Ok it’s ranking Fives time and I’ve definitely forgotten a couple but now they’re all dead anyway so whatever also Season 4 Spoiler Warning

1.Brisket Five- Iconic. Apparently always wrecking shit for the other Fives and seems to take pride in it. I feel like he was the one who created the commission bc he just has that aura of I Want to Cause Problems. Wish we got a full episode on him and why he’s named Brisket Five and the other shit he wrecked instead of ep 5.

2. Apocalypse Five- I mean he tried to kill Homewrecker Five what more could you want in a man. Only second because he missed.

3.News Paper Five- Great with numbers even by Five standards. Opens up questions about the news paper itself like what timeline is it from? Is it a Five produced newspaper? He is in a timeless zone why is he reading a newspaper? Is it just for the crossword/sudoku? It’s probably just for the crossword/sudoku.

4.Drunk Five- me too buddy me too. Presumably got kicked out of the deli/diner/whatever it was and I hope it was because he saw Homewrecker Five coming and was preparing to get rid of the lowest common denominator.

5.Waiter Five- I don’t trust him no real Five would ever work customer service willingly there’s something else going on but he also serves Homewrecker Five a sandwich without enough sauerkraut and sucky coffee so points for that.

6.Booth Five- Boring. Bland. Might as well be Shitty Exposition Five and his only redeeming quality is that I must assume he was trying to motivate Homewrecker Five by telling him to give up so he would do the opposite and save everyone which clearly backfired.

7.Literally Any Other Five I’ve Missed- idk like Old Man/Technically Mentally Younger Five from seasons past or Baby Five or Pre-Time Travel Five you get the picture.

8. Homewrecker Five- Last and certainly Least what the fuck dude. Why are you like that. Why did you give up on your family your entire life has been about getting back to them and keeping them safe like you didn’t even try? Also why not go get Delores????? why did you not tell Lila about the way home immediately????? What the fuck is wrong with you????? Why are you working for the CIA and how did you not notice your boss was in a fucking cult he had a tattoo????? Fully convinced Five from seasons 1-3 was actually either Brisket Five or Waiter Five and he got fucked over by some cosmic entity and is being forced to work customer service and is currently biding his time before he goes and saves his family for realsies.

ESCAPING INTO A SHIP

So what exactly made me latch onto the Sydcarmy ship like a leech on a water buffalo?

It was unexpected (for me)! Yes, the very first meeting between Syd and Carm did make an impact. I thought "Oooh, what's this?!" However, Carmy was/is such a mess that I quickly dismissed it. And Sydney just seemed to want his professional approval and a partner in making something great after the soul-crushing failure of Sheridan. So, the first season I personally didn't feel a mutual sexual/romantic tension, more like an automatic respect and shared goals/passions. Sydney nor Carm were obviously trying to flirt. Most slow burns on TV are 100% obvious like a Jeanine and Gregory (Abbott Elementary), Nick and Jess (New Girl), Jake and Amy (Brooklyn 99), Jim and Pam (The Office)...Until Braciole Ep. 8 that is.

S. 1 Episode 8- I won't get into everything but Carmy was desolate. Yes, he became a psycho chef and two people quit in Ep.7. However, he mourned Sydney more than Marcus. She was in his flashback/nightmare (?), then the way he told Tina that she looked like Syd (the poor pup), him texting her before opening the note from Mikey, and finally the most gorgeous locked gaze scene since Pride and Prejudice (2005). The soft lighting, the music, the colors, the mind-reading...magical. I still didn't get it initially. Silly, blind me.

Mentorship where??? Season 2 Carm and Syd's "mentorship" dynamic is pretty much over. They are true partners and spending more time together. They're dressing alike even when not in uniform, finishing each other's sentences or talking in unison. Sydney is opening up more of herself and Carm is asking to know more. They use the ASL sign for sorry with each other and no one else until ep 10. Then there's that locker scene in ep. 1 or 2, when they almost hang out just cause. However, Carmy misses the moment and there's the return of the kicked pup face. Before being on the ship I was delighted with all of their scenes and was looking forward to the food tour. They just ROCK together on screen.

