theyre all so confused and freaked out by your sudden change overnight that they start to miss you and how normal you were—not knowing how it grounded them all until you started to ice them out </3

you have far more pressing matters to attend to, like the strange influx of people from your world either already existing or being transported here—on top of keeping your secret identity safe from your suddenly overbearing and worrysome family members.

at some point (probably after they find out you're spidey) you tell them about how this isn't actually their you, and that you're from another universe—but they're so far gone they don't even care at that point—they love u and just want u back already!!!

they don't care you're not technically their [name], they love you more than anything and you're their sibling!! no way youll be going "back home" now. this is your home, silly!

YKNOW TBH I honestly think lambie wouldn't be crazy for food in general anymore, even burgers, so ultimately very indifferent to it since they don't need to eat anymore to sustain their body. This is largely based on how my gameplay started out eating everyday to coming to a point that the sermons were enough that i got rid of my own cooking station entirely. so they weren't like this at the start, but the more they became less in contact with their mortality and closer to their godhood the more that mortal pleasures become "below them" if you catch my drift

•she's not great with words– we know this. but she's spent a lot of time figuring out what to say, how to convey just how she feels about you.

•he's so nervous and it's so sweet. he'll plan everything out because he's a sweetheart and wants it to be perfect.

•when he invites you to hang out, he seems a bit on edge and can't look you in the eye because you're so gorgeous and he will freeze up.

•100% gets you flowers. will also get you your favorite food– better yet, he'll make it. yes, his hands are trembling when he gives them to you.

•he'll spend the entire night before drafting up the most heartwarming message you've ever read. he feels kinda bad that he can't tell you directly, so he makes sure to communicate how he feels the best he can.

•it took him a while to accept that he had feelings for you, so it'll probably take him months to even think about confessing.

•honestly, you'll probably end up confessing before he does. if you don't, though, there's gonna be a lot of unspoken tension.

•he'll end up confessing for a couple reasons. one, taylor will not stop pestering him until he does because it's so obvious you two like each other. two, he gets so fed up with all the uncertainty and tension. he hates it.

•during the actual confession, he's a mess. his face is pink and he's obviously flustered but he'll get so defensive if you point it out.

•he's lowkey fumbling over his words until eventually he just blurts it out. he thinks it's the most embarrassing thing he's ever done– you think it's sweet.

•"i'm in love with you, okay?!"

•"...shut up– stop laughing!"

•he'll be so butthurt until you assure him that you feel the same way. he's still gonna be butthurt after, but he'll be too distracted to really care.

•taylor's really in tune with her emotions, so she'll know pretty quickly when she develops feelings for you.

•she'll give it a month or so until she confesses, just because she's nervous and she really doesn't wanna mess anything up.

•her confession would be really thought out. she'd have your favorite movie, snacks and drinks laid on her bed.

•she'll try to keep it short and sweet, but taylor has a tendency to ramble. there's a good chance she'll go off topic and you'll just sit there, smiling and listening to her talk until she realizes.

•just like her brother, her face will be pink the entire time. she won't get defensive if you point it out, since you most likely look the exact same way.

•"i've liked you for a while now, but i just didn't wanna say anything. y'know, in case i messed something up between us or you didn't wanna be friends anymore- you still wanna be friends, right?"

•you'll have to tell her you wanna be more than friends. she doesn't wanna accidentally overstep by asking.

logan fields:

•he's the type of person that will go through every possible scenario before making a decision. that's why it took him so long to confess to you– he was nervous you'd reject him.

•when he does decide to confess, the first thing he's doing is hand making a bouquet from his grandparents greenhouse. taylor helps him by asking what your favorite flowers are.

•he's also a rambler, but he doesn't go off topic. he tries to keep it simple because he doesn't want to overwhelm you, and it works! he has to physically stop himself from rambling from nerves, though.

•when you accept his confession, he's smiling from ear to ear for a good week.

•his heart melts when he sees that you've put the bouquet he made in a vase, sitting proudly on your kitchen counter.

•audibly sighs from relief when he realized you didn't reject him– and gets embarrassed when he realizes that you heard him.

AITA for vague posting about my ex after he got me an expensive but upsetting gift?

