ik it’s been probably over a year since c!Quackity lost his second canon life and i’m sure i’m not the only one to think of this but here me out:

i like to think that Q’s wings are perfectly capable of flight. However, i believe that in the Manberg era, Schlatt clipped his wings so he couldn’t fly. However, after a lot of time and pain they grew back and he could fly again. After all, we see him fly when he meets Charlie.

So you may be asking yourself: if he could fly, why would he let himself fall to his death? And to that i say-

He damaged his wings trying to save Slimecicle.

When he dove into the lava to save Slime, his wings were burned. He sacrificed his wings for a chance at saving the person who would eventually kill him. And that sacrifice, which was in vain mind you because he didn’t save Slime, is why he couldn’t save himself.

Any Twinsduo headcanons? (I'm a simple guy ok-)

*cracks knuckles* - Personally I like twinsduo as biological twins and not, but for the purpose of my whack ass Wilbur species HCs I'll say they'd be adoptive siblings. But they are the same age and have the same birthday, which is why they're twins (according to Wilbur) - However if twinsduo were to be biologically related, Wilbur would be the one with the unnatural hair color (dyed brown) because it's funny - In theory Wilbur adopted Techno more than Phil did. She got lost in the nether only to come back to Phil with a little piglin trailing behind her, I like to think she pulled a "Can we keep him? 🥺" And the rest is history - Wilbur is genderqueer and Techno is agender, whenever it comes up Wilbur claims they "took all of the gender in the womb" (Which, as Techno always points out, is not even remotely the case) - Piglins display affection via light headbutts (more like a forehead tap than anything) keyword: light, young piglins often have to learn to rein in their enthusiasm a little bit, even moreso with other species. Point being, Techno has absolutely accidentally broken Wilbur's nose at least once with a head bonk when they were little - Both Wilbur and Techno have the capacity to infodump but usually Techno is the one doing most of the listening (half-listening more often than not but shhhh) Techno usually waits until Wilbur tires himself out to ramble, when they were kids Wilbur would fall asleep to Techno's ramblings before bed. Sometimes Techno would ramble to help Wilbur fall asleep during pogtopia - They get into debates fairly regularly about political theory. People think they're arguing (and they are) but they're usually having fun, though they rarely if ever come to any sort of actual understanding on account of how stubborn they both are /lh - When they do argue they're known to quickly devolve into roughhousing (at least when their arguments are more lighthearted) Techno almost always beats Wilbur's ass but Wilbur can never pass up the challenge - Wilbur gained a fondness for poetry from Techno (I like to think Techno enjoys writing in his spare time :3) - Techno was selectively mute for awhile there when he was small, Wilbur picked up sign to speak with him better. They still sign to eachother from time to time (partially for the secrecy and partially because Wilbur's hearing isn't too good from the explosions)

I’ve been thinking about the first part of the DSMP finale quite a lot recently, so let me ramble about it and, more specifically, the decisions c!Punz makes there, and why they might of done that.

So far, I’ve seen three main theories about why c!Punz decided to revive c!Dream in front of c!Tommy and c!Tubbo, thereby destroying their cover. The first is that c!Punz just panicked and wanted to bring c!Dream back as fast as possible, damn the consequences. The second is that c!Punz and c!Dream already planned all of this out and they decided together that c!Punz didn’t have to stay in the shadows any longer. The third is that c!Punz decided that they were just going to betray the plan if one more thing went wrong out of spite and concern for both themself and c!Dream, and this was the last straw. I like all three of these for different reasons, so let’s go through them one by one.

Option One: Desperation and panic. c!Punz freaked out and revived c!Dream as soon as they found out. The second c!Dream’s back, he’s also panicking, so they’re both freaking out while trying to seem calm and collected. c!Tommy and c!Tubbo are completely oblivious to this because of course they are.

Perks/Evidence:

It’s fun (and a little angsty, but that’s not the main thing)

There’s plenty of silly little headcanons for this (including the one post that I can’t find anymore about c!Dream falling down the stairs because he was disoriented)

c!Dream would probably go along with it and pretend it was completely fine/supposed to happen

It’s the simplest solution, and the one easiest inferred from the stream

Cons:

Would c!Punz really do that, knowing how much they’ve given up for this and how level-headed they are?

Why wouldn’t c!Punz just send c!Tommy and c!Tubbo on their way instead of telling them that c!Punz had something to show them?

