i absolutely understand being sad about response to fic, like no comments etc is always a bummer but having fic in extremely small fandoms and even creating (!!!) fandoms on ao3 makes me appreciate things like kudos even more bc every time I get a kudos from a fic from a fandom that has less than 100 works I am like WOW someone read this??? and wanted to leave a kudos????
