based on tarot. i do not know these idols personally. energies are always changing. what i say is NOT straight fact. pls take it with a grain of salt!

+ so unsurprisingly, this girl is a professional through and through. very common pattern for people who entered the industry at an early age. hard work in the entertainment business comes to them astoundingly easy. (something i saw for ni-ki previously)

she's just as polished and sophisticated off cam, as she is on cam. very focused on maintaining a clean image even behind the scenes, she's aware that's what can make or break a public figure. quite a few idols put on an angel act when cameras are on them, but allow themselves to be reckless beyond closed doors. wonyoung knows people talk, there's this sense of a continuously cautious “trust nobody” in her. this is something that sets her apart from many others. wonyoung is very aware that things will get out eventually, so she's incredibly eager to withhold a flawless reputation even behind the scenes. she's also extremely protective of what is hers, whether that's her material possessions (money, expensive or cherished items), the image she's worked hard on maintaining, her loved ones and cherished relationships. wonyoung puts a lot of value into keeping them in check, making sure they're taken care of.

i looked up her mars sign and immediately went “aaah” as soon as i saw it's in virgo, because she seems to be outstanding at planning. wonyoung is very calculated, everything she does she's fully aware of. she always acts while exactly knowing the effects it has on, not only herself, but the people around her. this is also a quality she doesn't only use for her own good, but many people around her seem to appreciate. since she's incredibly intuitive, she can combine those two qualities, which makes for a person who's great at identifying and reading situations, and wisely acting according to this profuse intuition. for example, if someone she's close to is telling her about their struggles, she not only is great at making them feel cared about and listened to, offering them emotional understanding and support, but also excellent at grasping the problem and conflict, and providing the person with helpful solutions on how to act. random thought, but i could see her being a pretty good psychologist, or lawyer. (did she ever talk about wanting to work in medicine or law if she wasn't an idol?)

wonyoung is very smart. not only emotionally intelligent, but also very eloquent. great at speaking and finding the right words at the right time. there's also a lot of drive in this girl, like so much. she has a very determined attitude, which can be contagious to the people around her. amazing at pulling people out of situations that seem hopeless, and giving them courage to move forward. a very good team player, she's capable of adjusting to her co-workers and compromising, finding a middle-ground for the sake of the team. i can see many people truly enjoying to work with her, because she doesn't only have such a profound understanding of what she's doing, but is also considerate of the people around her.

lastly, this girl literally pulls the strings, has most people at the palm of her hands with ease. especially in a romantic manner, if any men mess with wonyoung.. make no mistake, she will not be played by them but instead play them swiftly, probably without them even noticing until later. the type to smile at you and hug you while stabbing an injection with your own poison in your back, knowing you did this to yourself. type to beat you at your own game while smiling politely.

she will not allow anyone to trick her, make a fool out of her. she reads and understands behaviorial patterns very well, so it just isn't easy to mislead her. however! best believe she only does this to people who do her wrong first. people who deserve it. it's giving “i'm sweet and respectful to everyone but, you better know not to mess with me, because that's when you'll get to see a different side to me” as i mentioned, i can see her being pretty cut-throat when it comes to men. especially in the industry. many weird ass men in there, wonyoung does not allow them to put themselves above her, just because of their bizarre gender superiority complex. (i remember this spiting some male idols in my reputation reading lmao well..) there's this thing of her always remaining crazy polite though, and doing just enough for payback. in this smart manner in which she can't be blamed or faulted for it.

