Interesting theory but it'll make more sense as a jonrya than jonsa given that it was in Arya's pov. Why do you always do that, you have good concepts but it gets ruined when you bend it to jonsa. Like Arya is clearly the girl in gray and now she was taught how to bring back her husband with a spell!! Could it get anymore perfect? Whatever I'll just use this for my own jonrya theory and maybe if you see it you'd actually understand what it's about
Tumblr media
Actually yes, it could be very much more perfect 😂😂😂😂 but have you ever considered you or any other jonarya haven’t come up with it because… it has no kind of pertinence with jonarya?
Food for thought, I guess, isn’t it?
Have fun skulking around the jonsa fandom and sulking, and stealing, I guess. To each their own thing!
Have a good day.

I love Jon Snow, but him and Arya just can’t be together. We have a whole ass other man named Gendry who’s literally perfect for Arya, while Jon is her brother. I don’t care that they’re biologically cousins and not siblings but the are siblings regardless. It’s just wrong. My only real criticism towards ASOIAF, is GRRM’s first original outline of the books. The fact that he originally wanted Arya and Jon to have feelings for one another while also inserting Tyrion as having one sided feelings towards Arya is just a really terrible outline. The “romance” between two siblings (adopted or not) is just as bad on its own. I’m speaking as an adoptee myself. Doesn’t matter that they aren’t biologically siblings, it’s just wrong. I don’t even think the relationship would be a healthy one whatsoever. Jon is going to end up with Val, and Arya with Gendry. No weirdness between Arya and Jon. I legitimately believe that George is trying to trick people into thinking that Jon might be in love with Arya and that Arya could later on fall for him, but I’m really not seeing it all, and I refuse to, especially when Arya can have someone like Gendry. Seriously. Also Arya gets shipped with way to many characters. She would be so embarrassed and ashamed honestly.
Asoiaf/got fans are way too accepting and apologetic towards incest lmao. Also, cousincest is bad, but imagine using cousincest as your argument for it “not being that bad”.

Sansa and Jeyne are the only people to call Arya ugly.
Meanwhile Ned, Jon, Gendry, Lady Smallwood, and the kindly man have all commented on her beauty, but this fandom ignores it in favor of two middle-school-aged mean girls who have to put Arya down to feel good about themselves.

My opinion on why people hate Jonsa so much: it's not because of the ship itself but Sansa being in a healthy relationship.
Sansa is shipped with her abusers that are old enough to be her father and apparently that's fine.
But when people ship her with Jon, a cousin relationship that is completely fine in Westeros, someone that she grew up with and close in age with and her getting married to will make sense political compared to her marrying men that are in much lower status compared to her, that's going too far.
Just admit that you don't like the ship because it allows Sansa to be equal to her partner, not her simply being a therapist to grown ass men that have admitted on multiple occasions that they wanted to r@pe her.

