Ukraine Donation Guide Master Post

(Ver. 2 updated Aug 13th, 2024) I will be reformatting this and adding more in the future when I have time.

Also a quick note, all of the groups I have found through twitter have been around long enough for them to be vetted by each other and the brigades they work with. In fact, a lot of these groups collaborate with each other too. Those that are in the fight for Ukraine have been diligent in calling out those that are grifters. Word spreads around quickly if an organization doesn't show up with what they promised. They also use their social media (often Twitter) as a means of transparency for their work.

Remember: When considering on whether to donate, always use your best judgement and donate to those you trust if you do not see what is listed is up to your standards.

Multi-Purpose

United 24 has various fundraisers dedicated to defense and drones, medical aid, rebuilding Ukraine, humanitarian demining, and science and education. You can pick which one you want to contribute to under their various projects.

Liberty Ukraine uses funds for humanitarian aid, medical supplies, protective gear and equipment, and rehabilitation therapy. You can choose which campaign of theirs to donate to.

Come Back Alive is a charitable foundation that supports Ukraine's military with competent assistance while also focusing on security and defense. They also have projects that use sports to help veterans rehabilitate. You can choose which campaign to donate to.

Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation works to help both civilians and Ukraine's army. You can choose to donate to an active project or any of their general campaigns. Civilian aid campaigns cover temporary housing, supporting crisis and emergency responses, schools, demining, and healthcare. Military aid campaigns cover drones, optics units, communications equipment, and support of air defense teams.

Food Aid

World Central Kitchen works with local partners wherever they are providing food aid. They make sure meals and meal kits are what the local population eats. Even though there is no separate fundraising campaign for Ukraine (that I can see), they still do great work.

Animal Rescue

Hachiko Foundation works to help displaced pets and strays in frontline areas. They help with veterinary care, outdoor shelters, setting up feeding stations, and rehoming animals.

Medical Aid

Hospitallers (Website) is a volunteer organization of paramedics that was founded in 2014. They evacuate the wounded, provide medical aid on the frontlines, assist in rehabilitation, and transfer of the deceased to burial sites. They are also supported by Ukraine Charity. Visit Hospitallers' website to see how many they have evacuated, different methods you can donate, and more information about them.

Other

Saint Javelin (Twitter; Website) is a great place to get apparel, gear, and other cool loot to show your support for Ukraine. They don't take donations, but instead raise funds through their shop with a portion of their sales going towards humanitarian aid and critical items needed by the defenders (generators, pick-up trucks, medical supplies etc). Part of their shop has items made in Ukraine to support Ukrainian businesses. Overall, their products are high-quality. I include them due to their impactful presence in the Twitter community I follow and how they make Ukraine visible in an alternative way. Consider buying someone a gift from their shop.

The Kyiv Independent (Twitter; Website) is a great English language resource for news about Ukraine. I include them because I think supporting good journalism is incredibly important, especially now when the information space is fraught with Russian propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation. My followers have probably noticed I've pulled a lot of quotes from their stories in an effort to amplify Ukrainian voices and experiences. Look on their website for more information on different way to support them, such as their Patreon.

If you're on twitter, there are a number of groups and people that fundraise for Ukraine and for specific units fighting on the frontlines. If there is no official website, a PayPal for donations is listed in their profiles. When considering on whether to donate, always use your best judgement and donate to those you trust if you do not see what is listed is up to your standards.

@/Teoyaomiquu almost always has a fundraiser for Liberty Ukraine with a specified purpose. At the time of writing this, he is currently raising funds for engineering equipment such as excavators. One such excavator is already in Kursk. Follow him to stay up to date with what he's fundraising for.

Dyga's Paw (Twitter: @/dzygaspaw) is a smaller group that has recently raised funds for starlinks, drones, batteries, and Ecoflow generators. You can look at the fundraising campaigns they currently have on their website.

@/DefactoHumanity represents and founded Planet of the People with their website U(a)nited for Freedom. She frequently posts updates about their fundraisers and what their partners need. They are known for providing Frontline medical aid supplies, protective equipment and other military aid, technical equipment (starlinks, drones, scopes, etc), and infrastructure equipment (generators, vehicles, power stations, etc). They even have a merch store of the battalions they partner with if that's your jam. Here is their link tree if you wish to explore more. And in case you're curious, there is an article bout the founder here.

