Hello again :)

For the colour palette challenge: Stella Maris and Xanatos.

Also here is Xanatos' introduction scene in the Jedi Apprentice books, he shows up late to the meeting, without starbucks and he's definitely up to something. Placing it here as it is some delightful imagery esp with Xanatos's swooshy blue cape and hair, and I thought you may enjoy it, as well if it sparks with the drawing!

i can't find another place that offers the same position while also being close to home :/ i live in a very rural area so public transport is already pretty shitty here ngl. and i couldn't even move away if i wanted to so that's not an option either

Stella heard there was a place further away from the bustling streets of Gotham and its chaos. Rarely anyone would go there and visit. There were only a few townspeople, even jobs for girls. That place is called "永眠町" in Japanese, or "Eversleeping Town" in English.

That place is famous for women wearing traditional costumes that entertain guests. Perhaps the girl Stella met before lives there.

“ok what the fuck” Stella stared at the place.

“Is this a dimensional rift, or is my mind just fucking with me cuz why is this here. Aren’t they from Japan? What the fuck? What are they doing in Gotham!” Stella screamed in her mind. Yup. It was definitely messing with her.

But whatever. Her friend had noticed she had a lot of tension wound up in her and so much stress on her shoulders so much so that her freaking manager from her minimum wage coffee shop job gave her leave. Anyway what the hell, Stella was already in her civilian outfit. She should go enjoy herself anyway.

Class Swap AU

where everybody changes their original designation and becomes a different class!

Aisha, Tecna, Flora and Stella are a specialist team.

Aisha is the team leader. She doesn’t want to be — tends to overthink her decisions in the field and is two bad days away from developing a stress ulcer at all times — but needs must, as they say. Codatorta thinks it will prepare her nicely for her future as Andros’ Queen. Aisha mostly thinks about running away to become a forest hermit.

Stella didn’t want to be a specialist at all. Alas, she hadn’t shown a natural inclination towards magic growing up, nor did she try to compensate for it by studying harder. This meant that she couldn’t become a strong fairy or witch. As a compromise, her parents sent her off to the Red Fountain — a very prestigious school where she could earn a fancy title and rub hands with fellow royal heirs & heiresses.

Flora is not a violent person by nature and hates having to resort to fighting. She enrolled in RF because of all of the humanitarian missions the specialists go on: evacuating people in danger, assisting during natural disasters, helping those who were wronged or cursed.

Tecna likes fighting and that’s partly why she enrolled. The adrenaline, the risks, the precarious balance between strategy and improvisation that could turn the tide of battle at any moment. At the end of the day, being a specialist — the team’s brains no less — is all about problem-solving creatively and Tecna loves that.

Bloom is an artificer and master Hagen’s (Faragonda’s) apprentice.

In this AU, Daphne did not pass down her dragon spark to Bloom but hid it in some dark corner of the universe instead. Daphne’s last deed is portaling Bloom to her godfather’s doorstep, the Famed Blacksmith master Hagen. He raises her as his ward and teaches her to craft magical weapons. Bloom grows up knowing who she is and who her family was.

Hagen finally allows Bloom to leave their castle at the age of sixteen, to apprentice under Faragonda’s tutelage and protection.

Sky and Brandon are fairies.

Brandon became a fae because Sky did. He always wanted to be a knight, but once he knew Sky was serious about becoming a fae - Brandon reasoned that the only way he could follow his friend to Alfea was to pursue magic as well.

Musa, Riven and Timmy are a witch coven.

I have no justification for it other than it just feels right. Just three buddies who everybody assumes hate each other because they trade insults as easily as breathing!!! But they don’t!!! They’re just emotionally repressed assholes who barely like anyone other than each other, and have a funny way of showing it.

They probably have matching jackets with their coven insignia or something equally dorky as that.

Nabu is a specialist with no magical powers.

The little lordling learns of his arranged marriage earlier than Aisha does and runs away from home, intent on seeing for himself what kind of girl Aisha is. Lucky for him, there is an open spot on the specialist team where Aisha is the leader! A lot of pining ensues.

Helia is a wizard.

