anyway the fucking coffee is back at it again, this time it's humanoid's. first of all, humanoid acting like a literal fucking baby. the mad lions crew are so nice and like "here marek have your coffee!!" and humanoid being the bitch she is trying to get them to just tip it into her mouth? leaving this pic here because his lips are jutted out and he's looking at the coffee and he's bent forward and really it's a great screencap. and carzzy's there too ig. just watching. i'm getting really way too many ideas from this.

anyway carzzy makes an actually kinda clever joke about rq-ing which is rare for him. he is still too proud of it btw. ALSO for carzzy characterization, you need to understand that he is a clown. he does not exist outside of the need to make people laugh at/with him. his relationship with humanoid would fail were humanoid not also down bad and extremely entertained by him. this is promptly followed by! carzzy not knowing what he's saying but just dragging it out because he thinks there's maybe some humor in it (this is a thing i do. it's not funny)

It has been years since we last stroll down the beaches of Rios, didn’t we?”

“It has...” Simone replied, then shut her eyes to meditate. “To get tickets for the cruise will be expensive, because the Drifting City is growing closer to our region. Not many ships will go straight to Rios from here.”

“How unfortunate...” Seth let out a sad sigh, then shrugged with a smile. “But no price is too high when it comes to spending time with you!”

“Then you better get the tickets soon, Seth.” Simone then opened her eyes to give her husband a warm smile. “But you do know that no matter where we go, just being with you is enough.”

Sam and Max fic recs

I’ve literally never done a fic recs thing so let’s see how this goes

• “Paperwork” by gigawatts

- Basically a classic accidental confession story. So fucking fluffy but also in character. Max being a needy little shit in the beginning is hilarious. It’s one of those tooth rotting things where it’s hard to stop smiling.

• “Remember to Always Kiss your Homies” by Freelance_Magic

- Wonderfully lighthearted, clearly doesn’t take itself too seriously but never to the point of being crack. If your a big fan of the tv series like me you’ll love this, it captures the vibe of it perfectly and that’s honestly a feat.

• “I Don’t Even Like Girls” by Kettle_Fish

- Just a really good kid fic. The author clearly understands how 12 year olds really act/ talk, and what level of relationship stuff is actually appropriate for characters that young. Max has that moment every queer kid experiences where he’s like “wait, this is an option?” and it’s done so perfectly and in character. Sam is also causally portrayed with sensory issues, which I really like.

• “Sam and Max’s First Wedding” by Horrid_Thingz_323

- Another good kid fic, again does a good job at having a “crush” vibe instead of an overtly romantic one. The descriptions are awesome, so much detail immersing you in the scene and really making it feel like these characters have a life outside of the story

• “The Best Mistake I Ever Made” by H_Works

- Sam and Max get together as a couple in the car ride BACK from their wedding, which is an interesting and funny concept. Just a sweet acknowledgment of feelings without much hallabaloo (well, for Sam and Max that is)

• “Don’t Tell Sam” by The_Heart_Breaker

- Drunken confession. Need I say more? Max is hilarious and oddly sweet, and Sam is so in character, clearly excited about what’s happening but keeping reserved and waiting for the right moment.

• “Sam and Max in the Tunnel of Love” by Kosei

- Not particularly fluffy but feels more in character. Basically just them in the tunnel of love casually talking about the idea of relationships. These feel like the reactions they actually would have in this situation

• “Max’s Complicated Relationship with Love” by ben_plantt

- So with a title like that it’s basically a character study, and the ideas explored are so sweet and/or genuinely interesting. Granny Ruth is involved so what’s not to love? One of my favorite endings to a fic ever, I couldn’t stop smiling, it was simple but so perfect

• “No Animals Allowed” by Bunny_Bombastic

- This one starts off with Sam and Max’s pregnant moms discussing what they’ll name their new children. You quickly realize they are not very good moms. The rest follows the two from a distance as they grow up, told from the point of view of grandpa Stinky in his diner. This is such a unique and wonderful fic! It’s so good at feeling like an accurate snap shot of each of these characters and doesn’t hold your hand with information, but let’s you figure things out organically. (My favorite example of this is the “beet can scene” in particular.) Definitely one of my new favorites.

Five Fave Fics

🍑 Here You Come Again

A year after taking over his family’s peach orchard, Louis thinks he has it all figured out. His routine on the farm is mundane, yet familiar, and his dog Clifford is more than enough to keep him company. It isn’t until Harry, his ex-boyfriend who broke his heart and left their small town a decade ago to pursue a bigger, brighter future in the city, comes to stay on the farm that he realises just how badly he was lying to himself.