@/wilendhornets (Website) specialize in making high quality drones that have gotten a lot of praise from Ukraine's army. They have attracted a lot of media attention too. Check out their website for the list of articles that have been written about them. Their Twitter is very active with strike footage.

Ants Kitchen Hub (@/ants_kyiv) is a volunteer kitchen that makes dry rations for the Ukrainian army. They are more active on their other social media. To learn more about them, check out their link tree.

@/frontlinekit (Front Line Kitchen) is represented by Richard Woodruff. Originally they made shelf stable food for the Ukrainian army, but now their fundraising has branched out to other campaigns such as raising funds for medical supplies and drones. They are a well known group that many battalions have come to for help.

@/bekamaciorowski (Rebekah Maciorowski) is as combat medic and nurse who helps provide medical care to soldiers and civillians at the frontlines. She raises funds for medical supplies and other equipment, but also helps train soldiers in first aid. More of her social media that features her work can be found in her link tree.

@/UkraineAidOps (Website) is another organization battalions frequently go to for help. They fundraise for all sorts of equipment from medical supplies to drones. If you're interested, they also have a shop with patches from different brigades and flags signed by soldiers. Their shop also includes a separate section called the Victory Gallery where artifacts from the war are turned into art. This includes shells that are painted on, scrap metal from downed enemy planes are turned into keychains, and pieces of a rocket are turned into lamps.

Chris Garrett is the co-founder of Prevail. His organization deals with humanitarian demining as well as training for trauma care, training of bomb disposal, and education to the public. Prevail works with local agencies in Ukraine as well as the army.

Project Konstantin (Twitter; Website; Linktree) is still going strong after the death of their founder, British paramedic Peter Fouché. His digital ghost can be found here. They collaborate with the military, thus giving them an insight into what is dearly needed. They often raise funds for starlinks, personalized first aid kits (IFAKs), generators, portable power stations, and other nonlethal military equipment. I regret forgetting them the first time this post went around. Visit their website to see everything they have done and more. It has more information on what and how they do it than this post can cover.

One Team One Fight (Twitter; Website; Linktree) has some of the original members that worked for Ukraine Aid Ops. They formed their own group after differences with the previous one, and are still helping Ukraine. They are very visible on various social media showing what they have accomplished in their deliveries to various brigades. They're another group that seeks to bring starlinks, drones, medical supplies and protective gear to the battalions that come to them for help. Check out their website for more information on their current fundraisers, their achievements, and received recognition.

NAFO 69th Sniffing Brigade (Twitter; Website) Another small group that focuses their funds on delivering drones, generators, vehicles, and saving the occasional furry companion. They are very diligent in their updates for their fundraising campaigns. Check out their website for more information and the articles written about them.

Postmaster General Boomer (Twitter; Website) focuses on humanitarian aid, animal aid, and logistics. Boomer is the beloved pet of one of the founders and the secret boss/mascot. They have many transparency reports and are diligent in reporting the various "tours" they do in getting supplies where they are needed to go. They are based in Germany but have built up many connections during their existence. They have also worked closely with Ukraine Aid Ops.

Army, Man

Juan was your average guy before his life was changed forever. Decent grades at his dream college, but no friends to speak of. So when he received a letter to join the US army in his assigned mailbox Juan was very confused. "The army? They must joking." Juan spoke as he looked at the recruitment flyer in his dorm room.

Juan and being enlisted in the army sounded like a twisted joke to him. He was scrawny and could barely do one pushup in gym class. Either way, Juan noticed a number at the bottom of the flyer in big bold letters and some voice in his head was nagging at him to call it.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt. Maybe it'll be fun! Who knows!" So Juan grabbed his phone and dialed the number.

Some rings later and it sounded like a guy picked a phone. "Hey there, Name's Gruff, I'm assuming you're calling cause of the flyer you got in the mail, yeah?" Gruff's was deep and masculine. Definitely Juan's type but I bet he was straight.

"Y-Yeah! I thought I'd give it a shot since it's not like I got anything better to do!"

"That's the spirit man! Our army count has been real low due to... events so even one guy joining is great! But first I just need to ask you a few questions..." "A-Alright. Go on ahead..." Juan had to wonder what they would ask. "First question! Are you sure you want to join the army?" Gruff's tone was dead serious on this one and it shook Juan up a bit. "U-Uh... Yeah!" Juan was too far in to quit now at least that was his reasoning.

"Wonderful! Next question. How muscular are you?"