He studies directly under Saladin. Helia has his own teachers and trains separately from the rest of RF, for the most part. He is Saladin’s chosen heir; has been groomed to take over his grandfather’s seat in the Company of Light for years now.

He is also — kind of miserable. It’s not the kind of life Helia wants for himself. But he also loves Saladin and would do anything to make him happy. So wizard it is! For now, at least.

The Trix are fairies who believe that they deserve to be the next guardians of the Dragon Flame.

Alfea Overview v2

i drew out a layout for Alfea i will use for specifications of my overview. did i make alfea a smidge taller? Yes but oh well, anyway lets begin.

The Alfea College for Fairies is a girls' boarding school in Magix for Fairies and the oldest (established 9000 years before the start of the story) and most prestigious educational institution for fairies. 

The education in Alfea lasts 3 years, one for each Fairy Form in the journey of an aspiring full-fledged fairy. Base form, Charmix, Enchantix.

The Alfea students are mostly in training ages 16-18 (unless they have been held back a grade like Stella, so in her case, 17). Fairies here learn how to control their power, fight evil, learn new spells as well as learn how to be their realms' queens and guardian fairies. In this way, Alfea is a little like a military boarding school for the elites.

In the Past

The Alfea Champions were an ancient trio of legendary fairies who were believed to be the most powerful fairies in all of Alfea History. Their feats have been known to be passed down through generations, immortalised in statues that stand in the Alfea Museum, and had been recorded in Legendarium. Ress of the Flame, Chevonne of the Water and Farcelia of the Wind. They were real fairies, but it has been so long that their legends outlived their actual story of their lives.

When Mavilla was headmistress of Alfea, owning and exhibiting the strengths of one's Fairy Animal was considered a vital part of a fairy education. Everything taught was a reflection of the contents of the Tome of Nature. Eventually, Mavilla changed this. 

Alfea used to have a crest which was a curved golden "A" on a purple and blue flower with a golden outline at the top of the school gates, just above Alfea's gate. The "A" of the crest is also seen on what used to be the school's uniform, consisting of a burgundy long-sleeved and knee-length dress and mary janes. The neck part of the dress has white lace and a dark burgundy loop.

At another point in time, Eldora was the keeper of the Alfea Greenhouse and taught floral magic.

School years

First Year

Freshmen fairies learn how to master their own source of power, as well as their base fairy form, and learn basic spells they can use in their daily life and in battle if necessary. Metamorphosymbiosis, Potionology and Survival Training are part of the first year curriculum. Fairies also learn how to explore diverse environments in the Simulation Room as part of their survival training. 

Second Year

Second Year fairies have the goal of earning Charmix. Their classes include, magic invocation, magic self-defence, applied convergence and cognitive analysis class, where fairies learn technical incantations, and spells requiring accurate pronunciation.

Third Year

Third Year Classes include, History of Magic, and those who achieve Enchantix will participate in Battle training to hone their skills. The fairies also have a final thesis, also earning Enchantix is more like an extra credit thing.

Graduation

After earning Enchantix, the basic fairy education is completed and they will graduate with Honours and receive the titles of Guardian Fairies of their respective homeworlds on the Day of the Gift. Without Enchantix, the girls still graduate, but they don't become guardian fairies. In this case, they return to their home world and can decide if they want to work towards being a guardian fairy by being an apprentice to one until they earn their Enchantix, or they can do something else. Alumni can also decide to extend their studies and do their masters here at Alfea in any Subject already offered, being mentored by any of the current staff

Winx After Graduation

They taught for a short period of time, before choosing to take their masters here in various subjects in addition to being substitute teachers from time to time.

Architecture and Layout

Outside

The Alfea Natural Park, which is a refuge for Fairy Animals, is found in the forest. It is unknown if parts of the forest close to the school belong to the school or not, but they are also used for classes and tests.

There is a bus stop where students, guests, and staff members can take buses from and to Magix City and to other places in Magix.

Protective barriers meant to keep non-magical creatures, non-fairies, and bad weather out are seen many times in the series.

The School Gates are the only access to the school compound. They consist of a large pink archway with two wing-like doors that move to open or close the gates.

Its campus is a large castle with pink walls and blue roofs built around a courtyard.