Option Two: Calm, calculated planning. c!Dream and c!Punz planned everything out, including the reveal of c!Punz’s true allegiances and c!Dream’s revival (and potentially his death as well). Neither of them are panicking (or, at least, they’re not panicking as much as they would in option 1). Presumably, c!Punz doesn’t need their cover anymore, perhaps because the plan is almost at the end. c!Tommy and c!Tubbo are still oblivious to everything going on, because they always are.

Perks/Evidence:

c!Dream and c!Punz getting exactly what they wanted despite making extremely questionable decisions and essentially losing, which always felt suspicious to me

Staged duo’s whole thing being staging things and making victories feel like crushing defeats

c!Punz having the revival book set up and ready to spring, as well as essentially having a whole speech planned

c!Dream has before (and would again) sacrifice a life or two for a plan

It could of been a rainy day plan for if c!Dream lost his last life, which would make the whole theory make more sense

Cons:

Why would they do this? What’s the reasoning behind this? What are they trying to accomplish (besides maybe blowing up the world, fixing whatever is wrong with it, or having previously figured out that the nukes would somehow erase people’s memories and trying to get that to happen)?

The logistics. All of them. What else do I have to say?

Option Three: Spite. It’s the last straw for c!Punz, who has had to go along with c!Dream’s plans and self-destructiveness (especially after what happened with Las Nevadas), and they decide that, damn it all, they’re going to blow their cover to force c!Dream into going along with this. c!Punz knows what’s going on but no one else is, including c!Dream. (I don’t think I explained this very well, so go read this canon-compliant oneshot setting this up if you want more context. It’s really good)

Perks/Evidence:

It gives c!Punz more agency, which is always a good thing

It has c!Punz and c!Dream be on different pages and adds conflict between them, which is interesting and angsty

c!Dream would definitely go along with it and pretend this was all part of his plan

It gives c!Punz a reason to revive c!Dream in front of Clingy Duo instead of just waiting until they were gone

As above: It gives c!Punz a relatively plausable reason to blow their cover

It incorporates c!Punz’s internal conflicts and besetting sin of anger, which neither of the others do

Cons:

There’s literally no evidence for this, I just think it’s interesting and angsty

I personally like all three of these, but I think the first makes the most sense, even though c!Dream getting what he wanted despite being outsmarted and killed and having one of his allies outed seems really suspicious. However, I think that the other two are very interesting to explore and I want to use them in fanfiction now, so I’m probably going to do that sometime and you’re not going to see me for three months.

👽 A headcanon about a weird quirk of there mmmm c!tommy with braids my belovedddddd. i do it, so he does it to. whenever he gets anxious or fidgety, he just plucks out the front few strands of his hair and just starts teisting or braiding them. over and over, undoing and doing htem again, just to keep himself grounded and his hands occupied. he also adresses every bee he meets as if htey're ctubbo's messenger, calling them a big man and trying to leash them. oh and when he picks flowers, he comes up with whole backstories for each one :333

Summary: He must have thought he was stepping into a fun night in the dark, with infrequent, delusional communication on Ranboo’s end that could be explained away as a natural phenomenon or a prank.

Ranboo knows, if the board had spelled out any other name, Tommy would have laughed it off.

If it spelled “Tubbo,” they would laugh about him being stuck at home, writing an essay illuminated by a harsh desk lamp. Nowhere near this room unless he hid in Ranboo’s bulky backpack or the pockets of Tommy’s oversized trench coat.

If it spelled something random like “George Washington,” Tommy would have scoffed and whined about it not being ‘Gogy’ instead. Raving over how much he would love to have a late-night chat with him even if it was through a stupid Ouija board.

But the board spelled “Wil,” and Tommy took that as a cruelly placed joke or an active attack on what little personal information he shared when confiding in a new friend. And if Ranboo's bound to be seen as a fraud and a prankster in his discipline, then it will be on his own terms.

My random ramblings as the author:

On many occasions, I will binge watch Buzzfeed's Unsolved Supernatural series on YouTube. That's the 2 guys ghost hunting on YouTube where one is a believer and the other is a skeptic (that's as much if a summary I can give if you've never watched their stuff or the Watcher's Ghost Files. I just got to have something that I half-listen to in the background so I'll rewatch it.

