An amazing Twitter account analyses the Korean music charts and advises fans on what to do to get their favourite group to number one on music shows like MCountdown and Music Bank. Here's an example of such an analysis:

As you can see, there's also a category 'SNS', which is music video views, as well as Youtube Shorts and TikToks that use the official sound of the song in question.

A 1500 points are given out, so it's imperative for fans to mass-stream the music video and create as many TikToks/Youtube Shorts as they can. You might see a group partner with Youtube Shorts for a comeback (in recent memory: Stray Kids with Chk Chk Boom), which is exactly for that reason.

It's an unfortunate side effect of social media becoming an important factor in the popularity of a k-pop group. All it does is force dedicated fans to become more invested and spend more time and money into their groups and the social media apps.

she grew up with constant visions of prophecy, until she came to camp around age 11 and received her glasses as a gift from apollo. ophelies power is connected to light, and since vision is just your eyes reflecting light, the less she can physically see, the less future she can see

the sunglasses are enchanted to help muffle the visions; it isn’t a perfect solution but they help ophelie function semi-normally and keep the worst of her power at bay (her siblings have also set up a little pillow fort for her in cabin 7 where it’s dark and calm. they try to help <3)

she also has an affinity for archery and poetry + can tell when you’re lying 9/10 times

Summary:

A Descender along with Lumine and Aether, she grew up and traveled alongside the twins. When the three reached Teyvat, Ophelia felt like something was off and decided to wait for the twins while they explored this new world. After they failed to return, Ophelia went to find them herself, and she was immediately apprehended by the Heavenly Principles and remained dormant. She would wake up a bit after the Traveler and lay low until she reunites with them right after they start their journey (where she also meets Paimon). Ophelia was obviously distressed when she found out the Traveler's sibling was missing, and promised to stop at nothing until they were reunited and could finally leave together. Obviously, that wouldn't last long, as when the sibling is revealed to be part of the Abyss, her world shatters. This leaves both Descenders in shambles, and while the Traveler chose to bottle their feelings up as always, Ophelia chose to vent her complicated feelings by destroying every monster she could find for a while after the reveal, even though Dainsleif told them that the creatures of the Abyss were once human. She eventually calms down, but would act more hostile to the Abyss sibling whenever they're brought up.

Ever since she was little, Ophelia knew that her purpose was to protect the twins that took her in since she has no memories of her original colony. Since she is a "Guardian", Ophelia is not a force to be reckoned with, her only (canonical) loss being when going against the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles (note: she didn't participate in the initial battle with Ei during the 100th vision seizing ceremony, if she did, she probably would've lost :p). Ophelia believes it is her duty, her reason for existence, to make sure the Traveler makes it to see the next sunrise, and if they're hurt, she can never really shake that it was somehow her fault. When she learned about the Abyss sibling, her anger came from the betrayal of one of her closest friends being responsible for such horrendous actions and her self-hatred for not being there for them, even though that wouldn't be possible. Other than that, she tries to live her life to the fullest, creating bonds along her travels. She wouldn't trade spending every day with the Traveler and Paimon for anything, even though she was initially a little jealous when she thought the Traveler was trying to replace her with Paimon.

Even though she loves the Traveler very much, Ophelia sometimes feels like she is outshined by them, and dies a bit inside when residents of Teyvat sometimes don't know who she is. Although she has a lot of self-control, Ophelia sometimes goes a little too far in battle, especially when she's angry, to which Paimon and the Traveler a little concerned about. There was one incident where she beheaded a Lawachurl after dealing with a particularly annoying hilichurl camp, put the head on a stick, and put it on display for all the hilichurls (and unlucky explorers) to see.

In my story, the Traveler is Lumine, but I've been keeping it ambiguous up to here. Either one of the twins, Abyss or not, can be seen as Ophelia's love interest, but I personally try to pair her with the Abyss sibling because I'm a sucker for friends to enemies to lovers)

Can you please go over this?🥹 I've been agonizing over what to do about making Anakin NOT join the empire. I also can't decide if I want the clone wars to happen or not😭

omg so y’all are gonna hate me but i’m shifting for the sequels…but i promise it’s not that bad!!! i’m actually changing like pretty much the entire plot and only salvaging characters and very small additions! i saw this youtube video essay that someone gave ideas for a bunch of ways the sequels actually could have been good that the directors just didn’t do, and i’m stealing some of those. the main one is instead of it being the New Order VS New Republic, there’s a secret even bigger third threat that forces both sides of the Force to work together so the universe isn’t destroyed. i LOVE theatrics apparently!

i’m personally down bad for kylo ren so i can sorta still answer this ask because they’re so fundamentally similar of characters! also, i love star wars, so i’ve definitely thought about Anakin not becoming sith and how that would play out!

i think force visions are very underutilized. it’s a canonical part of the universe that we know Anakin DOES have, because it’s part of the reason he turns to the dark side anyways (he sees himself slaughtering the younglings). i think just scripting that he doesn’t turn to the dark side is a good safety net, but if you wanted to make it more “realistic” in a sense, you could definitely have him get a force vision of you or obi-wan or his mom dying or getting hurt over his actions, which would make him more apprehensive towards the dark side. yes, those visions were most likely sent by palpatine to convince him to join the dark side, but i think an authentic vision of what would happen if he turned to the dark side would keep him wary to the idea.

i also think if anyone got between anakin and palpatine early enough that he wouldn’t be so delusional. maybe script you know/find out palpatine is a sith lord early-on, and the Jedi become aware of it. If you want to be the main character (i totally do this 😭) you can have the council assign you to go spy on palpatine instead of anakin, which would break their bond and make him less likely to fall to the dark side.

