These are just my personal headcanons, no shade to any other headcanons :)) (also my headcanons change like... a LOT so these may not stay grounded)

Here they are:

Kusuo Saiki: Aromantic Asexual, Trans Man

Riki Nendou: Never really thought about his sexuality a bunch, but I'd say Pansexual.

Shun Kaidou: Bisexual as hell. Also Trans in my heart, but I'm not sure in what direction.

Chiyo Yumehara: Bisexual!!! I kinda think she'd have a preference towards men

Kokomi Teruhashi: ohgosh I can NEVER figure out what Teruhashi is. Bisexual??? Lesbian??? Aroace??? Trans Man???

Sexuality Headcanon: Varies between ‘verses and AU. I’m not good with these types of headcanons, but I think he’s personality > looks and connect with people with certain interests as him, romantically or otherwise.

Gender Headcanon: Cismale

A ship I have with said character: Tenma of course. Your Poly Au with Tenma/Hoshi is cute. Him and Ban is slowly rubbing off on me as well, so I’ll take them if Tenma is with Hoshie or something. Tawashi COULD work but so far meh. Special mention to his wife in PLUTO; he really seemed to loved her for what we got in that one page.

A BROTP I have with said character: Again, Tenma. It was never clear on how they knew each other exactly in the ‘03 anime but the ‘03 manga gave them a bit of backstory. On that note, He was pretty close to Ban in the anime and I wish they interacted a bit more. Fanon wise, Shadow and Hoshie.

A NOTP I have with said character: Hm, I can’t say. Maybe none of the villains, save for Tenma and Shadow? They go against everything he stands so that won’t work out at all. Also goes without saying but no underage or (pseudo-) incest!

A random headcanon: He’s a gamer! I’m kinda projecting here sorry lol

Mostly games like Mega Man, Sonic, Zelda, Stardew Valley along with puzzles/physics (Portal, Tetris) and (J)RPGs. Not interested in fighting ones (Smash Bros gets a pass) or super mature/gory/sexual ones (Like Mortal Kombat or any H-games). Other then that he’ll give anything a try. He a fairly busy person, so something easy/engaging will catch is interest.

Bonus: While they do have consoles and PC’s at home he takes Astro, Uran and Reno to the arcade from time to time.

General Opinion over said character: A bit wide eyed and naive sometimes, he’s nevertheless one of the best father figures in the Star System as a whole. While Tenma is more complex character (Also why he’s so popular) and each version has something different to offer, Ochan is more static and borderline on being a generic character in some places. It took DECADES for Tenma to finally be treated like an actual character in ‘03 canon, so maybe we can get a fresh take of him this decade with the reboot? Not holding my breath but I can dream.

Bonus: PLUTO and ‘03 canon are my favorite versions. I lean towards ‘03 manga a bit more as him and Tenma have something of a backstory. Special mention to the 60’s version for bitch slapping a robot murder with his nose and also using it pound him in the ground and telling off a skyscraper sized robot who killed one of strongest robots in the world and then tried to fight his robo son. I need to see more of that energy to balance out Tenma insanity.

"What I like about Hellmare is she's smart, funny, sweet, she's always there for her friends and allies, even showing she's willing to fight for what's right." he said thinking but looks down. "Also, it's because she cares. She's always there to help her friends because she wishes to hope the other is safe and okay. She did the same for me when I was freaking out during a bad blizzard. She stayed with me to insure I was alright." he said.

"I love her gentle personality and strong personality. She has a beautiful smile, her eyes are like gems, and she's really special. She and I tend to drink tea from time to time even some home made Tea I here at home. "he said showing some hand made tea bags due to him growing his own.

"We do work well together if my fraction works with the DBT or side by side if we have a similar mission/target. She always is ready to head into battle which is impressive to how she can plan, strategize, and work along the plan to make it work. But to answer you yeah I do like like her. A lot. I have a crush on her since she's the most beautiful girl I've ever met. And I do enjoy our hanging out and talking over some good tea. I mostly think this poll is hilarious (and some people are taking it way, way too seriously) but it’s starting to get really weird how often people on the opposite side are dismissing Gundam — a giant of science fiction that remade a genre in its image — and quite literally lying about Suletta and Miorine. I’ve seen people claim they were canonically married to men, people claim the show’s ending was rewritten by interns, claim they never hugged, and other claims regarding them not being canon.

While Bandai and Kadokawa did censor one interview, and Bandai released an “open to interpretation” statement, these no longer hold true. Official material has henceforth referred to them as married. One instance of censorship and a statement they’ve clearly walked back on does not erase the fact that the show itself heavily emphasizes their wedding rings, refers to Miorine as Eri’s sister-in-law, and makes it abundantly clear that they are married.

