got a question about raids and drop rates of stuff~~ Tired posting hope it's not too vague~~
when you unlock 6 star raids, and actually win one, are the drops the same for all players the first time? Or have I just got really lucky?
Or how rare are ability patches? Got one and idk if I should sell it or use it on my anihilape.
Used an anihilape for 5 star raids and it worked pretty well~~! bottle capped, max ivs in attack and hp, rage fist, drain punch, bulk up, screech being moves, adamant nature thanks to a mint, and the not vital spirit ability.... idk if I should use the ability patch on it. also sadly grass tera type because I got it in a 5 star raid and hadn't bothered to change it.
I think the strategy is; use bulk up 3x, use screech 3x, to potentially take 6 turns of damage while sponging hits, drain punch in case healing is necessary, and just after doing the above, rage fist to hopefully one shot the raid before the ai party does too much damage and causes the barrier to go up.
Just a build for raids that I found online and it works~~!! First 6 star raid and I beat it~~~!! better for that than the ursaring I was using for blissey ones. Sucks blissey is now gone... was a good source of exp candy.
but ye my question is how rare are ability patches? and how many 6 stars are there at once normally? only had one~~~
is anihilape's hidden ability better than the one I've got? It's not vital spirit but idr the name of it atm.
but darn ability patches sell for a lot~~~ Is this one better used than sold? they go for like 125,000 if I'm remembering correctly~~
Surprised I beat a 6 star raid~~~~ Time for bed~~~ wanted to share a build and to ask questions about the probability of raid drops cause I wasn't sure if the first raid drop rewards are the same for everyone or not.
ability patch has a 4.5% chance of dropping from a 6 star raid~~

I was thinking of that old post I sent you awhile back with Pokémon teams for the Pilgrims and thought "You know what, it'd be even better if, when Wukong first joined the journey with Tripitaka, he only had a couple of really small pokemon. Specifically, the chimchar that helped him before Tripitaka found him and the mankey that would eventually evolve into an Anihilape after his fight with Macaque cuz that would be thematically appropriate since Anihilape's pokedex is literally about it coming back to life as a spirit out of sheer rage and i can't imagine anything that would piss a protective primate off more than seeing theirtrainer bwing forced to kill the one they love" And I also added a damaged ear to the mankey to show it had a rough life before Wukong came along and adopted him
This one!
But yesss! Wukong just has the babies on him at first.
The little Chimchar accidentally found "a big monkey pokemon" inside a cave and thought he was stuck. He tried for a small bit to get him out, but the chains wouldn't budge. :( So instead he came back every day with pieces of fruit until Big Monkey can get strong enough to escape :)
Wukong cries the first time the little monkey rerurns to him, offering him a tiny peach/pecha berry.
Chimchar is there to greet him when Tripitaka realises him, and is hooting excitedly for his release! Though he does bite the human at first think he's trying to capture Wukong.
Tripitaka def refuses to partake in Pokemon battles, but you try telling that to two baby monkeys who wanna fight to protect their new guardian's honor (ง •̀_•́)ง
Interesting idea where Inferapes didn't actually have the gold armor/plating before Sun Wukong gained renown, and they started wearing gold to honor/mimic him.
The little Mankey having a rough life is so sad but sweet that Wukong just saw him and went "My baby monkey now".
And OHHHH the Mankey evolving into Anihilape after Wukong and Macaque's fight!! He's so furious that his protector/adoptive parent was forced to hurt his own mate that literally part of him died (symbolically so did part of Wukong).
The pokemon themselves have likely passed on since the days of the Journey, or they gained internal life in their own ways. Anihilape is a ghost type after all, and I could see a certain Wukong-looking pokemon stealing "giant pechas" to see what the big fuss is about XD

What type of Pokémon team would Yusuke have?