The fact that this is not only my latest but also my longest fic may be playing a big part in it being in my top 5, but I really do love this fic. I just love this version of Harry and Louis, and reading it back makes me want to run away to the countryside. I really loved writing this one and I’m so happy about how it came out. The perfect mix of fluff and angst.

💜 Baby, Don’t Apologize

Harry being an asexual Omega means his Alpha Louis has had to spend his ruts alone for the past decade despite being mated. He’s not sure who feels most hurt by it.

My little Ace baby. ❤️ This fic is really close to my heart, because I put a lot of myself in it without really realising it. I’m so soft for Harry in this fic, and his relationship with Louis in this is something I’ll probably long for for the rest of my life. The reaction to it has been so so lovely, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget the warmth this fic makes me feel every time I think of it.

🍼 Where Love Grows

When his husband leaves without warning only weeks after the birth of their first child, a struggling Harry is forced to move in with a work colleague and raise his newborn in the desolate, dreary outskirts of London. There, within the walls of a shitty apartment complex, he meets Louis Tomlinson, fellow struggling parent and hopeless romantic.

I remember really struggling with writer’s block while I was writing this fic, and I re-wrote it multiple times before getting it right. But I love it exactly the way it is and I wouldn’t change a single thing going back. This story just fills my heart with so much warmth and hope, and I think about these characters so often it’s probably unhealthy.

💌 Love Mail

A week after moving into a new apartment complex, Harry discovers the mailman doesn’t seem to know the difference between numbers 23 and 28. He’s not too mad about it when he finds out just how handsome his neighbour from apartment 28 really is.

Or the one where Harry and Louis keep mistakingly receiving each other’s mail (and also fall in love).

This fic always puts a smile on my face. It’s fluffy, and funny, and Harry and Louis are SO flirty towards each other and I had the most fun writing about their different encounters and little quirks. And I’m not going to spoil it but the small twist at the end makes it even better. I had a lightbulb moment writing it and I’m soo glad I wrote that in because it really makes the fic in my opinion.

🍭 Sweet like candy

Louis is an Alpha with an odd obsession for gummy bears. Harry is an Omega who makes friends a little too easily. They meet on the bus.

This was my first time writing for a fest, and also my first ever ABO fic. Now, ABO is probably my favourite trope to write, and I feel like this fic has a lot to do with that. It’s also basically just tooth-rotting fluff, which so happens to be my absolute favourite.

also isn’t the type who starts acting funny/avoids you or struggle with trying to befriend you (if you two had been strangers and konoha had one of those ‘love at first sight’ moments.)

yet in this route, you two are actually good friends and he found out had a crush on you when thoughts of you kept clouding his mind along with how he no other person could keep his interest romantically except you.

didn’t rush himself on telling you how he felt towards you. rather, he decided to let things flow just in case his mind and heart were playing a trick on him.

when konoha is ready then he’ll most likely dropped the biggest hits that he wants you.

definitely made more time for you whenever you asked to hang out, didn’t hesitate to reject others and make it known to them that you had his full attention either, and always complimented you more as well.

he finally asked you out when going out to watch fireworks together.

the confession wasn’t tooth rotting sweet yet it wasn’t dry as the desert either. konoha had planned his words perfectly and told you exactly how he felt towards you before asking “will you be mine?”

of course that night led to you two being together now~

which brings us to how the relationship is like.

for starters, i firmly believe akinori is the kind of boyfriend who wears hair ties/scrunches on his wrist for you.

he never knows when you might ask or text him about needing one so he keeps it on him just in case.

doesn’t care if some dudes get on him for it either. same with friends.

in aki’s mind at least he thinks what he does is normal and deems himself as a good boyfriend for it.

most definitely likes getting his nails done with you or by you.

if you mention going to the nail salon, best believe your boyfriend is tagging along and getting his done.

although the first few times he went with, aki went for clear nail polish because he wasn’t ready for color yet.

only started going for it for when you jokingly said you two should get matching nail colors and he was like “yeah. sounds good with me.”

and didn’t mind it. actually fell in love with the concept.

as for home, if you’re bored and just want to play pretend nail tech then aki is already sitting at your little set up ready.

“make my nails look extra pretty, princess. i want to show them off later and brag about how you did them.”

