Okay, so, obviously, because darlin is darlin, they're gonna be insecure about their skin starting to wrinkle.

Alexis's words really do start to get to them as they age, and Sam hasn't aged at all. Darlin' is terrified that Sam thinks they're gross but is too nice to say anything about it.

Meanwhile though, Sam is actually very insecure about him not aging, and is a kinda jealous of darlin'.

He thinks its amazing the way their skin starts to portray life. The lines on their face mark different journeys and shows they they've lived. But Sam feels like his skin looks like he hasn't lived, like he hasn't been able to experience that same joy that everyone else has. Which is why sometimes he'll just hold Darlin's face and start stroking their face with his thumb, subconsciously tracing the gorgeous wrinkles on their face.

Now if you wanna makes this extra angsty, you could say that Darlin' has delulued themselves so hard that they believe that Sam is stroking their face in memory in how their skin used to look, which effectively feeds into their insecurities ♡

sorry still on this topic. i just don’t know how we’re acting like q put the whole issue to rest. okay he talked about the payment thing maybe what he said was enough to deal with the issue for you. but what about the nda thing?? is the jay statement supposed to be accurate in that regard? what about not allowing people to speak to one another? what about the apparent issues with french admins and ccs alike? and what about the fucking no controversies rule that not a single person involved with the server has provided an explanation for?? like i know i’m ranting into the fucking void but were there not concerns other than the intentional wage theft that haven’t even been acknowledged outside of the unauthorised jay statement???

I’m not crazy (at least I think I’m not) but idk what you call a person who refuses to sleep even if it’s 5 in the morning and has done nothing but scroll through hundreds of posts of Blanche and Dorothy on Tumblr just to fangirl all over for them because you're too overwhelmed by their chemistry and the feeling just makes you hyped even more to the point where you can't sleep anymore because you're too excited although your eyes are burning from staring at the screen too long……