That black pearl sth was about her learning to become a courtesan (aka a whore as you say) after having her period (...speechless...) Do these people even like A? Wishing their fav, who is mind you an 11 year old, girl to become essentially a whore just because they want her to gain 'experience' and 'change' as required by their ship. Obv they think Jon isn't gonna fall for her as she is rn depicted in her latest Mercy ch. Never mind Jon isn't falling for her even if she becomes Maiden reincarnate overnight, bcz he isn't a creepy pedo, thinks she is a child, has never remotely described her in any way that implies attraction or romantic undertones (no matter how you twist it, at most A thinks he called her pretty sometimes, like her father), doesn't even feel attraction towards girls who look like her (Alys Karstark is a good example, she flirts with him but he isn't attracted towards her bcz she looks like A). Bonus: he is also turned off by Ygritte and Val's violent tendencies, and is attracted to them only for their looks (which are like Sansa) not their "warrior" natures (which are like A and D according to their fans)....
Calling J0nrya a ship is an insult to the concept of ship, at most it is a raft, floating bcz of support of Jon/aunt fans.
Hello Anon,
Previous ask: XX
I have nothing to add actually. You are right. They really live in their own alternative fantasy asoiaf world and they got angry at us for having a better interpretation of the series.
Their expectations from A is absurd but hey it's a fictional world and I don't care about what other fans are wanting but them bullying us for being more logical is what bothers me. If you think we are crazy then block us and move on... but they just want to shut us up because they don't like what we are saying and this is some pathetic and childish behavior.
A and Jon have a very normal sibling relationship and it's cool. Jon as a good big brother wants to make her happy by calling her pretty (like Ned: her father) because she is insecure about her looks and they think this is some FS for their ship. This is kind of sad.
I don't feel weird about Jonsa because they didn't have a normal and sincere sibling relationship... and they will redefine their new bond. But with Jon and A, they already have a solid and real relationship and it seems wrong to me that they try to erase that. Even the author himself shut down the J/A's so called FSs by pointing out the comfortable sibling relationship they had.
It is interesting that Jon tries to see A in Ygritte in order to feel comfortable with her (this comparing occurs less after he had to sleep with Yg btw) and later we as the readers see some similar traits between those two girls too such as violent tendencies or thirst for revenge and we can see that how these traits were the main reason why Jon could never be content and happy with such woman.
Jon himself doesn't know what kind of person A becomes in the books but we do and if anything this hints a possible future discord (temporary probably) between brother and sister. They should worry about that maybe.
I think fans should realize the similar approach of Jon's to A and Shireen. What he feels for Shireen is more similar to his feelings to A and it is sweet. And you can read in ADWD that Jon considers the both girls: children.
His thoughts about Val have been examined by our fandom before and they are all right.
Val gets his attention because she is pretty and strong-willed (who is also pretty and was very determined for her wishes, I wonder?).
Her motherly approach to the babies was sth Jon found endearing (who is acting as a mother to a boy who still needs breastfeeding right now I wonder? -> hint: someone who sang the GENTLE MOTHER hymn) and when her sweet compassionate motherly pretty girl illusion was shattered with her claiming that a sick little girl (poor Shireen aka someone Jon has brotherly feelings) needs to die, he was immediately took a dislike towards her (and guess which pretty maid came up with a plan to surround a sick little boy with protectors? -> hint: she is a secret bastard like Jon).
Btw I also find it absurd the people think his warrior princess in the tower words were about Sansa???
First of all, Sansa rescued herself from that tower without even fighting (she did it by saving Dontos, telling the truth to Tyrells and fooling Tyrion etc - so she survived one tower thanks to her compassion and intelligence- no warrior princess is needed).
and second of all: Martin was being a huge troll because Jon's own mother who was a WARRIOR PRINCESS couldn't save herself from a tower and guess what- poor girl died!! Jon was unintentionally dissing his own mother. So it was more about author being a huge troll, if you ask me.
I don't have many thoughts about Alys but yeah it was fun to read her flirting with him and he was like I am really busy right now with organizing your wedding.
For me Alys is important because she was the fake (?) grey girl who was running away from her evil uncle and her brother HARRY is THE real HEIR. Nothing to see here folks. But obviously A is the real GG because... Jon thinks so. He must be right.
You are also very right about the support they get from that other cursed ship because they have sth in common: They hate Sansa because she blocks their wet dreams. Her power = unmatched.
Thanks for the ask.

Jonsa Fandom: Jonsa is happening! Jon is not gonna end up with any1 else🖕
Jonerys Fandom: Jonerys is coming. But i won't mind Jonarya too. Obviously Jon was so close with her and if George was adamant on matching him up with the stark girl, it would be Arya. Jonerys foreshadowings that we pulled out of thin air, again goes back into nothingness we guess. All because Jonarya fans are soo nice to us and soo understanding. By the way, they too hate Jonsa and Sansa. Jonsas want mean girl to have everything but as per Newton's third law of motion, she deserves to be punished or else end up with sandor (for liking pretty things) or petyr ( for being classist) or Tyrion( for being abelist). That's why I love all these three pairings. However, no offense to those shippers. In no way me wanting Sansa to be punished and supporting your ships in any way correlated.
Jonarya Fandom: Jonarya is the best ship. I mean he got KILLED for her.... also beep beep original script was so clear on this. But I admire Dany, she is soo much like our own fave. Fighter girls. They won't wait for a knight to save them... Unlike you know who?... May be they will braid each other's hair who knows... Or do some other things too. I would totally love it if Daenarya happens too. Or a threesome with Jon Dany and Arya would be awesome. But Jonsas won't want that happen. They don't want many good things like people bypassing Sansa to crown Arya, Sansa dying a horrible death or staying up in the vale until she is an old maid(Actually they are not taking the present weather conditions in the vale seriously). So, back to our loved ones Jonerys. God's they are perfect. Their predictions are perfect, even if it includes Jon ending up with Dany..... Because we are always open to that possibility as long as he doesn't get involved with big sister