Juan frowned. As mentioned before, he barely had muscle and never went to the gym. Still, he felt the need to answer honestly.

"N-Not really sir. Sorry." "Haha don't worry about it! Alright that's all see you soon!" Gruff hung up before Juan could even say bye.

Juan was a bit shaken but that wasn't too bad. Juan pondered the interaction and something hit him. "Wait... I didn't tell him my address and he said he'll see me soo-" A wave of pain immediately hit Juan and he fell to the floor.

It wasn't before long Juan's body began to grow and get more muscular. Juan's arms became much beefier as his biceps were the size of sports balls. Six perfect abs popped onto Juan's stomach as his nonexistent chest began to inflate and become thick poppable pecs as his back expanded to support his new musculature making his tshirt real tight. Soon after, Juan's neck got thicker as his adam's apple was now ever more prominent than before as he gained some facial hair around his mouth. Juan's legs were next to grow as his thighs became much larger and his legs more defined as feet increased some sizes. Luckily Juan wasn't wearing any shoes but Juan's socks definitely didn't survive the growth. Some more minor changes appeared like a bigger dick and Juan's body aging physically. It's a miracle none of Juan's clothes ripped apart but it's not like it mattered anyway as Juan's apparel began to change.

Juan's graphic tee became more tough material and more generic as it became a dark green. It was still tight around Juan's figure though. Next up was Juan's pants as it gained a camouflage pattern and became cargo pants. A belt magically appeared and looped around the belt holes of his news pants as well as an army hat wrapping around Juan's head. Juan's socks were stitched back together and went a dark black and suddenly army boots were now being worn by Juan. The last change was an army tag appearing around Juan's neck saying "Juan Graham". Juan was now the definition of a buff army man.

Once the pain subsided and Juan regained his bearings he readjusted his glasses and looked at the mirror nearby. "What the- WHAT THE FU- Oh god, my voice... my EVERYTHING!" Juan was amazed but also scared. He gained muscles in seconds but how?

And before Juan could question things further, Juan's phone rang once again. Juan saw that it was the army recruit number. He concluded they must be involved so he answered the call.

"Hey Juan, ready for your first day?" It was Gruff again "First day? You did this to me, didn't you?"

"Not sure what you mean, but you agreed to join the army and we need you now." "But I don't even know anything about how to do anythin-" One more sound of pain hit Juan as memories of years of military training and gym workouts filled his mind. Everything he could ever need to be in the army was now in his brain. Juan now much more confident started a new sentence. "Nevermind. When does the car get here?"

"That's our Juan! Should be there soon. You can walk out and wait already." "Perfect. See you soon." Juan hung up and left his dorm and old life behind. It was probably for the best anyway. He much preferred being a beefcake army man than some twink in college.

Four took in a deep breath and tried to straighten his hair out once more. He was nervous but excited.

You had finally agreed to spend some time with him. He really wanted it to be a date but he wasn’t about to push his luck when it took him more than the usual amount of courage he could muster just to ask to get you alone.

He also pulled down and straightened his tunic and tried to be as presentable as possible.

He left his house with high hopes and a picnic basket.

Walking through Castle Town only serves to heighten his anxiety. What if he messes up? What if he makes a fool out of himself? What if he ruins any chance he might have had with you? What if he makes himself look like such an idiot that you laugh at him and then the whole town knows just how much of a loser he is?

Four finds himself at your front door.

His thoughts make him think that this is a dumb idea. It halts his hand right as he’s about to knock on the door. He should leave. He should just call it off. He can send a message later saying that he didn’t feel good and if you both can reschedule.

The doors opens

“Oh!” It’s your mother. She smiles brightly before he can say anything, and calls back into the house. “Honey! Link is here!”

“Thanks mom!” You call back from the beyond.

Four gulps quietly and smiles back at your mother, wanting to make a good impression despite the fact his name is a household name at this point. “I hope you don’t mind me stealing her for a little bit. I’ll have her back before sun down.”

Your mother’s smile seems to widen and she steps back. “It might be a while before they come out. Do you want to come inside?”

“No! No! I’m ready, I’m here!” You cry out before he can respond. You kiss your mother on the cheek before ushering her back inside. “We’ll be safe and make good choices and come back before you know it. Ok, goodbye!”

Your mother laughs but closes the door behind her.

