X, Y, & Z!
lol hey just remembered that i had these from dec 19th lol i think i was just so mentally unwell at the time that i couldn't actually process the fact that i had asks and was capable of answering them even tho i literally reblogged the ask game lol anyways was going through my drafts and saw this and i'm MUCH better now so i went through and found the game and imma do it now <3
x - a trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.
hahhaahhaha character with an inferiority complex learning/being told that they're enough on their own/when those characters get in character content made of them ijuhygtfguiouygf because a lot of times they get misinterpreted or ignored </3 also. hanahaki <3
y - what are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
OH! my number one secondhand fandom is wwdts thanks to @chasvchalilah <3 i have my Guy (colin robinson) and i feel like i basically know the whole plot thanks to shira and her incredible patience for all my questions and her kindness in telling me like. literally everything lol actually this reminds me i think the colin post shira tagged me in is in my drafts and that i actually forgot to reblog it. hm. gonna go find it after i post this lol also csm because grace watched it and i know it's not really a show that i'd like so i'm living it vicariously through them and moth and the other csm moots <3
z - just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)
ah this is dangerous omg okay oh gosh okay what do i choose okay so this is a very random thing to rant about, but it's fan-related so. but i lowkey hate in chatfics how writers always give characters different contact names. more often than not, i look at them and say "they would never choose that name" / "they would never name that person that" / "they would throw a fit if their name got changed to that" and like. it's just so irritating. i honestly think most blorbos would just call each other by their names in their contacts like. and if you're going to give them "silly" names (bc most times they just... aren't even funny to me personally), they don't even specify who is who! most of the time, i see them say something MAYBE at either the beginning or end of the first chapter and then usually never again even if the characters start changing each other's names! so it's just hard to keep up. i actually love chatfics and think they're such a cool idea and a great creative writing exercise, but they HAVE to be done right because they can go poorly/ooc SO quickly. not all characters use correct grammar, but some do. some will use capitalization and punctuation while others don't. some characters will use emojis or send memes and recite memes, OTHERS WON'T and you NEED to be able to figure this stuff out. also it is SO unrealistic for all the characters to constantly trauma dump because half these characters refuse to "show weakness" or don't know How to talk to people about what's wrong. oH AND ALSO not all characters are so unhinged in chatfics my God the way people write certain characters in how they text and what they text is so icky because it's just too unhinged we gotta stop giving characters that treatment ugh uh anyways also kenji is underused in the show and underrated by fans. there should be more kenji content. also unpopular opinion, but kenji is a more interesting character than chuuya and how does chuuya have like... 20k more fics in the chuuya tag than kenji has in his own tag? nothing against chuuya - i like him! i do! but why is he treated more like a main character than kenji:( maybe i'm just sad bc kenji is my favorite and barely has ANY content. there are SO few kenji-centric fics out there and a lot of them also are kenji & chuuya friendship which... admittedly, i LOVE but i feel like there's more kenji & chuuya than kenji & the ada members which is so sad??? also he deserves better in the show! smh he wasn't even in the s5 trailer (neither were junichiro and naomi ugh so upset about that) like pls. let everyone treat kenji more like an important member of the team bC HE IS😭

Are you alright love?🥺 Read your tags, just checking if you want to talk about it? If not, no problem, just sending you alllll the hugs in the world💞💗💜
Tumblr media
Hello, Liyah, my light, how are you? 🥰
Thx for checking on me, it means the world 🥺🤍.
And yeah, I'm fine now. It's just a frustrating story.
I used to have very strong acne when I was young. Like, right as puberty hit me at 11 or 12. And I LOVED to pop them. Because I was a kid and the popping was very satisfying. The problem was: you should NEVER pop them because it can spread germs and stuff all over yourself and it can infect and it just generally makes everything worse.
So, when I was 14, we consulted to find a solution so that my stupid ass wouldn't destroy my face. The solution found was that I should go on birth control. A VERY STRONG ONE. The thing we didn't know, besides all the very dangerous side effects of birth control that that pill in specific increased, was that I (or anyone really) was only supposed, for safety reasons, to take it for 6 months. Instead, I took it for 5 FUCKING YEARS. And my doctor DID NOT FLINCH in letting me take it for that long. Naturally, that had consequences.
So 2 years ago, I started having really strong periods with incredibly painful moments, especially on my right ovary. Of course, I went to the doctor. She was very difficult to talk to, did not fucking want to test me for anything or request any exams. It took her me NOT HAVING A PERIOD FOR 5 FUCKING MONTHS to finally accept something was deeply wrong and test me.
Unsurprisingly, I had a cyst on my right ovary. Her solution? "Let it pass, it'll go away". Spoiler: it didn't. After 1 year suffering and complaining while nothing being done, I checked a different doctor who figured out the cause was probably my birth control. Shocking, I know. So she told me to get out of birth control. The thing is: you can't just stop taking it. Especially one that's so strong. But because the pills were prescribed by my public doctor I needed her approval for it and also for her to support me through the process.
Needless to say, she wasn't happy and didn't want to "because what if I got pregnant". Ah, yes, because that was TOTALLY the first order of business in that moment when I had been almost 7 months without a period and was suffering from immense pain because of a literal ball of evil inside me. Sure, yeah, that makes sense. So I threatened her with a lawsuit. Hence, I am now out of birth control. And, consequentially, out of cyst. It vanished in 2 months and my period's back to normal (and way less heavy and painful).
I also asked her to check my fertility (not that I care cause I don't ever want to be pregnant but just because I wanted to make sure so that my complaint about her was accurate) and the exams came out positive, I can still get pregnant and all seems normal and regulated.
But it was a struggle. It was more than a year of pain because people prescribe and recommend birth control for no reason or in incorrect ways. I'm not a woman, of course, but society def sees it that way and I can't help but just correlate this with how careless society and the medical industry are towards women. It's like it doesn't matter what happens to them. Especially when the beneficiary here (because heteronormativity, of course) are men, who can have unprotected sex and not father a child, regardless if the woman has a fucking cyst and feels like dying for a week every month or not. Absolutely heartless. Women are worth nothing in our world.
Anyways... Hugs to you too and thx for always being so nice and caring for my issues. It truly means a lot. 🥰💜 I hope you know that if you ever need someone to vent to or just to talk to I'm here for you as well. All the love 💜💜💜.

Azriel ~ Irresistable*
Azriel x Reader
* = NSFW. EXPLICIT CONTENT.
Summary: Whilst training with Azriel, you make one too many ‘innocent’ mistakes and his resolve wavers with each one until he can’t take it anymore.
Warning: NSFW, forbidden romance, teasing, shitty writing with no sense, out of character azriel, piece of crap - posting anyway aha

"You need to tighten your core" Azriel instructs, voice soft and unjudgemental but aggravating nonetheless.
"I am tightening" I grit from between my teeth, working with all my waning strength on moving along the balance beam.
Azriel and I had been training only for a couple of weeks now after I'd finally decided I wanted to learn how to defend myself or at least be able to hold my own until I could get to safety. However, my insipid mortal reflexes and strength was making it insanely difficult to learn anything.
Considering my being the remaining mortal sister of the Archerons after thankfully being on a short trip to see a friend at the time my other sisters had been kidnapped and turned, it seemed like an even better idea. Especially to my overprotective older sisters. Sometimes, being the only human around definitely sucked and others, like when my sisters got roped into Fae bullshit...it definitely didn't.
It did really suck I wouldn't find a mate, though. That sounded incredibly...convenient.
"You may think you're engaging your core but you're not" Azriel says, moving slightly closer, his shadows surrounding him in the soft dawn light.
"You know what, if this is so easy then-ah!" I squeal as I fall off the beam, stumbling slightly and gripping the beams surface to keep from slipping as my feet land hard on the floor, ground shock reverberating up my legs, "Ugh, this sucks!"
Azriel chuckles softly, "You'll get it."
"It doesn't feel like it" I grumble
Azriel comes up behind me, placing one large hand across my stomach, pushing against it softly, "You need to act as if you're sucking in your stomach, belly button to spine."
I do exactly that, my stomach concaving in, forcing his hand to slip from my stomach and back to his side and Azriel laughs - a big, joyful chuckle, the loudest I'd ever heard from him.
"Was that a laugh?" I smirk, quirking one eyebrow
"I do laugh, you know."
"Not often...and not around me."
"Focus. We're not here to discuss my social habits. Now, I meant internally. It may sound strange but visualise it in your mind and then pull your stomach in and hold it. You'll feel it."
My smirk slips and I nod, focusing. I do as he instructs and though he is right, it does feel strange, I definitely feel it in my stomach, an odd and uncomfortable tightening sensation as if my stomach was benching a weight.
"Ow" I pout, releasing my stomach, "I don't like that"
"You'll get used to it" Azriel smiles, "Now, come on, back up on the beam and try again"
"Will you catch me if I fall?" I tease, my smirk returning. Though he may be over 200 years older than me, strictly off limits because of his being a completely different and dangerous race from me and completely emotionally unavailable, it didn't mean I couldn't flirt.
"Of course" Azriel responds, tone all business. I roll my eyes slightly as I hop back up onto the beam, one foot in front of the other.
Squeezing my eyes slightly against the pressure, I perform my weird suck-in thing to engage my core, taking a tentative step forward...and finding it suddenly way easier. Gaining confidence, I take another step forward, and then another, each one coming faster and faster until...
"I did it!" I giggle, reaching the opposite end of the beam and jumping off, "I actually did it."
"Well done" Azriel commends, his ice-hewn face slightly broken by a small smile, "Next beam"
"Already?" I gulp, looking over my shoulder. The next beam was higher up then the first, the top of it reaching my chest. I turn back to him, gesturing to the lower one, "Can't I just do this one again?"
Azriel says nothing and I sigh, moving over to the other beam and grabbing a couple step blocks to get up to the beam. Heaving myself up and onto the beam, I wobble softly and a small, startled squeak escapes my lips before I regain my balance.
"You really will catch me, right?" I ask nervously. Again, no response omits from his lips, just a short nod of which I couldn't tell was either actually in answer to my question or instruction to get a move on.
"Okay" I breathe, closing my eyes and stilling my body completely, performing the process of engaging my core slowly, each muscle at a time until I felt so tightly wound even a sharp shove couldn't knock me from my feet.
I take a step forward...then another...and then I slip.
My foot hits the side of the beam wrong and in an effort to stay up, I attempt to pull it back on rather than letting it go and placing it behind my other foot, bending at the knees as I was taught to do and had done many times on the lower beam. I scream and squeeze my eyes shut tightly as I tip backward, flailing my arms out as my back heads for the ground.
As if in slow motion, I turn my body as I fall, instinctively positioning to catch my fall with my hands - a rookie mistake. A pair of strong hands encircles my waist as I turn and without thinking I grab onto him, securing my body to his in every way possible to stop my fall. I grunt as one of my feet lands hard on the floor, ground shock again erupting through...one of my feet?
I open my eyes and find myself in the strangest position...Azriel's face was before me, his arm hooked underneath the crook of my right knee, holding the one leg up whilst the other was placed upon the floor as normal, my hips pressed against his.
"You really did fall in the most difficult way possible" Azriel says, voice deep and gravelly...as if straining.
It's then I notice Azriel's stance is crooked, his weight tipped to one side slightly as if weighed down...I gasp and almost send myself flying again as I realise what exactly I'd done in my attempt to escape a painful landing.
My knee was grazing his right wing, my left arm tightly wrapped around his neck with my elbow brushing the inside of his left wing and my right hand was placed entirely on the soft membrane of the inside of his right wing, my fingers splayed across the shimmering surface and pressing lightly onto it, the way one would place their hand on a surface to maintain balance.
Points of contact everywhere with Azriel's wings...Azriel's sensitive wings.
"Oh my...I'm so sorry" I gasp, pulling my leg out of his grasp and removing my arm from his neck, my hand from his wing, until I was standing before him. Closer than I'd ever been before, his eyes boring into mine.
"You couldn't have just fallen backward?" Azriel says, his voice still rough and strained, "I would've caught you."
"I know, I-" I stammer, "I didn't think, I just acted on instinct. I don't know what I was thinking. Are your wings okay?"
"They're fine" Azriel frowns softly, "Why wouldn't they be?"
"Feyre's told me before to be careful of your wings, to make sure I keep away from them because they're really sensitive...are they not?" I redirect as his confused frown deepens.
"They are but not in the way you seem to think" Azriel explains, "It doesn't cause me pain, which by the look on your face, I assume is what you think."
"It's not painful?" I breathe a sigh of relief, "Oh thank the forgotten gods...but if it's not a painful sensitivity, why do you seem so tense? Well, tenser."
"While it's not painful, it is still sensitive. The sensation is hard to explain but it just provokes a different...reaction."
"What do you mean?"
"It's too hard to explain. How about I show you the approximation of what it feels like to a non-winged being and then you tell me the reaction you have."
I nod, a little nervous about the slight gleam in Azriel's eyes, a knowing one...
Leaning forward, Azriel breathes softly into the shell of my ear, lips trailing sensually along the outer edge as his large hand ghosts down my spine in soft, light movements, his fingers barely touching the skin but sending shivers all the way through my body. My eyes go heavy lidded and instinctively, I grip his bicep to hold myself steady, neck tipping back slightly to expose more of my neck as his breath gusts over the sensitive skin, his hand coming to rest on the small of my back to keep me from falling on my ass. A small noise escapes from my throat.
In a lighting fast move, Azriel pulls me to rights and releases me completely, stepping a good few paces back. Breathing heavily, my eyes open and meet his and I imagine our expressions to be almost exact. Flushed cheeks, glazed eyes, chests rising and falling so agonisingly slowly as we attempt to keep our breathing even and failing completely.
"Woah" I breathe, "I definitely get it now."
"You can't do that, Y/N, damn it!" Azriel growls and I straighten further, lust filled haze vanishing.
"Do what?" I gape
"Make me-" Azriel says and then stops himself, "Never mind. Today's session is over"
He turns on his heel to leave but I run after him, meaning to grab his shoulder...and accidentally gracing the back of his wing again.
Damn it, dumbass.
Azriel releases a frustrated growl and whirls on me, pushing me back into a nearby wall, his hands on my waist, eyes staring into mine.
"That"
I was still confused. This was the only time I'd ever touched his wings...
Seeing my confused expression, Azriel presses closer, his body pressed to mine, something hard pressing into my-
Oh.
"I...I wasn't aware I" I stumble over my words, "I wasn't aware it was something I'd done more than once."
"That's a lie and you know it" Azriel huffs, "Stop feigning innocence."
"I'm not feigning anything!" I protest. I truly hadn't meant to turn him on. Now or any other time. Feyre and Nesta and Elain had all made it clear I shouldn't get into it with Azriel...Gods, even Rhys had told me to keep away!, "Why does it even matter? We're both adults, we can just move on from-"
"You don't get it, do you?" Azriel growls, "That I've wanted you every moment from when I first saw you, that Feyre and Rhys gave me this lecture about duty and responsibility and the different race bullshit and ordered me to stay away from you. The only reason I was allowed to train you is because I swore it'd be training and nothing more!"
"I'm...I don't know what to say to you except that I didn't know anything about any of that."
"I swear you're my own personal hell on Earth." Azriel sighs, shaking his head, eyes hard and cold as flint.
"Wow, thanks" I scoff sarcastically, offended, "I wasn't doing anything intentionally."
"That may be even worse" Azriel concedes, "Knowing that anything you did wasn't intentional means if you truly tried to make a move...I would fall at your feet and beg you for just a second of your time. For one moment between-I shouldn't be entertaining this idea."
No, please go on.
"It doesn't help that I can smell you every time you enter a room. It's like you specifically-"
"Wow, so now I smell?" I huff, "Perfect."
"Not that kind of smell. I can smell it on you now."
It?
Well, sure, I was sweaty but I'd just been working out. Although I'd cooled a bit now, with all the slow and steady lust-filled contact we'd had-
Oh...again.
I remember Nesta telling me once to be careful with any time I spent...with myself because the males could smell...
Could smell arousal.
"Oh" I say aloud this time, "That."
"I could swear you would touch yourself before each training session just to drive me insane with what I can't have-damn it, stop it!"
"Well I can't really help my body's reactions when you talk like that" I defend, that warm and tight feeling in my stomach building, eyelids fighting not to fall.
"Try" Azriel suggests weakly.
"If the past few weeks of my unintentional seducing you wasn't proof enough, I clearly can't do that."
"What has been with you recently? You're aroused all the time."
"I don't know" I blush, "I just...have been. Besides, it's not like I have someone I can go to here to...relieve myself of the frustration so I'm all I've got."
Azriel's jaw clenches, eyes ablaze with a hungry fire.
"Why can't we...I mean, why am I so forbidden to you?"
"Feyre and Rhys say...well, I don't know. It doesn't matter about their reasons, their my High Lord and Lady. If they order me to do something, I obey."
"Is that something you can't fight?" I ask, eyes trailing up and down his body, "Like a magical side effect stops you?"
"No, it's an honour thing-" Azriel stops short, recognising my intention, "Okay, I know you're doing this on purpose now"
"So what?" I whisper, "It's not like I'll tell them anything...and there's no one out here to witness for at least a few hours."
"Hours?" Azriel chuckles, "What makes you think you can handle that?"
Cocky now, huh?
"I'm almost certain I probably can't...but I'm more than willing to try."
Azriel's erection grows larger, pressing insistently upon my upper thigh, "Y/N...I can't"
"Yes you can" I say, "Something tells me you're just as good at getting in your own way as Feyre and Rhys are. I'm more than capable of making my own decisions and I would be lying if I said this isn't one of the fantasies I've used to help me out when I'm alone."
The sound of Azriel's teeth grinding against each other makes me smile. I don't know where this sudden confidence came from - perhaps from knowing how badly he also wants this. Maybe it was fate's way of making something that was always supposed to happen, happen. By removing my nervousness and forcing Azriel to think his way out of his own mental purgatories.
Azriel, still fighting his own mental battle, pants softly and I lean forward, trailing a long line up his neck and along his jawline with my tongue. My hand drifts up, reaching for the tender inside of his wing-
"Don't. Do. That" Azriel grits out, hand gripping my wrist and pushing it back against the wall, up above my head, the other arm quickly following, "Don't start something you can't finish."
"Who said I wasn't planning to finish?" I smirk
"Gods, you'll be the death of me" Azriel sighs, leaning closer to me. I could already tell the battle was lost, he was just clinging to the last scraps of will he had left.
"What was that you said earlier? That you would 'fall at my feet and beg for just one moment between...' What were you going to say?" I tease
"Shut the fuck up" Azriel growls, his lips pressing to mine.

