The first time Holger kissed you, you were quite sure neither of you were expecting it. It was after his first Masters 1000 win, his biggest achievement thus far in his professional tennis career. You hadn’t been dating for very long. In fact, you had only started just before the tournament which meant short quick dates before he was off to his matches, or little text messages and calls late in the day when he was laying in bed after hours of recovery. 

The timing also meant you hadn’t been able to do anything intimate yet, not even hold hands let alone have your first kiss as a couple. You didn’t mind, you were simply happy to have him, to know he was your boyfriend was enough, and soon you didn’t even expect it any more. 

When Holger got into the final of the tournament, you decided to have a little holiday and surprise him. You arrived only a few hours before the match started, and Aneke came to get you and take you to the stadium with her and Alma. They sat you between them and you bounced your leg, chattering nonstop in your nervousness and excitement. You wanted him to see you, you wanted to know his reaction already, but you had to wait a few more minutes before the players were announced. 

When Holger walked out, he didn’t look up toward his box at first. He looked out at the crowd, gave a few waves towards the areas that cheered the loudest, then stared straight ahead of himself. You could see the sharp-edged focus in his eyes, the hard quality that they got when his mind was on his tennis and nothing else. It made you shiver in delight. 

After he had set up his bench and gone to the net for the brief with the umpire and the mandatory pictures before every match, he happened to look across the court and in the direction of his box. You watched it like it was in slow motion with a giddy smile. The way his eyes slowly travelled up and into the box, to your figure sat snuggly between his mother and sister smiling brightly and giving him a small wave. The way he stood up straighter and his face relaxed a little and he began smiling wider, eyes crinkling and cheeks dimpling. He was so distracted that even the umpire could tell he was no longer paying attention and snapped his fingers in front of him to return his focus, asking what had caught his attention jovially. You hadn’t heard the interaction at the time, but a clip of the moment was posted all over the ATP instagram later. 

“What’s got you smiling like that, eh, Holger?” 

“Ah, I’m sorry, sorry, it’s just that my girlfriend surprised me and is here for the match,” and he gestured in your direction. The umpire congratulated him before telling him to focus and going over the last few things he said. 

Just before Holger went to go to the baseline to begin his warmup, he looked over at you with a big smile and waved. You held up a heart with your hands then blew him a kiss and smiled gleefully as he laughed all the way to the other side of the court. 

You watched the entire match on the edge of your seat, chewing on your lip and gripping Aneke’s arm every time the rally got a little long and the point could go either way. In the end, after a three set thriller, when everyone heard the “game, set, match, Rune” and he was laying flat on his back laughing and heaving in breaths of air, you screamed in excitement. You jumped up and clapped so loudly your palms turned red and began to hurt. Aneke and Alma squished you into a hug between them as you all celebrated and took pictures of Holger on the court. 

It was an hour later when you finally got to actually be with him. You had all gone down into the depths of the stadium which held all the training rooms and the locker rooms, and were waiting for the attendants to guide Holger back there. 

You kept rocking back and forth on your feet, looking excitedly to the door whenever there was a sound outside it before having to calm yourself down when someone other than your boyfriend appeared at the door. When he did finally show up, carrying his tennis bags over his arms and chatting happily with one of the younger attendants, you had to use every ounce of control in your body to stop yourself from running and jumping onto him. 

He was still a little red in the face and the hair on the back of his head was still dark with sweat but you were madly in love with the look. His hat still sat turned back but he had lost the sweatbands on his wrists and gained a towel thrown over his shoulder. 

When he got into the room, he dropped his bags on the floor with an exaggerated groan, blushing bashfully as everyone began to clap and cheer for him. He pressed a hand to his heart and nodded in thanks before walking over to the little group in which he resided. 

He hugged Aneke first, bending down to press his face into her shoulder as she rubbed his back and whispered in his ear. You understood the feeling. Nothing beat a mother’s hug, and though he was on such a big stage and it was hard to forget, he was only just out of his teen years. 

Then he turned to Alma who hugged him quickly before punching him lightly on the arm, and turning him so he was looking at you. You clasped your hands in front of you and beamed at him, hopping on your toes a little as he smiled brightly and came over to you. He was jogging in his excitement and you giggled when suddenly he stopped right in front of you, cupped your face in both his hands and kissed you. 

You gasped in a breath against his lips, closing your eyes and pushing yourself closer until his arms moved to rest over your shoulders so he could keep cupping your cheeks. You wrapped your arms around his torso, ignoring the slight dampness of his slowly drying sweat on his back. Your stomach and chest were filled with warmth and gentle little sparks of love and joy and all things happy and sweet. You pressed yourself impossibly closer and moved your lips to gently kiss his lower lip once, twice, and then a third time before pulling away. 