“I knew I was going to make an epilogue, but it was a while before I decided upon the exact number of years that should pass in-between. The ending itself follows “The Tempest,” and depicts Suletta and Miorine getting married and becoming partners.”

An addendum to this: I’ve also seen a strange dismissal of the history that G-Witch pulls from.

G-Witch draws from Gundam’s extensive, genre-shaking history, classics like Utena and Rose of Versailles, and Shakespeare’s The Tempest. It brings Gundam and Utena’s connection full circle, and is in conversation with every Gundam series that came before it.

It’s unfair to dismiss it as just some random show, or — as I’ve seen some do — credit its open queerness to the influence of completely unrelated American media, as if Japan is utterly devoid of gay people.

Its been some time since we checked on the others within New York City has keep on the move. Some fighting through the infected while others subcome to it. Right now, a few of the fractions have gone through this but this leads to some still in hiding spots. It seems Mr. Henderson has gotten through to Jellyfish and Mouse, asking how they were and if they heard from the others.

"No sir..we haven't heard anything else. Even if we could. Our radios and other things are still down." Fosh sighed looking at the computer worried as Mr. Henderson thinks.

'I see. And you haven't been able to contact Ink or the other leaders again after the last time?' he asked.

"No. We did once seeing they were still alive fighting through this..but we got word some of our team members were infected." Mouse said worried that the two look at him.

'Shit. I didn't expect this to be so bad. Right now, New York is under emergency lock down. Nothing goes in or goes out. Meaning it's going to be harder to find a way to get out and stop this.' he said. 'Although, I have some that might try to work with finding some cure for this but nothing so far. We don't have the right missing ingredients to work on it..' he explains.

"Wait, a cure?" the hackers said.

'Well, a possible cure. We got the info you gave us through the e-mail of the notes that was found. So far, we are trying to make something that might work as a anti serum to stop this. So far, it's only lead to negative results. We still are working on improving it but nothing has changed...' he mutters but thinking about it, he looks to Fosh and Mouse.

'Listen to me you two, do your best to stay alive out there. I been getting word the infected has gotten stronger now. Their getting faster, stronger, and more active. I need you to keep moving even if you seek a safe place. They could end up getting heightened senses too later down the road.'

"B..but what about you? We don't know what is going on...and our friends...we don't know if.."

'Knowing them, they are surviving as much as they can. I'm sure with help they will find you as others will. Right now, they have to survive like you two do. Just keep each other safe..I need to go. Just try to find anyone else you can...I'll reach to you again if something comes up.' With that, the call ends leaving Fosh and Mouse alone to think.

"They can adapt? Oh that's not good. But what about the members that got bitten?" she asked.

"I..I don't know..I just hope it's something not too painful.." Fosh said worried. "But like he said, we should keep moving. We need to find another hiding safe point here...staying here has gotten dangerous." Fosh said but Mouse nods only to quickly finish but they were on foot now since their last hide out got set ablaze. The DI5 infected are getting stronger...

But what of the ones that was infected? That leads to another point...

In another area, we recheck with Rust and Breezy who actually met up with two other people. Melinda and Jaron. The two girls were happy to meet with one another in tears but it seems they had the same situation.

"So you been giving Jaron blood to keep him stable?" Breezy saw her nod yes.

"He's been alright so far...but..I'm worried. The infection might be adapting and changing. He's gotten more in need of blood than food now. Not that I mind but I'm worried about him." Melinda looks quiet but Breezy understood. Even seeing the healed bite mark where Jaron feeds from her.

"..And the same for Rust too?" she asked.

"Yep. We been alright till finding you two. I can't get any word from the others since the radios are still down. But I'm worried. This is getting worse and worse now....what if something else goes wrong." she grumbles but Melinda was worried to gently hold her hand.

"I..It's going to be fine. You always told me it would be....besides, we have to stay strong for our friends...." she then looks to Jaron and Rust who was resting near by. "A..and for them too." she said.

".......Yeah, I know.....it's just hard to move now with the DI5 infected around, we don't know where they could be. Their getting smarter now which is not good.." she said.

"No..but..we'll just have to keep thinking of a plan to keep them at bay.." she said as the girls were trying to rest. Even now, Rust and Jaron were indeed resting but they were wincing a little due to the way of fighting off the hunger.

"Though, we should be alright, lets just check on them to see if they need anything." Breezy said standing up. "I'll go check on Rust....be back Melinda." she said to nod watching her leave. She did decide to check on Jaron too.