Four feels a little dumbfounded. He had prepared to answer her but he wasn’t prepared for the way you sent yourself flying out of the house just to see him. He didn’t think you’d be this excited about a small picnic by the lake.

Unable to process the very abrupt cut to the social interaction he was having, he glances over your apparel while you straighten yourself out as well. You’ve put more conscious effort than usual into your hair, and he doesn’t think he’s seen that shirt before. Is that new?

There’s a slight floral scent in the air now. Did you put on new perfume too?

Four feels himself blush a bit. At least he wasn’t the only one who wanted to look nice for this. “I like this.” He gestures to you. “I could get used to more of this.”

You cough and get a delightful shade of pink dusted over your features. You even bless his ears with a small giggle, albeit a confused one. “You just gestured to all of me.”

“Yes.”

You gulp, brightening into a scarlet red over your features.

Four feels like a total dork as he holds out his free arm. “Ready?”

You bite your lip deliciously and slip your arm in his. “Yes. I’m ready.”

Four grins and begins to lead the way to the lake, ignoring all the stares that come his way. He hopes that you’re not too bothered by it. He didn’t stop to think about the gossip that will no doubt sprout from this.

“I hope you’re hungry.” He says in the lull of silence, wanting to distract from the fact that the people are no doubt watching. Four wiggles the basket in his arm to bring your attention to it. “I think I packed enough food to feed a small army. So feel free to eat as much as you want.”

You snort and shake your head. “You always do this. I promise you, I get fed enough at home as it is.”

Four bites his lip and tilts his head away from you, trying (and failing) to play innocent. “Let me do this. I don’t cook enough as it is.”

“Oh, so I’m your guinea pig?” You tease. He finds it in himself to relax as he answers you. “Of course! Dad won’t let me in the kitchen otherwise. Something about how blacksmiths only work with one type of stove and are a risk to burning down the house.”

You laugh a little more. “I’ve always liked your dad. But isn’t your grandpa a blacksmith as well?”

“Guess who’s not allowed in the kitchen either.”

You laugh louder, more carefree and Four forgets his anxieties just for a little bit. He smiles with you, taking in your radiance and brilliance. Beautiful. You’re beautiful. There’s no other word for it. Four can feel his breath get stuck in his throat, feeling content to simply watch you.

Before he realizes it, you’ve both reached the lake in the nick of time. He’s quick to set up the blanket and  get the food ready while you’re busy admiring the scenery as the light becomes more moody. “I don’t think I’ve ever been here at this time of day. It’s beautiful.”

Four pauses and looks back towards you, no doubt with a love stricken look on his face. “I’ll try to bring you out more often then. The world is beautiful no matter where we find ourselves… We just have to look at it.”

You hum and look back down at him, sitting down without much thought to your movement.

You kiss cheek and he stills.

Four can feel you grow a bit nervous from his reaction, or lack of one if he had to be more honest with himself. His heart begins to shoot in a rapid fire in his chest and he forces himself to look up.

You seem to regret your actions fairly quickly. That just won’t do. “Sorry! That was a little uncalled for, wasn’t it? I didn’t mean- I’m sorry. I should have at least asked.”

“You missed.” Four blurts. 

“What?”

What, indeed! What on earth possessed him to say that?

Four meets your gaze head on, willing the blush off of his face so he can keep it straight. “I said you missed.”

You seem to fluster even more and lean closer, even as you struggle to meet his eyes. “Did I?”

Four leans closer as well, not entirely sure where he plans for this to go. “I’m sure you did.”

You gulp a little, mirroring him subconsciously. “And where was I supposed to kiss you then?”

Four bites his lip once more and he notices that your eyes dart to the small movement. His confidence begins to grow more by the second. “I can show you.”

You lean even more and he can feel the way your nose brushes against his. “Show me?”

“Will you let me?” His voice drops to a whisper.

“Always.”

Four closes the distance. He’s not sure what to do, but he’s quickly aware that you don’t either. He doesn’t try to think much about it and simply lets his emotions and desires guide him, hoping that it’s at least a nice experience for you.

Your lips are soft against his and it makes him smile. A hand comes up to cup your cheek while the other rests at the back of your neck, pulling you deliciously closer.

The food has all been forgotten at this point.

Four can feel your hand come up and snake their way into his hair as well. He can feel the slight tug and follows the direction you give him to deepen the kiss as it is.

He has to pull back a little to take a breath. While he was aware that a kiss could be breathtaking, he didn’t think he would literally forget to breathe during said kiss.