BRUH This is DEPENDING ON THE REGION TOO. For simplicity's sake let's go with the newest Paldea region. If Yusuke were to pick a starter then of course that starter would be:
Fuecoco, WHY? Because Yusuke runs hot. Adding Puu likeness to him I think he'd just let him be just that, an unevolved Fuecoco cause Yusuke needs a cute mascot with him. Now Yusuke's out in the wild with his new pokemon. The two will see so many different pokemon on the way during this exam (I THINK it was an exam, LORD knows he wouldn't stick around for class either way) and then the pokemon that would catch his attention is Pawmo. Look at it, little guy and looks like it likes to throw hands, he'd resonate with that pokemon so he'll catch it and eventually on the long journey it'll evolve, so second in line is Pawmot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another pokemon I think he'd actively catch is a Slakoth, because knowing Yusuke he'd be making a pretty good meal and that'll attract the little mon tow his campsite. Yusuke might see a kindred spirit in Slakoth's lax nature and catch him too and of course it would evolve into Vigoroth and the two are just on the same wavelength, always up for action. What I also wanna stress is Yusuke would be the type of trainer that would help a pokemon along the way of his journey. The pokemon I'm sure he'd find would be another cute one, maybe a Happini that would represent 'Keiko'. The poor little thing could have lost its egg and of course Yusuke would help her out, with a nudge from Fuecoco of course. So they find the egg and Happini didn't want to separate herself from Yusuke so she joins him and eventually turns into a Blissey through bonding. If I'm not mistaken Blissey's themed item is a Lucky Egg and in Yusuke's own canon he's a pretty lucky individual soo it works.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We're nearing the end of the pokemon selection. NOW We did say Fuecoco's with him because Yusuke really has a knack for having something cute be connected to him spiritually in some way, but I think the TRUE stand-in for Puu in the realm of pokemon would be Altaria. It's a bird, with a long neck and it's blue, we know he'd definitely be knocking heads with this. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST the pokemon Yusuke would definitely catch is a mankey. You don't need me to go into WHY he'd have a Mankey. Look at it, it's mannerism. It'd shine to him and he'd DEFINITELY want it on his team. ALSO I will say even here Yusuke would be a kind of fighter, not a demon or something like that honestly but definitely still a street fighter, so he and his primeape can throw hands. Then Anihilape.

As someone who has done a lot of solo raids, I can say that it helps to go with pokemon that have super effective stab moves on the terra type primarily, but barring that a lot of people sweep with belly drum azumaril or rage fist anihilape
The answer generally seems to be 'Belly Drum Azumarill' or 'level 100 iron hands'

actually assigning pokemon to the friend group would probably make for a pretty damn good competitive team depending on who’s with who (and which six of them you bring)
Armarouge (NMTE Solar, Fire/Psychic) Indeedee (Pandora, Psychic/Normal) Raging Bolt (Tempest, Electric/Dragon) Flutter Mane (Azarel, Fairy/Ghost) Anihilape (Tristan, Ghost/Fighting) Sneasler (Mahlon, Fighting/Poison) Hydrapple (Erra, Grass/Dragon) Hisuian Sammurrot (Balor, Water/Dark) Gholdendo (Vitum, Steel/Ghost)

Hi professor, uh a bit of a sensitive ask but. Is there any tips you have when taking care of an Anihilape?
I know thwre is a stigma around Anihilapes having abusive trainers. Though in my case mine evolved when she protected me while getting out of an abusive situation myself.
I just want to know if she's my sweet intimidating tough girl she was before evolving. And if not then I want to take as good care of her as I can even still.
Some Pokémon go through a little personality change during or after evolution, but this usually is simply due getting used to their physical form changing. Annihilape's Pokédex entry, similar to its pre-evolution, and many other Pokémon, is exaggerated for teaching children. If your Primeape was a sweet girl before evolution, she likely still is. The 'Dex makes it seem as though they get so angry that they die, and that simply isn't the truth.
When a healthy Primape evolves into an Annihilape, it is triggered by a sort of maturity. The Pokémon has let out much of its anger, and through exhaustion, reached a sense of clarity. Most ghost types aren't actually dead, they just draw on particular energy that we call "ghost". This is most certainly the case with Annihilape. They use their emotions to draw on a genetic affinity to this energy that helps protect their physical body, which causes the evolution.