Ground / First Floor

Most of the Classrooms are found on the ground floor around the central courtyard. The side buildings have corridors through which the classrooms can be accessed and it has stairways from which the upper parts of the school can be accessed.

Namely: On the East Wing, Applied Convergence Classroom, Technical Incantations Classroom, Magic Invocation Classroom, Magic Defence Classroom, and on the West Wing, Potionology Classroom, Metamorphosymbiosis Classroom, and the Survival Training Classroom. Each classroom also acts as storage for whatever items the subject requires.

The School Kitchen, where Chef Sfoglia works, Students may also be assigned to do the cooking as chores or as punishment. Located in the West Wing

In the North Wing, The Entrance Hall is a large room found opposite the School Gates, and it is accessed by a set of grand stairs.

The Cafeteria / School Hall is a large room found on the ground floor. It has a large dome of glass as its outer wall and there are long tables where the students have their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a special tier for staff members. Parties and balls are often held there and during such occasions, the tables are removed to make a place for the festivities. It is found below the Headmistress' Office and behind the Entrance Hall, in the North Wing.

The West Wing also contains The School Infirmary where students are treated in case of health problems and injuries. It is composed of an office and a resting room with many beds. It is managed by Nurse Ofelia and her assistant.

The West Tower is where the Magic Archive of Alfea is found. Precious and rare books and scrolls about many things can be found there and the school's Codex used to be kept there. A Pixie, named Concorda, is the keeper of the Secret Archives.

The first floor of the east tower contains the Applied convergence Classroom which also acts as the School Amphitheater for formal gatherings required by the Headmistress or otherwise. the students sometimes attend the school assembly and it is also where general meetings are often held, especially in crisis times. There is a table with chairs around it where staff members sit. Exams may also be held there.

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the centre of the school. It contains:

Benches where students can sit and spend their free time. The Well, with underground tunnels that connects Alfea to the other magical schools, and contains various rooms and obstacles to go through in order to obtain the Star of Teamwork. It functions as a gathering area for celebrations such as the beginning of the year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for Red Fountain ships.

Around the sides are the Gardens of Alfea. A place where students can relax and study and even practice their abilities with the accompaniment of nature.

And around the back is an open space mainly used for classes with a practical component.

Second Floor

The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.

The North wing’s first floor’s ceiling is very high, taking up 2 floors, and therefore technically there is nothing here.

The Simulation Room is where virtual simulations take place. It can also be used to teleport people to other locations. Professor Palladium is the one who is in charge of the Simulation Chamber.

There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)

Third Floor

The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.

The History of Magic Classroom in the East Wing Tower

And in the North Wing, the staff and Faragonda’s offices. Outside of which there is a small seating area.

There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)

Fourth Floor

The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.

The Dance Studio/Gym in the East Wing Tower.

In the North wing, Faragonda and the Staff Quarters. Only accessible via the offices.

There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)

Fifth Floor

Only contains the Viewing Decks atop the two Towers of Alfea. Only accessible by Flight or Teleportation.

Basement

The basement of Alfea is sprawling. It contains what will become Musa’s Music Cafe, the Alfea Museum, the Hall of Memories (formerly: Fairy Animals), the magical Entrance to the Alfea Greenhouse, the Library (containing the Research Lectern with Miss Barbetea as its Librarian) with its Restricted Section, and finally the Hall of Enchantments (It contains the hall of infamy, where the portraits of all the enemies of the Magic Dimension can be found, the entire history of the magical universe and contains the Heart of Alfea), only accessible through the Headmistress’s Office.

The rest of the images here include a Key, a Compass and a small sketch i did to plan out how many floors Alfea actually has.

Dorm Assignments

The students use all three levels of the student dorms. And where they go rotate every three years. So if you joined the school and are assigned to the second floor dorms, you stay there until u graduate then the freshmen after you will take over it.

Once again all dorms are enchanted to be bigger than they seem.

When the winx become teachers, they will insist on sharing a dorm, the North Wing, West (right) dorm.

