Ashlynn’s design from my fic A Legacy of Brambles & Thorns (AO3)

Something that the series tends to overlook is that Ashlynn’s story doesn’t start out very well. She’s not in a good situation at home, stuck in a cycle of abuse with her stepmother and stepsisters and forced into servitude. That plays way more into her character in my fic, as it really has a lot of sway on Ashlynn’s overall personality and look.

I tried to keep her palette and patterns recognizable, but her clothes are shredded and soot stained from working on the ground. Her hands and knees are busted from scrubbing floors and fireplaces. Her shoes are sensible, as she doesn’t want to overshadow the fashion of her stepsisters. It doesn’t matter how much gold or finery Ever After slaps on top of what she is, Ashlynn is not a princess yet, but a girl from a very broken home.

About:

Ashlynn is one of the sweetest royal’s at Ever After, and one of the prettiest too when she’s not covered head to toe soot. You won’t find a better or more loyal friend than her, as she’ll mother and fuss over just about anyone (anyone but herself, of course), while not hesitating to run into danger if necessary. Ashlynn is very kind, but also shy and awkward with strangers. She’s a bit of a pushover at times and struggles to say ‘no’, which is why having outgoing company is a must.

Friendship with Ashlynn comes with a few difficulties. She’s a worrier by nature, and struggles with anxiety and some ocd tendencies (she really hates dirty fireplaces, a theme that pops up regularly in her chapters). Ashlynn panics over choices, as she’s used to having things decided for her, has no sense of self-worth, and will work herself into exhaustion if allowed. It’s really important for her to have a strong group of friends (Briar is her best friend for a reason), or she’d be dangerously close to the brink of mental and physical collapse at all times.

Ashlynn was picked randomly to be the legacy of Cinderella, so her life pretty much dissolved in a matter of months. She was not a princess or royalty of any kind before coming to Ever After.

These are the ones I’ve downloaded already. I’ve alr read them but they might have updates so I figured why not download every single one I’ve subscribed to.

“I just put Raven to bed.” The evil queen looked up from her vanity and smirked as she met her husbands glinting eyes.

“Is that so?” He nodded while slithering his arms down her shoulders and onto her waist as he buried his head in the crook of her neck.

Both didn’t need further encouragement as the good king swooped his wife up and brought the towards the bed.

The evil Queen wrapped her arms around his neck, their mouths meeting in the middle in a kiss of deep desperation and want.

They hadn’t had any time together as of late, with Raven in her needy toddler years. And so the usual passionate couple also couldn’t be alone together.

It was truly lucky that Raven had wanted to go to bed this early. But they didn’t question it, they only saw the opportunity to be alone together.

The good king made quick work of discarding her nightgown as he laid them down on the bed. The evil queen in return snapped his pants away with a click of her fingers.

Breathing heavily from their kiss, the evil queen tangled her fingers in his hair while pulling his head down against her mouth.

The good king gripped the sheets below to steady himself as one hand traced her collarbone before moving down to her pantie line.

The evil queen smirked against his mouth, her hand also trailing down his chest until she was grazing the base of dick so lightly that it froze the good king mad.

“Sweetheart don’t-.” She cut him off by suddenly palming him down. The action made him jerk forwards and the evil queen retracted her hand before he could enjoy it.

Their panting and soft moans filled the quiet night as their desperation grew. The evil Queen snapped her fingers and all undergarments that once covered their bodies now disintegrated.

Their moves turned nearly frantic as the good king leaned down and sucked dark hickeys down her neck. The sensation had the evil queen wrapping her legs around his hips as she nudged him down.

He was more than happy to comply as his dick grazed her inner thighs while bringing one leg up his to his shoulder as he started to suck deep marks on her thighs as well.

The evil queen moaned and grabbed his hair as he moved down until his breath was fanning the place she most wanted.

He teased her for bit, licking around her inner thigh but never any closer. That was until his own lust reached its breaking point.

Spreading her thighs, the evil queen bucked her hips forward while also pushing his head against her. Her desire taking control of her.

The good king didn’t need any other encouragement as the next second she felt his warm mouth sucking and licking against her. The evil queen let out a loud moan, her back arching as his tongue prodded her.