Product Testing- George Weasley
Pairing: George Weasley x fem!reader
Summary: George and his girlfriend have fun in the shop after hours.
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: smut, 18+ themes, light bondage, daddy kink, dirty talk, squirting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Fred, go ahead and leave! We are capable of locking up the store!” I said, pushing Fred towards the door.
“But what about-,” he started.
“We can do it. What we can’t do is save you from the wrath of your hot girlfriend if you’re late to another date,” I said.
“She’s right, you should get going before Angelina puts you out on the couch again,” George laughed.
“Fine, fine! I’m going!” Fred said, grabbing his jacket and finally heading out the door. We watched as he turned the corner, before continuing with our closing duties.
As I was on a ladder, dusting a high shelf and reorganizing products, the curtains on the windows in front were drawn in quickly. I looked and saw George had his wand out and had drawn them shut.
“What are you doing? We don’t normally do that until we have to leave?” I asked.
“Come down here,” he said sternly. I furrowed my eyebrows and descended from the top of the ladder.
“What’s up?” I asked. Instead of answering, George grabbed my face and crashed his lips hungrily onto mine. Moaning slightly into the kiss, I kissed back with the same ferocity. His hands trailed down to my waist massaging my hips before sliding a hand underneath my skirt to hold my hip. He bunched up the skirt and stepped back, looking to see what I was wearing underneath.
“You wore my favorite pair of underwear and expected me to not fuck you senseless?” He laughed, snapping the silky fabric against my hip.
“I forgot I was wearing them,” I admitted.
“Well I didn’t, every time you got up on that ladder or bent over to pick up something I had to restrain myself,” he growled, kissing me again.
“Who says you have to restrain yourself now?” I teased.
“Exactly,” he said, his large hands grabbing my ass and pulling me into another heated kiss. I moaned into the kiss, snaking my hands up his neck to tug lightly at his ginger hair.
“In fact, I was hoping we could try out a new product,” he said as I kissed down his neck, my fingers working at the buttons on his shirt.
“George, we already know the love potions won’t work on me,” I said.
“No, these are um, new products. Adult products if you will,” he smirked.
“Oh, what are they?” I asked.
“Well, how do you feel about being tied up?” George said.
“I’m interested,” I said.
“So we got these ties that will attach to anything, so people could be restrained without needing specific bed posts or something like that,” George said, heading to the back to find the tester.
“Let’s test them out,” I said, sitting on the counter. George held out two of the red ribbons for me.
“Put these on your wrists” he said. As I slid them onto my wrist, George slipped the other two onto my ankles. Once the ties were on me, I started unbuttoning my shirt, shrugging it off my shoulders. Sliding my skirt down along with it. George just watched me with his mouth gaping open.
“What? I don’t trust you to not rip up another uniform and I’m tired of buying new ones,” I said.
“I’m not complaining. Fuck, you’re so beautiful,” he said softly, standing between my legs and pressing a soft kiss to my lips. “Remember the safe word?”
“Pluto,” I said, confirming the word.
“Now let’s see how well these things work,” George said, stepping back. He aimed his wand at my left hand and muttered a spell, suddenly sending my arm back towards the edge of the counter, my right hand soon following it. He then muttered the spell while pointing at my ankles, sending the ribbons down to the floor and spreading my legs open.
“How’s that?” he asked. I tugged against the ribbon to test its strength. It didn’t move, but it had enough give so that it didn’t hurt me.
“Pretty good,” I said.
“Fuck, you look so beautiful, all tied up like this,” George breathed out, his hands tracing the length of my thighs. He pressed a harsh kiss to my lips, massaging the outside of my thighs.
His hands moved from the outside of my thighs to my inner thighs, dangerously close to my dripping pussy. My hips moved upwards, trying to find contact where I wanted it.
“Patience baby,” George said, moved his hands back down towards my knees.
“Please, Georgie,” I moaned.
“That’s not my name,” he whispered into my ear before lightly tugging it with his teeth. It’s not often that he enters a more dominant space, but when he does he goes all out.
“Please… daddy,” I moaned out.
“What do you want, baby?” He asked.
“You,” I sighed.
“You’ve got me already. What do you want me to do?” He asked.
“Touch me, daddy,” I begged, looking up at him. He smirked and brought his hands back to my inner thighs. His thumb pressing against my clit gently before rubbing slow circles around it. His other hand reached up to cup my breast, his thumb rubbing over my hardening nipple.
His hands then moved my underwear to the side, rubbing his fingers in my wetness.
“Hmmm, who’s got you so wet baby?” George smirked.
“You, you do daddy,” I moaned as he brushed over my clit again.
“Is it good when I touch you here?” George said, brushing my clit again.
“Fuck yes,” I moaned out, trying to buck my hips up to meet his hand.
“Ah ah ah, stop moving like that. I’m in charge here,” George said, pulling his hands away.
“I’m sorry daddy,” I said, hoping he would return his hands.
“Just don’t let it happen again,” George said, moving to stand behind me. He pressed soft kisses along the back of my neck, slowly pinching and pulling at my hardened nipples. My breathing deepened as one hand slid back down to my soaking core, gathering some of the wetness before slipping one finger into my pussy.
“Oh thank you daddy,” I moaned out as he pumped his finger into me.
“Such a good girl for me,” George whispered into my ear, his hot breath leaving shivers down my spine. He slid in another finger, stretching me as his other hand came down to rub my clit.
As soon as I involuntarily bucked my hips, George’s hands were off of me and I was begging for him to put them back.
“Please! Please daddy! I was so close,” I whined.
“Too bad darling, I told you not to move like that again and you did anyways. I’m not sure if you should be allowed to cum,” George said, walking back to my front.
“Please please please daddy, I’ll be a good girl,” I begged.
“I don’t know, Maybe I should leave you like this, that way anyone who wanted to use you could have a go with you. Would you like that?” George smirked, playing with the ribbon of the restraints on my wrists.
I couldn’t even form an answer as I watched George take his long, hard cock out from his trousers, stroking it. I just moaned in response, desperately wanting him to fuck me into the counter.
“Hmm, would you like that? Being a good little slut for the store? Letting people eat your delicious pussy and suck on those gorgeous tits,” George said, rubbing his cock against my slit. “Or even fucking your tight little pussy?”
I moaned out as he slowly slid into me, watching his cock disappear in me.
“Oh fuck daddy, you’re so big,” I moaned out.
“And you’re taking me so well, such a good little slut for daddy,” he said, grabbing my neck and pulling me in for a harsh kiss. He didn’t put pressure on my neck, but the action alone was enough to edge me dangerously close to the edge.
“Daddy please, I’m close,” I moaned.
“Already? I’ve barely done anything,” he teased.
“Please daddy, can I cum?” I begged, tears in my eyes from holding back.
“Cum on daddy’s cock baby girl,” he growled, slamming his hips into me. I cried out as I came, my legs shaking against the restraints. George didn’t stop though, he continued pounding into me. Grunting as he fucked me the hardest he ever has, bringing his hand to rub my already overly sensitive clit.
“Come on, I know you can do more than that,” he grunted, making me see stars.
“Oh fuck, fuck, fuck!” I cried out, trying to move my hips away as I had the most intense orgasm of my life.
“Holy shit,” George said, coming down from his own high. “I didn’t know you could do that.”
“Do what?” I asked breathlessly, trying to calm my shaking legs.
“Baby, you just squirted,” George said in awe. Before I could respond, George’s mouth was attached to my incredibly sensitive pussy, licking up whatever juices he could. He then kissed up my body, pressing a harsh kiss to my lips as I tasted myself in him.
“I...Well, wow,” I breathed out, “I think it’s safe to say this product is safe.”
Uh unsure how many characters you’re willing to write for but can I have the SDC crew reacting to seeing their crush’s sketchbook filled with drawings and silly comics of them? On the case you do have a limit on how many, then I’m fine with either Polnareff, Kakoyin, Jotaro or Avdol (who can pick whoever if you want to!) Hope you’re having a lovely day!💕💕
This is such a cute idea anon, hope you like it. Also I don't really have a character limit, I wanted to do all of the crusaders but then I got tired and it already took me such a long time to finish it and ahhh. Sorry for all the grammatical errors, English is not my first language and it's already so late when I'm finishing it and it's just bleh. I hope you like it anyways, sending much love to you anon! ♥️
Stardust Crusaders finding their crushes' sketchbook
Jotaro Kujo
He notices that you've been spending most of your free time drawing in that sketchbook of yours. Truth be told, it bothers him a lot. Jotaro has had a big fat crush on you for a while now, and he secretly longs for your company. He can't admit that tho, he has a hard ass bad boy reputation to maintain after all. What would people say if the saw him all flustered for a girl? The fact that you would rather sit by yourself and draw than be around him and the others bugs him. So one day, when you're busy with something else, he takes your beloved sketchbook and decides to see what's in there. He knows he's being creepy, but he couldn't care less. Just trying to get to know you better, without actually talking to you. Exactly.
He's very flustered but would rather die than admit it. Has read through all of it, admiring every single little drawing. After he's done, he'll just put it back where he found it, it the exact same place just so you don't notice someone has been messing with it. You probably have no idea he had seen your sketchbook at first, but you surely notice the blush dusting his cheeks whenever he speaks to you from that day on. Probably avoids you for a little while because he's so flustered.
The rest of the crew also notices something is off, Jotaro is always lost in thoughts and smokes more frequently. He can't keep himself from thinking about those cute drawings of yours, reading through your comics was a true delight. It fills him with glee to know that HE, among all of the crusaders, is the one who's the main character in your stories. It makes him giddy on the inside.
His secret eventually comes to light one night, he accidentally admits to having read through your comics while a late night talk between the whole group. While you were talking, Kakyoin had brought up the topic of your sketchbook. Now it's your turn to be embarassed, blushing crimson while trying to get as much information out of him as possible. How much did he see? Did he read through ALL OF THEM?
The rest of the crusaders are shocked at first, but quickly they start to laugh at the scene. Jotaro is reluctant to give any information, but he eventually tells you that yes, indeed, he's seen EVERYTHING. However, doesn't admit what the content of the sketchbook really is. Despite everything, he would never embarass you like that.
After everyone goes to sleep, you catch Jotaro before he has a chance to fall asleep, lying on his sleeping bag while looking at the night sky. You want to apologize, say anything, just to talk to him, but you're unable to find right words. He just sighs.
"Yare yare daze, there's no need to be embarassed [Y/N], I'm not mad"
Your eyes light up at his words. You want to say something, anything, thank him, but before you get a chance to do so, Jotaro's deep voice cuts you off.
"To be honest, I think your drawings are amazing. I really liked them" you notice his face is slightly tinted red from underneath his cap "But if you wanted me to model for you, you could've just said so"
With that, he rolls over and away from you. Completely baboozled, you roll over as well and try to sleep, or at least pretend to be asleep. Honestly, neither of you had slept much that night.
Kakyoin Noriaki
Kakyoin had a thing for you since you joined the crusaders, and your sketchbook is probably the very first thing he had noticed about you. He's always been interested in art, his parents had signed him up to numerous art courses and whatnot through his life. He's always loved drawing and painting, using it as an escape from his daily problems, and seeing that you two might have something in common makes him incredibly happy, especially since he has feelings for you.
He'll try to approach you about your sketchbook very subtely, afraid that he might scare you away by being too pushy. Of course you get extremely flustered everytime he brings it up, but it doesn't discourage him. Kakyoin respects your boundaries and understands that you might not be ready to show him your drawings yet. Despite that, he's always willing to share his knowledge with you. He'll give you advices about proper shading while you two are waiting in the hotel lobby for the rest of the group to finish up picking rooms. During a long car ride, he'll talk to you about his favourite artists. If you want him to show you how to put certain shading techniques into practice, he'll be more than happy to do so. He'll just pick a random piece of paper and start drawing on it, you might want to lean in closer and maybe put your head on his shoulder to get a better look? He has no objections! Just sayin.
When he eventually gets to see your sketchbook, this man is so honored! He didn't mean to look, at first he though it was just some book lying around and wanted to take a look inside, out off boredom. Once he realizes what he's reading at, his face flushes with crimson. Your sketchbook is filled with sketches of him? This whole time you were actually drawing him, out of all people? He couldn't be more grateful that no one else was around, if someone saw him reading through your comics with this stupid smile on his face and red cheeks, they would've though he went mad.
Kakyoin wastes no time trying to find you. For a moment, he thinks that perhaps he should've waited a bit, just to get you alone and not embarass you infront of the whole crew. He can't think straight though, his mind filled with your cute little drawings, with his face drawn with black pen over and over again. With glee, he notes that you had used the very techniques he had told you about earlier. If you had drawn him so many times, does it mean that you have a crush on him too? It's too good to be true.
"[Y/N]! Can I talk with you for a minute?"
He goes to confront you immediately. Others give him a puzzled look, but he couldn't care less. He grabs your arms and leads you away.
"Don't be mad [Y/N], but I've seen your sketchbook and I have to say, I think your art is beyond amazing!"
You're at loss of words, your face red and you could swear that you've never felt so embarassed in your whole entire life. However, his reaction is making you feel a bit better. He's not mad, nor is he making fun of you. If anything, he seems enamoured.
"Please, [Y/N], we should draw together! Maybe next time we have a chance, I should paint your portrait?"
Despite the awkwardness, the whole situation turns out amazing in the end. How he's sure you must have feelings for him, and it makes him incredibly happy, hoping that one day, after your crusade is done, he'll get a chance to repay you and make that promised portrait.
Muhammad Avdol
With everything that's been happening lately, Avdol gets a little bit distracted from you. Before he would steal glances your way all the time, watching with curiosity as you would draw something in your sketchbook. Recently, he's been too busy fighting enemy stand users and... well, trying not to die. He still cares about you a lot and watches over you during fights, ready to shield you from danger with his own body, if it's what it takes to keep you safe.
It probably happens because of a mishap. While you are deciding on your rooming, you leave your sketchbook lying next to Avdol's things and go to the bathroom. After he's done helping Joseph with translating and getting everything done, he goes back and assumes that it's just one of his books that has fallen out of the bag. Not thinking much of it, he picks it up and leaves with Mrs Joestar to settle in their shared room.
You can imagine the panic and shock that nearly paralyzes you once you notice that your beloved sketchbook is gone, nowhere to be seen, reduced to atoms! You begin to look around frantically, looking under the furniture while sweating profusely. Other quests give you weird looks, but you don't even notice them staring. Polnareff is one of them, he asks if you're okay and tries to calm you down, but to no avail. After he leaves, you try to focus really hard and try to remember - when did you see it last time? It was on that chair for sure when you left. God, you can only pray that it doesn't end up in Avdol's hands somehow...
Meanwhile, Avdol is getting ready for shower and goes through his bag. He notices the book he picked up from the lobby isn't even a book, but a sketchbook! Now he's sure he must've picked it up by mistake, he decides it would be best to put it down and not look through it. It's someone's very personal art after all, it would be very disrespectful to - wait a damn minute, is that HIM?
Long story short, he goes through a good portion of your drawings before Joseph comes out of the shower and gives him a puzzled look, seeing how his eyes are literally shinning with adoration. He puts your sketchbook back into his bag, acting as if nothing happened and continues on with his nightly routine. Later on, when Joseph is already fast asleep, he contemplates about whether or not he should go to your room right now and ask about the sketchbook he had found. He's already suspecting it's yours, whose else would it be? He has seen you drawing often, could it be that you returned his feelings and had spent your time sketching him? Ultimately, he decides to wait until tomorrow to find out.
The very next day, he knocks on your door early in the morning. It startles you awake, running up to your door to look through a peephole, seeing a muscular man on the other side. Sighing heavily, you unlock the door and open it just a little bit.
"Excuse my intrusion, [Y/N], but I have found something that I think belongs to you."
Now that's embarassing. You see your sketchbook in his hand, a wide, knowing smile on his face. He knows it's yours. All it took is one look at your stupid red face to figure it out. God, he can read you like an open book, can't he? While you reach out to take it from him, your fingers touch just slightly.
"Don't worry, I swear I won't tell anyone about this" she winked at you, which almost made you gasp "If anything, I think I should maybe pose for you in private? So you can get a better look? You should think about it..."
Who would've thought this man could be such a flirt sometimes...
Jean Pierre Polnareff
You better watch out, because if this man has a crush on you, you bet he would go above and beyond to find out what's inside that sketchbook. I'm not joking. He forgets what personal space is, he's even worse that Jotaro, because while JoJo would make sure to be sneaky, Polnareff wouldn't even bother. He'll try to catch a sneak peak by looking over your shoulder while you're drawing, constantly asking you questions about art related things, everything always leading to your sketchbook.
He wants to know what's inside. Simple as that. You're like an enigma to him, I feel like all women are mysteries to him and he always works towards finding out what their secrets are. You are especially interesting to him, because of how secretive you are with your art. He's captivated, and while he never had any interest in arts himself, he had always fancied himself as a man with a great sense of beauty. That being said, he's always trying to get your attention while talking about how "France is a wonderful country for artists! You should come and visit after our crusade is over, [Y/N]! I'll show you all the greatest museums and art galleries!"
He's like a puppy, following you around and being just a bit too pushy. If you tell him you feel uncomfortable, he'll back off of course. He's not just some juvenile pervert after all! He's a honourable man who would never touch or bother a woman without her permission, no matter how desperate he seems sometimes.
When he finally sees your sketchbook, it's probably because he did it on purpose and not because of an accident. He wanted to make sure that it was him your were capturing in your drawing, and boy was he happy when he saw what's inside! It's all him, cute little sketches, little comics, it's better that he could've ever imagined! He's literally crying the tears of joy while reading them. Before it was all just wishful thinking, but now it turns out to be true! He's honoured, admiring every single little drawing with hit tears streaming down his face. He must look pathetic right now, if anyone was around they would think the was a mad man. He gets up and runs away with your sketchbook in his hand, trying to find you.
"[Y/N]! Ma cherie! Mon coeur! My love, my life! We need to talk!"
Did i mention that he doesn't shy away from nicknames? Yeah.
It's probably the worst confrontation compared to the rest of them, he's not subtle like Kakyoin and decides to talk with you about your drawings right then and there, in front of everyone. At first they're surprised, looking at Polnareff as is he was crazy, but slowly their shock is replaced with amusement. Joseph doesn't even try to hold back his laughter, while the rest of the crew is trying to keep it cool as not to embarass you any further while the Frenchman is just going on and on with his declarations of undying love. It's a bit dramatic, one of these moments that you will probably laugh about in the future, but you felt like disappearing right then and there.