Classic Love Triangle- Who's Claire? She's "Claire Bear", the prototypical "cool girl", who is willing to chase an socially awkward, wrong-number-giving man, despite being a pretty ER resident with no shortage of options. Did a CW writer get hired? Anyways, why was her presence used almost exclusively to put strain on Carmy and Sydney's relationship instead of The Bear generally? We could have had scenes with Nat, Richie, and Marcus arguing with Carmy about him being distracted due to Claire. They saved 99% of that for Sydney. They CHOSE to insert her in between or just after scenes with him and Claire. Showing Sydney's tattoos and her getting dressed with the stained chef's coat juxtaposed with them was WILD.

I LOVE that both believe their interpersonal problems are solely about The Bear/business partnership. In most "slowburns" the characters are far more conscious and actively work to keep things platonic. Jeremy might be a smidge aware that Sydney means more to him after the panic attack, but I bet he's shoved it down. All he knows afterward is that being with Claire feels wrong hence ignoring her call and recommitting to SYDNEY. He could of said "You all/This/The Bear deserve my full focus etc..." He was also nagged into greeting Claire at Friends and Family, seemed anxious when Fak brought her up right before The Table scene, and also while explaining that "she's great" to Sydney. He was at peace when focused on Sydney in the moment below.

The actors: Jeremy and Ayo's real life friendship is warms my soul and their chemistry onscreen is amazing. DON'T WASTE IT!!!

Jeremy smolders on screen. I want to see Carmy continue to stare, yearn, fall, then eventually confess and for Sydney to reciprocate his feelings. Anyhoo, does anyone else melt when Carm means business?! They do this twice in season one and it's not good for me. Whew, I need to clean my whole house or run a few miles.

Finally, there's so many other parallels between these two. They are fearful avoidants, have a missing or dead parent, jacked up stomachs, use sarcasm, but are generally very earnest, they struggle with anxiety, are compassionate, are perfectionists, peace-makers, give people multiple chances, are workaholics...so much more. A lot of that is also ME, lol.

Sydcarmy is my Roman Empire. I love them as much as you can fictional characters and they deserve the most tender, angsty, triumphant, romantic best-friends to more love story.

Your dad was gonna be 46 and you decided to make it speciale. You walked towords the tattoo shop with peter who you had been practicing how to copy voices along with vis. You walked in and got into the chair as the artist had everything ready while peter show going thru a book full of tattoos.

As the artist started working on your left and you looked over to peter. 'You know could get a tattoo yourself.' He lifted his head, eyed wide as if you suggested to steal thor poptarts. 'May would kill me!' You rolled your eyes with a smile knowing at his age you done way worse. 'You can just get a small one on somewhere like the bottom of your foot.' You commented not really putting any further thought behind it but he did end up getting a spider tattoo on the bottom of his foot.

As a typical stark party there is way more drinks then there probably should but far more tame then previous birthdays your dad threw. iron man 2 anyon- anyway, the amount of people was also at a far more reasonable number at some point your dad decided he was tired of waiting and started to open the gifts. You choose to be a troll this year though because you made sure your gift was the last and it was packed in a big wooden box making your dad scoff. 'Kid i raised you i'm prepared.' He left The room and came back with his hand covered the iron man repulsor only to find a concrete layer on the inside making people laugh.

'How thick is that layer?' 'Eh about inch or 3.' 'A inch or 3?'

You simple shurged and your dad rolled his eyes at you as he continued to tear his way to your gift at somepoint he found a small safe written on it alpaca. Everyone including your dad was confused.

'Its a hint.' You simpley stated trying to hold back laughing remembering your 8 birthday. Its was the first birthday you would spend without your mom son tony tired to make it extra speciale and bought jareld, a alpaca that ended up spitting all over your dad.