Breezy saw Rust resting still but she goes to have some water for him but bends down looking to him. He seems more peaceful now but still looking to be fighting off the hunger. Her fingers brush through his hair worried but hopes he's hanging in there.

"Don't worry Rust. I'll be sure to keep you safe..I want to at least see you fight this off..." she mutters watching over him but when she moves her hand back, a familiar metal hand grabs her wrist. "!?"

She blinks looking to see Rust awake but he was panting still holding her not hurting her. Breezy didn't know he was awake. "Rust? Are you alright? Do you need something.." she asked but all Rust did was wince again.

"Hey hey easy...take it easy.." she said worried to help him sit up. He was tired of this damn thing but he already was doing his best to stay calm only to lean against Breezy who held him. All she did was remain quiet holding him.

"It's alright...I'm here Rust....." she said but that made her wonder if the others were alright. She hopes they are. They had to be. Even with him gripping the back of her shirt, he was shaking panting against it trying to fight it. She looked worried.

"......H...u..ng..ry....Hun....gry........"

"Huh? What did you say Rust?" However, she had a feeling he was alright only to adjust himself now slowly licking against the spot he bit her before.

"W..wait, are you..hungry again?" she asked still feeling the licking. She didn't move but only looks quiet. "I..If your hungry again..You can if you need to. It's fine." she said feeling the light tickles of his licks. However, he didn't say much but only looks keeping her close.

"...I'm sorry Breezy......" he said only to bite her again. She twitched from the bite but she bit into his torn jacket while letting him eat. It was fine, she was not saying a thing but she only remains quiet while he grips the shirt more while eating.

Melinda was already checking on Jaron too but she was sitting by him while hoping he was alright. This was too crazy but he's been holding on since then. However, she was feeling him nuzzle against the palm of her hand.

"...I see your still hanging on. I'm happy to know this..but I'm still worried. I don't know what this infection will do to you or the others.." she mutters.

"..I'll be fine. It's not as bad when I got bit...but It's better because at least your not suffering from this." he speaks tired like but Melinda knew.

".....Even so, It still might happen right? Even if I'm not infected...I still worry more about you than me.." she mutters and yet, Jaron looks up to her.

"It's alright. We will figure this out remember? Everyone is going through this either not infected or is. We just have to be more careful.." he said even if he was seeing her still worry. "And to be sure none of them try to." he said.

"..I know. I am able to but...I will be careful."

"Even after the last time when one almost bit you?" he asked but she was quiet remembering. He was able to get away from it before she burned it. However, he didn't like the thought of one hurting her.

"I'm sorry.....I didn't know it would explaining them getting smarter. I just have to become more alert with my surroundings." she said but thinking about it, Jaron was quiet only to look at her.

"I know you will..I don't want you to get infected with this...thing. It's painful and it already is messing with my head even so. I do feel okay...even with wanting your blood more than before." he said.

"...I"m told I know.....but I said I would so that way nothing would happen to you." she said.

"You did and I know.." he said but gently reaches to take her hand from his cheek but moved his own to hold her wrist gently. "That means I have to do my best to ensure your safe too. We keep each other safe from this.....but I'll do my best to ensure you of that." as he speaks, he looks to her only to his golden eyes glowing. Yeah, seems the infection was adapting but she blinks to look at him.

"I....know you will. I just...." as she speaks, he leans in closer at a slow pace only to keep her against the wall while looking at her. "......"

"I don't want them to bite or touch you...even if I have to do my best to keep you safe I will.." he got real close to hold her cheeks to look at her. "You mean a lot to me, and I would not let anything happen to you..." he said softly only for him to gently kiss her. She didn't move from this but it only made her blush feeling him break the kiss to look at him. However, she feels him pull her close to hug her but he still was fighting this. He will fight it and he knew Rust would too. Though for now, they had to rest before going on. Though now, Jaron and Rust remain sane but wishes to keep the two safe and close so nothing would take them away.

"Well, this is a little problem..Seems we might have to find another way to go around, Hellmare." Hiroshi said holding his bloody daggers coated in their blood.

"I believe so. This really is getting worse. We'll have to think of another plan.." Hellmare was coated in blood herself as the two were back to back seeing the hoard hissing at them. Seems they were in a unknown location underground. However, they will fight through this before on before gunfire and slashing was heard from that same area.

It's a battle with everyone right now.

When Saiki couldn’t go to Toritsuka for help, he’d approach you.

You weren’t explicitly aware of his powers, but you’ve had your suspicions. Though, it was something you never brought up in conversation with Saiki.