"Your drawing are magnifique! [Y/N], my love, if you wanted to draw me, you could've just said so! Although I don't think I deserve to be potrayed by you, to be drawn by your skilled hands, ma cherie!"
You snatch the sketchbook from him. After that incident you probably try to avoid him, but he won't give up! He's more determined than ever, knowing that you feel the same way as he does fills him with hope, hope for a future life with you that is! He won't give up until he makes you the happiest woman on earth.
Hehehehe I was bit hesitant to post this but it’s too gold not to share it! Plus, it’s a great contrast to this interview as he was being mature discussing acting in depth and overall, just serious(but cute haha). This one is light hearted (also bit cringey) as it talks about his past crush, Love letter, ‘snogging’ aka kissing(!!!!) and Romeo and Juliet, it’s more gossipy in a way? But I wholeheartedly love this interview, he’s so adorable.
So, I hope you also like this as well:D
*warning: there’s a slight mention about suicide and shooting!
"Robert Sean leonard's Lip Service..." (My Guy & Girl Interview Feb 1991)
Robert Sean Leonard's Lip Service...
What a kiss-and-tell merchant this boy is!
Robert couldn't wait to talk about snogging...wet ones, ones that make you want to puke! Eee...yuk!
But first we wanted to find out what he'd been up to since Dead Poet's Society and what his new film Mr and Mrs Bridge is about.
So Robert, what have been doing since Dead Poets Society?
"Oh, I filmed that a little over two years ago now. At the moment I'm in the stage production of Romeo and Juliet with the Riverside Shakespeare Company in Manhatten. I've also just made a movie called Married To It. I hope the title will change 'cause I don't like it very much. It's about three couples and I play the husband who's married to Mary Stuart Masterson. Cybil Shepherd is in it too.
"For a While after Dead Poets I went back to college. I took a year off and did some theatre. I also wanted to wait for a good film. A lot of the films that came my way were just typical teenage American junkie films. I waited and waited for something special until Mr & Mrs Bridge came along. I was so thrilled to get it."
What is it about then?
"It's about a family at a time before the war when four individuals spoke up, rebelled. It's sort of the last family unit in America where father knows best. The children don't have any rights-because they're the children.'
I play the strong silent type, who rebels when his father won't let him join the army. Paul Newman plays the father, and he's just such a brilliant actor. To me Mr and Mrs Bridge is about the importance of communication.
Going back to Dead Poets, is it true you got the part because you were unknown?
"Yes. The director, Peter Weir, had the talent and the guts to tell Touchstone pictures that he didn't want any famous actors. I was 19 when I got the part of Neil Perry, but i'd been working on stage in New York for five years before that-I started young.
"I still remember the weekend when we filmed the shoot-it was really depressing, just like the whole film. I'm just glad I didn't have to shoot myself on screen-all that mess!"
Was your school much like Dead Poets? All those stuffy traditions and horrible uniforms?
"My school was very, very, very different. I went to an ordinary public high school. It was much less restrictive. And we didn't have to wear uniforms. At my school there were the metalheads, leatherheads, deadheads and band fags -and I was a leatherhead, wore all the biker gear!"
So you were a rebel just like Neil then?
"Ha ha ha! Well I wasn't exactly a goody goody, thats for sure! I suppose I was a bit of both really. I was so focused on acting I didn't become too rebellious as a teenager. Besides I got to rant and rave on stage every night.
"But I was never at school that much anyway. I had to leave lunchtimes to go to the theatre. Strangely I didn't have many good friends like "The Society" But I did get along with everyone. There were a lot of similarities between Neil and myself, though. His passion for acting and learning. But unlike his parents, mine were, and are, incredibly supportive. The Dead Poets Society still get together you know. Most of the guys from the film live in New York and I've kept in touch with them all. There was a real camaraderie between us on the set that's carried over.
What subject did you hate the most at school?
"Well I loved things like history but my worst subject was gym. I always 'forgot' my trainers. I mean I like sports, but it's just that i'm such a miserable failure at them.
Did you get lots of Valentine cards when you were younger?
"I got a lot of cards at school, but not since. Actually I got a Valentine card last year from a fan, a girl in London would you believe. I don't know if I'll get any cards this year, but it would be nice. Am I sending any this year? Ahh Now that would be telling....!"
Have you ever sent love letters?
"I've never sent a love letter to someone I didn't know. I sent a secret one at school. There was a girl in High School that I had a heavy crush on, for four years! But I never had the guts to ask her out. I wrote her a card and I actually quoted a Blues Bothers song. 'I have everything I need, almost, but I don't have you. And that's the thing I need the most'. But I didn't sign it. She may have thought someone else sent it.
So, who was this lucky girlie, then?
"Her name was Joanna, she was my first big crush. From 13 to 17! She never ever knew 'cause I was really shy...I still am! Her last name was Lenz, so her locker was right next to mine, Leonard. So I got to see her every morning when we got our books. I did talk to her, and tried to make her laugh. Her house was pretty near mine too. I had a few pretty late nights where I'd go and sit on her lawn. She didn't know, but i'd just sit on the grass and think. I suppose that's just a normal thing about growing up."
Have you met her since you've become a famous filmstar?
"Well she moved to Florida when I was 17. It was the last I heard of her. Maybe I'll see her at our class reuinion. In America you always have a five-year reunion when you're 22 and you go back to school. I don't know if I'll still fancy her though..."
What first attracts you to someone?
"When I was 13 it was simply the way a girl looked and talked, and moved. Those things are still important now. But also someone who can make me laugh and talk about the same things and who has the same dreams"
What is your favourite romantic movie?
"It has to be 'Singin' In The Rain' I just loved the dancing and the scene where Gene Kelly sings to Debbie Reynolds in the studio. I'd love to do something like that, but I don't think I'd have the talent for it.
Have you, erm, heard of the word 'snogging'?
"Ha ha ha! That's a really English word. If you had asked me before I'd done Romeo and Juliet, I wouldn't have had a clue! But our stage director is English.
There's this one scene in Romeo and Juliet, the kiss goodbye, and he used to snap his fingers and shout "Come on, come on you two, we don't want this to be a snogging session"."
Do you remember your first snog?
"My first proper girlfriend used to play the piano and I played the guitar...we used to play music together (we'll bet!). That was when I had my first real kiss. I was terrified! She blew me away. There was a lot of fumbling, not knowing what to do. I remember kissing, then feeling nauseous (ie. wanting to puke). I just wanted to go home. I didn't feel pressurised into doing it, or anything. I just felt strange 'cause it was something new. In some ways I wasn't quite ready for it. Like it was something you're expected to do. But it's kinda hard to tell a girl you feel nauseous and you want to go home!!"
What's your biggest snogging turn-off?
"Gosh! Well it really turns me off when girls kiss wildly, when they try to swallow you. Or when their mouths are wet. I prefer it when it's relaxed and tender."
Have you had any other dating disasters?
"Not lately. I'm much to busy for girlfriends just now. But there was something in Romeo and Juliet, though. On the opening night I was in the tomb and I had to kill Paris then go and talk to Jiliet. I realised my dagger was missing, and she needs it to kill herself. So I just had to stop the show. I just looked at the audience and said 'Er, excuse me, but I've just lost the dagger! We'll have to stop until I find it'.
So I looked and looked until I found it...underneath Paris actually, who was lying dead in the corner. So I put it back in my sheath and said 'Okay, move on!"
Are you a good Romeo?
"Yes, indeed. Luckily I didn't have to climb up the wall to the balcony or anything.
Shakespeare really made an error at that point. If Romeo and Juliet touched or kissed in the balcony scene I think Shakespeare would surely have written about it. Whereas there's no indication where they touch at all. Did I have to wear tights? Oh, yes, I had to wear them all right. I've worn them before too. You get used to it. You forget you're wearing them after a while." Could be dangerous that...
So first, I just want to say that I love Mortified, especially the arcs involving Ereshkigal and Innana. The whole thing is absolutely incredible, and I'm always thrilled to see an update. Second, I was rather hoping to offer you a prompt I've had swirling about my head. What if there is some sort of research facility exploring "that which is unknown and previously thought to be impossible" (i.e. magic but they don't call it that because people don't really know about magic and ghosts in this AU) and Danny's class is invited to go on a field trip there. At first, everything is normal, but just after the class leaves the researchers realize that their instruments show that some sort of Eldritch Horror is nearby and they start freaking out, but it's just Danny. I don't know where else this would go though.
Mr. Lancer chewed on the end of his pen.  It was a disgusting habit, he knew, but he could never quite get himself to kick it, especially when he had a problem to confront.
Said problem was, presently, that enough of his students had expressed an interest in careers in ectology and paranormal science that he really had to give them a relevant field trip.  Unfortunately, there were very few reputable options for such a field trip.  The Fentons were unsafe, Axion Labs refused to give tours, the GIW were essentially a government sponsored hate group.  Most other ‘ghost hunting agencies’ were outright scams.
But there had to be something nearby.  Or at least in the state.  Maybe not something that explicitly or solely dealt with ghosts, but something.
Maybe...
Oh!
He shifted to sit straighter in his chair.  That would work.  He started typing an email.
.
“We got a what?” repeated Johannsson.
“A field trip request,” repeated Deer.
“Like... from a school?” asked Johannsson, cautiously.
“A high school,” confirmed Deer, sounding rather stunned.
“Do they... know what we do here?”
“Evidently,” said Deer.
“Like, they know we research magic and telepathy and stuff.”
“Yes.”
“And astral projection, higher-dimensional beings, alternate universes, that kind of thing?  Fringe science?”
“He says the junior class is interested in the ‘paranormal sciences.’”
“Wow,” said Johannsson, finally bringing his coffee up to his mouth and sipping at it cautiously.  “Where,” he started, “where are they from?”
“Um,” said Deer, peering at her computer screen.  “Casper High.  One sec.”  She started typing.  “It’s in Amity Park?  Do you think it’s a joke?”
“Ah,” said Johannsson.  “No, that tracks, actually, if it’s Amity Park.  We’ve got some weird readings on file from there, if you look it up.”
“It’s close,” said Deer.  “If we get readings, why don’t we have a presence there?”
“Another agency called dibs first,” said Johannsson.  “We have enough trouble.  No need to step on toes.”
Deer looked up at Johannsson incredulously.  “We fight eldritch abominations from the edge of reality,” she said.  “Is the boss really worried about stepping on toes?”
“Hey, that’s how we get funding,” said Johannsson, shrugging.  “We don’t want to end up like MKUltra.”
“MKUltra was a scam, Steve.  And also mostly illegal.”
“Yeah?”
Deer shrugged.  “Anyway, should I send this on, or...?”
“Yeah, go ahead.  The boss will probably get a kick out of it, if nothing else.”
.
“I would not have told the boss about this if I knew I’d be the one babysitting a bunch of teenagers,” said Deer through a clenched smile.  She jerked on the hem of her blouse, not used to the more formal clothes she was wearing on this momentous occasion.
“Yeah,” said Johannsson, “but it isn’t like we get a lot of people coming into this profession for this profession.  And they’re kids.  So be nice.”
“I’m always nice,” grumbled Deer.
“Well, look like it,” said Johannsson, elbowing her.  He caught sight of the yellow school bus.  “Here they come now.”
They waited until most of the students had gotten off the bus to approach.
“Hi,” said Johannsson, “you must be Mr. Lancer.”
“That’s me,” said the rather frazzled-looking teacher.  “Come on kids, let’s get settled down.  Listen to our guides.  Let them introduce themselves.”
“Yeah, hey,” said Johannsson, waving.  “Welcome to the Edge Institute, where we study that which is unknown and often thought to be impossible.”
“Hi,” said Deer, frowning at one group of students in particular.  Johannsson followed her eyes.
The trio in question didn’t seem particularly out of the ordinary.  Except...  Well, there was a reason Deer worked here.
“I’m Steve Johannsson,” he said, getting back on track.  “This is Sylvia Deer.  We mostly work in report processing and assessment, but that brings us into contact with all our other departments, so we’re more than suited to show you around.”
Sylvia put her thumbs up.  “Yep,” she said.
“Most of what we work with isn’t terribly dangerous, however, there are exceptions to that rule, and we have some classified projects, so don’t wander off.  Stay within view of us at all times.”
“What if we need to use the bathroom?” asked a student.
“Well, that’s different,” admitted Johannsson.  “We’ve got a couple scheduled stops, so make sure you go at those times.  Other than that, don’t go through any doors we don’t open for you and don’t touch anything without asking first.  Got it?”
There was a soft murmur of assent.
“Come on, kids,” said Mr. Lancer, clapping, “he asked a question.”
The murmur became slightly more unanimous.
“Right,” said Deer.  She jerked her head towards the building.  “Let’s go.”
“Anyway,” said Johannsson, “this is reception, which is the only part of the building freely open to the general public.  If you do need to go to the bathroom, they’re right there.  We’re going to hang out here for a few minutes, get everyone taken care of.”
Most of the students made their way to the restrooms immediately, however, that one trio stayed put.
“Hey,” said the smallest of the group, “do you guys hear that?”
“Hear what?” asked Johannsson.
“Um,” said the boy, slightly rocking forward on the balls of his feet, “there’s, like, an alarm or a siren going off?  It’s really faint, but is everything okay?”
“We’d get a text,” said Deer.  “Not to mention an announcement on the PA system.”
“And the radios,” said Johannsson, tapping his.
“Right,” said Deer, nodding.  “Maybe you have tinnitus or something?”
“Isn’t that recurrent, though?” asked Johannsson.  “He’d know if he had it.”
“I do not have tinnitus,” said the boy, firmly.  “I really think there’s an alarm going off.  Or maybe someone has a mosquito ringtone.  Gosh, I hate those...”
Johannsson glanced at Deer and noted that she, once again, was staring at the children rather intensely.  Mostly at the boy, but that made sense since he was the one speaking.
“Danny has good hearing,” said the girl, who was decked out in an array of gothic and mystic symbols.  One which, on closer inspection, would probably be fairly effective at passive protection.
Johannsson wondered if that was the result of research, intuition, or sheer luck.
Perhaps that was why Deer was looking at them like that?
“Maybe I’m just imagining it,” said Danny, shaking his head.  “Let’s go to the bathrooms.  There’s probably a line by now.”
Once the kids were gone, and Johannsson and Deer were more or less alone in the entry hall, Johannsson turned to Deer.  “Think we should call Detection?”
“Yeah,” said Deer, pulling out her phone.  “There’s something not right, here.”
“Maybe he’s a sensitive?” suggested Johannsson.  “He could be picking up a project.”
“Or maybe he’s like you and he’ll break every piece of tech invented in the last twenty-five years as soon as he touches it.  Or he was cursed by a goddess, like Vicky in Containment.  Or maybe he just has tinnitus and is in denial.  I still don’t like this.”  She finished dialing Detection and brought the phone to her ear.  “Hey, I-”  She pulled the phone away, glared at it and cautiously brought it back.  “What’s going on?  An incursion?  Then why aren’t we on lockdown?”
Johannsson’s blood ran cold.  “An incursion?  How big?”
Deer held up a hand.  “That doesn’t-  You know we can’t detect everything!  It doesn’t matter if nothing else gets triggered, the protocol is lockdown until we can determine- If you had done your job, the kids would still be on the damn bus!”
At this point, Deer’s shouts had drawn the attention and worry of Mr. Lancer and several of the students who had emerged from the bathrooms.
“Is everything alright?” asked the man.
Johannsson glanced at Deer.  “No,” he decided, just before the security shutters slammed down and the emergency lighting came on.  “I’m really sorry,” he said, “but it seems like some of our colleagues were overly excited about your tour and didn’t, er, follow proper procedure following a, uh, event.  So-”
The PA system stuttered into life.  “Attention.  A level seven entity has been detected.  All nonessential personnel, please proceed to the nearest shelter.  Repeat-”
“Seven?” echoed Johannsson, starting to sweat.  “Seven?”
“It’s probably a false alarm,” said Deer, putting away her phone and smiling in the way only people who feel very ill do.  “None of the other incursion detectors went off.  No radiation associated with dimensional breaks or anything.  We should still get everyone to a shelter.  Maybe you can round up everyone from the bathrooms?”
“Right,” said Mr. Lancer, who was enviably calm.
“Is an entity like a ghost or something?” asked one of the kids, who clearly weren’t grasping the gravity of the situation.  “How strong is a seven?”
Level seven entities couldn’t be described in terms of strength alone.  They were eldritch, uncaring gods that tore at the fabric of reality with their very presence, creatures that had no business being on the material plane.  They shed bright magic and dark science in their wake, leaving those unfortunate enough to see them grappling with madness that was not.
He really wanted to know what was happening in Amity Park (ghosts?) that made these people so blasé about the alarms, flashing lights, and security shutters.
Wait a second.
He unclipped his radio from his belt.  “This is Johannsson, calling detection.  Can you describe the signal to me?  Over.”
The radio crackled.  “Slowly rising over the last thirty minutes, peaking and plateauing in the last ten.  Why?  Do you have something?  Over.”
The bus had arrived ten minutes ago.  Johannsson closed his eyes.  “Maybe.  Will inform.  Over and out.”
He looked over at the bathroom where Danny and his two friends were emerging.  Danny had his hands pressed over his ears.  Whenever the overhead lights flashed off, the boys eyes reflected green.  Just for a second.
Yeah.  Johannsson had something.  The question was, what was he going to do about it?
“Solomon, I’m about ready to fight someone,” you seethed to the sorcerer as you glared up at his ceiling from your comfortable resting spot on top of his bed.
The entire situation was ridiculous. The brothers had been actively avoiding you almost all week, which was annoying enough, but today they had cut off all communication with you entirely. No one came down to breakfast, no one was in any of your shared classes, and no one even bothered to text you so you’d know what the hell was going on. If they were going to give you the cold shoulder the LEAST they could do would be to tell you why.
Instead, you were left to wonder what you had done wrong because surely there was some explanation for their behavior. After a full day of scouring your memory during boring classes (in which there was no one to distract you, unlike usual) you were still drawing a blank on what exactly you had done.
This only meant one thing: you were 100% innocent in this situation, and the brothers would never live this down if you had anything to say about it.
When you were about halfway back to the House of Lamentation after class your D.D.D. buzzed. Your heart nearly leaped out of your chest seeing that the notification was a text from Lucifer. It was the first time any of the brothers had contacted you all day! With any luck, you’d finally get some explanation as to just what was going on, and (if you were lucky) an apology. The second one is highly unlikely given that it was Lucifer who had texted you, but you still had hope. That is, until you opened the message.
After class, immediately go to Purgatory Hall. You will be staying there with the other exchange students until further notice.