It took less then a minute for your dad to figure out what you ment and he just playfully glared at you before putting in the date. He found his helmet wrapped up in plastic. 'So YOU took it.' 'Well techically pietro did.' 'Hey keep me out of it!' He shouted in his heavy sokovian accent. He started to rip the plastic away while the others are enjoying the show and the birthday card fell out of it. He picked it up and open it finding a receipt.

'What is this?' 'Vis you can stop concealing now.' You raised you hand, clearing your voice.

'I am, Iron Man.'

You imitated your dad voice and face he has while working on the suit. Tony eyes widen as he saw the repulsor tattoo. He recognized the design, it was based off the mark 3. 'Oh and look at the back.' You turned your hand to saw the tiny the acr reactor that says 'proof tony stark has a heart'. He took his sunglasses off to make sure he saw it right.

'I should get one too.' Your dad father said and for the first time in your life you were speechless. So much so that the only thing that came out of your mouth wasn't even a word just a sound. 'Eh?'

'Yeah i should get one based off of your suit.' He put the glasses back on althought there was something about the way he said it that was very unfamiliar. 'Uh sure why not? It would look cute for the media anywa- wait... Are you crying???' Who the fuck is this and what did they do to your dad?

'What? pfft no i- oh who am i kidding?!' Tony exclaimed rather dramaticly. He grabbed your face squishing your cheeks slighty while smiling at you, only confusing you more.

One thing Hiccup didn't expect to see so up close was a picture of some more furred deer with large antlers and body made of lines. Much less to bump into the picture on the box.

He was running late to meet up with his ex for a breakfast at their favorite cafe and already sure that he attached his peg leg wrong. Now he was on his back and trying to regain consciousness over seeing tribal furry deers fly above him. It took him a few minutes to notice someone was calling him.

"Hey! Are you okay?!" As if an alarm activated in his head Hiccup sat up and instantly held back of his head in pain.

The big box was dropped on the ground carefully as the one holding it rushed to help him.

"Hey, slowly okay? That was quite a fall." The man spoke softly and one big arm supported his back while other batted his hand away to feel any swelling.

After regaining some consciousness and his vision cleared up better(though every around the center was still blurry), he noticed a tattooed man with tribal tattoo on his chin watch him with deep worry.

His eyes were amber brown, his skin was tan and he had his mid long hair tied, but that didn't stop bangs to sneak past his ears. Wait, were those beads in them?

After looking down he noticed that he was wearing a worn out dark green sleeveless hoodie and grey sweatpants.

"Hold on, I'll bring you some water." He quickly left, but not for a very long time. Just now Hiccup noticed that the man put a folded blanket behind his head and put his legs in the air by putting them against the box he was holding.

At least he seemed to know what to do.

Hiccup on the other hand didn't know what to do at all. But guessing by the spinning feeling in his body he could only wait to get better before-Oh shit.

What would have surely been a splat on the ground was avoided by a strong arm hooking him from below around chest to stop his fall.

Once they managed that Hiccup let go of his hold and accepted the handed sports bottle of water.

The man took the prothesis and placed it next to the leg it belonged to.

"Want me to call you an ambulance?"

"No no, I'm fine thanks. I was just in the hurry and didn't notice you in the hallway." He took one more chug of water and gave the man the bottle back for now.

"Thanks."

"No problem, sorry for causing your fall. I'm moving in and this was the only box I could take while my cousin is parking." He motioned the the huge box with the reindeer logo.

Hiccup chuckled and reattached his leg "Yeah, this hallway always seemed too narrow for my taste. Hopefully I won't see reindeers in my sleep now."

His joke got the man to snicker before he held out his hand to Hiccup.

"Eret Eretson, room S8." He said with a bit of an accent. Maybe British?

"Straight?"

"No sir, gay."

Hiccup burst into laughter after the number pun and grin Eret pulled on after saying that.