Whenever you do help Saiki out, you assure him that he isn’t in debt to you. This results in Saiki going out of his way to silently pay you back. He knows your words are true, but he wasn’t okay with a good deed going unrewarded.

Additionally, you were okay with doing just about anything. Help him stay away from the sports festival? Sure, you hated it too. Join the Occult club so there’s a not-so-annoying familiar face? Why not? The club seemed like it wouldn’t be too much work.

Talk to a guy from another class for Saiki? Okay.

You weren’t the best at starting a conversation, and neither was Satou Hiroshi. Why Saiki wants to know his interests, you didn’t bother asking. It wasn’t your business.

Opening a conversation with Satou wasn’t hard at all—you figured you could just lie on the spot. “Hi, Satou. Truth be told, I’ve been wanting to talk to you for a while. I want to make friends from every section, and I thought I’d talk to you.”

Satou looks up at you, surprised. “Me? But, I’m not as interesting as the other guys here... Like Toritsuka–”

You abruptly shake your head. “I’ve interacted enough with him. I’m good. But, you... You just have a calming presence, you know? Puts people at ease.”

Saiki, from afar, listens in on your conversation. You had suggested to be on call with him as you made conversation with Satou.

Listening in on your conversation with Satou was something Saiki could do without the help of technology, but you didn’t know that, so Saiki agreed. This made you one of the really few people in Saiki’s phone contacts.

You pull an empty chair near Satou and sit on it. “So, tell me, what do you like? Any favorite bands, drinks, stuff like that?”

Satou happily answers you. “One OK Rock! I love their songs! Ah, I drink a lot of peach tea, too.”

You smile at Satou. “Oh, that’s nice. Do you have any hobbies?”

“I like to read.”

You nod. Average hobby. I like to read too. Everyone likes reading to a certain degree. You then ask him, “Oh? What kind of stuff do you read?”

Satou hums. “Well, I read all kinds of books. I like to pick up a copy of Weekly Jump on Fridays; kind of a reward for getting through the week.”

“That’s so interesting...! Would you want to walk home with me later? That way, we could talk more.” You put your hand in your pocket, checking to see if your phone was still there. You proceed to stand up from the chair and put it back in its place.

Satou awkwardly laughs in response. “I’m sorry, but I have a few errands to do after school, I wouldn’t want to drag you around with me. Maybe some other time.”

You laugh back. “It’s alright. There’s no need for you to apologize! I’ll be on my way now. Good luck with class, Satou.”

“Thank you, you too.” Satou waves before walking away.

You take out your phone and hold it close to your ear. “So? Is that all?”

Saiki hums. “Yes. Thank you.”

“How are you going to get this week’s Jump? We aren’t allowed to leave schoolgrounds until classes are over.”

Saiki answers you, “I have my ways.”

You furrow your brows. “Alright... Why do you want to hang out with him, anyway? No offense, but he’s kind of... bland.”

“That’s exactly why I want to talk to him. Also, we can stop the call. I can see you walking towards me.”

You sigh and end the call, continuing your conversation with Saiki face-to-face. “Alright... And you’re sure he’ll talk to you?”

Saiki shrugs.

You reply flatly, “That’s reassuring. I’ll be at Café Mami if things go well, or not. The usual booth. I’ll just text you.”

I could use clairvoyance to find you, but that works.

You enter Café Mami, alone for the time being, and look for an empty booth. You spot one and head straight to it, setting your bag down. You text Saiki.

Do you want coffee jelly?

Saiki:

I’m waiting for him by the gate. I have a copy of this week’s Jump with me, and I bought peach tea from the cafeteria.

You:

Okay. This means you’ll be going to Café Mami though, right?

Saiki:

I’m just going for the coffee jelly.

You smile at his message before closing your phone. Keep telling yourself that, Saiki.

The manager approaches you and takes your order; you order something for yourself, and two cups of coffee jelly for Saiki. One for him to eat here, and...

“The other coffee jelly is to-go, thank you.”

You open your phone again and search up the band Satou mentiond, One OK Rock. You rummage your bag for your earphones, but to your dismay, you couldn’t find it.

You quietly sigh to yourself. I guess... I’ll listen with my phone really close to my ear. God, I hope no one hears.

You choose a song and pleasantly listen to it. This actually isn’t so bad. Might add this to my playlist– the song stops. You check the notification.

Saiki:

Hello. I am on my way there.

You see Saiki enter Café Mami, and your eyes dart towards the earphones he’s wearing. You point at it. “Those are mine! Where did you get those?”