- i hate to say this, but wonyoung can have her entitled princess tendencies. it's kinda giving spoiled rich girl who not only expects the best treatment, but is also so selective over who she calls her friends, depending on their status. not sure if she grew up in a rich household, but this seems like something that comes very naturally to her. she's very very meticulous, very very picky and perfectionistic. even if she doesn't always express it in a mean or aggressive way, it can just rub people the wrong way since it can give off pick me energy. i can see her being all “hmmm no” about some potentially beneficial things in her career like jobs or opportunities, just because she can feel superior to them. like she's above them. very much boss energy and it again, is incredibly smart in several ways, but sometimes it can be off putting, she isn't always right in her judgement without fail.

she's so invested in closely managing people's image of her, that she can quickly drive herself crazy over trivial details. there seems to be a lot of fear when it comes to letting go of this obsession and control over her reputation, as well as making herself vulnerable. wonyoung seems to have a lot of trust issues. this comes up everytime i read for her.. there's this constant feeling like everyone is out to get her somehow. i think she's seen a lot of shit happen in the industry, people in the business can be cruel and cold. just like the public, they can often look at and treat idols as these emotionless dolls. due to this, wonyoung can easily get mistrustful of people with pure and good intentions. she protects her heart in a very fierce manner. (this could for sure go up to the green flags but her immense trust issues seem to potentially stand in the way of her forming genuine and healthy connections too)

she's so scared of appearing easy to attack, easy to hurt or easy to access and weak. she hates crying in front of people, and always puts on a perfect mask she hides all her inner struggles behind. she's scared of baring her true soul to people because she doesn't like the thought of them seeing her as a flawed person. wonyoung sets herself up to skyhigh standards, because she believes she's lacking and unworthy of praise if she doesn't meet those expectations. she feels like she needs to be perfect for people to like her, which is sad and ironic, because.. they literally go on hating on her for appearing so perfect. people need to calm the hell down, shut the hell up and realize their words are making her put on even more of an act, hide herself even further, since she's actually so easily hurt. her heart is much softer than people realize, and much softer than she herself would like it to be.

SM Rookies

I've watched a lot of NCT content (mostly 127 related), more than most fans, but there are still gaps. I'm not a geek type of a person, I don't need to know absolutely everything about something I enjoy. I covered the basics (all MVs, all albums, the beginning, the pre-debut info, etc) and left the rest to "when I have time and mood".

As 127 slowed down with their content releases, the last unit was formed to wrap up the NCT project, and the military era is upon us, now I have the motivation to catch up with the past.

I generally know SMRookie era, but I haven't watched the programmes (Rookies and EXO, Disney Micky Mouse club). I'll start with a recap. (There are fandom Wiki-s, so google for more details yourself)

SMRookies. The idea was launched in 2013. And it was still kind of alive during the introduction of new neos. Shotaro and Sungchan were promoted in the same manner (promotion without being in a fixed unit), and NCT Wish went though the preparatory period like old neos did with SM Rookies Show (small venue concerts around Japan with song covers to practice working on the stage and gather first supporters).

In a sense. The Rookies system is like SM's own idol survival show. K-pop fans get to know the trainees, watch them perform, but the debut of the participants isn't guaranteed. The system is probably obsolete by now. The field of k-pop and promotional tactics have changed. NCT Wish might be the last who participated in it. The new gg which should debut in 2024 will show.

Rookies were introduced in groups over a few years.

2013

December 2nd, SM announced Seulgi, Taeyong, Jeno.

December 9th - Irene, Jaehyun, and Lami.

December 16th - Hansol, Mark, and Jisung.

December 23th - Johnny, Yuta, and Ten.

Lami and Hansol didn't make it as idols. Lami started as a child actress and is now also listed as an actress signed to SM. Hansol left SM, debuted with Newkidd, he finished the military and is now teaching dance in Australia. He says he will comeback to Korea, he is on a break (Newkidd has been on a prolonged hiatus, Hansol clings to his dream, but I doubt anything will pan out in the future).

Hansol's case was always curious to me. He was a part of the A-team and SM Rookies, i.e. he was chosen by SM, and yet he is the only one who didn't end up in NCT. I think Shohei will repeat his fate. Other neos greet him on music award shows, but can't talk about him in NCT content and lives. He was erased.

Why he never made it? He wasn't the best of the best. He was only a dancer, he was tall and handsome, but there were no spots left for him in 127. And he couldn't debut with WayV as a Korean after the Chinese ban on Korean celebreties performing in the country. Johnny had English and ties to US, Yuta had ties to Japan, Jungwoo could sing and was more charming, Sungchan (very much the same idol type, I think) was younger.