Care wise, there are a few things you'll need to change up from your normal routine. Your Pokémon has much longer fur now, and needs to be bathed and brushed a little more frequently. Sometimes they enjoy a good hair cut too, but ask first. Annihilape is also bigger over all than Primape, and will need a higher volume of food. I do recommend both packaged ghost and fighting type food supplemented with snacks such as berries, nuts, and dried meat. Your Pokémon may be a little less energetic but will still need enrichment, but more mentally now than before.
If you do notice signs of uncharacteristic aggression, I recommend taking her to a Pokémon Center for a check up, and then a ghost type specialist if the doctors don't find anything wrong. The ghost energy can take some getting used to, especially for a Pokémon who has only used physical energies their whole life. Meditation can help them adjust.

Chairman Geetu... kinda sucks
We were saying this a year ago, and with one year of hindsight, we can say it even louder. Her team is mediocre, she sends them out in a weird order, and in general, she fails to live up to the hype of the "Top Champion". So, let's build her a better team, with one goal in mind: we don't just make this fight harder. We make it completely alien.
First, give Geetu an AI rework that lets her switch out of disadvantageous matchups. That way, players have to play around these switches.
Now, the team itself
We'll be doing the obvious and making Glimmora her lead. Not only that, but we'll be borrowing some notes from Arven and giving her Stealth Rocks.
Glimmora level 65
Ability: Toxic Debris
Item: Black Sludge
Stealth Rocks
Earth Power
Mortal Spin
Power Gem
Did I forget to mention all her pokemon have items? Whoopsies.
Opening on a pokemon you've never seen before would immediately give the fight a unique feeling, especially when you see that item. Not only that, but hazards will add a unique element of challenge, while also effectively teaching new players about a mechanic that's never utilized to its fullest in the base games, but will be especially useful in this fight.
Next up, Gholdengo. Gholdengo requires you to correct 1000 gimmighoul coins to evolve it. To players who have gotten it, it will speak to the fact that Geetu used to do things. To players who haven't, it keeps the alien feeling going.
Gholdengo level 65
Ability: i forgor the name
Item: Choice Specs
Make it Rain
Shadow Ball
Gholdengo continues the lesson on hazards by blocking your own, as well as your attempts to remove hazards.
Next up, let's get some pokemon you actually can't get in here. Her third pokemon is the Charcadet evolution from the other version, either an Armarouge with a Weakness Policy, or a Ceruledge with a Focus Sash. Both have Weak Armor.
Her fourth pokemon is a pseudo-legend, also being one you can't get (Salamence in Scarlet, Hydreigon in Violet). This pokemon has a Life Orb.
Fifth will be Volcarona, because it's one of two pokemon that will have a paradox form regardless of version, and also because it's my favorite. You could swap this out for Anihilape or something if it feels right.
Volcarona level 67
Item: Heavy Duty Boots
Ability: Swarm
Bug Buzz
Quiver Dance
Energy Ball
Fire Blast
Finally, her Ace, although not really because I'll get to that in a second, Kinggambit. Keep it mostly the same but give it leftovers.
Now, the problem with this is, her AI could switch in Kinggambit at any time. How do we stop this? Answer: we don't. Every one of her pokemon comes loaded with a unique Terra type, and she'll terrastalize on the last one left.
I feel like this team has the potential to deliver on the promise of the Top Champion, although admittedly, the items are a little bit like something out of a mod. Idk I just don't think any quest line's climax should involve gogoat

Verses for Itto, Dottore, Tartaglia, and Wriothesley
V: Hisui Hunk (Pokemon)
Tumblr media
Born into the land of Hisui, Itto was raised by a lost tribe known for the crimson horns on their heads. The tribe was often chased and persecuted due to their ghoulish appearance and remained hidden. But on a cold and cruel night, their chasers caught up and burned their village down. Itto’s mother carried him in an attempt to escape, but she was cornered onto a cliff. With no choice, his mother threw her baby rather than leave him to die at the hands of their chasers.