“of course~ since you said that, i’ll add a design on them. my initials.”

i FIRMLY believe he’s also the kind of boyfriend who lets you use his face to do makeup looks you saw online.

although he may complain sometimes, deep down he actually loves it since he gets to stare at you up close and find amusement with how focus you are about making sure the look comes out just like the picture.

vvv  supportive and uplifting. konoha loves and i mean LOVES the idea of being there for you, helping you out whenever he can as well.

the relationship is filled with jokes. mainly a lot of inside jokes that outsiders find it so odd— even going as far to question what some mean, but ofc none of you talk about it.

konoha wasn’t into face care/didn’t think much of it before he met you.

so if you’re someone who LOVES face care or generally taking care of your skin then you definitely changed his mind.

dude will indulge in your little spa nights at home. asking you what each products does for his skin and what some do to yours (assuming you two have different skin types).

will definitely take pictures of moments like those and make them his lock screen because he finds its cute even those the face mask on you both looks hella weird.

loves LOVES spoiling you. 

whether it’ll be with actual gifts, physical affections (which is limited) or his words— he’ll spoil you without hesitation.

konoha enjoys the concept of making it known he’s truly in love with you and doesn’t plan on stopping either.

also loves when you spoil him too.

something about you doing it makes his heart and mind do about 2937748 backflips and laps around the track.

don’t know if this will make sense, but aki still likes to woo you over as if you’re still in the beginning stage of dating when you two aren’t anymore.

suppose this can be labeled as him just being extremely affectionate which i strongly agree that he is but it’s only around you.

it’s been hinted at during the crush part, but i’ll make it known now— he’s extremely loyal to you.

ever since aki decided to commit himself to you. 

which is rare due to the fact that commit to him is something that shouldn’t be handed to just anyone. even in previous relationships, he never really gave much of it since he’ll either notice things about that partner that were hidden (by that partner), he just isn’t into them anymore due to lost of feeling or things seeming boring.

so any thoughts of konoha cheating or looking at anyone else is impossible. his heart belongs to you and only you <3

something to quickly add.. arguments with him are extremely rare.

aki isn’t into conflict so he’ll do everything in his power to avoid.

however, if it still occurs then he’ll end up speaking his mind without filtering himself. now that can either put out the fire or fuel it even more. truly depends on how you take it, but if it gets worst then apologizes will be issued in a means to fix it.

anyways— can’t convince me this man doesn’t binge watch those weird videos that are recommended to you on YouTube or any of your favorite shows and/or movies on Netflix with you.

now let’s quickly talk about nicknames, pda, and dates.

starting with nicknames, i’ve mentioned one but aki main nicknames for you: princess, my love, gorgeous, juliet (after romeo and juliet. it started off as a joke to call each other that but now it stays), and peach.

pda with konoha isn’t much.

in public and private, it’s just the basic. private may be a little more ahead depending on how aki is feeling, but it’s not much.

not because he doesn’t like your touch since he does yet physical affection just isn’t something that gets his interest most of the time.

so don’t take it personally when he doesn’t want to do much, but i’m sure if you beg a little then he’ll give in.

with that out the way— time to talk about dates.

dates with him range from almost anything and everything.

konoha is someone that is adventurous and likes change once in awhile so of course that’s going to incorporate itself within dates.

although do except picture to be taken while on those dates. aki finds it heartwarming to capture those moments together and he can always look back at them if you are far each other.

overall: a relationship with konoha is enjoyable. things are always changing within the relationship so it never turns boring.

Welcome to the ABO fic rec list! I just want to clarify this is not for werewolf AUs, this is A/B/O dynamic. This also has been highly recommended and I’m so sorry it took me so long, i was struggling about whether or not to include the smuts that are like, no plot lol. But I decided I will, they will just be separated. The first part is stories that are not solely focused on smut, and the second set are ones where smut drives the story. Okay so I know everyones read this, and if you haven��t……do it right now. But I feel like I would burst into flames if I didn’t include this. This story, is absolutely one of the best things I’ve ever read. I would read it 51284823 times if I could. The relationship between these two, is just the burst thing. Theres no ulterior motive, he loves her and will do anything he can to protect her, she is learning to love and trust him. There is nothing more beautiful. Its a slow burn, but thats what it should be. It perfectly builds their relationship into what it is now, which is something that I can only hope to get. Allie is an artist with all of her works, but this one is just so special.

It being about the right to choose who to be with, when to be with them, and in what capacity, and its beautiful.

Oh man, now this one, what a series. So action-packed, so many twists and turns, any time you think things have calmed down? NOPE somethings gonna hurt lol. But its just so, so good. And its long so it has a lot of time to build these wonderful characters and this universe and this family, I miss getting updates for this, I was always so excited to find out what happened. I always love stories where the female lead is really independent and strong. Its nice to see. Super, super well done, highly recommend. Also check out their fic The Red Cloak

God I am straight up in love with this story. Its actually about Chubby Alpha Bucky and Beta reader which is so cool and unique, it’s always so awesome to find for different and this fic it’s just like the thing for me. Their dynamic is so cute, you have independent beta reader, insecure and infatuated bucky, it just leads to a love that so pure and not guided by power complexes and its actually really plot twisty lol. Love it.