The good king looked up at her as he did, his free coming up and pressing her hips down on the bed, not letting her move freely.

But as the good king went to thrust a finger inside, the door to their room suddenly creaked open and they heard the crying of their little Raven.

“Mamma? Daddy?” The good king and evil queen looked at each other in panic as he quickly sprung up and tried to find his pants.

The evil queen got under the covers, her legs shaking as she did. Seeing her husband was still trying to find his pants, she snapped her fingers at him while indicating at the bed.

Just as he got under the covers, the small patter of feet filled the silent room. “Daddy?” The good king looked over the side of the bed seeing his little Raven.

Her face was red and blotched with dry tear stains covering her pale cheeks. He immediately grew concerned and picked Raven up as he sat her on the bed.

“What’s wrong sweetie?” Raven crawled between her parents while more tears poured from her eyes.

“Raven we can’t help you if you don’t tell us.” The evil queen might not have been like the traditional mothers that everyone thought a princess should be but she still cared for her daughter.

Raven looked between the two as she tried to get under the covers. The good king promptly stopped her in a panic as he brought her in his lap.

“I- I had a nightmare.” The evil queen reached forward, her hand brushing away ravens hair from her eyes as she leaned against her pillow.

Sure she was concerned for her daughter’s nightmare but that didn’t mean she wasn’t a little upset that her pleasure time got interrupted for this.

“Oh sweetie it’s ok it’s just a dream.” The good king hugged his daughter tightly against his chest, his hand running up and down her back. Raven still continued to sniffle and weep.

“But what if it’s real!” The evil queen sighed and laid her head on her husband’s shoulder. “Then mamma will have to disintegrate whatever is bothering you.”

Raven giggled at that and relaxed against her dad’s warm chest. “See? Nothing will happen. You will always have me and mamma to look after you my Raven.” The good king placed a kiss to her forehead.

Raven nodded while reaching out to her mother’s platinum hair. The evil queen let her play with it for a while before her husband spoke up.

“Ready to go to bed sweetie?” As much as he loved having his daughter hugging him tightly, he also had a large hard on that he feared his daughter would feel if she accidentally reached back.

Raven immediately perked up and shook her head. “No! I want to sleep here!” The evil queen shook her head as she looked at Ravens eyes. “No sweetie. You have to go back.”

Ravens eyes pricked with tears and her lip wobbled as she threatened to cry again. The good king having a very large soft spot for his daughter immediately nodded.

“You know what Raven you can sleep here but first I want you to go get whatever book you want us to read to you.” Raven jumped in excitement and quickly ran to her room.

The evil queen gave her husband an annoyed look as they started to fix themselves. “We could have continued if we sent her back you know.”

The good king pulled his pants on before hugging his wife from behind. “I know but I just can’t see my daughter cry. It hurts me.” The evil queen didn’t reply and instead pulled her nightgown on.

And so that was how the family spent their night, under the covers with a storybook of evil fairytales with little Raven snuggled between her parents.

You know what I find interesting? It’s the fact that eq x gk is such a random ship like in ravens wiki page it tells us that eq things gk is spineless and pathetic and often bad mouths him to Raven

So I guess I just find that this ship is a little random but honestly still one of my favs

I saw an edit in yt and it kinda get me a idea which i think would be good for a speacial and i just honestly wanna share it

So what if they make an speacial where Cupid will gonna do an opposite on what she usually do (she was curse maybe?) And she will do whatever it takes to break couples up or like make them hate each other and the only way to break is for her to be shot by a love arrow with the one she love? Which will be Dexter And the one that will shoot her is Raven because she's the one who need to put a spell on the arrow (yes I know Raven will be heartbroken but just maybe) and ig they had their ending with Cupid fixing everything thag she made when she was curse BUT because Raven is the one that shot the arrow thru Cupid and Dexter heart It won't be fix so We will have another special for where like a prophecy of maybe a two lovers that will save the whole ever after land so the 3 most very popular couple did try (idk Daring Rossabella,Ashlyn,Hunter,Cupid and Dexter) but then almost all of them isn't that connected so a few tries until almost all finally have done it but the ever after has become Black and white while the magic has been fading more and more every minute Everyone was losing hope already then Cupid suddenly saw Raven How her eyes was full of sorrow just like The Evil Queen Eyes when she saw snow white her eyes is full of anger Cupid telm this to blondie,ashlyn,darling and apple which then one of them said "But the only reason the Evil Queen hates snow is because Snow is the Fairest from now on" then that's where Cupid will Realize Raven is just like her mother They don't say their problems aloud they mostly kept it inside them and show them the other way but Raven show it by avoiding her and Dexter,then Cupid Realize that the prophecy is written about a dark heart that was misunderstood that people can't see the gold that was hidden in this heart and the one that love that heart yet it become confuse Cupid knows that it was Dexter and Raven who need to do it for they trust one another not like how they trust others she felt lonely yet she know what she had to do and then maybe we will get a kissing scene of dexven idk im bored ig but ye this is just an idea