The way Sans@ns AND J0nyras both cling to BuT He HaS FAnArT and ThE OG OuTLiNe as bulletproof evidence for their ships being canon when grrm has ON THE RECORD said that he was surprised/unnerved that people shipped SS, and that Jon’s comparisons of Ygritte to A were based in “comfort level” of femininity… it’s pretty delusional.
it's the greatest sign that their little ships will never happen. they have no substance, not even the most surface reading of the books will give you any evidence of sansan or jonarya. no wonder they're always angry and trying to tear down sansa

jonrya 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I legitimately cannot stomach it as a romantic ship and not just because they're siblings who are close to one another but also because of the age gap and the way people take completely innocent, wholesome interactions and make them out to be romantic and sexual like it makes me ill. hate to assign levels of problematicicity to inc*st ships but this one's gotta be number one on the scale

I don't care if people ship Jonsa, but stop stealing content from Jonrya and somehow making it about Sansa when it's actually about Arya. And stop lying about Jon and Sansa's importance to each other.
Jon and Sansa rarely think about one another. Sansa thinks about Jon one time while pretending to be a bastard, and that was only after someone else brought him up. And that was the first time she thought about him since AGoT.
Jon, on the other hand, hardly thinks about Sansa either. It's Arya that he misses even more than Robb, and Arya who misses Jon the most out of all her siblings.
Jon compares Ygritte to Arya, not Sansa.
Jon wants to kill Ramsay for being betrothed to Arya, not Sansa.
Jon sends Mance to find the grey girl on a dying horse which was supposed to be Arya, not Sansa.
Jon was willing to forsake his vows to the Night's Watch for Arya, not Sansa.
Jon's favorite person in the world is Arya, and Arya's favorite person is Jon.