You get big protective bucky surrounded by pups and little babies being protective of the reader and bucky not knowing what to do, I cannot even begin to explain how close I got to legitimately squealing.

I love this one, I just really like stories that give a glimpse into the Winter Soldier. He is aggressively soft in this, which may be OOC but who cares I love it lol. You juts really feel for Bucky, you want to give him a hug and let him be happy. He is such a sweet boy who gets so much bad thrown at him :( anyways, super well done fic, absolutely loved it.

We love a jealous!bucky and possessive!bucky ! I love mutual pining stories too! And this is the cutest combination of them. Bucky is crushing hard on his girl, his girl is crushing hard on him back, are they gonna do anything about it? Of course not! Not until bucks jealousy overrides his common sense lol. This story is just really cute, really well done, and the dynamic between ALL of the characters is really fitting. (Im talking about Tony messing with Buck lol)

This is a short but sweet, and funny Drabble. I love seeing protective Bucky with a crush, its adorable. It makes me want to wrap him up in a blanket and never let go. Love this.

This one is so cute. Its not smut with no plot, but It is over half smut id say. I don’t know what it is about like, weird fated get togethers that just automatically make a story a favorite, but it really does. I loved how this one isn’t like, we accidentally mated so lets just tough it out, like they had this genuine connection. The sun was nice too if you know what I mean lol. One morning you, an omega, wake up next to the an alpha you only met the night before with a bonding mark on your neck.  What are you going to do now?

This one I loved because there was just this awesome dynamic between the characters. You see them before the smut, and he really just cares for the reader, he wants her to be okay and happy and this smut wasn’t driven by anything other than wanting to make his girl feel good. Jealous/possessive Bucky comforts you, his (not yet) omega that is struggling with the results of a recent mission.

This one isn’t mainly smut, but its filthy lol, so I needed to add it here haha. Really good though, I loved the sort of enemies to lovers vibe, its all about that sexual tension yo! Bucky forgets to take his suppressants in time during a mission with you. You offer your help but he rejects, afraid that he’d hurt you because it’s his first rut since decades. OKAY LETS START THIS OFF WITH A BANG! This is the first Bucky CEO story I’ve ever read, and it was like an amazing Segway into this AU. So reader has a crush on her boss, he supposedly doesn’t like her back, so she joins a dating website where she meets this mysterious guy and falls in love. Crazy right? Even more so that it’s actually her boss?? This was a fantastic story filled with mutual pining, fluff, some perfectly timed angst, but most of all, some of the softest Bucky towards the end that I have ever been blessed to read. I want him to talk to me like that :( really loved this one!

Let’s go right into another amazing story. So this one is about Bucky boring FCC a new assistant, one who he basically falls in love with, and oh holy hell shes engaged. Let’s see how this turns out. So I will say it’s not finished yet, but I think what’s there is amazing enough to warrant a place on this list! Meg is a genius in how she writes the dynamic between characters. You feel for all of them no matter what, Bucky is detached and the reader is oblivious and you just want to shove them together like dolls and make them fall in love! It’s definitely a rollercoaster ride, and I’m excited to possibly see where it ends up :)

OH THIS ONE IS SO SWEET! Okay so this one is about the reader wanting to give her boss Bucky Barnes chocolate on Valentine’s Day, when she sees she got some flowers. So when I say sweet I mean tooth rotting fluff holy hell I loved it. They’re both the biggest shy dorks who obviously have feeling for them and it really made my heart swell to ungodly proportions it was not okay. Bucky is the sweetest most nervous boy, and the reader isn’t much better. In a matter of like 1k words I was already immersed and invested in this possible relationship it was crazy! Amazing 

Pleasure and Business by @notimetoblog

OK wow, this one is just fantastic. So James and the reader are set to make a deal. So there’s something about this one that’s just really mysterious, like throughout the whole story you kind a know what’s going on but also you don’t, it’s a really good story and really unique when it comes to CEOs stories because the reader seems to hold the place of power as well, I also really really love the dynamic between the two characters because it’s really playful and loving and lighthearted even in this business setting, and I never really completely got what The business deal they were making was, but honestly it doesn’t even matter because the story was so good.