Holger looked almost dazed when he pulled away and slowly blinked his eyes open, wanting to kiss you again despite the audience you two had. You simply smiled and patted his chest to get him to move away a little bit. 

“If you keep kissing me like that then we’ll be making up for the past couple of weeks a little too quickly,” you whispered cheekily, licking your lips and looking up at him with shiny eyes. He just laughed and pecked you on the mouth again.

No wife leaves her matrimonial home by choice. It is only when it becomes next to impossible to adjust, and accommodate to the situation that the existence of self seems strangulating every day and home seems like a prison. A girl leaves her matrimonial home with the trust that the man with whom she is going will take care of her. The case I am sharing with you all today is of a wife who left her matrimonial home with two children after 8 years of marriage.

Present Writ seeks quashing of the order passed by the Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC Anekal directing the husband to pay maintenance of Rs.18000/- per month against prayed Rs. 36,000/- per month.

The petitioner is a wife who married in the year 2012 and had 2 children out of wedlock. The Respondent - Husband is working in the Canara Bank as a Manager in the Middle Management level Grade Scale II. The petitioner at the time of marriage was working as a lecturer and continued even after marriage. But when the couple had their first child his husband asked her to leave the job and take care of the child and when their second child was born, she completely left the job to exclusively concentrate on the upbringing of their children and the home.

All was well till the relationship turned sour and when she demanded maintenance from his husband.

Now the husband is saying the wife is qualified she is not willing to work and earn money instead she wants to live on the maintenance that the husband pays. He also alleged that she was not a dutiful wife. She is quarrelsome. His job is inconsistent as such can’t pay more than 18000/- per month. He has the responsibility of his old mother.

The High Court observed merely because the wife is qualified does not mean, she is barred from seeking maintenance. Every case has to be looked into by its facts. Taking care of the children does not at all mean taking care of the mere existence of the children. It is shrouded with countless responsibilities and necessary expenditures from time to time.

The wife as a homemaker and mother works round the clock indefatigably.

The respondent being a husband can’t contend that the wife is lazing around and not earning money to take care of the children. Being a homemaker is a full-time job. The job of the Respondent's husband has security of tenure. In the future, his salary will only grow and not reduce. His submissions are mischievous and misleading.

The High Court observed maintenance has to be adjudged according to the cost of living, and how the couple lived together with their children.

The High Court modified the order of Additional Senior Civil Judge & JMFC Anekal and allowed the maintenance of Rs. 36,000/- to the petitioner's wife.

yes, the title is cheesy, but I think I need to do this. I feel like during some waking moments I am constantly in search of something else. not that that's bad, probably that helps you to be better. but it's the lack of gratitude and content that I identified.

"RWBY / Justice League" - parallels

DC Comics published recently a crossover between Rooster Teeth's "RWBY" and the "Justice League". Written by Marguerite Bennett and Penciled by Aneke, I found the suggested parallels on the Covers interesting especially as some subtle WonderBat hints were thrown around as well.

In the "RWBY" World, the "Hunters and Huntresses" have special abilities akin to Superpowers that are called "Semblances"

On this picture you have Ruby Rose on the left paralleled to Diana on the right.

All Justice League members are local versions from that world but relatively easy to recognize. They have more or less variation of the Powers of their DC Comics counterparts. Diana for example keeps her "made of clay" origins but without Greek Gods she is rather described as some kind of magically build "Automaton" with a Soul. Her "mothers" are all female Faunus (a local race having various animal features) living on a retired Island.

Here you have on the left Weiss Schnee paralleled to Bruce Wayne on the right.

Unlike Weiss Schnee, Bruce isn't Human, he is a Faunus just as Diana's "mothers" and has ... Bat ears ! ... he seems to have some lesser sonic related powers even if these aren't considered a "Semblance".. Bruce's Intellectual and Deductive skills are his Semblances. If you ask yourself why Weiss Schnee would be paralleled to Bruce ... here's a hint :

Yeah, there are some similarities between the two.. XD

So it looks as if the RWBY, all female Hero team, was paralleled to the Justice League members with :

- Ruby Rose / Princess Diana : Courageous, Selfless, Top level Fighter, Strength, Speed,

- Weiss Schnee / Bruce Wayne : Rich, "Works Incredibly ridiculously hard ... they (the academy) have to come up with like Platinum and Palladium and Osmium medals because Gold doesn't even cut it anymore..." Ruby's description of Weiss Schnee from "RWBY" Issue #1 and fits Bruce Wayne just as perfectly.