“Link.” You’re just as breathless and Four finds himself tucking away the way your voice sounds for a future experiment. But for now- “Much better.”

He kisses you again because he still can, and pulls back to reach over for some of the food he brought. He refuses for it to go to waste. “Here. Try this. It’s your favorite cake. Or at least an attempt at your favorite cake.”

Your breath catches and he hears your voice squeak, but doesn’t comment on it. “You mAde all of this?!”

“Of course.” Four sends you his most charming smile, handing you the plate of cake anyway. “I gave it my best shot but don’t be afraid to tell me if you hate it.”

“...Link, I don’t think I can eat all of this.”

“Well, we’ll just have to do this again.”

At Wendy's recently I heard a guy ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that seniors over age 55 ...get 10% off everything on the menu, every day. (But you need to ASK for your discount.)

This incident prompted me to do some research, and I came across a list of restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, travel deals and other types of offers giving various discounts with different age requirements. I was actually surprised to see how many there are and how some of them start as young as 50. The list is evolving and many chains are independently operated so discounts may vary at participating locations only.

Number 7! Tomorrow’s a week, guys!! I’m also putting this one under the cut cuz it’s a bit longer than I anticipated(as per usual). Let me know if you all are fed up with me putting everything under the cut. I’m just trying to make it easier to peruse these posts, as there are going to be a lot by the end of this.

Oh, Absolutely Not. (Twins AU)

Cale wouldn’t call himself vain, but he knew how to appreciate a good thing. He knew he had a good face and body, that’s not even talking about his perfectly styled hair. He prided himself in taking utmost care of his appearance, unlike his lazy, ‘the only exercise I need is breathing,’ brother. To top it all off, he had a sense of style. Sure, all those fancy outfits and accessories could be a pain to put on, but that much was nothing compared to the final results.

He stared as the other person squirmed under his gaze. This simply will not do.

Normally, Cale would leave his brother to his own devices about his wardrobe, heaven knows he has no sense of style and doesn’t care what other people think of him on any given day. But he would be absolutely appalled if he let his twin brother come dressed to a gala like he just got out of bed. This wasn’t like those times they just teleported into the Crown Prince’s bedroom, this was an actual gala, with actual nobles and royalty, all looking at them. Cale was not going to go around letting someone with his face dress in poor standards.

Calyan apparently had enough of Cale’s withering glare, as he finally spoke, “I don’t see why it’s a big deal. I can just go dressed like this.” And Cale would almost rather he not go at all. When his glare deepened, Calyan said something else. “Or I could go in the commanders uniform?” OK, that’s it.

“Calyan,” Cale started “for the love of your slacker life and both of your Hyung-nim’s dignities, please just don’t talk.”

Any more of this and he might start wishing for a slacker life himself.

How his twin brother grew up in the same household, with the same spoiled rich life as him, and yet still had no sense of fashion appalled him. If it wasn’t for the fact that Calyan was just a weaker, paler, skinnier copy of him with long hair, Cale would sometimes question if they were even brothers, let alone twins. Alas, Cale Henituse is stuck with the weakest and laziest(at least when it comes to his wardrobe and getting out of bed) brother in the history of the Roan Kingdom. Is this really the Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies who defeated the White Star and resealed the Sealed god? This shrimp? This guy who looked like he was about to march into his own funeral instead of a gala hosted by the Crown Prince(soon to be Emperor), aka, his Hyung-nim?

Commander or not, if Cale had to go “mingle” with the other nobles on account of his newly acquired Swordmaster status, then Calyan had to go as the Commander and Cale’s twin. There’s no way that Cale would torture himself going if Calyan wasn’t forced into going too.

And if Calyan was going too, then Cale would make sure he looked absolutely fantastic. It was also his face after all. The face is the final piece to fashion, but a nice get up never hurt anyone.

Ignorant to the long suffering look his model/brother wore, Cale got to work scouring, not Calyan’s, but his own closet.

Calyan watched with dawning horror as his twin pulled out what must have been some people’s (even by noble standards) entire closet. And the worst part is, it didn’t seem to have even made a dent in his brother’s vast collection of apparel.

