It's odd to think that Elizabeth Bennett and Fitzwilliam Darcy could watch the entirety of Hamilton and recognise all the characters and plot points from their childhood lessons

rewatching barbie now that it's on max
love the little detail of barbie living in the dot of i, which kinda reminds me of the good place, and how the dot above the i in jeremy bearimy was an isolated point of space-time
kinda like barbie's life 👀😌

More Time Duckery
If you're a Best Not to Speculate™️ fan, instead of a It's A Clue!™️ fan, please keep scrolling!
Tumblr media
*Please do not ask Neil about fan theories.*
So I've noticed many things in my rewatches and read tons of great metas. But I just realized something that adds to my belief of the weird Jeremy Bearimy time fuckery going on in Season 2.
I'm certain many of you have already noticed this, but I only watched the show a few months ago and my brain is utter chaos at any given moment, so bear with me:
We know that Mr. Brown is holding a newspaper with a very specific headline in Episode 2 at the pub. Even on my first watch of Season 2, I noticed the adorable duck and the headline.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And when he enters the bookshop for the "meeting"/ball, he isn't holding the newspaper. Fair. Why would he bring that? Isn't Episode 5 (the ball) happening on Thursday (I think), whereas Episode 2's events are at least a couple days prior?
Tumblr media
Why is it that when Nina walks in and interacts with him, he somehow has it? WHY?
Tumblr media
Why does he have it when he steps up to confront Shax??
Tumblr media
He is holding a chewed up/destroyed version the next morning outside the coffee shop when Crowley brings him back from wherever the demons took him.
Tumblr media
His outfit in this Episode 6 scene is also the same as Episode 2, but their clothing did change when they entered the bookshop for the ball. However, aren't Episode 2 pub scene and Episode 5 ball supposed to be on different days?????
Great meta here on Pub Guy/Hawaiian Shirt Guy who is one of the many odd extras this season and is seen wearing different outfits in the Episode 2 pub scene vs. the Episode 6 morning scene.
This is actually why I even noticed this in the first place. I recently wondered if Aziraphale ever gave the guests the books he promised them, and ended up going back to see if they walked out of the shop with the books - and they did. Out of the blue (because brainrot), I went from wondering why Mr. Brown was holding something when he wasn't given a book, to remembering his newspaper with the duck, to realizing that the pub scene was likely on a different day.
Please speculate away!
It's ok if you don't like metas - just ignore this! I'm interested in speculating, so I don't want to write this off as a continuity error. This is far more noticeable than some oddly specific things they discuss in BTS videos.

imo it’ll make the most sense for season 8 to not have many time jumps and to pick up exactly where they left off. i understand time jumps can be useful tools in progressing a story, but they’re gonna run into a problem if they want to have a time jump to progress a different storyline because it’ll just keep adding more and more time onto how long eddie and christopher will be separated for. and it’d get to a point where it doesn’t make logical sense like surely they won’t make it so he’s gone for more than just the summer right? right?? they can’t have a new school year start with christopher still in texas right?
obviously eddie and christopher’s relationship won’t be repaired overnight but in my head it makes sense for him to come back for mid season 8. so assuming season 8 has 18 episodes, that gives them 9 episodes to show eddie slowly start to regain christopher’s trust, realise the reality of his relationship with shannon and explore more sides of eddie’s character. and then for the rest of the season they can work through it together in person after they’ve both had time to process separately
but this is also 911 and the timeline is whack anyway so who knows

lucasfilm. lucasfilm we need to talk. again. your timeline does not work with the implications in the novels. you have these two pages in timelines:
Tumblr media
thus we have:
42bby: dooku leaves order; mandalorian clan wars begin
41bby: padawan: obi-wan's 'first' mission. lenahra visit. and dooku visiting temple, disparaging banquet hall:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
40bby: master & apprentice: mission to pijal. however. H O W E V E R this part of the novel exists:
Tumblr media
making the implication that dooku has not even been talking to the order, let alone visiting since leaving two years prior.
(not to mention the mandalorian clan wars/civil war placement is also wrong, as it has to take place after the trip to lenahra because kiersten white wrote it that way but that's allowed leeway from me because they at least used a circa)
publishing order is: master & apprentice —> dooku: jedi lost —> padawan, with claudia grey & cavan scott coordinating the events in their novels, so i'm more inclined to take the 2-year silence as accurate over dooku visiting in the year after his departure.
which is a long way to say that i'm excising that scene from padawan (thus leaving obi-wan to discover orla's map to lenahra as one of his regular visits to that dining hall) and kidnapping it to a couple years later for galaxies.

I don't watch The Bear and I can't ever remember the main actor's name except that his first name is Jeremy. So fortunately for him, my brain has dubbed him Jeremy Bearimy for the rest of all time.