Fanfic Idea: Ever After High Christianity Au

So I’ve been thinking alot about a possible Au where the all the characters were in a very christian/catholic setting.

I first got this idea like a year ago when I listened to this song. (Please listen, it’s so good!”

“Can we say goodbye to, to the lies you told.”

“I believed your stories, at least the blind in me, You gave my eyes what they wanted to see”

“You act like your god and you’re trying to hard, but I need it. I was supposed to believe her, now I’m back to believing.”

Apple is confronting her mother for all the lies she has been told. How if everyone remained pure, fair, and good, everyone will have a chance in heaven and God will love all. But things changed for apple, things she has witnessed has made her realize she put her faith in the wrong hands of her mother and older authorities in her church. She is finally putting a stand against them for her and her friends, while also re examining her relationship with god without denouncing herself as a christian.

What if that was a story. Apple, the most devoted of them all, realizing the toxic influence and chokehold not only her mother, but their church have on everyone and their children. Raven, an atheist, looking to expose the hyprocrisy and corruption of the church and show how it has harmed not only her and her mother, but also the children who she and Apple goes to school with. Milton, old fashioned and strict headmaster and priest of a prestigious and religious boarding school, battling with a teenager over the principles of what is right and wrong. Dexter, Ashlynn, Lizzie, and everyone else’s lives are about being manipulated, abused, and exploited as well as how they deal with it or rebel from it in their own ways.

This story will tackle subjects of religious trauma, femininity , early marriage/engagements, abuse, mental illness, christian family dynamics, generational trauma (Yeah I know it sound like a whole ass series, and it could be)

I saw how more people are talking about Apple and Raven having metaphoric religious trauma, and I was so motivated to move forward with this idea and wanted to say something like, “OK, but what if it was literal, …and worse.” :D✨

Ever After High Pokemon Teams - Ashlynn Ella

Part 3 of my headcannons of "What if Ever After High characters had Pokemon Teams". Today we have...

Ashlynn Ella

Ever since she was little, Ashlynn Ella knew she wanted to be a Pokemon Ranger! She loves helping hurt Pokemon and making them feel better.

Not long after she started her journey, however, she ran into a very kind, handsome and helpful Pokemon Breeder who ended up falling in love with - much to the disagreement of her friends, who do not think that a Journey is a good time to start a relationship. 

While Ashlynn does understand their points, she cannot help her heart. Plus, her Pokemon really seem to like him, so that is definitely something.

Trainer Class: Pokemon Ranger

Ashlynn's team mainly comprises of Pokemon that either can help heal other Pokemon or are Pokemon that have been hurt in the pass.

Tulip the Meganium

Moves:

Sweet Scent

Giga Drain

Body Slam

Leech Seed

Tulip was Ashlynn’s first Pokemon and main partner. They will often spend their days walking through the forest together. Tulip will use her signature breath to help revive dead plants and sick Grass Type Pokemon and her Sweet Scent to help calm down arguments.

When I started planning out Ashlynn’s team, the Chikorita line was an instant perfect starter match. Not only does Meganium’s breath revive dead plants, Ashlynn seems like the type to pick the Grass Starter!

Daisy the Blissey

Moves:

Soft-Boiled

Heal Pulse

Chilling Water

Echoed Voice

Ashlynn found Daisy wandering tired and alone in the forest after starting her journey. The sweet and kind-hearted Pokemon was using Soft-Boiled to heal injured Pokemon in the forest, leaving her with barely any HP for herself! After helping her heal, Daisy decided she wanted to join Ashlynn on her journey. She has since evolved into Blissey and is a vital part of Ashlynn’s team.