But before the babe fell to his demise, a light shined, and a hole through space opened, taking him to a much kinder time. As opposed to the dreary and snow-covered land of Hisui, he was taken to a land of autumn leaves and warm skies. The babe wrapped in his mother’s blanket in the streets of Ecruteak City cried out until a woman with gentle eyes came along and found him and tried to find someone who knew of the baby’s whereabouts but to no avail. All that the babe had was the blanket he came wrapped in and his father’s belt, which carried his family crest and name engraved.
Rather than leave the child in an orphanage, the older woman took him as her own and raised him on a farm just outside of the city. She bestowed the name she found on the belt, his father’s name, Arataki Itto. The child grew up unaware of his past, always curious about why he looked so different from the other kids. He was taller, bulkier, and carried those horns. Subject to mockery and teasing, he was always the center of drama and fights at school. But things changed when he found his first Pokemon. Tauros, one he named Ushi.
With a Pokemon on his side, he gained a little acceptance thanks to battling. He even gained a following by standing up for a few classmates by serving as a punching bag to distract bullies while the victims got away. As time passed, Itto’s skills and team grew; not only that, but physically, he became a hulking behemoth in comparison to the other trainers. Before he knew it, he became a so-called ‘gangster’ in the town. In reality, he was nothing more than a troublemaker at best.
But something always bothered Itto as he grew into adulthood. Glimpses of his parents and past would creep into his dreams. Asking his grandmother about his past would lead to more questions about his origins. Lost about who he was and where he came from, he set off to travel the world in hopes to finding answers to his questions, causing trouble on the occasion.
His pokemon team is comprised of
Paldean Tauros, Anihilape, Grimmsnarl, Falinks, Heracross, and Regirock
V: The very best (Pokemon)
Tumblr media
Ajax Rybakov works for a special division of Interpol tasked with procuring legendary pokemon to keep them out of the wrong hands. He is ranked number eleven. During his youth, he endured over a year in ultra space and grew tremendously strong because of it. Nowadays, you can find him traveling to get these legends out of their dens or spending time with his family in their newly purchased Alolan home.
His team is comprised of
Kingambit, Palafin, Decidueye, Jolteon, Gallade, and Lunala
V: mad doctor (pokemon)
Tumblr media
Zandik was a brilliant scientist from the Kalos region who worked under Dr. Fuji. Their team was sponsored by Team Rocket to create the ultimate Pokemon, and on the side, they also did some tests in human cloning. Months passed, but their sweat and tears were rewarded with results. The team had created the ultimate Pokemon, but doing so resulted in their annihilation. They had been overwhelmed by their own fruit, and Mewtwo destroyed all around it.
By the time Interpol came to investigate, only one soul remained among the corpses. His body was shattered, and a few parts of his body remained. Interpol managed to keep what was left of him alive. They gave the survivor an option to spend the rest of his life behind bars and hooked up to machines or to offer his services and knowledge to a righteous cause. In return, they offered to fund him in his research and freedom.
It was a fair deal. He joined up with Interpol as a chief researcher. In time, the doctor created replacement parts for his body with his knowledge of cloning. Next, he finished his research on Mewtwo and created a more obedient version to wield under his command, then took research from other groups and created a copy of Genesect. Years passed, and events from Hoenn to Galar plagued the world with trouble. Interpol had tried its best to stop such incidents, but the breaking point had been in Alola.
When word got out of Director Anabelle, and Agent Looker defying direct orders to procure Necrozma, the entire entity of Interpol went berserk. Thus, a new branch was made, one tasked with nullifying the threat of legendary Pokemon, preventing cataclysmic powers from getting into the wrong hands and eventually hoping to remove the will of Arceus in the world; in doing so, they could secure humanity’s future and safety. Because of Zandik’s cruel tactics, knowledge, and aid over the years, he has been placed second in this group.
The reason why Zadndik strives in his research is because he has yet to finish his experiment with Mewtwo. With so many new and powerful monsters out there, he has to test his creation's limits, push past them, and prove to the world that he has made the ultimate lifeform and that not even the divine can surpass his intellect,
Zandik now tends to go by his assigned name, Il Dottore.
