Besides, drunk Soap made poor short term decisions, and you and him had too much of a goddamn history with those. It was starting to be a habit that needed to be kicked, sharply and in the face, for both of yours sakes. You clumsily reach around Soap, who’s close to just lounging on your lap the inconsiderate lout, to set your glass down on the counter. You mean to tell him about how this looks for the both of you, to launch into a very reasonable explanation about how this is really crossing some boundaries and that instead of Soap perched half on your lap and staring at your mouth, you could go engage in some friendlier guy on guy activities.

Half of me wants to write about the miscommunication that Walter Bob naturally has, about he learning that he can do whatever he wants when he wants. Of him learning that the islanders lives aren't as good as it seems and what they have to lose. Of him getting slowly getting attached to the eggs because before he only saw the fed treating them as experiments but here they are family. Of the sheer terror of when he seems an egg being too mischievous or failing at something and thinks that the others are going to kill the egg for being imperfect.

Of Pac and Mike getting stressed out because one day they wake up and Walter Bob isn't there and they search for the entire island until they see him enjoying the beach and they complain about the scare to him but Walter Bob simply did not know that this is a problem. The guards, his boss, the Federation always knew where he was all the time.

Of Walter Bob wanting to know where is his family is and slowly letting the others help him on his research.