- Yang Xiao Long / Clark Kent (?) : both can throw a very mean punch...

- Blake Belladonna (a Faunus) / Jessica Cruz (?): my guess is Blake is gonna be paralleled with Jessica Cruz because she can create shadow clones of herself out of nothing similar to the Green Lantern ring's power of creation... Jessica will surely appear in a later Issue.

How come everyone seems to understand the magic of "WonderBat" kind of pairings and teases about it but DC just never even let Diana and Bruce try it out ?

It reminded me of an old story making an obvious parallel between a a woman named Ri and a man named Yang for one and Diana and Bruce for the second only to imply strong romantic feelings between Diana and Bruce by mixing both pairs (Ri and Bruce) on the Cover of #53 :

Cole has given me a lot trouble playing around with his silly explosive gadgets on someone else. It’s possible I could use my magic on him but as his older cousin, it’s not my intention to do anything harsh. Oh well, at least my scolding technique made him to behave

Surely Blackburn did his job well on my behalf except his attitude and carelessness of running into fights with Savanclaws is not acceptable excuses!!! I couldn’t believe his seat arrangement was next to mine. Good grief......

I heard much rumors as I recall from my hometown that Hunter seems to be the descendant of the greatest hunter. His appearances and behavior are a like. It’s honestly not surprising that he attended this prestigious college. I would like to know him better if he doesn’t…...KEEP LOSING MY SIGHT!

Clinton & Cole:

I do not trust that Brantley. There is no proof that he and Ferdrick were related but if it were true, I still would not acknowledge Cole for his wackiness that easily. That first year student thinks his way of working should be playful. He had constantly ruined my days of hardwork on purpose, I know of it.

I don’t like how he almost took all my inventions away from me just because I only scribbled faces his mini trains. Clinton’s being selfish and a BIG meanie to me. If Clinton didn’t give my stuff back, I’ll be more meanie to him by throwing a poisonous bomb in his room

Eb & Hunter:

that Hunter guy……I got no complaints about him but the way he talks, I couldn’t catch up what he’s sayin’. It’s kinda infuriating. He seems harmless that makes me wanna spare him. It’s not like I’m jealous of his physiques......

Its the World Photography day on the 19th of August .. and the ever efficient and an Encyclopedia of my events and pictures, Moses, sends me all possible postures with the camera ..

.. for many it may just be pictures but there is a story behind some of them ..

.. thats Kathmandu , Nepal during the shoot of the song ‘pyaar mein dil pe maar de goli, lele meri jaan ‘ .. used to carry my own camera and recording equipment to keep a record, since the media had banned me and no pictures or records were being kept by them .. 😫

.. the multiple camera shoot for face replacement .. you rotate on a stool and all these cameras go off successively , and then all your actions movements being recorded to replace your face on film, through some complicated technology  .. dangerous times for all actors for they can replace your face with another .. नौकरी ख़तरे में  है 

.. getting the little fellow to use a camera with flash gun .. little realising that in time he would be teaching me the ropes of how to take pictures on the iPhone .. its his birthday I think

.. a birthday at Prateeksha indoors .. probably Babuji .. the flower set up the sweet meats on the table by the side and Dada ji in his best dressed kurta !!

How the camera has progressed with time and invention .. and how fortunate am I to have seen its progress through the years and now getting ready for AI and the next level of generational visual imagery ..

Gone the days of Kodak and film processing .. waiting for the results to come after days from the photographers stall .. such poetic romance of the wait .. what will it look like , how will the colours and expressions be the framing all guess work .. and NOW .. hehahah .. 

The times of patient wait expectation and unknown results gone .. the mystery gone .. in almost all walks of life  ..

Gentle efforts are on to move about a bit .. to walk to breathe the lungs to change the environ .. gently but slowly .. avoiding extreme exhaustion or any exhaustion .. for the weakness shall persist for months they say .. despite the testing Covid (-) and despite the build up in the blood of immunity factors .. 

Its a guessing game still .. not one patented treatment has been regulated .. its a try hit and miss world .. prayers though for the medical world to come up with solutions for the benefit of mankind .. its been terrible these months and who knows what is to follow .. 

The virtual world is flourishing .. all work continues facetimed and whatsapped .. in fact many business heads find it convenient and cost effective .. 