It was an exhausting three hours in which Cale played dress up with what was probably over thirty different ensembles. Including, but not limited to; a silver button up with a heart pattern on the chest(just why.), paired with a navy dress coat and dark grayish blue dress pants. And heeled shoes. Yeah, no. Another ensemble included a white button up under a gold colored vest and a black overcoat with a pair of simple black dress pants, all under a white cape with gold accents and embroidery; and we can’t forget the gold-rimmed glasses. He didn’t even wear glasses. Another ridiculously lavish outfit was a white dress shirt with a black vest that had little flower designs on it, under a purple tailcoat and a silver scarf of all things. Furthermore, the tail of the coat nearly reached his ankles, and the white pants were paired with a gold belt connected to a dangling butterfly. Hard pass.

At the end of it all, they(Cale) finally decided on a white dress shirt under a burgundy vest with intricate swirling patterns, paired with sophisticated black dress pants and a cape that was such a dark red color that it looked black. Throughout the fabric of the cape was a pattern of gold vines, and the vest had several gold chains hanging from it. Last, there was a simple yet stylish black ribbon around the collar.

Cale stood back to inspect his choice of outfit. Not too bad. It didn’t scream luxury like his own often did, and yet it easily told of his status.

Of course Cale had to match his brother. What better way was there to show that were a set?

Cale’s outfit consisted of a wine red button up with the same black ribbon, a black vest, and a white cape with gold vines in the fabric. Of course, he also had several gold chains hanging from the black vest and dress pants. And where his brother chose to go with simple black boots, Cale wore stylish black leather dress shoes with gold buckles. Because he had class.

Now the cherry on the cake would have to be Calyan’s hair, which he would entrust to Roan’s best stylists, Rosalyn and On. On loved to style her father’s long hair and Rosalyn didn’t suffer through countless balls and other formal events for nothing.

Now with their gala attire selected, they finally finished their much needed revisions for the party preparations. Both redheads were exhausted by the end of it, however, one was filled with a sense of victory and accomplishment at finally succeeding in convincing Calyan to wear ‘appropriate’ attire.

As a reward for putting up with his brother’s relentless nagging, Calyan was now relaxing with a nice book, some desserts, and some sweet tea since Ron had yet to return from his errands in Huiss, and thus the butler was not there to torture him with a sour beverage. As for Cale, he left his lazy brother to his own devices.

Sometime later, Cale passed Ron, who had just returned, it seemed, on his way to the underground training room of the Henituse estate in the Capital. He figured he could get in some extra sword training until Hans came to fetch him for dinner. While he didn’t need the practice, per se, he still enjoyed the light workout.

During the final battle against the Lion Dragon, Cale Henituse had finally reached the Swordmaster level. It was quite the accomplishment, being only twenty years old after all. Hannah and Clopeh were both a few years older than him, and according to Calyan, Choi Han was much older than he looked. Yes, quite an accomplishment indeed. Even without his memories from his previous life (if you could even call those fragments ‘memories’), which he hadn’t actually acquired until right before the final battle at Puzzle City, Cale still made astronomical progress in his swordsmanship. So, he could confidently say that he reached that milestone using his own strength.

When he arrived at the training grounds, he found that it was already occupied by their resident “Youngest” Swordmaster. Scoffing, he headed toward the rack of training swords. The Korean had surely noticed his entrance, but chose to keep doing his practice drills rather than to address the redhead’s interruption. Well, we can’t have that now, can we?

A wooden sword came flying at Choi Han, which he easily caught without even looking.

“Up for some light practice, our Dear Youngest Swordmaster?” The black haired individual finally turned his head to face the young master who was looking at him with his trademark cocky grin. Even after two years, it still weirded him out seeing that smile on his “liege’s” face.

“Try and last longer this time, Cale-nim.”

So the two started their “light spar.” Needless to say, it ended in Choi Han’s victory, much to Cale’s incessant whining about the unfairness on account of Choi Han’s many years of experience.

Well, old man or not, to Cale, Choi Han would always maintain his youthful, emo glow.

Yes, Cale learnt what emo means thanks to one of Calyan’s off topic comments about pre-regression Choi Han. And yes, he does use it to tease Choi Han every chance he gets.

For the outfits….you’re just gonna have to use your imagination. Mostly, it was my own imagination and a mashup of outfits from Pinterest that inspired the ones described. I might draw them later though.

Wednesday was not a person that was easily worried, even about the people she genuinely cared for. She had faith in their abilities to defend themselves, and if that faith waivered she was more than ready to step in and protect them in any shape or form. That shape and form usually being freshly sharpened blades meeting the soft flesh of whoever thought it would be a good idea to harm the ones she loves.