I (23 m) and my ex (22 m) have only been separated from our 2 year long relationship for a few months now. I was the one who broke things off and I wanted to stay friends, however, for reasons I feel are obvious, this was super difficult for him. We went a while without talking regularly, and he was often very upset with me and short, and would vague me online (very privately). It made me really upset to be treated that way but I didnt say anything since he was grieving and processing our breakup. About a month into our split, my service cat passed I was extremely distraught and upset, like this was my best friend and it was so sudden, I was unstable from grief, but he reached out with his condolences and I really appreciated it. We talked more and seemed to be reconnecting and I was super excited about it. I came over to him to help him fix his car, picked him up from the airport, etc. I had missed him so much and were finally hanging out again!! I had been grieving quietly for another month when, while I'm petsitting his cats for him, he tells me about a gift he left for me. I open it to a letter saying that basically he was having a hard time getting over our breakup and that he didnt know if hed ever be over it, but he was sorry for my recent loss. I unpackaged the gift to reveal one of those 3D felted cat portraits of my late best friend. It was too much for me to see him in 3D again and I started sobbing and freaking out immediately. I texted him thanking him for the gift, but saying it was too soon for me to have recieved it, but I didnt elaborate much on that for fear he'd be upset that his gift has hurt me. I didn't have many other people to personally reach out to about my grief. My friends all seriously disliked this guy for most of my relationship with him (he had done some really upsetting shit to me several times before he was medicated and they thought he was bad for me) and I didnt want to talk shit about him like theyd want to, I like this guy a lot... I also posted privately online that I had recieved a gift (not saying what it was, not saying who it was from) that I wasnt ready to get and that it was sending me into a grief spiral again. I didnt use his name because I worried people would comment to talk shit about him and he would see. Well a friend of mine made a comment saying that whoever gave it to me should have thought more about how I would feel to recieve it. I responded basically telling my friend that I wasnt upset about the gift giver, just the gift itself had caused me to relive some stuff I wasnt ready for. But my ex saw and reached out to me saying "oh so your friends think I'm a bad person? I can take the gift back then." Which I tried to argue that I really loved the gift and that I didnt think he was a bad person. I showed him that I had disagreed with my friend, and rhat I wasnt venting about a good thing he did for me, but rather the post was more about my grief for the loss of my pet. The argument basically ended with me saying that I felt I needed to be totally emotionally sterile for his comfort and wasnt allowed to feel my grief publicly, and him saying that I could feel grief but I shouldnt have vagued him because then people could freely comment and judge him since he was nameless in the post. I deleted my post and agreed with him that I probably shouldnt have made the post at all, I apologized and hoped we could move on, but he replied with "dont talk to me" and blocked me on the social media where I made the post. I ended up reaching out again a few days ago (a week from our fight) to apologize for having gone too far during our argument and suggesting we meet in person to talk. He told me that our argument had made him the most manic he had ever been and that he appreciated the option to talk it out in person but he was very angry that I would treat him like that after saying I wanted to maintain a friendship. I apologized again, saying I wish we could be nicer to each other and we havent talked since.

(I'm trying to keep this as neutral as possible, all my friends are on my side but I still feel like it might be because they just never liked him...)

You wake up and something smells... weird. Like burnt something. You’re not sure what it is, but it’s definitely not breakfast.

You sit up, rubbing your eyes, and stretch. The blanket is warm and smells like Siolis, kind of like soap and maybe grass? It’s a nice smell. Comforting.

Then there’s a loud bang from the kitchen, followed by a frustrated voice. You think you hear them say “damn it,” which makes you even more curious.

So you get out of bed and go check.

When you peek into the kitchen, you almost laugh. There’s flour everywhere. The counter’s a mess, something weird is boiling in a pot, and a frying pan is upside down on the floor. Siolis is just standing there, arms crossed, staring at the stove like it personally insulted them.

You laugh a little, and they whip around fast. They look surprised. Maybe even embarrassed.

“You weren’t supposed to wake up yet,” they say, kind of stiff. “I had it under control.”

You walk up and smile at them. There’s flour on their black hair, so you brush your fingers through their hair to get it out.

“You were trying to cook for me?”

They nod, still not looking at you. “It was going to be a surprise.”

You hug them from behind and lean your head against their back. “It still is. Just... maybe not a tasty one.”

They don’t laugh, but you can tell they’re less tense now. Their hand moves to rest over yours.

“I’ll do better next time,” they say quietly.

You smile. “Even if you don’t, I’ll still eat it. Probably.”

you were trying to do something simple—anything really—that didn’t involve being right next to Gen for once. But she wasn’t having it.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Gen asked, her voice calm but with that usual edge of authority.

“I was just getting up to grab a drink,” you said, glancing back at her.

She was already right behind you, her arms wrapped around your waist as she pulled you back to the couch.

“Nope. You’re staying right here with me,” Gen said, a little too happily.

You laughed awkwardly, trying to wiggle out of her grip. “Gen, you’re being clingy.”

“I’m not clingy!” she insisted, giving you a little squeeze. “I’m just making sure you’re safe.”

