like an homage firmly grounded in the HP universe.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Oh sure, but nothing too drastic. I’ve received some distressed responses to the end of Criminal, which is ludicrous to me because I was quite proud of how that one wrapped up. Perhaps it just wasn’t what they expected.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

*slow smirk* Yes. I write the smut. All the emotionally charged, highly explicit smut I can cram into a fic. In fact, I don’t have any intentions of writing smutless fic. For my stories, the smut is an essential device in expressing a character’s unfiltered perception of another character, of themselves, and their desires. And it’s hot. Love to read it, write it, everything. All of it. Give it to me.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No! Don’t do that! Not nice.

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I’d love to!

12. What’s your all time favorite ship?

*sigh* I mean, I write a LOT of Drarry. That was my gateway ship. But… can’t they all be my favourite? *Clutches Johnlock, Drarry, Destiel, Spideypool, Hannigram, Starker and all my problematic faves to my chest*

Harry Potter. My first love with whom I have reunited at last.

I will pretty much always cite whatever my most recent fic is when asked this. But Chasing Dragons is probably my current favourite. I carved out a chunk of my soul and threw it at my laptop to make that fic.

The sun’s rays are what cause your eyes to open, your vision slowly adjusting to see around the room. You look towards the bedside table to see the digital clock just turn to 8:32 am. The body next to you shifts and an arm is thrown over your waist, pulling you closer to him. Izuku hums, the sound rumbling in his chest as he kisses your temple. You turn to face him with your noses touching. His eyes flutter open and he immediately smiles seeing your face so early in the morning when he has a day off.

“Good morning, honey.”

Bakugou Katsuki

“Look, princess/prince, I’m sorry.”

His hand reaches into your pocket to engulf your own, leading you to his left side. He puts your intertwined hands in his own coat pocket. With his temperature regulation your body is suddenly overcome with a comfortable temperature radiating from him.

You didn’t notice him standing there before his arms wrap around your middle, his unruly indigo hair tickling your cheek as he buries his face into your neck. He lifts his head up so he lips graze your ear.

“You’ve been at this for hours. Come take a break, kitten.”

Kirishima Eijrou

The typical “make-out even if there’s a killer coming for us” scene comes up and Denki nudges your leg to get your attention.

“Wanna go recreate this scene later, hotstuff?” He wiggles his eyebrows and you can’t help but laugh as you push his shoulder.

Tokoyami Fumikage

He was leaning against his wall with you laying back against his chest between his legs. Fumikage turns the page of the book when he notices you were falling asleep, your head lolling to the side as you tried to keep your eyes open.

“Are you tired, my dear?” You hum softly before allowing the sleepiness to overcome you, laying comfortably on him. He closes the book and places it gently to the side. His hands find the blanket and he pulls it up to cover you both. He takes the book to finish where he left off, occasionally running his hands through your hair just the way you liked it.