LOL, OK so this one. All I’ll say, is that the reader is Buckys good luck charm, and he needed it for a specific business call. This one was a trip. it was filthy, but written so well. And just the general storyline, while he’s on the phone made it exciting like not just because it was sexy but because it was just really like oh my God what’s going to happen is he going to get caught?! And man Bucky has a mouth on him, but I’m not gonna spoil it but let me just tell you, Suz has a way with endings. I genuinely didn’t expect it and That made it that much more awesome

The Man by @interestedbystanderwrites ***

Oof! This one! Now this one was amazing. So this one was about the raider going to her exes wedding, when she meets Bucky Barnes, who just so happens to own the hotel the wedding is held that. there are night leads to some down and dirty times, which is how all times like these should. This one was just really fun to read, because not only was it smut but it was also interwoven into a storyline, and at the end you’re really left wanting more. There’s a little hint of sugar daddy in there at the end, which makes it like even more interesting. Super good.

Late nights at the office by @after-avenging-hours ***

Oh I love this one! And I think I love it because it’s a really amazing mix of the storyline, and really well written smut. So this one is about Bucky being the readers boss, and there’s a deal coming up so he sends her a request to get something done by a day that causes miscommunication between them. So I really like this one because Bucky isn’t portrayed as like a jerk boss as he is and some other stories which is really refreshing, like he was genuinely sad that there was that miscommunication and she stayed after, and I think that made it all the more rewarding when they didn’t have sexy times because you actually really liked both characters. And it was well written, and you were left wanting to know what goes on with them in the future. Lovely.

okay so I really love this one. It’s super sweet, Bucky is a very busy CEO, and the reader is an extremely patient and understanding girlfriend. It was really cute, especially the end. I love stories like this where Bucky is genuinely a good guy who loves his girlfriend and understands that he’s not being the most available to her. I love seeing the moment he realized he needed to do something, and honestly just seeing healthy relationships in fics is so refreshing, and it was really well written.

Ohhhhh this one is like an OG favorite of mine. So this one is about suave cocky Bucky Barnes getting everything he wants in life, until you. The reader comes in and shakes his whole world and it’s the cutest. Seeing the tension they have throughout the story is exciting, but my absolute favorite part was the fact that throughout the story you can see his love her her change from lust to love, or at least that’s how I saw it. And like you also got to know him and understand him over time. It was a great read, unique story line, loved it!

Okay! So now we have a man awesome POC!reader story!! I love this one, I don’t know if I would qualify it as a series of oneshots but maybe that’s what it is, either way it’s great. So it’s a series of moments that showcase certain parts of the readers life and her relationship with Bucky. This is just a really sweet story, it really showcases the life of a POC In the discriminating world, especially when it comes to business, and it really opened my eyes to how I read these stories. Bucky is also super sweet, When he loves, he loves hard and with his whole self and you can really see it in this story. It’s beautiful.

Okay! So this one I loved. It’s about the reader moving to New York to start a new life after a breakup. She wants to be a photographer, and in that time, she received a text from a wrong number. Let the whirlwind romance begin! It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s SOFT BUCKY! It’s really just a whole package haha. Oh this one was spicy. So it’s about Bucky being really stressed and busy at work, and his wife coming up with a plan to help him relax. That plan is very sexual, and provides a wonderful story to read lol. But I also like the tender aspect of their relationship that you see in little snippets, you can tell they really care about each other over everything else. And I think that’s really important to see in these CEO stories because usually he’s a jerk.

So this is a story about Bucky being stressed at work, and you deciding to help him relax. Obviously that answer is sexual lol, the best way don’t we all know. This was very smutty, not much to it other than smut, but it was really well written and very entertaining haha. Also, loved the little snarky back and forth at the end, it was cute!

Ohhhhhhh buddy, now this is a killer one. So this one is about the reader goes out to celebrate a promotion, had a wonderful one night stand, and surprise? That guy was her boss. What could go wrong? This one was so awesome. Daisy is such a great writer, and this is a prime example. There were so many twists and turns and it was actually realistic you know? Like there wasn’t a perfect story, they messed up, he messed up, and it wasn’t all sunshine’s and rainbows. The reader stood up for herself and I really admire that!

The description is right! This is so damn fluffy I cant handle it! So it’s about the reader and Bucky spending quality time together after he’s been super busy at work. It’s so freaking cute, all of the flashbacks, the way you can see that they truly genuinely care about eachother. Like, it’s one of my favorite things to see a relationship consisting of two people who love eachother. Nothin Better than reading about love. And Bucky, god Bucky is the sweetest in this! And let me say, I will also love Bucky Barnes forever.