Which is why when you had been missing from the day's classes, which is something you’d never usually do, she felt the familiar icy grip of worry tugs at her heart. Illogical thoughts of the numerous enemies she had rallied up at her stay at Nevermore flashing before her eyes, your body beaten and bloody held in their grip. Normally she found the idea of Tyler still hunting her down with Thornhill and her army of decaying colonisers to be amusing, such a sad attempt at a long-dead victory, yet when she thought of you being in harm's way because of her, her normally steady heart picked up a few paces.

So, in her mind, she was rightfully worried that you had been brutally murdered and left in a ditch. Although usually, the prospect of a new murder to solve would have excited her, considering this was you her excitement was more fear and cold, dark dread.

“Enid,” Wednesday called as she stared down at the girl seated at one of the Quad’s lunch tables. “I am concerned about Y/N, they have been out of lessons all day. It is unlike them.”

The blonde girl flashed the scowling girl a quick smile, “don’t worry about it, apparel they caught some cold from a normie. Seriously, how those guys get sick so often is beyond me. But anyways, yeah.”

Whilst Wednesday did feel her worry lower slightly, it still did not disappear. She hated the thought of you being in pain and alone…

This is why she was currently pushing the door to your dorm open, she let her eyes adjust to the pitch-black darkness of the room before slowly stepping inside.

“Y/N?” her voice came out as a soft whisper, carefully trying not to land on any squeaky floorboards.

The only response she got was a rough grunt, followed by wheezing that grated against her ears, the stuffiness of the room feeling as if it was clawing at her skin.

Oh, God. 

Wednesday hated sick people. 

She loathed people on a good day, but sick people? In her experience with Pugsley, they were clingy, pathetic, and the embodiment of everything Wednesday was disgusted by. But no, this was you. gritting her teeth and ignoring the stifling aura of your dorm, she forced herself not to just turn and leave.

“Wends?” you reached over to turn on your bedside lamp, a soft groan coming from your mouth as your sensitive body stretched too quickly. “Whatcha doin’ here?”

As a soft glow flooded the room, Wednesday got a good look at you. Your hair was in complete disarray, your skin flushed, eyes drooping. Despite the lack of blankets on your body, there was still a thin gleam of sweat across your body.

“You were not in classes. I had begun to think someone had maimed you and left you for dead.”

“Yeah, well, I fucking wish. Anything would be bet-“ you couldn’t finish your sentence as your wheezing turned into a round of violent coughs that left your chest aching and your throat feeling raw.

Wednesday stepped towards your bed, pulling the water bottle by your bed up to your lips, titling your head back gently as you gulped down as much water as you could.

“Careful, drinking too fast will only cause stomach pains,” her voice was delicate as her fingers brushed a piece of hair that was clinging to your forehead away.

“God ‘s so hot in here,” you flopped back down onto your pillow. With your eyes widening slightly you rushed out a string of questions about missing any important projects or tests, you really couldn’t let your grades slip. Not so close to these stupid fucking exams.

Without thinking, Wednesday placed her hand back on your forehead, soothing your hair back as she looked down at you. a relieved sigh came from your lips as you felt her slightly calloused hands touch your skin, her freakishly cold skin cooling the rampaging heat that swam through your body.

“You should be focusing on getting healing, your grades will not suffer if you do not attend classes for a few days,” the goth absolutely hated how soft her voice sounded, but she felt the urge to console you in some way. She shared your desire to succeed in every aspect of life, to be the best of the best. Wednesday liked the envious or crushed looks the other students gave her when she got practically perfect scores again, it truly was as close to euphoria as Wednesday had felt at Nevermore. Except when she was with you, of course.

Her line of thought was broken as you hummed lightly as her hand moved against your hair once again, your stomach growling softly not too long after, yet you looked far too content and tired to even notice your apparent hunger.

“Stay here, I will be back soon,” the small girl briskly walked towards the door, leaving as quietly as she arrived.

You had spent what felt like hours fighting off sleep, trying to ignore the pounding in your head and the way breathing became more painful each time your coughed, no matter how gently your tried to do it.

But more than anything you missed how her voice soothed the pounding in your head, how her touch let you feel like you could relax, really relax. Like you were safe and taken care of. At this point, you were ready to forfeit your life to whatever satanic demon was currently trying to pull it away from you.

