OH LONELY ANIMAL. We desperately search for meaning in our lives. We search for companionship in a life to follow this one, and in the stars, as we live on this planet.

We create our god, and gods, in our own image, and we fight, ostracize, torture, and even kill over our definitions of god. Meanwhile, we are surrounded by magnificent beings, plant and animal. We have the richest biodiversity at our primate fingertips. The plants and animals speak constantly, and God whispers in the wind. But we don't hear, because we see and believe only the ideas that we create.

Unfortunately, in a silly misconception, we have elevated ourselves to primary importance. And we can’t seem to see that we’ve made ourselves miserable. We have epidemics of rage, sadness, existential crisis, and complete disassociation from the rest of creation. It is no wonder we are lonely.

This is a call to awareness. A call to unity. A call to truly living. A call to loving all that is, whether we understand it or not.

Know that as a human, no matter how many degrees you carry, no matter how many countries you’ve seen, no matter how much money you have, and no matter how “religious” you are…you know nothing of what there is to know in this grand universe.

Please stop thinking that the earth is yours to consume, and the animals yours to kill, for your entertainment and bravado. You are an animal, attempting to impress other animals. Scientifically I can know, however little, that we are part of an ecological system that we greatly impact.

Scientifically I can know, that animals feel pain and emotion.

Finally, I cannot know, but I choose to believe that each of us belongs to God. It is not for us to take more than we need, lest we increase our loneliness and isolation. It is not for us to rape and pillage, while presuming to be the "superior" being. It is not an intelligent animal that destroys its own habitat. It is not a "good" animal that finds entertainment in the pain and suffering of any other living being.

Please think about it. Think about this life and how choices matter. Don’t waste a life being blindly robotic and a parasitic consumer of this magnificent earth. Think about ways to give back, to live sustainably, to live ethically, and to honor the spirit of God that resides in ALL ANIMALS AND PLANTS.

Occy Tipsters is appalled and outraged by the witnessed cruelty to retired racehorses and pacers, seen on the ABC tonight. It’s clear that the governing bodies in each state are unable to police their own laws or are choosing to turn a blind eye to the treatment of retired racehorses. . If the racing authorities continue to shun this horrific and gruesome issue that has been exposed by the ABC reporter Ms Meldrum-Hanna, either the Government should step in or the governing bodies of each state should be held accountable and heads should roll from the top. . Occy Tipsters Pty LTD believes that retired racehorses should be respectfully treated and rehomed or repurposed, with no cruelty involved. . Please try telling me that they don't feel, try saying that they don't Love, just try.. After seeing this pic..of my 2 love birds.. Gino and Mira... They r inseparable and they r holding hands...as they sleep..I woke them up by taking the pic n turning on the light... But they were asleep holding paws...I rescued miracle aka Mira at 3wks old when her mommy was hot by a train n died..Mira wobbled across the tracks over gravel them fell 30 feet into a busy high way.. My friends saw her n ran to grab her for me.. They immidiately thoughtv of me n called me.. They ran up to the tracks to find 3 more starving kittens.. So of course I wanted to bottle feed all 4 but my friend stepped in n took two..n I took 2.. My boss Christ fell in love with one n took her home making her poopsy.. She had a sickness n passed away at 8 wks.. But she impacted our lives forever... But Mira has poopsy living on in her..n she shows enough love for two cats... So please understand them..
