what font/size do you use when writing a fic or like how do you format it on Google Docs or whatever you use

I always write my fics in EB Garamond (size 12) w/ one inch margins! I also always have a weird title for the doc that makes my google drive very hard to organize and a little bold title in the left corner so future me knows wtf is going on when I open the doc later. and then I also always write my fics w/ html coding (for italics/bold/centered), as you can see in this screenshot!

So, remember all the descriptions of Halt getting beaten so badly he was almost unrecognizable in book 7? Well, for some reason, my brain refused to process that amount of blood and bruising, which means instead I always pictured those scenes something like this, which may have been worse for me

okay bear with me for this one

ransom is from toronto right? (i dunno if its canon or not but its canon to me)

toronto road trip experience to the east includes the big apple. for non south-ontario folks this is the big apple:

its a restaurant and store and bakery and souvenir shop and petting zoo and mini golf all rolled into one. it is weird and about 1hr east of toronto and it is a cultural experience.

ransom and his grade 8 grad trip to ottawa stop at the big apple, family trips to anywhere east of toronto include at least pointing out the apple, maybe even stopping there for treats.

now picture with me justin oluransi who thinks this is normal and brings it up someday at the haus and has to pull up pictures of this big red orb with a smiley face on it, shitty losing his mind a bit. bitty is unfazed, have y’all not seen the wacky stuff southern states have?

and then as a follow up one day he and holster stop there on their way back from their niagara falls trip back to samwell (*hand waves at plausible geography*) and bring pie back to the haus and they have a big old pie rating contest between the big apple and bitty (bitty obviously wins)

Likes to mess around with different edible recipes because he knows Rory prefers them to smoking. I'm currently reading a book that isn't a traditional retelling, but does have the story of orpheus and eurydice as an ongoing throughline in the book and

A. this book is making me chew tinfoil because it is SO good but also B. It's made me realize that one of my main issues with many retellings on the market right now is that so many myths are fundamentally stories about grief, and so many retellings are simply not interested in the grief
