This is a special message from Erik Champney, one of the extremely creative and talented co-writer/directors of "Macabre" (@macabrethemovie on all socials). Erik refers to Zack Cherry his co-writer/director and explains a little about the horror/slasher style short film, their plans to take it to several global #filmfestivals after it is completed, and how they hope to gain enough notoriety for "Macabre" to eventually create a feature length film.

Avec Christine, on a fêté nos 40 ans d'amitié en faisant en Octobre un voyage de 15 jours en Sicile. 

A Palerme, impossible de ne pas voir un de leurs typiques théâtres de pupi (marionnettes). On est donc allés à 2 pas de la Cattedrale, Via Petro Novelli, au Teatro Argento dell'Opera dei Pupi.

Comme la plupart des cas, la pièce de ce jour évoque tel ou tel événement du combat de Charlemagne et ses paladins contre les Maures, les coupant en deux d'un coup d'épée (effets spéciaux très amusants !). Mais interviennent aussi des êtres surnaturels comme ici un dragon, qui crache de la fumée !

A la fin, on vient saluer les marionnettistes (Le directeur, M. Argento est à droite sur la photo 4) et on découvre les coulisses.

Ce fut un moment mémorable !