The non teaching staff usually have a built in dorm at wherever they are working, so Miss Barbetea has a room in the library, and Nurse Ofelia and her assistant share a room in the infirmary and so on. Their rooms are also enchanted so they are bigger on the inside.

Seeing Callum with wings always reminds me of Krabat, a Sorbian (Slavic ethnic minority in Germany) fairytale (based on a real guy from the 17th century), which was later the base for a famous German children's book.

In the story, teenage boy Krabat becomes the apprentice of a dark mage (!!!), and learns how to shapeshift and fly, among other things. But he gradually realises that he's a prisoner and will be killed by the dark mage eventually. Luckily his secret girlfriend saves him (!!!) , by demanding his freedom and passing a test (having to recognise him among the other apprentices while they are ravens).

I know it's unlikely the writers of Tdp know this story, but I find the parallels quite striking.>_> Especially since it looks like Rayla will have to save him from dark magic in s7.❤️

Also, the girl's name is Kantorka, which means "singer", and she is a singer. We've seen Rayla in s6 first soothe Stella with her lullaby and then Esmeray. It's not far-fetched to think that she might be able to reach Callum's "lost soul" in that way too.

Here’s her lore! I personally saw how sad her story was before Viv decided to crap on it with the whole “UwU Stolas did nothing wrong and Stella was a big meanie oh noooo! :(“ thing. She had so much potential to be a tragic character but NOOOOO….

The Andromeda family was a relatively well-known group of bird-like creatures known throughout the purgatory Underworld. They say that these birds hatched from eggs that fell from meteor showers…

And Stella’s was the brightest of all, having fallen during a meteor shower that took place during a pink moon.

The young Stella, while ambitious and focused on her studies of the stars, was incredibly quiet and introverted, and her sensitive and kind nature brought concern to her family, especially her older brother Andrealphus. One day, her family pulled the adolescent swan aside to inform her that she had been arranged to marry the Goetia prince Stolss in about 5 years. She protested greatly, but was told to stop, as she will be considered nothing but a machine to pump out an heir and the accessory of a lavishing, well-endowed prince.

Afraid of what could happen if she said no, Stella complied, and married Stolas at the age of 18. 3 years later, the pair finally managed to have an egg hatch under a lunar eclipse; Octavia Goetia. Despite her circumstances, Stella genuinely loved and cared for her child, teaching her about the stars whenever Stolas would go off to predict the sky’s events for the Underworld. While she was content being a mother for the most part, she couldn’t say the same about being a wife to Stolas. She felt incredibly uneasy around him, as he would give her condescending remarks on her passion for the constellations and… honestly not be at home all the time. Prediction affairs, he said, we’re keeping him busy.

Stella’s reality shattered when she found out Stolas (very loudly) had an affair during their anniversary party. Heartbroken, Stella confronted the owlish prince, but was met with a rather different response; he started claiming that HE did everything to make sure they had a relatively stable life, that HE took care of Octavia’s teachings, that HE has everything under control. Stella grew angrier, trying to snap Stolas back to reality when—

She realized this wasn’t reality. It was all him.

She broke out of her daze and ran away with Octavia, which Stolas took awfully and claimed that the witch stole away his daughter. She was living with her brother for weeks on end before finding out about a demonologist who also discovered the truth. And so, Stella set out to take her in as an apprentice of sorts, helping her prepare to confront her former lover against all odds. And along the way, perhaps Stella could grow a thicker skin and learn to assert herself against Stolas, even if it meant being seen as a treacherous witch in his eyes.

And that’s pretty much it! I honestly wish she got more depth beyond being Stolas’s mean ex wife who gets in the way of Stolitz.

so AJ is short for something different in the au, and Rarity seems to be implied to be a stage name/chosen name rather than her legal name- what about the others? do they have changed names as well

Yeah, so for folks who didn't see the post with the character blurbs here, AJ's full name is April-Jacqueline Applegate (April-Jacqueline – April-Jac – Applejack). Rarity is just a pseudonym/alias. Her parents are immigrants from Shanghai, so her real name (which very few people in Ponyville actually know) is Chinese. She changed it because it was too difficult for non-Chinese people to pronounce and to reinvent herself when traveling abroad in Europe to apprentice under fashion designers.