Anakin is also literally the chosen one, so he’s meant to bring balance to the force. i personally think the wording of the prophecy doomed him from the start. because, as we learn from Yoda— there’s always two sith. a master and an apprentice. after darth maul was killed in ep. 1, Palpatine needed a new apprentice anyway. And, if he could convince a Jedi Padawan to join the dark side, that would be a double success. The way the force needed be balanced at that moment was with the sith taking on a new apprentice, not by the Jedi defeating the sith like they thought the prophecy meant. So, I think another good way to establish a realistic reason for Anakin not being swayed could be instituting another sith apprentice for Palpatine after darth maul, or simply having it that maul escaped the fight with qui-gon and obi-wan. If palpatine has an apprentice, and Sith come in pairs, he has no need for Anakin Skywalker to become a sith.

On the topic of the clone wars, i mean, you can absolutely do whatever you want. i would just remind you that it is a war— clones, droids, etc. are going to die. if you do want the clone wars included in your dr i would definitely put up some safety nets in your script! things like “i will never be in a position where i have to kill someone” or “broken droids are later fixed” so you don’t feel bad about taking them out! but at the end of the day it’s really up to you! the clone wars come with so many interesting stories and characters, but you also have to remember that it is still a war at its core, even if it is a space war with lightsabers and funky little droids! leaving it in or taking it out both kinda have their ups and downs. if you script, i would add some safety features just to resolve your own worries. if you don’t script that’s also perfectly fine, your subconscious knows what you want and will have it there for you in your dr!

A lie, and a poor one at that. Her father had trained her well, and even when she was unfamiliar with a plant she could usually recognize any signs of danger. Folding her star globe and replacing it in its holster across her back, she sighs softly as darkness descends around them once more and turns to start back up the winding path up the forest slope. "It's probably fine... We still have a lot more ground to cover if we are to find your mysterious, night-blooming flower before sunrise."

I need to know in your opinion what bonedo’s debut song is cause I always debate this?? but I like you was their first mv but it doesn’t feel like a debut to me. one and only is their debut in my mind but the ep didn’t release until serenade mv so is serenade the actual debut??? I didn’t pay too much to promotions at the time but I think I remember one and only being promoted more + it’s the one that got a studio choom. but I’d love to know your thoughts on this <33 I hate the trend of having a million pre releases before the actual debut like it just makes it sooooo confusing 😭😭

First thing to know is that their debut was set up as a release of three singles. That's why they call 'Why..' their first EP as opposed to 'Who!'

'Who!' is meant to be seen as a collection of three singles, which was probably done so that they could simultaneously promote all three songs on every music and variety show. This is different from what groups usually do. Most groups only promote their title track and sometimes a B-side. It also allowed them to call their body of work a trilogy in the long run.

But despite this, they do have a debut title track, and it's 'One & Only'. They intensively promoted this song, more than 'But I like you' and 'Serenade'. It also effectively introduces the audience to the members, their brand/image, and their background. There's a reason why the knocking gesture is their gimmick. It mimics Jaehyun's gesture when he knocks the door in their choreography. It reminds the audience of the door prop that's set up on every stage. It's the core of BOYNEXTDOOR.

And if we weren't totally sure, we recently got confirmation: for their Japanese debut 'And,' they'll release Japanese versions of their title tracks, which includes 'One & Only'.

What are Ophi’s music tastes? or music you’d say is his theme?

I's say overall Ophi's a very musical theater kinda guy! :D I've always sorta wrote him as someone who loves showtunes and more pop music that derives from showtunes (I feel like he'd be really into AJR or whatever the mianite equivalent is) A lot of his motifs come from Hamilton and he also canonically knows about the barbie movie and the songs from it so take that as you will xD

His main character theme is Arrow by Folly and the Hunter ! To me the song's a lot about the fear of never finding and chasing down something that burns like a fire in your heart, calling you to something new and unknown- and finding the strength to leave behind all you've ever known and seeking it out- flying like an arrow towards it, a kind of freedom. It has a dual meaning as it represents Ophi's whole personality and drive to travel across the multiverse become a Dianitee in the face of everyone telling him not to/having to deal with leaving his family behind, and that his strength in combat is as an archer C:

"I am of the Thirteenth. As in I was born there and taken away before it became all void-y. I don't know why, but it was the ascians that took me, they had plans for me. I don't know how long they had me but I ran the second I could, ran far far away and ended up in Ul'dah. I was only six. If they wanted to they could have caught me... I worry about why they didn't. I worry they wanted me to run away."

A long silence followed, only finally broken as she took in a deep breath of the cold, foggy air. "But they're dead now. Lahabrea and Igeyorhm are dead, partially by my own hand, and I never have to think about them again. They will never, ever hurt me or anyone I love again. ...I don't know why I haven't said anything to the other Scions. I think maybe I just want to forget."
