Saw your glass child reblog, and I think I'm a glass child, my little brother has autism and is completely unable to read/write/do math etc, he was also born with an undeveloped part of his brain so he was always starving (it healed itself tho). But I'm also pretty sure I didn't get as bad of a version of it as other people I know. My parents sent me to a sibling course to meet other kids my age who had disabled siblings, it was very helpful in not feeling completely alone. But the bullying I received for protecting my brother probably did fuck me up pretty badly.

I don't resent my brother in any way, I love him and I am going to protect him until I die.

But I will also not pretend that protecting him constantly didn't fuck me up and give me a saviour complex that has been a cause in me entering several abusive relationships and made me hate myself, etc etc

Hmm that’s a difficult question. There are certainly better blogs out there who can help answer the QPR question (since I do not want to explain it inaccurately).

When it comes to the difference between romantic and platonic attraction for me personally, I do not experience wanting to be very cuddly or wanting to kiss a person to who I am platonically attracted to. While I do want to be close to them and learn more about them and want to make sure they are happy, I do not experience the need to show physical affection towards them (touching their back, holding their hand, giving them a kiss on the cheek, etc.)
