Alucard somehow gets around Hirano's weird 'only opposite sex turnings can happen and only with virgins!!' rule and turns Jonathan against his will for 'worthy adversary/thrall/fledgling' reasons (Death/Undeath 1). Usagi does some magical painless mercy kill (Death 2) and then spends the rest of the scene whacking Alucard over the head with a scepter.

The Harkers are still kicking and full of anime overkill supernatural powers. Melee ensues. Usagi does some kind of reincarnation beam and Jonathan and Mina get reborn to live their lives in peace. Alucard is still Alucard so he takes a while before limping home to Integra. He will never wash out all the glitter.

Animeland X-tra magazine articles about Wakfu and the Dofus Movie

I suddenly remembered about this when I looked at both my Wakfu and Dofus posters I got from this mag 😂

I thought this was a cool thing to share even if I didn't translate the articles/reviews. (At this point all the information shared in them isn't new anymore and has been shared in other places)

First is the Wakfu article from Animeland X-tra #11 released in october 2008 before the show aired on France 3. (A few episodes of season 1 were available on their website before the official airing of the show).

And the The Dofus Livre 1: Julith article from the issue #41 from april 2016 after the movie was released.

They also made two special issues about Dofus and Wakfu respectively but I don't own them :(

I don't know if they ever made an article about Dofus Aux Trésors. I tried to check all the issues I have from around the time it released but I couldn't find anything. Wakfu is mentioned in other issues but they're just small blurbs about when new episodes where scheduled to release or the release of the first DVD.

I’ve said before that my version of Ash is autistic, but autism tends to pair up with other neurological disorders like ADHD or anxiety disorders (social anxiety gang woop) and Ash is no different.

On top of being autistic, Ash has Prosopagnosia AKA facial blindness. He is completely unable to recognise people by their faces so he uses other tells (voices, body shape, clothes, distinctive marks, etc) to identify others. thank fuck ash lives in animeland where even minor appearance changes are rare

Skye is being used above as a good example of how easy it is to confuse Ash if you mess with your appearance enough, even if you are a close loved one. All Skye needs to do is shave his beard off and get a haircut/dye job to get Ash to not recognise his own husband.

This headcanon was mostly born from wanting to explain how in the fuck Team Rocket have been able to trick Ash for half of his life with such obvious disguises. That, and I‌ do also headcanon that the TRio’s disguises are a lot more convincing in-universe. and also autistic projection on my part lol