His team is comprised of
Corviknight, Genesect, Mega Mewtwo Y, Aromatisse, Zoroark, and Rotom (wash)
V: Punched out Plasma
Tumblr media
Wriothesley's earliest memories were of his time in an orphanage in Castelia city. Life wasn't pleasant, but it was far from awful. His time there was short spent before he was taken in by a loving family. He was in a lavish home with over a dozen siblings... and most notably, his parents were part of a strange group called Team Plasma. He was given love, food, a warm bed, and more attention than he could ask for. Years passed and they were taught and raised with principles of how Pokemon ownership was wrong and that they needed to be liberated. For Wriothesley, he understood; it didn't seem like Pokemon enjoyed being smashed with borders or burned up for entertainment.
At the age of ten, things changed for him and his loving family. Plasma made its campaign against the region of Unova. Peace for people and Pokemon all around was about to become a reality until their king was tossed from his throne by a champion of trainers. Sage Ghetsis fought valiantly to try and save their future, but he, too, was best. The golden age of Plasma was over, and they now scurried to the shadows like vermin for the sake of survival. Members all over were hunted and thrown away to rot by Interpol. During the shuffle for safety, the parents and children of the family were split apart. Ghetsis ruled that if there was any hope for Plasma, sacrifices had to be made. The days of warmth and joy were gone.
Team Plasma went under total reform. They had new parents while their old ones were sent away for 'special training' , though they were cold and cruel. Each and every day, he and his siblings went through excruciating training to refine their bodies into agile machines like the shadow triad. They were forced into combat with each other, given Pokemon, and battled every hour of the day to perfect their skills. Despite the hardship, Wriothesley excelled in any subject. He surpassed his siblings, grunts, and officers and even came to a draw with a triad member.
But as he thrived, his siblings fell behind. They were graded by pulling off assignments for Plasma. Whether it be procuring Pokemon, resources, or documents from those who hunted them. Every time one struggled and showed a lack of potential, they too were sent for special training. Now a teenager, Wriothesley was suited up for the final campaign of Plasma, but before that, he wanted to visit his family to give them one last hug in case the worst came to be. Using his training, he snuck in, stole, and found what had happened to those who went through 'special training.'
Documents revealed that those who knew too much about Plasma and its hidden bases were disposed of if they had doubts about the new order. All the people he loved were being taken by Plasma. They didn't care one bit for the lives of him or his family; they were just pawns meant to be tossed aside once their usefulness ended... and these new parents knew. They were murderers. At that moment, bloodlust was the only thing in Wriothesley's mind. He set out with his Houndoom and slayed his 'parents' that very night. After what he had done, there was only one way out, and so he turned himself and his siblings in to Interpol. Their base was raided and secured by the police. He cut a deal with prosecutors to get his siblings free. But because of the blood on his hands, Wriothesley would spend the next ten years behind bars.
Let out into the world after so many years, things seemed so foreign and strange. Plasma bit the dust thanks to a little girl and her Pokemon, mega evolution, dynamaxing, and smartphones were everywhere to be seen. With no home, Wriothesley spent most of his first days out on the streets, doing odd jobs, donating blood, whatever he could to keep the stomach of his Houndoom full. He tried every job that he could get with his criminal background, from fast food service, to stocking and cleaning. Nothing seemed to fit, and time and time again, he was fired. Until one day, he got into the sport of boxing. Starting off as a rookie, he gained enough money to stay afloat with his Houndoom; eventually, he climbed the ranks thanks to his combat skills, strength, and reflexes. Whenever he fought, all the thoughts and bad memories disappeared, and he felt happy.
At the age of twenty-five, Wriothesly took the title of heavy-weight champion of Unova. Earning enough money to buy a house on the outskirts of Nimbasa, a beautiful dark red truck, and all the snacks a Houndoom and some extra strays he picked up during his travels could want. Wriothesley doesn't participate in Pokemon battles anymore; he wants nothing to do with the life Plasma forced on him. He lives for himself now, doing what he loves and giving his three dogs a normal and happy life. Wriothesley fights to protect his life and his dogs, rather than using pokemon to protect his dreams.