After minimizing the laughter to giggles he said "There's no room S 8. The landlord ordered wrong fond so the 5 looks like a S."

"Shoot, there goes my chances of an endless joke opportunities. But at least it's not A5. Because anyone I would anger would write an extra S there and my address name would be an Ass." Joked Eret, cracking Hiccup again before saying.

"That's your aim anyway, so it would give a straight up message."

Now that cracked Eret into laughter "Good one."

"Hiccup."

"Um, bless you?"

Hiccup then chuckled "No that's my name. Harry Hiccup Haddock. But everyone calls me Hiccup. My mom's idea when she was high on adderall and dad on antidepressants on stress. My room is 54."

Eret clearly fought another laughter as he grimaced and made stiffened giggles after shaking his hand and helping him up.

"That must be a great story for office parties."

"Eh, after a few years it gets old." Shrugged Hiccup and drank rest of the water.

"Anyway I should go else my ex is gonna think I stood her up on our breakfast plans."

"Trying to get back together?" Quizzed Eret curious but Hiccup shook his head "Nah, just a tradition from college years together. Anyway, see you around. Hopefully next time without any crash collisions." Eret let Hiccup walk past him before taking the box and taking it to his apartment.

okay. i figured it out. putting this under a read more because i'm absolutely fucking bonkers and this went deeper than i expected to.

wall of text under the read more eheheh.

let's start out with jace (my beloved) who made making a character sheet so easy by being an obviously straight up sorcerer. i'm making the assumption that all teachers at aguefort somehow got to level 20. and here is what i came up with using standard array, no rolls:

strength: 10 (+0) dexterity: 14 (+2) constitution: 17 (+3) intelligence: 8 (-1), it is a 5 in my heart but i'm not messing with numbers for standard array purposes. wisdom: 12 (+1), which i think is in line with canon because i feel like i remember him having to make a WIS save and bleem said he only had a +1 charisma: 20 (+5), i think an argument could be made for his CHA to be higher but i don't... remember him doing any damage spells or having to make and CHA saves so. again, for standard array purposes i'm leaving it. he's at least 22 CHA in my heart.

but so with all the numbers out of the way... that leaves figuring out spell splots/subclass. because of fanfic (do i need to namedrop? we know what fic) i went with divine sorcerer.

gave him heightened, subtle, quickened, and careful metamagics but could be convinced of others.

for feats i lined him up with:

fey touched: misty step without giving up a learned spell slot as well as a +1 to CHA bringing it to 18 actor: +1 charisma to bring CHA to 19 as well as advantage on deception and performance checks when trying to pass yourself off as a different person. prodigy: expertise to deception as well as proficiency with a language and tool kit didn't think about language or tool proficiency... but i am strangely fond of jace having proficiency with a forgery kit. skill expert feat for another +1 to round him out to CHA 20 (as well as expertise in persuasion).

now i also figured that even if he isn't an adventurer, he might have some gear so gear wise i gave him a ring of protection, bloodwell vial +3 (brings his spell save to a whopping 22), and a barrier tattoo (rare) which sets him at a comfortable 18 AC and takes up 3 attunement slots. (i know he did not have 18 AC but i love him more than bleem)

now. spells.

taking into consideration that jace has canonically used or implied to use: enlarge/reduce, misty step, counterspell, bigby's hand, and flesh to stone (which... i hadn't realized was a sorcerer spell), and detect magic. that leaves SOME wiggle room with the rest of his spells.

this is the spell list i generated thinking about my own characterization of him and considering that i think he might've been more used for control magics and they probably would have used oisin for more offensive stuff since... wizard.

and as i was typing this i realized that jace and oisin did use some sort detect thoughts or something.... though. it could have also been a dominate spell? anyway.........

so OF COURSE this is gonna be so different to what bleem used because he probably used an npc stat block and just added very minimal flavor to it. but this is what i've come up with.

now. porter is a lot more straightforward literally between my textpost about his multiclass split to now i finished his sheet.