A second set of buzzes followed the first, in case one punch to your heart wasn’t enough.
Under no circumstances are you allowed to return to the House of Lamentation without permission.
Excuse you? Were you seriously just told that you weren’t allowed in your own house anymore? Sadly, yes, that seemed to be exactly what had just happened, and Lucifer isn’t the sort of person that you’d argue with about an order.
But come on, you hadn’t even gotten an explanation!
With no other choice, you turned your livid butt around and marched (read: stomped) over to your new home, ready to tell (read: rant to) your fellow exchange students of the injustices you had been served as of late. As if Lady Luck wanted to send an ‘F U’ herself, Solomon was the only one in Purgatory Hall when you arrived. Not the beautiful and benevolent Simeon, or Luke, who you thought of as an angelic younger brother, but Solomon, with a fox’s grin that was far too smug for your liking. And, unfortunately, the smugness only grew as you lamented about how abysmally bad your week had been thus far.
“Oh, y/n,” he said, a teasing coo woven into his tone. Your attention shifted from his incredibly interesting ceiling to his incredibly boring head that he was propping up on his desk with his incredibly boring hand. Solomon may be one of your best friends, but you’d be lying if you said he didn’t push your buttons all the damn time. “You’re so naive to the ways of the world.”
“Sorry I’m not a fancy pants magic bitch like you,” you grumbled with no real bite behind your words. Would you believe he then had the audacity to snicker at you? Because that’s exactly what he did. It took all of your strength plus a little extra from the Big Man Upstairs to not clock the white-haired menace into next week. “Solomon, explain to me what’s going on before I do something I won’t regret.”
Ever the fake pacifist, he raised his hands in mock surrender. “Alright, alright, no need for violence. And, really, it’s your own fault that you don’t know about demon ruts.”
Silence filled the room, leaving you to sit there and drown in it as Solomon seemingly decided the desk itself would make a much more comfortable seat than his chair. With just those few words he had managed to switch your brain from operating on Google Chrome to Internet Explorer, and what is the next thing he does? Perches on his desk like it was normal.
After some time passed with you buffering and Solomon preening as if he had just been graced by God, you finally managed to spit out, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
More snickering. Try as you might, you couldn’t fight off the blush that had been steadily creeping onto your cheeks, so you instead gave in and decided to find out as much as you could. “You mean, right now, they’re at home—”
“Jacking themselves off on anything of yours that they can get their cummy little demon mitts on? Ding ding ding, you’ve guessed it! Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been in your room already. Having a—” calculating eyes swept your form from head to toe before continuing irritatingly hesitantly, “presumably fertile female so close is akin to torture when they’re rutting, so what remains of your pheromones are probably the only thing they can smell at the moment.”
Taking the high road for once in your little gremlin life, you chose to ignore the ‘presumably fertile’ comment and remained focused on the topic at hand: the brothers were going through a demon rutting period. “That is so unbelievably disgusting and hot at the same time.”
So some of your inner gremlin slipped out, sue you.
Solomon sighed as if he expected nothing more from you, white strands of hair falling onto his face as he pressed it into the palms of his hands. “Leave it to you to be turned on by the suffering of others.”
“Shut it, Solomon, you know what I mean.” Heat flared across your cheeks at the insinuation. You may be many things, but a sadist was not one of them; Lucifer had that title locked down anyway. “Dammit. What do I do, Solomon? Lucifer texted me saying that I can’t go back, so does he really expect me to wear the same clothes for however many days it takes for their ruts to end?”
“Probably. He’s twisted like that. Ooh, what if he’s getting off to the idea that you’re—”
Before you had a chance to cut Solomon off from finishing a sentence that would have undoubtedly mortified you to no end, a series of rapid-fire buzzes from your phone did it for you. You had patted both yourself and the area around you on the bed down thoroughly only for Solomon to dangle your phone in the air. Warning bells sounded off in your head loud and clear the moment you noticed his cheeky grin.
“I think you should put this one on speaker.”
With a flick of his wrist, your phone sailed through the air and landed on the bed next to you after you failed to catch it. Ignoring Solomon’s snort, you flipped your phone over to see who was calling you. The name, along with everything you had just discussed with Solomon, caused your pulse to pound in your ears.
It was Mammon.
Panic ran through your veins like liquid lightning. Should you answer it? There could only be one reason why he would be calling if he was rutting. Warmth shot straight to your core. Deep down, you realize that if he was calling you to ask for help, you’d say yes. Solomon cleared his throat and gestured at your phone, reminding you to answer before you lost your chance. Without hesitation, you answered the call, switching to speakerphone with a pointed glare from the man across from you.
Within seconds, breathy groans rang out from the phone. Your face flushed as you spared a glance at Solomon, who had donned a shit-eating grin, before your attention snapped back to the phone upon hearing Mammon’s voice. “Where are ya, y/n?” he whined. “I need ya so bad.”
Your teeth caught your bottom lip between them. “Lucifer told me not to come back for now, so I’m at Purgatory Hall.”
A string of expletives exploded from the speaker, although they died down as quickly as they started. When Mammon addressed you again, the pleading tone to his voice was in no way subtle. “Please. . . Please come help me, y/n. I need ya.”
“Mammon, babe, are you rutting?” Your eyes widened in horror while Solomon snickered gleefully; the question had fallen out before you could really even think about it.
You weren’t given much time to worry over it, though, as Mammon answered in confirmation, “Yeah. And everythin’. . . Everythin’ fuckin’ HURTS. It hurts so bad, y/n, please.” Images of some of your succubi and incubi friends flashed through your head. It would probably be best that a demon helped him through his heat. If you helped, you’d likely get hurt. You had just begun to offer to call one of your friends when your words were cut short with a growl. “No, dammit! I only want you! Only you, ya hear me, y/n?”
A milky-white hand clamped firmly against his mouth was the only thing preventing Solomon from alerting Mammon to the fact that you were not the only human hearing him at that moment, and that hand was getting dangerously close to not being enough to save the two of you. The thought of how Mammon would react upon finding the two of you out sent a shiver down your back. You could NOT let that happen.
Executive authority coursed through you as you turned off the speakerphone and brought it up to your ear instead; a curling lick of satisfaction in your chest was the only thing Solomon’s huff of discontent managed to elicit. “Okay, Mammon, I’m on my way.”
A pleased groan answered your words, followed by a click. You blinked a few times, waiting to no avail for anything else— he had hung up on you. Although you’re not quite sure what you expected (some thanks would have been nice) you couldn’t help but to notice how your body seemed to be thrumming with anticipation.
“Oh, you’re on your way, are you? You DO realize that if you go to help one of them you’ll have to help ALL of them, right? So are you stupid? Is that it?” the whirlwind that was Solomon accused, white brows furrowed in total scorn. “And here I was, thinking that you were a creature of intelligence. Oh, how it pains me to be wrong.”
Already on your feet, you pocketed your phone and smoothed out your clothes, ready to head to the House of Lamentation at any moment. After concluding that you were presentable enough to go have a demon rip your clothes off your body— a matter that you had grown incredibly serious about in a somewhat suspiciously short amount of time, as if the thought of being ravaged by the brothers had crossed your mind before— you turned to address the snarky sorcerer in the room. “You heard him, Solomon. He’s in serious pain right now, and he wasn’t going to accept anyone else’s help getting through it.”
“That’s a bullshit excuse and you know it,” he said in exasperation. “He’s a DEMON. He’d say whatever he needed to in order to get you there!”
Arguing with him was clearly going to get you nowhere. Instead, you stared down Solomon, daring him to continue trying to change your mind. It was a battle of the minds, and luckily for you, you happened to be one of the most bull-headed humans to ever grace the earth. After what couldn’t have been more than a few minutes, Solomon relented with a burdened groan.
“Fine, just let me cast a spell on you so you aren’t impregnated and obliterated, for the love of God.” His eyes searched yours imploringly. If you didn’t know any better you’d almost think that he was worried about you, but that would be a ridiculous idea. Still, you agreed, to which he let out a breath of relief.
Without wasting any time he crossed the room and took your hands in his own. Low mutterings in a language you didn’t recognize left his mouth, so you focused on the feeling of his hands; they were surprisingly soft and a bit bigger than you had previously thought.
A faint warmth and a corresponding tingling sensation started at your fingertips and soon encased your entire body, the tingling somehow reassuring as it raised goosebumps to the surface of your skin. Your eyes flitted up to Solomon’s questioningly, only for them to widen in shock— his eyes had gone entirely white and were glowing. Just as you were about to admit that his magic was actually pretty cool, it stopped.
The warmth and tingling disappeared, and Solomon’s eyes blinked back to normal. The only effect of the magic that you could feel was a particular humming sensation in your lower abdomen. That, and you felt like you could take on Diavolo himself and win, but that wasn’t a new feeling; an uncommon one, sure, but definitely not new.
Satisfied with his work, Solomon staggered a few steps backward before flopping onto his bed. “You should be good to go.” He propped himself up on his elbows, fixing you with a squinted stare. “You’re lucky I enjoy our banter, y/n. Can’t let you go and get yourself fucked to death, now can I?”
“God, don’t phrase it like that,” you said in a strangled voice, to which Solomon cackled and dropped onto his back once again. Just when you thought the two of you might have grown closer, he had to go and say something as mortifying as that. With renewed vigor, you scurry out of the room.
Solomon’s silvery voice echoed through the open door behind you. “Like what, the truth?”
He just managed to catch your snort before you walked out of earshot, leaving the sorcerer sprawled out on his bed, his chest heaving in deep breaths of air. The spell he had cast on you had taken quite a bit out of him. Now, he struggled to even keep his eyes open as waves of sleep crashed over him.
Would it normally take this much energy to prepare a human body for a demon rut? He supposed not, although it wasn’t exactly something he did except on the rare occasion, but he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that you wouldn’t just be dealing with one demon. There was something else, too. Something he couldn’t quite put his finger on.
Ah, well, it was sure to come to him after he had rested up again. The comforting blanket of sleep settled over him, as well as his own blankets after he slipped under their covers. Right before he entered dreamland, the vision of a glowing pact mark appeared in his mind. His eyebrows knitted together; was this a premonition?
However, the mark was soon swallowed up by the foggy mist of his mind, and Solomon drifted off to sleep.
Never before had you gotten to the House of Lamentation faster than you did today. Just going home wasn’t nearly the same level of motivation as going to get some demon dick, so you hauled ass in record time, weaving in and out of random pedestrians you encountered that were walking the paths around the Devildom. Your friends really were right: you had no hope of making it into heaven. The worst part is, they had no clue whatsoever how true that statement was.
You came to a halt in front of the dorm you had recently come to call home, your hands on your knees as you struggled to regain your breath. It took everything you had not to just collapse into a weary heap on the front steps, but the promise of what was to come was enough to keep you going. Instead, you took a minute to steady your breathing before climbing the steps and slipping into the house. Technically, Lucifer had forbidden you from coming home, so it would probably be best to not alert him to your unwanted presence.
Thankfully, you had plenty of practice tip-toeing around from all of the times you’d snuck out with Asmo to go clubbing. Lucifer would never know you were there.
As you snuck past the kitchen toward the hallway of bedrooms, the sound of the tap turning on freeze you in your tracks. With your heart in your throat, you slowly twisted your head toward the direction of the sound, hoping from the bottom of your sin-stained heart that the person responsible wasn’t who you thought it was.
There, his bare back hunched over the sink with a glass of water clenched tightly in his degloved hand, stood Lucifer. Although the mere presence of the man had you rattled, what he was wearing— or rather, what he WASN’T wearing— made you even more so. He had donned a pair of baggy grey sweatpants that rested low on his hips and had lost the rest, leaving little to be imagined. Little to be imagined of HIM, that is— the sight sparked plenty of thoughts on your part.
The temptation to slink away to Mammon before you were discovered was great, but the temptation of marveling this new side of Lucifer was greater; you steeled yourself and moved toward him.
His rut seemed to have taken quite the toll on him already, as his usually well-kept hair was now disheveled and somewhat damp as if he had just recently gotten out of the shower. A shiver ran down your spine as the image of Lucifer in his shower was plastered to the forefront of your mind. With much thanks to your abysmally short attention span, the thought was easily discarded when you noticed that his muscles rippled along his back with each movement he took: emptying his glass; placing it back down on the counter; pushing his hair back.
Even as he turned around and realized someone had joined him in the kitchen, you couldn’t find it in yourself to run for cover. Maybe you’d screwed up your survival instincts at some point?
“y/n?” Lucifer croaked, his gaze predatory as it raked down your form. Something akin to a harrowed smirk cracked across his face when you shivered at the intensity radiating off of him, yet it was soon replaced with a pained grimace. His hands clenched the edge of the counter behind him so tightly that his knuckles were white as he ripped his gaze away from you. “I believe I explicitly told you not to return here until you received further instruction. You disobeyed me.”
You’d be lying if you said that the commanding growl in his words didn’t turn you on. Hell, if anyone told YOU that you’d just laugh in their face because damn if that wasn’t the sexiest thing you’d ever heard. Not to mention the electrifying effect it had on your body; it was as if every fiber of your being was on edge right now, acutely aware of every single thing that Lucifer said or did.
You found yourself longing to press your body up onto his, to entangle your hands in his already messy hair and mesh your lips together while you hook one of your legs around his waist to keep him close as he slams you up against the counter—
The purposeful clearing of his throat snapped you out of your imagination. It’s odd for you to have become so withdrawn from reality, but you just chalked it up to it being a side effect from whatever spell Solomon had cast on you. Anyway, Lucifer had asked you a question, and while it may not have been the smartest decision in the long run, you were in no mental state to be pulling lies out of your ass. “Mammon asked me to come over and help him.”
“Oh really? So you’ve discovered our dirty little secret, but still came?” he hummed in thought, more to himself than to you. Some switch must have flipped in him as he had gone from very obviously holding himself back to slowly stalking toward you with a wolfish glint in his eyes. It was at that moment that your survival instincts kicked in and you took two small steps back for every one Lucifer took forward. Sadly, you seemed to have walked further into the kitchen than you had originally thought you did and soon found yourself pressed along the center table with nowhere else to run from the demon in front of you.
A pink tongue darted out from his mouth, wetting the bottom lip that it dragged along. Lucifer had you right where he wanted you. It took a total of three steps for him to close the gap between you two, his arms resting on either side of you to cage you in. Desire flickered in his half-lidded eyes as he stared you down. “Do you have any idea how dangerous it is for you to be here?”
You hummed in response, too fixated on how alluring his slightly-parted, flushed lips looked. Due to your intense focus on said lips, you didn’t miss how the corners of his mouth quirked up before he leaned forward and out of your sight. Your breath caught in your throat as his heated breath fanned out across your neck while he spoke. “You’re lucky that you ran into myself and not one of my brothers. Unlike them,” his hips met yours and instantly began to slowly roll, “I can control myself.”
The hardness of his length and the waver in his tone seemed to suggest otherwise.
A devious thought pushed itself to the forefront of your mind, one that you were all too willing to go along with. One of your hands ghosted down his chest, your nails lightly scratching his pale skin while the other snaked upward and caressed his cheek. Lucifer shuddered into your touch and bit back a quiet groan, his hips grinding against yours with a tad more urgency.
“What happened to being able to control yourself?” you asked breathily. With any luck, you’d be able to get his self-control to snap and he’d take you right then and there. Your thighs tensed slightly as heat shot to your core at the thought.
Then he pulled away and your entire mastermind plan came crashing down.
Lucifer stumbled backward, fingers pinching his nose tightly shut as he glared holes into the ground. Wait, do you smell or something? You could’ve sworn you had put deodorant on that morning. A discreet sniff of yourself reassured you that you did not stink, so why the abrupt stop?
“I believe that you should find Mammon in your room.” He staggered backward with urgency; so much so that he would have clipped his side on the counter had you not warned him. Pink dusted his cheeks for a moment as he cleared his throat, clearly embarrassed from not noticing the counter. Your bemusement was cut short, however, when he fixed you with a piercing look that sent shivers down your back. “I expect to see you in my room once you are finished.”
Unable to stop yourself, you quipped back, “I’ll think about it.”
“By all means, do,” he purred, red eyes narrowing into seductive slits. Even as he backed out of the room, sweat beads beginning to glisten on his forehead, he somehow still made you want to do nothing more than hand yourself over to him completely. “But let me assure you that the actual thing will be so much more enjoyable than whatever you end up imagining.”
With that, he was gone, and you were left with nothing but yourself and your newfound neediness. You had half a mind to chase after the first-born, but the other half of your mind was insisting that you go to Mammon, as he was the one who had called you in the first place. With a small sigh, you headed off down the hallway toward your room. It was a short walk, as per usual, but the anticipation that had once again began to swirl in your stomach lengthened it a good bit.
What, exactly, did helping a demon through their rut entail? You assumed that they needed help finishing, but was that it? Of course, you’d help the brothers out with anything, ESPECIALLY if they were in pain because of it, but it was a little unnerving not knowing exactly what you had gotten yourself into. Thank God that Solomon had been there to help cast a spell on you (which you still had no clue what it did, but you trusted him enough to believe that you’d be fine) because, now that you’ve had some more time to think about it, there was no way you’d be able to walk away from this little excursion of yours unscathed.
You hesitated outside of your partially opened door for just a moment before stepping inside and locking the door behind you. As you turned around to once again face the rest of your room, quiet huffing and groaning alerted you of the demon in the room with you.
The sight that blessed your eyes ignited a white-hot fire in your core.
Mammon was sprawled out buck-naked on your bed, your sheets and comforter rumpled enough to lead you to assume that he had been wriggling around on them for a while. As a surprise to no one, your eyes immediately zeroed in on his hand— namely, how said hand was loosely wrapped around his length and lightly jerking it. His caramel skin glistened under a sheen layer of sweat from his exertions, and his head was tipped back against your pillow as he chased a semblance of relief.
You mindlessly take a few steps toward the sight. Had he not noticed you were in the room yet? Considering how tightly his eyes were screwed shut and how his breathing was getting progressively louder, it wasn’t impossible.
“Mammon?” you called out hesitantly, unsure if you should be interrupting or not. Although, he had called you specifically to help him with this exact thing, so maybe you were worrying about nothing.
His eyes snapped wide open the moment his name came out of your mouth; he really hadn’t heard you enter then. A shuddering inhale shook his form for a moment before he pushed himself up to a seated position and said in disbelief, “You really came.”
As if you could ignore his phone call. You rolled your eyes as you finished closing the gap between the two of you, your hands lifting to cup Mammon’s warm cheeks. “I said I would, didn’t I?” Unintelligible mumbling followed that you silenced by pressing your thumb against his lips. “What do you want me to do?”