Work for the professionals like your truly are being worked on and the time and energy spent on making the environ covid free is a task .. all kinds of routines have been and are being set up .. there is greater talk and presentation on this than the actual work .. 

What times we see .. and wonder what else time holds for us ..

Rain Plays SWTOR: Macrobinoculars Solo (most of it) - Imperial Pt. 1

Buoyed by Viri's success soloing the Seeker Droid questline, I decided to tackle the Macrobinoculars.  Please note: THE END OF THIS MISSION IS STILL NOT SOLOABLE. There is apparently one sequence in the final H4 where you need several people to click all the panels. However, the rest is soloable. If you want some challenging gameplay or something new to do in the game, there's still a lot to do here without tackling the final H4.  Also note that even if you do not finish the final H4, as long as you do NOT abandon the quest, you can keep using your macrobinoculars. In fact, you can do that as soon as you pick them up in the beginning of the quest line. There are other quests and achievements you can do with the macrobinoculars, such as scanning all the MCR-99 droids on each planet, scanning the temples you can see from the Yavin 4 stronghold and doing GSI dailies on several worlds. 

If you enjoy puzzles, you will love this questline. If not, there are thankfully several guides that can walk you through each puzzle. If you remember one thing, it's that everything can be a trap, you need to check the walls, ceilings and anything around for clues/clickables to proceed, and the solution that appears straightforward probably is not.  Once again, I defer to Dulfy for walkthroughs and videos on how to beat the puzzles, and give you additional suggestions.  This is Part I of the guide, and it is specific for Imperial-side players.  Your first task with the macrobinoculars is to scan the Shroud's monitoring devices around the galaxy. It's far easier than the Dread Seeds search. If you've played the Ziost daily area, the Ossus daily area or some of the Onderon quests, you've already used macrobinoculars.  If this is your first time with the macrobinoculars- right click to activate the binoculars (they are in your mission items tab. You can also drag them to a quickbar, which is a good idea to get to them quickly). Once you activate the binoculars, you can scroll around to survey the area. Targets that are scannable will light up yellow. Left click to zoom in and scan. Click again to zoom out. ESC to put away your binoculars. 

You’ll start by being asked to scan several locations marked on your map. Move your camera around until you see a yellow blinking item (it may or may not look like the example) and then zoom in to scan.  Dromund Kaas - scanning - QT to Tempest. One objective is down at the Unfinished Colossus and the other is on one of the nearby lightning spires. - QT to the Spaceport.  - QT to the Nexus Room cantina, and then walk over to the launchpad for the nearby taxi. You'll get a good view from there.  Shroud of Ruin temple How to get there: Pick up the Shadow Spawn heroic and use the provided shuttle/QT. The temple you need is all the way in the back of that heroic area. There are a few jumps to get to the right level of the temple but they aren't too bad overall. There's no threat of death or even damage if you fall and have to try again. 

There are only two obstacles in this temple but the first can be frustrating. After you click a rock on the ceiling (mouse around to find it), some of the grids will periodically blink off and on (this is very slow- they don’t blink rapidly, if that is a concern. They go off, stay off for a few beats and then go back on). Make your way through the grid to get to the other side without touching the lasers. Touching the lasers is insta-death. Fortunately the respawn point/ medical droid is just upstairs from the grid so you don't have far to go if you get zapped. Tips: 1. Send your companion away. Put them on a crafting mission for ten minutes or so. They will not be able to follow you through the grid at your pace, so they'll just hit one of the lasers and die.  2. No fancy jumps, no rocket boost, no flair. Do NOT get too close to the lasers, and watch where you are running and jumping. 3. In some places, only one or two lines of the grid will flicker off. Be really careful walking through.  4. Once you finish the maze, you can turn it off completely by smashing the console you will see, but it’s really not necessary because you are almost done. It’s still cathartic to smash it.  

The droid you have to face at the end of the hallway should be a snap. It's a garden variety NPC that doesn't seem much more complicated than the average silver, and he's on his own.  You will then be sent off to scan targets on two more planets.  Ambush Warning:  After scanning targets on any of the planets from this point onward, you may be ambushed. It could be a droid and an enemy NPC that is found on that planet (rakghouls on Taris; a Wampa on Hoth). It could also be a gold-level droid, IR-77. I don't think it's a jump scare, but it's very sudden, so I'll mention it here. 