once again i used standard array. and made him an 18 barbarian path of the zealot, and 2 level paladin. he does not get an oath with only 2 paladin levels which i think works for his narrative.

strength: 20 (+5), however i do want it noted that porter HAS to have a 27 to strength to get his +8 and his +14 to strength saves and athletics checks. dexterity: 14 (+2) constitution: 17 (+3). considering that bleem said porter was health over AC, this means he has to have something artificially inflating his CON or just basic hit points. because a barb/pal multiclass with average dice is only 190 HP which for a bbeg is laughable. (again, i know that bleem did not use actual character sheets but, pre-final fight bear with me) intelligence: 8 (-1), his INT is also a 5 in my heart but not messing with standard array. wisdom: 12 (+1) charisma: 13 (+1), i do think that porter has more charisma than this. he is genuinely a creepy guy, but i think he's at least a +2 maybe even a +3. but i digress. i used standard array.

now for feats. i selected these with the thought in mind that porter's (pre-final fight) weapon is a vicious maul (extra +2d6 on crits) and i'm ASSUMING he's just going for straight damage which is scary.

Great Weapon Master Crusher (+1 to STR) which basically gives him the ability to once per turn push a creature away from him if he hits it with bludgeoning damage. it ALSO gives him advantage on a creature he scores a crit that does bludgeoning on until the start of his next turn.... scary opportunity attacks Athlete (+1 to STR) and makes it so it only takes 5 feet of your movement to stand when knocked prone, climbing doesn't take extra movement, and you can make a running jump with only 5 feet of movement vs 10 ability score increase (+1 STR, +1 CON) brings STR to 20 and CON up to 16 for a +3

now with the paladin multiclass, porter does not get access to the barb capstone and instead gets access to 2 paladin spells and smites. however, with this multiclass he can only smite twice.......... like bro....... LOL

his extra stuff is funny because he only has 10 lay on hands charges so he can technically get rid of disease/poison but only twice per long rest LOL. 2 divine sense which eh. and then 6 rage charges which isn't bad. but. i digress.

anyway. this was more of a huge thought exercise in order to justify what i'm doing in my fic. and also to think through if i really do want to multiclass my own barb.

funnily enough...... realized path of zealot gives me some wiggle room with stuff.... ehehehe.

Do you make your bed? Rarely, tbh. I used to do it every day, but I nap so much recently that there’s not really a point. Plus, I have curtains in front of my bed, so you don’t really see it anyways.

What’s your job? Don’t have one currently, a little too busy with uni and my mental health. Before that I worked in a covid testing place. And I volunteer as an EMT at the Red Cross. That’s the closest answer I can give

If you could go back to school, would you? Primary school: yes. Secondary school: some phases yes, overall no (I mostly miss my German teacher). And uni I’m currently doing, so yeah.

Can you parallel park? I’m not the best, but generally yes. Also, my car is quite small, so that makes it easier I suppose

Do you think aliens are real? I don’t really think about it tbh, but purely statistically, they have to be in some way, shape or form, right?

Can you drive a manual car? Yes. And a manual motorbike as well 😌

Guilty pleasure? True crime shows or podcasts. And rewatching old Let’s Plays, but I haven’t done that in a while

Favourite colour? Really depends. Generally, I like blues and purples, sometimes a nice sunflower yellow, but with clothes for example you’ll rarely see me in something that’s not either black, grey, or navy.

Do you like puzzles? Yeah, but like everything I usually do them in bursts, so I’ll spend every evening working on it for a week and then abandon it for months.

Favourite childhood sport? I loved ballet and did gymnastics for years. And I went horse riding religiously for most of my childhood, I absolutely loved it. But unfortunately, I’m pretty much deathly allergic to horses and will almost instantly get breathing problems.

Do you talk to yourself? Yes, constantly and in three languages. Especially in the car

Tea or coffee? Tea, all the way. Herbal and black tea or some chai blend, most of the time with milk. I absolutely detest coffee; it makes me nauseous.