The others, I'm genuinely not sure. I'll probably give them normal names and leave their horse names as nicknames? Some sound more realistic as nicknames than others, like Dashie or Pinkie. I know Tulli and I are coming up with real names for Starlight and Trixie. Starlight's real name is Stella Luciani (literally 'Star' 'Light', and a reference to the jazz song/film theme "Stella by Starlight").

Stolas human redesign illustration (I gave him a beard) and some sketches of him and his children

Lord Andras, marquise of Wrath (below) is Stolas’ daughter with Shax. Her design is inspired by sooty owl for its eerie look. She’s the second demon who held the marquisate after OG Andras was killed by exterminators. OG Andras didn’t bear any heirs but King Paimon/Asmodeus decided to pass the title to Stolas’ daughter due to the resemblance of OG Andras. In Ars Goetia, Andras is depicted for having a head of an owl and a body of an angel. She was often accompanied by a wolf, who is her Hellhound bodyguard and secretary in this rewrite.

Andrealphus is Stolas’ adopted son and apprentice/mentee. He was adopted by Stolas after his biological father was killed by exterminators (demons disguised as angels). He taught Andre about astronomy but he excelled in geometry and measurements. Like Stolas, he was stationed in lust for his lust of knowledge. His design is inspired by punk and goth. He takes Octavia’s role as Stolas’ child, but not to confuse with canon Andrealphus, who is Stella’s brother.

I've mentioned it before but I'm an absolute sucker for "former lovers, separated for years or decades, reunite and slowly, awkwardly rekindle their romance while navigating past hurts and new dynamics". oddly specific trope, i know. but I'd love to properly write it one day

28. Share three of your favourite fic writers and why you like them so much. @rangerangel has written some super banger stuff and has awesome ideas for future fics. I'll wait as long as I have to to read them. His ideas are engaging, he really cares a lot about detail and he gets me to empathise emotionally with his characters really well @stella-lesair writes such a diverse range of fics there's sure to be something for everyone. In particular, "The Flying Rangers", a How to Train your Dragon/Ranger's Apprentice crossover, is super cool @artsysurvivor has another autistic!halt fic (Part of the Other Crowd) and I'm so happy to see more autistic!halt content, as well as seeing other takes on the headcanon

Hero Form Appearance: A combination of a heroic dragon knight’s gear and YuYuYu’s Hero Form outfits. The undersuit of the outfit is a solid jet black so the crimson of the wild rose can stand out- and the main outfit is indeed a solid crimson throughout, but as you make your way towards the lower half of the sleeves, the lower half of the pants, and the tailcoat, it shifts from orange and then to yellow. The accent colors include black, white, gray, gold, silver, blue, violet, and normal red. Meanwhile, the boots, gloves, and belt all have patterns of wild roses on them, and Stella’s hair ribbons now look like the petals of wild roses- but yellow. The flower’s petal shape can be seen in the collar, sleeves, and tailcoat.

Stella was patrolling the streets when she spots a Chintz in front of her, the Chintz was carrying a kago bag with both hands, and holding the hem of her kimono to avoid getting dirty. She looked adorable, two goldfish swim around her as a cherry on top.

Alfea overview

The Alfea College for Fairies is a girls' boarding school in Magix for Fairies and the oldest (established 9000 years bef the start of the story) and most prestigious educational institution for fairies. 

The education in Alfea lasts 3 years, one for each Fairy Form in the journey of an aspiring full-fledged fairy.

The Alfea students are mostly in training ages 16-18 (unless they have been held back a grade like Stella, so in her case, 17). Fairies here learn how to control their power, fight evil, learn new spells as well as learn how to be their realms' queens and guardian fairies. In this way, alphea is a little like a boarding school for the elites.

In the Past

The Alfea Champions were an ancient trio of legendary fairies who were believed to be the most powerful fairies in all of Alphea History. Their feats have been known to be passed down through generations, immortalised in statues that stand in the Alphea Archives, and had been recorded in Legendarium. Ress of the Flame, Chevonne of the Water and Farcelia of the Wind. According to Daphne, they are the strongest fairies in Alphea history. However, if other fairies are bonded with pixies, they could overpower the Champions of Alfea as they refused the bondings of the pixies as they were very prideful.

