Got any advice on drawing McCoy? I hear people all the time saying how hard Jim is to draw (and he 100% is almost impossible i don’t deny) but McCoy T-T that wrinkley old bastard just completely eludes me for some reason lmao

obv this is just how i interpret them in my style. there's no right way to go about this and another thing that helps is to, aside from referencing the source material, look at how other artists (off the top of my head, toboldlymuppet's trek art on tumblr definitely had some influence in how i drew them when i'd freshly gotten into trek!)

also forgot to mention but mcspirk definitely has really distinct silhouettes!! so don't be afraid to mess around with stylisation and emphasize the features that characterize each of em :]]

for this references are your good friend! (i'm a hypocrite bc i only use refs when im completely stuck LMAO it's a bad habit. use those refs liberally. don't be like me 💀💀)

learning to stylise blorbos always takes some work but i promise you'll get there<33 here's a side by side comparison of one of my earliest bones scribbles and one of the most recent-- you can really see the evolution of how i was able to get more comfortable with characterization (even though I used refs for neither of these LOL).

A couple people asked to see my Inprnt haul so here it is! It joins two old west young blackhands art cards I got last year. Thank you to all the artists for sharing your beautiful work with us ❤️ Even though I got most in a smaller size they're all so gorgeous and the print quality is excellent. I'm already saving up for another order closer to the end of the year because as happy and content as I am there are some noticeable absences (I am greedy, I want to touch all the lovely Izzy art).

Absolutely! I mostly keep up with artists on twitter so i’ll try my best to remember their tumblr @‘s 🙇 i reblog fanart on @glitch-insp if u wanna take a look thru there too

@wellfine one of the top 3 reasons I got into OP was because of Landeg’s art, their comics and illustrations make you want to revisit them again and again!

@animunerdery’s are so so funny and her style is so distinct, very in love with how she draws Law & Sanji >:] her OP shenanigans are so so funny LOL

@sunclown I remember when Diell started posting about OP before I got into it and I was like who are these cool looking men— Diells colors and lines are simply gorgeous!

@pierogiy is probably one of the funniest people on earth and their comics are all quite literally gems to read thru, probably my favorite Sanji of all time in those

@thebaratie Jaden’s colors and lines are like candies you want to eat! Idk how to explain it but it’s just a sweet feast for the eyes :)

@goofbell incredible shapes, silhouettes and movement! The Usopp artist and draws one of the lost charming Sanji’s around!

@toboldlymuppet super dynamic and deeply layered OP illustrations, their Robin art is literally some of my favorite in the fandom

@humans-are-tasty simply some of the tastiest Crocodile art around, so many cool shapes, colors and lines!