First thing you wanted to be when growing up? Either a veterinarian or a horse-riding instructor, I can’t remember which one came first

What movies do you adore? My favourite as a child was Mamma Mia and it’s still a comfort film for me. I loved Call Me By Your Name for the cinematography, the score and the general vibes. For similar reasons I also adored Arrival, I’ve watched that a good few times by now too. Also, the storyline is genius. For a feel-good film I really like Ocean’s 8, something about it is just really satisfying to me and the fact that there’s so many amazing women in that film is even better. And my go-to film when I need a cry is and probably always will be The Notebook.

i have two (like ericka!) both on my right arm. one's inspired by my favorite place, porto selvaggio in puglia (southern italy) and i love it sooooo much i think it's so pretty (and i get compliments about it pretty regularly which is impressive bc it's not Super easy to see but it catches people's attention who want to see it better). the other's a person painting 3 stars with the lyrics "cambia le tue stelle" underneath. i'd like to get more, but same issues as ericka (what to get?? they're fucking expensive) BUT i'm thinking of like getting an addition to the stars tattoo bc basically the 3 stars represent 2 people + 1 pet who passed away that i love very much and now that my sweet little cat ripy is gone too it feels right to get something for him as well. but i have to decide stuff and i'm super bad at decisions lately :^)

YES I do want my body to be very decorated so I do consider what I'd get a lot but realistically... I probably won't get any lol I'm too scared but anyway! MHM I have a few, I had my ears pierced as a baby but I don't count that one bc lobe earrings give me sensory issues so I never wear them. but I do have a nose ring on my left nostril and 2 more on the top of my left ear (I was going to have three on my ear, but realized with the nose ring, that'd mean 4 piercings! and that's an Unlucky Number and my ocd ass (literal, not hyperbole dont worry im not one of those ppl) had to make the decision of "either bring it up to five by getting an eyebrow one or cancel the third one" so I just canceled the third one bc i dont really want any more)

oh,definitely thought I had was the smut was too fast but I had used up almost all of the song at that point because there isn’t a lot of meat and potatoes on the song but I had really wanted to use it and on top of that, I normally have a clearer sense of direction but had no idea how to even lead up to the smut so I just put it in there

the entire thing was actually supposed to be longer?? but I had sat there thinking and typing for 8 hours and I was ready to be done. like you were going to lay there hearing the crunching as Ethan breaks more of the guy’s bones, and he only stops because you realize you’re bleeding and grab him with your bloody hand. Figured it was too much for the read and also there was supposed to be more scenes of just like the two of them and their dynamic but it was hard to line up

Parts of the stalking were meant to drag out more, but I’m glad the tension was written alright enough for the scenes it had, I was worried I didn’t get the point across

okay on to the lines

I’m shocked a lot of people liked the Angel line, I feel like when it comes to first looks from the male protagonists, I don’t write them that well, so that was a pleasant surprise

the dad bit came from something my dad does (he always calls it “planning, planning something” “urban planning” “yes that’s it)

The runt line was a surprising hit!! Lefty was a complete throwaway character but I do have Lefty lore I wrote specifically for this shot (he’s known you since you were five and he looks like Nick Offerman just with an Scottish accent)

“YOU FUCKED UP BY LIKING ME” BIT WAS MY FAVORITE LINE TO WRITE IN A FIC EVER (along with “wait, where do you have a tattoo?”)

#9 -- Makeup ?

"Siegrain" might have worn some light makeup back in his days as a councilman. Something of the "natural" type ? Mostly foundation, mayyyybe the eyebrows... eyeshadow for grand occasions. Subtle, but enough to have gotten less than savory bigoted comments about it LMFAO. Ultear would do it for him, or taught him at the very least.

Also, he wears/wore kohl ! I found this post a while ago and I really love the idea ( especially bc I also hc Jellal with Arab heritage <3 ) . Timeline-wise, I think he would have given up on it during the 7 yrs timeskip, before picking it back up around Alvarez.