Still, was it a problem to add him to 127 together with JohnDo? He wasn't popular enough? SM didn't see a potential after a trial period? He was liked by everyone, it's hard to imagine there being a conflict with other neos.

Frankly, watching the content with him, I don't think NCT lost anything. He doesn't have the spark. Evenso, it is still a lesson of how unpredictable the path to success can be.

The Rookies introduced in 2013 (only the hyung line) + Taeil + Yong Ju performed on SMTown week show (Hansol in red). Another performance.

Yong Ju left on his own very soon. He wasn't interested in NCT concept. Never became an official Rookie.

The difference between Taeil's and Doyoung's first stages is also interesting to me. Both are the "glee club boys", who joined an idol agency to be able to sing, who always were rivals during trainee days as top vocalists. However, Doyoung joined later (wasn't ready for SMTown), was kept hidden, and was introduced as an MC. Different set of talents, different time, different approach at promotion. (Do came in with the experience of student body vice-president and all his talkative skills).

2014

March 19th - Wendy

July 17 - Donghyuk (later Haechan)

The officially introduced Rookie batch was promoted here and there. A site was launched, Rookies did short YT introductory videos. Solo performances were uploaded as well. (you can find them all on SM main YT channel)

"TY track" Tae's moniker is thanks to his feature in an earlier Red Velvet song. As you see, RV and NCT were sister/brother group originally (it's more of aespa/NCT now, lol). The connection allowed for stages like Tae+Seulgi.

Johnny, Irene, Taeyong, Seulgi

Most importantly, the lore of NCT began with Taeyong's "Open the door" on July 21st.

2015

January 15th - Doyoung

April 22th - Jaemin

July 9th - Koeun, Hina, and Herin

October 13th - Taeil

December 18th - Kun

Instantly after introduction Do joined Jae for ShowChamp as MC for half a year.

Same as Taeil, Jaemin performed on SMRookies events prior to being officially announced as a Rookie. Taeil was removed from dances pretty early. The routines became difficult, the special videos showcased the dance line only. Kun's introducation (and his participation in Without U, Chinese version) meant LSM was serious about launching a Chinese and a Japanese unit soon after 127.

The girls participated in Micky Mouse club together with Dreamies, but none of them debuted with SM (Herin left early, but, it seems, Koeun and Hina waited for aespa, but weren't selected).

Koeun played alongside Jungwoo in Yesung's "Paper Umbrella" MV.

More of dance videos uploaded on YT. Ten&Jaehyun played in the Hope Basketball All-Star basketball games and Yuta replaced Minho at MBC Idol Star Games (football).

In August - first Rookies Shows. Every boy who had been introduced so far. + Taeil. Lol, they just forgot they hadn't officially debuted him and remembered postfactum. Does the ceremony have anything to do with contracts?

Here is where the first divide lies. Chenle, Renjun, WinWin are yet to join SM. Kun didn't participate. It's why Renjun wasn't close to Doyoung before NCT2020, why Ten is close to 127.

SMRookies show gave us Tende unit and the song "Timeless", as well as the TaeDo single (written by Tae) that later was released as "Lightbulb" in 2020 with additional neos on the track. If you ever wondered why in Japan Johnny gets birthday cakes in the form of a fish, it's because of "Under the sea".

2016

January 5th - WinWin

September 19th - Yiyang and Ningning

The first NCT lore videos (Origin, Synchronization of your dreams, 7th sense) were released Jan-Feb. Taeil released his famous "apada gwenchana" OST.

LSM really wanted a member to pull in Chinese audience, heh. WW got in SM late and was inserted in all promo material right away. Yiyang left SM and is in a Chinese idol group now.

Yuta participated in another football game. And got a magazine feature in April.

Ten wasn't forgotten. Thai magazine (scans and translation).

SMRookies finished last SMRookie shows in Thailand in February. SM was gearing up for NCT unit debuts in Spring and Summer.

Johnny played a DG set October 2016. By then he was already part of 127 (not officially). I'm making a point out of Yuta and Johnny's promotions because the fandom likes to say they never got anything.

