there are probably historians in the mcu who swore blind that steve and bucky were more than 'best friends' but were either ridiculed, ostracized, or outright blacklisted from academia for daring to suggest anything so scandalous about two of the most important people in 20th century american history. they may have even lost their jobs and been discredited during the mccarthy era and the lavender scare in the late '40s and into the '50s, which saw a purge of suspected gay and lesbian civil servants from federal government (and lots of other professions too).

have been having some weird body dysmorphia issues regarding my face and chin and neck and im trying to practice looking at myself neutrally so that looking at myself doesnt give me this skewed perspective and instead i just think "thats just some guy" lol.

generally why i dont wear chokers or collars very much in public LOL. however i feel silly about it now because if i saw someone else who looks exactly like me id be like that guy looks fine. literally just some guy.