Without a word, Mammon’s hands gripped your waist and guided you onto his lap, your knees on either side of him. His hot mouth instantly found your neck, the feeling of his hasty kisses and the occasional nip stealing your breath away. Not staying in one place too long, the kisses quickly trailed their way down toward your collarbone, only for the fabric of your shirt to get in the way. Aside from his annoyed grumbling, Mammon didn’t make any comments about it and simply tugged at your shirt, wordlessly asking you to take it off.
Of course you complied (because why would you not?) and freed yourself from the now-restrictive fabric. No sooner had you wriggled out of your top than had Mammon’s hands begun to roam all over your body, almost as if he was attempting to commit your form to memory.
Everywhere his hands went brought a tingling sensation to your skin. Eventually, one dipped low enough to fiddle with the band of your shorts, although it didn’t go any farther than that. As great as the makeout session was, a growing firmness pressing along the inside of your thigh and the unsteadiness of his touch reminded you of exactly why you were called in the first place.
“Mammon,” you tried, but your words fell on deaf ears as Mammon was too lost in the feeling and taste and touch of you to even register that you had spoken. Fog rolled across your mind as he found a particularly sensitive spot and capitalized on it, teeth gently scraping against the skin which was immediately followed by a soothing swipe of his tongue. Still, you found it somewhere within you to try again. “Mammon, wait.”
“Hm?” His lips buzzed pleasantly against your neck, eyes turning up toward your own.
Your stomach flipped at the sheer want pooling in their golden ichor. “I’m here to help you with your rut, but right now I feel more like we’re focusing on me.”
“Of course I’m focusin’ on you,” he harrumphed, a look of embarrassment shading his features. “You’re a human! There’s no way you’d be able to jump right on in without gettin’ hurt, so I’m… I’m tryin’ to warm you up a bit.”
You chuckled, running a hand through his hair reassuringly. “That’s awful sweet of you, babe, but I’m seriously fine. Solomon hooked me up with some magic before I came over, so I’m all set.”
His grip on your hips tightened at the mention of the sorcerer, but he didn’t say anything about it. Instead, his hands jumped from your hips to your shoulders, flipping you onto the bed with Mammon positioned between your legs. You’d never noticed it before, but his canines were slightly more pointed than a human’s; they’re all you focused on when a smirk crept onto his features. “You should’ve said somethin’ sooner.”
If before had been the warm-up, then the main event was the warm-up times ten. Your mouths crashed together, and you found yourself fighting to stay caught up with Mammon’s urgent pace. The bed creaked underneath the two of you as Mammon rushed to get the rest of your clothes off. It was impressive how he managed to slide off your shorts without breaking away from you, but you weren’t allowed to dwell on that thought for very long at all.
“You’re sure about this?” His breathless question warmed your heart. Even now, as his legs trembled with the discomfort he was surely in and his gaze grew hazy, he had the decency to make sure that you were sure. You hadn’t faltered from your original commitment once, but now you were certain you had made the right choice.
A cheeky grin split across your face. “I’ve never been more sure about something in my life.”
No sooner had you gotten the words out than had Mammon’s cock shoved its way through your entrance, his hips pressing flush against your own. The burning feeling of your walls stretching to take him in so suddenly proved too much to handle, your body arching into his own as a gasping whine tore from your lips.
For a moment— just a moment— he stilled, allowing you to adjust to his size. One of his hands hooked underneath your knee and pulled it closer to your side so he could get a better angle. A shot of pleasure ran through you as the repositioning briefly caused your muscles clenched around him. Seeing the shudder rack your form, Mammon rolled his hips into yours. Your head tipped back at the feeling of his swollen length dragging against your walls, and he wasted no time in leaving blossoms of orchid and rouge along the now-exposed column of your neck.
As your eyes rolled back at the feeling, you missed how he shifted above you, gripping the head of your headboard with his other hand for support. You didn’t miss how his hips pulled back and thrust up into you, nor did you miss how each thrust following that was just as strong.
Unrestrained sounds fell from your open mouth as Mammon launched into an aggressive pace that left you scrabbling for purchase on his shoulders or back so you wouldn’t hit your headboard. The moment your hands bumped into something protruding from his back, your eyes flew open to search for what exactly you had just touched.
At some point, Mammon must have shifted to his demon form, as his wings were currently curling over the two of you almost like some sort of shield. Your legs squeezed together at the sight, allowing Mammon’s next thrusts to find your g-spot.
“Fuck, Ma-Mammon,” you cursed, the demon on top of you growling lowly as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.
“You’re so tight,” he groaned before pressing a firm kiss along your jaw. “You’re doin’ so good for me, y/n.”
You answered with a keening moan, as you were sure that you wouldn’t be able to articulate any more actual words— not while Mammon kept plowing into you at this speed, anyway. Tension coiled tightly in your abdomen, each thrust drawing you closer and closer to your peak. You couldn’t tell how close Mammon was, but with as ragged as his panting was growing, you assumed he wasn’t all that far behind you.
With every passing moment, your body grew more and more flush with heat and your moans increased in volume, which Mammon encouraged with more whispered praise. One particularly strong smack of his hips against yours triggered the release of a loud whine from your throat, and you were sure you wouldn’t be able to last much longer. “Just like that, sweetheart.” His lips brushed tantalizingly against your ear, making sure that you heard him over yourself. “Let ‘em all know who’s makin’ you feel this good.”
A few more solid thrusts were all it took to make you unravel, your toes curling and your body arching into Mammon at the utter bliss engulfing you entirely.
“Mammon!” you wailed, all other words escaping you as stars danced behind your eyes. Your walls clenching down on him pushed Mammon over the edge as well, his hips stuttering before pressing as deep inside of you as he could, release spilling into your throbbing core. A groan tumbled from his lips as his teeth sunk into the crook of your neck, the sharp stinging drawing a soft whine from yourself.
After a few moments of deepening his mark, Mammon flopped onto his back and rolled you on top of him, his arms wrapping tightly around your body to gently hold you against him. The bliss from orgasming was now wearing off and was being replaced with exhaustion. Tension seeped out of you in waves as you relaxed against Mammon’s heaving chest, his skin cool against your warm cheek.
Laughter soon met your ears, and the shaking body beneath you made it pretty obvious who it was coming from. Drowsily, you pushed yourself up to a sitting position and let Mammon slip himself out of you while you threw an inquisitive look his way. The eyes that met your own were no longer ones of a demon in rut, but ones filled with total admiration. “What are you laughing about?”
“You,” he answered simply, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear while his other hand rested loosely on your bare hip.
Your heart fluttered at that, but you played it off with a small smile and a tiny slap against his chest. “Why are you being so cheesy?”
He said nothing, only answering with another laugh as he leaned forward to pepper your face with soft kisses. His laughter turned out to be infectious as you, too, began to laugh, leaving the two of you giggling into each others’ mouths before he pulled away, resting his forehead against your own. “I’m just so happy you actually came, y/n.”
“Me too, I was starting to get worried there for a bit,” you snarked, the teasing lilt evident in your tone. Mammon scoffed at playfully rolled his eyes, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist as the corner of his mouth tugged up in a smirk.
“Sure fooled me. You sure sounded like you were enjoying yourself.” Now it was your turn to fake being offended; you gasped indignantly before turning your head away in a fake pout.
“With this much disrespect, maybe I’ll just show myself out.”
“Woah there, let’s not be too hasty.” A thumb and forefinger grip your chin and turn your head back toward Mammon, who had a peculiar twinkle in his eye. It was something warm and knowing and light, but you just couldn’t put your finger on it. The odd look didn’t leave when he pulled you against his chest for what felt like the hundredth time that day, nor did it leave when you tangled yourselves up in the other while you cuddled, just taking time to soak the other in.
Eventually, Mammon gave himself over to sleep, his light snores rumbling softly against the side of your neck as he unconsciously wriggled himself impossibly closer into you. You were just about to as well until two short sets of buzzes caught your attention.
Twisting around carefully in Mammon’s arms, you were just able to see your D.D.D. flicking off again after receiving the messages. Luckily, your shorts had ended up getting thrown onto your nightstand, so it wasn’t too much of a challenge to snag your D.D.D. from your back pocket without waking up the sleeping demon latched on to you.
Flicking it open, you saw that the messages had come from Levi.
come over please. I know your with mammon right now
I need help too y/n, please
You cast a glance over your shoulder at the said demon, guilt gnawing at your heart as memories resurfaced of how sweet he had been earlier; however, those memories were soon replaced with ones of Lucifer, disheveled and leaning into your touch, and of Solomon, warning you that you’d end up helping all of the brothers out. With a sigh, you tapped a quick reply to Levi that you were on your way and eased yourself out of Mammon’s arms.
As you got to your feet, you were surprised to find that you weren’t sore in the slightest, despite how rough Mammon had been. Solomon’s magic really was no joke. It didn’t take you long to slip back into your clothes (granted, you didn’t bother putting your bra and underwear back on because you’d just be taking them off again) and you soon found yourself staring down at Mammon.
You were still guilty about running off to go fuck his younger brother while he was sleeping, but at the same time, you’d feel even more guilty about only helping one brother and leaving the other six to deal with their ruts by themselves. Worrying your bottom lip between your teeth for a moment, you finally steel yourself and commit to your decision, pressing a chaste kiss to his forehead before turning around and marching yourself straight out of your door. You don’t look back, because you know that if you do, the rest of the brothers would end up suffering through their ruts alone.
Your morning ventures ended with probably the best mid morning nap you’d ever had in your life. You woke up without a headache, thankfully, and with the way you’d guzzled the water bottle on your nightstand before you’d crashed out, you felt halfway ready to take on the world.
You dug through your duffel bag in an attempt to find one of the twelve bathing suits you’d packed three days ago. Hopefully you’d packed your cute ones, you’d been in such a rush you honestly had no idea what all was in your bag or if anything really matched. Finally, you found a black set at the bottom that was simple enough that it wouldn’t require too many of your brain cells to put on, still being kinda sleepy and everything.
Finding your way to the pool was easy, considering it was in the dead center of the boat. You were surprised to see the number of kids sitting around the edge of the pool when you got down there, feet dangling in the chlorine filled liquid. You glanced down at the phone in your hand to see the time. 12:08. Adult Swim.
You crossed the short expanse of wooden walkway over to the lounge chairs, dropping your few belongings onto the small table beside the single free one you could find before covering your phone and key card with the towel you’d just barely remembered to bring down so the sun wouldn’t wreak too much havoc on them. The chair was surprisingly more comfortable than it looked when you situated yourself on it.
The sound of a whistle sent your head snapping in the direction of the pool only to see a few dozen kids jumping into the water as the few adults scrambled to get out in time.
And, of course, your eyes found Sidney’s in record time. God, how could one man be so pretty? The fact that he was practically dripping wet didn’t help, either.
He had a pair of teal swim trunks on, oddly enough, and they seemed to cling to everything as he climbed out of the water. To you, it felt like he was moving in slow motion, but it probably only took him about thirty seconds before he was walking in your direction. No. Right. To. You.
He shook his head slightly as he did so, attempting to conceal the grin making its way onto his face. God, he’s cute, too.
“Fancy meeting you here,” he said, louder than the other times you’d spoken with him—you gave that up to the fact that you were outside. He’d still yet to adjust his swim trunks and the tent in them seemed to be staring you right in the eyes.
“Hey, you’re the one that came up to me,” you scoffed dismissively. Sidney just cleared his throat in response, nodding toward his belongings in the seat next to yours. The only thing separating his belongings from yours was the tiny metal table, and even that was covered in your personal items. “Oh.”
“Oh,” he mocked lightly. He opted to sit on the edge of your chair rather than take the last two steps towards his own, the warm skin of his thigh brushing against your own. The barely there touch sent tingles up your spine. You couldn’t imagine what having all of him pressed up against you would feel like.
He picked his hand up off the plastic of the chair, hesitating slightly and letting it rest in the air above your leg for a second too long, before letting his rough fingers meet the smooth skin.
“I’ve been thinking,” he started. “About your offer earlier.”
Your breath hitched in the back of your throat as his hand trailed higher up your thigh, dangerously close to the flimsy bow holding the fabric together.
“M-my offer?” you stuttered out.
“Are you sober...” he trailed off, tongue darting out to wet his lips. He was fiddling with the nylon string at this point.
“Y/N,” you hummed out a response. “And, yes. Took a nap and everything.”
“Good,” he said before abruptly getting up so that he could collect his things from his own chair. Your skin felt cold without his touch despite the scalding heat you were being exposed to. He turned back around as he shoved his phone into his still damp pocket, “C’mon, pretty girl. We don’t have all day.”
You practically jumped up from your seat to grab your things, in spite of a chuckling Sidney behind you.
The walk to the lobby happened in what felt like half a second and before you knew it, Sidney had you pressed up against the outside of his room door. Maybe being on the first floor wasn’t such a bad thing.
His hips were pressing into yours, his fingers were bruising against your waist, and his lips. They were everywhere. You don’t even remember when he’d started kissing you, you just know you didn’t ever want him to stop.
He pulled away just enough to leave you panting and chasing his lips.
“I gotta open the door,” he whispered, lips grazing yours as he did so. The door clicked seconds later which allowed the two of you to slip inside only for Sidney to halfway shove your against the other side of the door the second it closed. Your palms fell flat against his exposed chest, slipping lower and lower as the moments passed until you were thumbing the hemline of his shorts.
“Please,” you whimpered out.
“Please, what?” he asked.
“Just. Please,” you answered. His hand found the tie to your top in a matter of seconds, undoing it slowly before repeating the process with the one around your neck and letting it fall to the floor between you.
His lips attached to the column of your throat as his fingers traced the edges of your bottoms. His mouth moved lower and lower until he was circling your left nipple with his tongue.
Stopping suddenly, he rose back up to his full height, motioning for you to jump with two taps on your hip as he lifted it to his waist. He carried you across the short expanse of his room, dropping you on the recently made up comforter of his bed.
“You’re so beautiful, you know that?” he mumbled before reattaching his lips to yours. He tasted like heaven. There was a faint mint flavor that you chalked up to being his toothpaste mixed with the distinct taste of Minute Maid lemonade and a sweet tea brand you couldn’t identify.
His clothes cock rutted against your core, sending flickers of the sight of him getting out of the pool glittering through your mind again. Those swim trunks left nothing to the imagination.
He shifted lower over your body, tugging your bikini bottoms down in one swift motion and quite literally tossing them over his shoulder.
“Look at you,” he praised. “So pretty and pink and wet for me. You’re dripping all over my sheets, pretty girl.”
One of his digits slipped between your folds, spreading the wetness around as he circled your clit with the pad of his finger.
“I think you’re a little-“ you cut yourself off with a moan when he slipped the finger inside you. “Overdressed.”
“Patience,” he said, inserting another finger into your hole. He curled his fingers in a scissoring motion, eliciting a high pitched gasp to fall from your lips. His thumb quickly found your clit which sent your eyes rolling straight into the back of your head.
“Oh my God,” you whimpered.
“Look at me,” he said. You ignored his comment, head hitting the pillow underneath you only for his movements to stop. “Look at me.”
Your eyes snapped back open.
“I want to see your eyes when you come on my cock,” he said, pulling his fingers from you so that he could shove the teal shorts down his legs just enough for his dick to slap against his stomach.
He grabbed a condom out of his wallet on the nightstand, ripping the packaging open with his teeth before rolling it down the length of his dick.
“Fuck me,” you groaned out as he lined his tip up with your entrance.
“I was planning on it,” he exhaled. He didn’t even give you a second to respond before he pushed in halfway.
“Holy fuck, you’re huge,” you said, unintentionally clenching around him. He shuddered before fully bottoming out.
“And you’re incredibly tight,” he said. It didn’t take him long to find his pace as his hands molded bruises into the sides of your hips.
His lips found your neck soon after, running his teeth lightly along the top of your collarbone as your hands found his hair. You would’ve commented on the softness of it if you had a coherent thought in your head. But all you could think about was the burning pleasure building in the pit of your stomach.
“I’m gonna cum, I’m gonna cum-“ you repeated like a mantra until your orgasm washed over you like a tidal wave.
“I’m right behind you,” he said, hips snapping into yours at an even faster rate. He lasted about two more thrusts before you felt him still inside you. He stayed there for a moment before he pulled out and made his way to the bathroom to dispose of the condom.
The thoughts started rushing into your head before the post-orgasm bliss even had the time to fully wear off. You couldn’t believe you’d just done that. Sure, he was gorgeous and, sure, he was practically the most gorgeous man you’d ever laid eyes on. But you were gonna be stuck living next door to him for the next two weeks.
You were already off the bed and grabbing your things from where they’d been dropped at the door—something you didn’t remember doing in the first place—when you heard Sidney turn the shower on. You had your bikini back on before his eyes hit you again.
“You can join me, if you want,” he said as he watched you scramble around his room from where he was leant up against the ensuite’s door frame.
“As much as I would love to do that, I’ve gotta get going,” you said, throwing open the room door and letting it shut before he could get another word out.
You had other things on your plate, anyway. Current mission: find Sigma. She might not be your best friend in the world, at least, yet, but you needed to tell someone about what just happened.
And judging by the way you’d scrounged what felt like the entire ship at this point—not really, you really only checked like three, very public areas—your mission was proving more impossible than you would’ve liked. Then, when you thought all hope was lost, you remembered the teensy tiny little tidbit of information she’d given you this morning when you were in six mimosas. She was staying in Room 215.
“Y/N! How unexpected,” Sigma said as she opened up her door wide enough to let you in. Her southern charm was seeping through every word and it really was no wonder how she’d already gotten married at 23.
You saw a man laying on the bed, thankfully, fully clothed with a remote control laying on his stomach. You heard a woman’s voice coming from the TV and what sounded like a murder documentary.
Sigma was ushering you out onto her balcony before you had time to really search her and husband’s room any further.
“What’s this surprise visit all about? I thought you’d gotten of me this morning,” she said as the two of you sat in the bolted down, metal chairs out there.
“You know that really hot guy in the room next to mine,” you said.
“No,” she exhaled. Maybe you’d forgotten to mention that this morning. Course, you barely remembered anything you’d mentioned this morning.
“Well,” you started. “There’s a really hot guy in the room right next to mine. And I may or may not have just hooked up with him.”
“You’re kidding!” she gasped.
“I almost wish I was,” you groaned, pulling your knees up to your chest.
“Was it that bad?” she asked with a wince. You looked over at her with a dumbfounded look on your face.
“It was the best sex I’ve had in my life,” you said.