Lucas, Jungwoo, Xiaojun, YangYang, Hendery, Seunghan, Eunseuk, Shohei. I think Sungchan and Shotaro skipped the phase as they debuted as part of NCT without prior introduction. Same as Chenle and Renjun.

So, to sum it up.

Practically all Rookie boys debuted. Didn't make it: Hansol, Shohei. Lucas and Seunghan debuted but were lost due to scandals. Shotaro and Sungchan relocated not just to another unit, but to another group.

The official NCT lore lost 4 dreamers (italics). This story isn't without its victims.

Half of the girls didn't make it. aespa has only 4 members afterall, heh. (seems like the new gg will have 8-9)

the easiest way to tick sung off without much effort has to do with politeness. he gives a lot more grace to foreigners, but really doesn't stand for it from born koreans

i mention negative ideas most since those are hardest for nice muses BUT in gen, sung is kind of a 'friend of the industry' guy. though, especially when he was younger, he had a hard time picking up on cues from people that they didn't want to be friends. he's pretty full on and touchy straight away. loves him a little cuddle

it's very likely that the public will be very disappointed with the debut. it was not what they were expecting and they will think it's unfair that certain members have more lines and/or screen time than others, which will lead to conflict between fandoms of each group. however, if got is planning to keep releasing music, the group's fans will wish the next comebacks to be better.

how does each of the girls feel about the group?

boa ⇢ she's probably very scared to debut in a group. when the company informed her that she was going to be part of got, boa saw it as a good opportunity and had high expectations, since she was not having many job opportunities and surely sm was not paying her very well either... however, those expectations she had for the group turned out to be unreal. she may have felt very lonely while she practiced with the other girls, since she's the only soloist, while the others joined the group along with other members of their respective groups. it's also very likely that she wanted to do something specific, but the producers did not agree with her and boa was irritated by that.

6 of swords + 2 of pentacles (r) + the hanged man + the star

taeyeon ⇢ when she found out that she was going to be part of this group, taeyeon accepted it and thought that the group had great potential. however, it was difficult for her to deal with the other members, as she felt there was an imbalance in the group... but she didn't care and she continued to have a positive mindset. taeyeon has a lot of faith in the group. she has a lot of confidence both in herself and in others, and she also feels rejuvenated, cause it's been a while since she promoted in a group I MISS SNSD SO MUCH, BTW :(.

the empress + knight of swords (r) + 7 of cups

hyoyeon ⇢ hyoyeon is the mom of the group. she likes the girls so much and they see her as a super loving and maternal person, but also firm when it's necessary. however, when they were working together, hyoyeon may have wanted to contribute with the choreography, for example, but the choreographer(s)/production team didn't take that into consideration, since, according to them, what she was proposing would not work and maybe that felt like a threat to her. just like taeyeon and boa, she also doesn't know what will happen to the group in the future; she sees it as somewhat uncertain, but with a bleak outlook.

5 of swords + the hermit (r) + judgment + ace of pentacles + 6 of swords + the sun (r)

seulgi ⇢ seulgi has mixed feelings with got. she loves the idea as it will bring her more opportunities and she sees it as a new adventure, but she feels guilty about not being able to promote with red velvet. it seems that red velvet didn't liked that sm was planning on making this group and that two of their members were going to participate, while the rest of them are still waiting for the company to give them another comeback GIVE MY GIRLS A COMEBACK, SM. they may have taken it too personal and seulgi feels guilty that this happened. when practicing with the members of got, she felt lonely and disoriented, but then she finally decided to go ahead and do her best. however, it seems that suddenly all the ambition seulgi felt for her group disappeared, making her think that the future of got is not very promising.

wendy ⇢ again, it seems that the rest of red velvet didn't like that seulgi and wendy joined this group, which caused a lot of conflicts to arise and the lack of communication was prevailed here. it seems that in got there's also a lot of instability and lack of communication, but wendy tries to change this... however, it seems that there was a conflict with someone in particular who made her feel very sad, but in the end everything was resolved. wendy sees a lot of potential in the group and wants it to continue.