My Take on the Radiant Quote
Jon noticed the shy looks she [Myrcella] gave Robb as they passed between the tables and the timid way she smiled at him. He decided she was insipid. Robb didn't even have the sense to realize how stupid she was; he was grinning like a fool.
His half sisters escorted the royal princes. Arya was paired with plump young Tommen, whose white-blond hair was longer than hers.
Sansa, two years older, drew the crown prince, Joffrey Baratheon [...] Sansa looked radiant as she walked beside him, but Jon did not like Joffrey's pouty lips or the bored, disdainful way he looked at Winterfell's Great Hall.
- A Game of Thrones, Jon I
Let me begin by saying I don’t think Jon describes Sansa this way because of  a romantic interest in her. However,  I do think this quote is interesting because it describes their relationship in a different way and has other implications. One way to read this quote is by contrasting to how he sees about Myrcella to how he sees Sansa.
Objectively, both Sansa and Myrcella feel the same about the boys escorting them - flushed and lovestruck, but Jon calls Sansa radiant and Myrcella insipid and stupid.
The reason for this could be multiple things:
he’s notes how happy she is (notice he doesn’t talk about Arya’s appearance - which is probably either disappointed, disgruntled or neutral - most likely because Sansa’s happiness is so vibrant)
a side observation might be that he’s never seen Sansa look so happy?
he’s happy that she’s happy (calls her radiant when he could have mocked her admiration by calling her insipid)
This leads me to believe that their relationship isn’t as bad as people usually interpret it to be. I think they had a fairly neutral relationship but didn’t have much to bond over (he’s into swords, she’s into embroidery he was a punk, she did ballet, what more can I say) and with contrasting personalities, tended not to gravitate towards each other. So, a neutral but respectful relationship considering their own duties, roles and how they spend their time (which was mainly in different social circles).
Now, the people Jon most frequently remembers are his father (for obvious reasons) Robb and Arya.
First, let’s begin with Jon’s relationship with Robb.
Robb, his rival and best friend and constant companion;
- AGOT, Jon III
Jon told the story of how he and Robb had found the pups newborn in the late summer snows.
Robb and Bran and Rickon were his father's sons, and he loved them still, yet Jon knew that he had never truly been one of them.
Jon had often hunted with his father and Jory and his brother Robb. He knew the wolfswood around Winterfell as well as any man
- AGOT Jon IV
Jon was still not certain how he felt about it. Robb a king? The brother he'd played with, fought with, shared his first cup of wine with? But not mother's milk, no. So now Robb will sip summerwine from jeweled goblets, while I'm kneeling beside some stream sucking snowmelt from cupped hands. "Robb will make a good king," he said loyally.
- ACOK, Jon I
...so Robb and he used to climb the towers of Winterfell to shout at each other across the yard.
- ASOS, Jon VII
Once Jon had meant to prove them wrong, to show his lord father that he could be as good and true a son as Robb. I made a botch of that. Robb had become a hero king; if Jon was remembered at all, it would be as a turncloak, an oathbreaker, and a murderer. He was glad that Lord Eddard was not alive to see his shame.
- ASOS, Jon X
When Jon had been very young, too young to understand what it meant to be a bastard, he used to dream that one day Winterfell might be his. Later, when he was older, he had been ashamed of those dreams. Winterfell would go to Robb and then his sons, or to Bran or Rickon should Robb die childless.
- ASOS, Jon XI
You can't be the Lord of Winterfell, you're bastard-born, he heard Robb say again. And the stone kings were growling at him with granite tongues. You do not belong here.
A son was something Jon Snow had never dared dream of, since he decided to live his life on the Wall. I could name him Robb.
- ASOS, Jon XII
It reminded him of warmer, simpler days, when he had been a boy at Winterfell matching blades with Robb under the watchful eye of Ser Rodrik Cassel
- ADWD, Jon VI
From the above quotes, we see that Jon’s memories oscillate between feeling fond and mildly resentful/jealous of his brother. They’ve been together the longest and had the most in common but Jon was constantly aware of the distance in status between them. And when you consider the fact that Ned wanted Jon to have the best education possible, Robb and Jon had more reasons to spend time together but his status as a bastard in comparison to Robb’s as the heir of Winterfell, does seem to hold him a little back from having a bond as close as the one he has to Arya.
Now Jon and Arya almost seem to have too many reasons to be close. From sharing the Stark look (which in the books, only they share and which may have made Jon feel a little better compared to Robb) to feeling out of place (Jon as a bastard and Arya not wanting to conform to traditional femininity) and having common interests (fighting, mainly). Add on to the fact that Arya is almost just as likely to inherit Winterfell as Jon? Yeah, they have every reason to be close.
And Arya … he missed her even more than Robb, skinny little thing that she was, all scraped knees and tangled hair and torn clothes, so fierce and willful. Arya never seemed to fit, no more than he had … yet she could always make Jon smile.
AGOT, Jon III
Something about her made him think of Arya, though they looked nothing at all alike
ACOK, Jon VI
She wasn't wed and her weapon of choice was a short curved bow of horn and weirwood, but "spearwife" fit her all the same. She reminded him a little of his sister Arya, though Arya was younger and probably skinnier
ASOS, Jon II
Jon Snow sank to one knee in the snow. Gods of my fathers, protect these men. And Arya too, my little sister, wherever she might be. I pray you, let Mance find her and bring her safe to me.
But what if Arya was not there to be saved? What if Lady Melisandre's flames had told it true? Could his sister truly have escaped such captors? How would she do that? Arya was always quick and clever, but in the end she's just a little girl, and Roose Bolton is not the sort who would be careless with a prize of such great worth.
ADWD, Jon VII
He wanted to believe it would be Arya. He wanted to see her face again, to smile at her and muss her hair, to tell her she was safe. She won't be safe, though. Winterfell is burned and broken and there are no more safe places.
Wherever he might send her, though, Arya would need silver to support her, a roof above her head, someone to protect her. She was only a child.
“Once Cregan gets a child by me they won't need me anymore. He's buried two wives already." She rubbed away a tear angrily, the way Arya might have done it. "Will you help me?"
ADWD, Jon IX
It had been so long since he had last seen Arya. What would she look like now? Would he even know her? Arya Underfoot. Her face was always dirty. Would she still have that little sword he'd had Mikken forge for her? Stick them with the pointy end, he'd told her. Wisdom for her wedding night if half of what he heard of Ramsay Snow was true. Bring her home, Mance. I saved your son from Melisandre, and now I am about to save four thousand of your free folk. You owe me this one little girl.
ADWD, Jon XI
Compared to Robb, every memory Jon has of Arya is positive. He emphasizes their similarities and feels protective of her as she was the closest family member to him (and he still thinks of her as a child in ADWD which is why Jonarya makes me feel more than a little uncomfortable). He sees her in everything and everyone because she’s directly tied to his happiest memories and is his closest tie to the Stark family.
TL: DR - So, the reason he reminisces about Robb is because he grew up with him (and was a similar age to him, had the same education and also shared a father) and even more with Arya because they related to each other the most and had the Stark look (especially Arya because he doesn’t have the attached semi-resentment of Robb becoming the lord of winterfell, because it’s what he’s always wanted).
This doesn’t mean that Jon and Sansa’s relationship was awful or horrible or that they hated each other. Just that Jon has more memories and similarities to Robb and Arya.
Moving forward, I would like to see them develop a closer relationship (once they reunite - I’m tentatively in the camp of Grey Girl Sansa -  through their own reciprocal experiences (Jon, from bastard to Lord Commander, and Sansa, from Lady to Bastard), learning the value of home (both Jon and Sansa were most eager to leave, albeit for different reasons) and coming to appreciate each other’s compatible but different skill sets.

