02/12/2021 - nasu

high key mad because I typed half a post and then resized my chrome window and this fucking thing deleted it????? what kind of dumbass bug is this..... BRUH 

ok anyway i’ll just retype it quickly. the first part at least. 

- wake up early (8am, even though I slept at 2am).  - get to sengendaya, pick up cute green nissan rental car, drive to nasu (around 2.5 hours) - lunch at kanel cafe, got espresso next door - drive to strawberry farm, turns out they’re closed - drive to artbiotop water garden, zen experience (meditative?!?!1)  - drive to nasu animal kingdom, only had 30 min there but it was so fun - drive back to town, check out chus, small stuff, grabbed pizza at a shop nearby - drive back to tokyo to return car. I DJ’d. taylor swift’s new version of love story dropped!!!! memz :’)

an item of note! I bought my flight back to the US. my last day in Japan will be april 28.  that’s kind of crazy to think about. it’s not too long, but at the same time, it does feel quite long.. I hope I make good use of the time. I’m sure it will fly by. at this current moment, at least, I do feel ready to go back. I’m not sure if this is due to me feeling dumb about a stupid boy. but also, at the same time, I think I’m ready. I’m not settled here anymore. the boxes and the mobility– that won’t give me the sense of peace I need in order to have a good working headspace.

some other thoughts. I’m a little frustrated. I hate feeling like I’m the one reaching. hate it hate it hate it. I want to feel wanted. is this something my therapist would tell me isn’t good..? who knows. I’m trying to shift out exactly what has been nagging at me. cause I know I’ll probably be passive aggressive about it for a few days lol. why ..?

let me think about the genesis of the problem. I’ve probably written about this before...

the last flareup would be that week I was probably PMSing and kind of mad that it felt like I always had to drive the conversation. that shit is fucking tiring. like do things not go anyway unless I put in all the effort to ask more questions? does no one care about what’s going on with me? then I realize I don’t think I have this issue when I talk with jean or sarah. or my close friends. so why is it like this with him?

words of affection matter to me. I told him this. but now I feel like I’m the only one that ever says anything. like there’s no effort and THAT makes me mad. this is why I fucking hate romance now. I don’t want this kind of distraction and bullshit in my life 

maybe cause it’s not defined. so I don’t know what I have the right to say. or to ask for. I didn’t think it bothered me that much but I guess it does. who am I to demand time or attention if I don’t know what I am. I need things laid out clear for me. and if it’s the case that this doesn’t matter to him ... then I want to know that. because otherwise I’m going to be here fucking frustrated.  

I guess it makes me mad because I think my year gets affected by this. anyway, I need some time. I don’t want to talk. I just shut down. urgh

2019年8月30日  この夏も那須へ。  ArtBiotopの水庭へ。息をのむ美しさ。  雪が散らつく今年の3月にも訪れた水庭。 そのときは樹々の緑はまだ無く、梢が美しい冬の姿の水庭でした。  今回 訪れた夏の水庭は、樹々が葉をたっぷりつけて、下草も自然のままに、もしゃもしゃと生えている緑の水庭でした。  池に樹々が映り込んで、それが風で揺れたり、 水面そのものが揺らいだり。  木と木の間を、池と池の間を、ゆっくりと歩いて行ると、昔のような、未来のような、日本のような、どこか知らない���のような、幻想的な世界に包まれます。  頭の中が次第に空っぽになっていく感じは、禅の庭とも似ているかも。  水庭は、ランチ＋見学ツアーがおすすめ。 那須の美味しい食材がたっぷり味わえますよ。

86B210’s work addresses the underside and doubts of living in modern society. We address this theme through choreographed works reflecting the fight to retain our human spirit and through improvisation revealing this struggle viscerally.


 86B210’s dance presents strong contrasts, in which opposed or contradictory images are married.We compose our works by laying one image on another, as in photo collage, using various kinds of music, and pursue collaborative projects with artists in other fields.
