i can kinda see how from tfp starscream's perspective, he was maybe very justified in getting rid of megatron in the early eps. imagine ur boss disappears and leaves u and the coworkers you hate to hold the fort for like 3 years (NO overtime pay or additional benefits included), and when he finally comes back he tells u that the solution to all of the energy depletion issues that your species has been facing for the last millennia isn't to try and maintain the interplanetary resource extraction arrangement that your crew has set up and managed to make fairly successful for your short- and medium-term goals, but to desecrate the corpses on your dying planet by reviving them as shambling puppets using an untested substance which you are 99% sure is just cocaine (and which your boss also makes a show of injecting into his vital organs, RAW, just to prove a point). and he's still hung up about his ex. and somehow no one else agrees that the guy you're all working for has definitely lost some of his processor on the way back from deep space. funniest grounds for betrayal ever

Ratchet walked out of one the bases many storage rooms, data pad in hand. He had needed some information for one of his latest projects and was taking it back to his workstation. He could see the two humans Miko and Jack seemingly having an argument, from the sounds of it was rather passionate. Jack looked very done with the girls' usual antics and…. disgusted? Miko just had that special sort of smile she had when the human was causing chaos.

They didn't look his way when he came into the room. Getting closer to them the medic heard,

“-aying if you get rid of the energon transformers are completely edible.” Miko argued.

Jack angrily responded "How many times do we have to have this conversation?! We aren't making a Cybertronian murder cake!"

Ratchet only took less of a nanosecond to process what the hell he had just heard before he immediately turned back around and started walking away. He didn't know what the context of that conversation was and he didn't want to know.

As he exited the room he could hear arguments of what “theoretically" the best frosting for cybertronians they should use.

He walked faster.

man, i just KNOW that bulkhead would be the best with cuddling his human partner.

think about it. bulkhead is intensely aware of how big he is, and while that normally comes into play when he's destroying things, it also means that he knows how gentle he must be when it comes to his human. there's a good chance he'd let his human take control, set the boundaries, and let him know when things are going a bit too far.

that being said, who would even wanna stop cuddling with this dope? he's big, strong, and soft enough that cuddling him is like snuggling a huge, metal pillow. and he's a BIG hugger, always giving his friends bear hugs strong enough to lift them off their feet. with his favorite human, he'd be always eager to hold them, shower them with praise, and keep them safe in his arms. he's pretty much perfect for anyone who enjoys lots of physical affection.

now i need a hug from him, damn...

I got more Megatronus and Prima thoughts on my mind.

The Matrix reforges its chosen as it's an extension of Prima's own will. Light's Champions are a reflection of his lofty, narrow ideals as Prima burns everything away to ensure they represent him properly.

Megatronus (or at least my take of the Fallen in Aligned/TFP) wouldn't do that. Megatronus ensures choice. A hard one. A cruel one, even. But he doesn't remove the agency from his Champions. He tests the spirit and the capacity to endure their decisions. He doesn't remove their past. No, Megatronus isn't Light. He is the Great Shadow. He is honest in the way since he reflects instincts as well as fears, anxieties, regrets, passions, and rage.

If anything, I think he would force his prospectives into confronting their darkest truths and extreme selves before bestowing them the mantle of Prime. He won't give someone his power that will break when ruin comes.