Related to my unpopular opinion thing:
Daenerys is a character that I hate and like at the same time.
- She makes you question politics and morals which is the reason I like her.
- She is entitled, user of tyranny and manipulation but also is an hypocrite with some help of some serious fire power which makes me hate her.
My unpopular opinions are more a way to adress the sense of cult that follows the character and the fact that people make excuses of everything because Dany is the alleged rightful heir to a throne that doesn't belong to her family anymore but also because they have very strong opinions on how their vision should be an universal truth to the fandom, shipping is heavily included when I speak of their vision.
This doesn't come from a Jonsa fan, or a Jonrya fan or whatever Jon-pick-anyone-else fan. It comes from a fan of the show first of all but mainly from someone who has enough of the excuse "those jonsa fans are always throwing hate" because most of the fucking time the so called hate comes from any other type of fan that doesn't agree with your vision of the show and you use the jonsa bomb because they are the easiest to blame since they envision a very probable vision that could be translated on the show instead of yours.
Quick reminder, its not the fans that write the show or the books, no matter how much hate/discussions you throw.
In my personal opinion, I would love to see Brienne on the throne but you don't see me attacking the entire fandom just because my favourite giant is not accepted by everyone as the future ruler of the 7k.

Not to be a Complaining Bitch but I wish there was more Arya Stark content w/o j*n or d*ny in it; it seems like these days, both in the name search and in the tag, the only content that shows up either is about j*narya or d*ny x j*n x arya and TBH its so annoying ~ she’s more interesting than her potential relationships (theories I might add), guys. Or the big five theory, cuz to reduce GRRM’s story to five characters (who dont even touch all the plot lines so.....) based on an outline he said was greatly simplistic and that he changed and expanded on..... TBH thats one of the reasons I post more Sansa content (even though I adore them pretty much equally; arya more in the books, sansa more in the show) in general; theres just more of it thats not related to shipping, at least lately or when you search her name

I hope the anti on your "Jon founded the Sansa Stark fan club" post doesn't bother you too much. I love how you contrasted Jon's perception/treatment of Sansa with her siblings. So striking! Also, I love that the anti thinks that Arya being Jon's favorite sister somehow detracts from Jonsa. Yes? We love that? We are very happy with that? We do not want Sansa to be his favorite sister? We want her to be his wife? I thought we were very clear about that! lol!
Hello Anon,
First of all, Thank you for the compliments🤗
The fact that there are legit humans out there ( not only Anti-Jonsa but also pro Jonarya) who truly believe that Jon being the closest brother to Arya before AGOT as some kind of a disadvantage to future Jon/Sansa relationship is truly laughable. I don't know since when it has become a pre-requisite for a couple to have a sibling bond before falling in love with each other? Lol😆
And that Anti was trolling me that Jon only thinks about Sansa like 5 times in the whole series. True but the catch here is, the WAY he thinks about her not the actual count that matters. Most of Jon's memories about Sansa are something that you would expect from an outsider like Theon, not from her own half-brother.
Especially, "Sansa brushing Lady's coat, singing to herself" appears to be a private moment of Sansa. And Jon did not only pay attention to that, but also later recalled that as his fondest memory of her before his stabbing was so telling.
He once thinks that " he even misses Sansa" as if he doesn't expect to miss her at all. He may have been right too, given the circumstances. You just don't miss someone with whom you don't have much interactions. But I would like to assume that subconsciously he misses watching Sansa from afar, the way she sings to herself, the way she shed tears for "stupid" stuffs, the way she gets mesmerized by scenic beauty... In a nutshell, Sansa being herself( which Jon of all people, doesn't think as being stupid at all).
Thats is why, I think it is worth shipping this beautiful pair.
Tumblr media
P.s: Thank you for your concern about that Anti anon. But it's alright, I am bored anyway. And watching these trolls tripping over themselves to dismiss "Jonsa" as a delusion is really entertaining.