“So, what’s the issue?”
“I don’t know. He’s kinda like my neighbor for right now, and somehow we manage to bump into each other everywhere we go. I just don’t want things to be even more uncomfortable for me on this stupid boat.”
“Honey.”
“I know, I know. It’s dumb,” you sighed. “I’m just not ready to get involved with another guy. Not after what happened with Max,” you said.
“Look, sweetheart. You’re never gonna find someone if you don’t give yourself the chance to open up. And who says this whole thing with your supah hot guy has to go any further than it has. I say if you get the chance, go for it.”
“Get the chance?”
“To have sex again! According to you, it was the best sex, like, ever.”
The next twenty minutes went on like that until Sigma’s husband practically forced her to go back inside and get ready for something. You took that as your cue to leave.
You were glad you’d gone to find her today. As weird as a start that you’d had for your friendship, she was probably one of the easiest people you’d ever had the opportunity of talking to.
The walk back to your room was quick. That was when you realized the only item you currently had in your possession was your phone. And not your key card. You knew you’d had it before the incident with Sidney and you were sure you’d grabbed everything on your way out of Sigma’s room. Which left one option. It was still on Sidney’s floor.
Sighing, you dropped your head in defeat, walking the two steps it took so that you were face to face with the wooden door you were pressed up against over an hour ago. Your hand hovered in the air until you worked up enough courage to actually knock.
“Here for this?” he asked, holding up the white card in one hand after he opened the door just wide enough to see you.
“Yes, thank you,” you said, reaching out to grab it from him only for him to pull it back, inches from your grip.
“You could’ve just gone to the front desk,” he said.
“I-“ you started. “Forgot that was an option.”
“Why are you always wet when we see each other?” you asked with an eye roll as the door swung open.
“Actually, I distinctly remember you being equally as wet when we met earlier,” he said.
“You’re insufferable,” you scoffed.
“And you’re adorable,” he said before actually handing over the key.
“Says the guy that takes hour long showers,” you said.
“I got a little preoccupied.”
“Uh-huh,” you hummed.
“You sure you have to go to your room?” he asked, tantalizingly slow, allowing his words to hang heavy in the air around you as his tongue slipped past his lips. Your eyes stayed glued to the water droplet running down his throat.
“I guess-“
“Well, come on then. Wouldn’t want you getting cold out there, pretty girl,” he said, the hand still holding your key card clasping around your wrist as he pulled you into his chest, and consequently, back into his room.
Another cliffhanger? Me? Nah.
All characters belong to @lumosinlove
@donttouchmycarrots is the best and I love her so much. She also inspired a lot of this chapter’s angst, so it’s not all my fault this time! <3
Sirius woke up alone. This in and of itself wasn’t unusual, until he remembered the events of the night before. Wandering hands, soft, needy sighs, and warm lips that kissed him and kissed him and kissed him. He rolled onto his stomach and smothered himself with his pillow to hide the smile that took over his entire face, heart beating giddily in his chest. That happened.
Holy shit.
But that begged the question: where was he?
Sirius stayed in bed for a few moments, thinking that maybe Remus was coming back, but then he got too impatient and crawled out of bed to go searching. If he was camped out in front of that laptop again this early… but no. He was standing in front of the stove, prodding at the contents of a frying pan. The smell of coffee reached Sirius and he smiled again as he entered the kitchen, making sure his footsteps were loud enough for Remus to hear - that way it wasn’t a surprise when he came to stand behind Remus and wrapped his arms around his waist, hooking his chin on his shoulder to watch what was happening on the stove.
A general rule of dating a spy - don’t sneak up on them. It tends to end badly.
“Morning.” Sirius mumbled, turning his head to press a lingering kiss to a tendon in Remus’ neck and smiling against warm skin. Remus hummed, leaning back into Sirius’ chest and angling his neck to give him better access. That simple, innocuous motion stole Sirius’ breath. Remus didn’t trust easily - Sirius could understand why, given everything he’d been through. But there he was, relaxed against Sirius, eyes closed, completely trusting. Sirius wasn’t exactly sure what to do with something so precious, but damn he really didn’t want to screw this up. So he continued to place kiss after kiss to Remus’s skin, finding a ticklish spot right below his ear that made him laugh and squirm in Sirius’ arms before he shoved him away, a wide, happy smile on his face.
Had Sirius ever been this happy before? He doubted it.
“So what’s for breakfast, chef?” He asked, peering at the frying pan. Remus turned the stove off and grabbed plates from the cabinet by the fridge while Sirius grabbed silverware and napkins. It was incredibly domestic. Sirius couldn’t get enough of it.
“Scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee. Nothing gourmet, but it’s the best I can do.” He answered as he scooped eggs out of the frying pan and grabbed toast from the toaster, then handed the plate to Sirius. They took their plates to the tiny kitchen table, along with the coffee and creamer and jams before sitting down to eat.
It was… nice. Their relationship had changed a lot the night before, but it was easy - a seamless transition from friends to more. He’d always assumed there would be some awkwardness with a big change like that, but it felt normal. Remus still teased him for how he took his coffee, Sirius still kicked him for it. They went over their plans for the day and what they wanted to get done. The ease of it all made Sirius wonder just how long they’d been teetering over that precipice.
It also made him feel guilty, how happy he was when his brother was still trapped with the Snakes and Finn still missing. Remus seemed to recognize his shift in emotion and smiled sadly, reaching across the table to tangle their hands together.
“We’re going to figure something out.” He said quietly before taking a sip of coffee, not once letting go of Sirius’ hand but playing with his fingers absentmindedly. It made it a bit tricky to eat, but Sirius couldn’t say he minded one bit.
He hoped Remus was right.
***
“Update?” Talker asked as soon as Remus and Sirius entered the office, looking tired. He kept pace with them as they walked, eager for a response. He and Finn were pretty close, constantly cracking jokes and trading jabs and playing pranks. But then again, Finn was a very outgoing guy - he was pretty close with a lot of people.
Sure enough, as they rounded the corner they found a gathering of people outside Remus’ office, all friends. All worried.
And a stranger standing next to Kasey, watching them as they approached. Red hair, brown eyes, faint freckles.
Remus didn’t have to ask who he was.
He stuck his hand out for the agent to shake. “O’Hara.”
Alex shook his hand briefly, soulful eyes a myriad of warring emotions. “Please tell me what the hell is going on.”
Remus looked at him, then the rest of the people around his office. They all needed to know what was going on, but he felt like Alex deserved the chance to hear this on his own, without the prying eyes of a bunch of strangers.
Sirius seemed to know exactly what he needed. It was like a sixth sense. “Lions, to the conference room! I’ll tell you what we know.” He gave Remus a warm smile, one that he was helpless to return. Last night was… blinding, as strange as it sounded. Sirius was all he could see now - the bright, expressive eyes, full, addictive lips, and wow he needed to get off this train of thought quickly. He had important things to do today.
Sirius seemed to know exactly what was on his mind. His smile turned secretive and sly before he shot Remus a wink and led the way to the conference room, leaving only Alex. Remus looked at him, then jerked his head towards his office. Alex followed after him and instantly sat down in one of the extra chairs, eyes never leaving Remus. He looked tired, worried, desperate for answers.
Remus sighed, an ache in his chest. He couldn’t imagine what it must be like for him, dealing with his younger brother being kidnapped. If it was Jules, Remus would lose his mind. “Let’s just start at the beginning, ok?” And so he did. He went over the general premise of the mission, what they’d done so far, and what went wrong. Alex listened quietly, taking it in.
When they were finally caught up Alex leaned back in his chair, raking a hand through his hair - a motion that was so Finn that Remus had to hold his breath for a second before releasing it. “So do we have any leads? What’s the plan?”
“We’ve got three possible locations. We’re going to try to narrow it down and then send in the two operatives we’ve already got in Slytherin.”
“Finn’s partners.”
There was something about the way Alex said that. The wrinkle in his brow, eyes hard and unflinching. Unforgiving. Remus gave him a look, keeping his voice neutral. “It was a freak accident, O’Hara. Not their fault.”
He wasn’t brave enough to tell the agent how much of that fault rested on his own shoulders. He was basically in charge of this mission. He’d been the one in charge of planning, giving them the go-ahead, looking out for signs of danger. There were signs of the op going bad - he could see that now, in hindsight. But hindsight was always 20/20, wasn’t it?
And now he was sitting here, explaining to the brother of the agent he let get kidnapped that they didn’t really have a solid plan. They were still scattered and struggling to recollect themselves after that disaster of a mission. What exactly was he supposed to say?
Alex ignored his earlier attempt at placation. “You’re telling me that your plan is to send one agent and a rookie safe-cracker into Snakes headquarters and break my brother out? That’s all you’ve got?”
“The rest of us are already on their radar. If we sent in other agents-”
“Bullshit.” Alex growled, leaning forward dangerously. And really, Remus couldn’t fault him for any of this. Their bond ran deep, apparently. “You’re taking down the Snakes anyways, what’s wrong with pushing up the timeline a little? We don’t need to be covert anymore, we need to be dominant and aggressive.”
“That makes your brother collateral damage,” Remus reasoned. “We go in guns-blazing, the first thing they’ll do is make it a hostage situation.”
Alex sighed, his shoulders slumping and all the fight leaving him in a split-second, frustration rolling off him in waves. “Fuck.”
“We’ve got an ex-Snake on the team and a guy on the inside. Potentially,” he felt like he had to add, because he still wasn’t sure what to think of the younger Black brother. Sirius trusted him, sure, but was that enough?
One wrong move and they could lose three agents. This required precision and cunning, not hot-headed recklessness.
“We’re going to do our best to get him out of there.” Remus finally finished, trying to instill confidence with just the words. Alex just smiled sadly.
“Good media answer, right there.”
Remus’ phone buzzed twice in his pocket, signaling an incoming message. He fumbled with it for a second, then looked down at the screen. “Well, I might have a better answer in a few minutes. One of his partners says they’ve got news.”
Remus just hoped it was finally some good news.
***
Logan was still pacing - back and forth, back and forth. It wasn’t a stressed pace this time, exactly. His stride was longer, full of pent-up energy and restlessness. Leo was switching between watching him and reading the messages Regulus sent the night before to Loops and Sirius, who were both listening intently.
“So let me get this straight.” Remus said through the computer speakers. “Regulus said he’d turn off one of the cameras that overlooks a side door, sneak you two in, and then help you get both him and Finn out?” He and Sirius were sitting close together at the conference table, sneaking glances at each other when they thought no one was looking.
Leo smiled knowingly. Good for them.
“Yeah.” Logan said as he continued to pace. “Get in, get them, get out. Simple.”
“Well,” Leo said, stretching out the word and watching Logan’s eyes snap to him. Yeah, he wasn’t going to like this. “According to Reg, one of Riddle’s flash drives is there too - in a safe in his office. Logan can get Finn, and I can-”
“No.”
“Logan,” Leo sighed, giving him a look. “After we get Finn out, they’ll put that place on lockdown. We won’t get another shot at getting this drive and you know it. Plus Riddle’s not even there right now. It’s the perfect opportunity.”
“When did he even tell you that?” Logan asked, staring at him incredulously. “I don’t remember this at all.”
“That would be because I’ve been texting him this morning because I knew you’d react like this.” Leo rushed to finish his sentence and be heard over Logan’s loud dissent.
“React how? Logically?”
“Over-protectively.” Leo corrected, watching the aggravation return to his pacing again as he grumbled something under his breath. “If we get this drive, that only leaves the ones Lestrange and Riddle have on them. Reg said he could probably grab the one Bellatrix has - he can replace it with the fake I slipped into his pocket at the gala-”
“Nut, you can’t be serious.”
Leo glared at him. “It’s a perfectly solid plan.”
“And it’s dangerous!”
“Are you forgetting what our jobs are?” Leo asked with an incredulous laugh. “Everything we do is dangerous.”
“Leo.”
The blond looked to the laptop, where Sirius and Loops were looking back at him. “Back me up here.”
Remus glanced over at Sirius, then back to Leo. “It’s risky, but if you feel like you can do it-”
“I can.” Leo said, no room for argument. The kid who was nervously drumming his fingers against his thigh and staring off into space before his first mission was long gone, replaced by a calm, confident agent - who still drummed his fingers on a regular basis, but who was self-assured and comfortable with his role. Logan wasn’t exactly sure when that had happened, but he was proud nonetheless - even if he was still terrified.
“When’s Reg going for Lestrange’s drive?” Sirius asked, in a similar state as Logan. Worried, but knowing he was fighting a losing battle. This was happening whether they liked it or not.
“She puts it in the same spot every night before she goes to bed, so he’ll grab it right before we get there when she’s already asleep. If we go really early in the morning - like really early - everyone should be asleep, save for a few.”
“They’re cocky like that,” Sirius added, “No one’s ever been dumb enough to try to break in, so they won’t be as prepared for it.”
Leo frowned, not sure whether to take offense or not. “Thanks?”
“So how long do you think getting into the safe will take?” Remus asked, keeping all of them on track, as usual. The steadiness and predictability calmed Logan down, just a little.
Leo shrugged. “Don’t know, depends on what kind of safe it is. Reg doesn’t know.”
“So you’re going in blind.” Logan finished, anxiety churning in his gut. That calmness had lasted all of three seconds. He didn’t like this. There was so much that could go wrong; it was risky enough sneaking in to get Finn out of there, but adding this on top of it? What if one of them got caught? What if all of them got caught? What if Regulus wasn’t as trustworthy as Sirius claimed? What if they were just walking into another trap?
What if, what if, what if. There were too many variables to this, too much at risk.
He’d never really hated his job before. In the past he’d loved the suspense, the intrigue, the unpredictability. He’d grown up wanting a career that had action and adventure, just like the movies he and his sisters used to watch. Now all the things he used to love were the things that were stressing him out the most. But then, he’d never had partners before - definitely not partners he was halfway in love with.
He was starting to hate this job now.
Leo’s voice brought him back to the conversation. “Not really. It’s either going to be a digital safe or manual. I’d crack a digital safe the same way I cracked the ones at the banks, and manual safes are kind of like giant locks. I just feel for the sticking points and do the math.”
“There’s math?” Sirius asked, looking disgusted. Logan thought back to Finn saying the exact same words, all three of them squished together on the bed with a nature documentary playing in the background, warm and content and relaxed. No stress, no sense of impending disaster, no one missing.
He wanted that again, more than anything.
He felt like this wasn’t the way to do it, though. Which was ironic, seeing that he was the one who usually wanted to be reckless. That was his M.O. - the rough, hotheaded agent who wasn’t afraid to take some risks. He completely changed his tune when those risks endangered his partners.
He couldn’t lose them - either of them. He wasn’t sure what he’d do if...
But arguing against this rescue mission was like leading a horse to water - pointless. The only thing left to do was to prepare. So Logan tuned the conversation out and started planning for every possible outcome he could think of. He wasn’t going to be left just reacting, not this time. He was going into this with every last detail mapped out, every potential misstep accounted for, every contingency plan organized in his head.
He wasn’t going to let anything go wrong. He couldn’t.
***
The alarm Leo and Logan had set was essentially useless, seeing that it found the two of them already awake, going over the plan in their heads. Logan stretched his arm out to shut it off, then rolled over to look at Leo. Blue eyes were already staring back, alight with optimism- a stark contrast to how Logan was feeling. He just hoped tonight wasn’t the night he would be disappointed.
“We’re going to get him back.” The blond said, no sleepiness to his voice as he softly leaned in to kiss Logan sweetly, then more enthusiastically. Logan let himself get lost in it for a while, a heart-wrenching distraction, accepting kiss after excited kiss with a sigh against soft lips. He took the lead a second later, pushing Leo back into the mattress and pressing their chests together, getting as close as he could manage and relaxing into the warmth.
“And then we’ll all be together again.” He added after a while, trying to reassure both Leo and himself as he kissed a dimple and earned a smile, bright in the early-morning darkness. “And we can finally have that talk.”
Leo hummed happily and pulled him down for one last lingering kiss before shimmying his way out from under Logan and getting to his feet, hair an absolute mess from a night of tossing and turning and Logan’s hands. Logan felt strangely proud of himself for that.
“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go.” Leo chanted, dashing to his suitcase to grab clothes. His enthusiasm visibly shown in every action - brushing his teeth, pulling on his shoes, grabbing his tools. Logan soon found himself dressed and ready to go, turning his earpiece on and testing his mic. His gun was loaded and ready, a comforting weight at his hip. Leo’s voice echoed in his ear as he tested his mic, loud and clear. His tools were all packed up and smuggled away in his pockets, determination written across his face.
They were going to get him back.
Logan pulled up the directions to the address Regulus had sent them and they hurried to their car, blasting the heat as high as it would go to try and defrost the windows. The clock read 4:13 am as they pulled out of the hotel parking lot and headed down the street.
The drive was tense with anticipation and nerves and adrenaline. Leo’s leg never stopped bouncing from the passenger’s seat as he stared out the window, clearly lost in thought because it was still pitch black outside - he definitely wasn’t looking at anything. Logan kept his eyes on the road ahead and his thoughts on their mission, going over the details one last time as the navigation app instructed him to turn right.
The building they were infiltrating was on the very outskirts of Slytherin, somewhat secluded and run-of-the-mill. If Logan wasn’t sure this was the right place, he would never have guessed this to be a Snakes’ building. Which was probably exactly what they were going for.
Logan drove straight past the building, continuing down the road for a while until he figured they wouldn’t raise suspicion. He put the car in park, switched the headlights off, then turned to face his partner.
“You ready?”
The resulting grin was luminous. “You know it.”
Logan nodded, nerves gnawing away at his stomach, and got out of the car. He and Leo snuck around to the southeast side of the building where they found a door, the light above it flickering occasionally. Leo sent Logan a look, then rapped on the door with his knuckles twice.
A few seconds passed by, then the door opened silently. Regulus Black stared back at them, face as impassive as always. The two agents stepped inside without another word, watching as Regulus closed the door behind them and locked it before turning to face them again.
“I’ve got Bellatrix’s drive,” he said, so quietly that Leo and Logan had to lean in a little to hear him. “Snagged it about twenty minutes ago and replaced it with the fake. She’ll never know the difference.”
“Perfect.” Leo grabbed Logan’s forearm, eyes bright and intense. “You go get Finn, I’ll grab the drive. Meet you back at the rendezvous.”