Saiki sits down as he answers you, “Your bag.”

“You didn’t ask...!”

The manager approaches you two. “Here’s your order. The coffee jelly to-go will be served shortly.”

Saiki looks at you, confused about that last sentence.

“Ah, I ordered a second one for you to enjoy at home.”

Saiki’s eyes sparkle at your words.

You bring your order closer to you. “So, how did things go with Satou?”

Saiki slumps his shoulders and dejectedly hands you back your earphones. “I’ll be taking both coffee jellies to-go, thanks.”

Your voice was riddled with panic, “Huh–?! No, don’t go! Is it that bad?”

“He didn’t talk to me.”

You laugh. “That’s it? Did you even try to talk to him? You’re not the most chatty person I know.”

Saiki nods. “I had everything he liked; Weekly Jump, peach tea, and I was listening to One OK Rock. I even smiled at him.”

You hold back your laughter, you didn’t want Saiki to feel worse than he already did. “Maybe... Maybe he didn’t talk to you because he knew you stole my earphones.”

Irritated, Saiki replies, “That is totally unrelated”

You shrug. “Yeah.” You decide to tease him, “Maybe your smile was weird. Off-putting. I mean, you don’t smile a lot.”

Saiki shakes his head. “My smile wasn’t weird.”

“I’ll have to see for myself.”

“No.”

“You’re no fun.”

Saiki doesn’t reply to your comment, opting to finally eat the coffee jelly in front of him.

“Here’s the coffee jelly to-go. Your order’s complete. Thank you!”

You smile at the waiter and gently push the paper bag with the coffee jelly inside towards Saiki.

Hm... Maybe if he smiled at Satou like that, then they’d be hanging out like this. Ah, then I wouldn’t be able to see Saiki so happy. Perhaps I’ll be selfish, just this once.

Saiki thought to himself as he ate the coffee jelly. For someone who’s had their suspicions about my powers, you sure think rather shamelessly. You’ve done a lot for me, so I’ll let you have this.

Saiki finishes his coffee jelly. “Take out your phone.”

You do as told, although clueless to Saiki’s intentions. “Okay...?”

“I’ll show you the smile I gave to Satou.”

You move over in your seat so Saiki could sit beside you. He takes the hint and walks over to you.

You two smile and you snap a picture, the smile on your face still there as you examine it. Saiki returns to his seat.

You two were smiling, but you were the only one looking at the camera. You look up from your phone, then at Saiki. “Why were you looking at me?”

He’d then respond, “I wasn’t ready.” You looked happy.

korrasami and longing

please walk with me here, i wanna make a point.

i recently rewatched tlok, and remember someone pointed this out years ago after the finale dropped but i don't remember who was it, or where it was posted. i can't find it so i assume it's gone by now, and i wanted to give my own thoughts.

SO. we all know the 3 years korra and asami spent away from each other between book 3 and 4 is very important to their story. in reunion, asami tells korra she's been talking to her father again and is thinking about forgiving him. korra is concerned that hiroshi might wanna hurt her again, and asami goes off:

obviously korra was just worried and had no ill intentions, but asami's reaction is understandable. personally, i would at least feel a little bothered if someone who disappeared for years and refused to keep in touch after a while wanted to judge what i was doing with my life all of a sudden.

especially after having offered to give up everything to go with and support her in any way possible, and everything i got was a quick decline and a big ass ghosting after a couple of letters...

anyway. then we have this scene in kuvira's gambit:

i've watched some reactions on youtube and most people didn't GET it. it's not a surprise since it's a trend in avatar fandom to misunderstand korra's character a lot (and the writers fumbled a little bit with korrasamis development in b4 imo).

this is not a badass korra™ scene or something out of place, it's actually simple: korra knows how it feels to be distant from the ones you love and not being able to do much about it, because it happened to her. korra's body recovered relatively fast and she could've came back sooner but, as toph told her in the swamp, korra was unconsciously sabotaging herself so she wouldn't be susceptible to getting hurt again. still, it felt so horrible to be separated from someone she cared about that she --knowing that bataar jr had love and devotion for kuvira-- used it a fucking threat to get him to talk!

and we reach THE korrasami scene, where they finally get some time alone after the battle and things have cooled down a bit, and the first thing korra does is apologize:

this is one of the few times since coming back that korra actively shows regret from what happened. it's the only time she apologizes for it, and it's to asami.

asami's answer is heartbreaking, but it is what it is. she could've lost both korra AND her dad, the people she cared for the most, but she still has korra. she's here. and that's what matters now.