As I was tuning in and out of the show, I ended up thinking of a funny dsmp au? I don't think I can highlight how much I didn't expect to think of this idea. Ever. I still can hardly believe that I'm writing a sequel, even though it's in my drafts.

You can likely see the link between "ghost seeing c!Ranboo fanfic where he hides the fact that he can see Ghostbur from c!Tommy" and "ghosthunter youtube series." So I don't see much to explain there.

But my friend likes to point out how much of a loser that I wrote C!Ranboo as? He has three friends in this one and two of them are new. It mainly stemmed from the idea/headcanon(?)of his character as a "people-pleaser" and finding it difficult to deny people asking for help. When these people are dead spirits who notice that c!Ranboo can see and help them, they're VERY desperate.

He's helping out all these spirits by helping them rest, but helping them means they leave him (he's basically helping c!Mumza/Goddess of Death without her knowing). He's left with a small number of people and little time/skill to make friends with living people.

I also really like c!Ranboo's disconnect from sbi. I got to ignore the feels and reflection about Ghostbur by hiding in c!Ranboo POV. But now I gotta go write the sequel... a c!Tommy POV that you know is gonna have some angsty, complicated feelings towards whatever happened to c!Wilbur for them to have Ghostbur.

okay so like. bad used to pretty much be a god. I still haven’t fully fleshed out my headcanons on godhood on the DSMP (I want to tho) but gist is that bad used to be the nether guardian before he ditched his role to be with skeppy instead. he used to be buddy-buddy with DXD! but DXD was and still is the top-dog in terms of godhood. so bad still worshipped him, even with his position as nether guardian. his relationship with DXD became complicated ever since he left, because well. he likes skeppy more? like he’s more dedicated to skeppy than he ever was to DXD. not to mention the fact that DXD hates him for leaving (and for choosing to dedicate himself to skeppy rather than him) so like. bad still has the sort of like … instinct ? in him to worship DXD but also DXD torments him whenever possible because he hates him with a burning passion. so like. bad’s religion is very complicated to me okay and that’s not even bringing up the egg and I really wanna type up a whole thing on all this now

man where do I even begin this guy is so so scared. he’s rlly scared of DXD, that’s a big one. he’s also very obviously afraid of experiencing consequences for his actions <3 I’m actually kinda struggling to think of a good long response for this one uhmmm if he heard about slenderman he would be so so so scared. OH OH OH also when he’s scared he gets comforted by being in small spaces, which is why he tends to box himself in when he’s scared !! yeah !!!

Quackity and Wilbur so obsessed with their rivalry that they will literally brawl on the ground over who gets to help Tubbo or Tommy and meanwhile the person they’re fighting over is being actively hurt more every second. Both of them genuinely care about the kids - I would believe that either of them might even sacrifice themself for them. But what they can’t bear to do is let the other one be more important than them, either in power or in the hearts of the people they think of as theirs.

If there was a situation where one of them needed to be sacrificed to save Tubbo or Tommy, I think either one of them would kill the other themself before letting them be the one to make that sacrifice.

There are a lot of posts going around with guidelines for new tumblr users, but honestly? The best advice I could give would be to lurk before you post.

Make your blog, change your icon and description so people know you aren’t a bot, and spend a week or two familiarizing yourself with the site before you make your intro post. Maybe reblog some art, get a feel for the tagging system and how other people use it. Get to know the search function. Learn some of the in-jokes and memes. Get used to the posting style.

Also, if you ever plan to use the site on desktop, install xkit or xkit rewritten. Trust me on this one. It improves the user experience a thousand percent. I especially recommend the One-Click Postage and PostBlock features.

🔥 dream smp lore

So I got into the lore during Tommy and Techno's team up. Racconinnit forever.

Btw I'm gonna miss some things in my breakdown but here we go:

L'manburg era: excellent, amazing, fun and angsty storytelling. Sure the whole thing was an amateurish Hamilton rp via Minecraft but it was new and interesting and happened at the high of lockdown while everyone with a knowledge of the craft needed something to watch.

Doomsday: amazing, more angsty storytelling and was poetically the end of an era both in the lore and in the world as lockdown restrictions were lifted around the same time. (Also the funniest shit to happen on a day when an actual government resurrection was happening)

Egg lore + Sam Bucket: AMAZING, beautifully tragic and well written. I remember making red icing for cookies the day of the Banquet. The entire cast had a lot of love for the story and I hope the dsmp2 happens so we can get Red Velvet as the Egg. (As an Empires watcher I still believe there's some connection with Xornoth but that's a personal headcanon)

Exile: some people made it darker than it was. Most of them trying to paint Dream as a pedo and a rapist because they probably secretly shipped the two. Those people can kindly fuck off.