“Safe? From what?” you asked, half-amused, half-annoyed.

“From... from going anywhere. I can’t have you disappearing on me, can I?” she said, with a completely straight face.

You couldn’t help but smile. “I’m not going anywhere.”

“Exactly,” she said, nodding like she’d just made some big discovery. “So you’re staying with me. I don’t want you wandering off, getting lost, or... doing anything without me.”

You raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

“Really,” she replied, her tone serious as she tightened her grip around your waist. “Now sit still. I’m not letting you go.”

You sighed, leaning back into her. It was pointless to try and escape anyway.

“Well, I’m stuck with you now, huh?” you said, half-smiling.

“You sure are,” Gen said smugly, resting her chin on your shoulder. “And I’m not letting go anytime soon.”

Not gonna lie, I really love crossovers so one of my first thoughts while reading Clipped Wongs was ‘what would happen if canon verse bros met CC bros?’ I imagine Leo, Raph and Mikey would not take it well, even if they knew everything that happened was because of a curse

i think it would start out very appalling for all of the canonverse bros, mostly because so much has been like. aired out from the events that went down in CL and forward, pretty much all of them were GUTTED for all of the things theyve gone out of their way to keep hidden because of this. unveiled all of their little complexes. got their metaphorical entrails ripped out. they're going to come out stronger in some ways and more fragile in others, like i think they'll be a lot more communicative/close but there's a lot of soft spots. with donnie especially, although that's obvious

but after that i think they'd soften and be more understanding. canon donnie (cv? i'll just use cv for shortening purposes) would probably even reframe the way his OWN brothers see him, seeing how the pain they inflicted on cc!donnie experienced influenced them all. and i think it would be unnerving to see how they all look at him like they're looking at a ghost (cc!leo especially...). he never had his entire identity shattered, i think it would be difficult him for him to process the depth of that pain

and imo i feel like cv!leo would find cc!leo uhhhh Uncomfortable. like WAOW that is a little too close to home, too vulnerable, bro chill. ESPECIALLY if we're talking pre-movie (little tangent but i always think its weird when people make leo get super closed off after the movie in fic because it feels antithetical to like. the themes? whatever. i think it'd make sense for him to be a lot more open instead of hiding behind all the bullshit like before, although he has some new things to be stressed about. honestly i felt like the point of all of that pain was for him to be a better communicator)

cc!donnie would probably find the cv alternatives of them a lot more comfortable because its a glimpse of normalcy. i dont think they'd treat him like he's made of glass or get weird and overprotective, which is a trap his brothers in cc are going to fall into even long after things have blown over (theyd go so ballistic when he's hurt!). and i think they would know how to handle him a lot better because they're not clouded by this intense guilt-driven bias, although i think their demeanor would gentle exponentially the first time they see him freak out/have a flashback. its a fun thing to think about frrr

But yeah, Valentino thought Vox had it in the bag--now he believes that Alastor doesn't deserve death, but should be someone's bitch for eternity (he should have been Vox's, but seeing how the deer acts with Vox's stuff, he would probably like that). Velvette doesn't know what to think. She misses Vox terribly, and hates Alastor, and is very upset with Valentino for not going to Vox's distress call--she definitely would have gone, but wouldn't have made it in time as her true demon form doesn't have flight. Velvette basically did most of the work for all 3 sectors of the Vees while Alastor was punishing Valentino and Valentino's souls, and becomes friends with Niffty during those first 4 years. Once Alastor takes back the reigns and Val gets back to work, Velvette goes back to what she used to do too. Like things are mostly unchanged for her. (Mostly because she befriended Niffty and eventually Rosie. Her doing that saved her)

As for Vox's sector? His giant monitor room is clean by Niffty and is visited by Alastor once or twice a month, where Alastor ponders what Vox exactly did in the room. His office has been taken over by Alastor, his last ideas and drawings framed and safely kept in Alastor's bayou space. Vox's contracted souls continued to work for Voxtech...until a day after Alastor realized Vox was back, and that's when Vox gently pulled on their chains and called them to him. (Not like there was many left. Alastor did actually land a killing blow. Vox had to use some of his contracted souls to heal himself, destroying them in the process. But Vox lived, and that's what matters.)

Alastor does say I love you to the head he sleeps with in his bed! Also, I'm sorry, and I didn't mean too, and please come back to me. I'll be better. I'll never hurt you again, my love.

Vox does have PTSD. It's so bad that he has to take relaxation meds to go to the overlord meeting (since it's required for both allied overlords to show now) and Alastor will definitely be there, with his ally Rosie. It's fine though he has Husk.