Logan still didn’t like the idea. He didn’t like the thought of being separated. “Leo-”
“No one’s out this early, it’ll be the easiest grab of my life. I’ll be careful - I’ll be so careful, Tremz. You gotta trust me.” He pressed their foreheads together briefly and Logan allowed himself that one moment to close his eyes and press back, inhaling deeply. He still smelled like the hotel’s shampoo, clean and citrusy. After all this, Logan didn’t think he’d ever be able to forget the smell - or the memories that came with it. He couldn’t quite figure out if that was a bad thing or not. Because on the one hand, there was stress and kidnappings and hurt. But on the other hand, there was exciting, brand new kisses and falling asleep in his arms and the comfort of just being with him.
“Make it quick, ok?” he said finally, reluctantly leaning away and meeting blue eyes. Leo nodded, giving his hand a squeeze, and turned to set off down the hallway. Logan only allowed himself half a second to look after him - if he watched any longer, he just knew he’d start chasing after him, blindly following an angel and not caring where he was going. He’d probably follow him anywhere, if he could. He faced Regulus again instead, who was looking decidedly awkward. Logan just raised an eyebrow at him and motioned for him to lead the way.
His heart hammered louder and louder the more they walked, excitement and worry and adrenaline snowballing together and making his head spin. He could hear Leo’s quiet breathing through the coms, measured and steady and constant like the tide pushing and pulling against the shore. That, more than anything he tried to tell himself, calmed him down.
They reached a nondescript door and stopped in front of it. Logan glanced at Regulus, then back at the door. This was it. Finn was on the other side of that door. He was a paradoxical combination of excited and terrified of what he’d find on the other side of that door.
“I’m just going to wait out here,” Regulus said, moving so that his back was against the wall. “I’ve already witnessed you all soft and mushy tonight - I don’t think I can handle seeing it again. I’ll keep an eye out from here.”
Logan sent him a grin, incredibly pleased with himself and completely unashamed.
He took one last, deep breath and opened the door.
The sound of the door must have woken Finn, because the first thing Logan saw was the shifting of shoulder and back muscles as the redhead sat up with an annoyed grumble. “What the fuck is so important that you feel the need to wake me up this early?” He demanded, reaching up to further tousle his hair as he swiveled around to face the door. Their eyes locked and Finn froze, staring at him with his mouth agape and wide, wide brown eyes, one of which was blackened and swollen. There was blood at the corner of his mouth, dark and distracting. Logan’s breath left him in a rush, like he’d been the one punched in the face.
“Lo,” Finn whispered, that one syllable barely loud enough to reach Logan’s ears. He sat up straighter in an instant and continued to stare, as if he couldn’t quite believe his eyes. “Logan?”
That was all it took to spur Logan into action. He crossed the room in five quick paces and then he was on his knees in front of Finn, reaching for him hesitantly. Finn practically launched himself at him, arms around his neck and holding tight - almost bruisingly. Logan didn’t care. He’d gladly take the bruises if it meant having his partner in his arms again. It hadn’t even been that long since Logan had seen him, but it felt like an entire lifetime. He hugged Finn closer, probably holding him too tight, before leaning back and looking him over. Frantic hands passed over skin and clothing, feeling for injuries.
“You ok?” He asked, reaching up to tilt Finn’s face so that he could examine the black eye and split lip. Calloused fingers traced gingerly over constellations of freckles, marred by purples and greens and yellows. “God, Finn-”
Finn laughed a little, reaching up to still Logan’s hand and pressing it to his stubbled cheek instead. Logan could feel his smile against his palm and melted. “I’m ok. It looks worse than it actually is, I’m sure.”
You’re still gorgeous, Logan thought as he swiped a thumb across his cheek. He wanted to drown in the sight in front of him. Finn wasn’t great but he was ok and considering the circumstances, that was all Logan could really ask for. He was still livid, of course. And the ones who’d hurt Finn would get what was coming for them. That much he could guarantee.
“You shouldn’t be here.” Finn murmured, still leaning into Logan’s touch. Logan just shook his head firmly, eyes serious. How did Finn expect him to leave him behind? He clearly had no idea just how little they could function without him, the gaping hole he’d left in his absence.
Finn looked over Logan’s shoulder, then back to Logan with worried eyes. “Leo?” He asked and let Logan help him to his feet, favoring his left leg. Logan tightened his grip on his biceps and steadied him before answering.
“Currently? In Riddle’s office cracking a safe.”
Leo’s voice, calm and even, came through the coms. “Tell Finn I said hey.” Logan grinned.
“He says hey.”
Finn looked offended. He leaned closer to the mic Logan was wearing at the collar of his shirt, making the brunet still. The expression on his face - a comical combination of panic and turned-on - made Finn smile as he spoke. “You’re breaking me out of here after I was kidnapped and the only thing you can think of to say is hey?”
“Well, I was planning on saving the sentimental shit for when I actually see you.” Leo said distractedly from his spot on the floor in front of a truly ancient safe, rotating the dial slowly and feeling for the last remaining sticking point. “It’s good to hear your voice, though.”
He heard Logan relay the message to Finn, and then Finn’s resulting coo. Leo laughed under his breath at the sound right as the safe opened with a loud click, opening to reveal nothing inside but a blue and gray flash drive.
“I can’t believe this is the only thing he keeps in a safe like this.” Leo grumbled, reaching forward to make the switch-
Right as the office door opened.
Leo whirled around, slipping the real flash drive into his pocket as he faced whoever had walked in on him.
Unnatural yellow eyes stared back.
And a gun was pointed at his chest.
He could tell Riddle recognized him from the party by the curl of his lips that formed the beginnings of a smile. Cold dread washed over Leo at the bizarre sight. He wasn’t sure anyone had seen the leader of the Snakes smile before. If they did, they hadn’t lived to tell the tale. Leo’s heart raced as all he could do was stand there and stare. His gun sat heavily at his hip, but he knew reaching for it would only speed up the inevitable. He stayed still.
Leo’s partners were still talking over the coms, happy and ignorant of the situation going on right down the hall from them. As Leo stared down the barrel of a gun, he thought maybe it was for the best. Riddle wouldn’t react well to breaking Finn out of here, he knew that much. At least this would be a good distraction - if Riddle was focused on him, he wouldn’t be focused on his partners. Maybe they’d be able to get out of here before Riddle even realized the real reason Leo was in the building.
He’d rather die than give either of them up. He was a little scared at the honesty behind that statement… and the likelihood of it happening much sooner than he’d hoped.
Riddle adjusted his sights without saying a single word, finger against the trigger. Leo sucked in a harsh breath and braced himself.
Bang.
Zapped to Another World [Chapter 3]
[Masterlist]
Chapter 3 is finally up! T-T I am really sorry for the delays and future delays since I am juggling between school and Genshin.
Tumblr media
Despite the roof over your head and the cushy bed beneath you, you could not sleep.
You heaved a sigh as you reached your hand into your chest, detaching your Gnosis. If your knowledge was right, you were basically the 8th Archon. A phantom one, judging by Venti’s reaction.
“Oh good, you have not lost it yet.” A familiar voice echoed. You nearly rolled off the bed in surprise as you turned to face Artem.
“How? But I? Huh? What are you doing here?” You stuttered.
“Oh silly head. Or maybe I am the silly one for not letting you know. A Gnosis is a way that Archons can communicate with the Celestia. In other words, me!” Artem threw you a mischievous smile. He seemed a lot more easy-going. Was it because I agreed to this life? Or is it because his sister isn’t here?
You suspected both as Artem kicked back in the air.
“I am aware of that but…Doesn’t this make me…Irrelevant in this world? Weren’t there supposed to be just 7 Archons?” You knitted your brows as he casually floated around the giant room.
“Well, originally, yes. But things change!”
“So, what exactly am I an Archon of?” You looked back onto your Gnosis. As you had agreed to the “contract” when you fell, the Gnosis had transformed into what looked like a chess piece, with a sphere adorning the top of it.
“This world! Isn’t that exciting?”
Figures. The shape atop your Gnosis was shaped like a planet after all.
“…Honestly, not with the Fatui out to get people like me.” You sighed.
“Oh, if they try anything funny with the Order I have made, rest assured, us gods will deal with it.” Artem’s easy-going aura turned bloodthirsty.
You held your tongue instinctively as Artem laughed humourlessly.
“I am well aware of the Tsaritsa straying from her path and interfering. But I have faith in that Outworlder.” Artem hummed as he messed around in your room. He somehow managed to find lipstick paper in the drawers and had put it on.
“And me. Surely there is more to my existence in this world. Am I right in saying that?” You grasped your Gnosis tightly in your hand.
“Well yes, you are the failsafe I have created. It was pure chance that I lost that game and my temper ehe~” He blew you a kiss with his extremely pigmented lips.
You were tempted to shout. A pure chance that I got killed by that lightning volt, you mean!
“Aren’t you glad that it worked out?,” Artem closed the gap between the two of you, his eyes staring into yours. There was a dangerous glint in his eyes, as if he could hear your thoughts.
“I am glad for this second chance in life. But it is honestly concerning for someone like me…” You gulped back your fear of the god.
“Understandable. By the way, try to keep your existence as an Archon as downlow as possible. While the Archons may be aware of another one, they will not be able to pinpoint who it is exactly until they meet you. If they got rid of the failsafe, I will be forced to get someone to step in.”
“…Do you mean the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles?” Artem blinked in surprise.
“Wow, I’m surprised a human from Earth knows about her.  Yes, yes you are right. Clever girl.”
You felt the cold claws of dread grip your heart.
“Communication is a 2-way street. If they can observe and interact with the Celestia, they can interfere with it. That means, if they tried hard enough, they can very well overthrow the gods of the Celestia.” Artem turned serious.
“That is why you exist now. The original plan was to summon a hero from Elysium as a failsafe but seeing as to how things turn out, well, here we are.”
“You talk as if it is my fault that we are here now…” You frowned, “You raged during a game of Uno. Uno, of all games! And caused a whole lightning to zap me into the afterlife. Not to mention, the guilt trip that you pulled just to bring me here.”
Artem rolled his eyes, as if you were snapping over a trivial issue.
“Now you just sound like Solaria. Blegh.” Artem faked a retch before returning to his serious expression.
“Sorry if I made it sound bad that you are here. I mean no ill-intentions. You didn’t deserve to die because of my temper.” Artem patted your head, exhaling heavily through his nose.
You heard footsteps come by your door. Artem gave you a wink as he disappeared into a burst of golden sparks. You hurriedly stored your gnosis to your chest again.
“Miss (L/N), I apologize for the disturbance. Master Diluc has instructed me to provide you with clothing.” A maid came by, a set of clothes and shoes in her hands.
“How kind. Leave them by the dresser. And send him my…thanks.” You watched as the maid bowed her head, putting them down on the oak dresser before scurrying out of your room.
Rising and feeling the silken fabric of a simple red frock, black shirt and a matching cape, you exhaled through your nose. You knew that you were caught up in something complicated and the feeling of helplessness came back to you.
Artem’s voice then echoed in your ears.
‘Find the Outworlder and see to it that he saves this world. If not, well…’ A vision of Mondstadt in flames with the familiar black-red cubes flashed in your eyes.
‘Let’s just say, the option of going into Elysium will be open.’
Tumblr media
You did not know when you had drifted off to sleep, but you were glad for those few hours of rest. You slipped out of your day-old school uniform and donned the fresh clothes Diluc had given. They felt light and soft, perfect for traveling under the sun. Given how the sun was blazing through the morning dew, you decided against the cape and slipped it into your bag as well.
Preparing your things, you were not a fan of how the bag of mora you had received from Solaria was getting lighter. Maybe I should become an Adventurer as well…
Walking down the wooden stairs of the Winery, you were surprised to see a huge spread of food on the table, with Diluc leisurely eating his way through a pile of steaks, potatoes and cheese.
“Have some, the people of Mondstadt call this Pile Em Up.” Diluc pushed over a steaming plate. You swore you saw it sparkle in the candlelight.
You tentatively sliced a piece. Meat and cheese at this time of the day seemed a little rich, but as the warm ribs melted in your mouth, you could not hold back a satisfied sigh.
“Your maids are excellent cooks.”
“…I cooked it.”
“…Really?”
“Do you not believe that I can cook?”
Diluc gave you a bemused smile. You looked back down onto your steak. You mentally yelled at yourself to quit blushing.
“I-well, you don’t seem the type to cook so…I just thought…”You stumbled over your words. You could feel his eyes on you. You noticed a small, genuine smile forming on his lips. You have landed on one of the topics he admits pride in.
“Well, I do work as a bartender in the tavern at times, naturally I will need to be able to cook.”
A soft warmth formed in your chest as you smiled back. Finishing off the delicious plate of the juicy meat, you blinked in surprise as he offered you a pack of dried sunsettias and apples.
“The journey will be long. Please be safe on your travels.”
Huh. You always had the impression that he was cold and aloof, but Diluc seemed different than what you have seen in the game.
“Uhm, thank you for everything you have done. I will pay it back some day!” You bowed before turning towards the path leading out of Dawn Winery.
Tumblr media
“Uh…Uhmm….” You murmured in growing panic. Solaria had forgotten to pack a map! You were incredibly lost. A boy with white hair bolted past as you heard the sound of gibberish following behind him. You had a bad feeling about this.
“…Uh oh.”
You looked back. A group of very angry Hilichurls were running towards you and the boy.
“UH OH!”
You sprinted in the direction of the boy but you soon found yourself face-to-face with a cliff. The boy was nowhere to be seen.
You had to fight.
You turned around, grabbing an arrow that flew past your face. Everything seemed slower than you thought it would be.
Gritting your teeth, you pushed your arms in front of you. Your eyes shut themselves tightly as you willed for the area around you to freeze over. The screams of the Hilichurls stopped as you felt the icy winds against your cheek.
Cautiously, you opened your eyes to see them frozen solid. You walked up, tapping the ice with your knuckles.
It was as if they were made out of ice rather than being flash-frozen.
Whatever had happened, you were certain that you would be safe. Looking around, you noticed a blob of white hair in the bush near you.
“You alright there?” You called out. The boy poked his head out of the bush.
“A…Are they gone -AH!” The boy jumped as he saw the Hilichurls’ angry expressions before realizing that they are frozen solid.
“It should be safe and anyways, what is the use of a sword if you don’t use it to defend yourself?” You sighed, noticing a sword strapped to his side.
“They kind of caught me off-guard…” His expression of guilt made you feel bad as you awkwardly patted his head.
He reminded you of a little brother.
“What’s your name?” You asked as you took in the familiar garb he was wearing.
“I’m Bennett! I had a commission to retrieve treasure from the Hilichurls but…well…”He stole a glance at the Hilichurls, who remained frozen solid in their spots.
“I’m (Y/N) but I got lost…I forgot to pack in a map…” You sighed, scratching the back of your head awkwardly.
“Oh! I can help with that!”
Bennet fished out a crumpled piece of paper. It was a map! You were saved!
But just as you were about to thank Artem for his kindness, an arrow ripped through the middle.
The Hilichurls you froze over must have melted as you heard their angered screaming.
“Oh for f-“
Bennett drew his sword. You were familiar with his skill in the game as you saw him charging energy into his sword. Raising your hand, you willed for your power to protect him as he swung his sword. Flames rose as he struck down the Shield Hilichurl.
“Huh?” Bennett was confused when he realized he was not sent flying.
“Focus, Bennett, focus!” You yelled as you blasted the Hilichurls away from him. As much as you hated how his unluckiness seemed contagious, you did not want him to be hurt.
“Thanks!” Bennett beamed at you as he slashed down the Hilichurls. That seemed to be last of them as you finished off the Shield Hilichurl.
“Wow, thanks for saving me back there. Seriously, I owe you one.” Bennett made his gratitude known, thanking you profusely.  You sighed as you sat down on the grass.
Bennett took out the torn map and looked extremely sheepish.
“Don’t suppose you have an extra one?” You sighed again. Bennett shook his head in response.
“Hey, are you two okay? I just saw the bodies of the Hilichurls and I came by to investigate- Oh hey Bennett!” A girl’s voice greeted you both.
“Hey Amber! Yeah, I kinda got into a fight with them but she saved me!” Bennett excitedly introduced you to the Outrider.
“She’s uh…What’s your name again?”
“I’m (Y/N) and I’m trying to get to Liyue but I got lost. Bennett was showing me his map until they ripped it. Don’t suppose you have an extra in your pockets?” You wiped off the sweat as you stood up to greet Amber.
“Oh! I can help with that!” Amber gave you a neatly folded piece of paper.
“Please take care on your travels then. There is a rise in Hilichurl sightings in the area.” Amber saluted.
“Don’t suppose you’d like to join Bennett’s Adventure Team?” Bennett gave you a puppy-eyed dog look.
“Uhm…Well, I really need to make my way to Liyue…Unless you’d want to come with me and abandon everything you have here…”Bennett’s face fell. You instantly felt bad for the poor adventurer. You knew it was a tall order for you to ask him to come along.
“Hey hey…I’ll be back soon. We can do more adventuring once I fulfil my mission, okay?” You smiled at Bennett, who brightened at your promise.
‘If I am still alive, afterwards,’ A dark thought flashed through your head.
Waving good bye to the two, you continued on your path, leaving Mondstadt behind.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile
Diluc’s servant gulped as he approached a small cottage in the bamboo forest. Knocking the wooden door, he cleared his throat.
“Diluc sends his regards.” The door immediately opened to reveal a girl with dark brown hair.
“Oho! Finally! He calls! Did he happen to include an engagement ring by any chance?”
“U-Uh no, just this letter-“
“Oh how boring.” The door slammed shut.
“He includes payment with this letter.”
“Why didn’t you say so earlier?” The door swung open again. The girl swiped off the bag of mora the servant had prepared and wax-sealed letter smoothly.
Ripping the letter open, the girl scanned its contents carefully.
“As straightforward as always. Thanks for your hard work, I guess.” Waving off the servant casually, the girl smiled to herself.
“A recon mission for a stranger in red and black, huh? Well, well, well. Time to dust off the old umbrella.”
Ugh, my heart from chapter 69 of AoT.  The panels between Levi and Kenny were just so incredibly poignant, and so much of it was just through the visuals.  I think what got me the most during this scene was just how much we see Levi still really CARES about Kenny.
