So yeah, while checking out Pokemon Scarlett and Violet, I found out about Rika and Larry, who are like the characters of all time. Instant favs. Handsome lady and tired employee best archetypes frfr. Then I found the aochiri tag.

I'll be honest, Larry did it at first since he feels he should pick up the pace in Rika's place (he IS the reason she's on maternity leave), but Geeta banned him after he unintentionally caused a few of the interviewees to cry. (his monotone put them on edge, when combined with the fact that they failed their interview - OOPS)

(add the fact that more than one of them have bad experiences with his Gym, because he genuinely kicked their asses lol - shout out to the fact that he gave me trouble and them proceeded to scare the shit out of me when I went to the league and went "LARRY???")

So Hassel took over, since everyone's familiar with him as a teacher, he's got this goofy side to him and more often than not, everyone is worried about making HIM cry, so that takes the edge off of everything..

And yes, he wears the glasses.

And when Rika comes back, there she is, with her glasses again, and the baby in a baby carrier on her torso. Kinda also wearing a pair of smaller glasses lmao (they too, are also fake glasses).

Imagine: baby poppy with her pacifier in her mouth, just staring into your soul as you leave yourself at the absolute mercy of Rika's interview.

The alternative is Larry with Poppy, who keeps stealing food from him and he's just "This one isn't yours, here" and also "give me a moment, the little one wants to pet my Altaria."

At least one time, did Rika and Larry lose Poppy (in the Family of Three AU), and they're looking EVERYWHERE for her, but Hassel just, "Have you checked your Altaria?"

And there she is, snuggled up inside that floof, with a few of the other bords.

(Hassel is always on and off with babysitting, mostly because of how easily emotional he gets. He's just so HAPPY GOD DAMN)

(Geeta sometimes takes over, though not everyone manages to get to her, so they don't often see her with the baby...but Larry does have pictures lmao)

so with the 7oCr as the first card ive pulled, start of 2023 could have really made jay overwhelmed. he might have had a phase where it was confusing for the most part and he couldnt choose between many options as he’ve seen really contemplating about it. making choices became as not as great for him as at the same time that theres opportunities for him, the latter feels the opposite. does anyone get it? like, he feels that there is one, but at the same time he doesnt. he might’ve think that the opportunities given are repetitive, possibly. regardless, having overwhelmed emotions might’ve made jay’s vision blurry down the near lane as there was opportunities given, he just felt like there was none. or atleast it didnt feel quite right.

and for AoCr, this really adds up to what ive said earlier :) its possible that this is still going on for the most part for jay. he still feels blocked. he feels this emotion where he cant seem to give his all, and his creativity is running out. its rare for any of enha members to feel unmotivated when it comes to their career, but jay might. this reading feels personal than reading for his career tbh. i see it as jay’s really unconsciously focusing to his self if anyone see it that way. AoCr can be interpreted in two ways; it could be that jay is overwhelming hes trying to supress for now, or is that hes pouring out he becomes overwhelmed (metaphorically). im leaning more towards the first. there would be opportunities, but i think these opportunities are not really what hes looking for.

and lastly the star, this is really great as this is a major arcana. end of the year he might feel hope again. the star tackles about renewal and purpose. i guess he will suceed with learning by the end of 2023. as you can see in the card itself, you could see a women pouring a water out of a cup, this might mean he has overcome what he felt through with 7oCr and AoCr. end of 2023 might be the start of where the positivity comes. where opportunities of what hes truly looking for comes.

so from what ive learnt, jay’s career for 2023 will be about himself trying to figure out things for his career; trying to find holes and ways through the unknown. having blocks in between, but successfully walking through it. i think 2023 might be the start of where he will try to walk out of the zone of what hes used to. trying to pour out his cup for new beginnings and not having someone to back him up anymore even despite.