the hierophant + page of cups (r) + 2 of swords + the fool

karina ⇢ karina sees got as a great opportunity to learn more. it's a great honor for her to be part of a group with her seniors and she greatly values the opportunity she received, promising herself to give her best and not take this in a subtle way. since karina is still a rookie, she feels she has no creativity to contribute to the group and may think she looks immature compared to her seniors. since the other girls already have too much experience, she pays a lot of attention to what the others tell her. karina has mixed feelings as well, since she likes to be in aespa and in got, but if she had to choose between one of the two she would go crazy. in got she would gain a lot more experience, but with aespa she already has a bond with the rest of the members and she doesn't want to leave them. karina doesn't want to worry too much about got's future, she just wants to enjoy the time till it lasts and do whatever she has to do without regrets.

9 of swords + 9 of cups (r) + 10 of pentacles (r) + death

winter ⇢ winter was very scared when she found out that she was going to be part of the group, as she worried that she would do a bad job in front of her seniors... but, it seems that all that fear disappeared and turned into greed, wanting to do more things with them. however, while she was practising with her seniors and demonstrating all that she had learned, there was a time where she no longer had much to show because the amount of effort she put into her trainee days. got will completely transform winter and make people no longer see her as a rookie.

what will the future of the group be like?

8 of wands (r) + the magician + the tower

they will not last long. although the company has high hopes for the group, got will face many obstacles which will prevent them from continuing. however, there is no doubt that this experience will help each one grow a lot.

✧ 101 dalmatians!au [ayaka]

notes: ........this is actually an updated (not rly) version of my 101 dalmatians!au with seulgi on my kpop gg writing blog..... sorryyyy i'm not being lazy i promise!! i've just got back from holiday and am working on a ningguang x reader but it might take a while (i rly wanna perfect it) so this is a placeholder for now :p

you would occasionally spot kamisato ayaka in the park walking her dalmatian. she's well-known around the local area because of her older brother: the mayor of the city. in fact, you also have a dog of the same breed, which is what drew you to her in the first place—minus her eye-catchingly extravagant outfits and cute facial features.

your own dalmatian is wonderful. when you were ten years old, your christmas wish was to get a puppy. much to your younger self’s disappointment, santa claus had gifted you with a rather large—and older—"puppy" than you had imagined in your head. nevertheless, you treated the newly named pongo with as much love as you could give him.

fast forward about ten years later and here is the same pongo eagerly trying to gain your attention as you sit in front of your piano. you’re thinking of how best to go about composing the last few bars of a song you’re working on.

unbeknownst to you, the dalmatian had sneakily altered the time of the clock and is now motioning to the door, howling. you double-check the time on your wristwatch but despite the inconsistency, you decide to go for the daily walk and attach a leash to his collar. it seems like you have no other choice: pongo has your hat between his teeth and is scratching at the door handle. you laugh as you give in to your dog’s contagious enthusiasm, taking your fedora from his mouth.

with the leash in one hand and a ball in the other, you are manhandled—or should i say doghandled—as pongo drags you all the way to the park. he appears to be looking for something, but you dismiss it. you attempt to undo the clasp of the leash, failing when pongo suddenly dashes off.

“slow down, pongo!” you yelp. this kind of high-energy behaviour isn’t new to you but it certainly catches you off-guard. in the end, you let your dog indulge himself in his antics and you’re led to the edge of the lake where you take a seat and gasp for breath. goodness, you don’t think you’ve ever done so much running in your life.

exhausted, you fan yourself with your fedora and loosen the top button on your dress shirt. the grass underneath you feels nice to rest on compared to the wooden chair you’d been sitting on for the whole morning.

it takes you a second to notice your companion gazing at a certain animal behind you. turning around, you recognise the dalmatian who’s seized pongo’s eyes from her pink collar and apprehensively look up to the owner. she’s perched on a bench next to the dog with her signature fan and a book in her hands. in shock, you jerk your head forward and blink a few times.

should we move somewhere else?

as if sensing your uneasiness, pongo barks and jumps to grab your hat. you sigh but grin at his mischievous face.