Like when the soldier he’s with starts to point out to Levi that Kenny is dying, and we get that close-up on Levi’s eyes, and you can just SEE the despair and grief there, right before he sends the soldier away to be with Kenny alone.  Or in the panels after Kenny reveals he has the serum, and we just get these quiet moments between the two of them, Levi looking down at Kenny as he sits dying, slumped against the tree, and once again, we just see Levi’s grief.    I find these moments incredibly moving, to see how much Levi still cares about Kenny, the pain he feels at losing the closest person he ever had to a father, despite what Kenny’s done to him, despite the pain Kenny’s caused him.  And that pain’s made clear when Levi asks Kenny who he really was to his mother, and Kenny answers at last that he was her brother, and we see the flashback of Levi watching Kenny walk away from him, abandoning him.  We see Levi’s pain at this realization reflected in the present too, as he realizes that Kenny left him anyway, despite being his uncle.  And that also comes through in Levi asking Kenny, at last, why he left him that day.  You have to think that Levi must have felt all these years since then that it was because of himself, because he’d done something wrong.  That his own family left him all alone, in one of the most dangerous places inside the walls, to fend for himself as nothing more than a boy.  And we see Kenny finally atone for that, if only a little, by granting Levi the kindness here of telling him that it wasn’t Levi’s fault, by admitting that it was because he couldn’t be “some kid’s Dad.”.  Admitting the fault was always with Kenny, not Levi.  I think, this must have been a weight off of Levi’s shoulders, in a big way, and I think that’s reflected in the next scene, when Historia punches Levi, and we see for the first, and I think only time in the entire series, Levi actually smile.  We see an actual expression of happiness on his face, and maybe it’s because, through Kenny’s admission to him, Levi realized for maybe the first time ever that he wasn’t left alone because he was unlovable, that it wasn’t his fault, wasn’t anything he did wrong.  Levi’s finally able to let go of that particular pain from his childhood, and maybe stop blaming himself.  This is so moving, because it’s one of the only instances where we get to see Levi actually experience happiness.  I think maybe the only instance, except for the very end, with Gabby and Falco.
I also think Kenny’s words to Levi, after his monologue about how everyone he ever met was a slave to something, when he asks Levi emphatically “What are you!?  A hero!?”, are really interesting.  Because I don’t think Kenny ever imagined that Levi would use the power Kenny gave him for something as selfless as helping to save humanity.  Kenny taught Levi how to fight for Levi’s own benefit, and that alone, to help him survive in the Underground.  And for his whole life, that was how Kenny himself saw power, as something to use only for ones own benefit.  He sought more power because he wanted to see the world the way Uri saw it, and he wasn’t in the habit of helping anyone more than he needed to.  Like when he says Levi was free to go up the surface if he wanted, but if he did, he would have to do it on his own.  He probably can’t figure out how or why Levi turned out this way, then, using his strength and power for others, risking his life for others, especially because Kenny knows himself the hardship and struggle of trying to survive in the Underground, how there really isn’t any room to be selfless down there if you want to keep on living.  And maybe that also had something to do with him giving Levi the serum, because he saw a goodness in Levi he never had in himself, a selflessness and generosity and compassion he never possessed.  The fact he gives Levi the serum right after admitting that he left him because of his own shortcomings, maybe reflects this too.  He knew Levi would do something better with it than he ever could have.  Just a really touching scene.  Levi’s look too, after Kenny gives him the serum, and he looks up to see Kenny’s died, and the way Levi says his name, ugh, my heart.  Again, you can just see how much Levi cared about him, despite all their differences and the pain of Kenny’s abandonment.  Levi clearly didn’t want to see him die.
Also, in chapter 70, the way Levi is the only one who notices Eren’s unwell, after testing the new Titan weapon, once again just demonstrates his compassion and awareness of others.  The way he bends down and gives Eren a handkerchief, and tells Hange that they need to start taking Eren’s limitations into consideration, is really moving.
Fred knew what he wanted to get Y/N the day that he asked her to come join his family for Christmas. It was their final year in Hogwarts, and although yes, they were both seventeen and decently young, he knew there was no one else out there for him.
He stared down at the dainty ring in the box, overthinking his choice. Maybe she didn’t like the diamond cut. Maybe she didn’t even want a diamond. Maybe she didn’t even want him.
“Fred, you keep looking at that box and you’re gonna go mental.” George whispered, helping himself to some toast. Luckily Y/N, along with everyone else in the house, was still sleeping so he could stare at the tiny piece of jewelry in peace. Fred couldn’t fall back asleep after waking up at around five, his nerves getting the best of him, and George’s ‘twin instinct’ woke him up as well, leading to the two of them sitting in the kitchen as the sun slowly rose over the Burrow.
Today was Christmas eve, and tomorrow, Fred was going to ask Y/N to marry him.
“I can't stop looking at it, George.” Fred whined, tearing his eyes away from it and looking at his brother, “She’s going to be wearing this every day for the rest of her life, it has to be perfect, y’know?”
George sighed, sitting down next to his brother with a mouthful of toast and jam, “She’s gonna love it, mate. It’s Y/N.”
Fred knew George was right. Y/N wasn’t picky, she was simple and loved anything that Fred got her — she always had. But this was a whole new level.
“Oi, get your big mouth away from the food before you eat it all.” Ron’s half-asleep self came barreling down the stairs and into the kitchen. Fred closed the box and hid it in the pocket inside his sweater, not wanting his plan to be known by anyone other than George. Ron had a big mouth, Y/N would surely find out if he knew.
Ron eyed the twins suspiciously, “What are you two gits doing up so early anyways?”
Fred’s eyes widened and he plastered a smile on his face, “We’re shop owners now, Ronnie. We’ve had business matters to attend to. Owls to send and stuff.” George nodded, going along with his brother’s lie. If there was one thing these boys were good at, it was lying.
“On Christmas Eve? Sucks to be you, then.” Ron picked up a muffin, shoving the entire thing in his mouth as crumbs fell all over his shirt, adding to the already countless grease stains.
Within an hour, the whole lot had woken up and came down for breakfast. Y/N sat next to Fred, her hand intertwined with his under the table as she ate a strawberry, deep in conversation with Hermione and Ginny. Fred was supposed to be engaged in a discussion with Percy, but he was only half listening, his mind more focused on the nervous butterflies in his stomach that were slowly turning into aggressive wasps.
“You good, Freddie?” Y/N’s soft voice spoke from next to him, a genuine look of concern on her face, “Your hand is shaking.”
Fred grinned at her, “I had an extra cup of coffee this morning. Guess the caffeine is getting to me.” The lie rolled off his tongue effortlessly, he hadn’t had a drop of caffeine because he knew damn well that if he mixed it in with his already stressed out body, he’d be a train wreck.
Y/N shot him a breathtaking smile and Fred swore his heart leaped. Nearly four years of being together and he still couldn't get over how perfect she was. From the loose strand of hair that always fell in her face, to the light freckles grazing her delicate cheeks, to the way her eyes seemed to shine every time she looked at him, he was completely smitten and nothing could change that. He knew from the moment they had their first date that he wanted to marry her.
She returned to her conversation about books or something — Fred wasn't really paying attention — and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, calming his poor heart.
---
That afternoon, Y/N had left with Hermione and Ginny to go do some very, very last minute Christmas shopping after Molly scolded them for not getting it done on time, so Fred found himself outside playing Quidditch with his brothers to pass the time. (Molly had actually kicked them out to do some wrapping, but still.)
He was still out there nearly an hour and a half later, zooming around on his broomstick and letting the brisk wind blow through his hair when he saw the three girls arrive. His eyes immediately went to Y/N, her arms filled with bags and her cheeks tinted red from the cold air. Her eyes landed on him and she smiled, waving him over.
Fred swooped down to the point where he was next to her, his eyes scanning over her face, “How was shopping, love?”
She grinned at him, “Good! But don’t come inside, I got you a few things and they need to be wrapped first.” She pressed her lips to his, making him want to completely forget about the game he was a part of and run inside with her, but he let her pull away and head inside out of the winter air, a dopey grin on his face as he returned to his brothers.
“You’re obsessed.” Ron called out once Fred rejoined the game.
“Leave him alone,” George smirked, “Once you grow some balls and ask Hermione out you’ll know just how he feels.”
Ron flushed bright red, making his brothers burst out laughing as they continued the game.
---
That night after dinner, Fred couldn’t sit still. Y/N was cuddled into his side on the couch, watching the slow fire burn down as her eyelids slowly started getting heavier, meanwhile Fred had enough chaotic energy to go run a marathon. It took all his self control not to let his leg bounce up and down as a sign of nervous energy, because he knew that if he did, Y/N would question him. The last thing he wanted was for her to be suspicious.
“Freddie?” Her tired voice mumbled as she pulled her head off of his shoulder to look him in the eye, “I really am having a wonderful time here with your family.”
He smiled, pulling her forehead close to him so he could press a gentle kiss on her skin, “And I’m having a wonderful time with you.”
She grinned, placing a kiss on the tip of his nose, “I love you, my little goof.”
Fred melted, leaning even closer to her touch if that was possible, “And I love you, my little angel.”
“Should we head up for bed?” She whispered in his ear, despite the fact that there was no one else in the room. He nodded his head quicker than he intended to, but he knew that no matter when they went to bed, he wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight. By this time tomorrow, Y/N could be his fiancee. Or she could have crushed his heart in her tiny hand by saying ‘no’ and leaving him spiralling in a pit of self despair.
He grabbed her hand, ignoring his thoughts, and led her up the many, many flights of steps and into his room. Which was pretty much their room now, if they were being honest. She took off her large knitted sweater that Molly Weasley had made her last year and sat it down neatly on the end of the bed. That was another thing Fred loved about her. She was pretty much his opposite when it came to small things - while he would have just thrown his own sweater across the room and only looked for it when he was cold next, she gently folded it and placed it where she knew she’d be able to find and use it.
Fred smiled at the folded sweater, looking over to Y/N who was now untying her hair, letting the loose waves cascade down her shoulders. She really did look like an genuine angel.
“Whatcha lookin’ at?” She grinned, walking over to him. Fred placed his hands on her hips, letting them slide slightly under the tank top she had on, his fingers rubbing against her soft skin. Y/N felt goosebumps rise under his touch and leaned in closer to him.
“You, you gorgeous woman.” He smirked. She blushed, trying to take the attention away from herself by running her hands through his hair, causing his eyes to flutter shut. She placed another quick kiss on his nose and took off to get ready for bed.
As she drifted off to sleep that night, her light breaths fanning over Fred’s shoulder, he couldn’t help but worry about tomorrow. He really, really wanted to marry her, but what if she felt like they were too young? Being engaged didn’t mean you had to get married right away, but what if she wanted to wait until after Hogwarts to start thinking about marriage?
He shook his head, not wanting to keep planting negative thoughts in his mind as he looked over to the woman sleeping next to him, her chest rising and falling with each breath she took. She looked incredibly peaceful and Fred wished he could be in the same position. He only wished that all his stressing could be worth it — that tomorrow night, at this time, Y/N would be wearing the ring on her left hand and grinning at it like a lovestruck fool.
She’s going to say yes, his subconscious nagged him, sounding as if George were saying the words to him and not his mind. He smiled. She was going to say yes.
---
“Freddie, it’s Christmas!” Y/N shook the ginger boy awake, startling him out of his dream. He scanned the room in a panic, calming down once he saw the dazzling smile on his girl’s face and the realization that there was, in fact, no immediate danger.
Today was the day.
“Merry Christmas,” he smiled lazily, pulling her back down against his chest. She giggled, placing a kiss on his shoulder, his neck, and then his cheek.
“We have to get up! It’s nearly ten, I hear your family downstairs already.” She reluctantly pulled away from him, already feeling colder than she was moments ago. Surprisingly, Fred gave off a lot of body heat, and she already missed it.
“Fine, just ‘cause it’s Christmas,” he grinned at her, figuring out a way to sneak the ring downstairs without her noticing, “Tell ‘em I’ll be down in a few.”
Lucky for Fred, she was too excited about the holiday to question why he wasn't going down with her. She picked up the neatly folded sweater on the end of the bed, threw it on over her pyjamas, and rushed out of the room. As soon as Fred heard her footsteps retreating down the stairs, he jumped out of bed and opened his nightstand, taking out the little velvet box and placing it on the bed. He then opened his dresser and grabbed the baggiest sweater her could find, throwing it on and hiding the ring in one of his little pockets on the inside, out of sight.
He looked over himself once more in the mirror, “You got this, Fred.” And with that, he rushed down the stairs, tripping over his own two feet the whole way down. Once he made it downstairs without injury, he turned to face his entire family sitting around the Christmas tree, everyone had their tea in Christmas mugs that had been painted by the Weasley kids when they were younger. Gifts littered the ground around the large, overly decorated tree, the twinkling lights adding to the holiday ambiance.
Y/N smiled and pat the couch next to her, signalling she had saved that spot for Fred. He poured himself a quick tea and sat down next to her, placing his hand on her thigh to hopefully take his mind off of the events that were about to unfold. He tried hard to keep his mind away from what he would say and how she would react, but there was no way he could keep distracted for too long.
George looked over at him and winked, knowing fully well that he was the only one who knew what was going to happen. Fred tried to avoid the tinge of pink on his cheeks, turning his head down to face the carpet.
Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Harry (who probably arrived overnight as he wasn’t there yesterday), along with the rest of the Weasley family sat around the tree, all still talking, until Molly stood up and clapped her hands, a big grin on her freckled face.
“Shall we get started, then?”
A mumble of agreement made its way around the circle, so Molly went over to the tree and picked up the first box she saw. It happened to be a bunch of boxes, actually, because she handed one box to everyone, clapping her hands.
Y/N smiled at the box on her lap, waiting for everyone to start opening theirs before she picked at the ribbon, letting it fall to the ground and then ripping the paper off of it.
“Oh, wow, mum,” Ron forced a smile, unfolding the furry jumper with a giant green R on the front, “It’s almost the same as last year’s.”
Molly waved her hands, “Oh, Ron. You know they’re your favourites!”
Fred unwrapped his, eyes widening at the large baby blue sweater with FRED W. knitted into it with orange, “Mum, blue clashes with my hair.”
Y/N giggled, taking hers out next. Hers was the opposite of Fred’s, the orange knit with baby blue letters of her initials in the middle, making her grin.
She folded it neatly and placed it in her lap, “Thank you, Mrs. Weasley, I love it.” Fred gave her a look as to say ‘are you mental’ before tossing his behind him on the couch and using it as a pillow. Molly rolled her eyes at her son, smiling kindly to Y/N before walking back towards the tree.
“Wait, mum, I think Fred has a gift he'd like to give Y/N next,” George piped up, causing the colour to completely drain from Fred’s face. Everyone turned their eyes to him to see what the gift was going to be, making Fred nearly a million times more nervous than he actually was.
“Thanks for putting me on the spot, George.” Fred said through gritted teeth, turning his attention to Y/N next to him who looked at him with curiosity in her eyes. He pulled his hand away from her thigh, not wanting her to feel how clammy and sweaty it had become in the last five seconds.
“Go on, then, Fred, which one is it?” Ron looked under the tree, trying to find a gift with Y/N’s name on it but having no success.
“It’s not under the tree, Ron.” Fred glared daggers at his younger brother, his nerves getting the best of him.
He once again turned to face Y/N, who had her undivided attention on him. He was nervous as hell, sure, but when he looked into her eyes and the faint smile ghosting on her lips, he knew how badly he wanted this.
He wanted her forever.
“Y/N,” Fred started, his voice shaky, “I remember when I saw you for the first time. You walked into Potions class looking pissed off because Snape failed you on an assignment that you were certain you did perfectly. You walked in there, told him off, rendered the class speechless, and sat in your seat for the rest of Potions with this proud smirk on your face.”
Y/N giggled slightly at the memory, thinking it over in her head. She had later found out that a certain Slytherin who was on detention duty had hidden her assignment from Snape and that’s why she had failed.
“And I remember when I spoke to you for the first time. It was right before a Quidditch game, I bumped into you by accident and I was ready for you to go off on me with that same passion you had in Potions, but you were so quiet and shy, it was like you were a whole different person.” Fred continued talking, his voice still shaky but he barely noticed, all of his attention on Y/N.
“And then I couldn’t get you off my mind. I was obsessed. I asked you to come to Hogsmeade village with me one weekend and my heart was yours. There was no one else for me. Just you. We sat in the Three Broomsticks and talked for four hours about everything. I went to bed that night thinking of you.”
Y/N gazed into Fred’s eyes, forgetting about everyone else in the room. Her heart was beating faster than she’d ever felt it before, and her mouth felt dry, as if every word in the dictionary had vanished from her vocabulary.
“When you became mine, I knew it was meant to be. You helped George and I with pranks, you’ve supported my idea to open a shop, you've gotten along brilliantly with my family, and you’re the smartest woman I’ve ever met — sorry Hermione.” Fred turned to face the other witch for a quick second before turning back to Y/N.
Y/N felt as if her entire body was putty in Fred’s hands. She probably looked like a fish out of water, her mouth agape and her eyes bulging out of her head, redness creeping up onto her cheeks.
“What I’m trying to say is that — I can’t imagine a day without you by my side. Though the good, the bad, the ugly, you know the saying. I want you with me until my last breath.” Fred finished, standing up and taking the ring out of his sweater pocket, getting down on one knee in front of her.
Y/N’s hand flew to her mouth, and she could faintly see Molly Weasley gripping her husband’s arm for dear life.
“Y/N Y/L/N, will you do me the biggest honour in all the world and become my wife?” Fred asked, opening the tiny box and revealing the ring. His hands were shaking, and he felt as if everyone else in the room had vanished, the two of them being the only ones remaining.
Y/N stayed speechless, her eyes staring into Fred’s as if she could see her future in them. Which she could. She loved Fred with every ounce in her body, and didn’t want any one else by her side for the rest of her life.
“Yes.”
She had said it so quietly Fred wasn’t even sure he heard her.
“What?”
“Yes!” She jumped up, landing on him and wrapping her arms around his neck. Fred let out the biggest sigh of relief, placing the ring box on the couch and engulfing her with a hug. He could hear his family cheering around them, but all he could focus on was her. She pulled away from him, the biggest smile he had ever seen plastered on her face, her eyes shining brightly as if he had just given her the sun.
“I love you.” She smiled, leaning closer to him and pressing a light kiss on his lips. He smiled against her touch, reaching behind her to pick up the ring box off the couch. He held it in front of her and she smiled, holding out her hand for him.
He picked up the ring and slid it gently on her finger, his eyes locked with hers the entire time.
“Freddie, you put it on my middle finger.” she giggled, holding it up to him as if she were flipping him off, the dazzling ring sitting proudly.
“My bad.” he chuckled, sliding it off and placing it on her ring finger, where it belonged, and where it would be sitting comfortably for the rest of Y/N’s life.
“I only got you a notebook and a pen holder,” she smirked, admiring the jewel. Fred found himself laughing, pulling her in for a hug once more.
Molly stood up, clapping her hands, “Yay! This calls for celebration! We have a new Weasley!”
Y/N Weasley. Fred really liked the sound of that.