As you felt your eyes droop closed yet again, the door was pushed open slightly, Wednesday was holding a steaming bowl of what smelt like your favourite soup.

Placing the bowl on your desk, she helped you sit up, her touch firm but caring, it almost felt as if she was worried that placing too much pressure on your currently frail body would lead you to shatter into a million pieces in her arms.

“You know, I never expected you to be so … so gentle,” you rasped out as she slowly raised a spoon of the hot food to your lips.

“I may not show it in conventional ways but I care for you more than you will ever know. Every breath I take is for you, every time I stop myself from slicing into one of these moronic outcasts is for you.”

“If I didn’t think I was going to die soon, I’d be swooning so hard right now, my love.”

Wednesday rolled her eyes as she simply kept feeding you, handing you a napkin now and then to clean yourself up. Once you were finished, she stood again with the bowl in hand.

“Wait here, I will be back soon,” and just like before she practically glided towards the door.

Before she could touch the doorhandle you called out, waiting for her dark eyes to refocus on you. “Can – can you stay? Just for a bit. I’m feeling a lot better with you here, Wednesday,” you smiled slightly.

As if contemplating her options, she stared at you for a few seconds before letting out a sigh and walking back towards your bed, planting herself on the floor with her head leaning back to rest by your hand.

“What the fuck are you doing, Addams?” you laughed and patted her head. “C’mon, come up. I promise not to infect you.”

“One, you could not even think of infecting an Addams, Pugsley and I used to play with vials containing essences of the bubonic plague whilst you were learning your ABCs,” she sat up straighter, raising a brow at you in the classical Wednesday way. “And two, I do not snuggle, I do not cuddle. You shall just have to suffer in pitiful silence, or let me leave.”

Throwing your head back in a loud groan despite the pang in your throat, you reach down as far as you can and get a firm grasp on her wrist and try to pull her up from her seat without moving too much yourself.

“Wends, I could literally die tomorrow. I could die tonight, so please, just – hold me for five minutes, okay? Five. That’s all I ask.”

Just for good measure you also throw in your best attempt at pleading puppy dog eyes, hoping you feel look less desperate than you feel.

Rolling her eyes so hard you’re concerned they may get stuck in the back of her head, she stands and climbs over to the very small piece of the bed that you weren't already sprawled over.

Without missing a beat you curl into her side, relishing in her icy skin coming into contact with your overheating body. You never thought you’d crave the feeling of ice crawling through your veins so much until you met Wednesday that is.

“I suggest you enjoy this, Y/N, I’ve already started the countdown,” gently she wraps an arm around your body when you only hum in response.

That five minutes was a total lie. You’d planned on immediately going to sleep as soon as the gothic girl climbed into your bed, and you weren’t one to ever flake out on plans.

Was Wednesday too soft to move you, especially when you looked so cutely pathetic clinging to her as you slept? Absolutely.

So, what is Wendy studying to be in college? Also, I think it was previously said that Iggy or someone else goes to the same college? So, same question to them!

And, what about the other koopalings? Why did/didn't they go to college? Do they plan to? What do they want to become?

Roy: I remember Wendy telling me that she was majoring in "dance", and I was confused, to say the least. I asked her about it, of course, and she said something like "I'm already guaranteed a job at the castle, so why not?" To be fair, from what I've heard, that class also teaches students fighting techniques just in case they want to be a part of the Koopa army. The castle isn't too far from the university, after all. I think she is also working toward a minor in apparel design, but I'm not sure. I don't ask her about that stuff too much. As for me, I already finished college. Originally, I wanted to become a cop like my mother, but I found that directly working for the Koopa army was more interesting to me, not to mention it was something I couldn't refuse doing. I chose to attend some of the specialized classes in the college around here. I didn't bother with a minor though.

Ludwig: I focused all my attention on the study of magic. Fortunately, the college I went to offered a major dedicated to it. It was a bit more complicated than I expected.. I struggled at first, but I was soon able to catch up to my peers. Even now, after I graduated, there's more things I need to learn.

Iggy: I'm going for a degree in robotics! With a minor in animal sciences! HAH. I'm not even planning on owning a farm in the future, but what the heck? I might as well do it, right?

Lemmy: I didn't go to college. Acrobatics are my passion! I don't need a bachelor's degree in "clowning". I don't even think that's a real thing...

Larry: Morton and I haven't even finished high school! We don't have to worry about that stuff yet.