“come on, pongo. give it back.” taking her eyes off the pages of her book, ayaka glances at you and your dog, the ends of her mouth curving up ever so slightly to form a smile which stays hidden behind the upright fan. you throw the ball lightly in an attempt to get him to drop your hat.

it doesn't quite work and instead, rolls in the direction of the occupied bench. perdita, ayaka's dalmatian, glimpses at it, trying to withhold the urge to play with the bouncy toy. ayaka chuckles which causes you to cease your glaring at pongo to face her. the ringing of her laugh is pleasant and something you haven’t noticed before.

if only i could hear it every day. gently, you hit your cheeks to awaken yourself from your thoughts.

pongo is now frolicking in circles with the captured hat, vying for the attention of ayaka's dog. while you’re battling a two-way argument in your head and one with your dalmatian, you feel a soft nudge on your thigh. perdita has given you the ball back, and you could hear pongo whimpering sadly. impressed, you pet perdita who reacts with a delightful pant. the female dalmatian glances at pongo and apathetically walks back to her owner, who attaches a leash. they start to walk away.

pongo yaps in surprise. quickly, he abandons your hat and is about to take off when you tell him to stay, which he does obediently. you could tell your dog is planning to go after perdita, but you don’t want him running around aimlessly so you fasten his leash.

as soon as you do though, you’re being hauled once again towards kamisato ayaka. the hyperactive dalmatian follows the blue-haired woman and playfully circles her, earning a giggle from the subject of interest. unfortunately for the both of you, your legs have gotten tied to hers.

“oh my, i'm very sorry about this!” you blush. of course, you’ve never been in such close quarters with her before making it all the more embarrassing but you don’t entirely regret this moment either… until you realise that with the both of you frantically trying to get out of the awkward position and your dog pulling at the leash, the result would be all three of you tethering on the edge of the lake and perdita helplessly grabbing onto her owner to prevent the fall.

“oh no.” a splash is heard throughout the park.

clothes damp, you sit in the shallow water in cold shock, finding yourself no longer tangled around the dog leash. next to you, ayaka stands up to try searching for her hat and fan which pongo finds and gives to you with an almost apologetic expression.

“it seems i've lost my belongings,” she says worriedly.

“don’t worry, i have the things you're looking for right here.” you hand her her possessions and fix her hair but to no avail.

“ah, thank you.” you brush her wet bangs to the side so she could see.

“i'm truly very sorry! i don’t know how we ended up in the lake of all things.” you apologise profusely to the bewildered lady and attempt to make things better by removing the plants from her clothes. meanwhile, pongo has shaken himself dry and is relaxing next to perdita.

gosh, what kind of situation have i gotten myself into?

“no, it’s alright, i'll just dry myself off for now.” you see ayaka fetching a… soaked handkerchief from her purse.

“hold on, i usually carry one in my pocket.” however, yours too, is also drenched. “oh—"

ayaka begins to giggle. dumbfounded, you laugh with her. both of your dogs glance at each other and back at the pair of you, cocking their heads. you thought the pleasant sound and amicable smile were the only things about her laughter that could make your heart swell but now, with ayaka right in front of you, you notice things you would’ve never been able to before. you witness how her eyes crinkle and close shut and how her cheeks balloon revealing an even more charming side to her. you wonder what it would be like if you could make her this happy all the time.

after helping ayaka out of the pond, you feel it wouldn’t be right to leave her to go home all doused in water.

“would it be possible to invite you to our house? we live close by so it would be no trouble at all if you want to dry off there. it would probably be very uncomfortable to journey home in this state and i can't bear to watch you attempt to.” shyly, you meet her eyes after your impromptu offer to see ayaka grinning.

“i think i'd like to accept that offer. i suppose it is your fault too!” she quips and jokingly nudges your shoulder.

you smile back and turn to face your dalmatian who you will whisper many thank yous to later in life.