Wriothesley will travel to other regions for exhibition matches; in such instances, he brings his dogs with him. His dogs are Oso (Mightyena) male, Rex (Houndoom) male, and Luna ( Lycanroc shiny dusk form) female.

🕶 : Are there ‘troublemaking’ Pokémon on your character’s team? If so, how do they tackle these troubles?
🎃 : Do any Pokémon types unsettle your character? Do they have a phobia of them? Why?
Out of Itto's team, there is one true troublemaker: his Grmmsnarl, Oni. While most of his Pokemon tend to find their way into trouble it's usually by accident or just clashing personalities but Oni by nature, just stirs up drama with people or Pokemon alike. Whether it's just by claiming food from other Pokemon, pulling pranks, or starting fights, he is the Pokemon that most resembles his trainer. If Oni gets in trouble Arataki Itto tends to take the blame for his Pokemon's actions, followed by a stern talking about what it means to be a responsible man. His efforts to get to his pokemon's thick skull make slow but steady progress
Tumblr media
As for Arataki Itto there is one type of pokemon that just completely freaks him out it is ghost-type pokemon. Not physical ghost pokemon like Anihilape, golurk, or Sabeleye, but more like spirit ghost types like Gengar, shuppet, misdreavous just give him the chills. If Itto is confronted or cornered by a ghost, it'll activate his fight or flight response. There is a fifty percent chance of running in terror or fifty percent to just go ape and obliterating the poor things. The reason why he is afraid of ghost pokemon is because, growing up in Ecruteak, there was never any shortage of stories of people dying or ghost Pokemon tensing up the aura because of the gym. It's mostly just a fear he's carried over from his childhood and never really got over.

Yall get my convoluted fucking Pokerouge brute force method
So leads:
Incineroar {me} vs boss Slither Wing {Ghetsis}
I swap out for my Anihilape, who still gets hit because for some fucking reason this bitch has scrappy. Anihilape eats his sitrius berry
Anyways, I use Outrage, which when he switches in their boss Iron Jugulis takes the boss down to the second bar, the Jugulis also locks into outrage KOing my Anihilape
I switch in Primarina, unaffected by Outrage finishes the job on Jugulis
He switches in Durant, and I switch in Incineroar. The iron head always misses
I use Flare Blitz as he switches out Durant for the boss Slither Wing. Flare Blitz brings Slither down to the one boss bar
I switch in Primarina, tanking the Superpower with 55 health left.
Then use Sparkling Aria, which when he switches Durant in, one shots it with the torrent boost
Darmantian. This fucker
I switch out Primarina and send in Flygon, unaffected by this guys stupid electric move
Dragon Rush into the newly switched in Boss Kyruem, doing about half the first bar
Switch in Incineroar, tanking the Glaciate
Flare Blitz into the Kyruem who lowers Incineroars speed
Darkest Lariat because he switches in Darmantian again
Switch in Flygon to take the electric attack and bait Kyruem back out
Hit the 5 Dragon Scale with a crit on switch in, bringing the Kyruem into berry range and firmly in the final healthbar
Incineroar tanks another Glaciate
Flare Blitz, killing both the switched in boss Slither Wing and himself
Throw in Primarina, baiting the Darmanitan back out with the electric move
Take the electric move again with Flygon
Dragon Rush into the newly switched in Kyruem, bringing em down to about half the bar left
Switch into Primarina, being immune to the Outrage from Kyruem
Use Sparkling Aria to KO the switched in Darmanitan
Kingambit with supreme overlord time. Man.
Switch in Boltund who tanks an Iron Head.
Kingambit switches out giving Boltund a free hit onto Kyruem with a Play Rough
Switch into Primarina again to be immune to Outrage
The Kyruem uses Glaciate but misses, letting Primarina KO
Kingabmit is back, Primarina uses Sparkling Aria bringing him to half before getting KOed
Boltund uses Play Rough, getting essential chip damage before being KOed
Flygon uses dig, taking all but a tiny sliver of Kingambit’s health before being KOed
Meowscarada. Finally. Flower Trick to ensure the most damage despite the resist, and kills the Kingambit, winning the battle