When Mavilla was headmistress of Alfea, owning and exhibiting the strengths of one's Fairy Animal was considered a vital part of a fairy education. Everything taught was a reflection of the contents of the Tome of Nature. Eventually, Mavilla realised that was wrong and the curriculum prohibited the animals from living freely. 

Alfea also used to have a crest which was a curved golden "A" on a purple and blue flower with a golden outline at the top of the school gates, just above Alfea's gate. The "A" of the crest is also seen on what used to be the school's uniform, consisting of a burgundy long-sleeved and knee-length dress and mary janes. The neck part of the dress has white lace and a dark burgundy loop.

At another point in time, Eldora was the keeper of the Alfea Greenhouse and taught floral magic.

School years

First Year

Freshmen fairies learn how to master their own source of power, as well as their first fairy form, and learn many basic spells they can use in their daily life as well as spells cast spontaneously and on instinct. metamorphosis, Potionology and training exercises are part of the curriculum. Fairies also learn how to explore diverse environments in the Simulation Room. 

Second Year

In their cognitive analysis class, fairies learn technical incantations, and spells requiring accurate pronunciation. Other classes include magic invocation, magic self-defense, and applied convergence. They also have the goal of earning Charmix, a power-up that will temporarily boost their magic.

Third Year

Additional classes include History of Magic, and Cosmomagic. After spring break, fairies are tasked with their final exam, and earning Enchantix is more like an extra credit thing, the Final Fairy Form in a fairy's formal educational journey to become a full-fledged fairy. Those who achieve Enchantix will participate in training exercises to hone their abilities.

Graduation

After earning Enchantix, the basic fairy education is completed and they will graduate with honours and receive the titles of Guardian Fairies of their respective homeworlds on the Day of the Gift. Without Enchantix, the girls still graduate, but they don't become guardian fairies. In this case, they return to their home world and can decide if they want to work towards being a guardian fairy by being an apprentice to one until they earn their Enchantix, or they can do something else.

Winx After Graduation

the Winx, taught for a short period of time, before choosing to take their masters here in various subjects in addition to being substitute teachers from time to time.

Architecture, rooms, security

The Alfea Natural Park, which is a refuge for Fairy Animals, is found in the forest. (opens in season 7) It is unknown if these parts of the forest belong to the school or not, but they are also used by the scool for classes and tests.

There is a bus stop where students, guests, and staff members can take buses from and to Magix City and to other places in Magix.

The non-forested area around the castle is used by the students to spend their time or for classes which can be used for tests, exams, and training.

Protective barriers meant to keep non-magical creatures, non-fairies, and bad weather out are seen many times in the series. Their power source is magic.

The School Gates are the only access to the school compound. They consist of a large pink archway with two wing-like doors that move to open or close the gates. By the time the Winx had joined Alfea, the crest had been removed and replaced with an orb of the same colour as the school walls

Its campus is a large castle with pink walls and blue roofs built around a courtyard.

Ground Floor

The Classrooms are found on the ground floor around the central courtyard, including, Potions Laboratory. The School Kitchen, where Chef Sfoglia works, Students may also be assigned to do the cooking as chores or as punishment. The Entrance Hall is a large room found opposite the School Gates, and it is accessed by a set of stairs. The Entrance hall opens into corridors through which the classrooms can be accessed and it has a stairway from which the upper parts of the school can be accessed. The School Hall is a large room found on the ground floor. It has a large dome of glass as its outer wall and there are long tables where the students have their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a special tier for staff members. Parties and balls are often held there and during such occasions, the tables are removed to make a place for the festivities. It is found below the Headmistress' Office and behind the Entrance Hall. The School Hospital is where students are treated in case of health problems and injuries. It is composed of an office and a resting room with many beds. It is managed by Nurse Ofelia and her assistant.

other rooms include: The School Museum, The Greenhouse. The Music Cafe, Alfea Gym and dance studio, the library (It has its own magical research system, the Research Lectern. Miss Barbatea is the Libraria), and the Hall of Enchantments a secret part of Alfea that only the staff of Alfea can access. It contains: the hall of infamy, where the portraits of all the enemies of the Magic Dimension can be found, the entire history of the magical universe and the heart of alphea.