It was obvious how tense and awkward jaemin was the entire time you stayed at his house, which lasted longer than you thought. You stayed for two days, per jaemins request, and you thought what if he's finally angry and decides to break. No, it was the complete and utter opposite. Jaemin was sweet, something you've barely seen when he used to bully or make fun of you before all this happened. He made sure you were okay staying with him another night and took care of you when you weren't hungover.

Did anything special happen though? Nope, just you and jaemin cuddling every so often while binge watching Netflix shows while he sometimes cracked jokes here and there.

It was definitely a sight to see. Even made you wonder if this is what its like to date him.

"Nana," you spoke, jaemin lifting his head off your shoulders to give you his attention, "Get up, we need to go to school."

Jaemin groaned, putting his head down on your pillow like chest and began, "Can't we just skip school?" He whined, "Maybe play a bit too?" Jaemin lifted his chin up, placing it on top of your breasts as he pouted, waiting for you to give into his cuteness.

Wouldn't that be nice- but you weren't going to miss school to mess around with jaemin. No way. You weren't even his girlfriend yet and you were sure his little play thing, seulgi, wouldn't be too happy, shes been calling him since he brought you here.

"No." You grabbed him by his hair and peeled him off your body. Jaemin wasn't very amused by the action.

"Oh i get it." He mumbled, "You want to see jeno, right?"

The question caught you off guard. But jaemin being jealous wasn't unknown to you anymore. He was possessive, that much you knew, and he always found a way to guilt trip you about it.

"I mean, we have been talking a lot more so a lil bit." You smiled, earning an eye roll from jaemin as he got up with nothing else to say and stalked his closet for something to wear. You glanced at your clothes which were actually his. And since you never went back to your apartment to get another outfit, you had to wear what you wore at the party.

Eyes stared into your bare back after you threw off the shirt that covered your body. They lingered, but didn't settle on staying until you slipped the bralette on.

Jaemin was going to comment about it, yet kept his mouth shut because there was no use saying he could give you a t-shirt instead, youd just complain about how it didn't match.

But the skirt was a different story. It was a party skirt, something way too short for school. No wonder jeno liked it. And to be honest, jaemin didn't hate it himself, he'd just rather not have people like jeno staring at you and your thighs. You were his. At least in his head you were.

"Fuck!" You screamed, "My bags at home." Softening your voice, jaemin just about wanted to smack you for scaring the shit out of him. He actually thanked the heavens your bag wasn't here, it gave you a reason to change.

"Let's go to your place quickly before school starts." Jaemin grabbed his things and you nodded, following behind him almost speed walking because of how long his strides were. "And change when we get there too."

You looked down at your fit and hummed, stepping into the car ready for jaemin to go.

"I don't think I can handle trig anymore." You bit your lip at the paper in hand. Jaemin looked down over your shoulder and almost scoffed. It was the homework due today, of course it was also one of the hardest pages the professor had given the class too, making it ten times harder for you to finish.

"If you had come over these past few nights, you wouldn't be so stressed." Jaemin shrugged.

It was like you knew he would say that with the way you rolled your eyes and crumpled the paper up, "Im actually thinking of dropping that class." You stated.

"Dont." He rested a hand on your shoulder, "Come over later and I'll help you." It wasn't even a question, in fact it was him telling you to do something. Its clear jaemins had enough of you ignoring him and hes also fed up with your complaining. Even wondered why you held out this long.

"But-"

"I'm not taking no for an answer anymore." Jaemin stated sternly as he sighed, stopping in front of your classroom and put his hands in his pocket. "Stop trying to ignore me," he leaned forward, just inches away from your face, "its not working."

"Just because you think its not working doesn't mean its not working...." You tilted your head to the side questioning your own words, "Anyway, you're jealous." Crossing your arms and leaning against the wall, your ego fed off of jaemins glaring eyes.

"Bullshit," jaemin tsked, "why would I be jealous?"

You smirked despite knowing you were playing a dangerous game with him. And jaemins good at playing games, he's done it to you for years.