Chansey and Blissey were also really easy choices for Ashlynn’s team. I knew Ashlynn would want to heal other Pokemon she encountered on her journey. As for why Blissey instead of Chansey - there is no way that those two would not have a tight friendship bond!

Zinnia the Flechinder

Moves:

Flame Charge

Fly

Steel Wing

U-Turn

Ashlynn found Zinnia as a cute little Fletchling all hurt after being poisoned by a Beedrill and after a quick healing session and meal, Fletchling decided to join Ashlynn’s team! Zinnia would later evolve into a Fletchinder and her ability Flame Body has helped warm up freezing Pokemon and sooth sore muscles.

I wanted Ashlynn to have some kind of bird Pokemon because she is featured in her official artwork with a little bird on her finger, as well as the fact that in many versions of Cinderella, the princess is helped out by some kind of bird. I ended up settling on Fletchinder for her final team. I debated giving her a Talonflame, but I do not see Ashlynn being a huge battler.

Gladiolus the Indeedee

Moves:

Psychic

Healing Wish

Disarming Voice

Hyper Voice

Ashlynn encountered the Indeedee that would become known as Gladiolus when she was traveling through a dark and gloomy forest. Despite the scary atmosphere, Ashlynn’s emotions were positive and this ended up attracting Gladiolus to the Pokemon Ranger. He guided and protected the Pokemon Ranger as they navigated the dim forest and decided to continue traveling with Ashlynn. Gladiolus often helps his trainer with the day-to-day tasks of taking care of hurt Pokemon and everyday chores. However, Gladiolus has also shown interest in another Indeedee that happens to be the Pokemon of another trainer…

Like Blissey, Indeedee is another Pokemon typically used by the Nurse Joys and seemed like another obvious choice for Ashlynn’s team. Why I went with a male Indeedee rather than a female one? 2 reasons, 1) the Pokedex entries for Male Indeedee sound a lot like Cinderella and I thought that fit Ashlynn better and 2) I have Female Indeedee down for another specific trainer for later.

Calla Lily the Corsola

Moves:

Surf

Ancient Power

Life Dew

Earth Power

Ashlynn caught Calla Lily when she was helping Water Pokemon out when cleaning up a polluted sea. Ashlynn ended up having to catch Calla Lily to effectively treat her and Calla Lily ended up wanting to stay with her after having fully recovered. She helps Ashlynn with Water travel and rescues.

When I was looking for a Water Type Pokemon for Ashlynn I remembered that Corsola was constantly having trouble with water pollution and being hunted by Marearnie and I figured Corsola was a perfect fit for Ashlynn’s team. Also, one of Ashlynn’s main colors is coral, so it felt right.

Honeysuckle the Minccino

Moves:

Bullet Seed

Triple Axel

Honeysuckle was found injured and alone and Ashlynn immediately took the little cutie into her care. Like most of her other Pokemon, Honeysuckle did not want to leave Ashlynn and joined her team. Honeysuckle will often help Ashlynn with Pokemon healing by cuddling and cleaning up.

The main reason I put Miniccino on the team was due to its connection to cleaning. But the other reason is how cute and helpful it is! That is also part of the reason I decided to not have Honeysuckle evolve, along with that being a decision that Ashlynn would leave to the Pokemon.

And there it is!! Ashlynn's Pokemon Team! I am planning on posting Hunter's team next, but feel free to comment and suggest other characters you would like to see!

Ashlynn gets scary dog privileges having Briar as a best friend 🙃💕

I really loved their friendship in the show, I wish we saw more of them together. These designs are from my new fic A Legacy of Brambles and Thorns, a darker toned EAH retelling if Snow White took the storybook of legends before the Evil Queen could hide it.

Everyone’s kinda screwed up and there’s really no such thing as ‘happily ever after’ without strings attached.

❄️Canonically Ashlynn and Crystal went to pre-k together, in my AU the remained close since then up till they split off to different middle schools. As always, Crystal can’t tie her shoes and is a spoiled dumbass but Ashlynn is a sweetheart and does anything she can to help her. Also peep Raven, Duchess, and Princess (OC)