There is also an Aviary in Alfea that can be accessed by magical means since it is larger than the school building. It is similar to a giant open-air garden where giant flowers and giant birds, such as the Giant Eagles, can be found. Although only magic can open the aviary, the people inside it cannot use magic spells.

There are two towers in Alfea, both have viewing areas.

The West Tower is where the Magic Archive of Alfea is found. Precious and rare books about many things can be found there and the school's Codex used to be kept there. A Pixie, named Concorda, is the keeper of the Secret Archives. (contains many books and scrolls written by ancient and powerful sorcerers)

The east tower contains the hall of memories. the hall of memories (Fairies can use their powers to relive the past and reveal Time's secrets), formerly known as the Hall of Fairy Animals

Second Floor

The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). The Staff Quarters. There are balconies adjoined to the student dormitories and the staff quarters.

The Headmistress's Office is where the Headmistress of Alfea does the formal work of the school and where she attends official visitors. the teacher's offices are here too.

The Simulation Room is where virtual simulations take place. It can also be used to teleport people to other locations. Professor Palladium is the one who is in charge of the Simulation Chamber.

The School Amphitheater is where the students sometimes attend the school assembly and where general meetings are often held, especially in crisis times. Students may also take part in activities such as dance practice and rehearsing there. There is a table with chairs around it where staff members sit. Exams may also be held there.

Others

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the centre of the school, which is built around the school. It contains:

Benches where students can sit and spend their free time.

A Well, with underground tunnels that connects Alfea to the other magical schools and which were used in ancient times if the schools were attacked. it is also revealed that the well now contains various rooms and obstacles to go through in order to obtain the Star of Teamwork.

A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of the year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for Red Fountain ships.

My random Winx Club & Ojamajo Doremi idea

This was a draft I made August 17, 2024(going off the date on the tumblr draft) on my main blog then kind of just forgot about it when it was maybe half or so way done.(Last thing added was the pics showing the magic/witch world of Ojamajo DoReMi as examples) For whatever reason I decided put the post on my art blog since I kind of just post ideas here anyway.

This is an idea I sometimes think about occasionally that'd be interesting to see as a fic or something. It's not exactly perfectly but if someone decides to use it they can probably fix something.

This all involves knowing about both Winx Club(at least past season 2) & Ojamajo Doremi(full series since this involves stuff from after the final season Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan)

So the idea is Hana either being an exchange student(well she's going to visit, no one is going over to the Witch World) for a few weeks or something or is visiting the school to see what it's like & might join later since either they haven't set everything up or she's not old enough yet. The exchange student bit involves her being in her teens & the second idea involves Hana either being in her teens or the main cast of Ojamajo Doremi's age(they were I think in middle school or graduated it at the end of the series) & using her magic to change her age like in the show.(Context in the final season Hana used her magic to look older so she could go to school in the human world with the rest of the cast) The idea is that she either went into teen stage at some point to fit in on the tour or changed at some point on the tour.

This can also be seen as before Doremi 16 or it never happened. Context Doremi 16 is a novel continuation were the main cast(except Hana given she's younger than the others so she used magic to be older) are teens & become witches again.(It later continues on with it going into the main cast going into adulthood)

I haven't seen Winx Club in years, I faintly remember seeing the episodes were Flora & Aisha got Enchantix. I didn't get to see Winx Club from the start of the series but at one point managed to watch a couple of the first episodes of season 1, like the fact Stella is why Bloom got to the fairy school & tried to lie about who she was until a certain point.

I remember at the end of the episode the staff were surprised that there was someone with magic on Earth. This lead to the idea of the school founding out about the magic world connected to Earth & managed to talk with the Witch Queen & some of the others. They agree that it might be a good idea to make connections with Earth's magic world so the queen decides to have Hana visit the fairy school to see what it's like since she's the next in line for the throne & semi understands things better thanks to having been around & raised by humans.(Well Majo Rika raised her when the girls were busy & fully takes over as her mom when everything is over but still)

I say the fairy school & not the witch school because Hana wouldn't fit in with Winx Club's witch school.(Plus didn't one witch transfer to the fairy school cause she didn't fit in after being stuck as a pumpkin thanks to the three villain witches?) Some of the witches seem like they'd fit in with them but the magic world & many of the people(& the witch apprentices from Earth from Ojamajo DoReMi) there I feel wouldn't fit with the witches.

