The Mandalorian sighed as he finally sat on the ground, resting after a full day of work and pretending he didn’t hear the way his joints creaked. The Razor Crest was a hardy little thing, but that didn’t mean repairs weren’t always a special kind of challenge. If not for the fact Anibi was there to help him, he probably would’ve ended up annoyed beyond all reason at how long it took him to do this on his own (and, subsequently, wasted quite a bit of time sulking).

They’d be finishing the last of the work tomorrow once a special delivery of parts arrived, so for now, the Mandalorian afforded himself a break-- a break that the Child seemed happy to take advantage of, immediately bounding up to him with a pack of jerky he couldn’t seem to open on his own. He opened the packet and offered the kid a piece, which he happily took before plopping his behind onto his lap.

And the Mandalorian pat him on the head, murmuring a quiet ‘thank you’ for how behaved he’d been today.

As Anibi sat by him, the Mandalorian didn’t question it, turning instead to face her with a small nod of the head. She deserved his thanks too, as she always did every time she brought the Razor Crest back from the brink of destruction, but just as he opened his mouth to say it, he felt a sudden weight over his hand.

Glancing downwards, he remained silent. He wasn’t sure what to say-- frankly, moments like these were few and fleeting in his life-- but Anibi was a friend, and she was a friend he appreciated quite a bit.

So without a word, he returned her grip. And finally, finally, he said: “Thank you for helping me again today.”

Making up Ubese words

My muses Anibi (and her daughter Kato) are Ubese, and there is really not much reference for the Ubese language at all except that one scene in ROTJ. So I made up a couple words, sort of based on what I heard in the movie. Boushh/Leia says ‘yatoccha’ which C3PO interprets as agreement. So I cosnider ‘yatoccha’ a formal ‘yes/I agree’ and ‘ccha’ is an informal yes. Words that I made up: ccha - yes (informal) plo’ch - please mado - mother addo - father

The voice from behind the door is muffled, but in no time at all, Oberyn pulls it open, and his gaze upon this stranger makes it clear who he’d been addressing. His trousers are fastened, his robes hanging off his shoulders undone, and behind him in bed the woman he’d had for the night is sighing, on her back with her hands at either side of her head and his spend a pool on her belly.

He is done, and if he means to be present later on for his duties, he ought to be returning to his lodgings for the night.

But the shadow beneath the doorway had left him curious, and now he steps out of the room entirely and shuts the door, alone with this stranger in a hall lit only by a few, sparse torches.

“I have to say,” he muses, tying his robe back around himself, “you’re the first woman I’ve ever met to do such a thing.”

So i was doing research if the significance of the chacal or fox in cultures and i came cross of the ancient egypt significance and surprise the chacal is represented in anubis the god of death in the ancient egypt.

And according to the mythology anibis was a god that weighed the hearts of the dead with a feather and if the heart weigh lees than the feather he can pass to the underworld, if the heart weigh more than the feather he purifies the heart.

And i the idology of deku now is like this or i am overthinking this.

Anibi stared at him, waiting for him to laugh and say ‘just kidding!’ When that didn’t happen, well, she didn’t know what to say. She would be lying if she said she hadn’t felt something for him, now and then. It never occurred to her before that he might return those feelings. How or why, she had no idea. “...why? I mean- y’could have like, any human female you wanted.” By which she meant, nicer woman, ones that weren’t gruff and solitary, who showed their faces and actually trusted people. Women who weren’t all beat up and ugly like her.

Daario knew she probably wouldn’t believe him, but it was true. Ever since they had reunited on this new job, all he had been able to think about was her. Of course there were women who worked around there that had swooned and sighed over him. That didn’t matter though. All he could see was her.

“Maybe I could, but I want you, Anibi. I know that’s hard to believe. You have your things that you’ve gone through, but I wish you could see that I was being genuine.”