Prison + Disk finale: that prison was scary. I distaste Redstone with a passion and Sam put his whole creepussy into it. Loved Techno just getting caught and vibing with Dream. Also knew it was staged before the reveal.

Revive/Death book: lost its grip in the end. Dream XD and Foolish carried obviously.

Ranboo: UNTAPPED POTENTIAL! I was a ranboo lorehead. Wanted some sort of Bill Cipher and Ford Pines kinda thing with him and Dream but spineless enderboy couldn't keep up with his fans wanting to cancel him for every interaction he had so he used scheduling as an excuse

Las Navadas: also amazing. Also interesting. Quackity was a tragic character of his own undoing.

TOTSMP: super cool and well done. Beauitful cinematics and funny one off characters. Came back only for one episode because they lost a major player. Willing to purchase it in comic form if that's what Karl is doing.

In general, the bigger arcs were the best bits of lore. It was the smaller stuff that got lost imo. If you couldn't keep up with the big plots you got lost in it.

All the characters and lore were unique and I truly loved and enjoyed the majority of the smp. Again it was the fans that ruined it not the ccs. Techno's death is the majority reason why the dsmp died imo. As was the end of lockdown and drantis. I am open to a dsmp2 with new characters (Sylvee, Velvet, Gumi, anyone who is friends with Dream and plays minecraft). But I doubt that will happen this year. Hope for next year though.

When I first joined the fandom I thought that c!Niki, c!Jack and c!Fundy were all siblings and the kids of Sally and c!Wilbur. And while that's wildly inaccurate and will probably get me yelled at by their character enthusiasts, it's a fun headcanon that I've grown attached to, and kept in PitDD.

Baking obviously, but she's also good at foraging (can tell which mushrooms/berries are edible, medicinal or poisonous) and can pretty readily lift sacks of flour almost as heavy as her.

I think pumpkinduo is a tragic story in that Quackity would have been exactly what Schlatt needed. Quackity is sure of himself, enthusiastic, he has a strong moral compass, and he has endless love and support to give those he cares about. But Schlatt refused to show any vulnerability and ask for help, he blocked out everything Quackity could have offered him in place of antagonizing and dismissing him. He took the option of being vulnerable as an insult, any question of his actions to be a direct attack that couldn’t have possibly come out of a place of loving concern.

And Quackity both then and as his story went on was always looking for someone he loved and loved him back. If feels like he knew what he was attempting to do was hopeless the whole time, yet still held out hope until it became glaringly obvious if he kept it up he’d continue to be on the wrong side of history. The way he spoke to Schlatt in their last confrontation always felt off to me. It feels to me like he hasn’t fully accepted they’re going to kill Schlatt yet. That he’s trying to, if not attempt to safe him one last time, just prove he did in fact care about him.

While no, I don’t think the way c!Schlatt was handled was very well thought out at all. He’s very much a stereotypical alcoholic. I do think it’s a sweet idea to perceive c!Quackity as a person trying to support his recovery. Even if he never did recover in the story.

💔 An angsty headcanon

George had always had a difficult life, even if it never was something you’d expect from a man as relaxed as he was. One of the few humans left in the world (well, mostly human, at least), he spent his life on the run from people who made a living out of collecting such rarities for wealthy patron, he'd became an assassin just to protect himself.

After failing to assassinate and, oddly enough, becoming friends with Dream, George used his skills for more enjoyable endeavours, and made a life for himself, playing insanely risky but fun games with his friends and knowing he'd always be protected. It was his lifeline… and after it fell apart, he had nothing to go back to other than his own mind. He sleeps because he doesn’t really have anything else he wants to do, anymore.

ok genuine question would you guys want me to like. Make a seperate tag for the more angsty bug stuff so you can block it and not have it go into the main Bug tagged stuff because im realizing it might be a bit intense for some ppl (this would also probably apply to like, if i decide to talk about other DSMP headcanons of a similar caliber in the future which I do plan on not just limited to Bug/Beeduo stuff. Also i will NOT be putting it on like, posts about the pregnancy + breastfeeding unless they have something serious going along with them.