Seriously look at these, the sky is rainbow. Admittedly sometimes it's brown but I think that's certain areas & the point is that Ojamajo Doremi's witch world doesn't fit in with Winx Club's witches.

Anyway I got distracted, sorry about the rambling.(Also took like most of a year to return to this)

So the idea is that the fairy school found out about the magic world connected to the human world.(Probably took some time because you have to wait for a full moon to go to the Witch World to take witch apprentice exams) While talking the witch queen decided it might be worth making connections with the fairy school(and maybe other people connected to the school or something). The queen agreed to take a tour with the possibility of the next in line(for context Hana isn't related to the queen, witches are born from flowers) for the throne(Hana) to go to the school for experience with the fairies in the future when she's ready/old enough.

The main cast of Winx Club due to all the work they seem to do(especially helping save the universe plus at one point helping newer classmates at the start of one season) got asked to help Hana around the school. The girls get to meet the queen & witch senate, they get to talk a little/walk around before learning Hana managed to wander off. The girls then go to find her & possibly meet the fairies(context witches in Ojamajo DoReMi after one exam are given a fairy that can pretend to be them if needed) which leads to learning a little about the world Hana comes from.

They eventually meet Hana, she's either a teen or used her magic to go into her teen form to fit in. They interact(dunno what'd happen, maybe Hana ends up having to help with a fight or something) & at some point Hana talks about her life & world some. Maybe also bond over their parents not being around, I know Bloom cares for her parents but it was a shock to her to learn she's adopted & later learn her family is gone. Hana's adopted moms aren't dead but she can't see them again until she becomes queen & allows them to visit since they gave up being witches since it'd mean saying goodbye to their friends/family in the human world.(Probably also really weird to the Winx girls that Hana was raised by some middle schoolers with the supervision of a witch who took over as her adopted mom after returning to the witch world let alone if Hana found out the queen let this happen because she saw the potential in the girls to help the magic world)

Some of the interactions could be interesting because Hana lived on Earth like Bloom so despite some differences(like Hana living in Japan & having had magic in her life even while on Earth) they might be able to bond over stuff from Earth that some witches don't understand.

Flora would probably be interested in the fact witches & wizards are born from plants since she's the fairy of nature, maybe Hana also mentioning that her name came from the fact she was born from a blue rose in the royal garden.(Also the fact she kind of lived around plants since the season she was born/introduced involved the cast working at a plant nursery/shop) It's also kind of funny to me that Hana's name was Flora in the French dub so maybe a ref to that or something.

Musa would probably be interested to learn how much music plays a part in the witch world like how instruments end up being important with some characters(like the main cast giving up an instrument to get a higher apprentice wand at one point, the fact Hana can play a magic accordion) & the written language of the Witch world being made with music notes.

Eventually after whatever happens while hanging out Majo Rika, the witch queen & the rest of the witch senate/staff find them. They continue/finish the tour(depending on how long everything lasted) before Hana says goodbye to the girls & returns home with the rest of the witches leaving everyone to think on everything.

Maybe at a later point Hana showing up as some kind of exchange student(I again say this but she's the only one visiting, no one is going over to the Witch world's school but maybe the Winx girls could go over for a few days to see what it's like) & her time at the fairy school, possibly joining in on whatever the main cast is up to.

Maybe if the Doremi 16 & so on books happen she could eventually return & tell the cast about the new adventures she had with her friends/family after they got older & got to deal with magic again.

I dunno, for some reason I kept thinking about what could happen if these two series had a crossover cause it'd be interesting & Hana has some moments that could connect with the Winx girls/main cast here & there. Probably also the girls going on adventures while dealing with a new comer/younger member of the team joining them. I dunno how well Hana's magic would help in a fight but I know she could probably find a way to help.