―― in a completely different trail of thought : he always, always has concealer on-hand ( in his pocket requip space ) because the cerulean hair + face tattoo combo makes him an incredibly recognizable individual. Tricky undercover missions may require something a bit more complicated, but for simple errands, concealer is more than enough ! ( although he's def not the first pick. )

#10 ― Neuroses ? Do they recognize them as such ? ( I had to do a bit of research for this so let's hope this is accurate )

He is HEAVILY depressed ( PDD / Dysthymia ) and also has PTSD. He is aware of it, to an extent : I figure this is the kind of thing he may have read about during his council days ( he used to spend a lot of time in the Magic Council library ) or acquired through conversations ( again, council cases ) but most of his knowledge is very superficial. And in the case where he might not be able to put a name on it . . . he, for sure, knows that this is Not Normal. LOL He could, however, argue that this is normal for a man riddled with guilt, with blood on his hands, etc etc. ALSO he's probably not very keen on improving his mental health beyond the bare minimum ( aka what he needs to function so that he can focus on his mission of atonement ). Which ― this is getting long and it could get longer I could and will write an essay on the mental health of that man ― ANYWAY it's better than it used to be ; it was a very dark time for him during the timeskip.

One thing's for sure ― he needs help, more than he realizes. Professional help ! GET THIS MAN A THERAPIST !

Jellal doesn't really have favorites of anything. Never really took the time to figure that out. I'd say he drinks WATER more than anything else, and TEA when it's available to him. He will also take that hot chocolate in winter whenever Crime Sorcière can get their hands on it. Also throwing a random idea in the air, but CS may also have discovered meal-subtitute drinks. I'm sure that'd be a nice thing for fugitives to rely on ― ( although it will get less accomodating pricier when their numbers go from 3 to 7-8 )

#20 ― Turn-ons? Turn-offs ?

Uhhhh like, socially ? Let's do that. I admittedly haven't thought too much about what he likes or dislikes seeing from people. He's not very sociable and doesn't really try to forge connections, for safety/priority reasons but also because he doesn't think he's allowed Nice Things.

I suppose... he admires psychological/emotional strength, bravery, the mentality of never giving up even when the odds are against you. He draws a lot of inspiration from that. ( I think he really likes the values that the Fairy Tail guild put forward, despite the chaos and destruction its members can leave in their wake. In another life, he would have loved to call it 'home'. ) Jellal also likes wisdom and thirst for knowledge. He would very much enjoy having conversations with the likes of Levy and Lucy, both bookworms. He is also very fascinated by magic. && He finds forgiveness to be very admirable. Crime Sorcière would not exist without the kindness and the willingness of those who'd looked past their blood-stained pasts, saw the humanity, and decided that there was potential for redemption. It is something he's very thankful for ― even if he may struggle with feeling worthy of that.

When it comes to turn-offs... Jellal would have a hard time with personalities or attitudes that reminds him too much of his abhorred self of times past.

Also, as much as he believes in extending a hand to the broken and offer others the chance to redemption, he will only do so to the people open to the idea. Absence of guilt, refusal to feel it, unwillingness to change and any kind of stubbornness along that line will be a deal-breaker. He will advocate for his cause, but he will not beg for anyone to join him ( freedom of choice is very important to him ).

He's not a fan of 'turning to religion to avoid consequences/feelings of guilt' && INTENSE WORSHIP makes him very uncomfortable.

AND, not a turn-off per say, but I also think he pays a lot of attention to body language when interacting/existing with people. If he senses any kind of reservation / distaste / ( passive- ) agressivity and the likes of unreceptiveness, he will keep interactions with that person to a minimum. ( basically, he'll match receptiveness ? ) ――― any kind of bond with such personalities is much, much more likely to develop through necessity ( even if it's not against him & just general behavior/temperament ). He just... doesn't like to be a bother.
