I HAVENT FELT THIS INSPIRED SINCE I FIRST WORKED AT GE....

Arduino Unoだけで音を作るDigital Synth VRA8-N v2.0.0をリリースしました。5/4(土)-5(日) #MFKyoto2019 Maker Faire Kyoto 2019に出展します。よろしくお願いします。

コントローラー "OSC (SAW/SQ)" を "OSC1/2 (SAW/SQ)" に変更（OSC1と2に別の波形を設定できるように）

対応コントローラーに "EXPRESSION", "EXP > CUTOFF", "EXP > AMP LEVEL", "EXP BY VEL (OFF/ON)" を追加

Arduino IDE 1.8.5を強く推奨（Arduino IDE 1.8.6以降では性能が出ませんでした）

エクスプレッションまたはベロシティに対応（どちらかのみ有効）したり、ウィンドシンセっぽいプリセット「#5 WS」を追加したり���ました。エクスプレッション対応のために、アンプでの乗算を「16ビット×8ビット」から「8ビット×8ビット」に変更しました。誤差拡散法を2回適用することなどで、音質の劣化は防げていると考えていますが、どうでしょうか。

改めて性能測定（DEBUGモード）してみたところ、エクスプレッションの連続変更中は音程ズレ（ピッチ低下）は発生しなさそうですが、（例によって、CPUパワーの限界を超えてしまうため）少し波形が歪むようです。私の耳ではわからないのでオーケーとしています。

今のところv2.1は出さない予定ですが、今後も音質の改善（v2でも、いくつかの計算ミスを修正した）やCPUパワーに影響しなさそうな機能追加を行う可能性があります。

この開発日記、更新ペースが月イチになっていますね。そろそろVRA8-ψ (psi) の開発に本腰を入れたいところですが、夏のイベントでVRA8-N v2とVRA8-ψ (psi) のどちらを出展しようかは迷うところです。