You took a step forward, ultimately getting closer to his still leaned over figure and said, "You kept staring at jeno and I at the cafe and you had an attitude the entire time. Its obvious you know." Slithering a hand up his cheek, you pinched his smooth skin, "Nanas jealous."

It was an understatement to say jaemin didn't feel shivers go up his spine from your low voice. For once jaemin didn't have anything to come up with. Nothing crossed his mind to tell you that what you saw of him wasn't him being jealous, but that would be the dumbest of lies.

"Quiet for once? That's a first." You snickered at the small shade of red on his cheeks. It was either anger or him actually getting flustered. Either way you still claimed victory for keeping him surprisingly quiet.

Jaemin pulled your hand away from his face and opened his mouth, "Admit that you're purposely doing it then. There's no way you and jeno are magically good friends now. You hate him just as much as you hated me."

"Im not purposely making you jealous," you lied, "And I never hated jeno, just strongly disliked him for being friends with you."

The older almost laughed in your face from how stupid your lie was. "If you want my attention, say it." He smirked, proceeding to push you against the wall behind you without a second thought making you uncross your arms, "Its not hard y/n."

His hands trailed down to your waist, intensly watching your face as you looked around him, afraid that what he'd do will go too far and some students will see a not so innocent sight.

"Youre full of yourself." You inhaled sharply as he leaned forward ever so closely, just barely brushing his lips over yours.

"And you'll be full of nana soon." Jaemin almost closed the space between you with his lips, but someone stopped him.

"Jaemin!!!" Seulgi came running up to jaemin in her cute high heeled shoes. Her hair bouncing perfectly against her back as she pulled him away from you and into a hug, not before she planted a kiss to his lips as if you weren't standing right there, "I haven't seen you in so long, babe. You didn't call." She pouted with more puppy eyes than normal.

You missed the way jaemin growled at her, almost throwing seulgi off him since you were so focused on them kissing. Never did you think you'd witness it either. Something about it made your stomach churn and you couldnt bare stand there for long before walking away, taking zero notice of the way jaemin called out for you.

"Let's get some coffee before the bell rings." Seulgi pulled jaemin, but his eyes still lingered on the door you entered.

You couldnt stop your mind from racing in class. It was like your mind was playing games on you, telling you that jaemin wasn't in the slightest interested in you and thats why he never answered you, because he was too embarrassed to be seen with someone like you.

But that was only you overthinking.

Obviously jaemin cared for you, he wouldnt have let you stay over his house, tutored you, or be possessive when it came to you. So why did he kiss her back? In front of you too? Was he actually dating her for real?

These questions ran through your head, giving you a mini headache from thinking too hard about it.

It was like you were in high school all over again where everything was dramatic for no reason, well in some aspects you made it this way, but your point still stands.

"Y/n," someone tapped the table repeatedly, bringing you back to reality, "Class is over." jeno looked at you with suspicion but brushed it off thinking you were probably tired.

You glanced around the empty room before looking back at jeno, "Oh...yeah."

"Well uh," he scratched the back of his head, "You should probably get to your next class."

That's the last thing you wanted to do. Jaemin would be there and so was one of seulgis minions that always kept an eye out for anything he did. As annoying as it was, you weren't surprised anymore.

"Im gonna skip."

Jeno grimaced as you stood up and grabbed your things, walking towards the rooms exit as he followed close behind, "You? Skip? What the fuck??"

You stopped in your tracks, jeno almost bumbing into you in the process, "Do I need to spell it out for you or something? S-k-"

"No shut up. Its just shocking that your skipping." Jeno half grinned at the way you stared at him stoically.

"What are you getting at?"

The man before you chuckled, "Im saying youre a goody two shoes and you've never done a bad thing in your life."

You can't say he was wrong, but you also have to admit that you have stepped out of your shell recently and maybe for the better.

"Everyone changes some time in their lives." You pointed out, strolling out of the class to nowhere specific. "Better run to class jeno, dont want the teacher calling you put again."

"Yeah yeah." He eye smiled, giving you a quick pat on the back before saying bye and walking to his class.