Taris scanning: 

- QT to 75th Legion Forward Camp. - QT to Crater Command Base. You can get to both of the targets in Olaris from here.  - QT to Toxic Lake Garrison. This is the base you start at when you land on Taris so you shouldn't need to QT there, but it has a quick travel point in case you've done the others first.  Tatooine scanning:  A few of the target points are challenging to get to for Imperial players.  - Mos Ila, relatively close to the taxi. There's a QT point there if you need it.  - QT to Outpost Varath or Outpost Rennar, it's about halfway between the two, near the area with the Tusken Raiders and Mandalorian corpses.  - QT to Mos Anek. Very close to the Lady of Pain area from the Bounty Hunter's class story.  - QT to Outpost Zaroche. Unfortunately, the next target is in the Outlaw's Den. There's no way to see it from outside this area. I've read more than once that if you are on the PvE server, nobody can hurt you in the Outlaw's Den. Your companion will go away, but there's apparently no PvP. Still, I have had no way to confirm this firsthand, so I'd get in and out.  - From there, continue through the Outlaw's Den to the north side and follow the road (filled with hostile NPCs unfortunately) to the mining company for the northernmost target.  - QT to Ridgeside Sentry Post. You have a ways to go from here, but it's the closest Imperial travel point. Take the righthand road north at the fork. The lefthand side is more straightforward but goes through an area with a lot of Twin Suns enemy NPCs. The target is under the rock bridge near the Twin Suns.  Quesh scanning: Quesh is small enough that you don't have to travel long to get just about anywhere, but here are the QT points in case you need them.  - QT to Imperial Garrison OR Imperial Outpost. The target is about halfway between them in an area where a lot of the Imperial Quesh quests happen.  - QT to Imperial Outpost.  - From the second target, you will see a very small dotted line path that goes through a power plant. The first section has Republic hostile NPCs but the second section is friendly. This will take you to the other side of the map to get the third target.

Scratch the Surface - Quesh How to get there: As Dulfy notes, the map may be bugged. This is the map I got. As you see, the entrance is indicated all the way over on the far right. It's not there. QT back to the Imperial Garrison. The map should change. You need to climb the hill just outside the Garrison and follow the narrow, maze-like path through the stone walls to reach the instanced area.

Once inside, remember everything is a trap and the solution usually is not straight combat or avoidance. There's always something clickable around that will help you get past each obstacle. 

To throw the fruit at the Lurker, click on the gate panel.  The key to getting past this electrified floor is to hit the panels on the ceiling that light up as clickables. After that, the floor will still electrify, but in a very predictable order. 

This is the only panel on the first section of grid that will not be electrified. It's easy to spot because of the debris on it. Follow the electricity's pattern so you know when it's clear to run. Once you're there, mouse around the ceiling again for the second clickable panel.

This is the panel on the second section of the grid that is not electrified. Again, it's easy to spot because there's stuff on it. After this, you will need to follow the pattern of the electricity and make a break for the hallway. 

You need to shut down the grid to proceed. However, if you step on the platform, you'll get shocked. Walk around the room to the back, where you will see a way to get under the panel. DO NOT WALK ON IT YET. Mouse around and you will find there's a panel that is clickable. Clicking on it will cut the electricity on the floor, allow you to walk in and shut down the second panel. Now you can go on the platform and shut down the grid.  Pictured is STEP THREE. Do not go on this platform until you cut the power from underneath!

Then, it’s off for more scanning.  Corellia - The first two are close to the spaceport and Incorporation Islands QT point.  - QT to Axial Park South.  - QT to Imperial Central Command (two are here) Hoth  - Very close to Dorn Outpost, where you start out on Hoth. - QT to Thesh Outpost.  - QT to Imperial Garrison.  - QT to Jagged Hills Imperial Garrison, which is the northernmost Imperial travel point. From there, go left until you get to the Drift Hills Republic base and then north along the path. It's close to Republic Aurek Base.  - From the point above, go to the right on the marked path. You want to be heading toward Outpost Cresh. When the road has a fork on the righthand side, take that, going south. The point you're looking for is under one of the bridges. 

- QT to Frostwake Outpost and then go to the Starship Graveyard.  - QT to Leth Outpost. It's very close to the base.  Belsavis - QT to Imperial Frontline Camp.  - QT to one of the outposts close to the Rakatan Transport network (Frontline Camp and Imperial Deep Launchpoint both work). Take the Rakatan Transport to the Imperial Power Center Transport.  - From the point above, after you scan, go right back to the Rakatan Transporter. Take it to the Lower Prison Magma Transport stop. Follow the circular path to the Tomb and then find your path to the target from there. You want to do the Lower Prison Magma Transport target scan last because it will place you in just the right area for the next part of the questline.
